-Legal Crap-

I decided to write this FAQ because I had nohing to do this Sunday.
This FAQ is (C)Copyright 2003 by me.
Do not copy it for any other use than reading it. Do not try to make money with
it, blah, blah, blah...

_____________________________________________________________________________

1- Tyrannosaurus Wrecks I
  Difficulty : Easy
  Location : Tyrannosaurus Wrecks

Run, run, RUN! Run around the room until Tyrannosaurus Wrecks stops and calls
its babies. Don't care about the babies and get on Tyrannosaurus Wrecks' head.
Slash its brain with your sword. You have to do this another time and it's
beaten.

BUT IT ISN'T OVER YET...

______________________________________________________________________________

2- Tyrannosaurus Wrecks II
  Difficulty : Easy
  Location : Tyrannosaurus Wrecks

Run through the room and pass through the doorway. Get some pistol ammo from
the Spiv and get on the balcony above the arena (up the stairs). Run around the
balcony. There's an energy fountain on the balcony if you need it, but you
shouldn't need it. When the flying wrecks stop, shoot them with the pistol. The
babies should vanish just before they hit you if you shoot the wrecks in time.
Repeat this until the wrecks fall. If you do it properly, you should only have
to do it two times.

3- Mechanical Elephants I-II
  Difficulty : Easy
  Location : The Freakshow

As written above, this solution is for the two mechs you fight before the
level's final boss. They're both fought the same (easy) way. You're in a small
rectangular arena. Simply shoot the imp in the back when you can. When the mech
is coming towards you, jump in the air just before it attacks. It will retreat
and you can shoot the imp again. Repeat until it dies, get the key, fight the
second mech to get the other key and open the door with two locks.

PREPARE FOR ANOTHER FIGHT...

______________________________________________________________________________

4- Mechanical Elephant III
  Difficulty : Easy
  Location : The Freakshow

This time you can't shoot the imp so equip your sword or arm. There are three
mech pieces above the room and three levers. Jump on a platform with a lever
and dodge/guard the mech's attacks. When it gets beneath the mech piece, hit
the lever and get to another lever. Repeat until the mech breaks. Return to the
professor's lab.

5- Dogman and Mander I
  Difficulty : Medium
  Location : Greenwich Naval Academy

You'd better begin with fighting Dogman, as Mander is nearly untouchable. Equip
your hammer (hope you got it) and charge it up. When you come near Dogman,
release it to cast energy rings on the floor. Repeat until Dogman is stunned.
Next, equip any firearm you have and shoot Mander when you see him. When
they're both stunned, the level's over.

______________________________________________________________________________

6- Iron Slugger
  Difficulty : Hard
  Location : Iron Slugger

I'll have to fight him again before telling you how to beat him, so this
solution will be on the next version!

______________________________________________________________________________

7- The Count I
  Difficulty : Medium
  Location : The Count

Run through the arena and hit a mirror so that it is vertical. Stand still in
front of it, and wait for the Count to shoot an energy ball at you. Dodge it
and make sure that the ball hits the mirror. The Count will receive his ball in
the face and get hurt. Repeat it another time. Now the Count will attack
slightly differently. You'll have to hit the mirror a little more so that it
points towards the Count that is now floating in the air. When he'll shoot you,
the ball will be reflected in his face. Repeat. The windows break.

PREPARE FOR ANOTHER FIGHT!

______________________________________________________________________________

8- The Count II
  Difficulty : Hard
  Location : The Count

While avoiding the Count and bat attacks, hit the mirrors so that the light
reflects in the chandelier. Aim the four mirrors this way to burn the Count.
Repeat this another time and make him cry!

______________________________________________________________________________

9- Jack the Ripper
  Difficulty : Extreme
Location : Time Machine, the Ripper

This is HARD! Equip a good firearm in one slot and the Good lightning in the
other slot. Equip your firearm (I suggest the blunderbuss) and run, run, RUN!
Avoid the Ripper until he takes Kiya in hostage. Shoot the crap out of him
until he drops your love. Equip the good lightning and (RUNNING!) heal Kiya
when you come across her. When the Ripper hurts Kiya again, shoot him until he
drops her, heal Kiya and repeat until you kill the Ripper. Phew!
Beware, though, when you heal Kiya, it drains YOUR energy so be careful and
make sure you have many full life bottles!

______________________________________________________________________________

10- Dogman and Mander
   Difficulty : Easy
   Location : The Demon

This is very easy, since you fight them the exact same way you did in
Greenwich, and you have much more space to do it. So... Ctrl+C, Ctrl+V...

You'd better begin with fighting Dogman, as Mander is nearly untouchable. Equip
your hammer (hope you got it) and charge it up. When you come near Dogman,
release it to cast energy rings on the floor. Repeat until Dogman is killed.
Next, equip any firearm you have and shoot Mander when you see him.

NOTE : You can use your lightning if you want and still have some, it will make
the battle a bit easier. It works with both enemies, but it's easier to kill
Dogman with it. It takes about 25% of lightning to kill Dogman.

______________________________________________________________________________
11- Lord Palethorn
Difficulty : Very hard, but not as hard as the Ripper
   Location : The Demon

This battle is extremely technical, so here's a list of the attacks of the
Demon.

Hit the floor : This is the demon's most lethal attack.

-------------------------------   The demon will hit the floor in this order:
|     <-|F         F|->       |   ABC or CBA. When he attacks you this way,
|     <-|F         F|->       |   if he does ABC, get on B and when he hit A,
|   A <-|F    B    F|-> C     |   get on this section of the arena and wait
|     <-|F         F|->       |   for the demon to finish.
|     <-|F         F|->       |
|     <-|F         F|->       |
-------------------------------

Fire : The demon's fire attack is pretty easy to avoid. He'll shoot fire in the
middle of the arena (B on the plan), and it will spread (the F's on the plan
represent the fire) When the demon spits fire, jump in the middle of the arena
and you'll be safe.

Palethorn's attacks:

Machine gun : To avoid this, run in zigzags through the arena.
Rockets: Run through the arena to avoid them.

Fortesque attacks :

GATLING GUN! : If you don't have the gatling, you're almost doomed. When
Palethorn flies showing his ship's back at you, shoot him with the gatling gun.
Palethorn will lose control of his ship and shoot the Demon. The Demon will hit
the ship and damage it. Repeat three other times. It's over.

Other firearms : I suggest the flaming crossbow or crossbow. You beat Palethorn
the same way as with the Gatling, it's just a bit harder.

Note : If you got the gatling gun without cheating (10 chalices), you'll get
the "funny" ending. If you have less than 10 chalices, you'll get the "boring"
ending.
