INTRODUCTION

My name is Matthew Samson, but known as BloodshotVulcan on Gamefaq's. This is my
first faq and i chose to do it on Frieza from Dragonball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi,
a game for the PS2. The whole FAQ is dedicated to Frieza, and everything about
him/her/it in Budokai Tenkaichi or BT.
NOTE:
I will always add more as there is always more for me to learn about Frieza in
BT.

BUDOKAI TENKAICHI
================================================================================
The Budokai series began a few years ago, with Dragonball Z: Budokai, on PS2,
which was the begining point which has led us up to where we are at with
Tenkaichi, Budokai 1 was in japanese to mosts disappointment. Then came Budokai
2, also in Japanese but an improvement from the the first, more characters and
better game. Then came what was the best Dragonball Z game to come to PS2,
Dragonball Z: Budokai 3 which showed improved graphics, more characters,
the english language, and more. Some think that B3 is still the greatest and BT
is not as good. Recently Dragonball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi was released all over
the world, made by Spike, not Dimps who made B1,2, and 3. Tenkaichi is a
completely different type of game, a free-roaming game, where you travel
anywhere in the area and defeat the opponent using different means of Martial
Arts and Ki Mastery. Dragonball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi offers many new characters,
completely new gameplay and a range of different, entertaining modes.

FRIEZA

Frieza Voices

Frieza 1st Form
An evil alien creature, possesing terrifying transformation abilities.
Frieza assembled an army of superior warriors from around the galaxy, and sent
them out to conquer a host of planets. Whether selling the planets for profit
or adding them to his personal collection, Frieza was ruthless in his conquest
of all.
Fearing that the Saiyan race would one day rise up to oppose him, Frieza killed
Vegeta's father, King Vegeta, Goku's father, Bardock, and destroyed the saiyan
homeworld, Planet Vegeta.
In order to gain his wish for immortality, Frieza and his band of henchmen came
to Planet Namek in search of the Dragonballs. What he found, however, was much
more than he had bargained for.
His trusted lieutenants Dodoria and Zarbon were defeated, and not even his
elite Ginyu Force could suceed where they had failed. The situation only grew
worse, until finally Frieza's dreams of Immortality were shattered, and in his
rage revealed his true nature.
In this form, Frieza's Power level already exceeds 500,000. But in response to
Vegeta's continued challenges, he later transformed into even more fearsome
forms.
His favored attacks include the Death Beam and Death Ball attacks. His
overwhelming power typically allows him to fight in a calm, self-assured
nature.
The depth of Frieza's cruelty is somewhat concealed by his polished, almost
aristocratic manner of speech.
Frieza 2nd Form
In this form Frieza's power level can exceed 1,000,000! In this form, Frieza
grows much taller and bulkier and also sprouts two large horns.
In addition to Death Beam and Death Ball attacks, Frieza uses his great horns
as weapons.
Frieza 3rd Form
In his third form, Frieza's Power Level increases greatly and he changes in
shape again.
Frieza's great horns grow and there are now four of them, and his whole body has
metamorphisised into something far more hideous.
Also Frieza's personality reverts to the composed attitude he possesed in his
first form.
Firza now learns an array of new high speed beam attacks.
Frieza Final Form
Unlike his previous forms, Frieza's Final Form is small, sleek, and plain.
Despite his weak appearence, his power level is MUCH higher than his 3rd Form.
In this form, in addition to his Death Beam and Death Ball, he makes use of his
telekinetic powers and a new beam attack, Energy Cutter.
Frieza 100% Full Power
This is Frieza's final transformed state, in which he releases to combat the
mighty Super Saiyan Goku. Frieza's body in this form is slightly larger due to
a large increase in muscle and power.
In this form, Frieza utilizes his 100% Death Ball and Destructo Disc attacks.
Mecha Frieza
On the brink of death Frieza is rescued by his father, King Cold, who conducts
Reconstructive Surgery bringing him back once again.
It is supposed that in this form, Frieza has roughly the same moves and power
level as his 100% Full Power Form.
Icers/Changlings
Frieza's Race is known around the world as "Icers" or "Changlings."
There are four Icer's/Changling's known in existence, they are:
-Frieza
-King Cold (Frieza and Coolers' Father)
-Cooler (Frieza's Brother)
-Kuriza (Frieza's Son, appears in Neko Majin Z, a manga/comic designed by Akira
Toryama himself)

In DBZ, Fireza has a whole saga based around him, he demonstrates all of his
forms to the Z Warriors who oppose him. Frieza's first battle was against
Vegeta, when he was in his normal form. Then, at the wish of Vegeta, Frieza
transformed into his 2nd Form. Frieza destroyed all of his opponents, Gohan,
Krillin, and Vegeta, in this form, until the new, fused Piccolo appeared and
beat him. Then Frieza transformed into his 3rd Form showing more power than
the Z Warriors thought possible. Gohan and Piccolo fought him in this form,
Piccolo failed and Gohan came close to crushing him with a powerful outburst
of Ki. Frieza was begining to get fed up with them, so he transformed into
his Final Form, not like any of his others. More Power, More Speed, and Weird
Looks(all of his forms were weird anyway). Vegeta and Dende were killed by
his terrifying power, they thought Frieza had won, until Goku appeared
recovered and stronger than ever. A clash of Super-Powers occurred Goku
matching and damaging Frieza as much as Frieza damaged him. Then Frieza
revealed that he was only fighting at 1% of his true power!
So Frieza powered up to much more powerful state and began destroying Goku in
the battle, until Vegeta and a disturbing nightmare brought Goku to his feet
again, and with a brilliant idea. The Spirit Bomb! Goku began charging his
bomb, while Frieza having no clue what he was doing, apart from looking like
an idiot. Eventually Frieza had had enough and attacked Goku, Piccolo bought
him some time to get more power, and when Frieza eventually found out that a
huge ball of energy lay in the sky it was too late. Frieza threw a Death Ball
at the the bomb as it approached him, but the Spirit Bomb absorbed it. Frieza
was crushed into the earth by the Bomb's great power.
But it was not over...
Frieza was back and was back to kill that saiyan scum who had sent him to
hell by being hit with the awesome Spirit Bomb. Frieza's first task was to
kill Goku, Death Beam! and a small beam of energy travelled at high speed
toward the startelled Goku, but Piccolo was there to save the day, just as it
was about to get to Goku, Piccolo jumped in front of it and took the pain for
him.Frieza could only laugh at Goku's ever growing rage. With a outstretching
hand and his great power, Frieza picked up Goku's best friend, Krillin and
blew him to ashes. "KRILLIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Goku screamed, "You've taken it to
far Frieza, you must die, i cannot forgive you for what you have done!" And
with that a great transformation, 1000 years in the waiting appeared, Goku
transformed into a Super Saiyan! Frieza's worst nightmare's had been realised
Frieza had always feared the saiyan race for this reason, and now he would be
destroyed by his slave race. Goku had so much power that Frieza was almost
nothing to him anymore, he could toy with him all he liked. Until Frieza
powered up to his 100% Full Power and they were almost matched in every way.
Planet Namek had become unstable from the battle and it only had 5 minutes
till its destruction, Goku had to finish it and get out before then. Frieza
then demonstrated a Destructo Disk technique of his own. Two disks which
constantly followed Goku wherever he went, until Goku led the Disk's into
Frieza chopping him in half, silencing the monster for good. But Goku was
merciful and despite all of Frieza's evil deed's gave him some of his Ki to
get off Namek, but Frieza used the energy to fire off a final shot at Goku,
he easily overpowers it and with a "You Fool!!!" destroys
Frieza.
Months Later...
Frieza lay in pieces scattered throughout space, but his father, King Cold,
gathered him together and with Reconstructive Surgery, Frieza was back.
Frieza and King Cold travelled to Goku's home planet, Earth to destroy him
and the planet out of revenge. When they arrived they found no Goku and no
Z Warriors they knew they knew they were outmatched and Goku had never come
back to Earth after defeating Frieza. But a mysterious youth appeared
claiming to be a true super saiyan, Frieza, King Cold and their henchmen
greatly underestimate Frieza and with his awesome blade, Trunks, the
mysterious youth, destroys Frieza for good. Then he easily disposes of his
father, ending the reign of Frieza forever.

COMBAT STRATEGIES FOR FRIEZA
=============================================================================
-Spam
As with any other character just start the battle as you would normally maybe
pulling off a couple of combo's to get ki, and if in an area with points to
get out of view or knock opponent into a water area, do that and gather as
much ki as possible before they get out or find you, then:
A) if in survival battle keep spamming beam attacks or charged ki blasts
(rocks in Hercule's case)
B) if in defeat within time limit, with attack ???, or defeat with all your
might, just constantly hit with beam e.g Kamehameha, then they fall, Charge
Ki, Fire again, repeat until done.
C) Get familiar with throwing your opponent silly, because if you throw them
up it gives a lot of time to charge and waste time/run away (COWARD!).
-Constablock
Consta = Constant
Block = Block
Constantly hold down block, this works VERY well in "Survive until time runs
out" battles, and if you want throw in a couple of combo's or beam attacks if
you have the Ki.
-Others
These arent really strategies but are useful things that forms of Frieza have
"Long Awaited-For 100%" - Full Power Frieza / Mecha Frieza
This takes you straight to Max Power Mode, useful if u need/want to use 100%
Death Ball or just want to spam beams/ki blasts.
Charge Ki Blast - Mecha Frieza
Its a special blast that a few have which gives the opponent a quick shock
leaving them open to smash and beat to death ^_^ Also most of the forms of
Frieza have "Psychokinesis" which paralyzing the in-range enemy for a while,
long enough to fly away or charge ki or pull of a combo.
Also,this applies to any of the LARGE characters in the game, make good use
of your size as you have awesome strength and defence, combo's usually dont
even disturb you.
