1. Introduction
-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-

Welcome to my first Spyro the Dragon FAQ, hopefully one of two if the other one
goes well enough.  In this FAQ I will show you the locations of the elusive
Dragon Eggs.  The reason I felt a separate FAQ was needed was due to the elusive
nature of them.  Some of the eggs are in remote locations while others require
a lot of strategy to nab.  So, I will list the locations of all 12 eggs and
assist you in their retrieval.

2. Version History

September 29-30, 2005
Version 0.50
---------------------

I managed to list the first half of the eggs during this period, and started
writing them into this FAQ.

October 1, 2005
Version 1.00
---------------

All 12 eggs are accounted for, going to clean up this FAQ up and send it in for
submission

3. Explanation
-_-_-_-_-_-_-_

The eggs are being held by these enemies dress in blue turbans and robes.  You
can tell one is near by their "Nah, Nah, Na-Na-Nah" cry.  If you hear that,
start looking because they aren't far.  When you go to approach them, they
will turn tail and run.  Charge them with Spyro and when they are within
range: flame them.  The egg will then drop and Spyro will proceed to pick it
up.  There are 12 eggs and all can be found in the first half of the game.

4.1. Stone Hill
=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=

Egg 1
-----

When you first arrive, head into the cave on the right and process through
until you reach a second grass area.  Go into the tower ahead and ride the
air current up to the top.  Then face the direction of the cave you entered
in from.  Glide to the grassy top above the cave entrance.  Chase the Egg Guy
down to retrieve your first egg.

4.2. Town Square
=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*

Egg 2
-----

From where you found the Alvar dragon, turn around and face the way you
came.  There is an elevated ledge on the right side.  Jump onto it and glide
out over the steps you took up in the first case.  Hug the right wall hard
and you'll reach a grassy ledge around the corner.  You will then see the
egg guy up here: chase him down.

4.3. Peace Keepers Home

Egg 3
-----

Beside the gate to Doctor Shemp is a cannon, point it at the rock with the red
target on it and flame the cannon.  The resulting cannonball will reveal a
platform where the rock once was.  Go to it and glide over to the desert area
in the distance (over the gap).  An alcove here has the third egg guy.

4.4. Cliff Town
=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=

Egg 4
-----

Once you head over the bridge into the second part of town, the egg guy will
be seen by the dragon Halvor.  Just chase him down.

=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=
4.5. Dry Canyon
=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=

Egg 5
-----

Go ahead from start, there's a narrow path on the left side beside a purple
goop ditch.  Go in to find the Blue Egg Guy hiding in an alcove.

=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*
4.6. Magic Crafters Home
=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*

Egg 6
-----

Go inside the blue tunnel ahead from where the Ballonist lets you off. Proceed
down and you'll  see this blue guy waiting for you at a junction.  Quickly
charge and cut corners to be able to flame him right away.  If you don't get
him now, he'll jump up to a ledge making him unreachable.  If that happens,
you'll have to backtrack to that junction.  Face away from where he spawns to
make him re-spawn

Egg 7
-----

After heading through the tunnel with the first blue egg guy and past the
chamber you'll be outside again.  At the very top level of this particular
section, up the ramps, is the second blue egg guy.

4.7. High Caves
=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=

Egg 8
-----

When you go to supercharge the gap, take a hard right as you get airborne and
aim for the grassy field in the distance.  The blue egg guy is on this field
at the top of the ramp.

Egg 9
-----

Past the cave with the supercharge ramp is a bridge leading to another chamber.
Go to the mid section of this bridge and face right.  You'll see two ledges
leading into respective chambers.  Glide to the nearest one, then glide to the
second one to find the blue egg guy inside.

=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*
4.8. Wizard Peak
=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*

Egg 10
------

When you get to the second supercharge ramp, go down and then up the ramp
directly ahead.  At the top, quickly jump to glide to the island ahead.  You
should have enough momentum coming off the supercharge ramp.  Behind the wall
here is the Egg Guy.  Carefully work your way behind there, be careful not to
fall, and flame him.

Egg 11
------

He is around the pool in the same area as Lucas dragon and the Return Home
Pad.  Just jump across the pool itself and flame him to get this Egg.

=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=
4.9. Alpine Ridge
=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=

Egg 12
------

When you get to the Return Home pad, face out into the big open area that you
are currently in.  You'll see a series of individual ledges with firework
boxes on them.  To the right of those is a cave entrance, glide there.  You'll
find the final egg thief in here.  Just chase him down and flame him to
retrive this final egg.
