PART 1: INTRODUCTION

Knockout Kings is a boxer simulation game that has realistic polygon models.
Great graphics plus superior boxers make this a must in every gamer
library. There are three modes of play, Slugfest, Exhibition and Career.
Slugfest is toe-to-toe boxing wherein penalty shots are very legal.
Exhibition is 1 on 1 boxing and Career is fighting through the ranks.
You will be given the option to create your own boxer. You can fight as
the legendary Ali, Leonard, Holyfield, Lewis, de la Hoya, and 33 more
authentic boxers.

PART 2: MOVES

There are actually five classifications of moves in this game.

1. JABS-These are actually short punches that gives little damage. But they
are the most commonly used move.
2. UPPERCUT-This gives middle damage and is great in giving cuts to your
           opponent.
3. BODY SHOTS-These give middle damage and lessens your opponents stamina.
4. POWER SHOTS-You toggle power shots with the R2 button. It lessens your
stamina more quickly but gives high damage to your opponent.
5. PENALTY SHOTS-These gives high damage but must be used sparingly unless
you are in Slugfest or you want to be deducted/DQd

Some useful moves:

1. Low Blow: Hold R1 then press X
2. Kidney Punches: Hold R1 then press O or Square
3. Right/Left Hook: Hold R2 then press O
4. Cross: Hold R2 then press X
5. Combos: Hold R2 then press Square or Triangle
6. Big Body SHot: Hold R2 then press forward+X
7. Forward Punch: When a little bit far from opponent, hold R2 then press
                 any button, then forward immediately

PART 3: GENERAL STRATEGY

In Career mode, while you are still Rank 19, deliberately lose matches until
you get decent power, speed and stamina. Training provides those.

Generally there are two strategic ways to win a match.

1. METHODICAL WAY
-> This is the longer way of winning the match because you rely on points
to win. This is also quite boring but it is the surest way of winning.
HOW: At the start of the match, throw jabs that hit. When you are sure
that you land more punches than your opponent, RUN! Move out
of his range and keep dodging until the match ends.

2. KNOCKOUT WAY
-> This is for those who wants a knockout decision. It is shorter but
    more dangerous way.
HOW: At the first round, land two low blows( if you aren't caught by the
referee, keep low blowing your opponent but be sure your low blow
does not cause a knockout), two kidney punches and two headbutts.
Your opponents life should be less by now. Every time your opponent
punches you heavily, land a right hook. You must absorb those
punches. Just keep landing right hooks and sooner or later
there will be a knockout. Keep doing this until you win by TKO or
       an ordinary knockout.
