THERE ARE A MILLION STORIES IN LIBERTY CITY. THIS ONE CHANGES EVERYTHING. ONCE
A TRUSTED WISE GUY IN THE LEONE CRIME FAMILY, TONI CIPRIANI WAS FORCED INTO
HIDING AFTER KILLING A MADE MAN. NOW HE'S BACK AND IT'S TIME FOR THINGS TO BE
PUT RIGHT.
The streets of Liberty City are in turmoil. Warring Mafiosi vie for control as
the town begins to self-destruct under waves of political corruption, organised
crime, drug trafficking and union strikes. No-one can be trusted as Toni tries
to clean up the mess of the city's chaotic underworld. Deraged hit men, morally
depraved tycoons, cynical politicians and his own mother stand in his way as
Toni tries to bring the city under Leone control.
Forced to fight for his life in an odyssey that will shake Liberty City to its
foundations, Toni must use any means necessary to secure his place in the
leadership of the Leone family in a town up for grabs.

This is a brief guide which will summarise all the necessary details regarding
the 20 rampages that are scattered throughout Liberty City.

/\/\ RAMPAGES GUIDE SECTION THREE /\/\
/\/\/\___________________________________________________________________/\/\/\
Rampages are timed tasks where you have to kill or destroy a certain amount
of set people/objects. The tasks usually consist of killing X number of
gang members. You are given a set weapon with unlimited ammo and have 2 minutes
to complete the task.
A rampage icon is a blue, rotating circle with a skull in it.
Also, you will receive an M60 outside your safehouse once you have completed
all 20 rampages.
The rampages themselves are split over the three islands in the following way:

I. Rampage 1

Location: Alleyway in Chinatown, Portland
Go north from the hospital and take the first left. Follow this road the
entire way along and make a left onto the dual carriageway. Take the second
left and go into the small alleyway immediately on your right.
Objective: Gun down 30 Triads in 2 Minutes
Weapon: AK
After starting in the alleyway, run out and take aim using the R button. Once
you have aim on a Triad, fire by pressing O. As soon as they die, tap left or
right to move to the next target. Repeat the process until the group is dead.
Once you have killed a group, run back into the alleyway and run out another
one of the exits. Take aim at another Triad and repeat the process for that
group. If you find yourself getting surrounded, then run away and turn back.
Immediately press R and tap O to kill the nearest one to you before killing
the group. The time is quite generous, so don't panic if you only have about
10 after a minute. Ideally, you should have around 13-17 by this stage. Once
you kill 30 Triads you pass the rampage.

II. Rampage 2

Location: Allotment in Saint Marks, Portland
Go north from your hideout and take a right followed by a left. Take the first
left before the garage and look in the allotment immediately on your left.
Objective: Burn 7 Vehicles in 2 Minutes
Weapon: Molotov Cocktails
Before starting this rampage, I recommend you steal about 4 cars and line them
up just outside the allotment. As soon as the rampage starts, stand back at
the wall and keep throwing the petrol bombs into the middle of the cars.
When one of the cars blows up, there will be a chain reaction. Furthermore,
a fire engine tends to appear whilst you are doing the rampage. Not only does
this give you an extra vehicle, but it also blocks traffic. As soon as the
fire engine stops, get your range right with regards to throwing the bombs and
aim them for the fire truck. As soon as you have blown up this lot, move on to
any vehicles stuck in traffic. Usually the drivers abandon the cars if you
throw a bomb at them, so as soon as you hit a car, just keep pressing O until
the car catches fire and blows up.

III. Rampage 3

Location: Alleyway in Saint Marks, Portland
Go north from the hospital and make a right turn. Follow this all the way to
the top of Saint Marks and go down the alleyway on the left (the one with the
arch entrance). Go in the first gap on the right to find the rampage.
Objective: Kill 25 Leone mafia in 2 minutes
Weapon: Shotgun
One of the key advantages the shotgun gives you in this particular rampage is
that it knocks down entire groups of the Leone mafia in no time. Go out and
on to the road in Saint Marks and run to the middle of the road. Stand there
and take aim at a group of the Leone mafia. Chances are one shotgun shot will
fell several. Now you have to hold R and keep pressing left and right in
between each shot with the O button. This will remove the entire group in no
time. After eliminating one group, simply look around you for another group
and repeat. If you can't find another group, then run down the street and you
will come across them. If you only see two mafia, then quickly aim for one and
the other to kill them before moving on to a larger, more profitable
(kill-wise) group. Once you have killed 25 Leone mafia, you pass the rampage.

IV. Rampage 4

Location: Grassy area to the north-east of the hospital, Portland
Go north from the hospital and take the first right. Go past the first
road and when you see the stairs on the right, stop the car. Get out and go
down a few before looking to your right to locate the rampage.
Objective: Run over 30 pedestrians in 2 minutes
Weapon: N/A
Get in the first car you can find that is going downhill. Now drive down
Saint Marks, past the hospital and across the grass into Trenton. Always be
on the footpath whilst in the car and you will have no difficulty in completing
this particular rampage.

V. Rampage 5

Location: Behind a building in Harwood (bordering on Hepburn Heights), Portland
From the hospital, go north and take the first left. Go all the way down to
the end before making a right. Follow this road around and when you come to
the radio station on your right, get out of the car. Look to the building you
passed before that and go down the left hand side to find the rampage.
Objective: Incinerate 25 Diablos in 2 minutes
Weapon: Flamethrower
This is also relatively easy. As soon as you regain control of Toni, run down
the hill into Hepburn Heights. Go on to the road and simply run between each
side of the road, letting the flames loose on the groups of Diablos who appear.
They don't fight back and will stand there until you fire. By that stage, you
should already have set them alight and you should have no bother eliminating
25 in 2 minutes.

VI. Rampage 6

Location: In an allotment in Chinatown, Portland
From the hospital, go north and take the first left. Go all the way down to
the end. Make a left and make an immediate left into the road that was running
parallel to the road you were just on. The rampage is in the allotment on
your immediate left.
Objective: Blow up 10 vehicles in 2 minutes
Weapon: Rocket Launcher
Before walking into the rampage, park your car across the street. When cars
are blocked, jump in two or three cars, simply to "vacate" them so that they
aren't going anywhere. Now run into the rampage to start it. Take your rocket
launcher and fire into the collection of cars that has amassed in front of you.
Stay where you are and as cars come by, simply fire at them to blow them up. If
the police come, then fire at their vehicles as well. You will lose your wanted
level upon completion of the rampage. When you blow up 10 vehicles, you
complete the rampage.

VII. Rampage 7

Location: Hospital, Staunton
This rampage is to the west of the hospital entrance (on the lower level down
the stairs).
Objective: Assassinate 30 Forellis in 2 minutes
Weapon: M4
This is can be extremely difficult. If you stay where the rampage is, you are
likely to be swarmed from all sides. Prior to walking into the rampage, have
a PCJ ready (facing towards the stadium). As soon as the rampage starts, get on
the PCJ and go to outside the stadium. Kill a few Forellis by holding R and
tapping left and right to switch between targets. When they start to get a bit
too close for comfort, get on the bike and head further down the road. Kill
them whilst they are running towards you. Keep repeating this until you
complete the rampage.

VIII. Rampage 8

Location: In Belleville Park, Staunton
Go into the park in Belleville and go to the island surrounded by water. The
rampage is on the island hidden in trees.
Objective: Murder 30 pedestrians in 2 minutes
Weapon: Shotgun
My advice is to run out on to the main road and stand in the middle of it. You
will inevitably have the police chasing you, so simply shoot them when they
come - hold in R and use the directional buttons to move between targets. When
you kill 30 pedestrians you complete the rampage.

IX. Rampage 9
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Location: In a doorway opposite Belleville Park, Staunton
Go west from your safehouse and make a left turn. Make a right turn on to
the pedestrian street. The rampage is in a doorway on your left.
Objective: Destroy 10 vehicles in 2 minutes
Weapon: Grenades
Go into the multi-storey car park and throw grenades at the parked cars.
Location: On the steps of the courthouse, Staunton
Go west from your safehouse and make a left turn. Follow the road forward until
you come to the main road leading on and off the Callahan Bridge. The
courthouse is across the street on your right. The rampage is at the top of
the steps.
Objective: Massacre 25 pedestrians in 2 minutes
Weapon: Chainsaw
Run into the crowds of people and hold O in order to kill a few in one swoop.
If there are no 'crowds' hanging around, then tap X to run forward and hold R
before hitting O to get a kill. Move quickly up and down the street outside
the courthouse to ensure you can kill enough before the 2 minutes expire.

XI. Rampage 11
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Location: In an underground car park opposite Phil's gun shop, Staunton
From Phil's gun shop, go north and east and you should see a set of stairs
to your right. Go down them to find the rampage behind the flowerbed in front
of you.
Objective: Burn 25 Yakuza in 2 minutes
Weapon: Flamethrower
Run up the stairs you've just came down and go straight to the groups of
Yakuza hanging around. Fire off some flames in their direction. Once you have
done this, don't wait for them to die but instead head to the next group of
Yakuza. Repeat this process. Like the diablo-burning rampage, they tend to run
away as opposed to shooting you. Run from one side of the road to the other,
firing flames in the direction of the groups. Once 25 Yakuza die, you complete
the rampage.

XII. Rampage 12

Location: In a flowerbed in the south of Staunton Island, Staunton
From the casino, go west and make the first left. Follow this road around and
take the third right. Go up the stairs and jump into the flowerbed to find the
rampage.
Objective: Run over 40 pedestrians in 2 minutes
Weapon: N/A
Jump in a vehicle and drive along the path on the main road. Keep to the
pavement and move along new roads. Don't double back on yourself but keep
going forward into new areas. There will be more pedestrians around this way.
After you run 40 over you complete the rampage.

XIII. Rampage 13

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Location: Just off the main road on the south-western side of Staunton Island,
Staunton
From the casino, go west and make a left. Follow the road the entire way
around until you are faced with the fourth right turn. Just before this, look
to the right and you should see the package.
Objective: Kill 30 Yakuza in 2 minutes
Weapon: Sawn off shotgun
The sawn off shotgun will kill two, three even four people with one shot. Run
up to a group of Yakuza and fire one shot into the group. Keep turning around
and tapping R whilst standing in the middle of the road. Once you get a
target, press O and you should take the entire group out. If you don't, then
let go of R and press it again to refocus on the Yakuza who survived. Once you
kill 30 Yakuza, you complete the rampage.

XIV. Rampage 14

Location: Around the back of a garage of a house in Cedar Grove, Shoreside Vale
Go east from your safehouse and make a right turn. Follow this road around and
go up the driveway of the first house on the right (not the one with the gate).
Walk behind the garage in front of you to find the rampage.
Objective: Run over 30 Colombian gang bangers in 2 minutes
Weapon: N/A
Jump in the Deimos parked on the other side of the garage from the rampage and
reverse down the driveway and on to the main road. Drive up and down the road
in front of the house (driving on the footpath obviously). You should have no
bother amassing 30 kills in this way. They tend to hang around in large groups,
so go ploughing in to them at speed and you will eliminate the entire group.
Once you run 30 over you complete the objective.

XV. Rampage 15
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Location: On the western most observation dome on the Cochrane Dam, Shoreside
Vale
Go west from your hideout and make a right. Take the first left and take the
second right on to the walkway. The rampage is on the right as you approach the
dome.
Objective: Massacre 35 pedestrians in 2 minutes
Weapon: Chainsaw
Stay in this particular area of the dam. Don't go out to the dam itself as you
will find the pedestrians are too far apart. Run around, tapping R and O to
kill people. If you see a group, just run towards them and press O as opposed
to tapping R. Due to the fact that you have stayed within the vicinity of the
dome, the pedestrians will spawn around and you won't have to run very far to
kill them. Once you have eliminated 35 pedestrians, you complete the rampage.

XVI. Rampage 16

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Location: Between two blocks of flats in Wichita Gardens, Shoreside Vale
Go west from your safehouse and make a left. Follow this road the entire way
around to Wichita Gardens. When you come to the four blocks of flats on the
left, the rampage is in between the first two.
Objective: Destroy 10 vehicles in 2 minutes
Weapon: Sawn off shotgun
When the cars stop at the traffic lights, shot them three times. This should
cause them to catch fire. If you are standing far enough back, then fire four
shots to make it blow up. After one car blows up, you should be able to cause
a chain reaction. Keep blocking car routes by standing in the route and then
shoot at the cars. Usually, the occupants get out and run away. Some drive off,
but most will simply abandon their cars. Destroy them and then look to the
road that the wreckage is blocking for more targets. When you blow up ten
vehicles you complete the rampage.

XVII. Rampage 17

Location: In the doorway of a flat in Wichita Gardens, Shoreside Vale
Go west from your safehouse and make a left. Follow this road the entire way
around to Wichita Gardens. When you come to the four blocks of flats on the
left, go to the second pair, and go to the north-west side. You should see the
rampage in the doorway near here.
Objective: Burn 40 pedestrians in 2 minutes
Weapon: Molotov Cocktails
Just run out to the pavement and throw the petrol bombs on to the pavement
on the other side and round the corner. There's no real strategy here, apart
from simply throwing them all over the place. You should notice your kill
count going up extremely quickly. Whenever you reach 40 pedestrians killed you
complete the rampage.

XVIII. Rampage 18

Location: In an allotment in Pike Creek, Shoreside Vale
Go east from the hospital and just after the first road there is a warehouse
on the left. Go in through the gap and the rampage is in front of you on the
right.
Objective: Blow away 25 Colombian gangsters in 2 minutes
Weapon: Sawn off shotgun
Run into the middle of the road and aim at the first group of Colombians you
see. One of the benefits of the sawn off shotgun is that it will eliminate
large groups quickly. After shooting the first group, keeping spinning around
using the analog stick. Tap R whilst you do it and when you take aim at a
Colombian, fire at them. Keep doing this until you amass 25 kills and complete
the rampage.

XIX. Rampage 19

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Location: On the hills surrounding Francis Intl. Airport, Shoreside Vale
Go east from the hospital and make a right. Go down this road and you should
see the package on the grassy mound ahead of you.
Objective: Snipe 25 pedestrians in 2 minutes
Weapon: Sniper Rifle
Look to the pavements and snipe what you can. If you see someone on a bike,
then snipe them as well as they count as a pedestrian. Look straight up the
road that runs to the north-west as the pedestrians are walking in relatively
straight lines giving you easier shots. After shooting someone, check the dead
bodies as pedestrians may have gathered to look at the body. When you snipe
25 pedestrians you complete the mission.

XX. Rampage 20

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Location: On a warehouse awning in Pike Creek, Shoreside Vale
Go south from the hospital and follow this road along. Ignore the right turn
and just after the right turn, on your left you should see an entrance into
a warehouse and allotment area. Drive through. In front of you should be a set
of stairs with a warehouse behind it. Drive up the stairs and you should land
on the awning.
Objective: Destroy 10 vehicles in 2 minutes
Weapon: Rocket Launcher
The first thing to do is immediately blow up the vehicle you came into the
allotment with. Now go to the north side of the awning and blow up any vehicles
that come this way. After a while, the vehicles may not come, so head over to
the south side and take out more vehicles. If they stop coming at both sides,
jump down and run out into the road. When you destroy 10 vehicles you complete
the rampage.
