2.1. What is DDR?
DDR is a dance simulation game. You move your feet to follow the
arrows on the screen using a dance mat.

4. Nonstop and Oni
4.1 Nonstop
4.1.1. What is Nonstop?
In Nonstop Mode you play 4 songs in a row without a pause in between. The
scoring system in Nonstop Mode is different. In every Nonstop Course the
maximum score is 100.000.000. You can get 10.000.000 for the first, 20.000.000
for the second, 30.000.000 for the third and 40.000.000 for the fourth song.

4.2.1. What is Oni?
In Oni Mode you play a number of songs and you have to do perfects and
greats. If you fail to do, you will lose on off the bars at the top and
after losing 4 it is game over. But after completing a song, you will
recover 2 bars.

5.1. What is Diet Mode?

6.1. What is Endless Mode?
In Endless Mode you continue playing until you lose a song. But be
careful the judging gets more and more difficult, so it gets more
and more difficult to keep going. After a given amount of stages,
there will be a break, so you can relax for a while. The game will
not continue without your pressing the button.

7.1. What is Training Mode?

8. Lesson Mode
8.1. What is Lesson Mode?
Lesson Mode teaches you the basics of the game. If you are new to
the game, try to play this mode. It really helps.
But beware: It teaches you to stay in the middle of the dancing
controller. If you get to much used to it, you will have difficulty
playing harder songs.

10.1. Unlocking Dancers
By playing with one dancer for one set (1-5 songs) you will unlock the dancer
next to it.
10.2. Unlocking Songs
You get a new song every 2 sets of songs.
Once you unlock a "new" song. You will have to play it as an extra stage. The
New Songs are:
Freedom (2sets), I Need You (8sets), Can Be Real (14sets), Stars (20sets) and
Paranoia -Respect- (26sets).

11. FAQ
Q: I can't get past the Memory Card Save Screen at the beginning. What am
I doing wrong?
A: It is a japanese game, so you have to press circle to confirm. The first
question is if you want to create a save file and the second is if you
want to auto-save.
Q: I'm in Event Mode and I want to save. How can I do that?
A: The game won't save, if you leave the game by pressing START+SELECT, but
if you hold X on the music select screen, the game will save and return
to the main menu.
Q: What is DWI or STEPMANIA?
A: DWI (Dance With Intensity) and STEPMANIA are DDR-simulators for the PC.
