(Note: When I say 'by a house,' that means wherever you can stop and
have intervals [Kaede's house for example])
Chapter 1
Male Kururugi
Inuyasha (1.1)
Scene 1 (Herb hunting)
[Kururugi and Inuyasha are by a house]
Kururugi: Inuyasha, can you please help me?
Inuyasha: With what?
Kururugi: I'm looking for a certain herb. Can you help me find it with
your nose? It has a peculiar smell, so you shouldn't have any problem
finding it with your nose.
Inuyasha: Is that right. What a pain in the butt. Fine, I'll help you.
[the two of them walk out of the scene]
[the next scene has Inuyasha looking through plants with Kururugi
behind him]
Kururugi: Can you find it?
Inuyasha: ... Be patient. I can kind of smell it. [he then begins
sniffing around]
Kururugi: Ha ha ha. He's very serious about this. [he then turns
around and sees something] Huh? Hey, wait a minute... [he then walks
over to the grass behind Inuyasha] Um... actually... [he then turns
around to Inuyasha] Inuyasha!
Inuyasha: Don't bother me. I said I'm looking for it!
Kururugi: I found it.
Inuyasha: [he turns around to look at him] What?
Kururugi: Sorry, about that. Thank you though.
Inuyasha: [he walks over to him] What a waste of time! Well, I'm glad
you found it. But it really doesn't smell like much, from here.
Kururugi: Yes, you have to squish it first. See?
Inuyasha: Let's see. Huh!!!
[a still frame is shown of Inuyasha holding his nose]
Kururugi: What's wrong?
Inuyasha: You fool! Get that away from me!
Kururugi: But it smells good.
[exit the still frame. Inuyasha moves away from Kururugi]
Inuyasha: It doesn't matter, just take it and go away. Now! [They then
run off the screen]
Scene 2 (Demon hunting)
[Kururugi and Inuyasha are by a house]
Kururugi: Inuyasha, what are you gonna do today?
Inuyasha: There's been a lot of demons around here lately. I think I'll
go check out the woods.
Kururugi: You're gonna look for demons on our day off?
Inuyasha: Do the demons have the day off? Anyway, you've gotten pretty
strong. You'll have no problem if one or two small demons show up.
[Inuyasha walks off]
Kururugi: Okay, fine. I'll go with you. [he then follows Inuyasha]
[Kururugi and Inuyasha are out in the forest]]
Kururugi: I hope we don't see any. [they then continue walking] Hey,
Inuyasha?
Inuyasha: [he turns to face Kururugi] What?
Kururugi: You're half-demon, right?
Inuyasha: Why are you asking me that now?
Kururugi: Well, because, I'm not even a little bit scared of you.
Inuyasha: Are you making fun of me? [Myoga then hops on]
Myoga: Yes. Inuyasha is the son of a great demon!
[a still scene is shown of Inuyasha yelling at Myoga with a bubble
showing a close-up of the flea-sized "bodyguard."]
Inuyasha: You! You can't just appear like that! Well, it just turned
out that I help humans, but really...
Myoga: He's indebted to humans.
Inuyasha: Grrrr! Shut your mouth!
Myogoa: It's true, isn't it?
Kururugi: Ha ha ha ha ha. But, no matter what he says, he's nice
to hang out with. Inuyasha really is nice.
Scene 3 (Thinking about Kagome)
[Kururugi and Inuyasha are hanging around a house]
Kururugi: What are you going to do today, Inuyasha?
Inuyasha: The weather is great today! I think I'll go for a walk in
the woods. You can do whatever you want. [he then walks off with
Kururugi going after him]
Kururugi: Hey, wait a minute Inuyasha! I'll come too.
[the scene then switches to a lake in the forest]
Kururugi: Inuyasha, do you...
Inuyasha: Huh?
Kururugi: [Kururugi then looks toward the lake] How do I say it?
Inuyasha: What is it? You're making me feel weird. Just say it.
Kururugi: [he turns to Inuyasha] Okay, I will.
Inuyasha: Just spit it out.
Kururugi: Inuyasha, you know Kagome...
Inuyasha: Huh?
[a still shot is shown of Inuyasha blushing about it]
Kururugi: Uh...
Inuyasha: Kagome? What about Kagome
Kururugi: Well, do you...
Inuyasha: Uhmm...
[the scene switches back to normal]
Kururugi: ... Uh, sorry, never mind! [he then runs off]
Inuyasha: Grrrr... You can't do that!! [he runs after Kururugi]
Scene 4 (Sword practice)
[Kururugi are hanging out by a house]
Kururugi: So, what should we do today?
Inuyasha: I'm going into the woods to exercise. I've got to be prepared
for when we fight Naraku.
Kururugi: Wow, you're really diligent. [they then start walking off]
Wait a minute, Inuyasha!
[the next scene is in a clearing with Inuyasha swinging around the
Tetsusaiga]
Inuyasha: Hmph? Why are you staring at me? Am I really such an unusual
half-demon?
Kururugi: Huh? No, it's not that.
Inuyasha: Then why do you keep staring?
Kururugi: Um... it's because of... that.
Inuyasha: This? Oh, this thing.
Kururugi: Yes. That.
Inuyasha: What about my Tetsusaiga?
Kururugi: I've always been impressed that you can carry a sword with a
real blade.
Inuyasha: Why wouldn't it have a real blade! What do you think?
Kururugi: I've never seen a sword where I live.
Inuyasha: [he walks over to him] That's right. You came from the same
place as Kagome.
Kururugi: Yes. When I see it, I realize I'm a long way from home.
Inuyasha: Hmmm.
[a still frame is shown of Inuyasha holding the Tetsusaiga]
Inuyasha: Would you like to hold it?
Kururugi: Really? Is that okay? But...
Inuyasha: No buts! Just take it!
Kururugi: Huh! This is kinda dangerous!
[back to the normal shot]
Inuyasha: What are you so afraid of?
Kururugi: I've never held such a sharp sword before. I might get hurt.
Inuyasha: Such a baby! Ha ha ha.
Scene 5 (Butterflies)
[Kururugi and Inuyasha are out by a house]
Kururugi: Hey, Inuyasha, let's go for a walk. It's such a
beautiful day!
Inuyasha: Alright. Let's go to the field in the woods.
Kururugi: Okay! [they then walk off the scene]
[they're now in a field of flowers]
Kururugi: Hey, Inuyasha, the scenery is beautiful around here. Why
don't we rest here for a bit?
Inuyasha: Good idea. [he then squats down]
Kururugi: I can't find the words to describe it, but it sure is nice.
Inuyasha: Hmmmm. Is that right...? HUH...
[a still frame is shown of Inuyasha looking at a butterfly]
Kururugi: What is it, Inuyasha? Oh! A butterfly! I've never
seen such a beautiful one!
Inuyasha: There's so many of them! Look over there!
Kururugi: Oh yeah. Alright!
Inuyasha: What?
Kururugi: Let's go after them.
Inuyasha: Go after them? You've got nothing better to do?
Scene 6 (Inuyasha's bath time)
[Kururugi and Inuyasha are outside by the house]
Kururugi: Hey, Inuyasha! Will you go into the river with me?
I wanna do some laundry.
Inuyasha: Laundry? What a bother! Fine, I'll go with you.
[they then walk off]
[they're now at a bridge over a river]
Kururugi: Huh. I finally finished washing the laundry.
Inuyasha: Let's go then.
Kururugi: What? Already? Since we're at the river...
Inuyasha: What? No, you're not?
Kururugi: [he turns to Inuyasha] Come on, Inuyasha, take your clothes
off.
[the scene turns black]
Inuyasha: Take them off. So, you're going for it?
[the scene now shows a still frame of Inuyasha without the top half of
his outfit knee deep in the river]
Inuyasha: Damn! I hate taking baths!
Kururugi: Whatever! Just get in! Aren't you sweaty from washing the
laundry?
Inuyasha: Fine.
Kururugi: How's the temperature? It's cold!
[the bushes are covering them from behind]
Inuyasha: What? You're such a baby! What did you expect?
Kururugi: I just jumped in, so I was a little shocked.
Inuyasha: Is that right? Why are your legs still shaking then?
Kururugi: Your ears are quivering!
Inuyasha: Don't be stupid! I just haven't had a bath in a long time,
my body is a little shocked. Why are you huggin' yourself?
Kururugi: I-I-I'm just w-washing my b-body. I'm washing myself!
Y-y-your teeth a-are ch-ch-chattering!
Inuyasha: You don't know w-what you're t-t... talking about.
I'm just exercising m-my jaw! Y-you're l-lips are blue!
Kururugi: You've g-got goose b-bumps all over your body!
Inuyasha: ...
Kururugi: Uh-g-g-g-g...
Inuyasha: Shou-ld we get out?
Kururugi: Yeah.
Scene 7 (Naptime)
[Kururugi and Inuyasha are out by the house]
Kururugi: Hey, Inuyasha, shall we go for a walk?
Inuyasha: Oh, why all of a sudden... It's our day off. I wanted to take
a nap.
Kururugi: But, it's such a beautiful day! We don't want to waste it!
Inuyasha: Fine. I'll go with you. [Kururugi and Inuyasha then walk
off]
[they appear at a clearing in the woods]
Inuyasha: Hey!
Kururugi: What?
Inuyasha: Let's rest for a bit. I didn't sleep well last night.
Kururugi: What a big yawn! Okay, let's go rest by that tree.
Inuyasha: Ahhhh...
[the scene then turns to Inuyasha sleeping by the tree with Kururugi
standing over him]
Kururugi: Inuyasha? hey, Inuyasha!
Inuyasha: Huh?
Kururugi: What? He's already asleep? That was fast! But he looks happy.
I feel like I'm missing out, 'cuz I'm not sleeping. I know, I'll doodle
on his face!
[the still shot now shows Inuyasha sleeping with swirls drawn into his
face]
Kururugi: My masterpiece! Ha ha ha ha...
Inuyasha: Hm? Be quiet! You woke me up! What are you laughing at?
Kururugi: Ha ha ha ha...
Inuyasha: What? Did you eat something strange?
Kururugi: Ha ha ha ha... Ah, my stomach hurts!
Scene 8 (View from the trees)
[Kururugi and Inuyasha are out by the house]
Kururugi: What should we do today?
Inuyasha: Why don't we take a nap in the woods?
Kururugi: It'll feel good to nap with the sun shining on us. Can I join
you later?
Inuyasha: Sure, I don't mind. I'll go on ahead. [Inuyasha walks off]
[the next scene has Kururugi walking down the forest path]
Kururugi: Inuyasha!
Inuyasha: What? Don't talk so loud. I can hear you. Especially since
I was sitting here quietly thinking.
[the still frame shows Inuyasha sitting on a branch with the sun
shining on him]
Kururugi: There you are! You sure like heights, don't you?
Inuyasha: If you're envious, come up and join me. It's a great view!
Kururugi: I can't climb all the way up there!
Inuyasha: Do I have to do everything for you? Ehh. Ehh.
[Inuyasha then drops down to Kururugi, the screen fading to black]
Kururugi: Huh? What are you doing?
Inuyasha: Be quiet, or you might bite your tongue. [a sound is heard of
him jumping up]
Kururugi: Aaaahh! I'm scared! Let me down!
Inuyasha: You're okay now. Open your eyes. The view is wonderful!
Kururugi: Huh...
[the scene then shows them on top of the branch looking over the
village]
Kururugi: Wow, it really is! Aaah!
Inuyasha: Hey, watch your step!
Kururugi: Okay. [Kururugi turns to Inuyasha]
Inuyasha: So, do you like it? It's a good place to think.
Kururugi: [he turns back to the view] Yes, I feel great! Thank you,
Inuyasha! Inuyasha... Thank you so much! I'll never forget you,
Inuyasha.
Kagome (1.2)
Scene 1 (Cooking)
[Kururugi and Kagome are outside of a house]
Kururugi: What are you going to do today, Kagome?
Kagome: Well, no one's been eating very well lately. So I was thinking
I could make a good meal
Kururugi: Kagome's always thinking about everybody. She's a really kind
person.
Kagome: I can't cook anything too fancy. Can you get some potatoes and
onions from the garden? I'll get things ready while you do that.
Kururugi: Okay. I'll go get 'em now! [Kururugi then runs off]
[the next scene is in the house]
Kururugi: Kagome, here's the onions and potatoes. I found some carrots
too.
Kagome: [she turns to Kururugi] Perfect! Do you think you could help me
a little bit?
Kururugi: Yes, I can. Oh, you're making a bento box!
[the still shot shows Kagome surrounded by vegetables, fish, and a
boiling pot while holding a wooden spoon]
Kagome: Yes. I think we're going to be traveling pretty far tomorrow.
Kururugi: Look at Kagome cooking. It's great that she's so good at it.
We're so lucky!
Kagome: Hey! What are you staring at?
Kururugi: Sorry. I was just admiring your skill. I'll help!
Kagome: Of course you will! That's why I called you. Now, take those
radishes! No, not those! Those are carrots!
Kururugi: Sorry, sorry! Oh! These?
Kagome: If you have time to say you're sorry, you have time to work!
Next, you can chop the wood and make a fire in the oven. And bring some
water from the river. Oh, yeah, and wash the dirty pots. And...
Kururugi: Huh... Kagome sure likes to boss people around.
Scene 2 (Archery practice)
[Kururugi and Kagome are out by the house]
Kururugi: Huh? What's the bow for?
Kagome: I thought I would practice a little. I won't get any better if
I don't.
Kururugi: I'll come too! [they then walk out of the scene]
[the next shot has Kagome shooting an arrow, then a still shot of her
holding her bow, ready to shoot]
Kagome: It's not that easy to use a bow and arrow. It's difficult to
hit your target.
Kururugi: Hmm. Okay, I'll show you how.
Kagome: Thank you, but, have you ever used one before?
Kururugi: Leave it to me! Once, the captain of the archery team...
..was sitting to the side and back of me.
Kagome: ...
Kururugi: Yes. But you have to hold your left hand more steady. Like
this...
Kagome: Huh. Oh, are you okay?
Kururugi: I'm fine, I'm fine. I'm okay! Never mind. So as I was saying,
he was sitting to the side and back of me. The arrow's loose!
Kagome: Careful!
Kururugi: I-I'm sorry. Huh? I can smell her hair when she stands close
to me like this.
Kagome: Hey, don't slacken your arms. Hold it steady!
Scene 3 (Reading comics)
[Kururugi and Kagome are inside a house]
Kururugi: Here's the comic book I borrowed from you last night.
Kagome: Did you like it?
Kururugi: Yes, it was really interesting! What's your favorite part?
Kagome: Probably around this part.
[the still shot then shows Kagome holding up her comic]
Kururugi: Too close. Too close.
Kagome: I didn't know guys read these kinds of books, too.
Kururugi: Ha ha... Well, a friend recommended it.
Kagome: Huh? Oh, I see. It was a girl wasn't it?
Kururugi: No.
Kagome: Well, you look kinda flustered.
Kururugi: That's because you're standing so close to me.
Scene 4 (Trying out a different outfit)
[Kagome is shown inside a house talking to Kururugi off screen]
Kagome: Hey, I wanted to ask you before, but your school uniform is a
jacket, isn't it?
Kururugi: [he then walks into the scene] Yes, it is.
Kagome: Huh?
Kururugi: What?
Kagome: We have the sailor style uniforms, so I'm jealous of you.
Kururugi: Huh? Really?
Kagome: Can I borrow that for a minute?
Kururugi: What?
Kagome: Your jacket. I wanna try it on. Please!
Kururugi: Sure, why not? Kagome wants to wear my uniform...
[the screen fades to black, then shows Kagome holding up Kururugi's
shirt to her body]
Kagome: How do I look?
Kururugi: Yeah. It suits you... I think. No matter what she does, she's
cute. I've got butterflies in my stomach.
Scene 5 (Kagome's bath time)
[Kururugi and Kagome are outside by a house]
Kagome: I'm going to the river to wash laundry. Do you want to help me?
Kururugi: Wash the laundry in the river? It reminds me of the stories
from the olden days. It's great weather, it should be fun. C'mon, let's
go! [they then walk off the scene]
[they're now standing on a bridge over a river]
Kagome: The water is so beautiful! Hey, can you be on the lookout for
me for a little while. [she turns to look at him]
Kururugi: What are you going to do?
Kagome: Can't you tell? I haven't had a bath in ages, so...
[the scene goes black]
Kururugi: Oh, a bath! K-Kagome! S-sorry. I'll go over there right away.
Kagome: Hey, if you go that far, you can't look out for me!
Kururugi: Oh yeah. Sorry. Is right here okay?
[the scene then goes to a still of Kagome in the river covering her
body]
Kagome: Aaaaah! Hey, don't look at me! Right there. That's fine.
Now make sure no one comes near.
Kururugi: Got it. Um. I'm supposed to watch, no, make sure no one
comes? Oh, this is stressful.
Scene 6 (Playing with flowers)
[Kururugi and Kagome are out by a house]
Kururugi: What are you going to do today, Kagome?
Kagome: Let's go for a walk in the forest.
Kururugi: Okay! Let's go!
[the scene fades out, then in to a clearing in the forest]
Kururugi: Kagome, you can feel the presence of the shards of the Shikon
Jewel and demonic auras, right?
Kagome: Yes, I don't really understand why I can see them.
Kururugi: Can you feel them now?
Kagome: A little. I can feel some things here and there in the mountain,
but not much. [Kagome then turns around] What's that?
There's a light over there. [she then runs off]
Kururugi: Hey, Kagome! Wait! Where are you going? [he then follows
after her]
[the scene now goes to a field of flowers]
Kagome: Wow! It's so beautiful!
Kururugi: Oh yeah, who knew there was a place like this around? Is this
the light we saw earlier?
Kagome: The whole field of flowers is glowing slightly. It must be
filled with the memory of someone or perhaps some kind of god lived
here. [she then kneels down]
Kururugi: Huh? [he turns to look at Kagome] The memory of someone... I
wonder if it could be my thoughts about Kagome...
[the still shot turns to Kagome kneeling on the grass wearing a crown
of flowers]
Kagome: Here. They're so pretty, I just had to make one.
Kururugi: Huh?
Kagome: Ha ha ha! It suits you! You look really cute! Ha ha ha ha!
Kururugi: I can't wear that. I'm a boy. I think you should wear it.
See! Very cute! It suits you much better than me! She's really cute!
Scene 7 (Studying algebra)
[Kururugi and Kagome are inside a house]
Kagome: How far are you in math at school?
Kururugi: Huh? Oh, you're talking about the present?
Kagome: Yes.
Kururugi: I think we were learning algebra.
Kagome: Perfect! I think that's going to be in my next test, but it's
been ages since I've studied. Hey, do you think you could teach me?
Please, please, please?!
Kururugi: You don't have to beg! Of course I will. She was so earnest.
But, she's just so cute. I have to be serious about this... Study...
Study! Okay, I'll help you.
Kagome: Thanks, teacher!
[the scene then fades to black]
Kururugi: Teacher, huh? I feel kinda self-conscious. Okay! Well, I'm
pretty good at math, so... this will be fun, just Kagome and me.
[the scene then goes to a still of Kagome looking over a schoolbook]
Kururugi: ...and it's kinda like that. Do you get it?
Kagome: Hmmm. I think I might have got it.
Kururugi: How can I explain it?
Kagome: Ahuh. Oh, I got it! It's like this. Right?
Kururugi: Yes! You're so smart! You did it!
Kagome: Only 'cuz I have such a good teacher! I really didn't get it
until now. Thanks, teacher!
Kururugi: You're welcome! She's so close and she's smiling... It makes
me feel so good!
Scene 8 (Fixing up the bike)
[Kururugi and Kagome are outside by a house]
Kururugi: What are you going to do today, Kagome?
Kagome: I think I want to fix my bike.
Kururugi: Okay, I'll help you. Do you wanna go for a bike ride
afterwards?
Kagome: Yes! [they then walk off the scene]
[the next scene has them at a hill]
Kururugi: What's wrong? Why do you look so down?
Kagome: Well, the bike has so many more scratches than I thought it
did. I used to use this bike to get to school. If it gets any worse, I
may not be able to ride it anymore...
Kururugi: I can see that Kagome thinks about the present too, and she
misses it sometimes. Am I the only one that can tell. I guess so...
Come on, Kagome, get on the bike!
Kagome: Huh?
Kururugi: It doesn't matter, just get on!
Kagome: Okay.
[the still shot shows Kagome riding on her bike with Kururugi behind
her]
Kururugi: Alright, are you ready? Here we go!
Kagome: Ha ha ha ha! Ha ha ha. It's so fast!
Kururugi: Okay, here we go, a little faster! How is it, Kagome? Do you
feel better now?
Kagome: Yes! Thank you for being concerned!
Kururugi: You're welcome! As long as you feel better!
Kagome: Thank you! I feel a hundred percent better!
Kururugi: I'm glad. But now, I'm totally pooped.
Kagome: Aah! No, no! Come on, you're a man, aren't you?! You can do it!
Ha ha ha.
Kururugi: What? Noooo.
Miroku (1.3)
Scene 1 (Miroku's teachings)
[Kururugi and Miroku are out by a house]
Miroku: It's such good weather. Why don't we go for a walk?
Kururugi: Okay, Miroku.
Miroku: Well, then, let's go.
[the scene fades out, then into a forest path with them walking]
Kururugi: Miroku?
Miroku: [Miroku turns to Kururugi] What is it?
Kururugi: Miroku, why is it that even though you have strong dharma,
you...
Miroku: I... what?
Kururugi: Why do you, um, you know, do... "that"... to girls?
Miroku: Do what?
Kururugi: You know, you see a girl and immediately you try to touch her
bum or ask her if she'll be the mother of your children.
Miroku: What? Why are you trying to deny human nature?
Kururugi: I don't mean it like that.
[a still shot is shown of Miroku's face]
Miroku: The most important thing in this world is that you live your
life to the fullest each and every day. Have babies. Raise them. Then
those children will live out their lives. That cycle is the essence of
life.
Kururugi: ...
Miroku: Every day, I try to make more girls understand this teaching. I
try my best.
Kururugi: So that's the way it is...
Miroku: Yes, that's the way it is.
Kururugi: But why just teach girls?
Miroku: Because I don't like boys.
Scene 2 (Out on a picnic)
[Kururugi and Miroku are out by a house]
Kururugi: What are you going to do today, Miroku?
Miroku: There's a cold going around, so I think I'll go gather
medicinal herbs.
Kururugi: Miroku, you are too kind. Always thinking about everybody
else.
Miroku: No, no. It's to be expected. Well, let's go.
[The scene fades out, then into a clearing with three statues]
Miroku: It's such good weather!
Kururugi: Yes, it is Miroku!
Miroku: Would you like to rest here?
Kururugi: Sure. Why not?
[the still shot shows Miroku kneeling down to have some tea]
Miroku: ...
Kururugi: It really is good weather!
Miroku: Oh yes...
Kururugi: What?
Miroku: I just remembered I have some sweet bean buns.
Kururugi: I can have one?
Miroku: I took them from the stone statue we just passed.
Kururugi: Uhh!? Is that okay? Isn't that like stealing?
Miroku: Giving something to Buddha is the same thing as giving it to
me.
Kururugi: Okay.
Miroku: Rather than letting it go bad, it is much more beneficial to
take them.
Kururugi: Miroku, you really are a smooth talker.
Miroku: How can you, who has such a dirty mouth, say that?
Kururugi: You got me.
Scene 3 (Exorcising a "demon")
[Kururugi and Miroku are out by a house]
Kururugi: Miroku, what are you going to do today?
Miroku: I'm going to go check on the village people and see if anyone
needs help. Would you like to come?
Kururugi: You're going to do that on your day off? I'll go with you.
Miroku: If that's what you've decided, let's go.
[the scene fades out, then goes to the boys walking down the path near
an old man's house]
Miroku: Actually, are you hungry?
Kururugi: Um, now that you mention it, I am a little.
Miroku: Okay, then... Um, could you close your eyes for a minute?
Kururugi: Y-yes. Like this?
Miroku: Just like that. Now turn right and go straight.
Kururugi: Okay. [he then walks up to the old man]
Miroku: Stop there and turn around. [Kururugi spins around a bit]
Kururugi: Like this? Oh, I'm getting dizzy. [he then drops to his
knees]
Mata: Oh, what happened?
Kururugi: [he stands up] Oh, nothing...
Miroku: Are you the man of the house here?
Mata: [he turns to Miroku] A monk, I see. Yes, I am the man of the
house.
Miroku: The thing is, there was a very strong demon aura coming from
your house.
Mata: What? It can't be!
Miroku: There's no mistake. My disciple here was attacked by it and
started spinning.
Kururugi: Huh?
Miroku: If I don't do an exorcism, something bad will happen.
Mata: I can't let that happen! What can I do?
Miroku: Leave it to me. I need purifying salt and kaneko.
Mata: Kaneko? Do you mean money?
Miroku: Yes. The demon aura will be sucked into the money. I will then
exorcise it and it will be purified. Now, now, get ready, quickly. I
will stay in the house and restrain the demonic aura until you've made
the preparation.
Mata: I understand. I will go prepare everything right away. Please
wait here. [he then walks off]
[the still shot is another close-up of Miroku]
Kururugi: Um, excuse me, Miroku.
Miroku: Shhh! It went well. Play along.
Kururugi: O-okay. I really don't know what to say.
Scene 4 (Palm reading)
[Kururugi and Miroku are out by a house]
Kururugi: What are you going to do today, Miroku?
Miroku: Well, perhaps the village people need help again, I think I'll
go check on them. Would you like to go with me?
Kururugi: Last time he really did something terrible, so...
Miroku: If you're not coming, I'll go on my own.
Kururugi: I'll go with you to make sure you don't do anything weird
again.
[the scene fades out, then to a scene where they're outside another
house]
Miroku: Show me your palms.
Kururugi: What? What kind of scandalous thing are you planning on doing
today?
Miroku: How can you call me scandalous? I was just going to read your
palm.
Kururugi: Oh, Miroku, you can read palms?
Miroku: Of course, there is no such thing as impossible for a monk.
Kururugi: That sounds really cheesy coming from him.
Miroku: Were you just thinking something rude?
Kururugi: Huh! Sorry, I won't think you're cheesy anymore.
Miroku: That's what you were thinking? That's okay. Just show me your
palm. I can't focus unless you close your eyes.
Kururugi: Okay. [he sticks his hand out to Miroku as it fades to black]
Miroku: If you have a long life line, that means...
[the next scene is a still of Miroku giving palm readings to women all
around him]
Kururugi: Huh? Miroku, who are you talking to? I can hear a bunch of
girls' voices all of a sudden. What are you doing, Miroku? Don't try to
pick up girls by reading my palm.
Scene 5 (Being one with nature)
[Kururugi and Miroku are out by a house]
Kururugi: Miroku, where do you want to go?
Miroku: Today, I would like to meditate. I need to empty my heart and
practice being one with nature.
Kururugi: So, sometimes, you act like a real monk.
Miroku: Of course. Are you coming?
Kururugi: Well, I've got nothing else to do and it sounds interesting.
I'll go with you.
Miroku: Okay.
[the scene fades out, then fades in to a river they walk over to]
Miroku: This place looks good.
Kururugi: What do you do when you want to become one with nature?
Miroku: It's a very hard practice. First, you have to be completely
silent.
Kururugi: Okay.
Miroku: Next, no matter what happens, you have to be calm.
Kururugi: Okay. I get it.
Miroku: Really? We're going to begin our practice. Are you ready?
Kururugi: Yes. I'll do my best.
[the next scene has a still shot of Miroku parting some tall grass]
Kururugi: What is this?
Miroku: Shhhh! Be silent. Be one with nature.
Kururugi: Yes. This is a difficult practice.
Miroku: It's a very important practice.
Kagome: Aaaaaaaaaaaa! Someone's watching me!
Miroku: Be one with nature and follow me! Hurry!
Kururugi: Okay, master!
Kagome: Idiots! What are you doing?
Scene 6 (About the Wind Tunnel)
[Kururugi is by the house by himself]
Kururugi: Where's Miroku? [Inuyasha walks onto the scene]
Inuyasha: What are you doing?
Kururugi: Hey, Inuyasha? Have you seen Miroku?
Inuyasha: I saw him at the edge of the forest.
Kururugi: Thank you. I'll go look there. [Kururugi then runs off]
[The next scene has Kururugi finding Miroku on a forest path]
Kururugi: Miroku.
Miroku: [he turns to Kururugi] What?
Kururugi: I hear that the Wind Tunnel on your right hand can suck up
anything.
Miroku: Yes it can.
Kururugi: Really?
Miroku: Yes.
Kururugi: Anything?
Miroku: Anything.
Kururugi: huh...
Miroku: Yes, everything. Even the future.
Kururugi: What does that mean?
Miroku: It means that this Wind Tunnel will eventually swallow me up
completely.
Kururugi: Oh. I'm sorry.
Miroku: That's okay. Nothing lasts forever. That's the nature of this
world.
Kururugi: Yes.
[Miroku looks away, then it turns to a still shot of him looking out to
the sky]
Miroku: What you do until the end. That is what matters.
Kururugi: Yes.
Miroku: But, to be honest, I am scared of this Wind Tunnel. It took me
a long time to accept that I was scared of it.
Kururugi: Miroku.
Miroku: But I think that it is important to feel scared, frightened and
everything that your heart feels.
Kururugi: I thought he was already enlightened, but he is still
suffering inside himself.
Scene 7 (Riding above the clouds)
[Kururugi and Miroku are out by a house]
Miroku: How big and high! The sky is beautiful today!
Kururugi: Yes, it is.
Miroku: Would you like to hang out with me today?
Kururugi: Yes. [they then walk off]
[the next scene is a still shot of Kururugi and Miroku riding on a
Hachi]
Kururugi: Wow! This is amazing! We're flying!
Miroku: It doesn't hurt to give the Hachi a rest.
Kururugi: Ah, I get it... But thanks for inviting me, anyway! It feels
so good!
Miroku: I'm glad.
Kururugi: Miroku. I wanted to tell you before that I am really glad I
met you all.
Miroku: Why all of a sudden?
Kururugi: You're a bit of a sleaze ball, but you always help me. You
give me courage.
Miroku: I'm the same. That's what friends are for. To help each other.
Kururugi: Friends... Yeah, friends are the best!
Sango (1.4)
Scene 1 (New look)
[Kururugi walks into the house]
Kururugi: Huh...
Sango: Huh!!
Kagome: What do you think? Cute, huh? Why are you so stiff?
[the still shot has Sango's hair in a bun with Kagome's hands holding
it up]
Kururugi: Huh? Oh! It's you Sango. I didn't realize it was you.
Kagome: See?
Sango: What are you saying! This is stupid. I don't think it suits me.
Kagome: That's not true.
Kururugi: No, you're definitely wrong. It really suits you. Really.
Sango: Uh, thank you. Does it really?
Kururugi: Sango looks different than usual. She's so cute when she's
shy. I feel lucky to have seen that side of her.
Scene 2 (Practice)
[Kururugi and Sango are out by a house]
Kururugi: What are you going to do today, Sango?
Sango: I think I'll go to the forest and practice with my Hiraikotsu.
Kururugi: Whenever you have a spare moment you're always practicing,
aren't you?
Sango: Yes. It's a habit from when I lived in Demon-Slayer Village.
Kururugi: Can I come watch you? I won't get in the way.
Sango: Sure. I'm going now. Come whenever you like. [Sango then walks
off]
[the next scene has Kururugi walking up to Sango in her fighting
outfit]
Kururugi: Sango?
Sango: There you are.
Kururugi: Wow! Do you do that every day?
Sango: Practice, you mean? Ah, yeah, I do.
Kururugi: But you're so strong...
Sango: You've got it wrong. It's because I practice every day that I am
strong.
Kururugi: Really?
[the next scene is a still shot of Sango sitting down to wipe some
sweat off]
Sango: Yes. Unlike Inuyasha, I'm just a regular human without much
strength.
Kururugi: Not much strength? Yeah, right.
Sango: But that's not why I started practicing.
Kururugi: Hmm...
Sango: In the Demon-Slayer Village, this is part of every day life.
Just like when you go to school and study all that difficult stuff.
Kururugi: I don't think it's the same...
Scene 3 (Heavy lourde)
[Kururugi is by a house]
Kururugi: Where's Sango? [Shippo walks over to him]
Shippo: What?
Kururugi: Hey, Shippo, have you seen Sango?
Shippo: Isn't she in the woods practicing like she always does?
Kururugi: Thanks! I'll go see. [Kururugi then runs off]
[the next scene has him catching up to Sango]
Kururugi: Sango?
Sango: You're here again. I'm not doing anything interesting.
Kururugi: I think I'd like to practice today.
Sango: Huh?
Kururugi: Do you remember you were saying that you're just a regular
human being?
Sango: Huh? Oh yes.
Kururugi: I've been thinking about it. I've been too soft on myself, so
I want to start practicing.
Sango: You've got more guts than I thought.
Kururugi: Really?
Sango: Yes. I have to admit I like people who think like that.
Kururugi: Huh?
Sango: Don't be a fool. Why are you turning red? I was talking about a
way of thinking.
Kururugi: Oh, I see. Can I try carrying that? I'll carry it for you.
Sango: My Hiraikotsu?
Kururugi: Yes. Let me carry it, I'm strong enough.
Sango: Are you sure? It's really heavy. Okay, here you go.
[it fades to black]
Kururugi: I-it's h-heavy... ...
[the next scene has Sango reaching out for Kururugi]
Sango: Careful! ...
Kururugi: I'm so sorry! I was really surprised! It's so heavy!
Sango: You've got a long way to go. But if you continue on, you'll get
stronger. Let's practice together again.
Kururugi: Okay, Sango!
Scene 4 (Kirara)
[Kururugi and Kirara are by a house]
Kururugi: Hey, Kirara? Are you by yourself? Where's Sango? [Kirara
meows] Do you want some dried fish? H-hey, Kirara. Where are you going?
[Kirara runs off with Kururugi following behind]
[the next scene has Kirara and Kururugi in a clearing with Sango
entering the scene]
Sango: I was looking for you, Kirara.
Kururugi: Sango! [Sango walks over to Kirara]
Sango: What? Oh, thanks for feeding Kirara. You've made Kirara very
happy, I can tell.
Kururugi: Oh, it wasn't much. But, Kirara always know where you are,
doesn't she?
[the next scene has Sango holding Kirara in her arms]
Sango: Yes. She's family. Kirara and Kohaku are the only family I have
left.
Kururugi: Kohaku, the one that Naraku...
Sango: Yes, he's my only brother.
Kururugi: ...
Sango: You don't have to look so sad. One day I will get him back.
Kururugi: Yes.
Sango: Kirara likes you. I've never seen her like anyone other than
Kohaku and I. I think we will get along fine.
Kururugi: Huh? I wonder what she means?
Scene 5 (Sango's bath time)
[Kururugi and Sango are out by a house]
Kururugi: Sango, what do you want to do today?
Sango: I want to do my laundry, so I'm going to the river.
Kururugi: Oh, yeah. I'll come along and help you.
Sango: That's okay. I can do it by myself. But, you can help me carry
the kimonos afterwards.
Kururugi: Okay, I'll see you later.
[the scene fades out, then in to a river flowing past a bridge as
Kururugi walks onto the scene]
Kururugi: Sango? That's weird. She said she was doing the laundry.
Huh!!
Sango: Aaaaaaaa!
[the still shot shows Sango covering herself in the river with her
Hiraikotsu some distance away]
Sango: You idiot! Look over there!
Kururugi: I-I-I'm s-sorry! I didn't do it on purpose.
Sango: Whatever! Just look over there!
Kururugi: I'm sorry. I'm leaving now. Hey, don't throw that! Hmm. So,
you take your Hiraikotsu with you even when you bathe?
Sango: Is that weird?
Kururugi: Yes. It's weird, 'cuz you're a girl.
Sango: Really? But, I've had this with me since I was a little girl.
Kururugi: I see.
Sango: It's almost like a part of my body now.
Kururugi: I see.
Sango: And...
Kururugi: What?
Sango: How long are you gonna stand there?
Kururugi: Oh.
Sango: I can't get out until you leave.
Kururugi: I'm sorry!
Scene 6 (Sango's favorite field)
[Kururugi is by a house]
Kururugi: Where's Sango? [Kagome walks onto the scene] Hey, have you
seen Sango?
Kagome: She went towards the field.
Kururugi: Thanks. I'll go see. [Kururugi leaves the scene]
[the next scene is a still of Sango standing in a field of flowers]
Kururugi: Who is that standing there? Sango? But, she looks so
beautiful!
Sango: Beautiful, no?
Kururugi: Huh?
Sango: This is my favorite field of flowers. What do you think?
Kururugi: Yes, it's beautiful. Oh, I see... She was talking about the
flowers...
Sango: Why do you look so spaced out?
Kururugi: It's so beautiful, I feel like it's taken my soul away. I
didn't realize Sango was so very beautiful.
Sango: What's that all about? Doesn't sound like you. Ha ha ha. What's
up? Still spaced out?
Kururugi: Ha ha ha... Am I? Sango's beauty is hard to ignore.
Scene 7 (Riding on Kirara)
[Kururugi and Sango are by a house]
Sango: Yes. It's an especially good day today!
Kururugi: Yes. It's been a while since I've stared at the sky for so
long.
Sango: Come with me for a little while. You too, Kirara. [they walk off
the scene]
[the next scene has Kirara in monster form over the clouds while Sango
is in her battle outfit with Kururugi holding onto her]
Kururugi: Wow! This is amazing!
Sango: We're always going after demons, so it's good to relax
sometimes.
Kururugi: Sango, thank you! But, we're not too heavy for Kirara?
Sango: It's fine. Kirara says she's happy to fly freely again. It's
been a long time. Right, Kirara?
Kururugi: It's very rare to see Sango being playful. And she's laughing
so freely. I guess, she's just a normal girl. It makes me happy to see
her having so much fun. I could watch her smile forever.
Shippo (1.5)
Scene 1 (Upsy-daisy!)
[Kururugi and Shippo are out by a house]
Shippo: What are you going to do today?
Kururugi: I'm going to pick herbs in the forest. Come with me, Shippo!
[the scene fades out, then into a forest path]
Kururugi: Hey, Shippo!
Shippo: What?
Kururugi: You should hold my hand, so you don't get lost.
Shippo: Don't be dumb! I don't wanna!
Kururugi: Come on, you can hold my hand. [Kururugi kneels down to
Shippo]
Shippo: No, it's stupid! What are you doing? Let go, let go!
Kururugi: Why are you being so shy?! I know! Here you go! Up, up you
go!
[the still shot is shown of Shippo being tossed into the air]
Shippo: What are you doing?
Kururugi: You're so light Shippo! One more time!
Shippo: Whoaaaaa...! Ha ha ha ha.
Kururugi: There you go.
[the scene fades back out to Kururugi and Shippo]
Shippo: What, that's it? Boring.
Kururugi: Oh? You like it now? Okay, I'll do it again.
Shippo: Okay, let's see what you got!
Scene 2 (Candy)
[Kururugi and Shippo are by a house]
Kururugi: I have some leftover sweets. Do you want some?
Shippo: Um. No, no, thanks.
Kururugi: It's very rare that you turn down sweets. [he kneels down to
Shippo]
Shippo: Aren't they the same lollipops that Kagome had?
Kururugi: Look, they're very good! See?
Shippo: N-no, I don't want any.
Kururugi: Why? That was your favorite.
Shippo: Only little kids want that kind of thing. I'm not a little kid
anymore.
Kururugi: I see what's going on. He's holding back. I know... Smells so
good! And it looks really tasty.
Shippo: I won't be enticed by a piece of candy.
Kururugi: Well, I don't want to waste it, so I guess I'll eat it up.
Shippo: W-wait!
[the next scene is a still of Shippo holding a lollipop]
Kururugi: He took it.
Shippo: I'll take it for now. But I won't eat it! It's too tempting, so
I'll throw it away.
Kururugi: Okay, that's fine. But if you eat it, make sure you brush
your teeth.
Shippo: I said I'm not going to eat it!
Scene 3 (Picking up acorns)
[Kururugi and Shippo are out by a house]
Shippo: I'm going to go collect acorns.
Kururugi: Acorns... Aren't those the nuts you're always using in your
magic?
Shippo: Yes, they are. You have a good memory.
Kururugi: You're gonna take me with you? Well, why don't you hold my
hand again?
Shippo: W-what are you saying? Are you trying to embarrass me or
something!
Kururugi: Ha ha ha! Okay, let's go!
[the scene fades out, then in to a clearing in the forest]
[the next scene is a still shot of Shippo holding an acorn]
Shippo: These acorns mix well with my magical power. This is my special
secret spot. I trust you. But don't tell anybody else.
Kururugi: Really? Thank you, Shippo?
Shippo: Moron! Don't slack off! Start picking them up!
Kururugi: Yes, yes. Okay.
Scene 4 (Transforming)
[Kururugi is by a house]
Kururugi: Where did Shippo go? [Kagome walks onto the scene] Kagome, do
you know where Shippo went?
Kagome: Shippo went towards the field.
Kururugi: Thanks. I'll go check. [Kururugi then exits the scene]
[the next scene has Kururugi crossing a bridge when suddenly, Inuyasha
appears]
Kururugi: Shippo? [Inuyasha walks over to him] Hey, Inuyasha, wasn't
Shippo just here?
Inuyasha: What?
Kururugi: Huh?
Inuyasha: Ha ha ha. How was that? [he then turns to Shippo]
Shippo: I totally tricked you!
Kururugi: So, it was you? When you change so suddenly, even though I
know it's you, it's really surprising!
Shippo: Of course! Transforming is my favorite magical power.
Transforming seems easy, but it really isn't. There's a lot to it.
Kururugi: Show me more!
Shippo: How's this? [he changes into Kagome]
Kururugi: Yeah! No matter how hard I look at you, you look exactly like
Kagome!
Shippo: Okay, here's the next one! [he changes into Miroku]
Kururugi: Now, you're Miroku!
Shippo: It's hard to look like a ladies' man, but, what do you think?
Kururugi: Yeah, I guess.
Shippo: Next... [he changes into Sango]
Kururugi: Sango! Wow!
Shippo: Are you impressed? Okay, now... [he changes into Inuyasha]
Transform! [he changes into Kururugi] Transform! Transform! [now he
changes into a shorter looking Miroku] T-transform!
Kururugi: Are you okay, Shippo? Your face is all red.
Shippo: Why can't I? Trans... form.
[the next scene is a still shot of Shippo in his pink ball form with
swirly eyes and sweat drops]
Shippo: Huh? I feel dizzy...
Kururugi: Aah! Shippo, are you okay?
Shippo: Ha ha ha. It, it was nothing. Was that interesting?
Kururugi: Yes, it was very interesting! But, you really didn't have
to try that hard.
Shippo: What? I wasn't trying hard at all.
Scene 5 (Lizard-kebabs)
[Kururugi and Shippo are by a house]
Kururugi: Hey, Shippo, should we have lunch soon?
Shippo: Sure. I'm okay, but you don't look good.
Kururugi: Yeah. You're very kind, Shippo. I can see that Shippo is
actually really hungry, too. By the way, you can have this. It's the
last snack that was in my pocket! [he kneels down to Shippo]
Shippo: Really? I can have it? You don't want any?
Kururugi: You like these, don't you? You can have it.
Shippo: Thank you.
Kururugi: Don't worry about it!
Shippo: But I can't be the only one to get something special. In
exchange, you can have this!
[the next scene is a still shot of Shippo munching on a fried lizard on
a stick while holding one out for Kururugi]
Kururugi: Huh? A lizard? Yuck, I mean..
Shippo: Oh, you don't like 'em?
Kururugi: I'm sorry. No, I'll take it.
Shippo: Really! I have lots! Eat them all!
Kururugi: Th-thank you. This sucks, but Shippo will be disappointed if
I don't eat it. It's so bitter! And so gritty!
Scene 6 (Shippo's bath time)
[Kururugi and Shippo are by a house]
Shippo: What are we gonna do now?
Kururugi: The weather's good. Why don't we take a walk?
Shippo: Not much else I can do. I guess I'll go with you. [Shippo walks
off]
Kururugi: Look at you smiling. You actually do want to come! [Kururugi
walks off the scene]
[the next scene has Kururugi and Shippo looking over a lake]
Kururugi: The water is beautiful here! Hey, Shippo, it's been a while
since we've had a bath, why don't we have one here?
Shippo: Sure! It's fun to take a bath with someone! [Kururugi kneels
down to pick up Shippo] Hey! Nobody asked you to hang on to me.
Kururugi: But, it's deep in here, Shippo. It might be dangerous.
Shippo: That's stupid! How embarrassing! [he then begins to shake in
Kururugi's arms]
Kururugi: Hey, Shippo, settle down!
[the scene fades to black]
Shippo: It's alright! Let go! Whoa...!!
Kururugi: Oh no!
Shippo: Whoa...!! My feet can't reach the bottom.
[the next scene is a still shot of Shippo laid back on some rocks with
swirly eyes]
Kururugi: Huh! Are you okay? Shippo, hold on!
Scene 7 (Shippo's plans)
[Kururugi and Shippo are out by a house]
Shippo: Actually, I have a favor to ask you. Will you go over there
with me?
Kururugi: Sure, I guess so.
[the next scene is at a clearing, then to a still shot of Shippo
holding a tiny stick like it's a sword]
Kururugi: He looked so earnest, so I was a little worried about what he
was going to ask. But he just wanted to practice with me.
Shippo: Sorry you had to help me with this.
Kururugi: No, it's fun! I'm glad to help you.
Shippo: I want to become much stronger. Strong enough to protect you
and the others. I can't be a little demon forever.
Kururugi: You're great Shippo! You want to change things about
yourself, and you are actually doing it. If you'd like, I can always
help you.
Shippo: Thank you. You're the only one I can ask.
Kururugi: You're welcome. You know what, Shippo? It makes me very happy
that you can ask me that. Thank you!
Shippo: Why are you saying thank you? I'm the one that's supposed to be
thankful.
Kururugi: You're right. Let's keep going.
Scene 8 (Riding on a pink ball thing)
[Kururugi and Shippo are out by a house]
Kururugi: The sky is so beautiful! Shippo, let's go for a walk!
Shippo: You're such a child! I guess I'll go with you.
[the next scene has Kururugi and Shippo looking over mountains]
Kururugi: What a great feeling! It's been ages since I've been able to
just stare at the sky.
Shippo: Yes, it really is a beautiful sky!
Kururugi: Look at the fork tailed kite way up there! It must feel so
good!
Shippo: What? Do you like high places?
Kururugi: I guess I do on a beautiful day like this.
Shippo: Really... I know! I'll take you to that place! Transform!
[the next scene is a still shot of Kururugi on top of Shippo in his
ball form]
Shippo: How is it? It's high isn't it?
Kururugi: Wow! It's amazing! But aren't I heavy, Shippo?
Shippo: N-not at all! I'll carry you any time you like!
Kururugi: Shippo's face is all red. He's trying so hard. Thank you so
much! I won't ever forget you, Shippo!
Chapter 2
Female Kururugi
Inuyasha (2.1)
Scene 1 (Herb hunting)
[Kururugi and Inuyasha are by a house]
Kururugi: Inuyasha, can you please help me?
Inuyasha: With what?
Kururugi: I'm looking for a certain herb. Can you help me find it with
your nose? It has a peculiar smell.
Inuyasha: Is that right. What a pain in the butt. Fine, I'll help you.
[Kururugi and Inuyasha walk out of the scene]
[the next scene has Inuyasha looking through plants with Kururugi
behind him]
Kururugi: Can you find it?
Inuyasha: ... Be patient. I can kind of smell it. [he then begins
sniffing around]
Kururugi: Ha ha ha. He's very serious about this. [Kururugi then turns
around and sees something] Huh? Hey, wait a minute... [Kururugi then
walks over to the grass behind Inuyasha] Um... actually... [Kururugi
then turns around to Inuyasha] Inuyasha!
Inuyasha: Don't bother me. I said I'm looking for it!
Kururugi: Sorry. ... but I found it.
Inuyasha: [he turns around to look at Kururugi] What?
Kururugi: Sorry, about that. Thank you though.
Inuyasha: [he walks over to Kururugi] What a waste of time! Well, I'm
glad you found it. But it really doesn't smell like much, from here.
Kururugi: Yes, you have to squish it first. See?
Inuyasha: Let's see. Huh!!!
[a still frame is shown of Inuyasha holding his nose]
Kururugi: What's wrong?
Inuyasha: You fool! Get that away from me!
Kururugi: But it smells good.
[exit the still frame. Inuyasha moves away from Kururugi]
Inuyasha: It doesn't matter, just take it and go away. Now! [They then
run off the screen]
Scene 2 (Demon hunting)
[Kururugi and Inuyasha are by a house]
Kururugi: Inuyasha, what are you gonna do today?
Inuyasha: There's been a lot of demons around here lately. I think I'll
go check out the woods.
Kururugi: You're gonna look for demons on our day off?
Inuyasha: Do the demons have the day off? Anyway, you've gotten pretty
strong. You'll have no problem if one or two small demons show up.
[Inuyasha walks off]
Kururugi: It has nothing to do with that. You really don't understand
how a girl feels, do you? [Kururugi then follows Inuyasha]
[Kururugi and Inuyasha are out in the forest]
Kururugi: I hope we don't see any. [they then continue walking] Hey,
Inuyasha?
Inuyasha: [he turns to face Kururugi] What?
Kururugi: You're half-demon, right?
Inuyasha: Why are you asking me that now?
Kururugi: Well, because, I'm not even a little bit scared of you.
Inuyasha: Are you making fun of me? [Myoga then hops on]
Kururugi: No. Not at all.
Kururugi: What should we do today?
Inuyasha: The weather is great today! I think I'll go for a walk in
the woods. You can do whatever you want. [he then walks off with
Kururugi going after him]
Kururugi: Whatever I want, huh? [Kururugi then goes after Inuyasha]
Wait a minute, Inuyasha!
[the scene then switches to a lake in the forest]
Kururugi: Inuyasha, do you...
Inuyasha: Huh?
Kururugi: [Kururugi then looks toward the lake] How do I say it?
Inuyasha: What is it? You're making me feel weird. Just say it.
Kururugi: [Kururugi turns to Inuyasha] Okay, I will.
Inuyasha: Just spit it out.
Kururugi: Inuyasha, you know Kagome...
Inuyasha: Huh?
[a still shot is shown of Inuyasha blushing about it]
Kururugi: Uh...
Inuyasha: Kagome? What about Kagome
Kururugi: Well, do you...
Inuyasha: Uhmm...
[the scene switches back to normal]
Kururugi: ... Oh, never mind! [Kururugi then runs off]
Inuyasha: Grrrr... You can't do that!! [he runs after Kururugi]
Scene 4 (Sword practice)
[Kururugi and Inuyasha are by a house]
Kururugi: What should we do today?
Inuyasha: I'm going into the woods to exercise. I've got to be prepared
for when we fight Naraku.
Kururugi: Wow, you're really diligent. [they then start walking off]
Wait a minute, Inuyasha!
[the next scene is in a clearing with Inuyasha swinging around the
Tetsusaiga]
Inuyasha: Hmph? Why are you staring at me? Am I really such an unusual
half-demon?
Kururugi: Huh? Oh... no... It's not that... I mean... Yeah... no...
Inuyasha: Then why do you keep staring?
Kururugi: Um... well... you see... uh... oh... it's... Yes, it's that.
Inuyasha: [he walks over to Kururugi] That's right. You came from the
same place as Kagome.
Kururugi: Yes. When I see it, I realize I'm a long way from home.
Inuyasha: Hmmm.
[a still frame is shown of Inuyasha holding the Tetsusaiga]
Inuyasha: Would you like to hold it?
Kururugi: Really? Is that okay? But...
Inuyasha: No buts! Just take it!
Kururugi: Huh! This is kinda scary!
[back to the normal shot]
Inuyasha: What are you so afraid of?
Kururugi: I've never held such a sharp sword before. I might get hurt.
Inuyasha: Such a baby! Ha ha ha.
Kururugi: Stop it! What was I thinking about? Inuyasha, you made me
lose my concentration!
Scene 5 (Butterflies)
[Kururugi and Inuyasha are out by a house]
Kururugi: Hey, Inuyasha, let's go for a walk. The breeze feels so nice
today!
Inuyasha: Alright. Let's go to the field in the woods.
Kururugi: Okay! [they then walk off the scene]
[Kururugi and Inuyasha are in a field of flowers]
Kururugi: It's so nice here! So, beautiful! Hey, let's rest here for a
little bit.
Inuyasha: Good idea. [he then squats down]
Kururugi: I can't find the words to describe it, but it sure is nice.
Inuyasha: Really? There isn't much of anything here.
Kururugi: That's why it's so nice. 'Cuz there's nothing here! You
wouldn't understand the subtle delicateness of a woman's sensitivity.
Inuyasha: Deli-what? Is it strong?
Kururugi: It's not about strength.
Inuyasha: I don't get it.
Kururugi: Never mind. Just sit there and relax.
Inuyasha: I really don't get you. Huh?
[a still frame is shown of Inuyasha looking at a butterfly]
Kururugi: What is it, Inuyasha? Oh! A butterfly! Oh, wow, it's been a
while since I've seen once. There's another one!
Inuyasha: There's even more. Look over there!
Kururugi: Oh yeah. They look like they get along.
Inuyasha: ...
Kururugi: ...
Inuyasha: Yeah, so?
[the scene goes back to normal]
Kururugi: Huh? Um, so... It's really nice here, isn't it?
Inuyasha: Huh? Oh, yeah it is.
Kururugi: It's really nice.
Scene 6 (Inuyasha's bath time)
[Kururugi and Inuyasha are outside by the house]
Kururugi: Hey, Inuyasha! Will you go to the river with me? I wanna do
some laundry.
Inuyasha: Laundry? What a bother!
Kururugi: Don't you feel yucky wearing dirty clothes?
Inuyasha: Fine, I'll go with you. [Kururugi and Inuyasha exit the
scene]
[they're now at a bridge over a river]
Kururugi: Huh. I finally finished washing the laundry. Hey, Inuyasha,
do you want to hang out here for a little longer?
Inuyasha: Huh? Oh, whatever's fine with me.
Kururugi: Sweet! It's been ages since I've had a bath. I'm all stinky
and sweaty! And my hair is all tangled.
Inuyasha: What? You're gonna have a bath here? I think it's still
pretty cold.
Kururugi: That's okay. A little bit of cold is alright. It's better
than staying like this! Why don't you take a bath too, Inuyasha? You
kinda stink!
Inuyasha: Really? Okay, I'll take one too.
Kururugi: Hey, don't come over here! You go over there!
Inuyasha: Oh, be quiet. Alright, alright. [he then walks out of the
scene]
[the scene turns black]
Inuyasha: Gosh!
Kururugi: You're not peeking, are you, Inuyasha?
Inuyasha: No.
Kururugi: Inuyasha?
Inuyasha: What?
Kururugi: You really aren't peeking, are you, Inuyasha?
Inuyasha: No, I'm not peeking.
Kururugi: Inuyasha?
[the scene now shows a still frame of Inuyasha without the top half of
his outfit knee deep in the river]
Inuyasha: Stop asking me over and over! I'm not!
Kururugi: Hey! You are peeking! You moron!
Inuyasha: You're the moron! It's only 'cuz you were nagging me about
it.
Kururugi: Moron! Just look over there! Sleazy pervert!
Scene 7 (Naptime)
[Kururugi and Inuyasha are out by the house]
Kururugi: Hey, Inuyasha, do you wanna go for a walk?
Inuyasha: Oh, why all of a sudden... It's our day off. I wanted to take
a nap.
Kururugi: But, it's such a beautiful day! We don't want to waste it!
Inuyasha: Fine. I'll go with you. [Kururugi and Inuyasha walk off]
[they appear at a clearing in the woods]
Inuyasha: Hey!
Kururugi: What?
Inuyasha: Let's rest for a bit. I didn't sleep well last night.
Kururugi: What a big yawn! Okay, let's go rest by that tree.
Inuyasha: Ahhhh...
[the scene then turns to Inuyasha sleeping by the tree with Kururugi
standing over him]
Kururugi: Inuyasha? hey, Inuyasha! Hey, move over, Inuyasha. You're
heavy.
Inuyasha: Huh?
Kururugi: What? Is he asleep already?! And it's finally just the two of
us. And he looks so relaxed. I look stupid sitting here all nervous.
.. He really looks like he's sleeping soundly. I know! I'll doodle on
his face! Ha ha ha...
[the still shot now shows Inuyasha sleeping with swirls drawn into his
face]
Kururugi: A masterpiece! Ha ha ha ha...
Inuyasha: Hm? Be quiet! Uaah... You woke me up! What are you laughing
at?
Kururugi: Ha ha ha, so cute! Ha ha ha!!!
Inuyasha: What? Did you eat something strange?
Kururugi: Ha ha ha ha... Ha ha ha ha... Ah, my tummy hurts!
Kururugi: How is a weak girl like me supposed to get up there?! Geez.
Inuyasha: Do I have to do everything for you? Ehh. Ehh.
[Inuyasha then drops down to Kururugi, the screen fading to black]
Kururugi: Huh? Wait, what are you doing? Let go! I mean, just ask me
first!
Inuyasha: Be quiet, or you might bite your tongue. [a sound is heard of
him jumping up]
Kururugi: Aaaahh! I'm scared! Let me down!
Inuyasha: You're okay now. Open your eyes. The view is wonderful!
Kururugi: Huh...
[the scene then shows them on top of the branch looking over the
village]
Kururugi: Wow, it really is! Aaah!
Inuyasha: Hey, watch your step!
Kururugi: Okay. [Kururugi turns to Inuyasha] Am I really alone with
Inuyasha right now? And to be held...
Inuyasha: So, do you like it? It's a good place to think.
Kururugi: [Kururugi turns back to the view] Yes, I feel great! Thank
you, Inuyasha!
Kagome (2.2)
Scene 1 (Cooking)
[Kururugi and Kagome are outside of a house]
Kururugi: What are you going to do today, Kagome?
Kagome: Well, no one's been eating very well lately. So I was thinking
I could make a good meal
Kururugi: Wow, Kagome! It's so nice of you to think about everyone's
health. You're like a mom!
Kagome: I can't cook anything too fancy. Can you get some potatoes and
onions from the garden? I'll get things ready while you do that.
Kururugi: Okay. I'll go get 'em now! [Kururugi then runs off]
[the next scene is in the house]
Kururugi: Kagome, here's the onions and potatoes. I found some carrots
too.
Kagome: [she turns to Kururugi] Perfect! Do you think you could help me
a little bit?
Kururugi: Yes, I can. Oh, you're making a bento box!
[the still shot shows Kagome surrounded by vegetables, fish, and a
boiling pot while holding a wooden spoon]
Kagome: Yes. I think we're going to be traveling pretty far tomorrow.
Kururugi: You're really good at that! Wow!
Kagome: Ha ha ha. Oh, it's nothing. Now, why are you just standing
there? Come and help me.
Kururugi: Sorry. I was just admiring your cooking ability.
Kagome: First you can peel the potatoes!
Kururugi: These? Okay, leave it to me! Ouch! I cut my finger!
Kagome: Oh no! Do you need a band aid? Hey, there's hardly any potato
left. You're kind of clumsy, huh?
Kururugi: Actually, I don't really know how to do this. My mom does it
all at home.
Kagome: Huh?
Scene 2 (Archery practice)
[Kururugi and Kagome are out by the house]
Kururugi: Huh? What's the bow for?
Kagome: I thought I would practice a little. I won't get any better if
I don't.
Kururugi: I'll come too! [they then walk out of the scene]
[the next shot has Kagome shooting an arrow, then a still shot of her
holding her bow, ready to shoot]
Kururugi: You look pretty normal to me right now. But you're always
really strong when you need to be. Why's that?
Kagome: I don't even understand it myself.
Kururugi: Can I try it, too?
Kagome: Have you used a bow and arrow before?
Kururugi: Leave it to me! Once, the captain of the archery team...
..was sitting to the side and back of me.
Kagome: Ugghh!!
Kururugi: Wow! You need more strength than I thought.
Kagome: Yes. Are you okay?
Kururugi: I'm okay! Never mind. So as I was saying, he was sitting to
the side and back of me.
Kagome: That's enough now.
Kururugi: The arrow's loose!
Kagome: Hey, don't point it towards me!
Kururugi: I see! Where the guy is professing his love.
Kagome: Yeah, he's very stereotypical, but I just can't help being
envious!
Kururugi: I guess you like to daydream a lot, don't you Kagome?
Kagome: By saying that it sounds like you're saying I'm an idiot!
Kururugi: Ha ha ha. Sorry, sorry! It's alright! You're a romantic!
Kagome: Hey, don't make fun of me!
Scene 4 (Trying out a different outfit)
[Kagome is shown inside a house talking to Kururugi off screen]
Kagome: Hey, I wanted to ask you before, but your school uniform is a
jacket, isn't it?
Kururugi: [Kururugi then walks into the scene] Yes, it is.
Kagome: Huh?
Kururugi: What?
Kagome: We have the sailor style uniforms, so I'm jealous of you.
Kururugi: Really? I like the sailor style better.
Kagome: Hmmm. Oh yeah! Can I borrow that for a minute?
Kururugi: What?
Kagome: Your jacket. I wanna try it on. Please!
Kururugi: Sure, why not?
[the screen fades to black, then shows Kagome wearing Kururugi's school
uniform]
Kagome: How do I look? Do I look good?
Kururugi: It looks good! But not as good as on me!
Kagome: That's all you have to say? Fine, I won't give it back to you.
Kururugi: No, I'm joking.
Scene 5 (Kagome's bath time)
[Kururugi and Kagome are outside by a house]
Kagome: I'm going to the river to wash laundry. Do you want to help me?
Kururugi: Sure, it's such beautiful weather today! It'll be fun to do
the laundry! C'mon, let's go! [they then walk off the scene]
[they're now standing on a bridge over a river]
Kururugi: Wow, the water is beautiful! Hey, Kagome, it's been a while
since we've had a bath. Do you want to? [she turns to look at Kagome]
Kagome: Good idea!
[the scene goes black]
Kururugi: Huh? It's a little cold!
Kagome: Really? Aha!
Kururugi: Aaaaah. Hey, Kagome! Don't do that!
Kagome: Oh. It really is cold, huh.
Kururugi: Hey, Kagome, I'm not your guinea pig!
Kagome: Ha ha ha. Yeah, but I hate cold water!
Kururugi: You're awful! I'll get you!
[the scene then goes to a still of Kagome in the river covering her
body]
Kagome: Aaaaaaaaah, it's cold! So cold!
Kururugi: Here's a taste of your own medicine! Take that!
Kagome: You did it again! I'll get you back!
Kururugi: Hey!
Kagome: Ha ha ha! Take that and that!
Kururugi: Ha ha ha! Hey! Hey!
Kagome: Huh!
Kururugi: What's wrong, Kagome?
Kagome: Our clothes are all wet!
Kururugi: Ah... They're soaking.
Scene 6 (Playing with flowers)
[Kururugi and Kagome are out by a house]
Kururugi: What are you going to do today, Kagome?
Kagome: Let's go for a walk in the forest.
Kururugi: Okay. I'll go get ready!
Kagome: You're taking snacks again! You're gonna get fat!
There'sa light
over there. [she then runs off]
Kururugi: Hey, Kagome! Wait! Where are you going? [Kururugi then
follows after her]
[the scene now goes to a field of flowers]
Kagome: Wow! It's so beautiful!
Kururugi: Who knew there was a place like this around! Is this the
light we saw earlier?
Kagome: The whole field of flowers is glowing slightly. It must be
filled with the memory of someone or perhaps some kind of god lived
here. [she then kneels down]
Kururugi: Huh? [Kururugi turns to look at Kagome] The memory of
someone... I wonder who's thinking about me?
[the still shot turns to Kagome kneeling on the grass wearing a crown
of flowers]
Kagome: Here. They're so pretty, I just had to make one.
Kururugi: Wow! A flower crown! I haven't seen one of these in ages!
Kagome: It suits you! You look really cute!
Kururugi: I'll make one for you too. Wait a minute. Done! This one's
for you!
Kagome: Thanks! You're good at this, aren't you?
Kururugi: Ha ha ha ha. Yes, but I can't cook!
Scene 7 (Studying algebra)
[Kururugi and Kagome are inside a house]
Kagome: How far are you in math at school?
Kururugi: Huh? Oh, you're talking about before I got here?
Kagome: Yes.
Kururugi: I think we were learning algebra.
Kagome: Perfect! I think that's going to be in my next test, but it's
been ages since I've studied. Hey, do you think you could teach me?
Please, please, please?!
Kururugi: You don't have to beg! Of course, I will. Okay, I'll teach a
special class just for you!
Kagome: Thanks, teacher!
[the scene then goes to a still of Kagome looking over a schoolbook]
Kururugi: ...and it's kinda like that. Do you get it?
Kagome: Hmmm. I think I might have got it.
Kururugi: How can I explain it? I'm getting confused too.
Kagome: Ahuh. Oh, I got it! It's like this. Right?
Kururugi: Yes, Yes! You're so smart! You did it!
Kagome: Only 'cuz I have such a good teacher! I really didn't get it
until now. Thanks, teacher!
Scene 8 (Fixing up the bike)
[Kururugi and Kagome are outside by a house]
Kururugi: What are you going to do today, Kagome?
Kagome: I think I want to fix my bike.
Kururugi: I'll help you. And then we can go for a bike ride!
Kagome: Yes! [they then walk off the scene]
[the next scene has them at a hill]
Kururugi: What's wrong? Why do you look so down?
Kagome: Well, the bike has so many more scratches than I thought it
did. I used to use this bike to get to school. If it gets any worse, I
may not be able to ride it anymore...
Kururugi: I can see that Kagome thinks about the present too, and she
misses it sometimes. Come on, Kagome, get on the bike!
Kagome: Huh?
Kururugi: It doesn't matter, just get on!
Kagome: Okay.
[the still shot shows Kagome riding on her bike with Kururugi pushing
it along]
Kururugi: Alright, are you ready? Here we go!
Kagome: Ha ha ha ha! Ha ha ha. It's so fast!
Kururugi: Okay, here we go, a little faster! How is it, Kagome? Do you
feel better now?
Kagome: Yes! Thank you for being concerned!
Kururugi: You're welcome! And now, it's your turn to push!
Kagome: I'm a hundred percent better! Get on! Alright, here we go!
Kururugi: Hey, Kagome, you're going too fast!
Miroku (2.3)
Scene 1 ("Comforting" Kururugi)
[Kururugi and Miroku are out by a house]
Miroku: It's such good weather. Why don't we go for a walk?
Kururugi: Okay, Miroku.
Miroku: Well, then, let's go.
[the scene fades out, then into a forest path with them walking]
Miroku: So, like Kagome, you came from a different era.
Kururugi: Huh? Oh, yes.
Miroku: I can't imagine what it is like to travel through time. I
remember a time when I missed my home and had no one to rely on.
Kururugi: Miroku...
Miroku: Don't be sad. If you want to cry, you can cry on my shoulder.
[he then moves over to Kururugi]
[a still shot is shown of Miroku's face]
Kururugi: I don't really understand what you're saying, but I'm okay
for now. And Miroku, you're a little too close.
Miroku: This was unexpected. I am just doing this for you.
Kururugi: I'm fine, thanks.
Miroku: ...
Kururugi: Miroku is actually quite handsome.
Miroku: Oh yes...
Kururugi: What?
Miroku: I just remembered I have some sweet bean buns.
Kururugi: I can have one? Thank you, Miroku! Yummy!
Miroku: Is it good?
Kururugi: Yes it is! I guess Miroku is basically a good person. And
he's good looking too.
Miroku: I took them from the stone statue we just passed.
Kururugi: Huh!? You can't do that!
Miroku: Giving something to Buddha is the same thing as giving it to
me.
Kururugi: Okay.
Miroku: Rather than letting it go bad, it is much more beneficial to
take them.
Kururugi: Is that right? His actions are kind of dubious. If only he
didn't have these shortcomings.
[the scene fades out, then goes to Miroku and Kururugi walking down the
path near an old man's house]
Miroku: Actually, are you hungry?
Kururugi: Um, now that you mention it, I am a little.
Miroku: Okay, then... Um, could you close your eyes for a minute?
Kururugi: Y-yes. Like this?
Miroku: Just like that. Now turn right and go straight.
Kururugi: Okay. [Kururugi then walks up to the old man]
Miroku: Stop there and turn around. [Kururugi spins around a bit]
Kururugi: Like this? Oh, I'm getting dizzy. [Kururugi then drops to her
knees]
Mata: Oh, what happened?
Kururugi: [Kururugi stands up] Oh, nothing...
Play along.
Kururugi: Oh, he looks so cute with that naughty expression. What am I
thinking?
Miroku: Play along.
Kururugi: O-okay. I can't say no to a smile like that.
Miroku: Of course! Fortune telling is one of a monks' practices.
Kururugi: Really? Okay, here. [she holds out her hands]
[the scene fades to black]
Kururugi: Huh? He's holding my hand so tightly. Is that usual? But his
hands are so strong. I feel like he's not just reading my future, but
maybe I'm thinking too much. And... huh? Miroku, who are you talking
to? I can hear a bunch of girls' voices all of a sudden.
[the next scene is a still of Miroku giving palm readings to women all
around him]
Miroku: If you have a long life line, that means...
Kururugi: What are you doing, Miroku? Don't try to pick up girls by
reading my palm.
Scene 5 (Miroku the peeping tom)
[Kururugi and Miroku are out by a house]
Kururugi: It's such a beautiful day! Do you want to go for a walk?
Miroku: That's a good idea! Let's go.
[the scene fades out, then fades in to a river they walk over to]
Kururugi: Such beautiful water!
Miroku: What do you think of taking a bath here?
Kururugi: Yeah. It's been a while since I've had a bath.
Miroku: [Miroku walks over to her] Yes, keeping clean is the most
important thing for girls. I will make sure that no one comes to look
at you.
Kururugi: Miroku, you aren't planning on peeking, are you?
Miroku: N-no, I would never think to do that! I am a monk who serves
Buddha. I would never do that. I should tell Kagome about this place
too.
Kururugi: Yes. Oh, actually, I forgot something.
Miroku: Really. Okay, I'll go call everyone. [he walks out of the
scene]
[fade to black]
Kururugi: I don't think I can trust him. And why does he need to call
Kagome and everyone, if I'm here. Why am I mad? Anyway, he's sure
taking his time. Oh! Maybe!
[the next scene has a still shot of Miroku parting some tall grass]
Kururugi: I knew it! Perverted monk!
Scene 6 (About the Wind Tunnel)
[Kururugi is by the house by herself]
Kururugi: Where's Miroku? [Inuyasha walks onto the scene]
Inuyasha: What are you doing?
Kururugi: Hey, Inuyasha? Have you seen Miroku?
Inuyasha: I saw him at the edge of the forest.
Kururugi: Thank you. I'll go look there. [Kururugi then runs off]
[The next scene has Kururugi finding Miroku on a forest path]
Kururugi: Miroku!
Miroku: [he turns to Kururugi] What is it?
Kururugi: I heard your secret.
Miroku: My secret? What are you talking about?
Kururugi: The Wind Tunnel that's on your right hand. That it will grow
bigger and bigger. And that eventually, you'll be swallowed up by it.
Miroku: ...
Kururugi: So, it's true?
Miroku: Yes, it is. But, nothing of this world is forever. It's the
nature of everyone. What you do until the end. That is what matters.
Kururugi: Miroku, is that really how you feel? I don't want you to die.
I really don't.
[Miroku looks away, then it turns to a still shot of him looking out to
the sky]
Miroku: You're very intuitive. To be honest, I am scared of the Wind
Tunnel. Truly I am. It took me a long time to accept that.
Kururugi: Miroku...
Miroku: But I think that it is important to feel scared, frightened and
everything that your heart feels.
Kururugi: Yes. Miroku... I thought he was already enlightened, but he
still suffers inside himself.
Scene 7 (Riding above the clouds)
[Kururugi and Miroku are out by a house]
Miroku: How big and high! The sky is beautiful today!
Kururugi: Yes, it is.
Miroku: Would you like to hang out with me today?
Kururugi: What? Really?! Me? Uh... are you sure?
Miroku: I think you misunderstand me... Anyway, come this way. [they
then walk off the scene]
[the next scene is a still shot of Kururugi and Miroku riding on a
Hachi]
Kururugi: Wow! This is amazing! We're flying!
Miroku: It doesn't hurt to give the Hachi a rest.
Kururugi: Ha ha... Oh, it was for Hachi. I was kinda thinking it was
for me. Thank you Hachi. I feel really good. But, to be flying in the
sky with Miroku... I wish we could fly like this forever...
Sango (2.4)
Scene 1 (New look)
[Kururugi and Sango are inside a house]
Kururugi: Hey, Sango?
Sango: What?
Kururugi: Your hair is beautiful!
Sango: Huh? That's out of the blue. Is it really?
Kururugi: Yes! It really is. I mean, it's so long, but still so soft
and shiny.
Sango: I guess. Thank you.
Kururugi: [she walks over to Sango] I want beautiful hair like yours.
Sango: Huh? Hey, what are you doing?
[the scene then fades to black]
Kururugi: Hm? Something good! Don't move, Sango.
[the still shot has Sango's hair in a bun with Kururugi's hands holding
it up]
Kururugi: It looks good! What do you think, Sango?
Sango: Um... well... I don't really think it suits me.
Kururugi: What are you saying, Sango? Of course it suits you!
Sango: Really...
Kururugi: Yes. When Miroku looks at you he will surely fall in love
again.
Sango: That's stupid! Why'd you say that?
[Shippo walks over to her]
Shippo: What?
Kururugi: Hey, Shippo, have you seen Sango?
Shippo: Isn't she in the woods practicing like she always does?
Kururugi: Thanks! I'll go see. [Kururugi then runs off]
[the next scene has her catching up to Sango]
Kururugi: Sango?
Sango: You're here again. I'm not doing anything interesting.
Kururugi: Do you remember you were saying that you're just a regular
human being?
Sango: Yes.
Kururugi: Well, do you think if I practiced I could become like you?
Sango: Huh? Well, um...
Kururugi: Do you think I could?
Sango: Hmmm... Would you like to try to carry my Hiraikotsu?
Kururugi: Yes. Wow! Sure I'd love to!
Sango: Here, I'll hold this side.
[it fades to black]
Kururugi: Wow! It's heavy. Aaaaaaa!
[the next scene has Sango reaching out for Kururugi]
Sango: ...
Kururugi: I'm surprised at how heavy it is.
Sango: Ha ha. Now do you understand? Nothing is easy, not even getting
strong.
Kururugi: I'm going to try hard so I can be like you one day.
Sango: Yes. It's important to think that way.
Scene 4 (Kirara)
[Kururugi and Kirara are by a house]
Kururugi: Hey, Kirara? Are you by yourself? Where's Sango? [Kirara
meows] Do you want some dried fish? Here. Is it okay? H-hey, Kirara.
Where are you going? [Kirara runs off with Kururugi following behind]
[the next scene has Kirara and Kururugi in a clearing with Sango
entering the scene]
Sango: I was looking for you, Kirara.
Kururugi: Sango! [Sango walks over to Kirara]
Sango: What? Oh, thanks for feeding Kirara. You've made Kirara very
happy, I can tell.
Kururugi: Oh, it wasn't much. But, Kirara always know where you are,
doesn't she? She went running directly to you.
So
don't look like you're gonna cry.
Kururugi: Yes.
Sango: Kirara likes you. I've never seen her like anyone other than
Kohaku and I. I think we will get along fine.
Kururugi: How did she end up comforting me instead? Sango is so kind?
Scene 5 (Sango's bath time)
[Kururugi and Sango are out by a house]
Kururugi: Hey, Sango, do you wanna go for a walk?
Sango: The weather's beautiful! We should go to the river.
Kururugi: I agree.
[the scene fades out, then in to a river flowing past a bridge as
Kururugi walks onto the scene]
Kururugi: Wow! The water is beautiful! Hey, Sango. Let's take a rest
here.
Sango: Okay. It's been ages since we had a bath, shall we go bathing?
Kururugi: Sure.
[the still shot shows Sango covering herself in the river with her
Hiraikotsu some distance away]
Kururugi: Uh? Sango?
Sango: Huh? What is it?
Kururugi: You're going to go in the water with your Hiraikotsu?
Sango: Is that weird?
Kururugi: Ah... Yeah, it's a little weird. It's weird, 'cuz you're a
girl.
Sango: Really? But, I've had this with me since I was a little girl.
Kururugi: Hmm...
Sango: It's almost like a part of my body now.
Kururugi: I see. So, it's more than just a weapon for you.
Scene 6 (Sango's favorite field)
[Kururugi is by a house]
Kururugi: Where's Sango? [Kagome walks onto the scene] Hey, have you
seen Sango?
Kagome: She went towards the field.
Kururugi: Thanks. I'll go see. [Kururugi leaves the scene]
[the next scene is a still of Sango standing in a field of flowers]
Kururugi: Sango? Is that Sango? But, she looks so beautiful!
Sango: Beautiful, no?
Kururugi: Huh?
Sango: This is my favorite field of flowers. What do you think?
Kururugi: Yes, it's beautiful.
Am I?
Scene 7 (Riding on Kirara)
[Kururugi and Sango are by a house]
Sango: Yes. It's an especially good day today!
Kururugi: Yes. It's been a while since I've stared at the sky for so
long.
Sango: Come with me for a little while. You too, Kirara. [they walk off
the scene]
[the next scene has Kirara in monster form over the clouds while Sango
is in her battle outfit with Kururugi holding onto her]
Kururugi: Wow! This is amazing!
Sango: We're always going after demons, so it's good to relax
sometimes.
Kururugi: Yes, this is great! Thank you, Sango! But, we're not too
heavy for Kirara?
Sango: It's fine. Kirara says she's happy to fly freely again. It's
been a long time. Right, Kirara?
Kururugi: I didn't realize Sango could smile so much! But I guess,
she's about my age. Sango, even if I get to go back to my world, I will
never forget this day.
Sango: What? I can't hear you that well because of the wind.
Kururugi: I won't forget about you, Sango! I promise!
Sango: What are you saying? That's a given.
Shippo (2.5)
Scene 1 (Upsy-daisy!)
[Kururugi and Shippo are out by a house]
Shippo: What are you going to do today?
Kururugi: I'm going to pick herbs in the forest. Come with me, Shippo!
[the scene fades out, then into a forest path]
Kururugi: Shippo!
Shippo: What?
Kururugi: You should hold my hand, since we're going together.
Shippo: Don't be dumb! I don't wanna!
Kururugi: I wanna hold your hand, Shippo! See? It's fine. [Kururugi
kneels down to Shippo]
Shippo: No, it's stupid! What are you doing? Let go, let go!
Kururugi: Don't be shy! I know! See, up, up you go!
[the still shot is shown of Shippo being tossed into the air]
Shippo: What are you doing?
Kururugi: Shippo, you're as light as a doll! Okay, one more time! Up,
up you go!
Shippo: Whoaaaaa...! Ha ha ha ha.
Kururugi: There you go.
[the scene fades back out to Kururugi and Shippo]
Shippo: What, that's it? Boring.
Kururugi: Oh? You like it now? Okay, I'll do it again.
Shippo: Okay, let's see what you got!
Scene 2 (Candy)
[Kururugi and Shippo are by a house]
Kururugi: Hey, Shippo?
Shippo: What?
Kururugi: I have some leftover sweets. Do you want some?
Shippo: Um. No, no, thanks.
Kururugi: Why? You always like sweets. [Kururugi kneels down to Shippo]
Shippo: Aren't they the same lollipops that Kagome had?
Kururugi: Look, they're very good! See?
Shippo: N-no, I don't want any.
Kururugi: What's wrong?
Shippo: Only little kids want that kind of thing. I'm not a little kid
anymore.
Kururugi: He really does want it. I know... Smells so good! And it
looks really tasty.
Make sure to brush your teeth later.
Can I hold your hand again?
Shippo: W-what are you saying? Are you trying to embarrass me or
something!
Kururugi: Don't be shy! Come on, let's go!
[the scene fades out, then in to a clearing in the forest]
[the next scene is a still shot of Shippo holding an acorn]
Shippo: These acorns mix well with my magical power. This is my special
secret spot. I trust you. But don't tell anybody else.
Kururugi: Really? Thank you, Shippo?
Shippo: Moron! Don't slack off! Start picking them up!
Kururugi: Yes, yes. Okay.
Scene 4 (Transforming)
[Kururugi is by a house]
Kururugi: Where did Shippo go? [Kagome walks onto the scene] Do you
know where Shippo went?
Kagome: Shippo went towards the field.
Kururugi: Thanks. I'll go check. [Kururugi then exits the scene]
[the next scene has Kururugi crossing a bridge and sees Shippo hiding
behind a tree]
Kururugi: There you are! [Shippo then turns into Inuyasha] Hey, Shippo!
Huh? [Inuyasha walks over to her] Hey, Inuyasha, wasn't Shippo just
here?
Inuyasha: What?
Kururugi: Huh?
Inuyasha: Ha ha ha. How was that? [he then turns to Shippo]
Shippo: I totally tricked you!
Kururugi: So, it was you? When you change so suddenly, even though I
know it's you, it's really surprising!
Shippo: Of course! Transforming is my favorite magical power.
Transforming seems easy, but it really isn't. There's a lot to it.
Kururugi: Show me more!
Shippo: How's this? [he changes into Kagome]
Kururugi: Yeah! No matter how hard I look at you, you look exactly like
Kagome!
Shippo: Okay, here's the next one! [he changes into Miroku]
Kururugi: Wow! It's an exact likeness!
Shippo: It's hard to look like a ladies' man, but, what do you think?
Kururugi: Yeah, I guess.
Shippo: Next... [he changes into Sango]
Kururugi: Sango! Wow!
Shippo: Are you impressed? Okay, now... [he changes into Inuyasha]
Transform! [he changes into Kururugi] Transform! Transform! [now he
changes into a shorter looking Miroku] T-transform!
Kururugi: Hey, Shippo, your face is all red!
Shippo: Why can't I? Trans... form.
[the next scene is a still shot of Shippo in his pink ball form with
swirly eyes and sweat drops]
Shippo: Huh? I feel dizzy...
Kururugi: Aah! Shippo, are you okay?
Shippo: Ha ha ha. It, it was nothing. Was that interesting?
Kururugi: Yes, it was very interesting! But, you really didn't have to
try that hard.
Shippo: What? I wasn't trying hard at all.
Scene 5 (Lizard-kebabs)
[Kururugi and Shippo are by a house]
Kururugi: Hey, Shippo, should we have lunch soon?
Shippo: Sure. I'm okay, but you don't look good.
Kururugi: Yeah. You're very kind, Shippo. I can see that Shippo is
actually really hungry, too. By the way, you can have this. It's the
last snack that was in my pocket! [she kneels down to Shippo]
Shippo: Really? I can have it? You don't want any?
Kururugi: It's meant especially for you, Shippo!
Shippo: Thank you.
Kururugi: You're welcome!
Shippo: But I can't be the only one to get something special. In
exchange, you can have this!
[the next scene is a still shot of Shippo munching on a fried lizard on
a stick while holding one out for Kururugi]
Kururugi: Huh? A lizard? Yuck, I mean..
Shippo: Oh, you don't like 'em?
Kururugi: I'm sorry. No, I'll take it.
Shippo: Really! I have lots! Eat them all!
Kururugi: Th-thank you. Shippo will be disappointed if I don't eat it.
So I'll just close my eyes and plug my nose... It's so bitter! And so
gritty!
Scene 6 (Shippo's bath time)
[Kururugi and Shippo are by a house]
Shippo: What are we gonna do now?
Kururugi: The weather's good. Why don't we take a walk?
Shippo: Not much else I can do. I guess I'll go with you. [Shippo walks
off]
Kururugi: Look at you smiling. You actually do want to come! [Kururugi
walks off the scene]
[the next scene has Kururugi and Shippo looking over a lake]
Kururugi: Yah, what beautiful water! Hey, Shippo, it's been a while
since we've had a bath, why don't we take one here?
Shippo: Sure! It's fun to take a bath with someone! [Kururugi kneels
down to pick up Shippo] Hey! Nobody asked you to hang on to me.
Kururugi: But, it's deep in here, Shippo. It might be dangerous.
Shippo: That's stupid! How embarrassing! [he then begins to shake in
Kururugi's arms]
Kururugi: Hey, Shippo, settle down!
[the scene fades to black]
Shippo: It's alright! Let go! Whoa...!!
Kururugi: Oh no!
Shippo: Whoa...!! My feet can't reach the bottom.
[the next scene is a still shot of Shippo laid back on some rocks with
swirly eyes]
Kururugi: Huh! Shippo, hold on!
Scene 7 (Shippo's plans)
[Kururugi and Shippo are out by a house]
Shippo: Actually, I have a favor to ask you. Will you go over there
with me?
Kururugi: Sure, I guess so.
[the next scene is at a clearing, then to a still shot of Shippo
holding a tiny stick like it's a sword]
Kururugi: He looked so earnest, so I was a little worried about what he
was going to ask. But he just wanted to practice with me.
Shippo: Sorry you had to help me with this.
Kururugi: No, it's fun! I'm glad to help you.
Shippo: I want to become much stronger. Strong enough to protect you
and the others. I can't be a little demon forever.
Kururugi: You're great Shippo! You want to change things about
yourself, and you are actually doing it. If you'd like, I can always
help you.
Shippo: Thank you. You're the only one I can ask.
Kururugi: You're welcome. You know what, Shippo? It makes me very happy
that you can ask me that. Thank you!
Shippo: Why are you saying thank you? I'm the one that's supposed to be
thankful.
Kururugi: You're right. Ha ha ha. Let's keep going.
Scene 8 (Riding on a pink ball thing)
[Kururugi and Shippo are out by a house]
Kururugi: The sky is so beautiful! Let's go for a walk!
Shippo: You're such a child! I guess I'll go with you.
[the next scene has Kururugi and Shippo looking over mountains]
Kururugi: What a great feeling! It's been ages since I've been able to
stare at the sky.
Shippo! It
feels so good!
Shippo: Hey don't hold on so tight all of a sudden!
Kururugi: Come on, it's okay! 'Cuz I really like you!
Shippo: I guess you can't help it. Hey! We're going to fly even higher!
Hold on!
