Shin Seiki Evangelion Tenku no girlfriend has been released for some
platforms: PSX, Sega Saturn and PC. Gainax, who programmed the whole game,
liked to make an Evangelion game for some platforms (First Impression and
Second Impression only appeared for Saturn), and that game was the most long
Evangelion game, and the one who has the most interesting storyline. The
Impression games were good games (Second Impression was really good), but this
is funnier than them, and the situations are better. Tenku no girlfriend don't
have any videos, the music is recorded in midi, and all happens in static
windows, with the voice and dialogs of the characters (all in whole japanese).
The game was rather difficult for an occidental player, 'cause all the actions
you need to do, all locations and everything is in japanese. At this guide, I
like to put all the locations that you need to reach, and the storyline that
the game makes. I don't know the exact dialogs of the game, and the whole
translation of the game too, I'm no japanese reader, so I probably have some
fail with the translation, but if you know something that I don't know, please

-------------------------ARGUMENT OF TENKU NO GIRLFRIEND----------------------
Tenku no girlfriend takes place just in the middle of Evangelion, a side story
with a new character, the girl Mana, who starts to study in Shinji's institute,
and she starts to be friend of Ikari...
The argument is so good if you like Evangelion, and the story of Evangelion
isn't changed. Well, let's go to the walkthrough...
-----------------------------------WALKTHROUGH--------------------------------
The game starts with Asuka looking the city by the window of Misato's house,
'cause a big robot is in the city. Shinji looks her, and she gives him a
great kick...
Next morning, Shinji Asuka and Rei are coming to school, with Shinji taking
care of all three school bags (Shinji really has bad luck).
In class, Kensuke will start talking with you, just in the main entrance of
the school. Now you can start moving around school, using the option MOVE.

Enter the passage with the first option: you'll be at class, There, your
teacher will introduce a new school girl to the class. Her name is Mana, and
she sits just behind Shinji. After class time, Mana will talk with Shinji, and
Asuka will be so angry for that... Mana and Shinji will go to the terrace roof
and she will give a drop earring, just for show him her friendship. Asuka will
interrupt them another time.
At the train, going home, Asuka will break Shinji's walkman, and Mana will
appear at the train. When you arrive at the Geo Front, Mana asks you to enter
into Nerv with you. Of course, you'll be pleased to enter with her. Now, you're
at Nerv, the biggest map in this game. Here are explained all the places:

You need to do a synchronization test with your EVA, so go to the dressing
room, at zone L2. Your synchro test will be horrible, 'cause your always
thinking in Mana
In home, Asuka will be so sweet with you, and now you have a selection: if
you push the first option, Asuka will give you a new walkman. Misato will
arrive with Kaji.
The next day, you will meet Kaji and Misato buying when you're walking with
Mana. Shinji will introduce Mana to their friends. Later, at Nerv, you need
to go to the fridge's room. There, you will talk with Kaji about Mana, during
Kaji's coffee.
Next day, at cooking class, you will work with Mana, and Touji will do some
jokes about you two. 'cause of that, Asuka will start to shout.
Go to sports playground (last option of movement at the passage). There you
will tlak with Mana about the EVA's. Kensuke will come, and talk with you
a little.
Next day, at the passageway of the school, you will talk with Touji. He says
that Mana is waiting for you at the library. Go there, Mana will show you
beautiful places that she will enjoy going with you. Rei will appear, because
they need to investigate a strange case of a robot. There's some strange
footmarks of a robot. Mana is at the place, so strange...
At night, Misato will encourage you to visit Mana. She will leave you at the
street that she lives. You'll see Mana talking with a boy at a bar. So
disillusioned, you will not enter the bar, but you meet Kaji and Ritsuko. They
take Shinji to a bar, and tell him to invite to go out Mana. Decide about the
three places that she was talking with you last morning.
At home, Shinji will telephone Mana, and they will go out tomorrow. When you'll
be at bed, you'll need to decide about two ideas...
Shinji and Mana will enjoy a perfect day in their first date. Pen Pen will do
the comic point. The CD will finish with Shinji and Mana so happy...

Asuka will discover a giant robot. That robot is from another organization,
that will like to obtain the money destined to Nerv.
Your father will call you, and you need to go back to Nerv. There, Maya will
say to you that Ritsuko is looking for you. She is waiting at their room. Take
the elevator V1, go to zone L3, and to the passage G4. When you'll go back,
hyuga will tell you that Asuka is waiting you. Go to the zone L4, and to the
place where the EVA 02 is. Asuka knows that Mana is a good friend of a boy
that was at the robot's place, and she knows that the boy is at Nerv's
hospital. Asuka and you will go there:

Go to ICU's room. You'll see that the boy is helped by Ritsuko. When you're
there, Mana will enter with some flowers for his friend. When you leave the
ICU's room, Mana will tell her that she is very good friend of the boy. Push
the command THINK, and select an option. Go to to the exterior of the hospital
and when Shinji is starting to think bad about Mana, the incredible and great
Ryoji Kaji will appear, and encourage you to continue, 'cause Mana is a very
good girl, and her feelings are good.
Next day: EVA 00 is...fishing!!!! Misato tells Shinji that she needs to tell
his father about Mana. Asuka is not right with Mana, the only one that is
encouraging Shinji about Mana is Misato, excepting Ryoji Kaji.
Mana hasn't come to school, and at the dinning time, Misato will come to your
school, to give you back Mana's drop earring. At last, Misato encourages
Shinji to invite Mana to go to soup with them at Misato's house.
Shinji will telephone Mana another time, and she will be so pleased to soup
with them. The night will be magical for both children.
Next morning, Mana hasn't come to school, another time. At night, the giant
robot appears, and Gendou tells Shinji to stop it with EVA 01, but before EVA
01 is launched, the robot will disappear.
At the school the next day, Mana will only appear to talk with you. She likes
you to go with her for visit that boy. Asuka and Rei will join you. At the
hospital, the children discover that the boy has disappeared, and a black
dressed men will appear, to capture Mana. Asuka telephone Misato, for bring
them out of the hospital. The children will hide at the toilets. Later, they
will be dressed of cleaning workers. The black dressed men discover them, but
a fast reaction of Misato with the car dodge them.
Now, Mana will tell you all the truth: she and that boy are members of another
organization, and they pilot their robots. Their organization likes the money
of the government destined to Nerv to combat the angels. After a last
automatic scene, you'll see that Gendou will give Mana to the military.
Next day at Nerv, you will take Shinji control another time. You need to go
and talk with your father, at command's room (take the elevator to the zone
L3).
Misato will tell you that Kaji likes to talk with you. He is waiting for you
at the garden, sector C2. Kaji will give you some dates for looking Mana, and
the house where she lived this time.
With Touji, Hikari, Asuka and Kensuke you will discover Mana's house, and some
robot footmarks.
Next day at school, you'll see how the ONU will take Mana away in a military
wheeler. You, with Touji and Kensuke will plain to go and see Mana.
All the rest of the game is the ending, now you don't have the control of
Shinji. The scene is so cool, and it takes a lot of time. At the end, you can
watch one of the endings, 'cause the game has three endings. In order of all
the decisions that you took, you'll obtain an ending or another. All the
endings are good: in the worst, Shinji will see Mana's going with his friend,
but Asuka will encourage him. The second ending is the best, with Mana living
in Misato's house for some days, and there's another ending, with a last
encounter of Shinji and Mana. Well, the three endings connect perfectly with
the story of Evangelion.
