Introduction
This is one of my favorite games ever.
It has great graphics,sound, and it has 7 great places to fish that all look real.
It doesn't have too much loading time like other fishing games. It has great challenge
and even great replay value,and it's only $20.00 at most stores!
The only thing that i don't like about it is that it isn't compatible with any special
fishing controllers. : ( Oh well.
In this FAQ, i'll show you how to beat the game and catch all record sized fish, a mini
walkthrough of the fish tanks,and tell you the tackle you should use to catch the
biggest fish possible!

Stages
Aqua Room- This isn't really a stage,but it acts as a gateway to the rest of the game.
It also lets you check on your fish in the fish tank (I'll explain later) look at your
fishing license, compare your Reel Fishing save file to others on the memory card,and
get some advice from the fishing master (just look at his picture and he will start
talking) To go to the other stages,select the fishing album, and use left and right to
flip the pages.

Brook-This is the first stage and in my opinion, the easiest. You can catch trout here.
This stage is very easy and simple.You can fish with bait or flies here.

Mountain Steam-This is where you catch char. They are somewhat harder to catch than
trout but still nothing too difficult yet.You can use bait or flies here.

Creek-There are many,many bitterling to catch here. I've caught over 120! Well,this is
sort of a breather after catching char. This stage is easy if you know what to do. You
can only use bait to catch these fish.

Pond-Here's the first real challenge.You can catch carp here and it's actually hard if
you can't tell when they bite.You can only use doughballs for bait in this stage.

Lake-This is probably one of my favorite stages in the game.You can catch black bass and
blue gill here.
This one is harder than the pond, but it's more fun because of the wide variety of
lures.You can only use lures in this stage.

Beaver Dam-You can fish for Cutthroat Trout here. This one is pretty hard because of the
strength of the C. Trout.You can use flies and bait here.

Waterfall-This is the last stage. : ( And it's unbelevibly hard just to set the hook in
this stage! You can fish for Salmon here. You can use flies and bait in this stage.

Fish Tanks

This is a strange feature of the game. You catch and raise fish in a river or lake fish
tank depending on the type of fish you caught. Here's a list of what fish you put in
what tank. I'm doing this off the top of my head so e-mail me if i'm wrong.

Trout,Char,Cuttrhoat trout,and salmon go into the river fish tank.

Bitterling,Carp,Black Bass,and Blue Gill all go into the lake fish tank.

To get the fish into the fish tank, catch the one you want (Trout,Char etc.) and choose
"Put in livewell" then go back to the aqua room and choose the river or lake fish tank,
depending on the fish, and choose put fish in fish tank. It's kind of hard not to
overfeed the fish if you have two or more in the tank,so what I like to do is keep one
fish in a tank and feed it two earthworms every time I go to the aqua room.

Walkthrough

Here's the main part of the game. I'm going to tell you how to finish all of the fishing
licenses,and get you through all of the stages. I will do a walktrough for The second
and third fishing liscense in a later version of this FAQ.Part of fishing in this game
is luck so don't be suprised if you get stuck on a stage for a couple of days (I was
stuck on the lake stage for a month until one of my friends helped me out)

Stage one-"Catch ten trout" Nuff' said! This is a very easy stage. Just use the Grapite
R.A with a brown parachute fly and you should be done in five minutes.

Stage Two- "Catch A Char Larger than 9.8" If you use the same strategy as above,you will
pass this stage in no time!

Stage Three-"Catch 20 Bitterling"This may seem like a daunting task, but there is a
small trick that will make this stage SO much easier (Look in the code section) Use any
rod you want with a dough ball as bait.

Stage Four- "Catch a Carp larger than 11.8" I hate this stage! It's so hard to set the
hook on this stage!
Oh well,maybe you'll have better luck.Use the longer rod(i forgot what it's called) and
use a dough ball for bait.

Stage Five-"Catch a black bass larger than 15.0" The best stage in the game! Use either
rod with a crawfish lure to beat this stage.

Stage Six-"Catch 5 Cutthroughts larger than 9.8" This stage is pretty hard. Use the
Graphite R.A rod with a Brown Parachute fly.

Stage Seven-"Catch a Salmon" This stage is REALLY hard! But if you use the Brown
Parachute fly, you'll be fine.

Codes

Here are the codes for this game. I don't like to use codes on this game because it
takes all of the fun out of fishing in this game so use these codes at your own
discretion.

Catch Bitterling Easily- To do this,be about to catch a bitterling (when it inspects the
bait) when bubbles come out of its mouth, quickly press x and o at the same time. Thanks
to Gamesages for that one!

Music Test- To get this option, beat the game by catching a salmon. Then when you start
the game again, press R2 and the option will be there.

2 Trout Modifier 800C6690 ???? (0000-03E7) This will set the number of Trout you need to
catch to go to the next stage.

3 Char Modifier 800C66A8 ???? (0000-03E7) Use the Fish Size Maximum code and catch one
Char to move on.

4 Bitterling Modifier 800C66C0 ???? (0000-03E7) For this code,to advance to the next
stage, set the last four digits to 0014 and then just catch one Bitterling to advance to
the next stage.

5 Carp Modifier 800C66D8 ???? (0000-03E7) To pass this stage, use the Fish Size Maximum
code and catch one Carp.

6 Black Bass Modifier 800C66F0 ???? (0000-03E7)To pass this stage, use the Fish Size
Maximum Code and catch one Black Black Bass and one Blue Gill.

7 Cutthroat Trout Modifier 800C6708 ???? (0000-03E7) Use the Fish Size Maximum code and
catch five Cutthroat Trouts to move on.

8 Number of Salmon Caught Modifier 800C6720 ???? (0000-03E7) I guess this code is pretty
useless because you only need to catch one Salmon to get the ending. By the way, I
hacked this code.

9 Catch & Release 100 Fish 800C662A 0064 -----------------------------------------------
