METAL GEAR SOLID INTEGRAL VR DISC FAQ v0.4
Unpublished Work Copyright 1999-2000 ShinJN <

This FAQ covers: Game Screens, Tactical Techniques, CPU Scores,
VR Disc Secrets, and all other tidbits.
*BONUS SECTION* - Normal Game Secrets
**Please do not send me solutions for the PUZZLE and MYSTERY stages.**
**Read my comments carefully before assuming I do not know them.**
Disclaimer: 1) Plain and simple... Don't PLAGIARIZE!!!
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ - I know that most of the stuff in here (like scores
& game screens) are from the game, but some of the
stuff is my hard work, like the screen art and layout
tables and charts.
2) This FAQ cannot and will not be taken and re-edited
- I'm sure everyone hates getting their work or ideas
ripped and re-published with different, but similar
wording. Words could be changed with the help of a
thesaurus, but that will not help disguise what was
ripped. An author knows when and how his work was
ripped. With a simple look at the punctuation,
captialization, and the words used, an author could
instantly know that his or her work has been ripped.
Everyone has their own style of writing and none are
exactly alike. Stick to your own style of writing,
own type of words, and things will be alright.
3) No part of this faq may be used anywhere else.
- Anywhere else includes: websites, magazines, newsgroups,
and any other place I didn't mention. This FAQ is to
remain only on GameFAQs. This FAQ cannot be reproduced
anywhere at all. Look above for the "anywhere" list.
4) DO NOT USE THIS FAQ FOR PROFITABLE REASONS!!!
- Don't sell this FAQ! I made this for all the people
out there and posted it on a site that is free to
everyone. Even if you wasted 60 sheets of paper to
print this out, that's no reason to use that as an
excuse to sell my FAQ. THIS FAQ WILL BE IN NO PROFITABLE
ACTIVITY AT ANYTIME! Understand!? ^_^

I. INTRODUCTION
____________________________________________________________________
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
Welcome to my FAQ on Metal Gear Solid Integral's VR Disc.
This FAQ will cover almost everything - from the menu
screens to mission strategies. Please enjoy!
For those who are wondering what the VR Disc is, let me
tell you. The VR Disc is the third disc that comes with
the Japan-only Metal Gear Solid Integral. The other two
discs is the original US MGS game with a few more cool
additions to it. For a list of the new features, please
visit <www.metalgear.net>. The VR Disc holds 300 levels
of amazing training missions, game show movies, and
many other things. MGSI is a great addition to anyone's
game library.

II. MENU SCREENS
____________________________________________________________________
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
This section will show and describe what each of the
menu screens look like. Some of the text in these
menus are in Japanese. I cannot read japanese, but I
will try to explain what the japanese text is trying
to emphasize.
_______________________________________________________________
Main Menu
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
When you first start the game, you will be shown a very
kick-ass intro movie. After the movie, you will be taken
to the main menu. The menu consists of three categories
to choose from:
VR TRAINING
EXTRA
OPTION
_______________________________________________________________
EXTRA Menu
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
When you choose EXTRA from the main menu, you will see
this screen:

| |
| MOVIE |
| |
| |
| |
| |
| ______ |
| | EXIT | |

¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
When MOVIE is chosen, this screen will show:

| ¯ | | ¯ |
| ¯¯¯¯¯ |
| TGS ROLL A |
| |
| ______ |
| | EXIT | |
| ¯¯¯¯¯¯ |
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
The only viewable movie is "TGS ROLL A." The other two "?"
movies are only viewable after doing certain things. See
the VR DISC SECRETS AND CODES section to find out what to do.
Note: The "TGS ROLL A" movie is the movie that KCEJ showed
at the Tokyo Game Show in March '98. I got this bit
of information from the dialogue box that pops up
when the movie is chosen.
_______________________________________________________________
OPTION Menu
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
When OPTION is chosen at the main menu, a screen with these
options will appear:
______ _____
|STEREO|---< SOUND > MONAURAL
¯¯¯¯¯¯ ¯¯¯¯¯
____ _________
| ON |---< VIBRATION > OFF
¯¯¯¯ ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
______________
WEAK < VIBRATION TEST > STRONG
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
KEY CONFIG
______
| EXIT |
¯¯¯¯¯¯
The OPTION menu is easy to understand. There should not
be any problem figuring out what each option does. When
KEY CONFIG is chosen, you are given the option of chosing
three types of controller configurations - as well as the
option of choosing the way of how 1st person perspective
movement should maneuver like. The screen should look like
this:
______ ___ ___ ___
< (TYPE) > | A | | B | | C |
¯¯¯¯¯¯ ¯¯¯ ¯¯¯ ¯¯¯
_____
| TRI |---------,(BUT. 2)
____ ¯¯¯¯¯ _____ ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯

(BUT. 3) ,-----------| X |
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ ¯¯¯¯¯
____________
< (1st person) > NORMAL REVERSE
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
______
| EXIT |
¯¯¯¯¯¯
NOTE: For the (1st person) option, choosing NORMAL will
make UP - up and Down - down. Choosing REVERSE
will make UP - down and Down - up.
NOTE: All text in ( ) are the words that I am using in
place of the japanese text.
NOTE: The buttons in the real KEY CONFIG screen are not
in words. Instead, there is a picture of a PSX
controller with the buttons.
NOTE: Look below for a legend of BUTTONS 1 through 4 and
a list of button configurations according to the
config type.

VII. TARGET AND ENEMY TYPES
____________________________________________________________________
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
There are different types of targets and enemies used on
the VR Disc. Here is a list and description of each type.
Targets
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
Blue - These are the standard targets used. They shatter
like glass when shot at. These targets come in
these shapes: square, diamond, and semi-hourglass.
Red - These are the exploding targets. When shot at, these
targets explode and cause a chain reaction if other
red targets are close. Be cautious of where you stand
or you will be a victim of these targets. Shapes of
this type of target include: square, diamond, and
gigantic diamond.
Green - These targets are the same as the blue ones. These
targets are used for the NO WEAPON portion of 1 MIN
BATTLE - VS. TARGETS in SPECIAL MODE
Enemies
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
Arctic Warfare Troops - These are the standard troops on
the VR Disc.
Droid Target Troops - These troops are the type of troops
used for virtual reality target
practice in real life VR games.
Stealth Troops - These troops are in Level 06 of the VARIETY
section in SPECIAL MODE.

VIII. PERCENTAGE CHARTS AND AWARDS
____________________________________________________________________
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
This section will breakdown the completion percentage
for each portion of each mode in chart form. The chart
will also list what you will be awarded for completing
certain portions of the VR Missions. Please note that
I start from sneaking mode, complete all missions, then
work my way down. The awards you get are based on the
percentage score. Therefore, the way you get your awards
may vary depending on how you play the VR missions. If
you jump around a lot (ie. skip levels between modes),
this chart may not apply to you.

In this section, I will list all of the scores that I have
achieved on the VR Disc. Most of the scores are up there in
rank and some are not so great (marked with N/A). This section
won't really help you with the VR Disc. I just thought I'd
provide my scores on the VR Disc. Enjoy! ^_^

XI. MISSION STRATEGIES AND TIPS
____________________________________________________________________
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
This section will cover all of the Time Attack missions.
As well as the Target Missions. These strategies and tips
should help you rank first in time and score.

Sneaking Mode
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
In SNEAKING MODE, there are two 15 stage missions you must
complete - NO WEAPON and SOCOM. If you have played the VR
Missions on the original MGS game, this mode will be very
similar.
NO WEAPON
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
Level 01 - For this stage, simply run up to the guard and
throw him. Then run to the stage mark.
Level 02 - In this stage, run to the right and go up the
middle path. When you get to the top of the stage,
throw the guard in front of you and run to the
stage mark.
Level 03 - There are two ways you could beat this stage. The
first way is to throw both guards and then go for
the stage mark. The second is to throw the first
guard and then crawl under the gap to reach the
stage mark. I prefer the second solution. Trust
me on this one. The second method will give you
a faster time. Try it and you will see.
Level 04 - This one is too simple. Right when you start the
stage, run to the left, then up, then right, and
then down the middle path and go for the mark.
Level 05 - This one is a bit tricky. There are glass panels
all over the place that will attract the guards
if you run on them. All you need to is fool the
middle guard and then run. To fool the guard, you
need to run on the side of the glass panel you want
the guard to approach. For example, if you want the
guard to go to his right, step on the right side of
the glass panel. After fooling the guard, run the
opposite direction that he is coming. When you are
running, you want to run diagonally away from the
middle of the stage and then run diagonally toward
the middle of the stage. Make sure that when you are
running toward the middle of the stage, you run on
the non-glass panels that are surrounded by the
glass panels. Then simply run for the stage mark.
Level 06 - Once again, another very simple stage. Remember that
cameras have a blind spot. That blind spot is under
the camera. Take the top path and simply run under
all of the cameras while hugging the wall to reach
the stage mark.
Level 07 - You will have to trust me on this one. This one is
also a simple stage. There are a total of 5 lasers
in this stage. You can run right through the first
4 and not get detected. Like I said, you will have
to trust me on this one. When you start the stage,
just run right through the first 4 lasers and then
stop in front of the 5th laser. Now take a look at
laser. You will see that it is descending down and
starts to fade away. Once you see the laser start
to fade, run for the stage mark. Another way to
look at the laser is to look at the wall. When the
laser is in the middle of bottom square on the
wall, run for the stage mark.
Level 08 - This stage will take some timing. As you can see,
there are three squares to the left and to the
right, which all contain a guard behind each. When
you see the guards start to turn, take the left or
right path and run towards the middle square. When
you get to the middle square, duck and crawl. When
you see the guards turn once more, stand up and run
for the stage mark.
Level 09 - Once again, this is a tricky stage. In this stage,
you are equipped with C. BOX A - which is used to
cover yourself to avoid being spotted by cameras
in front of you. This will be a little difficult
to explain. When you see the first camera moving
down, run to left of path and try to reach the
forth camera. When you run past the first camera,
position yourself in the middle and continue to
run to the fourth camera. Before the fourth camera
could spot, equip C. BOX A. Now look at your radar.
When you see that the fourth camera's spotting area
has passed the dot (you) on the radar, unequip the
box and run up the path hugging the left side. This
will take some practice. Here is how I look at the
cameras and what number they are:
_ ______________ _
| | __ | |
| | \/ | |
| |_____ _____| |
|_______| |_______|
| |
_ | | _
|_|6th | | 5th|_|
| |
_ | | _
|_|4th | | 3rd|_|
| |
_ | | _
|_|2nd | | 1st|_|
| |
_______| |_______
| _____| |_____ |
| | | |
| | | |
|_|______________|_|
Level 10 - Another simple one. All you need to do run. What
you want to do is run all the way to the right
and then run up, right past the guard. The trick
here is, when you are running to the right, hug
the wall. That way, the guards will not see you.
Level 11 - How simple can these get? What you want to do is
walk all the way to the top of the stage taking
path with trap doors. When you get to the top,
make a left and then keep running left. Do not
stop. The guard in front of you will turn just
in time and will not spot you. Run all the way
to the left to the stage mark.
Level 12 - This stage will require some anticipation towards
the end. What you want to do is walk up the middle
path hugging the right wall. Before you reach the
little gap in the wall, stop and knock on the wall.
This will alert the guard. Now what you want to do
is run to the left wall and then run straight up.
Now take the left path and hide behind the corner
so the guard cannot see you. Anticipate when the
guard will turn. Right when you see him turn, run
all the way to the top, run past the guard and make
a quick turn to the stage mark.
Level 13 - Right when you start this stage, run to the right
and stand behind the right corner of the middle
path. When the guard has stopped walking and taken
his post, run up the path and to the right. Then
run up and diagonally up-left between the camera
lights. Once you are clear away from the camera
lights, run up and go for the stage mark.
Level 14 - For this stage, staying on the edge of the stage
is the trick here. When you start the stage, go
to your left and stick to the edge of the stage.
Wait for the guard (on the left) to turn and
continue to proceed up. Just stick to the edge of
the stage and you will eventually get to the stage
mark.
Level 15 - You have two ways to beat this stage - take the
left path, or the right path. The right path is
the safest, but the slowest. It involves crawling
into the hole and crawling all the way to the end
of the stage. Of course, this will give you the
worst time ever. So the only way to go is to take
the left path. Now here is what you want to do.
Right when you start the stage, run diagonally
up-left and knock on the wall. This will alert
the guard. When the guard is alerted, walk to the
left around the square wall and stop at the corner
of the wall where the camera is pointing towards.
Stand there and wait for the big search light to
come towards you. Once it has, walk straight and
stop at the corner of the wall that is under the
camera. When you see the guard to your right stop,
run at a 45 degree angle and walk behind the guard
and to the stage mark.

Special Mode
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
1 MIN BATTLE - VS. TARGET
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
In this mode, you are given 1 min. to destroy as many
targets you can. There are many different tactics that
you could use to achieve maximum score. Good luck!
No Weapon - For this stage, do not do the punch/punch/kick
combo. What I done was punched the targets
three times consecutively. Don't push the Action
button rapidly, instead, tap it three times.
Socom - This one is a little difficult. Utilize the run and
shoot technique. Try to memorize the order in which
the targets pop up. It takes three shots to destroy
a target.
C4 - For this stage, I simply walked left and right planting
C4. As I walked away from the C4, I detonated it. Repeat
and you should rank first. Do not detonate the C4 too
early or you'll get blasted and lose valuable time.
Famas - As with the Socom stage, utilize the run and shoot
technique.
Grenade - This one is very tricky. For this stage, you must
know the pattern of the targets. You must know when
they are the closet in order to blow all of them at
one time. You must also know the time it takes for
the grenade to explode. That way, you can 'time'
when you throw your grenade. You may choose to stand
anywhere - as long as you are able to throw a grenade
towards the center of the square.
Claymore - For this stage, a new technique is needed. What you
want to do is plant a mine so that it's targeting
area is on the target. By doing this, the target
will explode once Snake plants the claymore mine.
Debris of the targets will destroy other targets
that are close.
Nikita - For this stage, stay in the middle and fire missiles
in all four directions. You will notice that there is
a moving taget circling the center target. That is
there to prevent you from blowing up five targets in
one shot. Try to blow up the center target when the
moving target is stationary to the left, right, or top
of the center target. This blows up six targets instead
of three or four.
PSG1 - There are six flights of stairs in this stage. Three
have Diazepam and you must choose which to get. The
first Diazepam (left) has a quantity of one, the second
(middle) has two, and the third (right) has three. All
that is needed is two Diazepam for this stage. The
targets on this stage pop in and out. So once you get
your Diazepam, arm your PSG1, and fire away. Try not
to miss too many times. That will just waste time and
give you a low score. If you have a analog controller,
aiming with the PSG1 is easier.
Stinger - In this stage, try to shoot at clusters of targets.
This will save time and amount of 'locking on' you
have to do.
1 MIN BATTLE - VS. ENEMY
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
This is the same as the above mode, but instead of targets,
you must kill troops. In some of these levels, you must be
spotted by the enemy to be able to get the highest score.
Good luck!
No Weapon - You have 1 min. to kill as many enemies as
possible. Notice that you can also throw
the enemy over the ledge for a kill. I find
it easy to rank 1st place by throwing 12 of
the guys off the ledge without getting spotted
and then getting spotted with the remaining
time. In order to throw a troop without getting
spotted, you must throw the troop at an angle
over the ledge they are facing.
Socom - In this stage, you can kill a few of the troops
before alerting them. I just find that it wastes
time if you kill silently. In order to get the
top rank, you must be spotted early, run to the
middle of the three stairways and kill the enemy
as they approach you. It is not easy as it sounds.
C4 - What you want to do here is plant the first 3 C4 where
the troops are standing. Start from the bottom, then
middle, then top. Then go to where you planted the first
C4 and plant about 15 more. After doing that, push the
Action button 3 times to kill the first set of enemies.
Then the backup will arrive to where the last explosion
was. Simply blow a C4 in their face and continue to do
so until time runs out. Some of the troops will not go
where you want them. If that is the case, what you want
to do is run in a direction that will make the troops
go where the C4 is and blow them up.
Famas - Start by shooting anyone. This will alert the others
and backup will arrive. Stay in the middle and just
shoot anyone that comes your way. If you are low on
power, you might want to move and go to one of the
man-holes (located at top, bottom, left, and right)
and wait for the enemy there and blast away. You can
also go to one of the man-holes at the beginning of
the stage, but you might not get the highest score.
Grenade - This is a tricky one. What you want to do is alert
the enemy and RUN. Run in a square around the hill
of stairs (not too close or too far). When you have
4 guards trailing you, stop, turn around, face them,
and throw grenades. Yes, you will get hit by enemy
fire, but you have enough energy to survive in this
stage. The grenade should kill 3 or all of the guards
in one shot. After killing the guards, continue to
run and gather up another 4 guards. Repeat what you
did for the other guards and eventually, you'll get
the high score.
Claymore - The trick of planting a claymore and knocking on the
wall to lure the enemy will not work here. What you
need here is a new technique. That technique is to
plant a claymore mine so that it's targeting area is
where the enemy is standing. So what you want to do
is alert the enemy, stand around the corner of a wall
and let them come to you. As they come, plant a mine
and watch them explode instead of you. Most of the
time, when done correctly, Snake will not be harmed
by the mine, but there are times when Snake will get
blown up. When time is almost up and you have enough
energy, run up to the enemy and just plant one right
in their face. BOOM!
Nikita - Stay in the middle, shoot a missile and let it hit the
wall. The enemy will go to the wall and stand there in
confusion. Launch another missile and blow them up.
Just keep launching missiles and kill the enemy. Turn
around when the enemy is behind you.
PSG1 - If you have a analog controller, this one will be easy.
Get your Diazepam, get in position, and blast away. The
analog makes maneuvering fast and easy.
Stinger - Launch one missile, everyone is alerted, and hell
breaks loose. Shoot everyone you see as fast as you
could. Try not to aim at moving targets. Sometimes
the missile will just miss them.
VS. 12 BATTLE
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
In this mode, you are given 12 enemies in which you must
kill in the fastest time possible. You are also given
specific weapons that you must use as well. You do not
always have to kill the enemy with a particular weapon.
You can always choke and snap a guard's neck if needed.
As before, getting spotted by the enemy will sometimes
help in getting the highest score. There are many ways
in which a person can use to beat a stage and get the
fastest time possible. Therefore, I will provide some
tips that you could incorporate into your strategy.
Stage marks only appear when all 12 of the guards are killed.
Trying to complete the stage unharmed is not the key here.
Sacrificing some power is essential to getting the fastest
time possible.
Level 01 Weapons Tips
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
10/10 PSG1 - Use the grenades to blow up an unaware
3/3 Stinger guard. This will alert other guards and
3/3 Nikita they will come to the origin of the
3/3 Grenade sound. Continue to kill oncoming guards
with the grenade or any other choice of
weapon. Eventually, you will get spotted
and everyone starts chasing you.
- Luring the guards with explosions and
sounds is the key here.
- The stage mark is in the center of the
stage.
Level 02 Weapons Tips
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
30/30 Socom - Gun down as many guards with the Socom
1/1 Grenade as fast as possible.
1/1 Nikita - Get spotted after using the Socom and
1/1 Claymore kill the rest of the guards using the
1/1 C4 remaining weapons.
- The stage mark is in the bottom-left
corner of the stage where you started.
Level 03 Weapons Tips
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
12/12 Socom - As with Level 02, use the Socom first.
1/1 Grenade Then use the remaining items when you
2/2 Nikita get spotted.
2/2 Claymore - The stage mark is located in the top-
1/1 C4 right corner of the stage.
Level 04 Weapons Tips
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
12/12 Socom - You start at the top portion of this
3/3 Grenade stage. Run forward and kill the guard
2/2 Stinger below. Another one will come. Kill him
2/2 C4 as well. Continue to use up your Socom.
- Use the Stinger after the Socom is used
up. This will alert others. Use the
remaining weapons to finish them off.
- The stage mark is located on the third
portion of the stage.
Level 05 Weapons Tips
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
8/8 Grenade - You start on the southern part of this
1/1 Stinger stage. Throw grenades where the first
1/1 Claymore guard is (the one in front of you).
1/1 C4 Continue to throw grenades and blow up
2/2 PSG1 oncoming guards until you run out.
- Use the remaining items to kill the rest
of the guards.
- The stage mark is located where the
first guard was.
Level 06 Weapons Tips
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
12/12 Socom - You start off with no ammo for your
4/4 Grenade weapons. Ammo is located at the top
2/2 Stinger of the stage.
2/2 C4 - Try to get to the ammo without getting
4/4 PSG2 spotted. After getting the ammo, kill
as many guards with the Socom and PSG1
first. Then use the remaining weapons
to kill the rest.
- The stage mark is located in front of
the wall where the ammo was.
Level 07 Weapons Tips
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
12/12 Socom - First use the Socom and kill as many
6/6 Grenade guards as possible. Then use the rest
2/2 Claymore of the weapons to kill the guards.
2/2 C4 - Grenades (if used) should be used to
lure the enemy.
- The stage mark is located in the
middle at the top of the stage.
Level 08 Weapons Tips
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
12/12 Socom - First use the PSG1 to kill the oncoming
2/2 Grenade guards. Then use the Socom. Alert the
2/2 Claymore guards and kill them with the remaining
1/1 C4 weapons.
2/2 PSG1 - The stage mark is located two squares up
from where you started the stage.
MYSTERY
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
In MYSTERY, there are 10 levels in which you must find
the person who murdered the bloody troop on the ground.
In each stage, there are items on the ground that give
a hint/clue to help you find the culprit. This mode is
the most fun and it would ruin the whole mode if I
revealed how to solve each mystery. Therefore, I will
only list the clue that is given in the level. If you
really, and I mean really need help on any of these
levels (to the point where you're gonna go berserk),
then e-mail me at <
[email protected]>
In order to finish the mystery, you must drag the culprit
to the finishing mark. Use the choke and drag teachnique.
Level 01 - Broken camera
Level 02 - Arctic hood/mask and a sock
Level 03 - Partially eaten popsicle bar
Level 04 - Broken eye-glasses
Level 05 - Troop looking over the dead body
Level 06 - The name JOHNNY written in blood
Level 07 - A set of footpints
Level 09 - Broken eye-glasses
Level 10 - Clues are all over the place
NOTE: Using 1st Person View will make Snake focus on the
given clue/hint. Using 1st Person View will also
help you solve some of the mysteries.
PUZZLE
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
This is also a pretty fun mode. Fun, but tricky as well.
As with the Mystery section, I will only describe what
the stage is like, instead of giving the solution. These
stages are not calculus level problems. There should be
little or no stress figuring these puzzles out. Good luck!
Level 01 - There are 7 guards lined up in a row. All are
on segmented platforms. You have 6 grenades and
know that precision throwing with grenades isn't
Snake's profession. So what do you do?
Level 02 - Again, there are 7 guards. But instead of being
in a row, they are placed in a shape of a triangle.
You have one guard in front of you. What now?
Level 03 - You are armed with the Stinger You see a troop on
a higher level and a camera which blocks the only
path that leads to the stairway. What now?
Level 04 - Once again, you are armed with the Stinger. There
is a wall of explosive red cubes. You blow the wall
of cubes only to find out that there are 6 others
well hidden. How 'off' can you aim?
Level 05 - There is a guard to the left and right of Snake.
There are glass walls in front of you. The Famas
does not have a silencer. What do you do?
Level 06 - In this stage, you are armed with the Nikita. Each
pair of red cubes connect one platform to another.
Blow the wrong one up at the wrong time and you must
restart. Think about the order in which you must
blow the cubes up. Can you figure it out?
Level 07 - In this stage, there are two cameras patrolling the
grounds. There is a mine detector at the bottom of
the screen. If you get it, you will see that there
are claymore mines in the center of the stage, right
where the cameras are moving back and forth. Now
that you know where the mines are, restart the level.
Now this is what you want to do. When you first start
the stage, run up and to the right and hang in the
corner where the camera does not pass through. Then
wait till that light begins to move up. Watch for the
other light and slowly move up. You will see that
there will be a gap for you to run through. What you
want to do is run through the gap and pick up the
mines, get up, then continue running forward to avoid
being spotted. Then go to the glass wall, plant a
mine (not to close to the wall), and blow yourself up
to break the wall. (This solution somehow ended up
being typed and I just now realized it... hehe. Lucky
people. I should be more careful next time ^_^)
Level 08 - Walk forward and you will see 12 in-ground cubes.
Throw a grenade and when it explodes, a tower of
cubes pops up. Can you make all of the towers pop
up in the fastest time?
Level 09 - There are 2 cameras, both which are blocking the
only two paths that lead inside the square. To make
matters worse, there is a guard standing there as
well. You are armed with C4. What now?
Level 10 - There is a guard spinning around like mad. There is
also a mine detector. Get the detector and you see
one claymore mine close to where the guard is. There
is also a glass wall on the other side. You are
walking on a snow covered platform. You know that
troops follow footprints. Your life is very low,

which means you cannot blow yourself up to break the
glass wall. What now?
VARIETY
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
Level 01 - There is a long pathway with a glass panel at the
end. There is also a guard in front of you. This
one is kind of like a puzzle because you have to
figure out what to do. Some may get it at first
and some may not. What you want to do is kill the
guard on the glass panel. Use the choke and drag
technique.
Level 02 - For this stage, what you want to do is put the
guard in the hole above. Knock on the walls to
lure him close to the hole. Then, you can either
throw or punch and kick him into the hole. Try
not to get caught. For me, I throw the guard.
Level 03 - 5 guards and 5 holes occupy this stage. Same concept
applies here. Put the guards in the holes. Throwing
will not work here. Instead, punch and kick them.
You must punch and kick correctly or they will not
fall into the hole. You can first start with the
guard on the left or on the right. Then go to the
guards in the middle.
Level 04 - This one is a tricky one. There are 6 guards lined
up in a row and you are armed with C4. What I do is
unequip my C4, walk against the wall, place a C4
between the 1st & 2nd guard, place a C4 between the
3rd & 4th guard, place a C4 between the 4th & 5th
guard, walk against the wall and stay behind the 6th
guard and detonate all the C4. Look below of a diagram.

¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
G G G G G G
G G C4 G C4 G G C4 G
Level 05 - This stage is very tricky. A visual demonstration
has to be shown to really explain this one. I will
try my best to explain this one. What you want to
do is run up to the guard to the left. Once you get
there, throw him. Once you throw him, run to the
right, not straight to the stage mark, run straight
to the right. When the stage mark is above you, do
not run straight up to the mark. Instead, run past
the mark a little bit, then run diagonally up-left
to the mark.
Level 06 - This stage has Stealth Soldiers. You can barely see
these soldiers because of the clear stealth they
have. If you look carefully, you can see them a bit.
If you have a clear shot, take them out. If you
don't, knock on the wall to lure them out.
Level 07 - This stage shouldn't be a problem. Destroy 28 red
targets to finish the stage.
Level 08 - In this stage, you have a total of 5 targets to
destroy. Each target will pop up once you destroy
one. The first target will be to the left, then
the right, and the remaining 3 will be in the
middle. Watch each target and know where they go
and destroy them. The last target is the tricky
one. The first and simplest solution is to aim at
the top point of the target and wait for the
sleeping guard to move forward. Once he does, pull
the trigger and run for the stage mark, which is
on the lowest floor. The second solution is the
fastest, yet skillful one. What you want to do is
go to the first floor and get the Diazepam. After
doing so, go back to the top of the stairs that
you first went up. Postion yourself and arm the
PSG1. Destroy all targets right away up till the
4th target. Wait till the target moves to the
left of the guard (his left, your right) and then
destroy it. Then the 5th target will pop up. Aim
at the point of the target to YOUR right and
shoot. This will destroy the target and not kill
the guard.
Level 09 - In this stage, you are put through an obstacle
course (kind of) with the Socom. You must destroy
74 targets to complete the stage.
Level 10 - This stage is the same as Level 09 except you are
armed with the Famas.
Level 11 - In the first part of this stage, you must destroy
20 red targets or 'UFOs'. Then after destroying
the targets, a giant UFO will pop out. Continuously
blast it with the Stinger to destroy it. If you fail
to destroy the UFO, Snake will be abducted.
Level 12 - In this stage, you must keep a giant soldier away
from a fallen Meryl. Equip your Stinger and you
will see that there are 5 points on the giant that
you could aim at. If you aim for the stomach, this
stage will be easy. Just continue to shoot at the
stomach and the giant will fall. If you aim at any
other point, you will have to aim at that point on
the next shot. For example, if you shoot at the head
and knee, you will have to shoot at the same points
to make the giant fall.
Level 13 - This stage is the same as Level 12, but you must
keep 2 giants away from Meryl. Aiming at that
stomach will make this stage easy to complete.
VR MISSION
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
In the VR MISSION, you must go through 10 levels and try
to complete them as fast as possible. The 10 levels are
not individually timed as the others. Instead, you are
timed on how fast you can complete the 10 levels. All I
can suggest is to practice and memorize the levels so
you can develop tactics and strategies. Know where to run,
hide, and know where to find the weapons on those levels.
In the VR Mission, you are able to get Rations by killing
enemies quietly (sometimes), just like in the normal game.
When I am able to come up with a sure-shot solution to get
the fastest time in the VR Mission, I will put it up.
NINJA
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
Level 01 - There are 15 straw tied poles that you must slash
in this level. Memorize where these poles are and
slash them as quickly as possible.
Level 02 - You must kill 30 enemies in this level and do it
as quickly as possible. Best way to beat the CPU
score is to get caught by the enemy and let them
come to you. Enemies will continue to approach
you up till the 25th kill. After that, you have
to either go to the entrance where you came from
or the exit to look for the remaining five. After
you kill one, another one will pop out. Continue
to kill the enemy until you get 30 kills.
Level 03 - In this level, you must look for Solid Snake in a
soldier's uniform and assassinate him. Basically,
you must look for a soldier that has Snake's head.
It is much harder than it sounds. Most of the time,
Snake tends to walk around in the left portion of
the place. Run, activate your stealth when you see
a soldier, and then find Snake and slash him. If you
get spotted or kill any other soldier besides Snake,
you will fail the mission.
NG SELECTION
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
NG Selection is a set of levels that were cut from the
making of the VR Disc. These levels are different from
the others and are pretty fun to play. Too bad Konami
didn't make more of these levels to have more than 300
levels.
Level 01 - Use your Mine Dectector and collect all of the
Claymore Mines you see. After doing so, the stage
mark will appear. In order to get the fastest time,
you must know when to run and crawl so that you are
able to pick up the mine once you touch the ground.
Crawling through the whole stage will not get you a
good time.
Level 02 - You are armed with the Grenade in this stage. Once
you start the stage, throw a grenade right away.
Then go and hide behind the tallest part of the wall.
The grenade will explode right when the droid gets
there.
Level 03 - This stage has a droid with excellent eye-sight. You
have a cardboard box and your goal is to reach the
stage mark. What you want to do is wait till the droid
turns around and then make a run for it. When you are
about to reach the halfway point of the pathway, equip
the carboard box and wait. The droid will come up to
the box and say "Just a box." When it turns around and
walks back, unequip the box and you can either throw
the droid and run for the mark, or you could snap its
neck. Throwing will give you the best time.
Level 04 - In this stage, red targets are lined up in a '@'
shape. In the line are a few moving targets. What
you want to do here shoot one target so that it
causes a chain reaction. If you shoot the first
target at the wrong time, the full chain reaction
will not occur, due to the moving targets. If that
is the case, just run and shoot the next target.
Level 05 - In this stage, there are 3 droids and 3 explosion
sound panels. If you run on these panels, explosive
sounds will emit and alert the droids. What you want
to do is crawl or lean against the wall and go across
the sound panel. Most people will crawl over all the
panels and leave the droids alone, which in turn will
give them a low time. What you want to do here is
once you have crawled over the first sound panel, kill
the first droid by snapping its neck. Why? You must
do this because that droid is the only one awake.
Plus, it patrols the other side where the stage mark
is.
Level 06 - This is a PSG1 stage. In this stage, there are 3 blue
targets to destroy. Sounds easy? I don't think so.
The targets in this stage appear and disappear in a
twelve square grid. What I suggest for this stage is
to memorize where each one first appears. That way,
you can go directly to that square and blast the blue
target away.
Level 07 - For this stage, you must kill the droid to make the
stage mark appear. There is an empty Stinger launcher
on the lower level. If you get the Stinger launcher,
you have two places to get a missile to shoot the
droid. The first is on the 2nd level where you first
start the stage. The bad thing is, it is all the way
on the other side. Getting that missile will give you
a really bad time. The other is on the lower level
where the glass floor and droid are. Running on the
glass floor will alert the droid and make getting the
missile very difficult. So what do you do? Right when
you start this stage, what you want to do is run down
the stairs and crawl to where the Stinger launcher is,
stand up, and stay still. Once the droid passes you,
press on the D-pad towards the droid by tapping the
D-pad. This will make Snake somewhat slide and not
run on the glass floor. Once close to the droid,
choke and snap the neck of the droid. Then run to the
stage mark.
Level 08 - This is a Mystery stage. The clue is a book held by
the dead troop. If YOU can't figure it out, E-mail me.

Extra Movies
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
If you went to the EXTRA option before starting a game,
you probably noticed that in the MOVIE section, there
were two "?" movies. Look below for the qualifications
to enable these two movies.
To get the "?" movie on the right: TGS Roll B [March '98]
- Complete SNEAKING and WEAPON MODE (46.6%)
To get the "?" movie on the left: E3 [June '97]
- Complete 1 MIN. BATTLE in SPECIAL MODE (79.3%)
NOTE: Unlocking these movies and getting the percentages given
go according to the order of completion in the PERCENTAGE
CHARTS AND AWARDS section.
NOTE: TGS Roll B is the second movie that was shown at the
Tokyo Game Show on March of 1998.
NOTE: The E3 movie is the one Konami showed at E3 on June of
1997 to promote Metal Gear Solid.

Camera Mode
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
This is a pretty cool feature of the VR Disc. In this
mode, you get to take pictures of Mei Ling and Naomi
Hunter. If you were wondering, nope, there is no
swimsuit option. Anyway, look below to see how to get
this mode.
To get Camera Mode - Naomi Hunter:
- Beat the normal game on any difficulty setting
except VERY EASY and EXTREME. After beating the
game, save the mission data and start up the VR
Disc. After doing so, go to EXTRA and you will
see the option PHOTOGRAPHING. Choose PHOTOGRAPHING
and enjoy.
- You will notice that when you enter PHOTOGRAPHING
MODE, there are boundaries with the rank you
achieved after completing the normal game. The
higher the rank, the closer you get to be. Good
luck!
NOTE: To exit the current photography session, simply
walk/run to the bottom of the stage.
NOTE: If you beat the game on EASY and NORMAL, you
will get to take pictures of Naomi sitting
in front of a computer. If you beat the game
on HARD, you will get to take pictures of
Naomi in a model shoot, just like Mei Ling.
To get Camera Mode - Mei Ling:
- Beat the normal game on the EXTREME difficulty
setting. Follow the same instructions as above
and enjoy.
- Remember, the higher your rank after beating
the game, the closer you get to be next to Mei
Ling. Enjoy!
NOTE: To get the highest rank in the difficulty you are
playing, please look below in the Ninja trick section
for a list of guidelines you must follow.

Ninja Mode
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
This has to be one of the best modes the game has to
offer. But there is one downside - Ninja Mode only
has three levels to play. It is quite disappointing.
I wished Konami included missions where you get to
use the Ninja unarmed or with his arm cannon. That
would be a good 100 levels don't ya think? ^_^
To get Ninja Mode - PocketStation Method 1
- Finish the game on any level except "very easy"
- Download your save data to a PocketStation
- Exchange your save data with a total of 5 other
players within 7 days.
- The regular PSX Memory card cannot be used for
this method
NOTE: I have not confirmed this method because I do not
own a PocketStation. Therefore, I do not know what
exactly happens in the process of this method.
NOTE: Source - www.superfami.com
Used with permission from Chris Barker - webmaster
of <www.superfami.com>
To get Ninja Mode - PocketStation Method 2
- Finish a normal game on any difficulty except VERY
EASY.
- Get the highest rank in that difficulty setting
- After saving your mission data, you are prompted to
save FOXDIE data to a PocketStation. Save the data
then load up the VR Disc with the PocketStation in
the memory slot.
NOTE: Once again, I have not confirmed this method.
NOTE: Source - www.superfami.com
Used with permission from Chris Barker - webmaster
of <www.superfami.com>
To get Ninja Mode - Normal Game Method
- You must achieve the highest rank in any game
difficulty except VERY EASY. Below is a list
of the highest ranks according to the level of
difficulty.
EASY - HOUND
NORMAL - DOBERMAN
HARD - FOX
EXTREME - BIG BOSS
- In order to get the highest rank, these guidelines
must be followed:
- Found by enemy 4 times or less
- Killed 25 enemies or less
- Used 1 ration or none
- Never continue
- Finished the game in 3 hours or less
- Saved game 79 times or less
(A pretty huge maximum, but there is
no need to save that many times.)
- You are allowed to use the special items (Stealth
and Bandana) to get the highest rank. Using these
items does not decrease your rank like in the US
version of MGS.
- After completing the game, start up the VR Disc
and you will see that the Ninja has opened his
face plate to reveal his face in the title screen.
Go to SPECIAL MODE and you will see that the NINJA
option is now available.
NOTE: I prefer this method rather than the others.
NOTE: There is also another method to get the Ninja.
This method involves the usage of a Gameshark,
Game Enhancer, or Pro Action Replay. This method
is the easiest, but the most inaccurate one.
For this method, you simply input codes to clear
all of the modes and you will have access to
Ninja mode. The inaccurate part is that your
percentage will exceed 100 if you use this method.
Since I dispise this method, I will not put it in
my FAQ.
To get Ninja Mode - US VR Missions method
- Here is a trick that was submitted by "Wynn." This
method makes it real easy to access Ninja Mode in
in the US version of the VR Disc of MGSI, dubbed
VR Missions. The method is quite simple.
- Let the intro movie play. When you are watching
the movie, you will notice that the Ninja's face
appears four times. The first three times will
show the Ninja with his face plate closed. The
fourth time will show the Ninja with an open
face plath. When you see this, push start right
away. By doing this, you are now allowed to access
Ninja Mode in SPECIAL MODE.
- If you see the Ninja with an open face plate on the
title screen, then you know the trick has worked.
NOTE: I have not confirmed this method because I do not
own the US VR Missions. I have confirmed that this
method does not work for the VR Disc of MGSI.
Controls for Ninja
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
Square - While running: Press to do a forward
spinning slash
When close to enemy: Press to choke
and slash throat
Triangle - First Person View Mode
X - Jump (when pressed, Ninja automatically jumps
forward in the direction he is facing)
Circle - Cross Slash
R1 - Press and hold for Body Disruption
R2 - Press to activate Stealth Mode
Press again to deactivate
NOTE: The buttons above will vary depending on which
type of button configuration you chose in the
KEY CONFIG in OPTION.
NOTE: Using the Body Disruption and Stealth Mode will
deplete the Ninja's power.
NOTE: By holding down the button, the Cross Slash could
be used to deflect enemy bullets. As long as
you are facing the guards and do not move, the
Ninja will deflect all bullets. But if there
are guards to the side of the Ninja, the Ninja
will get hit. You can also deflect bullets when
you are running, but the chance of being hit by a
bullet is more of a possibility.

Alternate Outfits
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
As in the US version of MGS, Snake is able to wear a
tuxedo during his mission. But this time, Meryl gets
a new wardrobe for herself as well. Her new outfit is
Snake's original seanking suit.
To get Alternate Outfits:
- Beat the game 2 times on any difficulty using the
same memory slot. The third time playing, Snake
and Meryl will have their new outfits.
NOTE: Doing this will also give the Ninja the crimson red
and blue cyborg suit.

1st Person Mode
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
This mode could be found in the SPECIAL option on the
main menu. In this mode, you are able to play a normal
game in 1st Person Mode. In other words, you get to
play MGS like Quake or Doom. When playing in this mode,
it seems pretty difficult at first, but it grows on you.
The 1st Person Perspective button (Triangle) is disabled
in this mode. Instead, you have to push Triangle twice
rapidly to enter 1st Person Mode. From there, you can
play MGS like Quake.
To get 1st Person Mode:
- Beat the normal game on any difficulty except VERY
EASY. Rank does not apply.
1st Person Mode Controls
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
Triangle - Push twice rapidly to enter 1st Person Mode
Once in 1st Person Mode:
- Push once and hold to move view freely
- Push twice again to exit 1st Person Mode
- All other controls are the same

¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
- Well, it sure has been a great deal of time since I have updated
this FAQ. I am sorry for the delay. I haven't had much time on
my hands recently. This update is very minor. Nothing really big.
Thanks to all who have taken their time to read this FAQ.
- Over the course of the last update and now, I have received many
e-mails for solutions. I have enjoyed helping all of you people.
It is good to know that so many MGS fans are out there. MGS 4 Life.
- Well, after many months, another MGSI FAQ writer confessed to ripping/
stealing/using my strategies from this FAQ. This person said that he
had no time to write his own and therefore just took my strategies.
Now ain't that a _____. I hate it when people rip stuff from other
people. Let's hope it doesn't happen again.
- I'll say this again. Please do not send me the solutions to any of
the PUZZLE or MYSTERY stages. I received a couple of e-mails
telling me the solutions. I do not need them.
- I am considering on making a seperate FAQ of solutions for the PUZZLE
and MYSTERY stages. But then again... what fun would that leave for
you people? hehe...
- I really have to work on those other strategies. Must start playing
again some day.

- Finally, I have once again updated this FAQ. I have never found the
time to sit down and play Integral to get better times and come
up with better solutions. But now that time is starting to free up
a bit, I am starting to get back into the gaming world. College
sure does control your leisure time.
- Are you a FAQ writer? Well, if you are, then must know what it is
like to have some of your stuff ripped right? Or should I say
used without your consent. I don't know, but what I see in other
FAQs related to MGSI bares a very similar presentation to my FAQ.
But what can I do about it?
- For those who have read my FAQ and e-mailed for solutions and other
things, thanks for taking your time to read my FAQ. I have recieved
so many e-mails on this game and most were asking for solutions. ^_^
Some were nice to reply back with thanks and some didn't. A thanks
is always welcomed.

found at www.gamefaqs.com.

e-mail them to me at <
