Hello, and welcome to our Spheda Prize List In-Depth FAQ! First and foremost,
this is NOT, I repeat, NOT a guide on HOW to play Spheda. This is simply a
comprehensive list of all Spheda prizes (medal, secondary, and repeating) that
you can earn throughout the game.
This guide is organized in two different ways, so that you can more easily
find what it is you are looking for. Firstly, it is organized by dungeon.
The prizes are given in order from the first floor of the Underground Channel
to the last level before the final boss of the Zelmite Mine (who shall not be
named here). Due to the nature of Chapter 6, it has been covered within the
sections that detail each of the dungeons that you go back to.
Secondly, the guide is organized by type of prize. If you are looking for a
specific item, you can refer to our quick list and determine exactly where you
need to go to attain that item through Spheda. Now, while Spheda may not be
the QUICKEST way to gain items, it at least IS a guaranteed way to get the
item, since as far as we can tell Spheda Prizes do not change from game to
game. It is also free, and as a side benefit you can level up your weapons or
gain experience for the Ridepod as you make your way through the level so that
you can play Spheda in the first place. Finally, and perhaps the most drawing
reason to play Spheda for prizes, is that it is one of the few sources of
elemental stones in the game. You cannot buy or invent these stones -- they
are only available through chests, monster drops, or Spheda.
Throughout this guide we will refer to prizes as either medal prizes,
secondary prizes, or repeating prizes. This describes the time at which you
can gain a specific prize. The medal prize is the Spheda prize that you gain
when you earn the medal for that floor (i.e. the first time you win at Spheda
on that floor). The secondary prize is the prize you gain if you have won
Spheda on a floor exactly once before. Both the medal prize and the secondary
prize are one-time only. The last prize type, the repeating prize, is what
you win the third and every subsequent time you win Spheda on a given floor.
From that point on, it is always the same prize. Medal prizes are designated
with an (M) after their name, secondary prizes with an (S), and repeating
prizes are followed with an (R).
Thank you for reading our In-Depth FAQ, and good gaming all!
