2) Yue Yings Background

This is the in-game bio for Yue Ying

"Wife of the Great strategist Zhuge Liang. Was said to have supported her
husband from the shadows with her knowledge of astronomy, geography and
military strategy. She was apparently quite unattractive but Zhuge Liang
pursued her when he heard tales of her wisdom."

The only thing I can add to that is that according to the game she was the
inventor of the Tiger Tanks (Juggernaught). Read into her legend for more
detail.

3) Unlocking
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=

In DW4:XL all the characters are available from the start, but if you are
playing DW4 then all you have to do is clear Chapter 4. Simple really.

4) Moveset
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=

To sum up her moves in one word it would be crowd-clearer. Thats two words?
Bummer! Its hyphenated so meh! Anyways, Yue Ying is not only good at crowd
clearing she is also a pretty effective duelist. Here are her moves...

S: Simple slash from left to right.
SS: Same as S just in the opposite direction.
SSS: Overhead crush, straight onto opponents head.
SSSS: Another left --> right slash although slightly angled.
SSSSS: Similar to SS except slightly angled.
SSSSSS: Quick 360 degree spin swinging weapon with her. Hits all around.

T: Throws weapon like a boomerang, hits in front... when fighting her you will
learn to hate this move >.<"
ST: Yue Ying turns her back on the enemy and rams the non-blade end into the
enemy, simple launcher. Avoid this like the plague.
SST (TTT): Thrusts weapon into enemy, twirling the shaft. OK i guess, effective
against single enemies, can get good damage but is rather unwieldy to aim.
SSST: Similar to the final hit of her S combo, except with charge up time and
more power. Useful for crowd clearing.
SSSST (T): Similar to ST, except she hits the enemy with the blade launching
high into the air. Press T again for a follow-up attack.
SSSSST (T): A mini-musou, effective with orb effects... great crowd clearer,
I spam this move often... I find it very useful.

O: Yue Ying spins around on the spot swinging her weapon with her, hitting +
juggling everything around her. Ends with a final swing outwards and upwards.
O (while critical): Same as normal Musou except the fire element is added and
there is an extra 360 degree spin before the final one.

R3: Announce - Moderately useful, strikes a groovy pose. "Fight me if you dare"
Stuns all enemies in a radius.

Horse: Bog standard, left-right slashes.. *yawn*

X + S: 360 Twirl in air swinging weapon as you go. Fairly good jump attack.

X + T: Flips and drives point of weapon into ground. Causes shockwave.

5) Legend Stage
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=

Ride of the Juggernaughts. Scary, huh? ^_^

Fairly simple, quite linear. No bodyguards allowed (like they make a
difference).

Guide and guard your Juggernaughts through each of the 5 Tiger Generals. I
never really had much trouble with this legend. Just mow down... KILL KILL KILL
*ahem*

Your opponents will be:

Zhang Fei
Huang Zhong
Ma Chao
Zhao Yun
Guan Yu

Just mow them down, the Juggernaughts can help.

6) 10th Level Weapon
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=

REQUIREMENTS: Current Weap Lev = 9
             Difficulty set to Hard or Expert.
             Good Stats of course!

Oblivion

Level 10
Atk + 53
Carries orb effects constantly


DW4: This has to be THE most annoying 10th to get in DW4. Rather than rip
someone elses guide off, I highly suggest you check out:

Highly informative site that provides a detailed method of getting Oblivion.
Has a good way of completing the Nanman Campaign even if your not looking to
earn Oblivion.

DW4:XL however isn't too difficult. You must play her legend stage on Hard or
Expert Mode. Hard being the obvious choice. You must make it through the first
three Tiger Generals WITHOUT LOSING A SINGLE JUGGERNAUGHT. Then you'll recieve
the message. So in a nutshell,

Lose no Juggernaughts
Defeat Zhang Fei
Defeat Huang Zhong
Defeat Ma Chao
Yue Ying earned the Ulimate Weapon OBLIVION. Woohoo! Go us!

7) 11th Level Weapon
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=

REQUIREMENTS: Current Weapon Lev = 10
             Dificulty set to Expert.
             Preferably MAX stats.

Nether Realm
Atk + 60
Tiger Amulet 18
Huang's Bow 13
Horned Helm 14
Herbal Remedy 18


OK, the requirements first...

Kick. All. Tiger. General. Ass.
Capiche?
Also you have got to keep all the Juggernaughts alive. Some things I have read
state that it acceptable to loose two. I have not tested this, but it's not
difficult to keep them all alive.
Don't rush too far ahead as troops may appear behind the Juggernaughts and
surprise you. It's a 60 minute stage, kick back and take it slowly.

Now I got to thinking and LOGICALLY (I haven't tried) it must be possible to
earn Oblivion AND Nether Realm in one try... Has anyone tested? Mail me with
the address below to tell me.

Thanks to the many people who helped me with this (I've forgotten all your
names so please contact me if you want your credit. (Really sorry!)

It is NOT possible to earn both in one sitting. So your better off earning
Oblivion on Hard Mode than going for them both!

8) Orbs
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=

Yes those lovely shiny things that make or break a situation and that are a
pain in the posterior royale to obtain. Yue Ying fares well with most orbs.

Fire: Since Yue Ying juggles a lot (C1, C2, C5, C6) this can be quite useful.
Lightning: Hits for light damage on the crowd. I don't like but I guess it can
be useful in the right situations.
Ice: I loved this orb until I got a Vorpal. Useful with the right character. As
Yue Ying has many 360 degree attacks she can freeze an entire crowd.
Poison: Ugh. No comment.
Blast: Only slightly better than poison. use at your discretion.
Vorpal: Yaaay! I'm favourable to Vorpal on ALL characters. Yes. I'm bias, sue
me! Insta-kill enemies and deal extra damage to generals. Vorpal rules imho.

as it will be filed under B. For bin. This is my personal choice.

Saddle: Shadow Runner. Don't fall off. Nuff Said.
Orb: Unless you didn't read Ch. 8 you will know that I am impartial to Vorpal.

Peacock Urn: P. Urn = More Life... More Life = More time to kick ass.
Conclusion? Easier to attain victory.

Tortoise Amulet: Hand in Hand with Peacock Urn. Same reason.

Tiger Amulet - More damage = Quicker Kills. I really don't need to explain
this.

Wind Scroll - Hit more enemies, like it!

Herbal Remedy - Increase damage on charges, I spam C6. See my logic?

IF you earn the Nether Realm it comes pre-installed with Tiger Amulet and
Herbal Remedy. I usually replace these with M. of Musou and Meat Bun Sack.
They help out quite a bit. IMHO of course.

10) Costumes
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=

1 - Green Breastplate, white skirt-like garment and blue head-gear.
2 - Same as 1 with a colour swap. Purples and golds now. (Earned at Rank 12)
3 - Same as 1 with leg guards and black hair. (Earned at Rank 7)
4 - Same as 3 with a colour swap, Green and gold now. (Earned at Rank 7)
5 - Black hair, short armour skirt + cloak. Original colours. (Rank MAX)
6 - Colour Swap of 5. (Rank MAX)

11) Misc

Best Level Ups (IMO!!!)

Attack: Xiao Qiao Legend/Zhang Fei Legend.
Defence: Dong Zhuo Legend.
Life: Sun Ce Legend/YT Rebellion.
Musou: Sun Ce Legend/YT Rebellion.
Weapon XP: Xiao Qioa Legend.

Thats about all I can think of for the minute!
