I. Unlocking Gohan
=======================================================================
In order to unlock Gohan you must have previously unlocked Teen Gohan. To
unlock Teen Gohan, simply go through Kid Gohan's Dragon Universe. To unlock
Gohan, go through Teen Gohan's Dragon Universe. Afterwards, Gohan will be
a playable character in all modes of play.

II. Gohan's Biography (Prima's Official Dragon Ball Z Budokai 3 Guide)
=======================================================================
Named after his adoptive grandfather, Gohan is Goku and Chi-Chi's eldest son.
he is idealistic, good, and pure like his father. Gohan reveals his tremendous
fighting potential when the earth is threatened. His heritage as part Saiyan
and part human make him stronger than if he were of one race alone.
With Goku's departure to the next dimension and the eminent arrival of
Saiyans stronger than Raditz, Gohan is key to the survival of Earth. Thus
Piccolo, a former enemy of his father, joins forces with the good guys and
and trains Gohan for the upcoming battle. Over time, Gohan becomes friends with
Piccolo, looks up to Piccolo, and even wears similar clothing.
Although initially a wimp, Gohan's training in the wilderness and subsequent
fighting make him borth brave and loyal. Following the fight on Earth, Gohan
is determined to go with Bulma and Krillin to Namek to collect the seven
Namekian Dragon Balls and hellp out his friends on Earth, especially since he
feels he let them down during the fight on Earth.
In this particular form, he's reached adulthood following the events of the
Cell Saga and moving on into the World Tournament Saga.

III. Gohan's Transformations
=======================================================================
With each transformation, a character's attack power increases as well as
increasing the baseline Ki the character has.
Super Saiyan - +1 Baseline Ki - Obtained at the start of Gohan's Dragon
Universe.
Super Saiyan 2 - +2 Baseline Ki- Obtained by visiting "Goku's House" in Gohan's
Dragon Universe.
Elder Kai Unlock Ability - +3 Baseline Ki - Obtained via the story in Gohan's
Dragon Universe.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------

V. Gohan-specific Capsules
=======================================================================
Capsules are either obtained through the "Dragon Universe" mode, or through

items in the "Dragon Universe" mode, I recommend purchasing capsules at the
capsule shop.

Super Saiyan - Can transform into Super Saiyan
Super Saiyan 2 - Can transform into Super Saiyan 2

Ability Capsules:

This is the first FAQ I've ever created for GameFAQs, or for that matter, any
website. I've sumbitted, cheats, posted reviews, but this is indeed my first
FAQ. I hope to all that use this FAQ that they enjoy it and find it helpful.
I spent a lot of time making it, particuarly the damage ratios and specific
capsules. If you wish to use my guide your website, I ask that you please
contact me first. You don't even have to ask if you can, but please let me
know that you are. I would like to wish everyone a good day and hope that
they enjoy playing Dragon Ball Z Budokai 3. :)
I would like to thank the following people and/or groups:
Akira Toriyama - For creating one of the most popular anime franchises in
history by creating Dragon Ball. Even though "Dragon Ball" is over, it
still continues to have great popularity as well as a stellar
fanbase. Dragon Ball will always live on in our hearts.
Thank you, Akira Toriyama.
CJayC - For actually hosting my guide, and maintaining one of my favorite
websites around. I've been coming to GameFAQs for quite a while now.
At first I simply came for cheats, FAQs, guides, and things of that sort.
I eventually opened a message board account and have been a decently avid
poster since. There are some nice, cool people here, but there's a fair
share of idiots too. That's just the way life is, though, and I still love
this website.
Atari/Dimps - For making and releasing the best Dragon Ball Z game to date.
Since the first time I really started following the Dragon Ball
series in any incarnation, I wished for a game that could truly
capture the "feel" of the series. There has been a few good titles
released in the past, as well as a few rather horrid ones. As it
stands, though, I consider "Dragon Ball Z Budokai 3" the greatest
Dragon Ball game out there and I feel that it truly captures the
essecence of the series.
