II) Introduction
Hai, HAI! So, as I stated in my Future Trunks (Fighting) FAQ, writing
up character guides for Dragonball Z Budokai Tenkaichi 2 has become
somewhat of a hobby of mine. Okay, here’s the low down – I love Son
Goku. I’m the world’s biggest Goku fan boy (only I don’t fall into
the “ZOMG!!1 Hee cud tottali beet mistac gowhan!!1111shift+1” section
of Goku fan boys). When I first started watching DBZ (in late 1999) I
noticed that Goku was one of those guys that just didn’t give up, he
always strived to become better and it clearly showed. It was this,
plus his personality and that fantastic hairstyle that made me like
him so much. In short, he became my hero. He became my hero in 1999
and he still is to this day. It was only a (slightly long) matter of
time before I wrote up an FAQ for him! Yes, this FAQ will focus on
his transformations as well. So we’ll be looking at Base form, Super
Saiyan, Super Saiyan 2 and Super Saiyan 3.

IV) Goku’s profile
Goku is the main character of Dragonball, Dragonball Z and especially
Dragonball GT (Dragonball Goku Time). He was originally sent to Earth
to destroy its inhabitants by the Saiyans. When he landed on Earth he
was found by a kindly old man named Gohan who took the child (at the
moment named Kakarot) in as his own. Sadly, Kakarot’s violent nature
made it difficult for Gohan to take care of him. During a hike across
the mountains, Kakarot fell several feet and landed on his head,
badly injuring it. It was this fall that made him forget about his
“programming” to destroy the inhabitants of the planet Earth and from
that day forward, he became a peaceful good natured boy.
Throughout his life, he went on many adventures; he took part in
Tenkaichi Budokai’s, he searched for the Dragonballs and came across
many enemies, some of which eventually became his friends. During
Dragonball, Goku meets up with Bulma, Yamcha, Krillin, Tien, Chaozu,
the Demon King Piccolo and more. All those listed above became his
friend in Dragonball, except for Piccolo, who’s offspring Piccolo Jr
would go on to fight alongside Goku in DBZ. During Dragonball Z, Goku
found out about his Saiyan heritage from his big brother Raditz.
During the following battle with Raditz, Goku was killed while
sacrificing himself. While in the afterlife, he trained with the
renowned King Kai and learned some new techniques, eventually leaving
to do battle with Nappa and Vegeta.
After this battle, Vegeta would dub Kakarot his rival and from this
point onwards, trained to be better than his rival. Once Goku arrived
on the Planet Namek to aid his friends, who had gone off to search
for the Dragonballs, he did battle with 4 out of 5 Ginyu Force
members. He beat Recoome with a single blow to the stomach and it was
at this point that Vegeta began to suspect that his rival had become
a Super Saiyan. Goku sustained heavy injuries during his battle with
Captain Ginyu, so he was placed into a rejuvenation tank to recover
his wounds. After fully healing up, he immediately made it to the
battle with Frieza. The tyrant had just murdered Dende and had beaten
Vegeta severely. Before dying from a Death Beam through his chest,
Vegeta, through tears, admitted to Goku why he acted the way he did.
Goku buried the Saiyan Prince soon after.
Announcing that he was going to finish Frieza off, Goku and the
intergalactic tyrant engaged in a massive battle. After being hit by
a Spirit Bomb, Frieza was thought to have been destroyed, but it only
injured him. Frieza showed his frustration by gravely injuring
Piccolo and blowing up Goku’s best friend Krillin. Enraged at this,
Goku transformed into a Super Saiyan right then and there. This boost
in power won Goku the fight and he was thought to have been killed
when Namek blew up. He survived though, using one of the Ginyu Forces
space pods to crash land on the planet known as Yardrat. It was on
this planet that he learned the Instant Transmission technique. After
returning to Earth, he was told by Future Trunks about the upcoming
Android invasion. Goku and his friends trained for 3 years straight.
On the fateful day, the Z fighters confronted the androids 19 and 20.
During his battle with Android 19, Goku’s heart virus (which Future
Trunks had warned him about) started up, weakening the Saiyan. He was
saved by Vegeta and spent the rest of the Android saga, bedridden.
After recovering from that, he went to the Hyperbolic Time Chamber to
ascend past the level of an ordinary Super Saiyan, along with Gohan,
Vegeta and Trunks. During their time inside the chamber, Goku managed
to get Gohan up to Super Saiyan status. He also discovered the
weakness of the USSJ2 form and so he devised a way to get used to the
Super Saiyan form. He and Gohan were now able to remain as SSJ’s,
even when relaxing and sleeping. This has been called the Full Power
Super Saiyan form or FPSSJ for short.
During the Cell games, Goku gave up during his fight with Cell and
instead had Gohan fight the monster. It was only after Android 16’s
head was destroyed, did the boy achieve Super Saiyan 2 status. Sadly
however, cell showed how much of a sore loosing prick he was, by
threatening to blow up the Earth with a Kamikaze attack. Goku bid
farewell to his friends and his son and used his Instant Transmission
to teleport Cell to the planet of King Kai. The ensuing explosion
killed Goku, King Kai, Bubbles and Gregory. Goku chose to remain in
the afterlife after his destruction by the hands of Cell and would
not meet up with his friends until 7 years later. It was during his
time in otherworld that Goku learned Super Saiyan 2, Super Saiyan 3
and the Fusion Dance.
After returning to Earth for a day to participate in a tournament, he
ditched it to try and thwart the threat of Majin Buu. Around this
time, Vegeta let himself be taken over by the wizard Babidi and
became Majin Vegeta. He and SSJ2 Goku battled each other until the
Prince of Saiyans knocked his rival unconscious. Vegeta then died
trying to eliminate Buu. Once Goku awakened, he taught Goten and
Trunks the Fusion Dance and showed the group Super Saiyan 3 whilst
attempting to hold Babidi and Buu off, whilst Trunks searched the
Capsule Corp for the Dragon Radar. In other world, Goku met up with
Gohan, who had been brought there for training and later gained the
life of the Elder Kai.
Equipped with the Potara earrings, Goku initially planned to fuse
with Gohan to end Buu’s reign of terror, however his son was absorbed
by the monster instead leaving Goku to fuse with his rival, Vegeta.
The warrior known as Vegetto was born and dominated his fight with
Buu. He let himself be absorbed to rescue his sons and Piccolo from
inside Buu. Once inside the monster, Vegetto separated back into Goku
and Vegeta again and the two located and rescued their allies. Due to
Vegeta’s meddling, Kid Buu was born and blew up the Earth with a
single attack. It was on the Planet of the Kai’s that Goku and Vegeta
finished off Buu. Goku’s gigantic Spirit Bomb obliterated the evil
being.
The damage that Majin Buu caused was fixed with the Dragonballs and
Goku once again lived in peace with his family. 10 years later, he
and a few other Z fighters participated in yet another World Martial
Arts Tournament, but Goku left to train Uub – the reincarnated Buu. A
few more years later, In Dragonball Goku Time, Goku was turned into a
kid due to a wish from emperor Pilaf (who shouldn’t have been alive
anyway) and travelled the galaxy with his granddaughter Pan and
Trunks. In GT, Toei showed how much they loved Goku by making him a
god – Godku if you will. Base Kid Goku was an unstoppable force, even
Super Saiyan 4 was rendered obsolete in terms of power. >_>
This is his profile from the Budokai Tenkaichi 2 encyclopedia.
Base Goku –
This is the strong young man named Goku. As a Saiyan baby, he was
sent from Planet Vegeta to destroy planet Earth, however, an
unexpected head injury caused his Saiyan characteristics to
disappear. Instead of an evil beast, he grew up as a kind-hearted
Earthling under the loving care of his foster father, Grandpa Gohan.
When his older brother Raditz arrives on Earth and reminds Goku of
his original mission, Goku refuses to carry out the task, instead
choosing to fight for the good of Earth. From then on, Goku’s job as
the world’s greatest defender becomes increasingly difficult as he is
faced with many dark and formidable enemies, one after another.
No matter how large the crisis, he never gives up, and his loyalty to
the good of all people and to his friends makes him the ultimate
hero. Especially to Nick Kazama. However, since Goku spends his days
fighting evil, this makes life tricky for his wife, Chi-Chi, forcing
her to be the family breadwinner in an effort to make ends meat. In
Dragonball GT, Goku once again travels deep into space with Trunks
and Pan to defend the world on an adventure that puts the entire
universe in his hands.
Super Saiyan Goku –
The first time dad ever became a Super Saiyan, it was when Frieza
killed Krillin. As a super Saiyan, he looked different and his power
level raised to almost 50 times normal. That first time was scary,
since no one knew what was happening to him. It was like he had some
sort of strange sickness that came from his Saiyan blood. The more
emotional Dad got, the more his odd Saiyan powers would take over his
body. Oh, and Mom doesn’t seem to like super Saiyans very much.
- From Gohan’s Super Saiyan Observation Journal.
Super Saiyan 2 Goku –
Goku transforms from Super Saiyan into this form. After training in
Other World, he achieved the ability to transform into a Super Saiyan
2. A Super Saiyan’s distinctive change is more pronounced, and his
power rises further. In the duel with Majin Vegeta, who had powered
up thanks to Babidi’s magic, Goku changed into this form and showed
an extraordinary power.
Super Saiyan 3 Goku –
This is the form that surpasses Super Saiyan 2. In this form, the
hidden power in a Saiyan’s blood is taken to its limits. At first
glance, this is an extreme change when compared to a regular Super
Saiyan. The eyebrows disappear and the hair grows even longer. The
power of a Super Saiyan 3 is far greater than any Saiyan level
before. However, the transformation requires a lot of energy. Only in
Other World can a Saiyan keep this power for a long period of time.
Anywhere else, the time a Saiyan can stay at the super Saiyan 3 level
is very short.

V) Some of Goku’s combos
Okay, lets do this! Firstly, press the Square button 5 times and Goku
will perform a 5 hit combo that should come to 1610 damage. After the
5th punch, press the X button and Goku will get right in his
opponents face. Immediately after pressing the X button, press the
Square button another 5 times and Goku will perform another combo,
this one totalling 6 hits. On the third press of the Square button on
the second 5 button presses, Goku does 6 hits instead of 5. This
combo will come to 11 hits. This 11 hit combo should deal 3650
damage. Try this;
Square, Square, Square, Square, Square, X, Square, Square, Square,
Square, Square
Simplified version = Square x5, X, Square x5
Done that? Good. Alrighty then, onto the different combos!
-----
Heavy Finish – Square, Triangle
Kiai Cannon – Square, Square, Triangle
Flying Kick – Square, Square, Square, Triangle
Heavy Finish – Square, Square, Square, Square, Triangle
Lift Strike – Up + Triangle
Ground Slash – Down + Triangle
-----
Heavy Finish 1
Goku punches his opponent once and then launches his left fist
straight into the opponent’s gut; this hit stuns them for a short
amount of time. When you press the Triangle button, hold it down and
Goku will charge the gut punch. If you do choose to charge the gut
blow then (after it connects) the Heavy Finish hit will stun the
opponent for a longer amount of time, giving you just that extra bit
longer to make a more effective move. The charged Heavy Finish will
also do a bit more damage than usual. You can also add more hits to
the Heavy Finish combo you know! There are several possible outcomes
of how you could end this combo, try these;
1 hit finish – Square, Triangle
As mentioned above, Goku punches once and then delivers a hard punch
to his enemies gut.
2 hit finish – Square, Triangle, Triangle
Goku punches his opponent, punches their gut and then kicks them.
3 hit finish – Square, Triangle, Triangle, Triangle
Goku punches his opponent, punches their gut, kicks them and then
kicks them again.
4 hit finish – Square, Triangle, Triangle, Triangle, Square
Goku punches his opponent, punches their gut, kicks them once, then
twice and then a third time!
If you do decide to go along with the 4 hit finish, then Goku will
end up sending his opponent halfway across the screen with that final
kick he does. You should use this time to gather some ki, use his
“Give Me Energy!” Blast 1 move, or try to go into Kaio-ken or
something.
-----
Kiai Cannon
Goku punches his opponent twice and then moves both of his hands to
his sides, stunning the enemy. Like the Heavy Finish attack, Goku can
charge his Kiai Cannon move. Uncharged, the actual hit will do 780
damage. If you charge it, then it will cause 1340 points of damage as
well as knocking the opponent away. Of course you could just read the
little bit of text below this writing;
Kiai Cannon uncharged – Opponent is stunned slightly and receives 780
points of damage
Kiai Cannon charged – Opponent is sent flying and receives 1340
points of damage
If you decided to use the fully charged Kiai Cannon attack, then
you’ll probably (depends on the difficulty setting you’re using) get
a chance to charge some ki, use the “Give Me Energy!” Blast 1 move,
or use the Kaio-ken power up. You can even do an extra teleport
attack if you sent the opponent flying with this move. After they’ve
been knocked away, press the Triangle button again to have Goku
teleport near them and knock them into the ground!
-----
Flying Kick
Goku punches his opponent 3 times and ends the combo by planting his
feet into the enemies face 3 times. The resulting kicks to the face
will stun the opponent, so you could try to do another Flying Kick
move. Try this;
Square, Square, Square, Triangle, Square, Square, Square, Triangle
Simplified version = Square x3, Triangle, Square x3, Triangle
Keep in mind that you cannot do 3 or more Flying Kicks in a row, as
the opponent is knocked onto the floor after the second one. If you
went through with the full 2 Flying Kick attacks, then Goku should
perform a 12 hit combo, causing 2400 points of damage.
-----
Heavy Finish 2
Yup, Goku has another Heavy Finish attack to round of his 4 hit
(Square x4) combo! This Heavy Finish is exactly the same as the first
one, only Goku causes more damage with his starting punches. Try this
next combo twice, only charge the Heavy Finish attack on the second
version;
Square, Square, Square, Square, Triangle (not held down)
This should come to a total of 1540 damage.
Square, Square, Square, Square, Triangle (held down)
This one should come to a total of 2450 damage, almost double the
damage of the above combo.
Now, we’ll try adding some more hits to the combo! Try this;
Square, Square, Square, Square, Square, X, Square, Square, Square,
Square, Square, Triangle
Simplified version = Square x5, X, Square x5, Triangle
This should net you a 11 hit combo.
-----
Lift Strike
Ah, the Lift Strike! Here's a good move. It enables you to hit your
opponent up into the sky, leading for a very damaging combo. Remember
that you have to Goku perform AT LEAST 1 punch before you can perform
a Lift Strike attack. Try a Lift Strike without punching first and
Goku will instead do a ki blast. Let's break down the Lift Strike;
Firstly, punch your opponent and then immediately after that hit,
press Up + Triangle, like this;
Square, Up + Triangle
Notice how your opponent is sent up into the sky? The actual Lift
Strike move itself (like many melee moves in Budokai Tenkaichi 2) is
chargeable. Try the above Lift Strike again, but this time hold the
Triangle button down. Done that? Great, see how your opponent is sent
even higher into the air? Okay, stage 2! After the opponent is sent
hurtling into the air, press the X button and Goku will fly after
them, like this;
Square, Up + Triangle, Opponent is sent into the air, X
Okay, onto Stage 3. As soon as Goku reaches them, press the Square
button repeatedly to do a 7 hit combo to them whilst in the air. The
combo will end with the opponent being sent down to the ground again.
Try this;
Square, Up + Triangle, Opponent is sent into the air, X, Square,
Square, Square, Square, Square, Opponent is sent onto the ground
You can make that combo in the air a little more damaging by pressing
the Triangle button, instead of the Square button, as soon as Goku
reaches them in the air. Like this;
Square, Up + Triangle, Opponent is sent up into the air, X, Triangle,
Square, Square, Square, Square, Square
simplified version = Square, LS, X, Triangle, Square x5
This will do some more damage to the opponent. You can do even more
damage than that as well! Press the Triangle button after the 4th
Square button press to make Goku knock his opponent onto the ground
hard. Like this;
Square, Up + Triangle, Opponent is sent into the air, X, Triangle,
Square, Square, Square, Square, Triangle
Here's a simplified version just for you =
Square, LS, X, Triangle, Square x4, Triangle
Hope that's not too hard for ya! If it is, then practise it!
-------------------
Ground Slash
Finally, we come to the Ground Slash attack. This attack, like the
Lift Strike move, requires you to punch the opponent AT LEAST once
before you are able to perform it. Like this;
Square, Down + Triangle
Notice how your opponent is knocked onto his arse? The Ground Slash
is also chargeable, try it again, but this time, hold the Triangle
button down. See that? The opponent is now falling down in slow
motion!
Square, Down + Triangle (non charged), Opponent falls onto the floor.
Square, Down + Triangle (charged), Opponent falls onto the floor in
slow motion.
Do the charged one again and then try a combo on him, like this;
Square, Down + Triangle, Square, Square, Square, Square, Square
After this small combo, your opponent is knocked backward.
Here's another combo, that enables you to link in a Heavy Finish;
Square, Down + Triangle, Square, Triangle
For even more damage, try this one;
Square, Down + Triangle, Square, Square, Square, Triangle
And to add even more damage to the last 2 combos, have Goku perform
a 4 hit Heavy Finish, like this;
Square, Down + Triangle, Square, Square, Square, Square, Triangle,
Triangle,
Triangle, Square
Simplified = Square, GS, Square x3, Triangle x3, Square
For the last part in the Ground Slash section, I'm going to tell you
how to perform a teleport hit combo. It's really simple to pull off
too! Try this;
Square, Down + Triangle, Triangle, Triangle, Square
Remember to watch your timing when performing the teleport hits.
-------------------
Think we’re done for melee moves? Think again! Press the (R3) button
down! For you of those that don’t know what the (R3) button is, it’s
the Right Analogue stick press down. Tada! It’s SSJ Goku time!
Alrighty then, firstly press the Square button 5 times, the X button
as the opponent falls backwards and then hit that Square button
another 5 times to have Goku perform an 11 hit combo.
-----
SSJ Goku’s changed combo list
Flying Kick – Square, Triangle
Heavy Finish – Square, Square, Triangle
Heavy Finish – Square, Square, Square, Triangle
Kiai Cannon – Square, Square, Square, Square, Triangle
-----
Flying Kick
Goku’s Flying Kick has replaced the Heavy Finish 1 as his starting
combo finisher. Not only that, but the Flying Kick of SSJ Goku has
changed in looks too. Press the Square button and then the Triangle
button and Goku will do a 5 hit combo. No, that’s not a typo, he’ll
do a 5 hit combo! If you want to do an even longer combo, then press
Square, Triangle, Square, Triangle. Goku will now do a 10 hit combo.
Hehe, a 10 hit combo for pressing 4 buttons! Please note that if you
pressed the Square button a second time too quickly, then you’ll only
get a 9 hit combo. You have to wait for about half a second after
pressing the Triangle button the first time to have him do the full
10 hit combo.
-----
Heavy Finish 1
That’s right, the second combo finisher has been changed from a Kiai
Cannon into a Heavy Finish – the first of 2 Heavy Finishers. Remember
that SSJ Goku punches twice when you hit the punch button once. So
this will end up being a 3 hit combo;
Square (Goku punches twice), Square (Goku punches once), Triangle
(Goku does his Heavy Finish attack)
Remember to chain it with the other hits in the Heavy Finish combo;
Square, Square, Triangle, Triangle, Triangle, Square
That first Triangle button press is still chargeable, so charge it if
you want to do a tad more damage!
-----
Heavy Finish 2
What, another Heavy Finish already? Yes another Heavy Finish already!
This is EXACTLY the same as the last Heavy Finish attack you just
performed, except that Goku will punch his opponent an extra time
before using the combo finishing move. It should come up to a 5 hit
combo. But let’s make it longer shall we? Try this;
Square, Square, Square, Square, Square, X, Square, Square, Triangle
Simplified version = Square x5, X, Square x2, Triangle
Think you’re up for a longer one? Okay, then try this one;
Square, Square, Square, Square, Square, X, Square, Square, Square,
Triangle
Simplified Version = Square x5, X, Square x3, Triangle
Even longer? You got it!
Square, Square, Square, Square, Square, X, Square, Square, Square,
Triangle, Triangle, Triangle, Square
That should net you a nice little 13 hit combo!
-----
Kiai Cannon
The Kiai Cannon attack is now Goku’s last move in the combo list. Hit
that Square button 4 times and then press the Triangle button to make
Goku stun his opponent slightly. Press the Triangle button down and
Goku will charge the attack. The Kiai Cannon will now send the
opponent far away from you. Use a B1 move, or gather some ki in the
meantime! If you want to do a little more damage then after you’ve
charged that Triangle button and the opponent has gone flying, press
it again and Goku will perform a teleport hit, knocking them onto the
ground!
-----
Woah, where do you think you’re going fella (or girl)? It’s not time
for the blast moves yet! We’ve still got 2 more transformations worth
of combos to get through. Press (R3) again and its SSJ2 time.
Oooh, electricity! Okay then, firstly press the Square button 5 times
and then when the opponent is knocked backwards slightly, press the X
button to have SSJ2 Goku dash right up to them again. After he’s done
this, press the Square button again another 5 times. This should net
you a 12 hit combo.
-----
SSJ2 Goku’s changed combo list
Kiai Cannon – Square, Triangle
Heavy Finish – Square, Square, Triangle
Heavy Finish – Square, Square, Square, Triangle
Heavy Finish – Square, Square, Square, Square, Triangle
-----
Kiai Cannon
Press the Square button and then hit the Triangle button to make Goku
do his Kiai Cannon attack. Other than the reduced number of Square
button presses required to do it, the Kiai Cannon is exactly the same
as before.
-----
Heavy Finish 1
Heavy Finish is still Square, Square, Triangle, only now it does
slightly more damage than it did before.
-----
Heavy Finish 2
Heavy Finish number 2 is still in the same place it was the last time
with SSJ Goku. The only differences here are an extra hit and
slightly more damage.
-----
Heavy Finish 3
Yes, SSJ2 Goku ditches the Flying Kick in favour of ANOTHER Heavy
Finish! For this final Heavy Finish you need to press the Square
button 4 times and THEN hit the Triangle button. Let’s make this
combo longer shall we? We’ll skip straight to the longest combo. I
think you’re ready for it; it’s not exactly a hard one;
Square, Square, Square, Square, Square, X, Square, Square, Square,
Square, Triangle, Triangle, Triangle, Square
Simplified Version = Square x5, X, Square x4, Triangle x3, Square
-----
There’s just one more form to go! Super Saiyan 3! Press that (R3)
button. Voila! Super Saiyan 3 Goku has entered the building! This of
course is Goku’s most powerful form...
Random guy – But wait Nick, what about SSJ4??
Shut up. As I was saying, this is Goku’s most powerful form, so let’s
take him for a spin shall we!
Firstly Press that Square button 5 times, as the opponent is slightly
knocked backwards, press the X button to have Goku dash right up to
them again and then hit the Square button again another 5 times. This
should give you a 13 hit combo. Notice how his basic combo number
rises by 1 hit each with transformation? Anyhoo, his changed combo
list awaits...
-----
Super Saiyan 3 Goku’s changed combo list
Kiai Cannon – Square, Triangle
Flying Kick – Square, Square, Triangle
Heavy Finish – Square, Square, Square, Triangle
Heavy Finish – Square, Square, Square, Square, Triangle
-----
Kiai Cannon
As with SSJ2 Goku, the Kiai Cannon once again appears at the top of
the combo list. It will do 3 hits instead of 2, because SSJ3 Goku
will punch twice when you press the Square button once. Remember that
if you charge the Kiai cannon hit by holding down the Triangle button
then it will do slightly more damage and will send the opponent
flying away from you. Oh yeah, SSJ3 Goku can still perform his
teleport hit if you charge the Triangle button the first time. Like
this;
Square, Triangle (held down, opponent is sent flying), triangle *Goku
teleports over to the opponent and knocks them straight into the
ground.
-----
Flying Kick
Wehey! Goku gets his flying kick back! Remember? SSJ2 Goku sacrificed
this move for a third Heavy Finish attack. Well, if you missed this
attack whilst using the last form, relax, its back now. The Flying
Kick of Super Saiyan 3 Goku is the same as the Flying Kick that Super
Saiyan Goku used. He still does that little forward flip and it (the
actual Flying Kick move itself) still does 3 hits. Wanna get a neat
little 12 hit combo while using the Flying Kick move twice? Okay
then, try this out;
Square, Square, Triangle, Square, Square, Triangle
Simplified Version = Square x2, Triangle, Square x2, Triangle
This will give you that 12 hit combo. Remember to watch your timing
with this as Goku’s extra punch will probably put you off.
-----
Heavy Finish 1
Oh yes, it’s back again! Goku will now produce a 6 hit combo if you
use this first Heavy Finish attack, like so;
Square, Square, Square (Goku attacks 5 times), Triangle (Goku does
the Heavy Finish – A.K.A. the 6th hit of the combo)
Remember to try and chain it with the other 3 hits to do some more
damage to your opponent;
Square, Square, Square, Triangle, Triangle, Triangle, Square
Simplified Version = Square x3, Triangle x3, Square
Also remember that that first Triangle button press is chargeable.
The longer you keep it held down, then the more damage Goku will do
when his fist connects to the opponent!
-----
Heavy Finish 2
And to end SSJ3 Goku’s combo list, we have yet another Heavy Finish
move! Try this;
Square, Square, Square, Square, Triangle
And a 7 hit combo is produced. Now do this;
Square, Square, Square, Square, Triangle, Triangle, Triangle, Square
And a 10 hit combo at 4440 damage is produced. Lets make this combo
even longer, like so;
Square, Square, Square, Square, Square, X, Square, Square, Square,
Square, Triangle, Triangle, Triangle, Square
Simplified Version = Square x5, X, Square x4, Triangle x3, Square
This should give you a 16 hit combo. Right, that’s enough of the
Heavy Finish hits and the combo’s, let’s get straight onto those
Blast moves! Hit the Down button and the (R3) button simultaneously
to de-transform Goku back to his Base form.
-------------------
VI) Goku’s special moves
Oh yes, the Blast moves! It’s time to see the many, many moves of
Goku and all of his forms! Lets us start out with Base Goku’s blast 1
moves;
Give me energy!
How to do it = [L2] + O
Cost – 2 Blast Stocks
As soon as you do this, Goku will raise his arms into the air, whilst
yelling “Share your energy with me!”. Now, if you fly up into the air
and look around, then you’ll notice that the Spirit Bomb has
appeared! Using Give me Energy! is the only way you can use the
Spirit Bomb. If you want to make the Spirit Bomb more powerful then
charge it up by using this Blast 1 move 2 more times. You’ll notice
that the Bomb gets bigger and bigger each time you use it. Be warned
however, because Goku will be completely open while gathering the
energy for his most powerful attack. Knock the opponent away from you
and then get behind a rock or something. Now is the best time to use
Give me energy! If you are interrupted, then you will lose those 2
Blast Stocks and you’ll also have to charge the Spirit Bomb an extra
time (if you’re going for a fully charged Spirit Bomb that is...)
Also, please note that if you have Goku transform or tag him out of a
battle after he has used Give me energy! then the Spirit Bomb will
vanish and you’ll be forced to start all over again.
Kaio-ken
How to do it = [L2] + Up + O
Cost – 3 Blast Stocks
This is a power up move for Goku. As soon as you input the correct
button command, Goku will “KAIO-KEN!!” as his body is engulfed in a
red flame. This can be very useful in tight spots because Goku will
gain all the stat upgrades. They are –
Fist = Increased Strength for melee attacks
Lightning = Increased Blast 2 move and Ultimate Blast move power
Saiyan Armor = Increased defence
Light Blue Cloud = Allows you to fly around faster than usual, but
not by much
Note that when you use the Kaio-ken, Goku’s ki will be steadily
dropping constantly. You will not be able to power up either. Other
than that, it doesn’t change the way Goku plays or anything, his
combo’s remain the same and he becomes stronger. Kaio-ken also gets
Goku up to full ki.
Alrighty then, the Blast 2 moves baby!
Kamehameha
How to do it = [L2] + Triangle
Ki Cost – 3 ki gauges
Goku’s trademark attack, which he used throughout Dragonball Z! The
Kamehameha is a sort of combo beam attack as it does 6 hits of
damage. This attack, like many other attacks in Budokai Tenkaichi 2,
is a chargeable one. If you want to fully charge it, then it will
take you 2 seconds. Let’s take a look at the various damages you can
cause with this blue beam of destruction;
Non charged = 4800 damage
Halfway charged = It should do about 6840 damage
Fully charged = 8640 damage
Remember that on the higher difficulties, the opponent will regularly
teleport of out the way of the Kamehameha. So make sure that it will
hit them, before using it! Also, if you used the Kaio-ken power up
before using the Kamehameha however, then –
Non charged = 5280 damage
Halfway charged = It should do about 7500 damage
Fully charged = 9480 damage
Kaio-ken attack
How to do it = [L2] + Up + Triangle
Ki Cost – 3 ki gauges
This is a cool rush move. It replicates the Kaio-ken attack that he
used on Nappa in the Saiyan saga. Remember, the attack he used to
beat him with? Make sure that you are close to the opponent before
using this attack, as Goku doesn’t travel far whilst using it. Goku
lunges toward his opponent and knocks them up into the sky for 760
damage, he then flies above them and knocks them to the ground making
the 760 points of damage – 1520 damage. Finally, he moves quickly,
back to the ground where he catches the falling opponent and drops
them to the floor making the total damage of this attack – 6010 with
3 hits. If you use the Kaio-ken power up move before using the Kaio-
ken attack however... Goku lunges toward his opponent and knocks them
up into the sky for 1380 damage, he then flies above them and knocks
them to the ground making the 1380 points of damage – 2760 damage.
Finally, he moves quickly, back to the ground where he catches the
falling opponent and drops them to the floor making the total damage
of this attack – 11000 with 3 hits.
And now, Goku’s most power attack and one of the most damaging moves
in the entire game, it’s the;
Spirit Bomb
How to do it = Power up into Max Power mode and then press [L2] +
Down + Triangle
Ki Cost – 5 ki gauges
Okay, firstly remember that you CANNOT use the Spirit Bomb attack
unless you have used the Give me energy! Blast 1 move. Goku teleports
right under his Ultimate Attack, shouts “Here it comes!” and hurls
the big sphere of pure energy right at his opponent! Now I’m going to
list all the damages that this devastating attack can cause;
Charged once – No Kaio-ken = 16800 damage
Charged twice – No Kaio-ken = 15200 damage
Charged thrice – No Kaio-ken = 33600 damage
Charged once – Kaio-ken is activated = 18480 damage
Charged twice – Kaio-ken is activated = 27720 damage
Charged thrice – Kaio-ken is activated = 36890 damage
I’m now going to list the damages that can be achieved with a maxed
out Goku. To max him out (A.K.A. get him to level 160), equip 5 Title
[Tenkaichi]’s or 5 Kiss of 18’s on him.
Charged once – No Kaio-ken – Level 160 = 25550 damage
Charged twice – No Kaio-ken – Level 160 = 38290 damage
Charged thrice – No Kaio-ken – Level 160 = 51100 damage
Charged once – Kaio-ken is activated – Level 160 = 30520 damage
Charged twice – Kaio-ken is activated – Level 160 = 45710 damage
Charged thrice – Kaio-ken is activated – Level 160 = 60970 damage!
So yeah, now do you see why it’s known as one of the most powerful
attacks in the game? Do ya?? Of course you do. A fully charged Spirit
Bomb can be incredibly difficult to dodge, so use that if you want to
end the fight quickly, or show your friends up!
-----
Okaly dokaly! Transform into a Super Saiyan! And by that I mean press
the (R3) button to make Goku transform into an SSJ... Whatever, lets
just take a look at SSJ Goku’s Blast moves! Up first we have;
Wild Sense
How to do it = [L2] + O
Cost – 3 Blast Stocks
This is a very handy little move and it can come in very handy if
you’re having trouble with a constantly attacking opponent. It looks
as if Goku just does a weird movement and drains 3 quarters of his
blast stock, but something in fact has happened. When the opponent
next attacks you, hit that Circle button and Goku will teleport next
to them and knock them away! This only happens once, so save up some
more Blast Stocks if you wish to use it again.
Saiyan Soul
How to do it = [L2] + Up + O
Cost – 2 Blast Stocks
This is a cool little Blast 1 move. Goku performs the exact same
movements he would do if he were powering up and glows with golden
energy, while stating “Don’t hold back!” Now, the strength of his
melee attacks and the power of his Blast 2’s and Ultimate Blast have
become more powerful. Goku will even gain a weaker form of the Brick
Wall effect – ki blasts will not cause him to flinch and much weaker
characters attacks will experience great difficulty in moving him.
You can keep using Saiyan Soul to keep on increasing your attack
power, but it caps at 5. Meaning that if you use the Saiyan Soul
after 5 times, you’re just wasting your Blast Stocks, as Goku will
not gain more power! Now, I’ll list some of the increasing damages
caused by using Saiyan soul 1 – 5 times;
Normal Combo (Square x5, X, Square x5) –
0 Saiyan Souls = 4470 damage
1 Saiyan Souls = 4660 damage
2 Saiyan Souls = 4830 damage
3 Saiyan Souls = 5000 damage
4 Saiyan Souls = 5310 damage
5 Saiyan Souls = 5480 damage
Grab Move (Up + X) –
0 Saiyan Souls = 2980 damage
1 Saiyan Souls = 3100 damage
2 Saiyan Souls = 3220 damage
3 Saiyan Souls = 3330 damage
4 Saiyan Souls = 3510 damage
5 Saiyan Souls = 3630 damage
Angry Kamehameha (Fully Charged version) –
0 Saiyan Souls = 10010 damage
1 Saiyan Souls = 10430 damage
2 Saiyan Souls = 10780 damage
3 Saiyan Souls = 11200 damage
4 Saiyan Souls = 11760 damage
5 Saiyan Souls = 12180 damage
Meteor Smash (Including the damage the opponent takes when they
connect with the ground) –
0 Saiyan Souls = 10520 damage
1 Saiyan Souls = 10920 damage
2 Saiyan Souls = 11320 damage
3 Saiyan Souls = 11710 damage
4 Saiyan Souls = 12310 damage
5 Saiyan Souls = 12710 damage
Instant Kamehameha –
0 Saiyan Souls = 14020 damage
1 Saiyan Souls = 14580 damage
2 Saiyan Souls = 15140 damage
3 Saiyan Souls = 15690 damage
4 Saiyan Souls = 16530 damage
5 Saiyan Souls = 17080 damage
Now it’s onto his Blast 2 moves;
Angry Kamehameha
How to do it = [L2] + Up + Triangle
Ki Cost – 3 ki gauges
Oh yes! This is the move he used to defeat Frieza with on Namek! Goku
uses only one hand to launch his Kamehameha attack. This is probably
my favorite version of the Kamehameha. The Angry Kamehameha (like all
the others) is chargeable. Here, I’ll list the various damages for
you;
Non charged = 5040
Halfway charged = About 7840 damage
Fully Charged = 1010010 damage
There are only 2 things that I don’t like about this attack. The name
“Angry Kamehameha” doesn’t really suit it. I’d prefer Kamehameha of
Rage, heck I’d even take One Handed Kamehameha... Secondly, Goku says
“DARN YOUUUU!!!” when he performs it. Why does he say darn you?? It
should have at least been damn you or something like that. Here’s
hoping that he yells “YOU FOOOOOOOL!!!” when using this attack in
Budokai Tenkaichi 3!
Meteor Smash
How to do it = [L2] + Up + Triangle
Ki Cost – 3 ki gauges
This is Goku’s personal Rush move. He kicks his opponent away and
then slugs them with his fist, sending them even farther away.
Teleporting right behind them, he does a small combo, ending with him
kneeing his opponent in the back and then smashing them back down
onto the ground with his fists! This will produce an attack that
does 10520 damage spread amongst 11 hits. Use this move if you want
to surprise the opponent. Goku travels quite far when he uses this
rush move, so use it when in a jam. If you want, amp up the damage it
does with a few Saiyan Souls. You can see how much damage it does in
the Saiyan Soul damage section a little bit above this text you’re
reading right now!
Okay then, its Ultimate Blast time!
Instant Kamehameha
How to do it = Power up into Max Power mode and then press [L2] +
Down + Triangle
Ki Cost – 4 ki gauges
“Here goes!” says Goku as he looks toward the sky as if to plan a
strategy. He then proceeds to elbow the opponent and knock them into
the air, only to knock them back onto the ground a second later. He
begins to charge his most famous blast “KA... ME... HA... ME...” as
the opponent tries to rush him. However, the ever resourceful Goku
IT’s to their side and releases the blast “HAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!” and the
opponent is flying away! This attack is a different version of the
one he used on Perfect Cell in the Cell Games Tournament. In the
Anime, Goku charged his Kamehameha in the air as if to shoot it at
the Earth and cell, but he used his Instant Transmission technique at
the last second to appear right in front of Cell. THAT’S when he
launched his attack! This move will produce 21 hits at 14020 damage.
If you want, then spice up its damage rating with a few Saiyan Souls!
Goku doesn’t travel very far when rushing at his opponent to use this
move. So make sure that he is close when you want to use it.
-----
Woah, where do you think you’re going? We’ve still got 2 more forms
worth of Blast Moves to get through yet! Press that (R3) button to go
into Super Saiyan 2 form!
Ahem, the Blast 1 moves;
Instant Transmission
How to do it = [L2] + O
Cost – 2 Blast Stocks
I love this B1 move! This is the technique that Goku learned while he
was staying on the Planet Yardrat, straight after his epic battle
with the tyrant known as Frieza. Goku places both his index and
middle fingers on his forehead and instantly appears behind his
opponent. This technique can make some of the most difficult battle a
whole lot easier! My advice is to wait for the opponent to launch a
Blast 2 attack at you and then use Instant Transmission. Goku will
appear right behind his opponent while their still in the attack pose
allowing you to do more damage because you’ll be attacking them from
behind. This is a great little move to use and is very fun to abuse!
Hehe, rhyme!
Full Power
How to do it = [L2] + Up + O
Cost – 3 Blast Stocks
“Here goes!” says Goku quickly, as he does a small movement with his
hands. This moves does exactly what it says on the tin... erm command
list – It gets you Full Power! Goku enters Max Power mode, also
acquiring all the stat upgrades in the process. Use this move if you
want to use a Blast 2 or your Ultimate Blast move. Be warned however,
that Goku’s ki charging speed will be halved when the duration of
this Max Power mode comes to an end. To shake off this nasty little
side effect, simply power up into Max Power mode again, but by
yourself this time.
Blast 2 moves! NAO!!
Meteor Smash
How to do it = [L2] + Up + Triangle
Ki Cost – 4 ki gauges
If you think that this move is exactly the same as the last rush...
then you’re absolutely correct. Nothing changes except it does some
more damage and costs 1 more ki gauge to perform. SSJ2 Goku’s Meteor
Smash will now do 11530 points of damage to your opponent.
Bring on the Ultimate Blast!
Super Kamehameha
How to do it = Power up into Max Power mode and then press [L2] +
Down + Triangle
Ki Cost – 5 ki gauges
Super Kamehameha?? Is that the best move they could give to SSJ2 Goku
for his Ultimate?? Whatever. “Full power!” spouts Goku as he charges
up a bigger than usual Kamehameha wave. He then releases the beam
unto his unfortunate opponent, effectively causing 14800 points of
damage, spread across 8 hits. Be sure to use this attack when you
know the opponent isn’t expecting it, because this is not a rush type
move. It would be nice if it was, but it isn’t. Oh yeah, the Super
Kamehameha of Super Saiyan 2 Goku doesn’t come cheap either, at 5 ki
gauges required to use this attack be sure that you have ki to spare.
Also, if you used the Full Power B1 move before using the super
Kamehameha then it will end up doing 15440 points of damage. It’s not
his best Ultimate blast.
-----
*Grabs you and sits you back down on your chair* Still not done!
Press the (R3) button one more time and let us examine Super Saiyan 3
Goku’s Blast Moves! Like all his other forms, we’ll be starting out
with his Blast 1 moves;
Instant Transmission
How to do it = [L2] + O
Cost – 2 Blast Stocks
Good news, Instant Transmission’s back baby! You won’t be able to use
it as much as SSJ2 Goku could however, due to the fact that SSJ3 Goku
only has 3 Blast Stocks to spare, while SSJ2 had 4 of them. IT is
exactly the same as the last time – You can get behind the opponent
and deal more damage.
Power up to the Very Limit
How to do it = [L2] + Up + O
Cost – 3 Blast Stocks
This move is exactly the same as SSJ2 Goku’s Full Power Blast 1 move.
the only difference is the name. Power up to the Very Limit, like
Full Power, gets you straight into Max Power mode with all of the
stat upgrades. It also lowers your ki charging speed after the Max
Power phase has ended.
Blast 2 moves, Blast 2 moves!!
Super Kamehameha
How to do it = [L2] + Triangle
Ki cost – 4 ki gauges
Super Saiyan 2 Goku’s rather disappointing Ultimate Blast returns as
a Blast 2 move for his SSJ3 counterpart. It still does a lot of
damage and it still costs a lot of ki (4 ki gauges!!). The only
difference to the super Kamehameha now is that it is chargeable. Here
are the damages you can achieve with it (I’ll also include the
damages that you would cause if you used Power up to the Very Limit
beforehand);
Non charged = 6540 damage
Half way charged = It should cause about 9720 damage
Fully charged = 12360 damage
Also, note that it does take time to fully charge. It will take 3
seconds to charge the Super Kamehameha fully.
Super Explosive Wave
How to do it = [L2] + Up + Triangle
Ki cost – 4 ki gauges
No this move looks impressive! Goku releases a (what do you think?)
Super Explosive Wave that does 5 hits and 8350 points of damage. If
however, you used the Power up to the Very Limit B1 move before using
this, then it will do 10600 damage to the enemy. This can be a great
move for ending a battle with. Use this move when in a real jam.
Also, you know how when a character wants to use a Blast 2, or an
Ultimate Move and he or she always has to hop back a little if the
opponent is too close? Well, the Super Explosive Wave is another
story! Goku (and the other characters that can use Super Explosive
Wave) can use this devastating Blast 2 move without hopping back a
little bit! A very useful Blast 2 move we have here.
Okay then, one more attack and we’re done! Its time for his
impressive Ultimate Blast, named;
Super Dragon Fist
How to use it = Power up into Max Power mode and then press [L2] +
Down + Triangle
Ki Cost – 5 ki gauges
Hehe! This attack will look very familiar to you if you have seen
Dragonball Z movie 13 – Wrath of the Dragon! Goku uses this very
technique to destroy the gigantic monster called Hildegarn. SSJ3 Goku
rushes up to his opponent and bats them away with his fist before
exclaiming “If I don’t who will?? DRAGON FIST!!” The doomed opponent
can only watch on in horror as Goku charges toward them with a punch
that emits what looks like a golden Shenron. This powerful attack
does 12 hits and 18010 points of damage! Cool huh? Of course, if you
used that Power up to the Very Limit B1 move before using the Super
Dragon Fist, then it will end up doing 19090 damage to the
unfortunate opponent.
And that’s all for Goku’s moves!
-------------------
VII) How to use Goku
Well, he has many different forms, so there are a good variety of
moves to bamboozle your opponents with. Unfortunately, poor old Goku
suffers from that dreaded No Stun First Hit Syndrome, meaning that
all his punches after the first one can easily be blocked by the
enemy. Another weird thing is that Goku has quite a bit of trouble
making giants and Oozaru’s flinch, even his Super Saiyan 2 form is
crap at making giant characters flinch, at least in the first part of
the combo that it. Remember to time his charged blasts, so that the
opponent will rush right into them. When in SSJ2 and SSJ3 form, use
that Instant Transmission straight after the opponent has launched a
Blast 2 move and then unload a combo on them! Cycle through all of
his forms and use the moves that you feel are right for the battle
you’re in!
-------------------
VIII) Vs quotes
Have Goku fight the corresponding characters to initiate some special
dialogue between the 2 of them. Also, keep an eye out for the
glitches in this section... apparently Goku thinks that he’s Frieza’s
dad and that his son is his grandpa! O_o!! His SSJ form also seems to
confuse friend from foe, as he usually says “If you don’t give up
your evil ways, I’ll be here to stop you!” to most of his friends,
such as Yamcha and Tien.

IX) Additional notes on Goku
Ki Blasts;
- Base Goku shoots 5 ki blasts
- SSJ Goku shoots 6 ki blasts
- SSJ2 Goku shoots 7 ki blasts
- SSJ3 Goku shoots 7 ki blasts
Throws; All of Goku’s forms has the same throw. He picks his opponent
up by there ankle, spins them around and then throws them away.
Remember however that the damage increases with each form. Here are
the different damages;
- Base Goku – 2450 damage
- SSJ Goku – 2980 damage
- SSJ2 Goku – 3150 damage
- SSJ3 Goku – 3290 damage
Taunts; Press the [L1] button and the Up button at the same time to
taunt, when locked on to your opponent. Unlike his throw, Goku’s
form’s taunts are all different in one way or another. Here they are;
- Base Goku does a little stretch and says “What’s the matter? Come
get me!”
- SSJ Goku does 2 little hops while saying “What’s the matter? Comes
get me!”
- SSJ2 Goku does a little stretch with his arms while saying “Giving
up?”
- SSJ3 Goku does the same stretch that SSJ2 Goku did, but says “Come
on!” instead of “Giving up?”
- Take a look at SSJ, SSJ2 and SSJ3’s charged up ki blast. He shoots
a mini Kamehameha!
- With Goku wearing costume 6, go SSJ and take a look at his hair;
it’s the same style that the animators did Goku with in his fight
with Frieza! It’s a really pale blonde colour instead of golden. This
doesn’t work with SSJ2 or SSJ3 hair however.
- If you equip the [Halo] Z-Item on Goku then his character model
will now have a Halo above his head! This also works with Buu Saga
Vegeta .
-------------------
X) Frequently asked questions
Q) Is this your favorite form of Goku to use?
A) Of course! Goku is (to me) the most interesting and varied
character in the game.
Q) Which Goku form is your favorite?
A) Hmmm, hard to say really. I love using Base Goku for the Spirit
Bomb and I also love using SSJ Goku for the Costume 6 pale blonde
hair and the Angry Kamehameha. I love using SSJ2 Goku for the Instant
Transmission and I love using SSJ3 Goku for the Super Explosive Wave.
But if I really have to chose one... I’d say Base form Goku.
Q) How many times has Goku died in the series?
A) Twice. Once after sacrificing himself to Piccolo’s Special Beam
Cannon in order to stop Raditz and twice after using his Instant
Transmission technique to get the self destructing Cell off of the
Earth and onto King Kai’s planet. Cell blew up immediately
afterwards, killing Goku, King Kai and Bubbles. In the anime however,
Cell also killed Gregory. You’ll also notice that there was a little
bit of filler inserted where Cell should have blown up. Goku and King
Kai are able to have a nice little conversation before they get blown
up. In that time, Goku could have IT’d everyone to safety.
Q) What about Kid Goku, or SSJ4 Goku? Are you going to do an FAQ for
those two?
A) I dunno, I don’t really use those two that much, but you never
know... someday I might do one for them...
Q) How many forms of Super Saiyan did Goku reach?
A) Every single one of them. Including the non cannon ones, he
reached ; Gigi (fake) SSJ, SSJ, USSJ, USSJ2, Full Power SSJ, SSJ2,
SSJ3 and SSJ4. There were probably Full Power SSJ2, SSJ3 and SSJ4
forms as well, I can’t remember.
Q) Does Goku have any good alternate costumes?
A) *Angels singing* YES!! After 3 Budokai Tenkaichi 2 character FAQs,
I’ve finally done an FAQ for a character that has good alternate
costumes!! Goku has the most costumes out of anyone, at 6 outfits!
Here they are;
1) Orange gi from the Android and Buu sagas. (You know, the outfit
he’s worn in every single DBZ game since Budokai 2?)
2) Orange and blue gi with Kame symbol on it. (The one he wore at the
start of DBZ)
3) Orange and blue gi with King Kai’s symbol on the back. (The outfit
he fought Vegeta with)
4) Orange and blue gi with “Go” symbol on it. (The outfit he used
when fighting on Planet Namek)
5) Tattered orange and blue gi (the orange shirt is gone, revealing
his blue undershirt and his pants have numerous little tears in them.
Goku is also sporting some scratches and damage on his face and his
arms)
6) The best one! It’s the battle damage he received from his battle
with Frieza! Goku’s blue undershirt is hanging onto one shoulder by a
thread (literally!) and his pants are even more tattered than before.
Even more scratches and damage are shown on Goku’s body and his pants
and his boots are also dirtied. Go SSJ in this outfit and see what
happens!
Q) How many voice actors has Goku had over the years?
A) Oh man, tons. He’s had tons. I’ll add the one’s that I know of,
but I don’t know a few of the names. (I’ll only be listing Adult
Goku’s voice actors by the way);
1) Masako Nozowa (original Japanese voice actress)
2) Ian James Corlett (Early Ocean Dub voice actor)
3) Peter Kelamis (Ocean Dub voice actor, just before the Funimation
VA’s took over)
4) Sean Schemmel (Funimation voice actor – Goku’s current VA)
5) Kirby Morrow (Later Ocean Dub voice actor)
6) Jeremiah Yurk (UK dubbed DBGT voice Actor)
7) Unknown guy for an episode or two in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber
(from the Ocean Dub, in between the switch from Kelamis to Morrow. He
sounded like an African American man)
8) Crappy unknown guy from the UK dubbed DBZ movies (A.K.A. the He-
Man Goku voice actor, or the Yugi Moto Goku voice actor. He sucked.
Big time.)
9) Unknown guy from the English version of Dragonball Final Bout for
the Playstation 1 (I’m not entirely sure, but I think he might have
been voiced by Steve Blum. He sounded JUST like Blum, seriously)
10) Unknown guy from the Blue Water Dub of Dragonball (Blue Water was
notorious for re-using voice actors, adult Goku got Dende’s voice
actor for crying out loud! That laugh he did was annoying)
11) Nick Kazama (Reciting Goku’s lines, whilst watching episodes of
Dragonball Z)
So yeah, quite a few voice actors no?
Q) I’m a bigger Goku fan than you!
A) *Beheads you* Oh fear, now I’m the biggest Goku fan again. ^_^

XI) The Goku password section
Here, I shall be posting some passwords for you to try out. I’ve
given each Goku a title too, to give you at least some form of idea
of the Goku you will be fighting or using.
