A. FAQ Information:

I woke up on July 13th and decided that I was going to use my laptop to
write down the codes for my character so i could beat all of the combos
so that I could get my other gear and see what else I got for
completing all of my tricks. My Brother-in-law came in and asked if he
could do the same. We then discussed it and said, you know it would be
nice if someone had already done this list so we could just print it
out. So we decided to try write all of the riders combos down. When
Mike (my Brother-in-law) got to the Freekstyle races he wasn't sure
what combo's were the best, so we decided to write down the approximate
value of each combo.

Almost all jumps were completed at "BURN IT OUT" on the very first jump
and off the top ramp that you get after the first jump. We also went
to the freestyle areas and completed the super simple combos so that
we didn't have to keep restarting. Now mind you that if these combos
are done more than once the value decreases, (see section A paragraph 7)
but those are the values you get if they are done for the first time.
Also some of the tricks were done on the bonus ramp after the first huge
jump. So a few extra points were probably added on because of that.

BTW: on the first jump we have found it best if you right into the
fire on the left hand side. For some reason that gave us more distance.

1. Basic Tricks
There are several forms of basic tricks. The first is any trick
that can be accomplished using single or double button combinations plus
they can be done on any bike with any rider. As listed in the book,
there is one trick that does not require you to use any buttons which is
a whip. To perform this trick you hold hard right or left for a short
period of time.

2. Harder Tricks
Harder tricks can be done holding 3 or more trick buttons. These
tricks can be completed using 3 more button combinations. Certain
tricks are available based on bike and rider. These tricks are harder
to perform and usually are completed on jumps where you can obtain a
large amount of height.

3. Tricks Requiring Freekouts
To freekout you have a trick bar located in the lower left side
of your screen. Once you’ve completed enough tricks to fill your trick
meter (which is indicated by red) the head in the lower left corner will
begin to bounce. You will press all of the trick buttons to perform a
super sick trick (a.k.a. 4 button trick). Each freekout trick varies
for each rider and their bikes.

4. Tweaking
As mentioned in one of the loading screens you will see a note
stating: When you don’t have time for a Combo, then perform a tweak.
All a tweak basically does is extend your trick. You will receive extra
points for a tweak and if you perform tweaks during combos, the combo
will be worth extra.

5. Combo
In Freekstyle, performing combos can have its advantages. If you
do a combo from a rider’s combo list you will receive more points.
Specific bikes can only complete certain combos. This FAQ has been
based on each rider's combo list and their value.

6. Holding a Trick
Continuing to a hold a button down while performing a trick is
called a hold. If you perform a tweak it will interrupt the hold and
finish off the trick. While performing a combo if you hold any 1 of the
tricks for a longer period of time you will receive more points.

7. Cheapening a trick
Tricks can be cheapened or will be less value if you perform them
too many times in a single race. If you are going for major points like
when you have to do the freekstyle races where you are required to get
points to pass the race, you will not want to use the same trick too
many times.

8. Controller layout and button aliases
The controller information is pretty self explanitory but for FAQ
sakes here they are:

L1 - L1 on the top of the controller
L2 - L2 on the top of the controller
R1 - R1 on the top of the controller
R2 - R2 on the top of the controller
X - X Button
TR - Triangle Button
SQ - Square Button
O - Circle button

Y. What you get for completing these combos

My Brother-In-Law and I have personally gone through (at this point)
and completed every trick and combo on every rider. This has taken
some time since he goes to school and I work but I hope this FAQ
helps out.

It seems that when you complet all of your combos every rider gives
the exact same codes. So I didn’t feel it was necessary to list
them after every single rider. So here they are.

1. 20 - Get rider's alternate gear
2. 30 - CODE: FLYSOLO - which allows you to ride without a bike
3. 40 - CODE: FIRESALE - allows you more boost
4. 50 - Max out rider's stats
5. All - CODE: FREEBIE – (Not sure what this does)
COOLDUDE - Unlock Clifford Adoptante
TOUGHGUY - Unlock Mike Jones
BLONDIE - Unlock Jessica Patterson
GIMEGREG - Unlock Greg Albertyn
