Welcome to the first version of my FAQ/Walkthrough of Forbidden Siren 2.
This is my first English guide and third overall guide. It's a start, but
I hope that this file starts growing fast with information, mainly the
walkthrough data.

This guide is based on the PAL (European) version of the game, so all the
japanese names are written like the Western boy do. I don't know if there's
any difference, in terms of gameplay, between Japanese and English game
versions.

Some parts of this FAQ are quite not finished, and I'm willing to accept
any help that you can offer. Please contact me for any questions to

5.- Tips and Hints
=============================================================================
- Someone has caught you and is trying to bite you or something else?
  Quickly waggle the Left Analog Stick to push off the enemy.
- Try to avoid confrontation with more than one enemy. The disadvantage
  rules will make the enemies hit you from every single side. (Specially
  the endless Yamireis)
- If you have a partner on any mission, try to leave him/her behind if
  you're going to have an confrontation. This is specially important on
  narrow spaces, such as doors, corridors, or the stairs in the Apartments
  building.
- Careful when running. Your characters will get tired in more or less one
  or two minutes, and if they do, they will move slower, even slower than
  when you walk without being tired. That will leave your skin exposed to
  the enemy. You can stop moving to rest a bit and continue your way.
- If you don't want to fight, in Siren 2 there's a new feature consisting
  on when you're near an enemy's view or hearing radius, you'll get an
  alarm sound and your controller will vibrate.
- Sight-Jack when you can or when you need to make a strategy to go to
  somewhere. There are two new button functions: use L1 to automatically
  Sight-Jack the closest subject or R1 to do the same, but with the
  closest enemy that is alerted.
- If your enemy has a firearm, try to get him from his back or his sides,
  or, if you have a firearm as well, from some distance. If he sees you,
  run away and pray so you don't get hit too much. Specially from snipers.
- The best way to fight with a contact weapon is to do a combo. Press the
  X button repeatedly to do a three-hit-combo. If a enemy has stepped
  backwards and he's going to approach you, you will probably hit him with
  the third strike.
- Contact weapons tend to need some hits to defeat an enemy, but there are
  some exceptions (Like the saw of Tomoe Ohta). Firearms are more effective
  if you use the flashlight and wait a couple of seconds before firing (So
  your character can take aim), and don't shoot fast. This isn't Doom, and
  ammo is scarce. Firearms tend to need a few shots to take down a enemy.
  With a Rifle, always try to use the scope and shoot enemies on the head.
- You can harm shiryos (the ghosts), yamireis and yamibitos aiming at them
  your flashlight. Press R2 to go into 1st person and have a better aim.
  Though you still need to shoot or hit them in order to kill them.
- In some stages you will find cats. When you approach them, they get
  spooked and run away, not without a cat shout which may discover you.
- In some stages you can drive a truck and use it to ram off your enemies,
  Careful, enemies can shoot you through the windows, or if they get to a
  door, pull you out of the vehicle and attack you, or your partner. Use
  R1 to accelerate, R2 to brake or reverse, Square to turn the lights
  on/off, and L3 to honk the horn.
- You can shout to enemies so they can get to you (and, per example, so
  they don't get near a partner) by pressing Triangle and select "Shout".
- If you don't know how you can unlock a Mission 2 Stage, here's another
  new feature of Siren 2: Get the marker to the stage you want to find the
  condition to open Mission 2, and hit L1. Then, find any stage that's
  blinking. That's the stage you need to replay in order to fulfill the
  objective to open Mission 2. And you will probably see, inside a Mission
  2 Stage, in the map, some tips about what you need to do to open the
  Mission 2 Stage of someone else.

6.- Walkthrough

   6.1.- Missions Walkthrough
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
The levels will be ordered first by the character name (according to the
Link Navigator list), then by the time period. This section doesn't contain
the cutscene sections, since they will be unlocked when you beat the stages.

This walkthrough has been made by playing on the Easy difficulty.

You can quickly search a particular stage by writing the following data
in your search feature: [Name/Sign/Hour]

Per example, if you want to go to Mamoru Itsuki's -03:00 walkthrough,
search for [Mamoru-03].
Or for the Takeaki Misawa's +04:00 walkthrough, search for [Takeaki+04].

[Mamoru-03]
Mamoru Itsuki, -03:00/Yamijima Harbour/Dolphin Pier (Encounter)

Mission 1: Reach the road to Uryuga Forest with Travelling Companion.

This stage acts as a tutorial on how to use the game controls. Move forward,
aim at the top of the post with the flashlight, move to the small bridge and
jump over it, continue through the stairs at your right, then cross a gate.
Now turn left and move forward, and go up some stairs, but at some point
in the stairs, turn left. Don't listen to the warning and go up the set of
stairs to the second floor. Get into the "Pressure Mach. Room" and check the
"Turtle Jelly Noodles" and the "Kastori Weekly". Go back to the first floor
(there's nothing else to do here at this moment), back to the stairs you
were going up, and climb the stairs to activate a cutscene. When it ends,
turn off your flashlight, crouch and move forward until the alarm stops.
Now you can stand up and turn on your flashlight. Keep going forward until
you reach a closed gate, turn around and you will see a ladder. Go up the
ladder, then turn 180º, and face the edge that's facing the building in
front of you. Jump over the gap, then turn left and drop down. Pick up the
[Scantling] in front of you, then turn back to see a building with a door
with a window. Get in front of the door, and smash the window with your
weapon. Open the lock, open the door, and get inside to have a cutscene.

Press Triangle and select "Wait", then get out and go to your right, but
you'll be interrupted by another cutscene. "Shout" to the enemy, take him
out of your neck by quickly moving your Left analog stick, and then kill the
shibito. As an advice, press X repeatedly to make a three hit combo. You'll
need two or three hits to take him down. Select "Come here", then go through
the gate the shibito opened, move forward and when prompted, turn right.
Go up the ledge, move forward, climb the next ledge, then turn around and
"Pull up" your partner. Continue through the way to finish the mission.

Mission 2: Find medal.

To complete this Mission, you should have done:
Turn the valve on the Pressure Machine Room as Kanae at -01:00 Mission 2.
(For the File) Save the turtle as Kanae at -01:00 Mission 2.

The first part of this mission is basically the same as in Mission 1, but
with some additions. First, turn back and go down the stairs to the water to
check the "Missing Person Poster". Now go back and get to the Passage Hole.
At the wall on your right you can see an broken ladder. Forget this for now
and go to the Steps of Pain. Climb them, but don't stop at the middle point,
since you're going to come back later. Repeat all you did on Mission 1 until
you get the cutscene with Yuri. Tell her to "Wait", but pick up the [Locker
Key] on the barrels. Get out, and this time the bad guy will show up when
you cross the door. Take him down and take Yuri with you. Go back and get
up the Gold Mining Co. ledge, and pick up the Monkey Wrench to perform the
"Action to begin Mamoru Itsuki's +0:01:08 Mission 2". Return to your steps
and go to the Pressure Machine Room.

You'll need to be fast on the following steps because that Shibito you killed
will wake up soon and it will search and attack Yuri. Check the two Archive
items if you didn't do it before and check out the metal plate at your left.
Kick it down and drop Down to the first floor. Check the room for a locker,
open it up, and pick up the [Iron Pipe]. Be careful to switch the Scantling
for the Iron Pipe, instead of the Monkey Wrench. Unlock the nearby door and
open it. By this time you'll have to face the Shibito again. Pummel it down,
and take Yuri with you back to the broken ladder. Now you can use the Iron
Pipe to climb up the ladder. Do so, and go down the ladder in front of you.
Go again down the next ladder into the Turtle Hole.

(Note: If you saved the turtle at Kanae's -01:00 Yamijima Harbor Stage,
in order to obtain the "Yamigame" item of the Archive, you need to complete
the mission as fast as you can. To go down to the beach faster, you can
press X while you are going down to jump down to the ground. The turtle is
on the beach. Thanks to CHIPS for the jump down trick.)

Search the nearby area and Pick up the Medal. You'll get the "Exposition
Medal" file in the Archive and you will complete the mission.

[Mamoru+00]
Mamoru Itsuki, 00:00/Yamijima Island/Uryuga Forest (Vision)

Mission 1: Reach the road to Hidaru with Yuri Kishida.

This mission acts as a tutorial for Sightjacking and the possibilities it
has. Follow the tutorial, then open the door and cross it to watch an small
cutscene. Press then L2 and then L1 to Sightjack the closest enemy, who has
got into the Ore-Processing Plant room. Turn off the flashlight, crouch and
use the Sightjack to sneak to the other side of the door when the shibito
doesn't look. Go to the left side of the nearby train cart so the shibito
doesn't see you, and sightjack the next shibito (The one in front of you,
looking at a door). He will unlock the Dial lock, open the door, close it
back and place again the Dial lock. Remember the padlock code (it changes
every time you play this level), and when that shibito leaves, go to the
door, unlock it, and get inside to pick up a [Fire Poker]. Get Yuri inside
and close the door. You can either wait to the shibito to come back and
poke it down, or either unlock the door at your right and get out without
being seen. In any case, run to the Steel Door.

As soon as you cross it, a shibito will spot you, but she's on the upper
passage, so she needs to go down the stairs and meet you. Take her down,
then go up the stairs and go to the Incline Control Room. (By the way, in
this part of the stage you will encounter shiryos (the ghosts) You'll alert
another shibito in the way through. Get inside to pick up a [Crowbar], then
go to the second floor and inspect the "Police Notebook" just in the floor
in front of the window. Return to the stairs. Now go down to the basement,
to the Guardhouse. Take down the shibito if he sees you. Go to the door,
smash his window and open it. Pick up the [Blower Machine Room Key]. Now
proceed to that room. Unlock his door and get in. There's a loose board at
your left, so Inspect it and Remove the board to perform the "Action to
begin Soji Abe's +19:28:17 Mission 2". Now it's time to get out of here.
Check the map to see where's the exit, and run for it, avoiding all the
shibitos and shiryos until you get to the exit.

Mission 2: Acquire hair ornament.

To complete this Mission, you should have done:
Pick up the [Monkey Wrench] on Mamoru Itsuki's -03:00 Mission 2.

Get inside the facility and directly pummel down the first shibito. You
should notice a [Stone Ball] in this room, so pick it up. Go back and do
again the Dial lock thingie, but pick up the [Fire Poker] in the nearby
storeroom. Knock down the shibito, and run to the Steel Door, then to the
basement. Right on the wall next to the train cart is a duct, so Inspect
it to see that the ornament is there, though you can't get it yet. Get again
the [Blower Machine Room Key] and go to that room. You will find there
the other end of the duct, right in front of the door. Remove the duct with
your Monkey Wrench, and then Put Stone Ball to make it release the ornament.
Return to the basement, but before you pick up the ornament, go to the side
of the Guardhouse where the shibito is and Inspect the Stone Ball to get
"UMA Encyclopedia". Now, pick up [Tomoe's Hair Ornament] to end the mission.

[Mamoru+03]
Mamoru Itsuki, 03:00/Yamijima Amusement Park/Coffee Cup Ride (Maze)

Mission 1: Reach the Gate of Underworld.

In this stage you'll need to get Yuri near some places, so she can find the
"locks" to open the Gate. She will first go to a place near the nearby
stairs, and then stare at something. Sightjack her so you can see what is
she staring at: One of the locks. Approach it and Yuri will start singing
one of the portions of the song described in File #50. That song has some
clues to unlock the lock. The lock has two sort of Dials. On the first one,
select the Crown and the Fire sections, and the lock will be unlocked.

Now go to the stairs at your left and go down them crouched. Try to avoid
being detected, and go near the Ticket Machines. When Yuri starts singing,
Sightjack her to find the next lock. This time, input the ring with a
background inclined from left to right, and down select the water drawing.
Return to the Coffee Cup and go to the Park Rear Gate. You'll meet there
the shibitofied Tomoe Ohta. Pummel her down, grab her [DAIKIRI Saw] and get
Yuri in the streetlight between the Rear Gate and the Amusement Park map.
The code this time is the Earrings that has wind as a background, and the
Wind drawing. Now go up the stairs behind the gate, and check the rubble
to find the "Kastori Special DVD". No go back to the Gate, and from there
to the Fountain, knocking down Tomoe again and two shibito soldiers near the
fountain. At the fountain, get Yuri to the streetlight to get another lock.
Input the earrings with a fire background, and down the other half of the
fire background. Return to the Coffee Cup and this time take the bridge
to the Ferris Wheel.

Now go to the Flower Bed. Careful, there's a handgun shibito nearby. Climb
the ledge and go to the streetlight that's behind the big toy rabbit. This
time, for the upper rune, from the drawing, turn right, and same for the
lower picture. Drop Down and go to the Custodian's Shack (crouch when you
see the gardener shibito). You know where is the next rune. Input the bird
with the triangle background and down, the other half. Now you have unlocked
the last rune, which is on the Ferris Wheel. The post is between the two
benches in the Ferris Wheel area. For the last rune, first make the drawing
of a girl with a crown, then turn the lower part once to the left so it's
unlocked. Mission complete.

Mission 2: Acquire a glimpse of Mother.

To complete this Mission, you should have done:
Don't know yet, if you do, please contact me.

First, you need to go down to the Ticket Machine, shooting the shibito in
his back before he gets you. Pick up [Small Change], and go to the Ferris
Wheel. Shoot again to the shibito at his back, then go to the left side of
the Ferris Wheel to pick up the [Electric Ride Battery]. You need to go to
the Custodian's Shack, but there's a sniper shibito on your way, so you're
going to distract him. Go to the Electric Ride, place the battery and enter
the coins to get the machine working, then step back to the Ferris Wheel.
The shibito should get closer to the Electric Ride, and when he does, shoot
him. Pick up his rifle so he doesn't bother you anymore with it and then go
to the Custodian's Shack. Get inside and pick up the [Pliers]. Now go back
to the Park Front Gate, shoot down the shibito in front of it, and use the
Pliers to get the Mother's Scale and finish the mission.

[Mamoru+15]
Mamoru Itsuki, 15:00/Bright Win/Forward Deck (Hate)

Mission 1: Defeat Tomoe Ohta.

You first need to find a weapon. Move through the Starboard Deck to the
Entrance. You can either grab a handgun on the counter (you can only pick it
up crouched) (thanks to azure_ice for the tip) or, the better choice, you
can take the rifle from the sniper yamibito, who normally stands behind the
door to the corridor. So catch him up, turn your flashlight on so he can't
shoot you at the start, and knock him down, then pick up his [Type 89
Rifle]. Get into the Third-Class Cabin to check out the "SN-AG1999 GAME
MANIAC". Now, go to the Second-Class Cabin on the second floor to find a
[Vermillion Bracelet] and to perform the "Action to begin Yorito Nagai's
+18:05:01 Mission 2".

Now you have to find Tomoe. This girl now has become a Yamibito with a
enormous face, that works for her as a shield. You need to shoot her from
the sides or from the back, but shooting her while she's coming at you will
only result in a mission failure. You should find her in the Machine Room,
if she didn't went out to take a walk at the entrance...

A possible approach could be to wait until Tomoe goes to the lowest floor
of the Engine Room, and when she's there, go to the top floor of the engine
room, and place yourself in front of the stairs, but on the other side of
this floor. Now, Shout and Tomoe will come up running. You should have two
chances to shoot her if she's at the lowest level, but one for the middle
level. When she comes up, shoot at her back.

A second way (supposedly easier, though i haven't managed to make it this
way) would be first wait until Tomoe gets in one of the lower levels of the
Engine Room, and look for some fire extinguishers (near the railings). When
Tomoe is exactly under the extinguisher, throw it down to kill her instantly
(Thanks to Kin Chung Lee for the reminder).

Mission 2: Annihilate Yamirei and Yamibito.

To complete this Mission, you should have done:
Unlock the Engine Control Room side door as Yorito Nagai at +02:00 Stage.

You first need to turn the lights on. You will find breakers switched on,
but they won't work until you start the machinery on the Engine Control
Room. You need to go there, but you must take the side door. Once you are
there, turn on the lights on the ship. Before you start killing monsters,
Inspect the "Security Monitor" which is turned on. You will first have to
neutralize all the yamireis on the ship, and the game should keep telling
you where is your next target. After killing all the yamireis, you'll have
to kill all the yamibito (Tomoe included). To kill Tomoe, just repeat the
procedure of Mission 1.

namakemono pointed out this: "When you have the annihilate the yamirei and
you didn't took the sniper rifle (or you had to load a checkpoint), he will
hide in one of the cabins of the first floor and he won't move for nothing,
which renders him invincible. To lure him out, you need to switch off the
lights. Then he will be posted in a corner of the hallway, leaving exposed
his left flank."

[Mamoru+22]
Mamoru Itsuki, 22:00/Shinari Mountain/Pylon #4 (Mad Laughter)

Mission 1: Destroy Tomoe Ohta.

You will start in front of the crazed Ichiko Yagura, so quickly run out of
there. Turn left and run forward to some stairs, climb them to find two
paths, one is some stairs going down, the other one is a path behind you.
Take the second option and move forward, go down the next stairs, and wait
in front of Ohta's House. Wait until the subobjective changes to "Get inside
Ohta's House.". Now, return to the spot where you started the Mission. You
will encounter many yamireis on your way, so hit them with you gun (Don't
waste ammo). Continue moving forward, and you will find a doorway with some
stairs. Go up them and at the end, drop Down with Ikuko (You will see a
warning if you don't take Ikuko with you). Turn left, climb the ledge and
open the door to see a cutscene.

Time to destroy Tomoe Ohta. First of all, get out of her way to avoid her
first attack. The quickest option is to make her fight against Ikuko, then
aim at her back with your flashlight and open fire to kill her. Other way
would be the opposite option, become a decoy and leave Ikuko the fighting.
Mission 1 complete.

Mission 2: Reach the top of the tower with Ikuko Kifune.

To complete this Mission, you should have done:
Get the [Crane Key] as Ikuko Kifune at +20:00 Mission 1.
Push the locker as Yorito Nagai at +18:00 Mission 1.
Pick up the [Hatchet] as Mamoru Itsuki on Yorito Nagai's +18:00 Mission 1.

Go to the hiding spot. This time Tomoe Ohta will get out of the door, so
while Ichiko is moving, knock down Tomoe. (One chance to kill quickly Tomoe
would be to stick to the southeast side of the area, wait until she opens
the door and right when she's opening it, shoot her). Be careful in this
area, since there's a ledge and either you or Ikuko can fall down to the
death if a enemy (Since two yamireis will come to join the party) bumps you
near the ledges. You will find inside Ohta's House a tree similiar to the
one on Ikuko's stage, but you need a tool to take out the piece. If you have
the [Hatchet], use it to remove the [Anunnaki Remains (Horn)], and to
perform the "Action to begin Mamoru Itsuki's +23:59:27 Mission 2". On the
other room, search a bit for a scroll with "The Ohta Family Code". When
Ichiko is gone, go up the stairs you took down before, and move forward,
then turn at the right when you can. You will see a crane, and the control
panel locked. Ikuko will open the control panel, then use the crane to go up
one level.

Now the next part is easy: you need to keep up climbing until you see the
cutscene that ends this stage. Ichiko will be nearby and if she sees you or
Ikuko, she will start shooting. Just run to the exit. When you climb up a
tall ledge, you'll need to help Ikuko to climb the ledge. After this, turn
left and keep going forward to take a left (don't take the right path). Keep
going up to finish.

[Mamoru+22]2nd Stage
Mamoru Itsuki, 22:00/Shinari Mountain/Pylon #4 (Collapse)

To complete this Mission, you should have done:
Pick up the [Anunnaki Remains (Horn)] as Mamoru Itsuki at +22:00 Mission 2.
Pick up the [Anunnaki Remains (Fang)] as Ikuko Kifune at +20:00 Mission 1.
Pick up the [Anunnaki Remains (Claw)] as Akiko Kiyota at +15:00 Mission 1.

Mission: Defeat Mother.

In this mission you can switch the character you are controlling via the
List menu (Press Triangle). This action pattern is as easy as what you read
in case you've got the Hints on. You need to sightjack Mother, then, when
her sight is not covered by a red net, switch to Ikuko and use her possess
power to stop Mother for a second, second you must use with Mamoru to shoot
Mother. You will be able to fire her 4-5 shots before she returns inside.
Mother will drop some white yamireis to distract you, you can shoot them
when Mother's inside. After some shots, you will see Akiko on the stage.
You have to protect her while she's wandering around, while you are still
shooting Mother down.

When Akiko has found out what she was looking, you will see another
cutscene, where Mamoru and Ikuko will get one Annaki per each person. Take
any of them and climb up to the highest point you can, and wait for Mother.
When she comes, hit her. You'll need some hits in order to make her fall
down to the ground. When she does, switch to the character who is near to
Mother and press X to throw Mother one of the sticks. Repeat the process
again with the other character to finally kill her, and get another ending.

[Ikuko+08]
Ikuko Kifune, 08:00/Underworld (Escape)

Mission 1: Escape from Yamijima Amusement Park with Mamoru Itsuki.

Turn around and approach the bridge in front of you to watch a small
cutscene. You'll have to use Ikuko's Mind Power to control the shibito so
you can kill the sniper who is at the Flower Bed. But if you send the
shibito, he will return back to it's position, so you first need to hide.
At the eastern side of the Gate of Underworld you can hide. Now, Sightjack
the enemy at the bridge, push R3, and take him to the Flower Bed, where you
should shoot the sniper. Disconnect, because Ikuko's gets her tired, and if
you spend all the time, Ikuko will be tired and she will move slower.

Anyway, when the shibito returns to the bridge, go to the Flower Bed, and
pick up from the map the "Amusement Park Pamphlet". Go to the Custodian's
Shack, forgetting about the sniper shibito, since you can't take out his
weapon. After a cutscene, you'll have to control the shibito who is inside
the Shack. Control him, open the door, and place him on the empty spot at
the left of the shibito's view. Disconnect, pick up the [Golf Club], and
knock out the shibito as fast as you can. Now you have to escape from the
area. Go to the Flower Bed to watch a cutscene. Now go cross the bridge to
the Park Rear Gate (careful with the shiryos) and look to find on the
stairs the [Padlock Key] to perform the "Action to begin Ikuko Kifune's
+20:19:42 Mission 2". You can try to get the "Mbembe Cola Bottle Caps"
from the food stall near the Fountain, but there's a sniper shibito at the
Front Park Door. If you kill him, you can finish the level by going to the
door he was guarding and breaking the padlock, if you don't, you can
finish by crossing the Park Front Gate.

One note about this mission: It seems that in order to get file 65, you
must get a good bottle cap, if you don't, you can use the Checkpoint
function and then try again. Check out if you're lucky on the Archive
every time you get a cap. If you're lucky, go to the Park Rear Gate, to
the big map near a stone marker, and look on the poster next to the map.

azure_ice has another strategy to move around the stage:
"When trying to get "Mbembe Cola Bottle Caps" there is an easy way to get
it. Just control a sniper shibito there to walk down then shoot anywhere to
emptying his rifle. After that big possibility he will quickly die by
Yamerei or just attack him when he reloading his rifle."

Mission 2: Destroy all the stone markers.

To complete this Mission, you should have done:

This time you won't have enough time to get the shibito to the sniper
position and shoot him, so we should use another strategy. Possess the
Flower Bed shibito and take him to the Custodian's Shack, there shoot the
digging shibito, then put the shibito at a corner where he can't see your
path until he regains control of himself. Disconnect, go to the Custodian's
Shack (And try to not get caught by the revolver shibito), and pick up the
[Shovel] from the fallen enemy. Now, start destroying the markers (And
kill any shibito who gets in your way). At some point of the level, you will
see a cutscene where the yamireis are introduced and will bother you on this
level, so avoid them while you can. Fortunately, they should distract the
shibitos. One suggestion: The last markers to fall should be the one near
the ticket booths and the fountain.

azure_ice has also another strategy to move around this mission:
"When controlling a revolver shibito, after kill digging shibito will be
easier (to move along) to emptying his revolver before placing the shibito
at a corner. After getting the shovel, emptying his revolver again then
quickly kill him and get his revolver. Also, it's possible to destroy the
stone markers using a shibito in order to get the job done faster."

[Ikuko+20]
Ikuko Kifune, 20:00/Shinari Mountain/Plyon #4 (Yamibito)

Mission 1: Destroy Shigeru Fujita.

Yep, we've gotta free him from his misery. Poor chap. Anyway, this stage is
basically climbing to the top and then kill Shigeru. Start by climbing the
stairs in front of you. Continue going ahead, as this is section is pretty
straight-forward. At some point at the stairs, at his right you will see a
section where you can drop Down. Down there is a yamibito patrolling, so
kill him.

In order to do this section, you need to remove the locker as Yorito Nagai
at any mission at 18:00. If you didn't do that, skip this paragraph. Go to
the nearby stairs that lead to a door locked with a padlock, so open it.
On this area you will have another ration of endless yamireis, so you might
want to be fast on this steps. You need to go to the Mining Station Lounge,
but the door to that room is locked, so try to either possess the
dog-yamibito who's inside or alert him so he opens the door. Avoid the
dog-yamibito and go to the Mining Station Lounge room to pick up a [Crane
Key] to perform the "Action to begin Mamoru Itsuki's +22:27:08 Mission 2".
Now, return to the padlocked door. (Thanks to Jason for the reminder)

At the southeast side of the yard there's a ladder. Go down there, kill or
avoid the two yamireis and Inspect that sort of tree to pick up the
[Anunnaki Remains (Fang)] to perform the "Action to begin Mamoru Itsuki's
+22:59:27 Mission 2". Turn back, move forward and go down the stairs. Cross
the door, and check the table in front of you to pick up the "Yamijima
Folklore" magazine. At the shelf on the right, pick up the [9mm Handgun]
which you will need to defeat Shigeru. But so far, keep using the Golf Club.
Now, go down the stairs that are next to the door you came in, but before
you reach the end, turn around to kill a yamirei who is trying to catch you
from behind. Go and through the door. Kill or avoid the two yamireis, then
go up the stairs to the North of this area. You will encounter a Yamibito
with a SMG, so try to kill him and switch the pistol with the SMG.

Up the stairs you'll have to go either through the door or up the stairs.
Take the stairs and keep climbing until you see some stairs broken, then
Jump over the gap at your right. Turn right, move a bit forward and drop
Down to the lower floor. Go up the stairs at your left and move forward
until you get near a door. Open the door, then move forward and go up the
stairs at your right. At the end of the stairs you'll find Shigeru. Shoot
him down to finish the mission.

Mission 2: Acquire camera.

To complete this Mission, you should have done:
Get the [Padlock Key] as Ikuko Kifune at +08:00 Mission 1.

Start mission like before, without going to the Mining Station, until you
have to jump over the gap. When you drop Down, you will find a door at your
right, behind you. Go there (it's locked) and Throw the padlock key. Now,
Sightjack the dog-yamibito that's on the other side of the door, pick up the
key, open the door, and then take the dog-yamibito as far of that room as
you can. Open the door and pick up "Mamoru's Digital Camera" in front of it
to complete the mission.

[Yorito-01]
Yorito Nagai, -01:00/Yamijima Amusement Park/Custodian's Shack (Battle)

Mission 1: Reach the road to Uryuga Forest.

First of all, kill Sergeant Okita and then pick up his rifle. Now follow
Misawa until a set of stairs, where you will be prompted to use the sniper
function to kill a shibito (Shoot him in the head). Now go up the stairs,
but before continuing, check out the front fence of the Ferris Wheel to
check out the "Signboard Graffiti". Get back with Misawa and move a bit
forward so he starts moving and kills three shibito, then drop down the
bridge to follow him. He'll go to the Park Rear Gate. Get in front of the
door and hit with your weapon's butt the padlock. Move forward until Misawa
stops in some stairs and says "Looks like we're in for some climbing".
Press the X button to climb the ledge and accomplish the mission.

Mission 2: Find pill.

To complete this Mission, you should have done:

Kill Sergeant Okita and pick up his rifle. This time, you will be leading
the way, so move forward, at the stairs to the Ferris Wheel kill the soldier
shibito, then go down the other set to kill another one, and then drop down.
Now turn right and go to the Fountain. On the food cart you will find a
[Ticket Box Key]. Now go to the Coffee Cup Ride, and check a Bag in a bench,
to get "Takeaki's I.D.", now, go to the Park Front Gate. There, pick up the
[Firing Device] to perform the "Action to begin Takeaki Misawa's +4:42:40
Mission 2". Now, go to the Coffee Cup Ride, go to his ticket booth, and open
it to find the pills and complete the mission.

[Yorito+02]
Yorito Nagai, 02:00/Bright Win/Portside Corridor (Discord)

Mission 1: Help Yuri Kishida escape from the ferry.

You can't follow Yuri from the door she took, so return back to the stairs
and you will see Tomoe Ohta. She will be constantly after Yuri and she knows
where she is, so you can use her in your advantage to reach Yuri. Follow her
without being spotted. When she is on the hallway to the Engine Control
Room, kill her. Get into the Engine Control Room and unlock the side door to
perform the "Action to begin Mamoru Itsuki's +15:04:04 Mission 2". Get out
and kill again Tomoe (as she will probably wake up when you got out, Tomoe
takes a few seconds to rise again). Go up to Starboard Deck, and as you
open the door to that room, use the sniper function to kill the shibito at
the other end of the Deck. Now, move through the deck, cross the door in
front of you, take then the door to your left and go upstairs to the
Wheelhouse. From there you'll have to kill shiryos with the lights. First,
turn on the lights through a panel in the middle of the room, then use the
southern Signal Lamp to aim the light to the shiryos, until Yuri runs away.

Return to the corridor between the Forward Deck and the Starboard Deck. You
will know if Tomoe has passed through here if the door to the Forward Deck
is open, in that case, find her and kill her. If that's not the case,
continue. In any case, you need to find on the Forward Deck a [Flare] on
the Starboard side to perform the "Action to begin Yorito Nagai's +22:28:44
Mission 2". Now you have to go back to the Engine Control Room to find Yuri.
Before getting out of here, we're going to take the scenic route. Go to the
Entrance and get behind the reception desk. Crouch to Inspect the box that
is behind the desk to get the "Passenger's Videotape" (Thanks to caro c moua
for telling me where the item is). Go to the Third-Class Cabin and check out
the TV to find the "Shikai News" Archive item. Now go to the second floor,
to the Second-Class Cabin, but a bit before the door, Inspect the
"Heart-shaped Letter". (thanks to caro c moua for pointing it out) Now get
into the cabin it and look for a paper, it's the "Tournament Announcement".
Now, go to the Freight Room on the lower levels. You can't use the elevator
since it's stuck, so take the stairs. Break the window on the door to the
Freight Room to make the shibito come there and to free the elevator. Now
turn back and take the elevator to the Freight Room. Kill the shibito on
the area. In a corner near the door you should find some scrap and a hole,
Inspect it and make Yuri to go through it. Mission complete.

Mission 2: Escape from the ferry with Yuri Kishida.

To complete this Mission, you should have done:
Get the [Crank Handle] and use it in the Boat Davit machinery as Ichiko
Yagura at +01:00.

Repeat all the steps of Mission 1 until you find Yuri. Now, go to the
Boat Davit, and use the crank on the left to complete this stage.

[Yorito+14]
Yorito Nagai, 14:00/Gold Mining Co. Housing/C-102 (Rescue)

Mission 1: Save Ichiko Yagura and Escape from Houya.

First, get to the Children's Park in front of you. Go to a tree that is
past the sandpit and Inspect a paper under it to pick up the "Time Capsule
Map" and to perform the "Action to begin Yorito Nagai's +23:00:00 Mission
2" (Thanks to Matt Ross for this). Get out and go to the A-Building, you may
see the truck in your way, but you won't need it and it doesn't have a
battery. Go to A-304 (The western side). In front of the door, throw a Smoke
Candle to blind the yamibitos in the stair and in the second floor, then
kill them and go to A-304 to see that Ichiko has gone mad. Turn around and
run away, since now Ichiko is inmortal and she will shoot and kill anyone
who gets on her way. Before leaving, go to apartment B-303 and look on the
cupboard for a "Story Treasure Chest" magazine. Now get out of the building
and go to the road to the exit. Careful, since there's a sniper guarding the
exit at the exit point, so snipe him before leaving.

Mission 2: Bring back the memory of Ichiko Yagura.

To complete this Mission, you should have done:
Hide Ichiko near the Power Control Station as Takeaki Misawa at +13:00
Mission 2.

Go to the entrance of Building-A, and near the shack that is next to the
door you have to take, pick up the [Jasper Bracelet]. Now, go to Building-B,
to the western door, and go up to the roof. The door will be closed, but the
window is broken, so throw the bracelet to there. Now, go see Ichiko, then
run to apartment B-303. Sightjack Ichiko and wait until she gets to the roof
door, opens it, and watches the bracelet. Then, go to the roof and finish
the mission.

As a commentary, if you want to use the truck (Though you don't need to in
order to complete any mission), you'll need to find a battery first. The
battery is in the apartment B-302 (Thanks to Matt Ross for this)

[Yorito+18]
Yorito Nagai, 18:00/Shinari Mountain/Plyon #4 (Joint Struggle)

Mission 1: Reach the highest point of The Spider's Thread.

First, move forward, turn right and drop Down, then continue forward to see
a cutscene where Yorito and Mamoru split up. With Yorito, climb the stairs,
and keep climbing until you find a door blocked by a locker. Push the locker
to perform the "Action to begin Mamoru Itsuki's +22:27:08 Mission 2". Now
turn around and go through the other door. In front of you, a bit to the
left, is a edge you can climb. Do so, and continue climbing until you are
in an open corridor. Drop Down, and you will see a cutscene.

Now you will take control of Mamoru and you have to distract the sniper. Go
up the stairs, and keep climbing until you see a building and a gap between
the stairs and the building. Jump over the gap, go to the other side and
then drop Down. Inside the Office Building (the one you are now), Tomoe will
be patrolling, so be careful of not being seen by her. Climb the stairs and
go to the door. Crouch and sightjack Tomoe (while you watch out for the
yamireis). You can either wait until she looks away to kill her through her
back, or either lure her out and run for your life. Anyway, go to the lower
floor and pick up the [Hatchet] to perform the "Action to begin Mamoru
Itsuki's +22:27:08 Mission 2". On the Office Building Storeroom, Inspect
the painting hanging on the wall to get the "Pylon Drawings" on the Archive.
Now go up all the stairs on this building.

Once in the roof, turn right and look for a gap, where you should drop Down.
Keep moving forward until you find two ways: Go to the left path, kill the
yamirei, and go to the end of the path, where you must Shout in order to
distract the sniper so Yorito can kill him. Return to the two ways area and
go up the stairs. Move along the way, killing a couple of yamireis and one
yamibito, go up a next set of stairs, keep moving forward, then you will
face another selection of paths, with an SMG yamibito at your right. Kill
him and take the right path. Keep moving until you watch a cutscene and
finish the mission.

Mission 2: Destroy Tsuneo Ohta.

To complete this Mission, you should have done:
Get the [Vermillion Bracelet] as Mamoru Itsuki at +15:00 Mission 1.

You need to repeat all the steps of Mission 1, since the next section
follows what happened after the ending cutscene of Mission 1. When you jump
the gap, you may encounter a SMG yamibito in front of you, who can shoot you
to throw you down the ledge. Make him see you, go to the other side to lure
him out, and when he jumps out, kill him to pick up his SMG.

When Tsuneo appears, turn back and run away, going down all the stairs. When
the black fog is out, switch off your flashlight. Keep going down all the
stairs until you find two ledges where you can drop Down. Do so and hide
from Tsuneo in the eastern wall, then sightjack him. When he stops pursuing
you, he will turn back and walk all the way back to the entrance of the
building, then he will go to the way you took to the hiding spot until he
gets to the stairs, then he will repeat the pattern. When he starts going to
the entrance, climb up the path you came from until you find Tsuneo, then
shoot him while he has his back at you. You can kill him emptying a full SMG
magazine. If you don't kill him, repeat all the steps until he finally dies.

[Yorito+22]
Yorito Nagai, 22:00/Grade/Middle School (Blitz)

Mission 1: Destroy Hiroshi Okita.

You start nearby the main entrance of the school. First, Sightjack the
Kou-Yamibito. His route is to first jump to some platform, jump down, turn
to his left to see the Sea Turtle Statue, then turn back and go all the way
to the other side of the building to go around the corner, move a bit
forward and then return back to the beginning.

GoldSickle mentioned that Kou-Yamibitos can be killed by a shot in the big
head with the sniper rifle only if they are not in alert. If they do, they
can only be killed by shooting to the back.

When he leaves the truck, approach it only to find out that it has a flat
tire. You need to pick up some tools to fix this. Now go to the back of the
school, to the closest side of the rear gate, and look for a [Toolbox].
Kill the yamibito to pick up his [Military Shovel]. If you have picked up
the Time Capsule Map, keep reading. If not, skip to the next paragraph.
Once the kou-yamibito is going to the western side of the school, go to the
Sea Turtle Statue. Near it is a small, white, house-shaped box, and behind
it you will find the spot where you should dig out the Time Capsule, which
will be added to the Archive. Press X again to open the capsule to find out
the [Lighthouse Fuse], press X again to pick up the fuse and perform the
"Action to begin Yorito Nagai's +23:00:00 Mission 2".

Now, take the road down to the back yard, and, while being careful of not
being seen by other Kou-Yamibito, search for a [Floor Jack], which is near
the stuff covered with a blue sheet, near the road to the school. Once
you've got these two items, return to the truck (When the Kou-Yamibito isn't
nearby) and replace the tire. Get into the truck, (But be careful: when
getting inside the truck, the lights will be automatically turned on, and
the kou-yamibito can spot you if he's in the Sea Turtle Statue) and go
through the main gate, then take a left all the way to the Rabbit Hutch.
Just between the Rabbit Hutch and the blocked stairs is a wall where you can
park the truck, and then climb it to the top. At the position where there
was a sniper on Ichiko's mission you will find Okita. Kill him to finish the
mission.

Mission 2: Annihilate Yamirei and Destroy Hiroshi Okita.

To complete this Mission, you should have done:</pre><pre id="faqspan-2">
Find the Flare as Yorito Nagai at +02:00 Mission 1.
Start the Incinerator as Ichiko Yagura at +08:00 Mission 1.

This time the school's Kou-Yamibito changes his route. He climbs up and then
down the platform, look at the Sea Turtle Statue, but this time he takes the
ramp near the Gymnasium Storeroom, then he returns to the beginning of his
route pattern.

Check the car, then go down to get the [Floor Jack], then go to the area
where the [Toolbox] is, and pick it up when nobody is looking. Now return
through the road to the start point (If you are in the truck way, and the
Kou-Yamibito is at the Turtle Statue, stick to the far side of the area).

One quick thing about the car: If you skip the tire replace cutscene, you
may get your truck blocked due to a game bug, and you'll need to reset your
console (The bug stays even with Checkpoint, Restart, or going to Top Menu
and coming back).

Replace the wheel when this guy is coming back from the Sea Turtle. Now,
you have to start the killing spree among the Yamirei. First, go to the
yard and start killing Yamireis, but don't get caught by the Kou-Yamibito
or you'll be in deep trouble. Instead, try to snipe his big head from a
distance while he's not alerted. Now keep killing Yamireis until you are
prompted to "Climb to a higher area behind the School." In that moment, you
should get in the car, and when the Kou-Yamibito is going down the ramp,
move along the road with your lights off, park in the area you parked on
mission 1, near the Rabbit Hutch, and climb up. Go to the incinerator to
pick up the [Playground Key].

Now you have to defeat Okita again. This time, he's patrolling the
Playground area, so wait until he stops looking at the door jump Up the
ledge, open the door and kill him. He will drop a [Flare Gun]. You have to
shoot a flare at the stairs that lead to the Incinerator. Do it when the
Kou-Yamibito is at the other side of the school. After that, you have to
kill more Yamirei near the school. Do so, and you'll have to kill Okita
again, but he will be kind enough to come to you, so greet him as well.
When you kill him, it's mission complete, so if he's near the Kou-Yamibito,
avoid it while you shoot Okita.

[Yorito+23]
Yorito Nagai, 23:00/Yamijima Island/Shiofurihama (Decisive Battle)

Mission 1: Defeat Takeaki Misawa.

Yup, Takeaki is back from the dead, as a kou-Yamibito, and with and machine
gun, so this one can be tough. At the start, turn 180º and turn around the
corner, since he's going to greet you from the front. Keep running away and
checking out what path is he going to take until he forgets about you, then
he should go to the Lighthouse. When he has climbed the stairs, he should be
looking at the other end, so sneak to him and empty the SMG magazine while
you flash him. If you want another Archive item, go to the broken boat and
Inspect its name on the eastern side. If Takeaki doesn't die yet (Maybe
because of the difficulty), try to miss him and wait until he returns to his
pattern. He tends to stop for a long time in certain points, so use that
stops in your advantage.

Mission 2: Defeat Otoshigo.

To complete this Mission, you should have done:
Find the "Time Capsule Map" at Yorito Nagai at +14:00 Mission 1.
Find the [Lighthouse Fuse] as Yorito Nagai at +22:00 Mission 1.

This time you will face Otoshigo instead of Takeaki, but you will have now
the Machine Gun. First, go to the Lighthouse and use the fuse in the box
inside the lighthouse. Return to the ground, and shoot Otoshigo until he's
weaken (You will see a change of subtarget). Now he will start rolling
around, and this attack is lethal, so quickly get out of his way when he
rolls. The tank is the cylindrical pillar, so go there. You need to make
Otoshigo roll against the tank so he breaks it. Now you need to find a tool.
Go to the destroyed boat on the eastern side and turn on the generator. Go
to the other side of the boat and find a bulb. When Otoshigo is nearby,
throw him the bulb to kill him, finish the mission, and get one ending.

[Takeaki+04]
Takeaki Misawa, 04:00/Gold Mining Co. Housing (Apparition)

Mission 1: Reach the road to Yamijima Harbour.

All the enemies have firearms, so if you are not careful, you'll end up
filled with lead in one second. Snipe down the sniper in front of you, (he
is in a fixed position, if you see a moving shibito, shoot him as well). If
you sightjack the closest enemy, you will see that he's on the ground in the
back of the A building. Get the sniper view and wait until you see him to
shoot him. Now, move forward, take a left when you can and run to the exit.

Mission 2: Reunite with the girl.

To complete this Mission, you should have done:
Find the [Firing Device] as Yorito Nagai at -01:00 Mission 2.

First of all, you need to go to A-304. To get there, since the door's
locked, you need to go to A-301 and cross the balcony. Go to A-301. You may
encounter an SMG shibito while you come here, and another one at your back.
When you enter the building, look on the mailbox at your left and pick up an
[Apartment Key]. Now, go to the third floor, to A-301 and open the door to
the balcony. Okita will start bothering you again, now as a sniper in the
B-Building. You can't shoot at him there, so you'll need to go to where he
his and shoot him at a close distance. Leave the A-Building, being careful
of that pair of shibitos you dealt with before, because they will be up
again now. Go to the B-Building, and enter the east side, since the west
side has the door locked.

Check B-102 door to see that you can open it somehow, but you don't have
something. Go upstairs, to B-302, but careful with a shibito who is in the
stairs between the second and third floors. Get into B-302 and pick up an
[Electrical Cord]. Return to the B-102 door, taking care of any shibitos you
may encounter. Check the door in order to plant the Firing Device and the
Cord, but you still need something to make a bang. Go outside and look into
the shack next to the door. There you will find a gas canister, open the
valve to pump gas into B-102. Then, use the Firing Device to blast the door.

Get inside B-102, deal with the SMG shibito who's inside, go out to the
balcony and get inside B-104 (There's another shibito there). In the kitchen
you can find "Yaminabe", some food to add to the Archive. Go to the main
corridor and go upstairs to B-204, and open the door with the key you got
before. On the room that has a lamp on, pick up a box with [Light Bulbs]
in order to perform the "Action to begin Takeaki Misawa's +13:00:27 Mission
2". Now, get to the roof, sneak through Okita and shoot him down. Now, you
have to go back to room A-301, so do so, killing the shibitos you may
encounter. I'd recommend taking the western path. Open A-301's door to
finish the mission.

[Takeaki+13]
Takeaki Misawa, 13:00/Yamijima Island/Fort Ruins #1 (Nothingness)

Mission 1: Keep Ichiko Yagura alive and Escape from Fort Ruins.

First, use your sniper zoom to kill the yamibito who's stalking Ichiko. She
will then hide on the Power Control Station. Jump down (Don't worry, Takeaki
won't fall incorrectly) and go there, then Ichiko will run away, so follow
her until she crawls through a hole. The yamibito might have revived again,
so shoot him if you see him. When Ichiko's safe, you'll have to get out of
here, via the Tunnel at the other side of the blockade. Get into the
underground ruins via the north stairs and go near the Ammo Shaft area. Once
you are there, throw a Smoke Candle to the Ammo Shaft area, then get in
there to shoot the sniper yamibito. From that area, take the southwest path,
and from there, go to the North Barbette Remains. There, go up the stairs
to the roof of the ruins, then go to the south side of the roof to see the
other side of the yamibito blockade. Drop Down there, and go to the tunnel
to complete the mission.

Mission 2: Escape from Fort Ruins with Ichiko Yagura.

To complete this Mission, you should have done:
Pick up the [Light Bulbs] as Takeaki Misawa at +04:00 Mission 2.
Turn on the Power Control Station lamp as Shigeru Fujita at +05:00 Mission 1.

Shoot the yamibito, and then go to the Power Control Station to meet Ichiko
there. On this room, switch on the breaker in order to give power to the
underground tunnels, so you can use the Bulbs you have on the Bulb screws to
make a strategy against yamibitos. Get out, and ask Ichiko to "Hide" so she
picks up a key and perform the "Action to begin Yorito Nagai's +14:45:29
Mission 2". Now, get into the ruins with Ichiko. Go to the Weapons Storages
areas, via the north side, killing the yamibito who's looking at the back
(with the sniper scope) on the way. Just before you enter the area, install
a bulb so you can have some light for taking down the sniper shibito who's
in front of you. Move forward, and go to the narrow corridor between the
Weapons Storage #2 and #3, and at the end, turn off your flashlight, throw
a Smoke Candle, and you will find a shining, the "Ke-uke-gen", which will be
added to the Archive. Now, take the south stairs up, and go to the outside.
From there, get out of the stage like on Mission 1.

[Akiko+00]
Akiko Kiyota, 00:00/Yamijima Island/Houya (Uneasiness)

Mission 1: Reach the road to Uryuga Forest with Soji Abe.

Get into the truck. Here will come an small tutorial. Get the truck to the
apartment building B and press X. Climb the truck to the balcony, and get
inside apartment B-201. Inside you'll find a shiryo (a ghost), but these
things only get killed by light, so aim at him with your flashlight (Use R2
to aim at him better). In the kitchen you will find an [Umbrella]. Go down
to the ground floor and get inside apartment B-101, where you'll find Soji.
Now go back to the truck using the path you've crossed before and get into
the truck to unlock a cutscene, and pick up "Akiko's Driving License".

There's an sniper guarding the exit point, so you have to make a
distraction. But before that, we're going to do some exploration. Get out of
the truck and go to the east path, killing one shibito on the way, to the B
Building. Get to the door of A-301. It's locked, but the window near the
door is open, so get inside the apartment through the window, then go to the
living room, and pick up a [Camera] at the TV set to perform the "Action to
begin Soji Abe's +12:58:10 Mission 2". Now return back to the truck through
the path you've used to come in. Get into the truck, (which should be on
the south side), take it right in front of the sniper (West side of the
map), and honk the horn. After the cutscene, quickly exit the car and go to
the exit by rounding the B-Building.

Mission 2: Reach the road to Seresu.

To complete this Mission, you should have done:

This time, you won't need to worry about Soji. You will need to make use of
a new feature called Flashback. With this, you can see events of the past
when you are warned by a small orange blinking. At that point, use sightjack
to find the memory that is on that area, you can find it out since the
screen goes orange then.

Move a bit forward to have your first flashback. Check it out in order to
know what item you should search. Now, park the truck in the veranda of the
B-Building, climb it and pick up the [Umbrella] on B-201. Return to the
outside, go to the A-Building (There's a shibito in the east door of
B-Building, and two wandering around near the A-Building), enter the east
side and go to B-101 to have another flashback. On B-101 you won't find
anything useful, so go to the west side of the building. Go to A-204, get
to the balcony and use it to enter A-203. There, open the door to your left,
and then open the closet in order to find the "Robo Zoo", which will drop
the [Traffic Barrier Key]. Now go to the roof, deal with the shibito and
pick up the [Wire].

Get down to ground level, (careful with the sniper, he will probably spot
you) and go to the east path, and from there to the spot where the sniper
moved when you distracted him with the car on Mission 1. There you will
find some vegetation with fruits, Inspect it to add to the Archive the
"Yami Akebi". Now, return to the truck, get in there, and go to B-Building's
east path with it. There's a Barrier which you should remove with the key
you took before, and then move forward with the truck, so you can tie the
gate with the truck using the Wire. Open the gate to finish the mission.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
[Akiko+15]
Akiko Kiyota, 15:00/Yamijima Island/Aonoku Settlement (Wandering)

Mission 1: Destroy Ryuhei Mikami.

Move forward and go to Mikami's House. Once inside, move to the right and
check out a flowerpot which you can Inspect twice to get the [Backdoor Key].
Now go to the Back door of Mikami's House and open it. You will enter into
the kitchen. Look for a blue notebook, "Ryuhei's Notebook", over the fridge,
and pick up on the wall the [Anunnaki Remains (Claw)], which will perform
the "Action to begin Mamoru Itsuki's +22:59:27 Mission 2". Now, return to
the front door. Turn left and you will spot a Flashback. Check it out to
find the code of the shack's dial lock. Open the shack door to pick up a
[Trowel]. Get outside to see a cutscene.

Quickly run away to the Fishing Shack area, and from there go all the way
to the Shrine, killing one or two yamibitos on the way to there. Pick up
the [Mekkoju (Shu Mikami)]. Now, you have to return to Mikami's House to
kill Ryuhei. Turn around to see a path on the northwest. Along that route
there is a yamibito with a handgun, so kill him when he doesn't see you and
pick up his [9mm Handgun]. Now, time to catch Ryuhei. Return to the Fishing
Shack and Sightjack Ryuhei. He's the only one who speaks and at this point
of the stage he should be over a roof.

The following strategy is for when Ryuhei goes to the roof near the back
door of Mikami's house. When he doesn't see you, crouch and go to the back
door, sticking to it so Ryuhei doesn't see you. Ryuhei should drop down to
the street level, and go through the other way. With the flashlight off,
wait until he turns around the corner, then follow him and when you are at
close range or when you think he's going to turn around to spot you, aim
your flashlight at him and shoot him down. Normally, you should only need
a Handgun magazine to take him down.

When Ryuhei goes to the roof in front of Mikami's house, the trick may be in
getting inside the yard of Mikami's house, then wait until he has his back
turned at you.

Mission 2: Find out the secret of Kanae.

To complete this Mission, you should have done:
Switch on the Cable Lift as Soji Abe at +12:00 Mission 1.
See the area where Shu and Kanae escaped as Shu Mikami at -02:00 Mission 1.

To begin with, approach Mikami's house to pick up the [Trowel], but don't go
too near since Ryuhei will come out, have a look, and move to the other side
so when he does, go get the Trowel like on Mission 1. Now return to the
Fishing Shack and then through the other path. Kill the yamibito, pick up
his gun and move forward to have a Flashback. Search for it and then Inspect
the narrow path Kanae and Shu took to pick up the [Hand Rake]. This item is
a weapon as well, so don't take up any weapon when you have it selected.
Now return to the stairs and go up them. Keep moving ahead until you get a
Flashback near the Shrine. Watch it to see that you should check ou Asano's
House's Rear Door. Go there to have another Flashback. You'll need to use a
tool in order to open the door. Now go to the Cable Lift and pick up a
[Rope]. Now return to the door and use the Rope and the Hand Rake to unlock
the door. Go through it and move to the end of the path to pick up the knife
and finish the mission with a revelation.

[Soji+03]
Soji Abe, 03:00/Yamijima Island/Fort Ruins #1 (Stand-in)

Mission 1: Reach the road to Hidaru with Shu Mikami.

You'll have to guide Shu Mikami by looking at him (otherwise he can't see
himself and won't follow you). Get out of the tunnel, but stay there.
Sightjack the closest shibito, which is a sniper who controls the route you
must take. When he's looking at the other side, go to the space between the
two stairwells that go to the underground, then go to the Power Control
Station in order to hide Shu there. You may want to switch the breaker off
in order to fill the underground with darkness and try to sneak better.
When the sniper is not looking, Inspect the tall ledge that you have to
climb. You're needing some extra steps to go there. Near the edge there is
an open barrel you can use to climb up, but it's missing a lid. Now you
have to look around the area to find the lid.

Get into the underground level. There are two items you should pick up.
First go to the Weapons Storage #3 (There's a shibito inside the basement)
and pick up the [Oil Drum Lid], then, take the south stairs, turn left, and
move forward until you the path is blocked, search the blockade to find out
a [Storeroom Key] and you will perform the "Action to begin Soji Abe's
+19:28:17 Mission 2". Now you have to go back outside, but the path you took
to get in here is blocked right at the end by a shibito with an assault
rifle, so you need to find another way. Go to the other outside, to any
Barbette Remains, climb to the big open area where the sniper was (Since
he's gone), drop Down to the ground, place the lid in the drum, ask Shu to
"Come Here", and get out.

Mission 2: Find a fossil.

To complete this Mission, you should have done:

First, go out of the tunnel and leave Shu there. Hide from the sniper again,
but get inside Bunker 2 when the sniper isn't looking. There, grab the
[Scantling], and knock down the shibito. Inside Bunker 1 you will find the
[Wooden Bat], which is the tool to open paths. Return to the end of the
tunnel, ask Shu to "Come Back", and get into the underground. You need to go
to the basement, but you should take the route that passes through the Ammo
Shaft room, (sneak there) then go to the North Barbette Remains, and get
back into the underground to catch the SMG shibito from behind. Pick up his
SMG, and go to the basement. There's a shibito there, so take him out, and
go to the Weapons Storage #2 door, which is blocked. Use that bat of yours
to unblock the doorway, watch a cutscene, and finish the mission.

[Soji+12]
Soji Abe, 12:00/Yamijima Island/Shinari Mountain Trail (Dread)

Mission 1: Head towards Aonoku with Akiko Kiyota.

Move through the path and drop Down the ledge. Then, turn left, go around
the corner and open the gate in front of you. Go up the ladder and move to
the door. Open it to watch a cutscene, and right after this you will be
surrounded by some yamibitos. Kill them, and then go to the now open door,
then drop Down the ledge and move through the path. Jump over the gap, and
go down one floor. Open the door to the Work Room, but be careful, because
there's a Hunting Trap right in front of the door. Instead of falling on the
trap, Shout to call the yamibito so he falls on it, then knock him down.
Inside the Work Room, look on the desks for the [Cable Lift Key]. Go out
through the other door and go down the stairs, then turn right and go to the
Cable Lift (Careful with a sniping yamibito). Search for a closed box, use
the key you have and switch it on to perform the "Action to begin Akiko
Kiyota's +15:31:38 Mission 2". Return to the intersection, turn right and go
all the way to the exit.

Mission 2: Solve the mystery with Akiko Kiyota.

To complete this Mission, you should have done:
Pick up the [Camera] as Akiko Kiyota at +00:00 Mission 1.

This time, Akiko will start searching for Flashbacks, but she won't listen
to you, so you must follow her and protect her. To begin with, she will go
to the gate next to the Materials Warehouse, from there to the ladder and
then to the second floor of the Gold Mining Co. building, where there will
be lots of yamireis. They will probably surround Akiko, so switch the
flashlight and kill them before they kill Akiko. You can try to Shout them
so they change their target. When they are gone, go to the other door, drop
Down the ledge at your right, Jump the gap, and go to the lower floor, where
a yamibito will spot Akiko and start attacking her. Kill the yamibito and
let Akiko search on the gate to finish one area.

She will now go through the Work Room, and down the stairs, where a yamibito
will attack her from behind. Take him down, and Akiko will go then to the
Cable Lift, but there's another yamibito at the left path, so take him down
too. On the Cable Lift, Akiko will be there a while, and then she will move
to the Passage Hole area. There's a yamibito near the stairs that take to
the ground level (and you can turn on the streetlight so he can be hurt),
and another one will attack Akiko on the Passage Hole area, so deal with
them. After this, you'll need to go to the Materials Warehouse. Stop by
the Gold Mining Co. building, there, on the lower floor, is a breaker you
should turn on in order to have some lights on the Underground Passage.

Now, go to the Materials Warehouse, break and open the door, and pick up the
[Underground Passage Key]. That's the door at your right, when you exit the
Materials Warehouse. Go through it, but at the intersection the lights will
be turned off and four yamireis will ambush you. When you've dealt with the
yamireis, take the right path and search for a "Message Bottle" on the
water, now turn back and take the left path to go to the lighthouse, but
there's a yamibito with an assault rifle at the other end. Start running at
him with your flashlight on so he starts covering himself from the light,
and use the small time you have to kill the yamibito and finish the mission.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
[Soji+19]
Soji Abe, +19:00/Yamijima Gold Dredge (Agony)

Mission 1: Escape to the road to Houya.

Start by hiding behind one of the train carts. There is a sniper in the
upper area, so sightjack him. When he turns around, advance to a nearby
cart, then at the spot the sniper is, but on the ground floor, so he doesn't
see you. You next need to go to the Incline Control Room, but first
sightjack a yamibito who is coming down the stairs and will continue going
down to the basement. When he is going to the basement, and when the sniper
has just turned to look at the other side, quickly crouch run to the stairs,
and then to the Incline Control Room. In a wall near a big machine you will
find some buttons, so press them and the trolley will come up. Now get out
and, while you avoid the sniper and the stairs yamibito, go to the ground
floor, turn to the other side of the rails, climb up and start the trolley.

After your arrival, you'll need to get out of there, but there's another
sniper in front of the Break Room and another yamibito inside the same door.
At the wall to your left, if you move forward you will find a breaker, turn
it on to shower the sniper with light, that will make him retreat to the
outside, where he might be killed by the light. Meanwhile, knock down the
yamibito in the Break Room, then, if the sniper is dead, go to the exit.

Mission 2: Reunite with the dog.

To complete this Mission, you should have done:
Find the [Storeroom Key] as Soji Abe at +03:00 Mission 1.
Remove the loose board on the Blower Machine Room as Mamoru Itsuki at
+00:00 Mission 1.

Repeat the first section of Mission 1's walkthrough. When you arrive, you'll
have to find Shu Mikami's ghost, so sightjack him in order to see him in the
Storeroom. Shake off the sniper as before and get quickly into that room to
see Shu. Pick up the [Dog Whistle] from the shelf and return to the incline,
before the sniper returns (Because this time he will come back and shoot at
the lights, and then patrol the area near the trolley). Go to the basement,
to the guardhouse, get into it and pick up the [Blower Machine Room Key].
Kill the stairs yamibito if you encounter him, and be careful with the
yamirei. Now, go to the Blower Machine Room (Careful with a hunting trap
placed at the top of the stairs), open the room and use the Dog Whistle.
Now you have to follow the dog, towards the basement, and to the wreckage.
Mission complete.

[Shigeru-05]
Shigeru Fujita, -05:00/Yamijima Gold Dredge (Omen)

Mission 1: Reach the road to Houya.

You have a revolver, but only 25 bullets, so don't waste them. You should
first find a flashlight. Go to the Blower Machine Room to pick up the
[Guardhouse Key] and a [Hammer] next to the entrance. Now go to the
Guardhouse on the basement, open the door and pick up the [Flashlight]. Now
that you are correctly equipped, go to the Steel Door. There you will see a
cutscene. Prepare to meet the shiryos, the ghosts. These bastards can only
be hurt with light, so when you want to attack one, aim at him with your
flashlight. Go to the Storeroom and grab from the shelf a [Wire] to perform
the "Action to begin Ichiko Yagura's +1:20:19 Mission 2". Now get out and
go to the outside, running away from the shiryos, to complete the mission.

Mission 2: Find the ferry.

To complete this Mission, you should have done:

Repeat all the steps of Mission 1 until you get to the Steel Door. Run to
the Ore-Processing Plant to pick up on a desk the [Incline Control Room Key]
and then run back to that room. To go there, you must return to the first
section of this stage and take the stairs up to a upper platform. Unlock the
Incline Control Room door, then move forward and turn right to see some
stairs, then go up them and proceed to the next room to finish the mission.

[Shigeru+05]
Shigeru Fujita, 05:00/Yamijima Island/Fort Ruins #1 (Reunion)

Mission 1: Escape from Fort Ruins with Ichiko Yagura.

First of all, shoot down Tsuneo Ohta. Now, turn back and go into the tunnel,
to the bottom of it, to Inspect on the door "Tsukasa's Dog Collar" (thanks
to caro c moua for pointing it out). Now, go to the Power Control Station.
There, switch the breaker off to turn off the lights on the underground, but
turn on the light of this room (near the doorway) to perform the "Action to
begin Takeaki Misawa's +13:00:27 Mission 2". Now, enter the underground
tunnel via the northern stairs. Go to the Ammo Shaft area, and you will see
a short cutscene while you're going there. Now go into the northwest or the
southwest path to get outside. Go up the stairs. Look on the map for some
debris on the northern side of this area and ask Ichiko to Hide there, so
she can find a key and perform the "Action to begin Ichiko Yagura's +8:50:32
Mission 2".

Now, you need to return to the underground via the northwest path of the
North Barbette Remains. Walk forward with the flashlight off and shoot down
the shibito with an SMG. On the stairs to the left of this area you will
find a [Military Shovel]. Now go to the basement, to the Weapons Storages
area, and go to the other side (Careful with a revolver shibito who is
nearby). Go upstairs, and go to the right, then take the first left to see
that the path is blocked by a sand mountain. Use the shovel to remove the
sand, then go forward to the South Observation Post. Climb the border and
find the path nearby, go through it to finish the mission.

Mission 2: Reach Weapon Storage #2 with Ichiko Yagura.

To complete this Mission, you should have done:

Kill Tsuneo Ohta, switch the breaker off on the Power Control Station, go to
the Ammo Shaft, take the northwest path, go to the other side, shoot the SMG
shibito from his back, and go to the basement. Inside Weapon Storage #2
you will find another SMG shibito, so pop to the door and shoot the shibito
without leaving him a chance. Get inside the room with Ichiko and finish
the mission.

[Ichiko+01]
Ichiko Yagura, 01:00/Bright Win/Freight Room (Loss)

Mission 1: Escape to Forward Deck.

First of all, you will sometimes will receive an spotted alarm, but don't
worry, because it's another person in the boat, a policeman, but you won't
find him until Mission 2.

You first need to go to the Wheelhouse. Go to the elevator and sightjack the
shibito who's looking at the elevator buttons on the other floor. When he's
going away, call the elevator and take it up. When you are there, sightjack
the same shibito. Wait until he's going down the stairs to move forward, and
turn right to take some stairs up, but only walk a couple of steps, since
there's a shibito on the next floor who's looking at the stairs. Wait until
he looks somewhere else and keep going upstairs (The ones of the right too)
until you get to the Wheelhouse. Once you are there, look on the table which
is placed in the wall to pick up the [Cabin Key] and "Riko's Record" CD.
If you hear the phone ringing, answer it, but if don't, forget about it.

Before leaving, we need to do some Key Items hunting. Get out of the
Wheelhouse via the other set of stairs (South ones), and wait behind the
corner. Sightjack the shibito who's seeing the corridor, and when he looks
at the stairs, go to that corridor and hide in the first small corridor at
your right. Now sightjack the shibito who's wandering around the 1st floor
corridors. When he's going to look at the open cabin, open the door and go
to the north corridor, and without being seen, get into the Third-Class
Cabin to pick up, near the towels, the [Fishing Line and Hook] to perform
the "Action to begin Ichiko Yagura's +8:50:32 Mission 2". Sightjack again
the shibito and wait until he's leaving the area to go to the door you came
in to quickly sneak into the Second-Class Cabin, and look on the bunks on
your left for an "Origami Letter", then quickly get out and go to the Third-
Class Cabin, and from there to the Entrance.

Go to the door at the far left, then go from there to the Starboard Deck.
Right as you enter look left and you will see behind a wire fence a Crank
Handle. Pick it up and use it on the Boad Davit to perform the "Action to
begin Yorito Nagai's +02:34:02 Mission 2". Now, go to the Forward Deck to
complete this mission.

Mission 2: Escape from the ferry with Shigeru Fujita.

To complete this Mission, you should have done:
Complete Mission 2 as Shigeru Fujita at -05:00.

Quickly hide behind the door wall, since the shibito is coming down in the
elevator. Wait until he comes, turns back and takes the elevator up, and
wait until crosses the doorway to call the elevator, from there repeat the
procedure of Mission 1, until you find the Wheelhouse. Take the key and
Inspect the phone. Wait until it rings to see a cutscene. (And to make a
checkpoint) Now you know your new destination, you should go there. Repeat
the steps to get to the Entrance from Mission 1, but this time, when you go
to the far left door, go down the stairs. Since the door is locked, Shout to
get Fujita's attention and open the door.

Before leaving, go to the Engine Control Room to take out the weapons the
shibito had (and kill him if he wakes up), then go into sightjack and find
a new shibito (On the second floor of the Entrance). Once you get near him,
he will start running away, and boy he's real fast on his feet. Try to kill
him and take out his [Trophy]. Go up one of the set of stairs, and about at
two thirds of it, return down and get him (You can try at this spot). If
you don't he will run to the Wheelhouse, opening any of the doors, but
going to the South stairs of the Wheelhouse (If you get in the sniper's
way, you may get only one shot if you keep running) I've managed to get
him stuck there, then I killed him with two blows of the Crowbar.

Go upstairs, to the Wheelhouse, and wait until things cool down a bit
before going back to the Entrance. Go there, and return with the cop. Now
go through the hallway that leads to the Engine Control Room, go to the
Portside area, go up the stairs, where you should find an open doorway you
can take to get out and finish the mission.

Federico Bartali has a different strategy to catch the trophy shibito:
"First of all I waited for Shigeru killing the Shibito and take his weapon.
Then in the main entrance I went up to the stairs giving the back to the
stairs and watching the main open door (where the shibito will run when you
will go too near to him). Make slow steps and suddenly sigthjack him. Follow
the operation (step+sigthjack), until he will start running. Then go to the
main door (you will arrive before him) and kill him."
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
[Ichiko+08]
Ichiko Yagura, 08:00/Yamijima Island/Shiofurihama (Lone Shadow)

Mission 1: Hide in Stage Storeroom.

Move forward from the start until a short cutscene shows you that the truck
is now manned by Okita, and will be running around all the stage. Stick to
one of the sides to avoid being rammed away. Now run to the Main Gate, and
Climb over it. Now hide behind the Sea Turtle Statue and wait until the
truck comes out and hits down a shibito with a [Frying Pan] (which means
that you should avoid detection until that moment). Run to the ramp and stay
close to it until the truck comes again, then pick up the frying pan. Now go
to the back side of the school. Take the small stairs that lead directly to
the Playground to see that there is a sniper at the top of them, so you need
to make a distraction. Go down the stairs and go to the Rabbit Hutch door.
It's locked, but there's a shibito near the Incinerator who is going up and
down the stairs. When she's on the ground level, knock her out and go up the
stairs, crouched.

You need to go to the Incinerator and start it to make the distraction, but
you must stick to the left wall, otherwise the sniper will detect and shot
you. Once the Incinerator is up and running, you will perform the "Action to
begin Yorito Nagai's +22:28:44 Mission 2". Run back to the stairs, take them
down and sightjack the sniper shibito to make sure he's leaving his sniper
spot, then go up the other set of stairs, take a right and open the door.
Go to the back side of the Stage Storeroom building, smash the window and
get inside to complete this stage.

Mission 2: Escape from Grade/Middle School.

To complete this Mission, you should have done:
Pick up the [Fishing Line and Hook] as Ichiko Yagura at +01:00 Mission 1.
Make Ichiko find a key as Shigeru Fujita at +05:00 Mission 1.

Sightjack the nearby shibito and wait until she looks somewhere else of the
path you have to take, and then go to the Main Gate and jump it as before.
Grab the Frying Pan, and this time go to the Rabbit Hutch. Open the door and
if the shibito didn't spotted you, hide in the northwest corner of this
place. When she's away or she's down, inside the Hutch pick up a [Cutting
Knife]. Now, you must repeat all the steps to lure the sniper to the
Incinerator and then go to the Stage Storeroom.

In the Stage Storeroom, on the window area there is a window blocked by a
curtain. Smash the window, cut the curtain with the knife, and pick up the
[Nail Box]. In the front of the Storeroom you should find a book called
"Yamijima History Book". Now, you need to go outside, but the sniper has
moved to the end of the stairs you took to get here. So, you need to go
forward and drop Down to the Incinerator area. Wait there until the other
shibito goes upstairs and knock her out. Before leaving, look at the side of
the Incinerator to pick up the "Student's Picture Diary". Then, go down the
stairs, and in the ground at your left, Scatter the nails to set up a trap
agains the truck driver.

The car will be stopped at the front of the school, and when he spots you,
he will move towards the trap, so don't get on his way. Once he steps on the
trap, the truck will bust down the side path that leads you to the exit, and
will unleash some yamireis around and start a fight between shibitos and
yamireis. You must go to this exit now, but the sniper is still on his
position, so go to the nails place, crouch, and sneak to the sniper to take
him down, then take the newly opened path, watch how Okita is eaten, and
keep moving forward, avoiding all the yamireis, to the exit.

Shu Mikami, -03:00/Aonoku Settlement/Mikami's House, 2nd floor (Tragedy)

Mission 1: Find Ryuhei Mikami.

Start by looking down to your bed and pick up the "Mermaid Princess Story".
Now go through the door, go down the stairs, and watch the cutscene.

Mission 2: Escape from Aonoku settlement.

To complete this Mission, you should have done:

First of all, go to the wall to the right of the open window, find the
closet, and pick up the [Robo Beast] to get his Archive item and to perform
the "Action to begin Kanae's -1:50:46 Mission 2". Now go out through the
open window. Turn left, and wait until you see a flashlight beam. When it
turns to the other side, sneak behind the fisherman and hide in Mikami's
House steps. When he returns, and goes away, quickly go to the Fishing
Shack. From there get into the river, turn right and look for an old paper,
which is the "Fisherman's Note". Now, get out (being careful of not being
seen by the fisherman who patrols the other path, and stay near the Fishing
Shack, looking at the path you took to come here. Wait again for the light,
and when it dissappears, go to the path (without being spotted by the
fisherman) and hide again in Mikami's House steps. When he goes to the other
side, run to the right and round Mikami's House until you find Kanae.

Follow Kanae until she stops, then you will see a cutscene. Turn left to
follow Kanae, but first pick up near the beginning of the stairs a [Empty
Can]. Now follow Kanae until you see another cutscene. Give Kanae the can,
and when she calls you, follow her to the next hiding spot. Behind Kanae is
an open door, cross it and search over the corner of the building to find a
switch. Since you can't reach it, return to Kanae and tell her about the
switch. She will push the switch to distract the fisherman, when she gets
out of the door, she'll prompt you to lead the way, so do so until you reach
the Cable Lift.

[Shu-02]
Shu Mikami, -02:00/Yamijima Island/Aonoku Settlement (Chance Meeting)

Mission 1: Escape from Aonoku Settlement.

This character is somewhat blind, and though you can see a bit, you'll need
the help of your guide dog, Tsukasa, to move around. Sightjack the dog and
press R3 (The right analog stick) to switch controls so you can control Shu
while Tsukasa follows you.

Close the main door and pick up the [Shoehorn] in the shelf near the main
door. Climb the ledge and move towards the room with a light on, and check
the shelf to pick up the "Letter to Ryuhei". Now go to the second floor, to
the bedroom, and in front of the door you should find, over a shelf, "Shu's
Cassette". Now go to the main door, leave the house, and go to the left, to
the Fishing Shack. Now go through the path that's near the Fishing Shack,
but stop at the first "T" junction, since there's a fisherman watching the
area. Get closer to the junction until you see on the screen "X: Guard".
This will make the dog to cross the junction (Enemies won't attack Tsukasa),
and then Tsukasa will look at Shu and the fisherman, so sightjack the dog,
and when the fisherman doesn't look, crouch and move forward.

Continue ahead until you see some steps, Inspect the left area to to perform
the "Action to begin Akiko Kiyota's +15:31:38 Misión 2". Go up the stairs
and in the end you will see the Guard command again. Use it and wait until
Tsukasa gets in place. Now, go to the left and hide in the nearby shack. On
the next area, there are two fishermen patrolling a square area, one after
another. When one of the fishermen shows up and turn his back to you, follow
him until he turns at his right, in that moment continue forward to finish
the Misión.

Mission 2: Find treasure and Escape from Aonoku Settlement.

To complete this Mission, you should have done:

Repeat all the steps of Mission 1 (Except the archive data and the Action to
open Mission 2 if you did before) until you get to the part of the two
fishermen patrolling. Follow one fisherman, but this time, when he turns
right, you do so and keep following him until you find a junction. Go to the
left, to the Scrap Material Dump. Once you are there, Search the area with
the dog to find out the treasure, "Shu's Drawing". But there will be a small
problem and now you'll have to run away from a Shibito without the dog.
Don't panic, just move a bit forward, turn left about 90º and start running.

[Kanae-01]
Kanae, -01:00/Yamijima Harbour/Old Road (Fleeing)

Mission 1: Reach Dolphin Pier with Shu Mikami.

First, Sightjack the fisherman who is in the junction of the path to the
Cable Lift, and that looks to a streetlight. When he turns around, move
forward until you see a set of stairs at your left. Go up them, quickly go
up the set of stairs right at your left (Turn 180º) and go up them to hide
yourself. Now, you have to distract this fisherman. When he doesn't look,
go to the streetlight, turn it off (With the box right in front of it),
and hide back again. The fisherman will go to the streetlight, turn it on
again, and leave to do some other business. When he leaves, go down this
set of stairs, turn left, move forward until you find a path to the left,
and move through that path to find Shu hiding behind some barrels.

Now try to go to the Work Room, but you'll be spotted by Tsuneo Ohta. He'll
stop for a few seconds to call his people, so use this time to go up the
stairs, into the Work Room, and hide with Shu behind the tables. Ohta will
go inside the room, then he will leave through the other door to speak with
a fisherman, then he'll return to the stairs. When Ohta leaves, go through
the closed door, turn right and check out the gate, then Send Shu to get
the key. Shu will open the gate. Now run to the Dolphin Pier and open the
gate to finish this mission.

Mission 2: Reach Yamijima Lighthouse with Shu Mikami.

To complete this Mission, you should have done:
Pick up the [Robo Beast] as Shu Mikami at -02:00 Mission 2.

First of all, you need to knock down Tsuneo Ohta. For that, you need to go
to the stairs that lead to the Work Room, but get under them and Sightjack
Tsuneo. When he crosses the first and open door, crouch, go up the stairs,
into the room, and hide behind the tables. Wait until Tsuneo checks the
gate, returns to the room you are, and when he leaves the room, go through
the door to your right and go up the stairs. Get into the Pressure Machine
Room, and in there, Inspect the pipes and turn his valve to perform the
"Action to unlock Mission 2 for Mamoru Itsuki at -3:50:52". Now turn around
and you will see some pots. Grab one, get out, and go to the ledge at your
left. Sightjack Tsuneo and wait until he checks the gate, and then he will
turn around and look to the ledge. When he's in position, Throw him the pot.
That will knock him unconscious for the rest of the stage.

CHIPS had another strategy to knock down Tsuneo Ohta: "One easier way to
make Tsuneo unconscious is to push him off the ledge.  To do this, at the
start of the mission, rush up the stairs that leads to the Work Room. Tsuneo
will no doubt see you, and chases you.  Making sure Tsuneo is following you,
go up to the 2nd floor ledge, and jump the ledge.  Afterwards, press the
left joystick backward twice to turn around.  Tsuneo will follow suit and
jump the ledge after you.  Right after he jumps the ledge to you side, push
him off the ledge by R1 and X.  He will be knocked out until the mission is
completed."

Now, time to meet with Shu Mikami. Go to the Cable Lift to find Shu. Now go
back to the 2nd floor ledge and jump it, then use the nearby Signboard to
make a bridge so Shu can come with you (And you will get the Archive item
"Protest Sign"). Don't go too far though, since there's another fisherman in
the area. Wait until the alarm system stops to follow the path, climb the
ledge, open the door, get inside with Shu, and close the door again. Now
you'll have to distract the fisherman, but first pick up the "Employee's
Journal" from the nearby desk. Go to the first floor and you will find a
"Portable Radio", but without a battery. When the fisherman is looking at
the Materials Warehouse, Use the item again to place a battery, then run to
the stairs. Wait until the fisherman hears the noise and looks to the radio,
then crouch and leave through the 1st floor door, then run away to the
tunnel at the left of the Materials Warehouse. Go through it until you face
two paths. Take the right one and go near the sea to see a little turtle on
your left. Save the turtle (This will allow you to pick up an archive item
on Mamoru Itsuki's -03:00 Mission 2). Now go back, take the left path, and
continue forward to finish the mission.

namakemono pointed out that he found Shu on Mission 2 behind some barrels
under the stairs where Tsuneo catches you on Mission 1, so it could be
possible that Shu's hiding spot is random, and it can be either on the Cable
Lift shack, behind the barrels on the side path, or under the stairs
mentioned.

   6.2.- After beating all the missions

If you have beaten all the game's missions, you have files #001-097, and
only Mamoru/Ikuko and Yorito endings, you have beaten the game with the Easy
difficulty, but there's still some loose ends to find out.

(If you play on Easy). Go to options and switch the difficulty level to
Normal, replay an ending and you will automatically unlock the
"Annihilation" mission, on the unnamed column, at the bottom of the table.
Beat this stage once to obtain files 099 and 100, and have a nice surprise.

Annihilation consists purely on killing enemies until you are killed or if
you run out of time. It's just a bonus level, but gives a bit of light on
what happened to this character.

After beating Annihilation, you should have opened a new Movie Stage with
Soji Abe, which is the third and final ending. This should give you the file
#098, and it will change file #069. That was all left to do on Easy.

If you want the two missing stages, you'll have to beat the game again,
twice: Once at "Time Trial Mode" (you can do it on Normal) and again on
Hard Difficulty.
