Introduction:
Hey everyone, samthebigkid here. I'm a Godzilla fan. I noticed a lot of
people having trouble figuring out how to unlock everything, especially
because a lot of descriptions were too vague. So I made this guide to
help out everybody. Yay!

In this section, I basically tell you how unlock and buy each faction.
Faction: Earth Defenders
How to Unlock: Initially available
Cost: 0 (Initially Bought)
Initially available Monsters: Godzilla, Fire Rodan, Anguirus
Monsters to be Purchased: Mothra, King Caesar, Baragon, Varan,
Godzilla 1990's, Godzilla 1954
Faction: GDF (Global Defense Force)
How to Unlock: Initially Available
Cost: 5000
Initially available Monsters: Kiryu
Monsters to be Purchased: Mechagodzilla 2, Mecha King Ghidorah, Jet Jaguar,
MOGUERA
Faction: Aliens
How to Unlock: Initially Available
Cost: 12000
Initially available Monsters: Megalon, Gigan, King Ghidorah
Monsters to be Purchased: Mechagodzilla, Orga
Faction: Mutants
How to Unlock: In Story mode, obtain a power surge. To obtain a Power
Surge, beat any level that contains power surge crystals by defeating
the monster NOT DESTROYING THE CRYSTALS. Upon beating the level it
will say Power Surge Obtained and Mutant Fanction avaialble for
purchase.
Cost: 15000
Initially available Monsters: Destoroyah
Monsters to be Purchased: Biollante, SpaceGodzilla, Megaguirus, Krystalak,
Obsidius, Titanosaurus
As a quick hint, you know you're in the right level to
unlock the level to unlock a Monster when on the pause
menu, under objectives, it says "Reveal New Monster".
As another note, very rarely are you given some sort of
confirmation that unlocked the level to unlock the monster
before you beat the level.

How to Unlock: Play the Level "A Friend in Need" (I believe
as any factipn except Mutant) and destroy all the Power
Surge Crystals. Then the following day, there should be
a level at Monster Island called "Baragon". Defeat him
and he will be unlocked.

Monster: Varan
Faction: Earh Defenders
How to Unlock: Play the Level "On the Mothership" as an
Alien. On the walls, there are 2 or 3 giant purple things.
(I don't really know how to describe them, but you'll know
them when you see them. Destroy them with your beam. This
can be tricky with other monsters around so try to avoid
them. After you make sure they're all destroyed. Defeat the
monsters to beat the level. The next day, another level
called "Evicting Varan" will appear at Mothership. Defeat
him there to unlock him.

Monster: Kiryu
Faction: GDF
How to Unlock: Buy GDF Faction
Cost: 0
Monster: Mechagdozilla 2
Faction: GDF
How to Unlock: Buy GDF Faction
Cost: 25000
Monster: Jet Jaguar

How to Unlock: Buy GDF Faction
Cost: 25000
Monster: Moguera
Faction: GDF
How to Unlock: Buy GDF Faction

Monster: Mecha King Ghidorah
Faction: GDF
How to Unlock: Buy GDF Faction. Then play as Either Baragon or
Anguirus on "Invasion". Defeat King Ghidorah to beat the level.
The next day, a level called "M.K.G." will be available at San
Francisco. Beat him there to unlock him.

Monster: Gigan
Faction: Alien
How to Unlock: Buy Alien Faction
Cost: 0
Monster: Megalon

How to Unlock: Buy Alien Faction

Monster: King Ghidorah

Monster: Titanosaurus
Faction: Mutant
How to Unlock: Buy Mutant Faction. Then, playing as a GDF character,
play the "Soloist" level at Sydney. Destroy the 3 Ice Short fat
pillar crystals. These crystals are eactually outside the barrier
of the mapso you need to shoot them with your beam. Once destroyed,
beat the level as normal. The next day a level called "The Awakening
of Titanosaurus" (or something like that) is avaible at Sydney.
Defeat him to unlock him.
Cost: 25000
Note: For some odd reason, Titanosaurus is the only monster in the
Easy story to have 5 health cells. All other monsters have 3.
Monster: SpaceGodzilla
Faction: Mutant
How to Unlock: Buy Mutant Faction. Then playing as a mutant. Obtain
at least 4 power surges during your story mode run. Then beat the
final level, "Tyrant" to unlock SpaceGodzilla. I already explained
how to gain power surges in the factions section under Mutant
faction. Go there if you don't remember.
Cost: 100000
Monster: Krystalak
Faction: Mutant
How to Unlock: Buy Mutant Faction. Then as an Alien, play "Terran
Mind Control". In the crater there is a weird looking crystal.
Destroy it. Then beat the level as normal. Several days later
a level called "The Rise of Krystalak" will appear at New York.
Defeat him there to unlock him.
Cost: 20000
Monster: Biollante
Faction: Mutant
How to Unlock: Buy Mutant Faction. Then play "Rumble in the Surf"
as an Earth Defender. Towards the out edge of the area there
is a building with big green vines holding it with green mist.
Destroy this building. If will breakin in a browish cloud. About
10 seconds later, Biollante's head will poke out and then go away.
Now finish the level. The next day at Tokyo, beat Biollante at
the level "Biollante" to unlock her. (She is a girl indeed.)
Cost: 30000
Monster: Obsidius
Faction: Mutant
How to Unlock: Buy Mutant Faction. Then play "Big Trouble" at
Seattle as a GDF. Destroy the 2 White pyramidal crystals. Try
to do this fast because King Ghidorah can be killed quickly.
Beat the level. Later on (I'm not quite sure if it's the next
day or not) return to Seattle and play "The Birth of Obsidius".
Defeat him to unlock him.
Cost: 20000
Monster: Megaguirus
Faction: Mutant
How to Unlock: Buy Mutant Faction. Then play "Enter General Gyozen"
as an Earth Defender (in London). There are 2 or 3 large teal cystal
structures. Destroy them. The beat the level as normal. Then, not
for several days later (almost then end of story mode), play "The
Wrath of Megaguirus". Defeat her to unlock her.
Cost: 20000
Monster: Godzilla 1990's
Faction: Earth Defenders
How to Unlock: No one is exactly sure right now. If you
play the game as normal, he seems to just appear in
the shop one day. When I know the exact mehtod, I will
update, sorry. Mr. Strange claims it's simple (yet seems
to have figured it out.)
Cost: 20000
Note: The game never says "Godzilla 1990's is avaible for
purchase" and he is not usable in Story Mode or Training.
Monster: Godzilla 1954
Faction: Earth Defenders
How to Unlock: Once again no one is quite sure. If you
play the game as normal, he seems to just appear in
the shop one day. When I know the exact mehtod, I will
update, sorry. Mr. Strange claims it's simple (yet seems
to have figured it out.) I know you don't have to have
unlocked Godzilla 1990's to unlock G54.
Cost: 100000
Note: The game never says "Godzilla 1954 is avaible for
purchase" and he is not usable in Story Mode or Training.
Stage: London
How to Unlock: Initially Available
Cost: 15000
Stage: Monster Island
How to Unlock: Initially Available
Cost: 10000
Stage: Mothership
How to Unlock: In the level "Invasion" destroy the UFO Mothership. To
do this, you need to play as a monster with a long beam (not Baragon
or Anguirus) and not a Mutant. The UFO has Glowing yellow conducts to
shoot. You can do this even as an Alien. The lifebar is at the bottom
of the screen. When you destroy it, the level ends and it says Mothership
is now availble for purchase.

I'm not going to go through every gallery item because there are
53 of them. I will say this though. They are all unlocked from the
begining. DO NOT buy any gallery item until you have bought the
monsters and cities first. The only exception would to be the
Monster Hints if you are still having trouble figuring out
how to unlock the monster despite reading this guide. The
Gallery ends costing a pretty penny so if you decide to buy it
all, good luck to ya!
So how do you come up with all those points. It isn't easy.
So my best strategy for you (the overachiever trying to get
every last item) is this: Play the story mode as a mutant.
You seem to get more points. Get as many power surges as you
can and kill as many monsters as you can. Most of all destroy
as many BUILDINGS and VEHICLES as you can. In "The Flight
of the Atragon", I got 8000 because of the 1400 bonus for
winning and 6600 building destruction. In levels with more
than one monster, just destroy everything you can. It pays
off.

Q: Is this the last Godzilla that is going to be made for a while?
A: I honestly don't know. I looks like it could be that way.
Q: What does DAMM and StE mean?
A: Destroy All Monsters Melee (Xbox and GC) and Save the Earth (PS2 and Xbox)
Q: I'm playing the right level to unlock [Monster]. Why can't I find the
crystal/building/monster to face?
A: Read the guide. Some times you have to be a specific faction or monster
in order to find the right in game items to unlock monsters.
Q: Krystalak and Obsidius? WHat movies are they from?
A: None. Read the history section to learn more.
Q: Does difficulty matter in this game as far as points go?
A: As far as I can tell, no. Easy, Normal, Hard all reveal the
same amount of points. [Email me if I'm wrong].
Q; Why didn't [Monster] appear in the game?
A: Not every monster can be put in. There are a few I was confused that
didn't make it myself. Talk to Mr. Strange.
Q: Why doesn't Obsidius have an "Emblem" like all the other monsters?
A: I'm not really sure.
Q: Why can't I use Godzilla 1990's and 1954 in Story mode?
A: You just can't. I'm sorry. (I really like G90's myself.)
