it sad that there is no decent FAQ for it. Im assuming
you have played this game and understand
it. Therefor Im writing about the bones of the game
first. but please dont doubt the man who has
to much free time on his hands. Since i am the
greatest Master of Monsters player of all time
it would help you greatly to read this entire FAQ.
Enjoy.

DUMB THINGS ABOUT THIS GAME YOU SHOULD KNOW
Well for starters. The AI was better 10 years ago on
the original Master of Monsters.
The monsters in this game just walk in a straight line
towards your boss leaving the only fun
to be had in VS mode against a friend.
But i will give you all the tips to bash the computer
and get the strongest army.
Attacking: Well although the computer wont attack
unless cornered or you just happen to be
in the monsters path. Occasionally you will have to
fight. The computer will always give priority
in attacking from its left hex and continuing
clockwise. Unless your master is a choice of course
Moving: Always in a straight line and doesnt put much
thought into it. Also the monsters dont
aim for towers ( WTF!?!?!?) , So dont expect to be
outflanked.
Percent to hit: This has to be the poorest programming
Ive ever seen. Basically the % values mean
nothing. In the beginning of every "Turn" The computer
selects a number from 10 - 90 ...
Any % below this number misses , Anything above will
hit. This will continue until the rare
occasion that you miss when you should have hit. In
this instance nothing else will hit for the
rest of this turn ... Trust me ... Not even with 90% ,
You can attack wildly until it changes
back. Or just wait till the next turn.
Monster Duplication: Quite simple. Just use VS mode
and load two identical games. Select the
"Prize Monster" as the guy you wanna duplicate. Once
you win (doesnt matter which team) you save
and Ta Da! ... a duped monster. You can also use this
method to transfer an army to a relatively
new game , And send them through it again. (that takes
a while with a 30 monster army)
Tower Items: Well its true you can find items in the
towers. Unfortunately its as rare as a Golem.
But when it does happen quickly grab as many towers as
possible. Its the same as the attack %
When its working it works well. NOTE* your MUCH more
likely to get items the earlier in the game.
How to Make the Game Play Better?: Buy the original
for Sega Genesis.
ITEMS ITEMS ITEMS ITEMS
Ill only list the important items here.
Life seed/grass/water/fruit...- Raises a monsters
permanent HP permanently. Very useful.
Wisdon seed/fruit...- Raises a monsters INT
permanently. Great for magic users.
Wind Seed...- Raises the AG of one monster
permanently. I only wish it was common.
Magic/Star/Moonrings... Raises a monsters MP
permanently. Good for freshly evolved monsters who
had no need for MP before their evolution.
Gaia's Sword: Adds 25 damage to direct attacks of a
monster. Good for monsters using multiple
direct attacks such as an Octopus or a Wragnor.
Magic Arm: Doubles magic attack damage from a monster.
Power Arm: Doubles long range attack power from a
monster.
Strong Arm: Doubles direct attack power from a
monster.
Master's arm: Doubles direct , long range and magic
attack power for a single monster.
Magic Stone: Gives a single monster a lvl up. Good for
a quick evolution.
Gaia's Stone: Raises a monster 10 lvls!!!!! The rarest
of the rare.
Well , I think ive thrown enough information at you.
Anymore and id half to go into my strategy
and we cant have me ranting. If you have anything that
should be added to this FAQ.(fusions etc.)
