1) Who is Meng Huo?

The King of Nanman. He controlled the lands south of Shu, but lead a rebellion
against them. He fought with Zhuge Liang, who had come on an expedition, but was
no match for Zhuge's wit. He was captured seven times, and Zhuge Liang released
him each time. This impressed him so much that he agreed to serve Zhuge Liang and
  the Shu Kingdom.

2) Why Should I Use Him?

Meng Huo is one fun guy to use. Great musou, massive power, and nice manskirt.

3) Moves and Weapons

Regular Attack: Meng Huo's regular attacks are slow, yet strong. Good crowd
                  control too.

T             : Spins around arms outstretched.

ST            : Lifts his enemies off the ground with his fists. Standard
                  juggler, and slow.

SST           : Fires his gauntlets out like missiles. Not like the nice laser
fans of doom we all love, but it's got nice rance and width.
Stuns opponents, and is somewhat slow.

SSST          : Belly flop onto the enemy. Knockback effect, plus a peek up his
                  manskirt. >_<

SSSST(T)      : Same as ST, but the enemy is launched higher. Press T for a
                  follow-up attack.

SSSSST        : Pounds the ground. It gets a fancy fire effect with his 4th.

Mounted Attack: Like every other mounted attack in the game(save for those
few good ones). Standard right-to-left swinging. However, his
charged mounted acts like his SST.

Dash Attack   : Belly slide into the enemy. Meng Huo is briefly open to attack
during this time. Causes a nice stun effect though, and another
                  peek up his manskirt. >_<

Jump Attack   : Belly flop, and more fan service to the ladies. >_<

Musou Attack  : Pounds the ground repeatedly. A great Musou, it shreds up
                  crowds very well.

True Musou    : Fire element added, plus two extra ground pounds added in not to
                  mention a knockback effect.

  Weapons:
  Nanman Gauntlet
  Attack +19  4 Hits
  (Varying Stats)

  Beast Guantlets
  Attack +34  5 Hits
  (Varying Stats)

  Beast Master
  Attack +48  6 Hits
  (Varying Stats)

  King of Beasts
  Attack +45  6 Hits + Fire

  HP Max +88
  Attack +27
  Mounted Attack +54
  Mounted Defense +54

Weapons are obtained randomly in each stage. The later the stage, and harder
the difficulty, the better the weapon you will receive. However, 4th weapons
must be obtained in a precise manner.

Stage: The Nanman Campaign (Nanman Side)
Requirements: Defeat Ma Chao, Ma Dai, and Zhang Yi OR defeat Zhang Fei, Zhang
                Bao, and Guan Xing.

Given Meng Huo's speed, you'd think this stage would be tough, but you ARE the
supreme Nanman commander, no? Ignoring the speed hindrance, this is a fairly
simple 4th to acquire, and the only problems will be dealing with Zhao Yun, Ma
Chao, and Zhang Fei. After clearing the objectives, a Precious Item report will
show up on the West side of the middle mountain.

An easy way to complete 4th weapon quests is to have a fresh character(one
who is not leveled up) be first player, and a stronger character be second
player. It does not matter who the 4th weapon is for, or who kills the supply
captain/gets the item. The objective is what's needed to be completed.

4) Overview

Meng Huo is slow. He's also slow. Let's not neglect the fact that he is slow.
Given that info, you can derive the fact that he is slow. That's the only thing
that keeps Meng Huo from being a top character. He also has a rather short reach.

However, find a big crowd for Meng Huo to run to, and you'll find he is a VERY
efficient killing machine. His regular attack is powerful enough on its own, but
Meng Huo's 6th charge and Musou lets him rip up people very easy. His high Life
lets him take some hits, and the Mounted modifiers on his 4th makes it more fun
when you ride around on Red Hare. Meng Huo's SST is also good for stunning in-
coming troops of soldiers, so use it if you feel sadistic.

Against officers, you shouldn't have such a hard time since they're never too
overly aggressive, despite Meng Huo's speed.

With his 4th and a decent Elixir, if you chain Meng Huo's SSSSST into his Musou
immediately, you'll find that his bar recharges instantly, so a longer musou, and
  more killing!

  Recommended Equipment:
  Red Hare Saddle
  Peacock Urn
Wind Scroll/Dragon Amulet/Way of the Musou
  Elixir
  Tortoise Amulet

5) Stage Strategy

  What stages? :pPpPpPp

  1. Nanman Campaign
Head East and snuff out Ma Chao, Ma Dai, and Zhang Yi's offensive. Head for
the East fort and take out any enemy forces there, then head to the West fort
and eliminate any Shu attackers there. Get rid of what's left of Shu in the
West, then finish off the rest of the Shu officers protecting their HQ. Ahui
Nan and Dong Tu Ne will abandon the Nanman forces, but don't let that deter
you. Also, going into Zhuge's camp will trigger a cutscene, which will lower
your morale. Exert any and all anger on every crossbowmen you see in Zhuge's
camp, and kill off that Prime Minister. However, if you absolutely love Zhuge,
you can cause him to retreat by eliminating every officer on the stage, then
waiting till at least the 30 minute mark.

6) Questions and Answers

Q: Manskirts are for the Scottish.
  A: That's not a question. And that's mean. :(

Q: I fufilled the requirements for Meng Huo's 4th weapon, but no Precious Item?
A: You sure you're playing on Hard?
Q: Are you asking me a question? You're supposed to answer.
  A: It's, uh, rhetorical.

Q: I grabbed the Precious Item, but all I got was this cruddy 1st/2nd/3rd weapon.
A: :PpP, you used Gameshark/Sharkport save that has basic 4th Weapons. Start a
brand new game file, or use EvilR's Weapon Customizable FAQ on GameFAQ.com to
     fix the problem.

Q: My Meng Huo does no damage!
  A: 3rd time you didn't ask a question. :p Refer to above and get yourself a +20
     Tiger Amulet somehow.

Q: Where do I get 2nd/3rd weapons and good items?
A: I shop at You Ting Wei side for weapons, Wu side for items. Hard mode for best
     results.

  Q: This FAQ is horrible.
A: Make a better one then.
  Q: I just did.
  A: >_<

There's a reason this wasn't on the contents.

It's a big government conspiracy, you see. Why, this conspiracy is so big, it'll
conspire you just by me mentioning it, so I can't tell you.
