II. Miscellaneous Info.
A. The Controls.
O: General Attack button. Typically a longer attack, slower but
does more damage.
X: General Attack button. Typically a shorter attack and quicker,
but does less damage.
: Jump button. Jump over enemies and obstacles in your path.
Triangle: Action button. Flip a switch or activate a legacy move.
(Note: note a legacy drive.) Cancel Button.
Start: Menu button. Activate the menu and check your: Status, Data
options or Save your game.
Select: Pause button. Also check the Map, Rader, Navi. Log or quit
the game.
R3: Legacy Drive. Activate your Legacy drive and do an awesome
attack on your enemies with the power of the Legacy!
L3: First person view. Look around and see things you might have
not have seen before. Also the analog stick is the only way to
move Josh faster than with the D-Pad.
R1/L1: Switch Back and forth between weapons with speed and ease.
L2: Block the attacks of your enemies. (Hopefully.) Target nearest
enemy.
R2: Center your view right behind Josh.
B. The Weapons.
Sword: One of the weapon formats created for the EOE Experiment.
It is over a meter in length, and the blade emites a reddish
yellow light. It is a balanced weapon with good speed and
damage, and is intended for slicing rather than bludgeoning
enemies.
Power: 4/10
Speed: 6/10
Range: 3/10
Rod: One of the first EOE weapon formats created in the EOE
Experiment. It takes the shadpe of a rod, and the entire
weapon emits a blue light. Mainly focused on bludgeoning, it
is simple yet highly effective. It can also be used as a pole
vault to increase distance on horizontal and vertical jumps.
Power: 7/10
Speed: 3/10
Range: 6/10
Katar: This Legacy is wielded by Hans, the only non-executive offical
of Wisdom with permission to equip Legacy. The weapon's
blades emite a pale blue light. An extremely dangerous weapon
that originated in India just swing your arms around with the
weapon equipped is enough to make it a very lethal weapon.
Power: 2/10
Speed: 4/10
Range: 4/10
Snake Sword: A format of Legacy weapon used by one of our [Wisdom
Inc.] Officals, Viper. It's blade emits a puprle light.
The weapon has a unique form, and the new-material
wiring inside it, makes it possible to elongate and
shorten in an instant. The skilled user can perform
long-range attacks with this feature. The user can also
wedge the sword's blade into walls and use the
elongation function for mobility.
Power: 6/10
Speed: 4/10
Range: 3/10
Crossbow: A format of Legacy weapon used by one of our officals,
Vixen. Emitting a pink light, it is a good long-rang
weapon with a very lethal capability. Using unlimited
energy arrow that take very little time to nock, the
Crossbow has a very good rate of fire. Also each shot can
be charged to a higher level to produce even more lethal
shots.
Power: 2/10
Speed: 3/10
Range: 10/10
Giant Axe: A format of Legacy weapon used by one of our officals, Z.
It emits a black light. Composed of an axe head and a
grip, this ultra-heavy weapon's main purpose is to hack
through enemies defenses and cause major damage. Weapon
speed is compromised by it's weight, but its power more
than makes up for this disadvantage.
Power: 10/10
Speed: 1/10
Range: 7/10
Broad Sword: A format of Legacy weapon used by one of our officals,
Magnus. The center of the blade emites a yellow light.
The user must be able to handle the weight of the
massive and long blade, but these properties can be
very advantageous when properly used in combat. It is
representative of the western approach to sword making,
which stresses attack with weight and brute force.
Power: 9/10
Speed: 2/10
Range: 7/10
Boomerang: A format of Legacy weapon used by Dr. Wiseman. It emites a
green light. Though it's primary function is as a
mid-range weapon whose spinning blades cause major damage
to the target, the double-edged design also makes it
effective in short-range combat.
Power: 4/10
Speed: 3/10
Range: 9/10
Tonfa: A format of legacy weapon used by one of our officals Raven. It
emites a white light. It is a versatile weapon that can shift
from offense to defense very easily. By using leverage, the
user can hit targets with enormous force, yet the light design
makes it very fast and deadly.
Power: 7/10
Speed: 9/10
Range: 2/10
Twin Blades: One of EOE's weapon formats. The entire weapon emites a
red light. The user holds two swords, one in each hand,
and wields them simultaneously. During the development
of EOE, the Legacy suddenly took a form of this weapon
and initiated a Legacy Drive by itself. This halted
further research for this particular weapon. As a result
the condition that may cause a Legacy to take this shape
remains unknown.
Power: 10/10
Speed: 10/10
Range: 6/10
C. History
In the future, there is bliss and prosperity. The west especially boasts
a high standard of living. Somewhere out there a bio-engineering
company known as Wisdom, has discovered the secret of the Legacy. The
ability to merge metal and souls to create a very powerful weapon.
However the way to make a truly power Legacy is to use a human soul.
For this they chose... Eliel Evergrand. She was a very talented, very
pretty, weapons research scientist. She turned against Wisdom after she
discovered the plans for Wisdom's global take over and left with her
boyfriend, Josh Calloway. Eliel was forced to become a Legacy and was
put on a transport with Josh. An accident occured on the transport
which enabled Josh to get the Legacy (known as EOE) and start his
crusade to bring down Wisdom and get Eliel her body back.
D. Terms you might need to know
1. Legacy: A weapon made from the merging of human soul and metal. A new
technique that Agla (the CEO of Wisdom) was taught by a
mysterious woman.
2. Memory Crystal: A crystal with all DNA information of every human
being that became a Legacy core. Including Eliel
Evergrand. Inserting this material into Legacy is
the only way to restore the core's real human form.
3. Weapon Crystal: A crystal that is inserted into the Legacy that turns
it into that particular weapon. You can aquire Weapon Crystal's by
beating people who wield Legacy.
4. Ley seeds: Matter materialized from an overflow in the Dragon Vein.
This is the Legacy Drive's power source. When a positive
ley seed (blue) and a negative ley seed (red) are
combines with the Weapon Crystal, they create a wave of
power that reacts to the users mental concentration
and initiates the Legacy Drive.
5. Ley Line: An alternate name for the 'Dragon Vein', a stream of Chi
that circulates all over Earth. The Ley Line intersection
= In an area called the 'Dragon Hole', excess power that flows from
the Dragon Vein can heal people's body and mental power. It is also
the place where Ley seeds sometimes materialize.
III. Walkthrough
As the game starts off you'll be given a bit of backround to bring you
up to speed on everything that has happened up til now. You gain
control over Josh Calloway and get to see a very impressive scene where
he completely destroys a semi-truck. Now prepare yourself, young
adventurer. It is now the Eve of Extinction.
--------------------------------
Area 1: Business District.
Enemies: Agent Alpha, Agent Beta, Agent Delta, Agent Gamma.
Weapons: Sword, Rod, Fists.
--------------------------------
1) What a welcome to Eve of Extinction! You're up against 5 Wisdom
Agents and all you have is a Sword, a stick, and your hands and
feet. Don't you think they would have TRIED and stack the odds in
the bad guys' favor just a little bit? Very simple first part, just
hack-and-slash at them with whatever you want, but try and make it
interesting. Try and get the best number of successive hits (I'm up
to 93). You need to make a decision before you fight. Are you going
to use all weapons evenly, level them all up, or are you just going
to use one you like? It's up to you. Just take care of these guys.
2) Once they're all dead and gone, go behind the truck and wait for the
action movie where you'll be taken back in time when Eliel is
reminded of something that happened by the Agents rushing you.
--------------------------------
Area 2: Wisdom Warehouse
Enemies: Agent Delta,
Weapons: Fists, Sword and Rod (later)
--------------------------------
1) Just after the helicopter crash into the Wisdom Warehouse, Josh is
woken by the voice of Eliel. Josh wakes just enough to see an Agent
running off with a suitcase. When you regain control of Josh move
into the corridor where you'll find Agent Delta. Be careful, there
is an action movie here and you'll need to be quick and press O when
the option appears. After the action movie just run up to Agent
Delta and hammer him hard. Your only weapons are your fists/feet.
2) After you've killed him continue down the hallway where you'll
encounter another action movie. Press X then O and then . (ok, I
suck at making a out of text.) Once again be careful only to
hit the buttons when the option shows up. Now you'll find yourself
on the floor as Eliel screams at you. Follow the path and take note
of the locked gate as you pass it. Then continue along the normal
path.
3) The next thing you should see is a long pole. Run up to it and press
the action button (triangle) and then climb up the pole. Position
yourself so that your back is facing the blocks that you want to
land on, and then press X or O to do a backflip. Then run over to
the ledge and jump up and use the action button (triangle) to grap
the ledge. Press up and the action button again to pull yourself up.
4) Great, we're almost there. Now, more forward and Eliel will tell you
to climb the ladder. She's a scientist so let's do what she tells us
to climb up the ladder do it just like the pole earlier. Walk up to
it and press the action button (triangle). Press up and off you go.
5) Continue to follow the corridor (just like Eliel tells you to) and
just be warned, a fight is coming up, (it's nothing though.)
6) GASP! A locked gate! Oh wait. There's a switch right there. Just go
up to it and press the action button to open it.
7) Action movie again. Press X and you'll be fine. After Josh knocks the
suitcase out of the Agents hands and you get the god-like weapon,
very simply slash him. Try and use this to find out what weapons you
like and what combos you can use them in.
8) The first thing you'll notice about the Agent in the next room, is
that unlike all the others, he has a big arrow over his head. This
means that he is carrying an important item. Take care of him. Real
good care of him. After you pick up the CARD KEY he is carrying,
make your way back to that gate I told you about earlier. In order
to get back there you need to make use of your new weapon, the Rod.
Use the legacy action button on the small ledge where the pole is,
and you'll jump up very high. You have to switch over to bare hands
and grasp the ledge using the action button again. Pull yourself up
and head to the shutter.
9) When you get near the gate it will open automatically open up. Note:
now that your on the other side, you cannot go back. (not that there
is any reason why you would.) Going down the single corridor, you'll
notice a ley seed ahead of you. To get it just stand in the Ley Line
and use the rods jumps (action button). As soon as you get the ley
seed some more agents will entire the room. Don't worry though, even
the worst newb wouldn't lose here, there's a light restoring ley
line right there. Show them what an Eve of Extinction gamer is
made of.
10) Move along into the next room, where another ley seed will be pointed
out to you. In order to get this one you need to use the rods legacy
action (action button) twice: once to get on top of the metal crates
and once more to get to the pipe to be able to grab it. To grab the
pipe stand right under it (edge of the box) and jump up with the
Rod's legacy action. Switch over to bare hands (using L1) and grab
the pipe with the action button. Use the left analog stick to move
yourself past the fence and drop down off of the pipe. Then just
move into the ley line and you'll also grab the ley seed. Once you
get it some guards will rush you. Then you'll be forced to use your
Legacy Drive. In order to pull this one off you need to follow the
pattern drawn on the screen with your right analog stick, starting
with the top, moving to the bottom, to the right side of the circle.
Oh, and don't worry, you have an unlimited number of tries.
----------------------------------Part 2----------------------------------
Area 1 (again): Business District
Enemies: Look above.
Weapons: Look above.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
1) Now your back in the Business District, present time. The Agents are
now no more so don't worry about them. Move in the opposite
direction of the trucks and kill the three Agents that pop out of
the Wisdom place. When you get too close to the building a Delta
Agent will shut off all power to the place that makes the doors
close. Oh well, no one ever said this would be easy.
2) Move further down the road, and you'll find two Agents waiting for
you. The Agent Gamma will attack you first, so you can go after them
one at a time if you want to. When you pop the Agent Alpha he'll
drop your very first PDA. (For more info on PDA's check the PDA
location section.) Now then, you're probably looking at the big
poster on the building that reads 'NEIGHBORS' so from there go
straight down the path to your right.
3) There you will find another Agent Alpha, practicing his sword swings
with his back turned to you. In other words: Easy Prey. Smack him
hard with the weapon of your choice and when his beaten corpse
disappears, pick up another PDA. (Note: here you will find a mailbox
that can be destroyed. Try and find all the objects that can be
destroyed. To the best of my knowledge it doesn't do anything, but
wouldn't it be great if you could say you were the first to do it?)
Continue down the path.
4) Now, once you get to the corner, Eliel will notice a power generator
that is being guarded by an Agent Alpha and an Agent Delta. I
recomend going after the Agent Delta first, they're long-ranged. The
Agent Alpha here drops another PDA. In order to start the generator
you need to use the rods legacy drive. But first you need to get the
ley seeds for the rod. Which means you need to move away from the
fence and keep going the way you were going before.
5) Just ahead of you, you should see a ley line... of course guarded by
two agents. Dispatch them quicker than the last ones and pick up the
PDA. You can use the ley line if you want, but then you have to
continue on. Yes there is a subway there that Eliel pointed out, but
we're not going into there yet. So go 'round the corner right next
to the subway and you'll encounter another agent. Do I really need
to tell you what to do when you find an agent? Oooo and he has a
PDA. By this time an Agent Delta has probably shown up so knock him
out. Move on down, kill the other agent and get his PDA.
6) If you need some life by this point, go behind the mailbox and you'll
see six plants, destroy the upper-most left one and you can get a
healing item. Oh, and there is an Agent there. With a PDA. That's
all you can do up here so far, so head back to the subway (marked
with a star on your radar.)
7) Access to the subway is really easy. Just jump over the barrier and
run down that long hallway. Turn around the corner and teach the
three evil agents there why it's a bad idea to piss off the
boyfriend of a research scientist. You get a PDA for your troubles.
Go through the gate there (not the closed one) and you'll encounter
an Agent with a red arrow over his head. That means he has a special
item. Go midevil on his tailored suit and get the key. Go back to
where you killed those three guards and note the red star on your
radar. You can use the key there just by going up to the gate. Round
the corner and kill the two agents there, and you can reward
yourself by picking up their PDA. You'll see a switch with a number
'2' on it. This is important to press it now. Continue down the
corridor until you reach Agent Gamma.
8) When you get to him, take him out like only you can, and grab his
PDA. Now go down the stairs and face off against five agents. My
advice it to try and get them into a group and hit them with the
rod. But what do I know? After they've passed onto the next life,
jump down on the railroad tracks and more toward either end for an
action movie. Press quickly, for the one by the entrance and
triangle for the one near the exit. Speaking of the exit, use it to
go to go to the upper floor and follow the path until you reach an
Agent Alpha. Destroy him. Oh, isn't that sweet? He left you a gift,
a PDA. Don't worry about the gate, it doesn't open yet, but luckily,
you opened that gate earlier... right? If you didn't then go back
and find the number '2' switch. If you did do it right, then use
that path and kill the two agents behind the gate. They were nice
enough to carry PDA's. Now you can move on and exit the subway.
9) Ah, fresh air, finally. See the fenced in area just in front of you?
Head that way and eliel will point out the first ley seed for the
rod. In order to get that one the rod is key. Walk right up to the
fence, hold forward and use the Rod's legacy action (triangle
button) and you'll land on top of the fence. You might be able to
use the rod jump again to grab the ley seed, but I haven't done it.
But luckily, basketball saves the day once again! Use the rod jump
to hop onto the basketball hoop. Use the rod jump again to get to
that pipe you see. You need to quickly switch over to bare hands to
grab it, but sometimes you'll land on the pipe, in which case you
need to fall off and very quickly grab the pipe. Use the left analog
stick to move yourself along the pipe and grab that ley seed. Drop
down, use the rod, and get out of that little area.
10) Sometime during that little exercise an Agent Gamma appeared by the
subway entrance. Hit him hard and gather your hard earned PDA.
Continue forward and Josh will notice the other ley seed... on top
of a building. There is nothing down that little alley way so just
ignore it and keep on down the main road. There is another alley
with a fence you can jump over but there is nothing there. So keep
going down the road. The next alley however, has something of
interest: Agent Beta with a PDA. Agent Delta will probably join in
so just knock their heads together and get out of there UNLESS you
want a short cut. With the short cut you'll miss a number of things.
PDA's mostly. If you want the short cut, climb the ladder you see on
the left side of the building next to you, if not get out of the
alley way and back onto the main road. If you take the short cut,
move over to the crane and hit the rod in front of it, Eliel will
explain the rest. On the left side of the road you will see a
ladder. Climb up it to encounter Agent Beta, practicing with his
back turned to you. Kill him before he knows your there and pick up
his PDA. Jump up and grasp the ledge with bare hands and pull
yourself up. You'll find yet another ladder. Climb it. Jump the
buildings ahead of you, but be very careful not to fall. It would
probably kill you. On the third building you will see two
air-conditioning units and between the two what looks like a letter.
But no, it's a bonus game.
11) Don't try to jump to the next building, you won't succeed. Just turn
around and go back the way you came. Oh, yeah. One more thing.
Agents have suddenly appeared on the roof of the two buildings.
Dispatch them and be very careful when your trying to climb down the
ladder, mess up once and the fall will kill you. Once back on the
ground, notice the red awning across from you? Go just in front of
it and use the rod jump. Switch to bare hands and grab the ledge and
pull yourself up. Move all the way up the fire escape and use the
rod jump trick to get on the roof and then move on to the next
building with an agent on top. Kill him to attain a PDA. Move onto
the next building and you'll see a crane. Get the rod out and smack
the front part of it, that little black bar. Now jump onto the crane
and walk out to the very edge (walk is D-pad, not analog stick.) Use
the rod jump (don't forget to press forward AFTER you have activated
the jump) switch to bare hands quickly and grab the ledge in front
of you. Smite the Agent Delta with your Staff of Whacking and obtain
yet another PDA.
12) BWAHAHA! At last, the last rod ley seed. Very simple to get, stand in
the ley line and jump normally. Use the nearby fire escape to get to
the street floor. But you really want to test out that new legacy
drive you got don't you? Well luckily there are four Agents right
there, willing to be your play things. Equip the rod and try out the
legacy drive. Nice, one of the Agents has a PDA. Now it's back into
the subway with you. This time look for two switches on the wall. Go
to them and press them. This will cut alot of time off your trip.
Now go to the other end of the subway and get out of there. Once
you're out use the ley line if you need to, and head toward the
generator. Use the legacy drive just like you did on the guards
before. The doors on the Wisdom building have now opened. Lets use
them. (If you like to use the legacy drive alot, go back to the ley
line now and replinish your mental power. You will have to use the
legacy drive in the up coming fight.
--------------------------------Boss Fight--------------------------------
Boss: Hans
Legacy: Katar
Bio: The only non-executive officer allow to wield Legacy. He
specializes in lightning-fast attacks using a Katar Legacy.
Through experimentation with his genetic cells, he has developed
the power to merge his form within the dark shadows.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
1) First thing that happens is an action movie. He'll jump at you from on
top of the chandelier and you need to press O pretty quickly. Then he
does the weirdest thing. He'll meld with the shadows. So now what?
Well a very basic rule is that: You can have light without shadows,
but you can't have shadows without light. Up thats right, you need to
use the rods legacy drive on the chandelier. Stand on the red star
that appears on the radar and activate the legacy drive. It will
fall.
2) The Katar is one of the fastest normal weapons. So this is more of a
battle of speed rather than strength. For this reason I recomend the
Sword, but the rod has it's advantages too. In this fight KEEP MOVING
Hans is most vulnerable just after he's done an attack, so let him
try and hit you, miss, and then smack him with whatever you've got.
Also try and hit him several times because combos help. Don't just
run in, smack him and turn tail and run. Keep this up and he'll soon
die.
3) Just one more point of interest, if you walk into the remains of the
chandelier you'll be knocked down, so try and avoid that.
--------------------------------Boss Fight End----------------------------
End of Area 1 & 2.
--------------------------------
Area 3: China Town
Enemies: Dare Devil, Agent Alpha, Agent Beta, Agent Delta, Agent
Gamma, Arachnoid, Recon.
Weapons: Sword, Rod, Katar, Bare Hands.
--------------------------------
1) Congratulations on beating the first area. Now you're in china
town... and of course your surrounded by enemies. I like to use my
favorite weapon, the katar, in this fight but it's a little hard
because you can't do combos with it on level one and thats how they
do their damage. So use whatever you like. When you start to run low
on HP, two of the Agents have Vitality Crystals. Move down along
the path, keeping straight and Eliel will tell you she senses a
legacy aura coming from the building in the center. Ignore her and
go forward until you see a ley line on your radar. Go there to
replinish your health and to beat on a few more evil Agents.
2) See that building on the side with two lions out front with the two
Agent gammas walking out of it that looks important? Ignore it for
now, just kill the Agents and continue in the direction you were
going before. Be sure to back track to the ley line, Agent Beta
appears there. Going left from the suspicious looking building
you'll run into some more Agents. Four of them as a matter of fact.
After you've banished their lab made souls to hell, go further down
the street. Eliel will point out a place that looks suspicious. For
now, just pass it and keep going down the same road. You'll see a
couple of Agents in the distance and when you get close enough an
action movie will happen. When the option appears press triangle.
After that show them why they'll need Wisdom Inc.'s excellent dental
plan. For your hard effort you can aquire a PDA.
3) Moving along now, Eliel will point out a ley seed. Luckily, there is
yet another awning here. Get on top of it (for detailed instructions
look earlier in this FAQ) jump up normally and grab the ledge with
bare hands pull yourself up and kill the Agent Gamma there. Now go
all the way to the right and jump up on that very tiny railing right
up against the building. Use the rod jump trick to grab the roof's
ledge and pull yourself up. Then, go direction behind the building
and you'll see what appears to be a letter. It's another bonus game!
Pick it up and then go heal in the ley line, if you need to. Go back
to the place where Eliel said 'looked suspicous', by the green
awning.
4) To get up there you need to do a trick you were taught in the first
area. Stand just in front of the green awning, use the rod jump,
switch to bare hands and grab the ledge, then pull yourself up. Walk
towards the ladder (that menas D-pad) and keep using the action
button and you'll eventually grab the ladder. Climb up and run
across the ledge to your left, and jump onto that 'suspicious place'
mentioned a minute ago. Kill the Agent up there and enter the
building where the star is on the radar screen.
5) Go the the stairs (careful, don't fall) and kill the Agent. It helps
alot here if you go under the agent on the ramp. Get to the bottom
and go out the door, follow the single corridor, killing all enemies
along the way until you get to an intersection. Here a little
cutscene will happen where Viper activates his first trap. Swinging
Blades. Turn around and whack all of the Agents that show up (about
4 I think) and then return to the intersection. Take the left
passage and follow it past two blades until you reach another
intersection take the right passage this time. Follow that past two
swinging blades until (guess what?) yet another intersection. Once
again take the right path. Be careful, an action movie shows up here
6) This is one of my favorite action movies. You need to press
and then you need to press Triangle. Dispatch the DareDevil and
Agent Gamma and the arachnoid and Agent Delta. Don't forget the PDA
the arachnoid has, so very thoughtfully given to you. And then start
climbing the Buddha. (Isn't buddha the guy with the pot-belly and
vishnu the guy with all the arms?) Kill the Agent Gamma up on the
next part of the floor, and then fall back down to the first (or
just walk back down via the buddha) and beat on all of the enemies
that keep falling down there. Go back up to where you met that last
Agent Gamma and go all the way around to the other side of the flood
Continue climbing the buddha from there. When you've reached the
buddha statue again and climbed a little more, you'll need to use
the rod jump and grab to get to the next part of the ramp. Continue
to the second landing, go all the way around to the other side and
continue your sacriligious romp up the buddha. When you reach the
top use the rod jump and grab to latch onto the pipe and jump onto
the ledge. You've almost gotten the first ley seed!
7) Follow the shaft, leaving a trail of havoc behind you, until you come
to the golden dragon part. Basically golden dragons are going around
and around on this golden rings... hmmm.... golden rings that you
can grab to propell yourself up. Try it. The timing is a little
tricky so i suggest waiting until the dragon above you have just
passed over you until you move up (but pressing up triangle). Once
on top, go around and around until you've killed all the enemies,
and then go through the door that leads outside. Once outside to get
the ley seed, simply walk into the ley line and do a normal jump.
Then get down to street level. Do you remember that building that
Eliel pointed out all that time ago? It's the building with the two
lions out front of it. Go there and enter.
8) Drop down from the starting point, and kill the Recon. WooHoo!
Another PDA. Smash the pots in front of you, the one on the left
contains a vitality crystal. Get to the bottom floor and kill the
Agent Gamma. When you move on one of the first things you'll see is
Agent Delta. When you start to fight him two more Wisdom employees
will show up. After they're down for the count, keep going down the
corridor and take the first left that you come across. After
following the path past more swinging blades you'll notice that the
first right is where the buddha was. This time just pass by it. Keep
going and the next left you see, take it. Keep on that path and
you'll run into an arachnoid and Agent Gamma. After you have
finished your business with those two, (and their friends) At the
end of the hallway you see (sound cool triumph music) the last ley
seed!! As soon as you get it, an action movie starts.
--------------------------------Boss Fight--------------------------------
Boss: Raven
Legacy: Tonfas
Bio: Yanjun Zong, code name Raven. One of our high ranking officers at
Wisdom Inc. Cool-headed, but deadly. Like Calloway, he carries a
Legacy. He earned the name "Raven" for his incredible skills in
battle and he occupies a special place in the Wisdom organization.
His Legacy, Bi Xia, takes the form of a pair of tonjas. Combined
with his battle abilities, the weapon draws out his true combat
potential, which provides a great service to our company.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
1) As soon as you get the ley seed, Raven attacks! To counter a
potentially painful experience, press O.
2) Raven is one of my favorite characters in this game. Not only is he
the only boss you'll fight more than once (well there is one other
but you fight raven much more) he is also one of the coolest
characters just in terms of personality. In order to fight against
him I find it easiest to use the Katar. By using the 'O' attack you
can knock him up, into the air time after time and it makes this
fight pretty easy. When you get him down to half-life, the fight
automatically ends.
--------------------------------Boss Fight End-----------------------------
9) After Raven's crushing defeat, three of his agent friends will show up
Teach them why 'pain' is a four letter word and get out of there.
Head back along the shaft (heal if you need to) and at the
intersection take a left and kill the Agent Delta there. Continuing
on a cutscene will happen where viper increases the rate at which the
blades swing. So time it very carefully and get through them, after
you kill the arachnoid in your way. On the other side is a Recon,
knock him up along side his head and move on. Take the left left,
killing the Agents in your way. Work your way up the ramp and exit
the building.
10)Get down to street level, it doesn't matter how, and heal using the
ley line in front of the building with the big fire. Stand in front
of the fire and use the Katar's legacy drive. Grab the key, save, and
head inside of the building to fight Viper.
--------------------------------Boss Fight--------------------------------
Boss: Viper
Legacy: Snake Sword
Bio: Code Name: Viper (Real name erased from records). The youngest official
of Wisdom Inc, he received training at an early age at the Wisdom
Training Camps. Even as a rookie member of Wisdom, he showed enough
potential to be appointed to clean out New York Chinatown and conquer
the Chinese Mafia. After successfully accomplishing this duty, he was
awarded the executive rank of official for his talent and ambition.
Narcissistic almost to a point of obsession, he has a high opinion
when it comes to the subject of beauty, but his basis of beauty can
be incomprehensible. Moreover trying to understand his motivs proves
to be extremely difficult.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
1) Viper starts off this battle by jumping onto a platform above a gong. This
truly is on of the weirdest fights. To knock him down simply smack the
gong he's standing above.
2) When Viper is on the floor, try holding L2 to block most of his attacks. It
helps sometimes. Back him into a corner and hit him quickly, then back off
and smack him again. If he jumps back onto a gong, just hit it again.
When he's at about 1/3 life, use the Katar's legacy drive on him. one or
two will finish him off easily.
--------------------------------Boss Fight End-----------------------------
End area 3.
--------------------------------
Area 4: Wisdom Base
Enemies: Agent Alpha, Beta, Delta, Gamma, Demolition Trooper, Pyro
Trooper, Recon, Arachnoid
Weapons: Bare Hands, Katar, Sword, Rod, Snake Sword
--------------------------------
***NOTE*** A helicopter will be firing at you all the time, when you are
outside of a building.
1) Hey, way to go! Viper wasn't that tough, was he? Well, anyway from the
starting point go directly to your left. Climb on top of the stack of
crates and jump onto the next ledge. Run forward and drop (yes drop)
onto the floor directly in front of you. Rod-jump-and-grab the ledge
above you. Pull yourself and smite the Marksman for a PDA. Hit the air
duct and you'll automatically enter it. From there turn around and use
the ley line, if needed. Go right until you see a door opening. Go into
it. You'll be coming back here later.
2) Leave the fenced in area and you'll see a bunch of Agents coming after you.
Deal with them and grab the PDA. See the gate with a big "-12" on it's
side? Face that and on your left you'll see what appears to be two big
barrels in a cage. Your bare hands to climb on that, then the ledge above
it and kill the Marksman up there, and grab his PDA. After that get down
and you should see a fence with a bunch of crates at one end. Go to the
crates and jump over them. Climb up the ladder on your left and rod jump
to the next building. Climb the ladder and the helicopter will drop off
three agents. Dispatch of them quickly, but be careful, the helicopter
will still be firing at you. If you start to get low on life, use the ley
line. After they'll dealt with climb back down the ladder and rod jump
to the building you had been on before. Get down and go back to the place
where you left the building with the turret inside (there's a reason you
went to the helipad first). Enter the building.
3) Immediately run to your right, use the ley line there to heal if you need
to. Turn around, and walk down the stairs (ok run). See that big lift
with the button next to it? Go up to it and press that button, jump onto
the lift as fast as you can. Walk (D-pad) out as far as you can and rod
jump to the next ledge. Walk right under the turret, jump up and hit it
using the rod. Then rod jump to the ledge in front of you and press that
button. Enter the now opened gate and prepare yourself for an action
movie.
4) This is easily the best action movie in the game. Quickly press triangle,
, and O. After the movie ends... hurt them... alot. Keep going
down the shaft and on your left you'll see another demolition trooper.
Grab his PDA. Continue along the shaft and press the button at the end,
kill the troops on the bottom floor, and grab the card key the demolition
trooper had. Climb the stars and beat on the Arachnoid at the top, make
sure to get his PDA. Turn around and go through the near by gate, watch
out though, there's a pyro trooper and another Arachnoid in there. Now,
go back and go to that place where the card key system was and to activate
it just walk up to the thing on the side.
5) A cutscene will happen where you'll see the last ley seed. After that a
pyro trooper will literally appear out of thin air. So just hit him before
he has a chance. An arachnoid will probably join in, he's no problem. Be
sure that you get the PDA the pyro trooper has. Go out to the center of
the floot (Arachnoid on your right!!), climb up the boxes and kill the
marksman up there. After that walk over to the lift, press the button,
and kill the marksman up there. By this time you've probably seen the
yellow pipe that leads to the ley seed. Use it to get yourself over there.
To get that ley seed just walk into the ley line. Jump down (yeah, jump
down, you'll take a little bit of damage but oh well.) Remember that place
where you killed the arachnoid and pyro trooper, near where the trooper
with the card key was? Go back there but this time use the ladder on the
left side of the hallway. Go down that tiny corridor, heal if you want,
and then go to the other end where the big fan is. Jump up and stand on
that tiny ledge just in front of the fan. Use the Snake Sword legacy
drive and VERY QUICKLY go through the fan. You have a coupla seconds. Max.
Climb the ladder on your right, go down that corridor and head left til
you reach a gate.
6) Entering that gate you'll see two Wisdom Officials in your way. Zera and
Vixen. When they start running just follow them, you won't catch them so
don't try to hard. Keep going up the stairs until, killing everything in
your path. You don't need to worry about losing them, it's pretty much
one long corridor and Vixen will stop periodically to shoot at you. When
you reach the laser beams, stand right in front of them until the hit
the bottom and start to go back up, then just run right under them. The
one on the floor, simply jump over. At the intersection kill the Recon
on your left and take the right passage. Kill the marksman in your way
and go left. You'll see something, after you go through the gate, that
looks like a reactor core. You'll see two ley seeds, ignore them for now.
Circle the reactor and kill the two Agents that dare to cross your path!
Heal with the ley line in front of the door, save your game, and go into
the gate. Across the way, you'll see three dots on the gate there. To
open that gate hit every dot with a weapon. You'll immediately be thrown
into a boss fight.
--------------------------------Boss Fight--------------------------------
Boss: Vixen
Legacy: Crossbow
Bio: Code name: Vixen (Real name erased from records) The only female
official of Wisdom Inc. She has an extremely destructive and
unpredictable personality. Common sense means nothing to her
nihillistic nature. Rumor has it that she only belongs to our
organization to satisfy her appetite for destruction, but the
truth remains unknown.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
1) This is another battle that starts off with an action movie. Press O to
block an arrow from Vixen. Vixen is probably one of the harder bosses
in this game. She's absolutely lethal long ranged, and deadly at close
range. To add injury to insult there are lasers on the floor that will
pop up and box you off in an instant. Let's not forget that fact that
she will ALWAYS be firing at you, even when the laser beams are up.
2) My recomendation is that you keep moving in this fight. NEVER run at her
directly, always try and curve into her, and do everything you can to
keep her off her feet. When she charges up a really powerful shot try
jumping to safety... it works... sometimes. One pattern of hers I have
noticed is that she'll fire two shots in a row, and then, for a brief
second, she's open to an attack. Try and capitalize on that by laying
the smackdown on her with a rod. When she scurries to one side of the
battle arena (and i mean, when she is MOVING) she's about to activate
the lasers. If your lucky, and talented, and beautiful, like me, you'll
eventually beat her.
--------------------------------Boss Fight End-----------------------------
7) Yay! Now you have the crossbow which is a very interesting weapon, but
more on that later. Anyway, after she's dead you're forced to re-trace
your steps. So go back to that reactor looking area. (Remember the ley
seeds you say earlier?) Exit out the gate to reach a cutscene where a
bunch of these panels will open up. You can use these to get the ley
seeds. Use the rod-jump-and-grab to reach the panel just outside of
the gate. Turn to your left and jump on the first panel you see. Use
the rod jump trick again to get the ley seed on the platform right in
front of you. Use the rod jump to get the next panel (there's alot of
this here) and you'll find an action movie! Press triangle for a kinda
funny action movie.
8) On the platform next to you, you'll see a screen with a bunch of green
looking text on it. Jump over there (that's rod jump) and press the
action button on that screen. The panel will start moving up, so wait
until it stops, then walk your way over to the last ley seed. Go back
to the moving platform, it should start moving. if it doesn't use the
action button on the console in front of the panel. When it reachs the
bottom simply run straight ahead and enter the hallway. Continue down
the hallway until you run into a really funny action movie. Press X to
see what's so funny. Smite the funny little people and continue down
the hallway, don't take any turns. You know you've gone through the
right gate if there is steam shooting off everywhere. Use the
crossbow's legacy drive and hurry through the steam. Keeping going
until you go through yet another door and reach a semi-large room.
Going forward you'll run into another cut scene, showing some Wisdom
Employees running in terror from your awesome might. Keep left and
you'll auto-matically jump onto the train.
9) Now you've found yourself facing three enemies. On the train keep an
eye out for things that will hit you on the head. So try and stay on
the edges of the train at all times. When you're done tormenting them
move towards the front of the train. Going forward you'll run into
Zera.
--------------------------------Boss Fight--------------------------------
Boss: Zera
Legacy: It depends.
Bio: Secretary of Wisdom CEO, Agla. She 'eliminates" all who stand in
Agla's way. Her battle skills are reportedlly fearsome, though no
one who has faced her has lived to tell about it. In reality she
is more agla's "right-handed woman" than just a secretary.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
1) First thing you have to understand is your not going to win this fight.
But don't set yourself up to get hit either. Also it is almost
impossible to hurt her with any weapon except the crossbow. So if
you're going to hit her with it, make it count.
2) Don't get to close to her. She will hurt you. Keep your distance from her
but don't let up on the attack. She'll keep moving on the train and
when she gets to the far end of the train you'll suddenly stop doing
any damage to her. Move a little closer and she'll knock you off of
the train.
--------------------------------Boss Fight End-----------------------------
End area 4.
--------------------------------
Area 5: Wisdom Blimp.
Enemies: Agent Alpha, Beta, Delta, Gamma, Daredevil.
Weapons: Bare Hands, Snake Sword, Katar, Sword, Rod, Crossbow
--------------------------------
1) Wasn't it nice of Wisdom to invite you on their blimp? Yeah, and now
they're attacking you to show how nice they are. Dispose of them and
continue along the ship. This is a really easy part, It's just a
line. Go all the way to the end to meet up with Alga, Raven, and Zera.
They'll drop you through a trapdoor.
2) Go across the hallway and kill the guards in there. Go out of that room
and turn right. When you go through the doorway Raven shows up out of
nowhere to kick you. Press O to avoid that. Moving along, continue
down and go down the ramp right in front of you. Raven will show up
again, press Triangle to duck. Go back and stick close to the wall.
You'll reach a bar. The kind you order drinks at, not the pipe kind.
Be forewarned. Another action movie is about to show up. Move toward
the bar and Raven will show up! Press Triangle and then .
Jump over the railing toward away from the door you came out of, and
fight the three agents there. Use the elevator just behind them, and
you'll be back to the area just after the original entrance.
3) When you arrive back on the first floor, go through the wooden doors,
after you've beaten those two guards to a bloody pulp. You'll find
Raven. And an action movie. Press O, O, and then O.
--------------------------------Boss Fight--------------------------------
Boss: Raven
Legacy: Tonfas
Bio: Yanjun Zong, code name Raven. Former employee of Wisdom. His
loyalty was with our leader Agla, but turned against us in an
attempt to return the prototype legacy, Bi Xia, to her original
form. His rebelillion came after several Wisdom officials met
defeat against Josh Calloway. After leaving Wisdom, he came into
contact with Josh Calloway. He later headed into the Mayan Ruins
to acquire Orichalcum, but was defeated by Zera. He handed his
Legacy, Bi Xia, to Josh Calloway before meeting his end.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
1) He's much tougher than the last time you fought him. Including new and
improved attacks. And now he plays dirty. Not only does he not give
you any breaks, he'll also kick you when you're down. So don't spend
so much time on your back. He also has a new flashly attack that
doesn't seem to hurt me. Maybe it's just my game.
2) Raven comes hard and fast and doesn't let up. The only thing you can
do is try and knock him out first. Keep switching weapons, especially
to rod, that seems to do the most damage. Keep this up and he's not
hard.
--------------------------------Boss Fight End-----------------------------
4) Aw great! Now the airship is falling apart all around you! Go through
the doors to the room Alga had been in. This time you'll use the door
instead of the floor. (Heh, that rhymed.) Anyway, you'll find
yourself in a cargo hold. Move forward and Josh will immediately Josh
will grab a parachute and jump out.
--------------------------------
End area 5.
--------------------------------
Area 6: Flatlands.
Enemies: Just the normal. And Chakrums and some really Evil guys
with semi-legacy's
Weapons: Same as last area.
--------------------------------
1) Nice and short area, the blimp was. This is one of my least favorite
levels so lets get through it. So more forward and you'll encounter
three more guards. Kill them and then go behind the rock they jumped
off of. Action movie. Press Triangle. Then, do that thing you do. You
know, the one where you kill them.
2) There is a ledge to your left. Climb up the ones that are there and
you'll see a long passage in front of you. Follow that until you
get to a tiny little dip in the floor that doesn't seem to have any
purpose. But it does. Specifically for a BOSS FIGHT.
--------------------------------Boss Fight--------------------------------
Boss: Z
Legacy: Axe
Bio: Code name: Z (Real name erased from records) A very stoic and
quiet man. Formerly a hitman for Wisdom's rival organization
under orders to assassinate Agla. Agla repelled his attack with
ease. He attemped suicide thereafter, but agla praised his
ability highly, and he became a Wisdom Official. He has been a
loyal follower of Agla ever since.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
1) Z may not seem that formidable, you know, for an overweight white guy,
but he makes for a good boss fight. The axe is a very slow weapon,
but if you don't want to get hit by it, trust me. So use speed to
advantage and keep moving so he won't hit you.
2) Eventually rocks will start falling on you, so be very careful. When
Z starts spinning, just get away from him. He seems to be most
vulnerable when he's just finished an attack. So stay away from him
when he's doing anything, and then run in hit him and run away. Z
has a very unusual ability, if you knock him into the air (say by
using the katar) he'll flip over his back and land on his feet. Z
will die without too much trouble.
--------------------------------Boss Fight End-----------------------------
3) Continuing forward you'll see two two ley seeds on either side. Keep
forward and kill the three Agents up there. To get the two ley seeds
simply get to the lowest level next to them, and run and jump towards
them. Simple enough. Hop the passage to opposite where that Arachnoid
is anddon't forget to show him the sharp end of your blade. You'll
see a giant boulder in your way. To destroy it use the Giant Axe
Legacy Drive. (GALD)
4) Keep going forard down the giant stairs and you'll find a FAS (Forced
Action Sequence a.k.a. a Cutscene) where you will lose all of your
weapons. Yeah thats right. You're going to have to fight with your
bare hands for a change. But before you can "Aw, Dude!" A demolition
trooper charges you. Fight like a demon and you'll come out on top.
Here's a tip: If you can get behind him, you can keep comboing off
back. Now right in front of you you'll see one of those guys that
took one of your weapon crystals. Kill him... and this time; it's
personal... WELL IT IS!! Killing him gets you the Giant Axe back.
5) On your left you'll see an Arachnoid and Chakrum. Try and beat them
with your newly re-aquired Giant Axe. Turn around and climb those
ledges behind you. Kill the Recon there, and then the marksman on the
ledge above that. Get back to the ground floor and head towards the
waterfall. You'll run into the Demolition trooper. Shove that Axe
into the small of his back and continue toward the waterfall. Smite
the marksman and then turn back. Head to the other end of the river
your now wading in and kill the two Agents there. Go back to where
you fought the arachnoid and chakrum. Climb up the ledges to your
left. At the top you'll find an action movie. Press O to avoid being
knocked onto the river below. Go all the way down the ledge and jump
onto the platform across from you. Go aaaallll the way on the passage
and jump into the water. This is your first swimming lesson.
6) In order to swim you need to use the jump button () and the left
analog stick to maneuver. up = down. that's all you really need to
remember while swimming. Now swim towards where the two agents are.
Kill the demolition trooper and the evil guy that stole your weapon
crystal to get the Katar back!! YAY!! Now your the dangerous machine
you once were. A recon will attack out of no where so be on guard.
Climb up to the ley line to heal if you need to (and lets face it,
all you had was an axe and your bare hands, you need to heal) and
continue in that direction to find a chakrum. Kill him and get back
down to the ground floor.
7) Go down that narrowish corridor and kill the arachnoid down there.
Then turn around and and back back to where you got the Katar back.
Go right there and follow the passage and eventually you'll run into
and arena type place with a bunch of enemies inside. Kill the
arachnoid first and then go after the Legacy Agent. Once you've dealt
with him, Magnus appears.
--------------------------------Boss Fight--------------------------------
Boss: Magnus
Legacy: Broadsword
Bio: Code name: Magnus (Real name erased from records) A true
straight-shooter. A talented soldier with battle skills that match
Z's. His hatred for interpersonal politics has earned him many
loyal followers within the organization. He only feels alive in
the heat of the battle, and he only belongs to Wisdom in order to
fight.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
1) This is another fight that starts off with an action movie, press .
Magnus is a pretty cool character. Mainly because he has a big sword.
Many people have compares the broadsword to Cloud of FFVII fame. I
disaggree, Cloud's sword looked alot more like a butcher knife. Well
at any rate, Magnus is slow, like Z, but you still don't want to get
hit by it. Interesting note: you can't knock him into the air. Just
doesn't work. Guys like this understand one thing: Power. So show him
your power by using the Giant Axe the hurt him.
2) When fighting this guy, keep moving (noticing a trend in all these
bosses?) circling around him until he attack, then hit him in the
back, hard and quick. Don't use legacy drives on him, doesn't do very
well. (At least for me). So concentrate on just hitting the guy and
he'll fall soon. He isn't that tough.
--------------------------------Boss Fight End-----------------------------
8) Go back until you see the ley line. Heal and go up another level. Then
jump across the small chasam and kill the agents up there. After
they're dead and decayed and powering my chrystler (little joke for
all those oil people out there) you'll get the Crossbow weapon crystal
back. Get down to the ground floor and go up the narrow corridor. Go
all the way to the end you'll see a little pool. Activate the crossbow
legacy drive and jump into the water. Swim straight down, then forward
then straight up. Get back onto dry land and follow the passage until
you see two ley seeds across a very long lake. We'll get to those some
time later. First kill all the agents who very stupidly decided to try
and stop you. Move to your left and take vengence on the Legacy Agent
there. You'll get the rod back. Go up the next level and kill the
marksman there. heal is you need to. Then go back, right by the lake
and a Legacy Agent will have showed up. Get the snake sword back.
9) Now, prepare yourself. It's not a boss fight, it's not an action movie,
it's the broadsword ley seeds!!
--------------------------------
***BROADSWORD LEY SEEDS***
How to get.
1) Seriously, so many people have problems with this part it's not funny.
This is one of those points where you should LISTEN TO ELIEL. She's a
scientist-turned-weapon. She knows what she's talking about. First
off, rod jump onto the platform by the lake. Press yourself against
the wall as close as you can. Then walk (D-PAD!!) out toward the edge,
sticking as close as possible to the wall. When your out as far as
you can go, equip the rod. Here goes nothing.
2) Use the rod jump (be sure your pressing forward) and the IMMEDIATELY
switch to the snake sword and use it's action (triangle button) to
grapple to the other side. If done correctly, you will land right
next to the blue ley seed.
--------------------------------
10) Ok, now jump onto the next ledge where the other ley seed is and grab
that one. Jump into the lake and have a little more fun swimming
and head toward the waterfall. Get onto the ground in front of you
and follow the passage into the next room. From there stand on one of
the circles on the floor (doesn't matter which one) and activate the
broadsword legacy drive. Go into the next room and fight Dr. Wiseman.
--------------------------------Boss Fight--------------------------------
Boss: Dr. Wiseman
Legacy: Boomerang
Bio: Code name: Dr. Wiseman (Real name erased from records) A cunning
misanthrope. The brain of our organization. He was formerly a
successful biochemist, but he was ostracized for delving too deep
into research considered taboo by most other researchers. Agla
values his abiliy, and he agrees to join the Legacy project as
long as he could continue his own research. His knowledge on
Legacy is second only to Agla's.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
1) I hate, hate, hate, HATE this fight. Not only do you not fight the Doc
for most of it, there is constantly four Agents at any given point
trying to hammer you, so it's a five-on-one fight. If you kill any of
the agents another will take it's place. So in this fight you need to
avoid the enemies while you smack the two robot things that are moving
all around the room. Try the axe or the broadsword, O attack, to hit
those thing, they have the widest arc.
2) The semi-good doctor isn't that hard himself. Just hit him as best you
can and he'll die. The trick is avoiding the other guys that are all
trying to kill you. One more thing, try and stay close to Doc, you
won't win a long range battle with him.
--------------------------------Boss Fight End----------------------------
End area 6.
--------------------------------Boss Fight End----------------------------
Area: Maya Ruins
Enemies: Recon lightning, Chakrum, Recon Tandem Red, Recon Tandem Blue,
Marksman.
Weapons: Bare hands, Giant axe, boomerang, snakw sword, rod, sword
broadsword, crossbow, katar
--------------------------------
1) Aren't you glad that's over with? Anway, on to stage 7. Here
you want to start off by killing the enemies that are right
behind you. On your left (from the starting point) there are
some stone ruins with a chakrum there. Kill the chakrum, and
acquire his PDA. Keeping turning around and fixing the view
until you see two helicopters in the background. Go that way
and kill the idiotic agents along the way. You'll notice a
big hole in the middle of one of the ruins. Don't use it just
yet. Move to that ruin to your left (while facing the heli-
copters) and Smite the Chakrum and Lightning with your +4/+4
Broadsword of kick ass. (OK, lame attempt at 8-bit theather
rip off.) Anyway go back to that big hole and fall down it.
2) Right yourself and move down the corridor, be sure to kill the
Marksman at the first turn. Keep on down the hallway, you'll
run into several more enemies. In the upcoming room there is
a ley line, so use this opportunity to heal yourself. Once
you've done that head over to the hole opposite the ley line.
Oooo, hey. More water. So, what are you waiting for? Go for
a little swim. Oh yeah, it's way too far for a normal swim,
use the crossbow legacy drive. When you get to the other side
there are two Tandem's waiting for you. When you've turned
them into little more than a memory, move on through the
gate ahead of you. ACTION MOVIE!!
3) An interesting action movie to be sure, Press Triangle and a
door will open after ward. First, kill all of the enemies in
this room. After you are done with them, head through the
gate with a above it. The fire can hurt, so don't get
in any contact with it. To avoid the fire completely, use the
rod jump to get ontop of the snake heads. and jump from one
to the other. Move along and a gate will raise in front of
you. You'll see two dragon heads spitting fire between the
two in the middle of the room, and two Lightnings on top.
Beat the Lightnings (they'll drop down at you when you get
anywhere near them) and then rod jump over the blocks and
get the ley seed on the other side. Now face the snake heads.
Move to the right and kill the Lightning there. Go down to
the otherside and destroy yet another Lightning there. Eliel
will notice the statue head here isn't breathing fire. So use
the swords legacy drive on the statue head. When thats done
the skull will drop down, so get it and return to the room
where you got that last action movie. When you get close to
the center a cutscene will automatically happen and another
door will pop open. Use it and kill all the enemies around.
4) Go all the way down that long hallway and once you go through
the gate you'll see an area filled with platforms sticking
out everywhere. Start off by switching to your bare hands.
Then (from the starting point) get onto the platform on your
right. Keep going forward until your on the platform almost
directly across from the column in the middle. Jump up onto
the raised platform, and then onto the one in the corner, the
one that's turned lengthwise to you. Go up as far as you can
and then turn around. Hop onto the ledges there until you
reach another statue head. Use the Katar legacy drive to
activate this one. Jump onto the platform use above you and
face the statue head. See those blocks that make up it's
back? You need to get on those. Use the rod, you won't make
it with your bare hands. Turn toward the ley seed and jump.
Get the ley seed, grab the skull and then drop down, right
between the two columns. Keep climbing up until you reach one
of the original steps you were on. Go out the gate back into
the center room. Once again, just approach the center circle
and a cutscene will happen. Kill the Lightning there and be
on your way.
5) Head down the green hallway and you'll see a skull and a ley
line. This is easily the easiest part of this dungeon. Simply
use the leyline to replinish your concentration and go to
where the statue heads are not blowing hot air. Stand in the
center, equip the boomerang and use it's legacy drive to get
the skull. Grab the skull and go back to the center room.
When you use the skull at the center room, the last door will
open. Equip the rod and use the rod-jump-and-grab to get onto
the ledge just below the now open door, and then again onto
the ledge just above that. Save and use the ley line to heal,
boss fight coming up. When you think your ready, go through
the door.
--------------------------------Boss Fight--------------------------------
Boss: Zera
Legacy: You'll see.
Bio: One of the original Legacies that caused the "Great Disaster" of
Atlantis. EOE and other Legacies are all replicas, designed with
her as the base model. The existence of other genuine Legacies,
besides Zera, has not been confirmed. Her memory has recorded
every single even that has occurred since her creation. Zera
showers Agla with her knowledge of Atlantis. Her loyalty to Agla,
who became her master and restored her role as Legacy, is
undying. She will do anything to aid Agla's ambition, even if his
goal of recreating the "Great disaster" may end in the loss of
her master once again.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
1) Oh, how wonderful. Zera again. Well this fight is a lot more fun than
the last one, and this time you can actually hurt her with any weapon
it's just hard to hit her. Zera has learned quite a few tricks this
time around, so expect the unexpected.
2) When Zera splits into four people and starts circling you, then you
want to keep moving and jumping. The giant axe and Broadsword seem
to work pretty well against her, but don't count out any other weapon
just because of that. Use what you want. Just watch out for her very
own legacy drive. That hurts. By the way, her own legacy drive is
pretty much any of the ones you have. You can't hurt her while she is
spinning around you, so don't waste your time. Keep dodging and soon
-er or later, she'll die.
3) Oh yeah, Raven will give you his Tonfas after you beat Zera. Pretty
good weapons.
--------------------------------Boss Fight End----------------------------
End area 7.
--------------------------------
Area: Wisdom HQ.
Enemies: All Agents, Daredevil
Weapons See above + Tonfas.
--------------------------------
1) You're doing great! This is the very last area, so have fun
with it. You'll start off this one surrounded with enemies.
Kinda. Anyway dispose of them quickly and head toward the
main elevator in the center of this room. Kill the Agent over
there and then take the right staircase (action movie!) press
O and kill the agent. Before you take the passage on your
left, continue on forward and kill the agents there. Turn
around and go down that passage on the left. (now right). You
will encounter Agent Delta nad Daredevil on your way, they
die pretty easily. Use the elevator on your left.
2) Go forward to the intersection. Destroy the agent on your left and
then take the right passage. When you get close to the door there, a
cutscene will happen where four agents will pour out of the door.
Use this opportunity to use the worst weapon in the game: the
boomerang. When you've realized it's a horrible weapon, switch to a
good one and kill them all. Go into the room and get the agent that
didn't rush out at you. Get his PDA. Exit the room and move all the
way down the hallway, past the elevator on your right, and into the
room at the end. Enter the library(?) and head toward the stairs.
ACTION MOVIE!! Press X to avoid many more scars. Kill him, and leave
the room. Head toward the elevator in the middle and use it.
3) Enter the room on your left and make those agents glad they took out
life insurance. Head down the corridor and enter a lounge. Kill all
of the agents there and head out the double doors. Inside you'll find
agents Delta and Beta. You know what to do. Now head down the hallway
through the next set of doors. Split Agent Gammas head, go into the
next room. Wow, Wisdom has a indoor swimming pool? Even if they are
evil I want to work there! Oh yeah, and people are going to try and
kill you. Kill them first. Follow the pool around to your left, heal
with the ley line if you want. Keep circling the pool until you get
to the Diving board. Climb up and be prepared for an ACTION MOVIE!!!
Press to knock Agent Gamma off his high horse. Or in this case
his high diving board. Climb down and kill the Agent Gamma. Get the
item and leave the room. When you enter the corridor again two agents
will have shown up. Deal with them and continue down the corridor.
Two more Agents will show up. Send them to hell along with the rest
of their clonie friends. Go back through the lounge all the way back
to the elevator.
4) After you exit the elevator go forward. Just noticed that in the
library room there are two rooms behind the library shelves that I
can get into. Anyone know why? Anyway, At the intersection in front
of the elevator, turn left and then take your first right. Use the
elevator there to go back to ground floor. Follow the passage back to
the first room and go all the way around the floor to the shutter
that reads "WISDOM." Walk up to it and it will automatically open. At
the intersection you'll run into four Agents. Kill them and at the
right passage. Two Agents will show up, so kill them. Follow that
path and take the first elevator on your left.
5) Move forward to the intersection. A bunch of agents will converge on
you, so just try your best to destroy them all. Then turn right and
enter the doors on your left. It's another library. Follow the path
until you reach a cutscene with an arachnoid climbing the ladder.
(Note: Rarely a glitch will appear where you'll see Josh climbing the
ladder. Your game will freeze if this happens.) After that go and
follow the arachnoid. Kill him and the data disk is yours. Leave the
library and take a left. Take the next door on your right. Kill any
and all enemies in there and then leave that room and go right this
time. Use the door at the end of the hallway. Kill the enemies in the
room. Head toward the star in the center of the room and a cutscene
will automatically happen. Exit the room and use the elevator on the
right.
6) From when you exit the elevator go right. Follow that path and take
the first (and only) path on your right. You'll see an elevator with
a red star on the radar. Use it. Then move forward and kill the three
agents there. (The other recon is down the path on your right). After
they're fertilizing my petunias, (by that I mean dead) take the right
passage where the recon came out of. You'll find yourself on a ledge.
Move toward the end on your right, but not all the way. Jump off and
you'll land on a box. Jump down again and kill all the agents that
are trying to make you little more than a bad memory. There is a lot
of enemies here. So just keep walking around and get them. If your
hurt, you can use the ley line in the center of this area. Now, at
the far end of this area there is a ladder. Climb up it and go toward
the end. There is a little section that sticks out. Stand on the one
closest to the wall and right the camera view. (R2). Then do a run
jump, bare handed, and grab the ledge across from you. Pull yourself
up and then grab the pipe. Push yourself across and don't stop till
you get to the end of the pipe. There climb up the ladder. At the top
a recon lightning will jump down at you, so kill it and continue up
the next ladder. Across the room you'll see a switch with a bunch of
arrows pointing at it. Go up to it and flick the switch (action
button). Then grab the pole and slide down it. Go through the door
and heal if you need to. Then go toward the gate and follow the path
up the stairs, and up the elevator.
7) Go forward and turn left. Go down the hallway and turn right, that
path will lead you back to the first room. Get down to the floor and
kill the three agents there. Before you use the elevator in the
middle, go back to the library across the room, through the original
gate, up the elevator and on your left. There was a door on the
ground floor that will now open. Follow it and you'll wind up on a
ledge with a chandelier in the middle of the ceiling. Rod jump toward
it and you should land on it. Rod jump again to get to the other side
of the room. Head through the door and kill the two agents in there.
Get the letter looking thing on the table. Yay! The last bonus game!
Now go back to the room where you started off this level and take the
elevator in the center.
8) Head forward and kill the Demolition trooper past the gate. Right in
front of you, you'll see another gate with some agents behind it.
Go over there and make them earn their $200 a year. By that I mean
kill them. Go all the way down the hallway and at the office at the
end you'll see half of a sword. Kill the recon lightning there and
get the 1/2sword. Turn back and go to the center room. This time
climb up the stairs. Kill the two Tandems in there and then equip the
crossbow. Face Marksman and then hold on L2. Use the O shot until he
is dead. Go to the next room and kill the agents in there. Then go
to the fireplace and get the other 1/2 of the sword. Then climb up
the stairs go around and kill the Lightning there. Pick up his PDA
and scurry back to the center room. The swords will automatically
be inserted into the door. Head through them and you'll appear in a
room with a circle in the center, surrounded by unlit torchs. Stand
on the circle and use the corresponding legacy drive, as it appears
on the floor. They'll appear in this order: Sword, Rod, Katar, Snake
Sword, Crossbow, Axe, Broadsword, Boomerang, Tonfas. Then go to the
elevator that shows up.
9) Follow the passage to find Alga.
--------------------------------Boss Fight--------------------------------
Boss: Alga
Legacy: Zera
Bio: The CEO of our multi-national corporation, Wisdom, Inc. He never
reveals his true intention to anyone, and he holds absolute
confidence in his actions. Due to his overwhelming charisma and
determination, he has played a key role in the 20th century
history of the underworld in unseen ways. His name, Agla, means
"Thou art forever might, O Lord." in Hebrew.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
1) So finally the truth has been shown. Zera is the original legacy from
Atlantis. Freaky. Anyway Alga is a pretty fun boss fight. He has
every trick, of every weapon, including legacy drives, at his
disposal. He will use everything he has constantly, and he never lets
up. Not only does he do quite a bit of damage with each hit, he also
has speed to his advantage. Add in a quick recovery time and he is
tough.
2) First thing to do, is tell you how to tell when he's going to do a
legacy drive. When he raises his sword above him, run toward him and
jump over him. Lightning will appear where you once stood. When he
brings the sword back and then sticks it straight out, move to one
side fast, it's the Katar legacy drive. When the sword is dropped a
little and then brought up, he's using the Boomerangs Legacy.
For the rest of the fight, I find it's easier to switch back and
forth between the Katar and giant axe. Use the katar to knock him up
into the air, and after he starts using the Rod or Katar legacy drive
switch to the giant axe, move around behind him and hit him as hard
as you can. He'll die soon as long as YOU KEEP MOVING.
--------------------------------Part 2------------------------------------
Boss (Final): Alga merged with Zera
Legacy: I guess he is now
Bio: (As written by Alga) My true goal... to recreate the "Great
Disaster" that destroyed the continent of Atlantis. Ever since
Zera told me that the great disaster was caused by the vast
energies unleashed in a battle between two powerful Legacies. I
have dedicated my life to recreating this event. Josh Calloway's
possession of EOE (a.k.a Eliel Evergrand.), his rebellion against
Wisdom, and his victory against it's officials are all part of my
plan. Would it be foolish of me to say that I did all this out of
pure curiosity to witness a power never before seen? Or is it
just a desire to satisfy an appetite for destruction? My body,
now more than several hundred years old, is the closest thing to
immortality in this world. This is all thanks to Terromea, which
rules my cells, and Zera, who has provided me with the gift of
her knowledge.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
1) Tough boss. Be can't you feel that surge of adrenaline? That euphoric
feeling you get with the knowledge that you, and only you, have
almost beaten this game? The last fight, the one where, ok enough of
that. Anyway he is a very tough boss. You'll notice that he changes
color throughout the entire fight. This is the one thing that really
makes him a threat. Other than that, just don't get hit by him and
you'll be fine.
2) When he changes color you have to hit him the the corresponding weapon
color. That means:
Yellow: BroadSword
Green: Boomerang
Purple: Snake Sword
Light Blue: Katar
Blue: Rod
White: Tonfas
Red(ish): Sword
Clear: Everyone says bare handed, but for me any weapon works.
Black: Giant Axe
When he uses his own overdrive (purple lightning) get as close to him
as you can, and smack him hard with the right weapon.
He's not really that hard, just keep this up and he'll die. Oh yeah,
and don't forget to KEEP MOVING.

the main street, just after a cutscene where Eliel points out a ley
seed on top of a building, take the first alley on your left. You'll
see a little fence in area. Stand on the garbage next to it and rod
jump-and-grab the fence and pull yourself up. Switch to first person

it climb up it. The bonus game is in between the two air conditioning
units on the top.
2. 3 min. Battle: China Town; At one point, in the first part of China

looking chandelier (come to think of it, it looks more like a
birdcage). Rod jump over to it, you shouldn't need to grab it, and
rod jump again over to the other side. There is a door on your left,
take it and you'll be in a room with two Agents. The bonus game is on
