Intro

Welcome to my first, FAQ, the Rare Items Guide for .Hack Mutation. Note that I
won't be covering items from .Hack Infection. That guide was done by
PsionicWyrm and it covers everything you need to know from that installment.
If you're still looking for items from .Hack Infection I recommend that
excellent guide. Now onto the .Hack Mutation Rare Items FAQ.
This Guide assumes you know how to Data Drain. If you don't.. I recommend
learning.

It is found by completing Sanjuro's Sword Quest, I assume that you have to get
his affection levels up to do this. If you do this quest however Sanjuro takes
the sword from you as soon as you find it, and gives you Blades of Bond. So
only he can have this sword to my knowledge.

Chinese Food - Again the address for this item is found on the DVD but you
actually use it in Mutation.
It can be found at: Lambda Capricious Unending Corridor
BL Yokohama - I'm not sure exactly where the address for this one is
supposed to be. Appearently some manga we don't have access
to in the states. However the item is in the Gott Statue
of Lambda Bottomless Soul Kaleidoscope. It increases your
Water Element by 3.

Having trouble finding some of the monsters?
Many of the monsters containing rare weapons can be found in the bonus dungeon
you get for defeating the game Theta Bitter Fantasy Mirror World
This includes:
House Golem (Laevateinn)
Wandering Demon (Rod of Pattern)
King Worm (Buriedo)
Anglomore (Crimson Raid)
I'm also aware that the Imp Badge like item that Martina R will give you isn't
listed here. I probably won't go to the trouble of defeating her until the
next game, much like I did with the original Martina. However if you need to
know, when you wear all the Goblin Armor with it you can summon Lvl 2 Goblin.
Which according to the boards is very amusing to watch and does a
lot of damage.

Please stop emailing me about the Ceramic Helm. I know where it is. However it
won't be covered in this FAQ because it's an Infection Item. Thank you to
those who did and I didn't respond to. But by then I'd already gotten a ton
of email about it.
Note: I will not answer questions related to this game. There's already a
walkthrough posted, and the game is pretty straightforward. I've told you
where to find every rare item I'm aware of and what areas I found the monster
in question on. I'm sure they appear in other areas though I'm not going to
create a list of "Where to find Harpy Queen" they're too common.
