1) Don't shoot big game animals until you have tags for them.
2) It's open season on bird's and small game! Shoot bird's ONLY!!!
with shotgun.
3) To get tags, look for Challenge Hunts Throughout the region,
Challenge Hunts are marked by animal skulls.
4) Hunter IQ goes up when a Challenge Hunt is completed, Each IQ
cost 100 points.
5) You'll need to raise your Hunter IQ to at least level 3 before you can
find the Legendary Animal.
6) Check your map for you objectives, the tracks you've found and
other vital info.
Upgrade Points: Are used to upgrade equipment.
Animals Routine Point 1 upgrade point usually found with lots of tracks in same
area. You have to be a level 3 before you can find them. You have find the
Legendary Animals tracks in a group of tracks where the animal was resting.
They are Orange On Map! Not all Animal Routine Points are active. When you
do find a place you might find the Legendary Animal. Finishing a Challenge
Hunt will award you 1 upgrade point.
(Hint: When the Legendary Animal first appears this is the area where you
will usually find him).
(Note: Total 90 upgrade points are needed to upgrade weapons throughout
the complete game).
(Cheat: Once you finish one area on region map collecting animal points
in that area you can leave and go to next finish it, then reenter one that
you already collected from, and continue to collect more upgrade points.
Till you feel you have enough or 30 points for first game).
Game Points:
The Game Points to raise IQ will stop collecting at level 5. You will still get
Hunting Points for the hunt.
+3 Trracks still glowing, which can be seen easier with Hunter Sense.
+10 Bird
+25 Small Game
+80 Big Game w/tag, (without tag you get a WARNING).
+100 For finishing Challenge. (If Challenge is not done correctly you have
find skull again and start it over.)

Head ENE from Larsen Bay Sign in middle of the map in front of a lean-to you
will see a skull.
Shoot 5 Hoary Marmots with your shotgun.

Shoot 15 White-Tailed Ptarmlgan with a shotgun in less than 3 minutes.
East of that in front of a building with stairs you will see a skull.

From the sign that reads Yellow Knife Cliffs turn around, walk forward a little
ways you will see a skull.
Shoot 12 American Woodcock with a shotgun in less than 3 minutes.

To the right of sign that reads Wapiti, you will find a skull.

The sign that reads Fox Gorge, turn your right walk NNE up a hill you will

Head east from the Blacktail Basin sign following path, to a shooting
range, you will see the skull.

Look for a lean-to in the south central area on map. In front of it you

As soon as you enter Timber Wolf Woods from Bison Ridge, you will
see the skull.
Hunt 1 Eastern Timber Wolf using your rifle.
Look for fallen tree blocking stream, behind tree on the north side you
will find a skull.
Shoot 10 Merriam's Turkeys with a shotgun in less than 3 minutes.
The Summit - 2 Challenges - 3 Animals Routine Points
The highest flat level behind rocks facing Timber Wolf sign you will
find a skull.
Hunt 2 Mountain Goats using a single rifle shot for each of them.
