This FAQs content's all about forging and combining Weapons, Shield and Armors
in Workshop. Since my topic on is Vagrant Story is WorkShop let's start reforging.
I know its late for this FAQ's to produced, but also my observation about
the game, may be you forgot something some hard to find and good quality items.
I write this to help those who needed most for improving a better weapons, shields
and armors combining sometimes it takes time with patience you gained better result.

[02] WORK SHOPS: THE BLACKSMITH EDGE

Work Shop - area in the game in which you can either forged or reforged a weapon, shield
and armors. Each work shop consist of Container and a Magic Circle, but
have different tools for any varies of weapons, shield and armors.
- in other words instant customize upgrade shop for equipment's for weapons,
shields and armors as long as you had the right tools for the right elements.

Note: Miscellaneous max list refer to number of item types not how many miscellaneous
item you been carrying. Ex. You can carry 50 Cure Bulb it only occupied one type.
GADGET BAG - well it's a invisible bag actually since you can't see it on Ashley back
or side, but it can carry a lot of weapon specially a lot of metals.
CONTAINER - the magic chest or magic box, you can view its contents then you can
either Store, Remove or Discard the item inside it. The real weird is that
you can store Item on Wine Cellar then you can retrieve it anywhere as long
as it is a container, talking about high-tech all container are link just
like NETWORKING business. :) !!! Why don't Ashley went inside and teleport
anywhere he want to, may be it can only transfer item not a leaving being.

Equipment Setup Options: ·>-+------------------------------------------------+-<·

Assemble Weapon - assembling weapon needed 2 main parts: a blade and a grip, you can add
gems only depending on the grip you choose to attached in the blade.
Attached Gems - enables you to attached and remove gems from Weapons and Shield.
Disassemble Weapon - enables you to split weapon in two or more and on shield enables you
to detached or separate all the gems from the shield.
Rename - enables you to rename you weapon only.
Repair - repair all equipment's weapon, shield and armor.
Combine - enables you to combine according to Blades, Shield and Armors.
"Assemble Weapon," "Repair" and "Combine" are usable only on Work Shops
While "Attach Gems," "Disassemble Weapon" and "Rename" are available throughout the game.
Except during Tarnish status, since it decreased you equipment stats it forbid you to change
your equipment's. Why? Remember when you cast Prostasia when you change equipments like
Weapons, Shield, Armors or just replacing a gems it remove the effect of the Prostasia.
It's the complete opposite of Prostasia unlike other status abnormalities you can change.

What's the Tools for?
The tools are gadget or device you used for upgrading or degrading your equipment's.
It limits your capability of upgrading your weapon to its peak, even do you had all the
right equipment since you had no right tools for it or you are in the wrong Work Shop.
The Tools referred to the element of your weapon, shield and armor made of.
It categorized the quality of the weapons how strong or weak it was.
In new Clear Game its best you visit Work Shop: Godhands which is really
the ultimate Work Shop Godly indeed.

Combining sometimes takes time, you had to check its progress before combining any of it.
Combining involved material element and material types.
Material Elements - these are your blades, shields and armors are made of. See more below.
Material elements of your equipment's are made of:
Wood, Leather, Bronze, Iron, Hagane, Silver and Damascus.
Material Types - this refer to the type of Blades and Armors.
Blade Types: Dagger, Sword, Great Sword, Mace, Heavy Mace, Staff
Axe, Great Axe, Polearms & Crossbow
Armor Types: Head Gear, Body Armor, Hand Gear and Leg Gear.
Note: No Shield types since shield don't have other types at all.

Wood - lowest quality on shield, as it name wood are woods like firewood,
plywood or Woody? But not quite weak early on the first game only
as the game you would replace it better quality other than this.
Leather - lowest quality on armors, despite of any animal skin design leathers
are high on intelligence great defense against any magical attack.
If you can manage to combine Leather Dread Armor that's may be
the most powerful defense against any Magic caster enemies in the game.
Don't bother with this by doing so most monster are base on Physical
attack not to many spell caster.
Bronze - lowest quality in metal, come to think of it's better than
both leather and wood but still weak, the good thing about this
you can mixed this to other average metal to produced a better one.
Iron - a strong a it say like an Iron nail or a Flat Iron?
Iron are novice metal but not as low as Bronze are fragile than this.
Iron are sometimes great on Earth and Water.
Hagane - average metal more likely he neutral metal since a lot of metal
combination produced this. Hagane are great on Physical, Fire, Air
and sometimes Light and most Class stats are neutral.
Silver - another average metal not to mention its hard to get metal since a lot of
weapons, shields and armors are mostly related in Piercing defense and
offense, some had great stats on Light, Undead, Phantom and Beast.
Damascus - excellent element most powerful and hard to mixed,
most of its stats are great than the Silver, Hagane or Iron & etc.

By combining different material produced different metal quality here my cheap table
of combining some of the produced item sometimes you needed to interchange the item on
Item A to Item B and vice versa to get other certain elements.

Also here my recipe for getting Silver and Damascus it works but rare depending on the
Material Types and Element involve both to create this:
Iron + Hagane = Hagane [1] - must be Hagane not Iron or Bronze
Bronze + Hagane [1] = Silver [1] - must be Silver not Hagane or Bronze
Silver [1] + Hagane [1] = Damascus - if you are using different element from the
start you never get Damascus instead Hagane.
or Hagane + Bronze = Bronze [1] - must be Bronze to replace it, only if
Bronze is not working.
Also, if the Material type you combine is degrade it won't work it required to upgrade
to the next type or higher. But later in the game you would rather forget about this,
you would rather collect Hagane and Damascus materials than rather continue on experiment
on getting Damascus it work rarely about 75% but that how it happens in my save files.
But again combining the same type improved your weapons to but sometimes instead of
upgrade it degrade depending on the type you used. See more on Improved Combining below.

The combination tables below is not entirely complete since many combinations are possible.
If you did not discard some of you're weapons blades or armors considered yourself lucky,
it can be recycled to produced to some useful weapons blade or armors. Or you do the hard
way battling Beast, Phantom and etc., it takes 1 1/2 hours to get the item you want
I just write most of it so that you decide what to do about you're weapon blade and armors.
Legend: " * " indicate preferred combination for better results, others
combination will demoted your weapon or armor to lower or
older version on blades or armors.
" ? " indicate not totally accurate needed to verify which combinations.
"__" indicate no entry data in it yet to verify, some of my data list
on this section I lost it I place it somewhere I needed to new sets or
needed to find new item so that I could finished this section.
Also you can interchanged both First and Second blade doesn't meant that's in order at all.
Same also apply to the rest of the combinations below.

Most of these ideas somehow on the Quick Manual Menu at the game but some of them are not.
Before we discuss further let's discuss first on defense and stats.
HEAD GEAR - protection against head attacks, critical status: Silent
BODY ARMOR - protection against body attacks, critical status: Risk 200%
HAND GEAR - protection against arm attacks,
critical status: right hand - Attack 50% & left hand - Parry 50%
LEG GEAR - protection against leg attacks, critical status: Move 50%
ACCESSORIES - both used against offense and defense the effect depending the
accessories you used.
Critical status effect during your body parts reached Dying status (red color).
Also your armors also losses DP which is weaken the effectiveness of the armor,
which is also lower your stats to 50% STR, INT, AGL and offense & defense.

Other Consisting Status of Weapon and Armor:
DP - DAMAGE POINT - more likely your equipment's Durability Points the wear
and tear of both weapon and armor. A max stats on DP on weapon
increases critical hit rate to 80% and max stats on your armor
increases enemy to miss it's attack about 80%.
Note: the higher DP of your Armor and Weapons increases you probability on gaining
Bonus Point to your weapon and armor.
PP - PHANTOM POINTS - accumulated points every time Ashley attack with his weapon
but these can be increased to by Instill battle abilities.
The higher the PP on your weapon the more critical hit rate
damage it effects on target. Phantom Points also can be used
during chaining to increased its damage for once only then you have
to gather enough of it to used it again.
RISK - is something new in the game since it effect both offense and defense.
On offense it decreases you hit rate and damage depending on the
current Risk status, then on defense if your Risk is high Ashley
mostly vulnerable to any of attack specially magic spells.
But this can be prevented by drinking Vera stuff, also by using
low risk weapon and avoiding to chain too much combo.

Damage System:
==================
Through understanding and knowing the damage system can do it may improve your
offense and defense in the game. More likely getting to know more a friend from a foe?
More likely it involved 3 different classification Class, Affinity and Type.
1. During attacking and damaging it priorities most Class, Affinity and Type.
2. Then on defense from the attack it priorities from Type, Class and Affinity.
3. Also for spell caster or against it priorities from Affinity, Class and Type.
Knowing this will gave you some idea both defense and offense in the game works.
But also here some of explanations about them:
CLASS - specified depending on monster class.
These are Human, Beast, Undead, Phantom, Dragon and Evil.

AFFINITY - according to any elemental or affinity attributes (elemental attack/defense).
These are Air, Fire, Earth, Water, Light and Dark. Physical is also in
the affinity list but had no elemental/affinity attributes,
means neutral more likely is useful in any against strong affinity defense.
For Weapon Blade best to used opposite affinity against that monster strong against.
Opposite Affinity/Elemental:
Air <==> Earth Physical is neutral no opposite.
Fire <==> Water
Light <==> Dark
For Armors best to fight fire against fire, water to water and etc.
To lower the damage against any affinity/elemental attack from enemies spell.
TYPE - mostly damage by weapon grips. These are Blunt, Edged and Piercing.
Blunt - damage taken from any flat or dull weapon or attack.
Edged - damage taken from sharp edged/blade of sword/axe.
Piercing - damage taken from penetrating/puncturing attack against
any spike/pointed thrust attack.

Here is my idea and observation about the game to improved equipments weapons, shield
and armors. You can never mind some of this, but this how it work mostly in the game.
First, weapon blade is compose Class and Affinity & Type are depending on the grip used.
While on armor is compose of Class, Affinity and Type remember .
You can improved your equipments in to ways by Bonus Points and Combining & Forging.

BONUS POINTS
==============
BONUS POINTS - points gained in the battle or during the battle it can be either on
Affinity or Class in weapon, shield and armor thru battle against monster.
- accumulated points gained in the battle or during the battle to
improved or increased your weapon and armor Class and Affinity.
Note: When you weapon losses its DP to 0, your chances of gaining Bonus Point
is decreased 50% less better combo with Temper abilities to keep it in
good conditions to earn a lot of Bonus point.
Bonus point rule:
On Affinity - each time Affinity gained bonus, the sometimes opposite of that
affinity decreases, but not too often.
Opposite Affinity/Elemental:
Air <==> Earth Sometimes gaining Physical bonus points
Fire <==> Water decreased 1-5 Affinity points in random
Light <==> Dark in exchange for Physical Bonus Points
on weapon only, but in armors when you
gained Affinity Bonus on armors sometimes
decreased on Physical and Affinity.
On Class - each time Class gained bonus, 1 or 2 other next below it decreased
point, it effects similarly to Affinity sometimes, but not often.
But mostly you gained Bonus Point without decreased on other Class.

BLADE BONUS POINTS - can be gained sometimes per attack not per chain of attack,
means you had to press attack again and again not doing any combo to
gain enough bonus points per attack.
By doing so your weapon is getting powerful against the monster you fight.
SHIELD AND ARMORS BONUS POINTS - on class can be gained by receiving a physical attack
from enemies, which means if you try to improve your defense you had
to take a hit from enemies to receive but more likely it's rare to receive
bonus points since your weapon is strong enough to kill them easily.
And receiving Affinity bonus is quite a rare phenomenon also, it can be
gained both in Physical and Magical. Physical by receiving enemy attacks
and on Magical receive enemy magic attack which is not a very good idea
or you can either cast magic on yourself like Heal sometimes gained Light
Affinity, but that's not it stop by using ENCHANTER spell on you self
also sometimes gained bonus depending on what spell you used.

You can train you weapon on either Dummy or a real Monster:

You can get Elixir depending on the number of "Excellent and Well Time" you received
during chaining. Other are base on Good, Right On, Nice, Perfect, Great, and Cool you
receive that's how to pinpoint the Item you receive on that Dummy.
By receiving a lot of Too Slow/Fast, Slow/Fast & Miss
you win any Root items or rare Acolyte's Nostrum.
By receiving a lot of Nice, Good & Cool you win any Bulb & Root items or Alchemist's Reagent.
By receiving also Right On, Perfect & Great you win any Potion, Tonic items Saint's Nostrum.
Somehow I still can't determine how to get Sorcerer's Reagent on the dummies.
But most dummy always gave Bulb Items or Root.

Note: that this also applies to the monster you encounter but the highest you can get is

Any Dragons in Time attack sometimes Elixir of Dragoons or Queens.

If you planning to make a powerful weapon remember that CLASS is priorities most during
attack, then Affinity and last Type. Now your first priorities is to gained enough
bonus point on that class of a monster to defeat him or her easily.
Ex. You having trouble defeating the Dark Crusade in Iron Maiden B2. Dark Crusader class
is Evil, you have to go to Gharmes Walk and try attacking the Dummy: Gremlin which is Evil
in Class. Through attacking it your weapon gained bonus point on Evil Class which good
improvement to your weapon against Evil Classes like Dark Crusader.
Or you can go to Undercity East kill as many Shrieker which is easy to kill Evil class.
Improving Weapons Affinity can be gained mostly by fighting against Phantoms class:

Improved Combining Guide:

Through these section it may improve 50% up you weapons, shields and armors stats.
To get the best output of combine equipments. Here are the tips and guides:
The best combining without Material Elements without Damascus are:
I+H=H1 + S = D1 or H+H=H2 , S+S= S2, S2 + H2 = D2
1. Used the same metal element you used from the start if possible.
Ex. I+H = H2 you had to keep on the same element in order for that
B+H2 = S to increased it stats otherwise it will decreased 60% more.
H+H = H
S+S = S If you are using two material element keep on using two elements.
Or 3 material element combination keep on using 3 material elements.
[S] Barbut + [H] Sallet = [H] Basinet 1 <<- ex. of 2 dif. material element
[I] Barbut + [H] Basinet 1 = [H] Armet <<- ex. of 3 dif. material element continue
mixing from 2 dif. material element.
2. Avoid using new metal element to add in your final output.
It work the same on the first one but only refer it on last combination.
Other words it will decreased since you used another material element,
compatibility and stability of status will decreased the most.</pre><pre id="faqspan-4">
Ex. I+H= H2 S2+D= H adding new element degrade its stats(last comb.)
H2+S=S2 Final output after combining it with the same type 3-5 times
then you combine it again with a new type.
3. Check weapons, shields and armors quality before combining.
4. Remember that during combing your equip gained 40-60% (same metal elements)
or loosing (mixed elements) 40-60% to stats.
5. The highest Affinity and Class remain stable after combine but sometimes increased.
also the lowest stay the same.
6. Remember to balance most of your armor or weapon Class, Affinity and Type.
Sometimes if you focus your combining on Class, sometimes while Affinity and Type
are low, or Affinity to high while Class and Type are low.
7. Last prioritize TYPE most during combining on armors/shields since you can only
improve it during combining not in battle against any monster. Also it increased your
armor capabilities on receiving Bonus Point after the attack or during the attack.

Breaking the Rules of Weapon:
===============================
Remember above why did I add Mixed Blades its purpose now I explained, thru mixing with
other blades will produced different types of blades by doing so the normal blade is
change into another type of blade type.
Other words you can make a Blunt weapon into Edged, or a Blunt Weapon into Piercing.
Why? Crescent is an Edged Weapon come to think that it powerful than the Sage's Cane
Staff since staff are Blunt weapons if Sage's Cane is Edged it don't have enough of STR
to can rival the Crescent only that Sage's Cane had higher AGL & INT which is better.
Since you transform it into Edged the damage increased than normal Staff which is Blunt.
But Crescent not had enough AGL & INT for offense and defense. Also your magic hit rate
are low if you are using Crescent but Sage's Cane Staff is good in both stat.
Or you can make the Destroyer which is Blunt into an Edged which increased its damage.
Will rival the Great Axe Halberd which is also a powerful weapon also.
So far many didn't get this to work, the funniest part of this you can make a Cross Bow
into Edge which is not very useful since no grip on crossbow that high edged stas.
But somebody also tells me that it works, but a lot of negative comments on this side too.
Somehow this was supposed to be a glitch on the game in which you screw up its damage
TYPE by continuous combining of different blades by overlapping another then another.
The result depending in the number of what blades TYPE you combined the most the
combined blades can only be determine that it works when you assemble the weapon.

But sometimes both Piercing and Edged exist depending on the blades you mixed to combined.
It's up to you how if you try this or not, but more likely it improve your weapons stats
damage or if you are a PHANTOM PAIN fan you can convert you weapon into Piercing which
it will increased damage than the normal damage with the Phantom Points Bonus damage.
Phantom Pain is Piercing in attack.

They are mostly Affinity base monster class Air, Fire, Earth, Water and Dark.
But all of them are tough, they can make fun of you if you underestimated
their Class. But they're down side is a little help of Enchanter Spell well do,
to defeat them easily along with the attachment of Affinity gems.
DRAGON - Strong: Dark, Arch, Snow, Earth, Flame & Sky Dragon, Wyvern Knight & Queen
Weak : Lizardman, Blood Lizard, Wyvern and Dragon
They're also tough but not as powerful as Asura. Only real dragons are really
tough in the game but Lizard and Blood Lizards mostly are weak but not to many
of them in the game like the Phantoms class.
EVIL - Strong: Guildernstern, Death, Last Crusader, Damascus Golem, Nightstalker & etc.
Weak : Imp, Quicksilver, Shadow, Gargoyle, Shrieker, Lich & etc.
The class itself gave you an idea of what they are EVIL,
the final boss is also EVIL. Evil is one of most formidable class in the game.
In general both HUMAN and EVIL in the game are hard to defeat they had brain actually,
but DRAGONS can be defeated easily with the help of Enchanter spell same also to BEAST,
UNDEAD, and PHANTOM.
My suggestion in training weapons is to increased most the 3 class HUMAN, DRAGON and EVIL.
But all in all the decision still your just my suggestion.
By doing so to your weapon also your armor and shield gained a title for the accumulated
bonus point stats to your equipments AFFINITY and CLASS. It determines how good or effective
your equipment against that monster class or foe, the higher stats in both
AFFINITY and CLASS stats of your equipment how your equipment base its title.

Some other stats can be improve by attaching gems on the weapons and shields to
reach a certain stats of your shield and weapons, but in your armors you had to combine
it many times to achived the greater stats.

then Item C x20%= C1, then minus the answer to C-C1 to get the Answer/Final Stats.

remember that both highest and lowest remain stable after the combine.
if in certain case that they tie up to different stats it remain stable.
(#) - are equipments stat that they are tie in from first item and second item
be be come as the tie stat and deduct 20 percent on it.
The combination above is normal but if you combine in complicated combine or mixed other
Material Types the deduction is 60% on Affinity and Class and 40% on Type.
But combining it to Damascus the deduction somehow raise to 60-80% in Affinity and Class
then 40-60% on Type. Still more to add on next update.

[07] BATTLE ABILITIES AND BREAK ARTS SKILLS

Last but not the least, both Battle Abilities and Break Arts New Skills can be gained
according to the any number of monster class that Ashley kill to gained point's.
Both also gained the same point for one monster.
Ex. You kill 2 bats both next ##### pts. of Battle Abilities and Break Arts gained 2 points.
each gained 2 points deduction the current next point stats.

Only the current weapon Ashley used only gained "pts"/"Points" other weapons that's not
being used didn't gained any points.
NEXT - is Experience Point counter that count every monster you kill that converted
into points to gained new skill to either Battle Abilities or Break Arts.
From highest to lowest then restart again from higher to lower.
BATTLE ABILITIES - are skill that Ashley long forgotten that keep on returning to his
memory according to number of monster he killed. These are Ashley general skill
which he can used to defense or attacked foe with style.
Both Chaining and Defense Abilities contain 14 abilities each. Also 3 default abilities
on Chaining - Heavy Shot, Gain Life and Temper and on Defense - Reflect Damage, Ward
and Impact Guard. And you to gained thru battle the remaining 22 abilities
Here also points guide for each time Ashley learn a new Battle abilities:

Also you can choose only once for either Chaining Abilities or Defense Abilities for
each level up then it's up to you which the one you choose, advice choose first what
you think is useful for expansion of both your defense and offense.
CHAINING ABILITIES - are skill Ashley used to combo his attack you can chain it as many
times as you want, as long a you don't used the same attack twice in a row.
The advantage of Chaining Abilities is that he can used it to any kind of weapon
that unlike to Break Arts it focus its skill according to the weapon types.
DEFENSE ABILITIES - Ashley skill used for defensive use only during receiving enemy attacks
each Defense Abilities had its own different specialized defense against enemy
powerful attack.
Even do Chaining Abilities are powerful in some occasions during in the middle of your
combo specially Crimson Pain, Raging Ache and Gain Life, if you keep on using Raging Ache
and Crimson Pain. It is possible to combo without life remaining at all, as long as you can
keep on chaining your attack as long you can remember that you last attack must be Gain Life.
so that you won't end up killing yourself. I already done this so you can never mind how
high your Risk during combo keep the rhythm and try to recover lost HP on the last blow.
For first timer you end up killing yourself but later as you get used to it its easy.
I don't advise this very well since not to many tough enemies with higher HP to try this so,
you can try this on Time Attack Battle against ASURA you can kill her on no time with this
her defense is high enough for this type of combo real monster killer. Just to make sure
to recover your lost HP and check your RISK try to decreased it so that you can defense
for counter attack her if she still alive. ASURA HP was near 600-800+ it up to you to
decide and count the damage to avoid killing yourself.

Break Arts - the art of swordsmanship attack much like Limit Break in functioned to damage
enemies in exchanged for HP. Increase weapon capabilities in different
behavior functions, Animation, and etc. Killing enemy with style! :)
- in exchange for greater damage Ashley losses HP according to the Break Arts
he uses also according to what type of a weapon Sword Break Arts, Crossbow
Break Arts and etc., on gaining powerful Break Arts you have to gained
enough points to achieve a new Break Arts and each weapon has 4 of it.
Meaning you have to kill as many monsters like goblin, bat and etc.
Then to earn points earning a lot of it to receive new Break Arts.
Level: HP: Range: Attack Type:
1 25 Long Range projectile attacks (like fireball or sonic boom? ex.)
2 40 Mid Range attack with status abnormalities
3 55 Mid Range attack increased 1.5 to 2 times damage
4 75 Short Range weapon final specialty attack (mostly Affinity based attack)
Break Arts can never be chained since some are powerful to compensate for the lost
of combo never forget that each Chaining and Defense Abilities contained RISK different
for each abilities. But Break Arts is a Risk free only depending on the weapon you used
only Ashley have to suffer lost HP by doing so still it can be recover by using Cure items
or Chaining Battle skill Gain Life or by using HEAL spells that's enough to recover loss
HP in many ways. Also if you don't have enough HP Break Arts are unable to used that
remaining HP since it will kill Ashley by doing so.
I can't explain more since I'm way out of my topic boundary. I just added for the reason
that you can tune up your weapon depending on the Break Arts damage TYPES.

Here also some tips to make item gaining more effective increased 50%:

Tips for Easy Gaining Items:
------------------------------
1. The high number of killed monster type in you Gazettes increased you probability
on getting an item like 2000 Evils or 500 Phantoms since Evil is higher than Phantom
expect 75-90% that you receive an item on that Evil monster type.
2. Check you combo rating for 2 "Well Time or Excellent" in a row 80-90 it dropped an item.
3. Avoid staying too long in that area not more than 2 hour or less keep on moving in
different places.
4. Check the area first what mostly equipped by the Undead, Human or Evil.
5. Damage 2-3 enemy parts below Average stat if possible. Keep on attacking different
parts if you miss your attack during combo, then keep on changing target parts.
6. Keep on changing weapon if possible, sometimes depending on monster they drop item
often if you used the right weapon against them.
7. Always check you weapon DP if its down repair it on shop or used Temper abilities to
regain it loss DP. It will improve you critical hit rate in a single attack.
8. Also if you attack then on second attack you used Temper, Gain Magic, Gain Life
and any abnormalities attack on the second attack that kill the monster also increase
your posibilities on getting an item after attack.
9. If you trying to get a Accessories try hitting them on the right place.

ARM - Armlet, Bracelet, Choker, Claws, Nails
BODY - Choker, Brooch
The reason why I divided on 4 levels, they usually comes in group depending on the area.
For example on Level 2 Armor in the area in Town Center South most of the Crimson Blades
equipped mostly items on level 2 in random way or Level 3 Armor in the area in Iron Maiden
B1 which is usually comes into group in that area.
Equipment Level is different than this it rate you armor like Brave or Knight depending
on the stats of your armor. In general if you seen a Level 2 armor then expect to see more
of it on that place. Except for the level 1 which you expect that mostly equipping it are
Magic user like Zombie Mage, Lich and Lich Lord and some Undead andd Goblins.
You can nevermind this section if you wan't too, I'm started to get out of my topic now
but I further explain and most of it below.

To tell the truth the whole weapons are powerful depending on the user it self if he or she
continue using and improving the his or her skill on that weapon.
Weapon damage status consist of only CLASS and AFFINITY, TYPE can be set depending on Grips.
Also blade consist of DP - Damage Point and PP Phantom Point. (more DP & PP below)
Note: Wield: One handed can carry shield in its left arms, also means the weapon not
to heavy for Ashley to carry. Two handed not all are heavy some are needed to hand
for accurate precession on hitting its target, but some are needed two hand has
to carry a real heavy weapon.
DAGGER <+->>>
Range: 1 to 2 Speed: normal to fast Type/Grip: Edged & Piercing
Risk : 1-2 Wield: one handed
- despite the lack of range dagger is as powerful as great sword in comes
to Break Arts skills, also to compensate for the lose of range.

- well sword are sword your first weapon when the game start,
also suitable to used in any forms of combat throughout the game.

Risk : 1-3 Wield: two handed
- the true great of this sword is its range and power despite the lose
of shield it can even hit the enemy at it's toe even do his to far.
Also try it's Swallow Slash one of the most useful Break Art skill
in the game, a true great swords indeed.
AXES & MACE [·]+--<<·>>
Range: 3 to 4 Speed: normal to fast Type/Grip: Edged & Blunt
Risk : 1-2 Wield: one handed
- easy to handle, easy to adopt weapon in the game mostly high hit rate
on critical attacks, are best against magic caster enemies.
Try using it's Break Arts Killer Mantis it also damage enemies
and drain some of its MP depending on the damage it dealt to the enemies.
GREAT AXE <>-+--<<<·>>>
Range: 4 to 5 Speed: normal to fast Type/Grip: Edged & Blunt
Risk : 1-3 Wield: two handed
- another Great weapon easy to combo weapon, easy to attack
by swinging left and right in it's chaining combo.

- the weapon of judgement against Evil Golem & The Great Beast Crab,
it can squash them to there misery, not very good long on chaining but
very useful in single attack a good first strike critical attack.

Range: 2 to 2 Speed: fast to fastest Type/Grip: Blunt
Risk : 2 Wield: one handed
- weapon of a mage if you are a good combo this one of the fastest weapon
in the game with the combine of increased in INT - intelligence
to increased the effectiveness of magic spells damage and hit rate.
POLE ARMS <>-+--···+>>>
Range: 6 to 7 Speed: fast to normal Type/Grip: Blunt, Piercing & Edged
Risk : 2-3 Wield: two handed
- the second to the long range weapon in the game, for first used its
hard to control, but it's powerful attack mostly on first strike thrust
then the rest is accumulated attack from weak increased to high attack.
More likely is preferred to used Phantom Pain combo in these weapon,
since it high on Piercing attacks since Phantom Pain is also Piercing.
CROSS BOWS >>------>>>
Range: 9 to 12 Speed: fast to slow Type/Grip: Piercing & Blunt
Risk : 2-4 Wield: two handed
- I don't recommended to use this early in the game due to it's risk also
your defense is low, but thanks to it's range you can shot and kill
enemies in distant before they get close enough for you. Good against
those flying monster like, Bat, Gargoyle and etc.
Not very good against heavy defense monster either and not very good
against spell caster monster there's a tendency that they can counter
you with a powerful spell.

- best defense weapon and offense, defense on cutting down the damage
into 40-60% less and on offense can be used as a weapon during
unarmed or bare hands attacks which he uses it to slap it against enemies.
