-= INTRODUCTION =-

This FAQ was developed to solve the Great Easter Egg Hunt. Scattered across
the land of Pandule are the elusive DH Eggs. Collect all 100 of them and win
the legendary DH Manju (The Famous Dessert: The Death Hiyoko Dumpling). I
don't know what it does yet but it's bound to have some use.
Along the way, after searching every nook and cranny, it was natural to list
all the locations for every item. Most of the items listed in this FAQ can be
easily bought at a store. The items that you should pay attention to are the
Story items, Rare items, DH Eggs and Nuts. Nuts replenish after each time loop
but Rare items, DH Eggs and Story Items occur only once and don't disappear
when the time loops.
An important tip is if you tired of running into battles, especially in
dungeons, use Fog Spheres and Evergreens. Fog Spheres reduce enemy encounters
while Evergreens reduce the chances of your party being ambushed.
Remember to use Ctrl-F to find items and for DH Eggs, enter #number to find a
particular egg. If your wondering this FAQ is 45 pages where 40 pages are
pure info and maps while there are 5 pages of me gabbing away.

-= MAP SYSTEM =-

Everything in this FAQ is based on this MAP. Memorize it well since I will
be referring to it a couple hundred times. It's a big island and there are
a lot of places where items can hide.
The map is divided into zone. Numbers represents the column while letters
represent rows. Each map piece has been given a name so it makes it easier
to find the section headings. You can also search for the map piece locations
within this FAQ using Ctrl-F and typing MAP, dash then the code (eg MAP-C3).
The map pieces with no code can be won at Bar (TOWN6-F5) from the drinking
game with Claire.

-= DEATH HIYOKO =-

Death Hiyoko are NPC (Non-Player Characters). This means that you have no
control over them but can be included in you party as allies. The act on
their own will and have two actions with they can perform; a physical
attack and a magical attack (Whirlwind - Wind attacks one person).
Umm, did I mention that they're all a bunch of chickens. Find DH Eggs
scattered throughout the kingdom and bring them to the Death Hiyoko's
Hen House (Town 2 - G3). The old geezer there will incubate the eggs and
in a couple of days a new baby chick will be born.
Unlike player characters, when a Death Hiyoko dies, it remains dead. There
is no way to bring them back to life. Another problem is you cannot cast
spells or use items on them, which makes it difficult to heal. The only way
to heal them is to return the chick back to the Death Hiyoko House.
Death Hiyokos can level up like normal characters but their stats can go
down. If the Death Hiyoko initial level is higher than the Party's or
Mouse's Level, its stats will drop when it levels up.
For example, Mouse is at level 25 and has 1000 HP. I recruit Peat (1288 HP)
and it levels. Most likely Peat HP will drop to 800 HP and his attacks
become weaker. This is not much of a problem because whenever the time
loops, Death Hiyokos revert back to their initial stats.
Notice how each Death Hiyoko's name start with 'Pi'. It's actually a
variation of the word 'piyo piyo'. In Japanese, 'piyo piyo' is equivalent to
when a baby chick makes the sound 'cheep cheep' in English.

The most important egg is DH Egg #3. It appears on Day? during the week where
your trying to recruit Gallhint. This is the only time you can pick it up and
cannot be missed since you can't come back once you leave.
After collecting all 100 Eggs you get to meet the King Death Hiyoko. It
doesn't matter if some of your Death Hiyoko dies. What you get is not much
of a reward but you do get a delicious dessert, DH Manju. Don't know what it
does yet but it does taste good.

-= RARE ITEMS =-
==================
Gem bestow attributes to your character attacks but the attribute can be
superseded by your Art's attribute. For example Red Monomers absorb Fire
attacks and are weak against Water. Equip Water Gem and attack it with
Slash and it'll do more damage than regular Slash due to Water damage. If
we use Power Jump (has Fire attribute) the effects of the Water Gem is
superseded and the Red Monomer gets healed.
Gems of the same group or class can be worn together to increase their
effects. For example, Water, Ice and Darkness belong to the Darkness
Group. Twinboom who's a Wind boss is weak against the Darkness Group.
If we attack with the Water Gem 1800 damage, Ice Gem 2000 or Darkness
Gem 2200. Wear all three together and the damage is a whooping 5600!!

properly. To avoid this store Nuts in the Time Vault or the Nut Bag. If you
store Nuts in the Nut Bag, the contents in the bag will change to match the
properties of the most recently stored Nut.
For example, there are 3 Wisdom Nuts in the bag. Put a Squall Nut in the bag
and the contents will change to 4 Squall Nuts.

Village. To reach the Celestial Village you will have to first visit the
Regular Village and then repair the Lift at the Woodcutter's Village.

This dungeon map spans both Quarry 1 and 2. In the middle of the map is the
division of the two areas. The areas with dots are the high areas while the
ones with no dots represent low areas. Ramps also indicated the direction
of the slope by the orientation of the spelling. The 'R' in Ramp is the
high area while the 'P' is the low areas.
The numbered chests are set up so that it allows you to pick up all the
chests in an efficient path. If you wish to only pick up rare items, you
may skip chest 10 and go directly to chest 18 and continue on.

The island is only reachable if you rent a falcon from the Celestial
Village. Read the section of recruiting Beak and Fang or Kyte's Dungeon in
a walkthrough for more details. The island in quite small but the dungeon
is large.
I have made a rough map of the three levels where Down and Up represent
stairs. You must activate the Warp Pad by flipping all the Tomb Switches in
Level 1 (represented by X in the corners). Then push all the Chest Switches
on Level 3 to drain the waters in the lower level.
The fastest route through the dungeon is to press the Tomb Switches on the
bottom left and right corners, press the Chest Switches on Level 3 and then
press the last two Tomb Switches. I suggest you take a few Fog Spheres and
Evergreens if you want reduce your time fighting.

The Forest of Illusion is a maze that changes shape. Levels 1 to 3 are the
different variations of the maze. By activating Tomb A, you switch between
Level 1 and 2. By activating Tomb B, you switch between Level 2 and 3.
Both Level 2 and 3 can reach Level 4. When you leave the last level the map
will revert back to Level 2. I suggest you activate Tomb A then Tomb B
before you go on to Level 4. When you return just activate Tomb B.

There are 3 events that trigger Day ?. The first occurs when you try to
recruit Gallhint. During this period you have to find the swimmer at the
Harbor. Compete with him to win DH Egg #3. This is your only chance to win
this egg.

DH Egg #3: Beat swimmer at Harbor
If you're having trouble beating the swimmer, here's a tip from
PyroFalkon (
[email protected]) who discovered this secret.
"I know this is going to sound like a BS code, but trust me, I tested this
myself. The more times you play the song Call From Sea on Pattimo, the faster
the bar fills during the race, and the longer you can carry that speed! If
you keep losing, just stand there and play the song over and over and over
and over again, then try him."

World of Darkness. This is an exact replica of the Town but the items are
different. There are tonnes of monsters and Evergreen and Fog Spheres are
useless so I hope you've leveled up your characters.

This area is inaccessible without the B1 Key that is won from defeating
Twinboom. Before entering the Sol Tower you have picked up the 3 Keys
(Wing, Horn, Serpent Keys) from the basement of the Castle. This will
allow you to open the DOOR when all three keys are used in the key slots.
NOTE: If you want all the DH Eggs make sure you have eggs 1-97 before
you open the DOOR.
When you reenter Sol Tower, late in the game, you enter from Level 10. The
stair names I reversed the numbers and letters to show the areas that are
accessible on your second visit. I also use letters to number chests.

Once you reach the top of Sol Tower the map complete changes. You are no
longer able to use Fog Spheres or Evergreens to avoid combat. In addition
all the shops are destroyed but they are replaced by Celestial Citizens
you meet along the way. The prices are the same and since this is The End,
it's a good time to blow your budget.
