Plans for future updates

I think I have uploaded all the combination moves [hopefully].Hope to
fix more grammar error,and certain moves' info,trying to make them as
accurate as possible.Still have not add rating for certain moves[yet to
learn them >.< ,if you are wondering why I can list them here before I
am able to get it, all infos are provided by Monica ]

**Word from the author: This is my first faq, I did make some
translation for combination moves below, my kanji is not too good , but
I am trying to make the translated moves as accurate as possible. And I
know there are so much errors I did made in this faq, if you find it out
and able to email me, I will be very grateful to you. Certain
translation of moves aren't accurate enough, if you more accurate names
for them and able to email me,your name will be in the credit list. All

Section 1 : Single person technique

NOTE: ^_^ [please read them before you read further]
Below are the single technique of the characters ,I am not going to give
details of them because there is already a faq listing them. My faq will
only shows them because there might be different translation for certain
moves used in my combination faq....I might rewrite them in the future if
I have more time.I am trying to make the name of the moves as short as
possible though. If I found moves that are similar with certain
techniques in the previous Grandia series, I will rename them with the
name of those moves in previous Grandias. That means, I am not going to
translate some moves ,in fact I am finding a more suitable name for
them.Hopefully this will not cause any incovenience to the readers ^_^;;

Section 2.1 2 Person Technique Combination
To learn combination move,you need to have learn the single technique of
the characters involved in a combination. Afterthat you should trigger
the one of the combination techniques when their markers are near each
other in the battle gauge[1p gauge].Of course you also need to have
enough SP.If u find more duel combination move that is not listed below,
please email them to me at [email protected] ^_^

Tips for viewing my faq: [the moves will be written as the format below]

Moves' name (rating = *****)read Rating Guide
Characters = characters and their moves that involved in the combination
Used SP = required SP to perform the move
Area = range of the move
Power Level = damage level of the moves
Additional effect/Description= short description and infos of the move

**** HERE is a little extra about my opinion of the move's animation
[not the usefulness ].This might be totally useless for certain people.
But since grandia Xtreme is such a cool game and has a lot of AWESOME, I
mean really awesome moves ,hopefully this will be some extra stuff in my
faq.You can ignore these rating if you want,since my faq mainly focus on
informations on the techniques,not animation.

True Lightning Slash ( *** )
Characters= Evann (Thunder Split) , Titto ( Sky blade )
Used SP = 38
Area = single enemy
Power Level = 18
Additional effect/Description = A very good and cool looking combination
move by Evann and Titto, paralyze, CANCEL effects ,quite a useful move.
Evann unleashes lightning from his sword, Titto jumps up and charge the
lightning in his body, then jump down at enemy with tremendous speed
And causing huge electric damages on enemy.

Thunder Sword ( **** )
Characters= Evann ( Sky Dragon slash ) , Brandol (Great flaming cut)
Used SP = 60
Area = all enemies
Power Level = 15
Additional effect/ Description = Evann unleashes lightning from his
sword,Brandol doing a 'thunder'version of sky dragon slash on the
ground by stabbing the electrical charged big sword on the earth.
Lightning elemental.Paralyze effects.Sp consume is abit too high.

Cross Break ( * )
Characters= Evann ( X slash ) , Jaid ( Blaster Bomb )
Used SP = 15
Area = single enemy
Power Level = 9
Additional effect/Description = both Evann and Jaid run to enemy and
doing a deadly slash on a enemy ,you should be able to get this pretty
early in the game. CANCEL effect.

Sword Dance ( ** )
Characters= Evann ( X slash ),Carmyne ( Smash )
Used SP = 21
Area = single enemy
Power Level = 9
Additional effect/Description = another combination technique, Evann and
Carmen doing a 6 hits combo sword slashes towards the enemy. CANCEL
effect.

Double Dragon dances (*)
Characters= Evann ( Thunder Split ) , Lutina ( Shooting Star Sword )
Used SP = 28
Area = single enemy
Power Level = 12
Additional effect/Description = A neat Looking move where Evann and
Rutina doing a smooth 8 hits attack to an enemy, CANCEL effect. Sp
consume is low ,damages also quite low.Good when you wish to cancel
boss' deadly technique.

Thunder God Break (**)
Characters= Evann ( Thunder Split ) , Ulk ( Spinning Attack )
Used SP = 24
Area = single enemy
Power Level = 9
Additional effect/Description = lightning elemental , striking the enemy
using the Holy light of the Thunder ,CANCEL effects. Evann doing a few
combos on enemy, after that Ulk continues by doing the final deadly
smack .

True Icicle Sword ( **** )
Characters= Brandol ( Forward Lower Cleave ),Myamm ( Freezing Shot )
Used SP = 36
Area = single enemy
Power Level = 18
Additional effect/Description = This is probably one of the coolest
looking combination move.Myamm summons icicles,and Brandol jumps up
And charges the ice in his sword,thus making his whole body become blue
,and storm towards the enemy with a huge gigantic ice berg with the ice
energy charged in his sword,after that he breaks the ice berg into
pieces and doing damage on enemy.Ice elemental ,CANCEL effect.

True Red lotus Sword ( *** )
Characters= Carmyne ( Smash ) , Jaid ( Fist Bust )
Used SP = 35
Area = single enemy
Power Level = 18
Additional effect/Description = Carmyne charges fire in her sword while
Jaid passes a great flame to Carmyne resulting Carmyne busting through
the enemy with flaming sword. Fire elemental, CANCEL effect

Flame Tornado ( ** )
Characters= Jaid ( Fist Bust ), Ulk ( Hard Tough Strike )
Used SP = 55
Area = all enemies
Power Level = 18
Additional effect/Description= explosive flame burns enemies to the
hell,fire elemental.

Flying Sword Cutting ( * )
Characters= Brandol ( Spinning Cut ) ,Titto ( Sky blade )

Area = single enemy

Additional effect/Description= a move where two person unleash fast and
smooth sword techniques on an enemy,5 hits with CANCEL effects

Flame Strike ( * )

Additional effect/Description = Two person have flame on their
weapon,slashing the enemy for a few times. CANCEL effect.

Additional effect/Description= Two person strike at enemy with their

Double Spinning Attack (**)

Additional effect/Description=Jaid start a first deadly hit followed by
5 spinning combo hits from Lutina and causing a 6 hit attack,CANCEL

Additional effect/Description= Pierce through the enemy for a few times
with fast speed. CANCEL effect.

Sky Slashing Blast (*)
Characters= Titto ( Sky Blade ) , Lutina ( True Rising Dragon Cut )

Additional effect/Description = a sky breaking technique,wind
elemental,5 hits, CANCEL effect.

Flying Swallow Strike (*)
Characters = Evann ( X slash ), Myamm ( Spinning Attack )

Additional effect/Description= Hitting the enemy for 7 hits. CANCEL
effect

Heaven & Earth Cut (*)

Additional effect/Description = Two person hit the enemy with full
strength and causing a 2 upper and lower hit combination move. CANCEL

Additional effect/Description = Two person believe in each other in
hearts thus this technique is born. CANCEL effect

Bringing Dust ( **** )
Characters = Myamm ( Freezing Shot ), Lutina ( Sparkling Heaven Cut )

Area = All enemies
Power Level = 12
Additional effect/Description = Myamm passes some cold air and form a
ice wheel around Lutina, while Lutina breaks the wheel of the ice
,freeing cold air and forming this technique, ice elemental.Another
very cool looking move.

Flying Icicle Cut (**)
Characters = Myamm ( Freezing Shot ), Carmyne ( Shockwave )
Used SP = 27
Area = single enemy
Power Level = 12
Additional effect/Description = Freezing heart breaking technique, Ice
elemental, CANCEL effect.

Holy Ray Missile ( ***** )
Characters = Carmyne ( Shockwave ), Lutina ( Sparkling Heaven cut )
Used SP = 48
Area = all enemies
Power Level = 12
Additional effect/Description = Carmyne charges a red energy and Lutina
charges blue energy on their fists,afterthat they launches the energy at
each other,making a two shining blue and red bullet storming at each
other,causing a huge explosion for huge damages. Quite a neat looking
move.

Resurrection ( ***** )
Characters = Myamm ( Recover Everyone~ ), Ulk ( Pray of the God tree )
Used SP = 30
Area = all allies
Power Level = --
Additional effect/Description = Recover all allies'Hp and status.Myamm
and Ulk combined force and making the new daybreak sun light shine upon
all allies.

Twin Shot ( ** )
Characters = Titto ( Discutter ), Myamm ( Spinning Attack )
Used SP = 25
Area = single enemy
Power Level = 12
Additional effect/Description = a quick and 10 hits shots of knifes and
arrows on enemy. CANCEL effect.

Burst Rondo [ Thanks to John from gamefaqs for this ]
Characters = Titto ( Shadow Surrounding ) , Jaid ( Fist Bust )
Used SP = 25
Area = single enemy
Power Level = 12
Additional effect/Description = two person summoning their hot burning
soul to attack enemy.8 hits, CANCEL effect.

Section 2.2 3 Person combination techniques
The following techniques are performed by 3 characters with their own
single techniques. It looks like most of the moves require the Main
character Evann to perform it

God Dragon Cut ( ***** )
Characters = Evann ( Sky Dragon Slash ),Brandol (Great flaming cut ),
Carmyne ( Rosen slash )
Used SP = 99
Area = all enemies
Power Level = 30
Additional effect/Description = 3 person combined their full force
breaking the earth making this final great move in this game. Absolutely
a great looking move but the SP consume is too expensive ,should be used
on bosses with multi parts as it will damage all parts of the bosses
greatly.
**this moves seems to be abit hard to learn,I have yet to find out the
requirement,but I learn the move when my characters reached level 30 and

Big Bang! Hammer ( **** )
Characters = Evann ( Spark Bolt ), Jaid (Titan knuckles),
Ulk (Hard Tough Strike)
Used SP = 55
Area = all enemies
Power Level = 18
Additional effect/Description =Furious flame burning all , Evann
,Jaid,Ulk 's final great move.Jaid casts fire on Evann and Ulk,making
them jumping high into the sky,and crushing toward the earth,causing
great explosion fire damage ,fire elemental.

Raining of Lights ( *** )
Characters= Evann ( Spark Bolt ), Titto ( Discutter ) ,
Lutina ( shooting star sword )
Used SP = 50
Area = all enemies
Power Level = 18
Additional effect/Description = Holy raining purify all the devils.
A very damaging move and great hits on enemy.Usually will do up from
2000 to 3000,with more than 15 hits.

Cursing World ( **** )
Characters = Evann ( Thunder Split ), Titto ( Shadow Surrounding )
Myamm ( Super Icicle Smashing )
Used SP = 75
Area = single enemy

Additional effect/Description = Freeze the action of all beings in the
World ,paralyze effect.

Apocalypse ( **** )
Characters = Brandol ( Great Flaming Cut ),Jaid ( Explosion ),
Ulk ( Great Spinning Throw )

Additional effect/Description = Destroy all things in the world causing
end of the world

Shining of Stars ( ***** )

Additional effect/Description = Three character praying sincerely for
the star, raise all parameters of all allies.

Force Reclaim

Additional effect/Description = this will do sooo little damage, but it
will lower all parameters of all enemies. Three person reclaim all the

Additional effect/Description = Three allies form attack enemies from

Additional effect/Description= Three person perform a 8 hits fire

Additional effect/Description = a technique where three person attack
the enemy with tempest cut .CANCEL effect. Wind elemental. Carmyne

shoots 3 hits arrow to enemy, and Evann runs up slashing the enemy for
the last hit, forming this 5 hits move.

Chaos Dancing Blast ( ** )

Additional effect/Description = 3 person doing sword dancing slashing
the enemies 12 times in a row. CANCEL effect.Doing quite some damages.

Purple Lightning

Ulk ( Screwing strike )

Additional effect/Description= Unleash vicious lightning power and
cutting the enemies.Lightning elemental and CANCEL effect.

as far as I see ,there are only two 4p combination attacks in the game.
If u found more ,feel free to tell me and I will give you a credit. All
characters in the game have a chance to take part in 4p tech except
Jaid.

TETRA COMBO attack
Characters = Evann ( Sky Dragon Slash ), Brandol ( Great flaming Cut )
Carmyne (Rosen Slash), Ulk ( Great Spinning Throw )

Additional effect/Description = 4 person combined force doing this
awesome ultimate 4p single enemy attack.16 HITS!! CANCEL effect.

Gathering Spikes

Myamm ( Frozen shot ),Lutina ( Shooting Star sword )
Used Sp = 32
Area = single enemy
Power Level = 27
Additional effect/Description = this one is not bad,4 person use their
maximum force and doing a 18HITZ! combination attack at enemy. Lesser
damage than TETRA COMBO attack but is easier to activate since all the
characters involved in this technique are fast. CANCEL effect
