Occasionlly people on gamefaqs ask question about Shinra's Dossier list,
and there has been no FAQ to help them with there queries. Recently Chronicle2
on gamefaqs requested a dossier FAQ to be written, so I decided to answer
this by writing my first ever FAQ. Hopefully, this will help some people.
If you don't know, Shinra is the Al Bhed boy who is often sitting down
at the computer-like terminal on the airship. Talk to him and pick the fourth
option to get to Shinra's dossier.
Below in section 3 you will see a list of the people as they appear in the
dossier. If you want to go directly to a particular person, use the numbers to
the left of that person and use the control F function.
Under each person you will see three things which I explain below.
i - How to get X - The most important thing, as if you follow what is says here
you will get that person in your dossier. As far as I can see, I have covered
all possibilities you can do to get that person in your dossier. If you are in
a particular chapter and have not got that person in your dossier yet, check
the list to see if you can still get them. Keep in mind once you have got the
person in your dossier, the rest of the information on how to get that person
becomes redundant. Also, if the person has an asterisks, "*", next to their
name it means you are guaranteed of getting them if your dossier.
ii - Voice - When you select a person from your dossier you will always get
two different comments, usually from the person you just selected. What they
say is listed for you. Keep in mind I have written down the comments down to
the best of my ability, so there maybe some mistakes. With a few exceptions,
they say lines from the script in the game.
iii - Description - The description that is written about the person when you
select them in your dossier.

How to get Yuna:- In Chapter 1 as soon as you have control of Yuna for the
first time, Yuna is in Shinra's Dossier.
Voice:- Yuna saying, "Why be a sphere hunter when what I am hunting for cannot
be found?"

Yuna saying, "The eternal calm, I can feel it crumbling, falling away from
beneath our feet."
Description - A young lady once willing to throw all she had away to defeat
Sin. But is the new Yuna prepared to do the same should she stand against
Vegnagun?

How to get Rikku:- In Chapter 1 as soon as you have control of Yuna for the
first time, Rikku is in Shinra's Dossier.

Rikku saying, "Hey I gotta idea, we can be your friendly neighborhood
Gullwings."
Description - A girl troubled by Vegnagun, but even more troubled by Yuna's
reaction to this new menace. Is Yuna prepared once again to give her life for
Spira? Rikku would not approve.

How to get Paine:- In Chapter 1 as soon as you have control of Yuna for the
first time, Paine is in Shinra's Dossier.

what's to come."

Paine saying, "The three of them were candidates for the Crimson Squad, and
I was the recorder assigned to their team."
Description - Once a recorder for the Crimson Squad, and also an old friend of
Nooj, Baralai, and Gippal. She joined the Gullwings hoping to find answers to
why the Squad collapsed.

How to get Nooj:- In Chapter 1 just before the Awesome Sphere Heist Mission in
Kilika Island, Nooj will give a speech. He will then appear in Shinra's
Dossier the first chance you get to check in chapter 2.

Nooj saying, "Spira is in for a rough ride, take care."

Description - Meyvn of the Youth League, and once a candidate for the Crimson
Squad.His pursuit of Vegnagun has taken him far from his adoring LeBlanc.

x005 Baralai *
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
How to get Baralai:- In Chapter 2 if you give the Awesome Sphere to New Yevon,
Baralai will appear in Shinra's Dossier after this scene.
In Chapter 2 if you sided with the Youth League, you will
meet Baralai when you do the Infiltrate Bevelle mission near the end of the
chapter. First chance you get to check the dossier in Chapter 3 will reveal
that Baralai is there.
Voice over when you select Baralai :-
Baralai saying, "Touche, yes I suppose Yevon has brought that distrust upon
itself."
or
'Baralai' saying, "The end is not far now."
Description - Praetor of New Yevon, and once a candidate for the Crimson Squad.
He has retreated deep into the Farplane along with Vegnagun.

x006 Gippal *

How to get Gippal:- In Chapter 1 beam down to Djose and wait in line to get an
interview with Gippal. Once inside the temple you will follow him out to get
the Introduction Letter. After you have done this, Gippal will appear in
Shinra's Dossier.
In Chapter 2 beam down to Djose and you will see a scene
with Gippal. After the scene he will appear in Shinra's dossier. You must go
here to proceed as you need the Letter of Introduction to get the uniform from
Bikanel.
Voice over when you select Gippal :-
Gippal saying, "It's under control."
or
Gippal saying, "The four of us go way back."
Description - Leader of the Machine Faction, and once a candidate for the
Crimson Squad. His pursuit of Vegnagun has led him into the deepest reaches
of the Farplane.

x007 Leblanc *

How to get Leblanc:- In Chapter 1, Leblanc will appear in the Dossier after
the you do the Mystery on top of the Mountain mission.

Description - A sphere hunter and leader of the Leblanc Syndicate. Could she

Description - A sphere hunter and member of the Leblanc Syndicate. He is
fiercely devoted to Leblanc, whom he calls "the boss."

Brother saying, "Incoming data! Gullwings, to your stations!" (In Al Bhed)
Description - Rikku's older brother and leader of the Gullwings. He learned
our language out of an intense desire to speak with Yuna. But when overly
stimulated, he slips back into Al Bhed...

Where to get it:- In Chapter 1 as soon as you have control of Yuna for
the first time, Buddy is in Shinra's Dossier.

Yuna saying, "Buddy and Brother are old friends. Buddy says he was aboard
Cid's airship with us two years ago."
Description - Brother's childhood friend, and for all intents and purposes the
Gullwing's Number Two. As down-to-earth as he may be, from time to time he
says things really out of this world.

Where to get it:- In Chapter 1 as soon as you have control of Yuna for the
first time, Shinra is in Shinra's Dossier.

Yuna saying, "Shinra is an Al Bhed, he's a real whiz kid."
Description - An Al Bhed wunderkind. Underneath that mask, is he pondering his
next invention...or Spira's future?

Where to get it:- In Chapter 1 as soon as you have control of Yuna for the
first time, Barkeep is in Shinra's Dossier.

Yuna saying, "Our Barkeep is a Hypello."
Description - A Hypello who has worked aboard the Celsius since Brother took
him in. His most likely unremarkable past remains shrouded in mystery.

x014 Wakka *

Where to get it:- In Chapter 1 you must beam down to Besaid, as you enter the
village wou will get a scene with Wakka.
Voice over when you select Wakka :-
Wakka saying, "I'm gonna be a father soon. Gotta have a little more presence,
you know."
or
Wakka saying, "The Gullwings, huh."
Description - A blitzball player who once served as Yuna's guardian. With the
fierce battle with Sin behind him, Wakka is now bracing himself for the
fiercer battle of fatherhood.

x015 Lulu *
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Where to get it:- In Chapter 1 you must enter the middle tent on the right
and talk to Lulu to continue the mission. She will be in the dossier after you
have done this.
Voice over when you select Lulu :-
Lulu saying, "You're the high summoner that defeated Sin. There are those who
would use that Yuna."
or
Lulu saying, "I'm not there, so you can spread your wings."
Description - A black mage who supported Yuna as a guardian, and more
importantly, as a sister of sorts. She lives on Besaid Island with her
husband, Wakka.

x016 The Aurochs
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Where to get it:- In Chapter 1, if you enter the last tent on your left in
Besaid village. The Aurochs are in this tent and will appear in the dossier
if you enter the tent.
In Chapter 2, just beam down to Besaid and the Aurochs will
appear in the dossier.
In Chapter 3, if you enter the last tent on your left as you
enter Besaid village. The Aurochs are in this tent and will appear in the
dossier if you enter the tent.
In Chapter 5 beam down to Besaid and go to the beach where
you will see The Aurochs playing. They will appear in your dossier regardless
of whether you talk to them or not. You must talk to Wakka and Lulu in Besaid
village to get the keepa to appear with the other Auchochs on the beach. The
Aurochs do not appear in the dossier without the keepa present.
Note: There are several scenes with the Aurochs in Besaid, which you can view
through the CommSpheres in Chapter 4. Viewing these scenes will not get the
Aurochs to appear in the dossier.
Voice over when you select The Aurochs :-
The Aurochs saying, "Captain."
or
The Aurochs saying, "Victory (eight times), Yeah!"
Description - Besaid's blitzball team, the Besaid Aurochs. Its members include
Datto, Letty, Jassu, Botta, and Keepa.

x017 Lucil
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Where to get it:- In Chapter 1 beam down to Mushroom Rock Road and do the
Foggy Fiend Frenzy mission, which will give you access to the Youth League
headquarters. Go to the entrance of the headquarters and talk to Lucil, which
will give you a scene. After the scene she will appear in the dossier.
In Chapter 2, if you chose the Youth League, go the Youth
League Headquarters and you will see a scene with Elma and Lucil. She will
appear in the dossier after this scene.
In Chapter 3 beam down to Mushroom Rock Road and you will
have a scene with Yaibal and Lucil. You will get a similar scene whether you
have chosen New Yevon or the Youth League. Regardless Lucil will appear in the
dossier.
In Chapter 5 beam down to Mushroom Rock Road and enter the
pathway to have a scene with Lucil and Elma where they talk about the Youth
League tournament. After this scene Lucil will appear in the dossier. You
don't need to do the tournament for this to happen. If you sided with New
Yevon you will still get the scene with Elma and Lucil, but they will not
offer for you to go into the Youth League tournament because of your
questionable affiliation. Either way Lucil will be in the dossier.
Note: - You can view scenes with Lucil in Mushroom Rock Road (if you sided
with the Youth League) and in the hot springs in Mt Gagazet during Chapter 4
through the CommSpheres. These scenes will not allow Lucil to appear in the
dossier.
Voice over when you select Lucil :-
Lucil saying, "As you can see, I have joined the Youth League to aid in the
fight for a new Spira. I consider it my duty."
or
Lucil saying, "I am Lucil, commander of the Youth League forces."
Description - Former Crusader and Chocobo Knight. She holds the Youth League
together admirably as Nooj's right-hand woman, but the group's explosive
nature complicates her efforts.

x018 Elma
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Where to get it:- In Chapter 1 beam down to Mushroom Rock Road and do the
Foggy Fiend Frenzy mission. At the end of the mission you will encounter Elma.
After this encounter she will appear in the dossier.
In Chapter 2, if you sided with the Youth League, go the
Youth League Headquarters and you will see a scene with Elma and Lucil. She
will appear in the dossier after this scene.
In Chapter 2, if you chose New Yevon, go to Mushroom Rock
Road and do the, Who Needs an Invitation mission. At the end of the mission you
will fight Elma. After this encounter, she will be in your dossier.
In Chapter 5 beam down to Mushroom Rock Road and enter the
pathway to have a scene with Lucil and Elma where they talk about the Youth
League tournament. After this scene Elma will appear in the dossier. You don't
need to do the tournament for this to happen. If you sided with New Yevon you
will still get the scene with Elma and Lucil, but they will not offer for you
to go into the Youth League tournament because of your questionable
affiliation. Either way Elma will be in the dossier.
Note: - You can view scenes with Elma in the Moonflow and in the hot springs
in Chapter 4 through the CommSpheres. These scenes will not allow Elma to
appear in the dossier.
Voice over when you select Elma :-
Elma saying, "Oh, wow, Lady Yuna."
or
Elma saying, "It's me, Elma, its been so long. Wow, you've really changed."
Description - Former Crusader and Chocobo Knight. She was quick to follow
Lucil in joining the Youth League.

x019 Clasko
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Where to get it:- In Chapter 1 beam down to Mushroom Rock Road to get a scene
with Yaibal and Clasko. Clasko will appear in the dossier after this scene.
In Chapter 2 beam down to Mushroom Rock Road and encounter
the Youth League. You will have a scene with Yaibal and Clasko. After this
scene Clasko will appear in your dossier. It does not matter if you chose New
Yevon or the Youth League, however, if you chose New Yevon you will only get a
scene with Yaibal with Clasko in the background. This does that affect getting
Clasko in the dossier.
Note: - You can view a scene of Clasko in the hot springs in Mt Gagazet in
Chapter 4. Viewing this scene will not allow Clasko to appear in the dossier.
Voice over when you select Clasko :-
Clasko saying, "Lady Yuna."
or
Clasko saying, "You know, all I want is to ride on a chocobo, faster than the
wind!"
Description - Former Crusader and Chocobo Knight. Calling him Spira's number
one chocobo fan would hardly be an overstatement.

x020 Yaibal
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Where to get it:- In Chapter 1 beam down to Mushroom Rock Road to get a scene
with Yaibal and Clasko. Yaibal will appear in the dossier after this scene.
It does not matter if you remember Yaibal.
In Chapter 2 beam down to Mushroom Rock Road and encounter
the Youth League. You will have a scene with Yaibal and Clasko. After this
scene Yaibal will appear in your dossier. It does not matter if you chose New
Yevon or Youth League, however, if you chose New Yevon you will only get a
scene with Yaibal with Clasko in the background.
In Chapter 3 beam down to Mushroom Rock Road and you will
have a scene with Yaibal and Lucil. You will get a similar scene whether you
have chosen New Yevon or the Youth League. Regardless Yaibal will appear in
the dossier.
In Chapter 4, if you sided with the Youth League, connect
to the CommSphere in Mushroom Rock Road to get a scene with Yaibal. Even if
you skip out of the scene straight away without seeing Yaibal, he still
appears in the dossier.
In Chapter 5, if you sided with New Yevon, beam down to
Mushroom Rock Road and you will see a scene with Lucil, Elma and two blue
hypellos. Strangely enough, Yaibal will appear in your dossier despite not
being in this scene.
Voice over when you select Yaibal :-
Yaibal saying, "Understood."
or
Yaibal saying, "Since that day we first spoke, the Youth League has been
conductinga sphere hunt of its own."
Description - An officer in the Youth League and ardent admirer of Yuna.
He has the unfortunate habit of not waiting for people to finish what they
have to say.

x021 Maroda
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Where to get it:- In Chapter 1 beam down to Mushroom Rock Road and do the
Foggy Fiend Frenzy mission and follow Ormi and Logos to the Den of Woe. You
will see a scene with Ormi and Logos, and once they leave you will encounter
Maroda. It does not matter if you remember him to get him in the dossier. If
you didn't go to the Den of Woe during the mission, you can come back and do
it later as long as it is before you finish the Zanarkand mission.
In Chapter 2, if you chose the Youth League, go the Youth
League Headquarters and you will see a scene with Elma and Lucil. After this
scene talk to Maroda who is standing to the left before the gate to Youth
League Headquarters. He will appear in the dossier after you finish talking to
him.
In Chapter 4 look through the Bevelle CommSphere the first
chance you get to look at them all. You will see a scene with Maroda who is
escaping the Yevonites. He will appear in the dossier after this scene. If you
missed it the first time look through the CommSphere again after the Moonflow
mission. You can get this scene regardless of whether you sided with New Yevon
or the Youth League.
Note: In Chapter 5 if you beam down to Bevelle you will trigger a scene
which has Maroda in it, and perhaps Isaaru as well if you did the
prerequisites. Regardless of which scene you get, Maroda will not appear in
the dossier.
Voice over when you select Maroda :-
Maroda saying, "It's me Maroda, Isaaru and Pacce's brother."
or
Maroda saying, "I joined up with the Youth League, and that's been keeping me
pretty busy."
Description - A young man who was once guardian to Isaaru, his older brother.
When the Calm came, he parted with his brothers and joined the Youth League.

x022 Beclem *
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Where to get it:- In Chapter 2, beam down to Besaid and talk to the Aurochs
and then Beclem will appear. He will be in the dossier after this scene.
In Chapter 3 beam down to Besaid and talk to Lulu in the
tent on your right which will then start a scene where you will see Beclem and
Wakka. Beclem will appear in the dossier after this scene.
Voice over when you select Beclem :-
Beclem saying, "Must your kind always prattle on about your precious
memories."
or
Beclem saying, "I'm Beclem, I've been dispatch to Besaid by Youth League
headquarters."
Description - A man dispatched by the Youth League to whip the Besaid Aurochs
into shape. He loudly decries the ancient precepts established by Yevon.

x023 Dona *
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Where to get it:- In Chapter 1 if you beam down to Kilika before it is a
hotspot you can get Dona. Go to her house and you will see a scene with
Barthello, after it is over enter the house to get Dona. This is not that
important as you get her automatically later on.
In Chapter 1 during the Awesome Sphere Heist Mission, Dona
will appear a few times. She will appear in the Shinra's Dossier the first
chance you get to check in chapter 2.
Voice over when you select Dona :-
Dona saying, "My, my, my."
or
Dona saying, "Shutup."
Description - A summoner who made her pilgrimage with her lover, Barthello.
After the Calm came, she put down her staff and took up residence on Kilika
Island.

x024 Barthello *

Where to get it:- In Chapter 1 beam down to Kilika Port and go to Dona's
house to find her kicking him out. Barthello will appear in the dossier after
this scene.
In Chapter 3 beam down to Kilika and start the Pest Control
mission. In that mission you will encounter Barthello and he will then appear
in the dossier.
Description - A young man who became a guardian to protect Dona, his lover.
He greatly reveres the legendary guardian, Auron.

x025 Shelinda
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Where to get it:- In Chapter 2 beam down to Luca and walk down the stairs
which will start a scene with Shelinda. She will appear in the dossier after
this scene.
In Chapter 3 beam down to Luca and you will see a scene
with Shelinda and Rin introducing the sphere break tournament. Shelinda will
appear in your dossier after this scene. You don't need to talk to her or play
the tournament for Shelinda to appear.
Voice over when you select Shelinda :-
Shelinda saying, "And now, here's today's special guest, high summoner Yuna."
or
Shelinda saying, "This is Shelinda, bringing you all the latest news from
around Spira."
Description - Former priestess of Yevon. After the fall of the temples, she
moved to Luca, where she now works as a news anchor for one of its sphere
networks.

x026 Calli
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Where to get it:- In Chapter 2 beam down to Mi'ihen Highroad and enter Rin's
agency to see Calli. Follow her out and talk to her on the cliff. It does not
matter if you remember her, and you don't need to do the mission.
Voice over when you select Calli :-
Calli saying, "It's me Calli."
or

Where to get it:- In Chapter 1 beam down to the Moonflow and talk to Tobli to
start a mission. You don't need to do the mission for Tobli to appear in your
dossier. Missed the mission? Don't worry you will get Tobli soon enough.
In Chapter 1 when you go to Kilika Island you will have a
talk with Tobli which you can't avoid. Tobli will appear in the Shinra's
Dossier the first chance you get to check in chapter 2

Where to get it:- In Chapter 1 beam down to Macalania Woods and go to the
Macalania Spring to talk to Tromell. You only need to talk to Tromell once for
him to appear in the dossier, but you might as well talk to him another three
times to get Full Throttle.
In Chapter 2 it is the same as above.
In Chapter 5 if you managed to miss Tromell in the first two
Chapters *and* you did the Battle Blockade mission in Chapter 3, beam down to
Guadosalam and you will get a scene with Tromell. He will appear in the
dossier after this scene.

Tromell saying, "With Lord Seymour gone, we Guado are hardly different from

Description - Attendant who once served two generations of Guado leaders,

Where to get it:- In Chapter 1 if you got the Letter of Introduction from
Gippal then beam down to Bikanel. This will involve a long sequence where
eventually you will see Nhadala and you will have to do some digging. When
you get back to the airship, Nhadala will be in the dossier.
In Chapter 2 if you beam down to Bikanel you can talk to
Nhadala. She will appear in you dossier after you talk to her. Keep in mind you
have to talk to her anyway in Chapter 2, as you need to get the Syndicate
Uniform from Bikanel to proceed.
Voice over when you select Nhadala :-
Nhadala saying, "I'm busy, so make it fast okay. I've got lots to excavate and
noone to do it."

Nhadala saying, "Hmmm, I guess the high summoner is hard up to."
Description - An Al Bhed woman who heads up the excavation camp in Bikanel
Desert. She has a knack for psyching people up and putting that slightly
misguided determination to work.

with Nhadala, Benzo, and Marnela. After this scene Benzo will appear in the
dossier.

Description - An Al Bhed boy. He is the one and only person able to converse
with cacti and cactuars.

Where to get it:- In Chapter 1 beam down to Luca and you will have to do the
Behind the Scenes mission. Beam down a second time and go to the Stadium
Basement A (the right one) and you will get a scene with Rin who talks about
sphere break. After this scene Rin will be in the dossier.
In Chapter 3 beam down to Luca and you will see a scene with
Shelinda and Rin introducing the sphere break tournament. Rin will appear in
your dossier after this scene. You don't need to talk to him or play the
tournament for Rin to appear.
In Chapter 4 connect to the Mi'ihen CommSphere and Rin will
exit the building and talk to you. You must have done the Machina Mayhem
mission in Chapter 3 to be able to see this scene.
Note: You can see Rin, Cid, and Nhadala in the hot springs in Mt Gagazet
during Chapter 4 through he CommSphere. Viewing this scene will not put Rin
into the dossier.
Voice over when you select Rin :-
Rin saying, "Aah, the Lady Yuna."
or
Rin saying, "Lady Yuna's Calm has given the people of Spira a time to relax,
and enjoy the finer things in life."
Description - An Al Bhed businessman whose travel agencies dot all Spira.

Lake Macalania Agency Front. You will see a scene with some Al Bhed and O'aka.

finish the mission.
In Chapter 2 it is the same as above.
Note: You can see a scene of O'aka in the hot springs in Mt Gagazet during
Chapter 4 through the CommSpheres. Viewing this scene will not put O'aka into
the dossier.

Description - More properly known as O'aka XXIII. After a brief retirement

Where to get it:- In Chapter 5, if you paid off O'aka's debt before the end of
Chapter 2, beam down to Macalania Woods and go to the travel agency to see
a long conversation between O'aka and Wantz. He will appear in your dossier
after this conversation. You don't need to do the Secure the Agency mission
in Macalania Woods in Chapter 3 to get Wantz to appear.
Note: You can see a scene of Wantz in the hot springs in Mt Gagazet during
Chapter 4 through the CommSpheres. Viewing this scene will not put Wantz into
the dossier. There is also a scene with Wantz coming back to the travel
agency in Macalania Woods in Chapter 4, which will also not get you Wantz in
the dossier.

In Chapter 2 beam down to Mt Gagazet and talk to Kimahri. He
will appear in your dossier after you talk to him. You must talk to Kimahri to
continue in the game, as the scene on the fayth scar to get the syndicate
uniform will only happen if you talk to Kimahri.
Description - A young Ronso who has protected Yuna since she was very small.
He now struggles to keep his wounded people aloft as their elder.

Where to get it:- In chapter 1 beam down to Mt Gagazet and you will see a
scene with Kimahri and Garik. Garik will appear in the dossier after this

In Chapter 2 beam down to Mt Gagazet and talk to Garik who
is on your right. He will appear in your dossier after you talk to him.
In Chapter 3 beam down to Mt Gagazet and do the Battle
Blockade mission. After you defeat Garik, he will appear in the dossier.
In Chapter 5 beam down to Mt Gagazet and you will see a
scene with an unhappy Garik and Kimahri. Garik will appear in the dossier
after this scene.

Description - A young Ronso warrior whose friends were murdered by Seymour

Where to get it:- In Chapter 2 go to the Calm Lands and they will be near
Rin's agency. If you go near them it will trigger a scene, and they will
appear in the dossier after this scene.
In Chapter 3 beam down to the Thunder Plains and go to
to Thunder Plains - North. Go to the shelter on the left to trigger a scene
with Lian & Ayde to send them to Djose Temple, The Moonlfow, or Kilika Island.
They will appear in the dossier after that scene.
In Chapter 5 beam down to Mt Gagazet a second time and talk
to Kimahri which will trigger a scene where Lian & Ayde return. After this
scene they will appear in the dossier.

Lian saying, "Please do not speak to elder of meeting Lian and
Ayde today."
or
Lian saying, "Lian and Ayde hear many stories of Lady Yuna, elder Kimarhi

Description - Once guardian to his brother, Isaaru. Along with Taro and Hana
he now seels his fortune as the founder and captain of his own band of sphere

Where to get it:- In Chapter 1 beam down to Mushroom Rock Road and do the
Foggy Fiend Frenzy mission, which will give you access to the Youth League
headquarters. Talk to Lucil to make Maechen appear, and then talk to him. You
only have to talk to him once for him to appear in the dossier.
In Chapter 3 beam down to Guadosalam and go through the
secret passageway to view Ormi's and Logo's spheres. After you view these you
must examine another sphere in that room, called the Goal sphere. After you
view this sphere you will have a scene with Maechen and then he will be in
the dossier.
In Chapter 4 after the concert you will have a compulsory
scene with Maechen where he talks about Lenne. He will then appear in your
dossier the first chance you get to check in Chapter 5.
Note: You can see a scene of Maechen in the hot springs in Mt Gagazet during
Chapter 4 through the CommSpheres. Viewing this scene will not put Maechen
into the dossier. This does not really matter as you get him soon after
anyway.

Description - An old man who has gathered great wisdom from his travels

Where to get it:- In Chapter 5 in Besaid through the War Buddy Sphere. In
order to get it you must see the scene in Chapter 4 with Beclem where he talks
about Chappu. I saw this scene through the CommSphere after the Where's
Tobli mission. When you beam down talk to Wakka and Lulu, and then talk to
Beclem on the beach and he will give you the War Buddy Sphere. You must then
talk to Wakka who is in the Besaid Promontory. You can actually avoid him and
go to the airship, but the sphere isn't in Shinra's list. After you talk to
Wakka he will view the sphere to see a scene with Chappu, which will put him
in the dossier. You don't need to go back into the village to get episode
complete, if for some reason you don't want to.
Voice over when you select Chappu :-
Chappu saying, "Knock it off with the surrogate parenting, give us both a
break."
or
Chappu saying, "I just need you to be my brother."
Description - Wakka's younger brother. He joined the Crusaders despite
Wakka's protests and died fighting Sin.

Where to get it:- In Chapter 5 if you did all the prerequisites to pin Rin,
beam down to Mi'ihen and you will get Gippal's sphere (labelled Jackasses in
the treasure spheres). Watch the sphere to get a scene with Auron and Gippal.
Auron will be in the dossier after you view the sphere. If you want to get
Auron this way, I recommend you follow Rin's Mi'ihen Mystery Guide FAQ from
Split Infinity.
In Chapter 5 when you are fighting Vegnagun you will hear
the voice of Auron. He will then be in your dossier the first chance you get
to check in new game plus.

Description - A warrior who transcended death to keep his promise to a

down a second time and talk to Tromell who is standing by the door that has
previously been locked. Go inside to get Baralai's sphere, which is labelled
Yevon's Secret in Shrina's Treasure spheres. Watch the sphere to see a scene
with Baralai and Seymour.

Seymour saying, "All the more fitting, be my lovely wife."

Description - The leader of the Guado and one of four measters of Yevon. He

Where to get it:- In Chapter 3 beam down to Guadosalam and enter the secret
passageway. Go to the room where you had a fight with LeBlanc, Ormi, and Logos
in Chapter 2. In this room climb on the boxes to get up, then walk around to
get a chest which will contain the Crimson Sphere (Record) 4. When back on the
airship, watch this sphere to see Kinoc in it. He will then appear in your
dossier.
In Chapter 5 the same as above by getting Crimson Sphere 4
in Guadosalam and viewing it.
In Chapter 5 beam down to Bevelle and go to the 20th floor
in Via Infinito. There you will see Kinoc morph into the fiend Aranea, and he
will appear in the dossier after you have defeated him.
Voice over when you select Kinoc :-
Kinoc saying, "Enlighten rule by the dead is preferable to the misguided
failures of the living."
or
Kinoc saying, "Of course he will."
Description - One of the four maesters of Yevon. He established the Crimson
Squad in an attempt to regiment the Crusaders. He ultimately died at
