(7/27/04) Updated to Final Version- Once again... format changes! But
this time I've done a major overhaul of the main list, and, in my honest
opinion, it looks MUCH better. The item names stand out now, and
generally everything just looks nicer and easier to read. Fare thee
well. This FAQ is done.
(11/21/03) Updated to Version 3.1- I made more changes in the format,
and I also switched my listed e-mail address over to my Comcast

2. Introduction
=======================================================================
Throughout Breath of Fire V: Dragon Quarter, you’ll find blue treasure
chests within all the different missions. These chests can contain
skills, equipment, or even Backpacks, which increase the capacity of
your item inventory. In order to open these chests, you’ll need a key.
You can obtain these treasure keys by defeating a particular enemy or
group of enemies. Once you kill the proper enemy/enemies, the key will
appear in a specific location, usually somewhere close to the enemy you
defeated. If you look on your map in the lower right corner of the
screen, a key icon will mark its location. Once you pick up the key,
you can open the treasure chest on that floor. You cannot use a key
from one floor to open a chest on another floor. Also, there is never
more than one treasure chest on each floor. If a certain floor is
divided into wings (e.g. north, south, east, west), then there will
only be one chest in each wing.

3. Treasure Chest List
=======================================================================
The list is arranged in basic chronological order. The best way to
utilize this list is to first find exactly what you’re looking for in
the summary section, and then find it on the main list. Whenever I
speak of a specific treasure key location, I am usually speaking in
reference to the chest’s location. Take note that all chests marked
with 3 asterisks (***) are located in a D-Ratio area. Also know that
even though there are multiple chests in the Centre, it is only
possible to access four of them without using SOL Restore. The chests
you can access depend on which path you take in the Centre. I’ve also
rated the items in terms of how useful they are, one star being least
useful and five stars being most useful.
