Hey people! Superjim here. And i'm here to walk you through
3DO's amazing game,
Army Men: Lock & Load. L&L is one of the many Army Men
games.. L&L's story is right
after Operation Meltdown. After enjoying two years of
peace, the Green plastic men have to
fight the Tan menace again. So let's get started!
This is my second Walkthrough.

Finished Knightfall at 2:39 PM. I'm doing vehicles RIGHT NOW. Tomorrow
I'll be going to my caravan with my mum, dad and little brother. The caravan
is not your average trailer trash, i'ts one of those caravans you go too
for a holiday. I will be back on the 5th of september. But I will be
starting again on the 6th. I will start Scorpion then. See you on the 6th!

Vehicles section and have done the walkthrough up to Scorpion 3. School's

F, Walkthrough
============================================================
The game is split up into five sections. Lion's den,
Knight fall, Scorpion, Pegasus and Poseidon. There are three
missions in each section. At the end of each section you
get promoted to a higher army rank. The missions get
harder as you go up. So without further ado, I present
to you my walkthrough. Enjoy it, i'ts free.

a, Lion's Den
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
After you have started a new game and entered your
last name, you will become Private whatever your last name
is. After the last war in Operation Meltdown, you have to go
back to the Tan capitol in a 'clean up' operation. Here's
the first mission.
######################
STREET SWEEPER
#####################
Objective: The objective here is to reinforce a green squad
that are trapped in the park. Watch out for snipers.
You start off with two green pals to help you. Run forward
down the road and your green buddies will follow you. Dive
behind the sandbag and kill the two tan men. Move forward,
get the Grenades and carry on. move round the corner and
dive behind cover. Use the Grenades to kill the two tan men.
Get the Medkit if needed. You will come to a corner with a
destroyed green tank. Kill the two tan men and go down the
long road and get into the tank.
At the other end of the park is a tan tank. If you're lucky,
he might not see you. Destroy it with your cannon. Kill the
Tan soldiers and move your gun up so you can shoot the two
snipers on the roof. Good work soldier. Mission complete.

ROOFTOP BATTLE
#####################
Objective: You need to fight along the rooftops and destroy
the tan tanks so the green convoy can pass through.
From the start, run forward and jump off the roof onto
another one. Get cover and kill the two tan. Get the Mortar
and run to the end of the roof. Destroy the tank with it
quickly or it will destroy the convoy. Shoot the men
too if you want. Follow the path and get cover so you can
kill the two tan men. When you have, get the mortar,
auto rifle and medkit if needed. Jump onto the red roof.
Shoot the two tan and get the Grenades. carry on forward and
shoot the three tan that jump out. Get the Mortar, Auto rifle
and Medkit if needed. destroy the tank below and proceed. go up
the stairs and kill the tan. Get the Auto rifle and destroy the
two tanks below quickly. Go forward and kill the three tan then
carry on and destroy the THREE tanks and your mission will be complete.
#####################
BUNKER ASSAULT
####################
Objective: Your objective is to clear out the underground
tan bunker.
You have two green soldiers to help you. As soon as the door
explodes, roll to the side. Because tan will be firing at you. Your
green mates will take care of them. Move forward and kill the two tan
men that come out. Dodge their fire by rolling. Get the medkit
if you need it and turn right. Go near the pipes and kill the tan man.
now you need to be careful because there is a Grenadier at the end
of the pipe. go into Combat Cam, (R1) and shoot him. Proceed into the
room with tables and kill the two tan standing at either side.
Take the first left and kill the unsuspecting tan go forward and another
will run forward. Kill him and get your green buddies to take out the two
machine gunners. When they have, take the second left and kill the tan
man that doesn't know you're there. So you could kind of call that a
stealth kill without using stealth! By God, i'm brilliant... Anyway,
moving on, move to where he was and kill a hiding tan man. Two machine
gunners will come out. If you still have two of your green buddies, or
one, then use them/him. If not, do it yourself.
Go into the room with the tan plans, and you will find out that it is
not just a clean up operation you are dealing with, but possibly another
world war.

b, Knightfall
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
You have now been promoted to PFC. In this operation you have to find
out what the tan are up to by going to their secret weapons lab. The lab is
well defended. Good luck soldier.

Cycle Run
###################
Objective: The green have sent you a motorcycle, you must break through
the tan defenses and find the back entrance to the tan weapons lab.
I'ts quite an easy mission, this one. You have five minutes to get to the
weapons lab. There's not much to say except if you can't kill the tan in
time, run over them! also remember to get the health boxes and the bazooka
boxes. If a jeep pops up in front of you. Use your bazooka to destroy it.
You will also come across massive boulders coming at you. You don't shoot
them, just dodge them. Also, near the end, there will be a helicopter flying
above you. It will hover, then land in front of you. destroy it and carry
on. you will eventually reach the lab with about two minutes left.

Cavern Destruction
#####################
Objective: You need to find and destroy the tan lab.
Use the shadows to hide from guards. from the start, there will be
a tan man in front of you. Dive into the shadows on your let and switch
to your Bayonet. Wait till he passes by and knife him in the back.
Kill the tan soldier and dive behind some rocks. wait for the two tan
soldiers to come out and shoot them too. After you have killed them,
a lone tan soldier will come out to avenge his little buddies. Shoot
him too and carry on. Hide behind the big, massive rock and shoot the
tan man. A total of FIVE tan soldiers now know you're there. they are
far away so they will probably miss you. Go into Combat Cam and shoot
them all. Get the Auto rifle and the medkit and carry on through the
cavern. Kill the tan guard quickly, then the three soldiers that come
out after that. Take the left path and you will end up in the weapons
lab. There are SIX tan soldiers here to kill. There is lots of cover so
don't worry. Leave one tan man alive because as soon as you kill them all,
about fifteen more soldiers will come out. Run past the surviving tan man
and shoot the barrels to release the rocket on wheels. It will crash into
the weapons. All the explosions will probably kill the tan man.There is a path
behind where the rocket was, so run like hell! Run as fast as you can there
and the mission will be complete!

Castle Attack
###################
Objective:
The tan have taken over an historic castle. You need to investigate.
Start by killing the two tan and crossing the bridge. Dive behind the log
and kill the two tan. Get the Auto Rifle and hide behind the tree as cover
from the two tan that come up. Now hide behind the rock and shoot the two tan
men so you can cross the bridge. Turn left and kill the two tan men and get
the auto rifle, do the same around the corner. Kill the three tan after this
and finally cross the bridge to the castle.
Turn right and go through the entrance. Quickly shoot the two tan men that
come out and carry on into the hedges. Kill the two machine gunners and
go through the door on the top right corner. Follow the path and kill the
two tan soldiers. Get the medkit if neede and carry on to the four pillars.
Use them as cover from the two machine gunners that come out. Shoot them
and proceed into the last room . Kill the four tan men and go up the stairs.
Go up to the tables, wardrobes and the blackboard with tan plans on it and
the mission will end.
You will find on the plans clues for the Scorpion mission 'tomb runner'.
You will now find that you are a Corporal.

c, Scorpion
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The clues you found have led you to the desert. You must fight your way
to the pyramid and find out what the tan are up to.

River Of Death
######################
Objective: The Green are depending on you to make their Desert campaign
work. Get to the river and find transportation.
So, start of by running forward and diving behind the rock. Two tan men
will come and hide behind two other rocks. Kill them both and get the auto
rifle. Kill the two tan up ahead with it and carry on. Go round the corner
and kill the tan man quickly. Grab the bazooka and fire it at the truck. Now
get into the Assault Raft.
As soon as you get in, turn left and destroy the upcoming PT boat. go
ahead and kill the two tan men on shore. Go up ahead and destroy the tower
along with the tan men that are up ahead. You will now come across a
bridge. Now you need to kill the men that come running along quickly
because one has a bazooka. Afterwards, destroy the tower and carry on.
Up ahead there are two PT boats, a tower and a health pack surrounded by
mines. Take them all out and shoot the mines to get the health. Now just
carry on forward and killing the boats. Don't stop either because they
will all be behind you. Eventually you will find two paths. They end up
in the same direction but take the left one because there is a health
pack. Now keep going through the river and your mission will be comlete.

TANK COMMAND
#####################
Objective: Fight your way through the tan defenses and get to the
pyramids.
This is a tank mission. From the start, turn right and swith to your
Twin 50. Kill the two tan that come and turn left. Swith to your
cannon and quickly shoot the tan tank with it. Carry on through the
two stone walls and kill the three tan men. One of them has a bazooka,
so you're treading on thin ice already. The riflemen won't do anything
to you but i'ts fun killing them. So when you're done with them,
destroy the tank up ahead. Kill them both and the tank up ahead. Get
the health box and carry on through killing the two tan soldiers
and the faraway tan tank.
Now this next bit is the really, really difficult part of this
level. Proceed forward and destroy the tank that comes over the itty,
bitty little hill. Destroy it very quickly. There is also one
rifleman and one bazooka man behind the tank. Make sure the bazooka
man is ridden with bullets and carry on, ignoring the rifleman as he
won't do anything to you. There will be a hill to cover your tank.
Destroy the tan tank that comes and reverse. Now this next part you
will have to do very, very quickly if you want to avoid being a hump
of metal on the floor. Look at the massive hill in front of you. There
is a sneaky tank behind it. Go up to it and blow it up. Now turn
around fast and shoot the tank. and the one behind it too. Turn right
and you will come to a right path where a tank will come out. Destroy
it quickly. Up ahead there ae two final tanks and a grey rocket
tower. Destroy the towor first and use any of the cover available.
Now go to the end and you will get out of your tank.
I'ts not over yet! Get the Grenades and dive behind the cover and
use them to kill the three tan. Now go to the Pyramid entrance.
Mission complete.
##########################
Tomb Runner
#########################
Objective: Remember the clues from the castle fortress and get
through the traps.
Ok. This is quite a tricky level. I'll be drawing maps for each trap
and i'll be writing the clues too.
1st trap
Clue: Between the serpents you must go, but the tempo you pass must be
slow and low.
LEGEND:
S = Serpent heads
The first part of the clue says: 'Between the serpents you must go.'
So you have to go past them. Although the second part says: 'But the
tempo must be slow and low.' So dive down and crawl under the snake
heads to the end, avoiding the fire coming out of their mouths.

Now go through the wall and kill the two soldiers. Get the
auto rifle and the health. Here's Trap number 2!
2nd Trap
Clue: The writings on the wall will show their way, follow
their lead and you'll win the day.

START
Just follow the good spaces. Sometimes you will have to go
around pillars. Kill the two tan soldiers and move onto Trap 3!
3rd Trap
Clue: Their mouths should be closed so you can get by. Look to
the floor, where the symbols lie.
LEGEND:
B = Beetle sign.
E = Eye sign.
F = Face sign.
R = Relic sign.
BL = Beetle lion.
RL = Relic lion.
FL = Face lion.
EL = Eye lion.
P = The path.

To get past. All four mouths of the lions should be closed. Above
is the path. You've completed all the traps!
Now carry on and kill the two machine guners either side. Now go
into the big room and kill every tan man. Go to the end and find
out what the tan are up to.

d, Pegasus
---------------------
Congrats! you're a sergeant!This operation needs you to go to the
greek temple and find out more about the tan's plans.

NIGHT STRIKE
####################
Objective: Stay alive until you get to the temple.
This is a plane mission so you basicly need to watch out. Shoot
any that come close to you, using the guns above and below the
plane. You'll get paradropped at the temple when you're done.
Now go up the path and get the auto rifle to kill the tan
that come. Keep on going forward and kill the other 3 tan that
come. Go up the path and look at the plans about an underground
supply route to an ancient island and go back. Go on the beach
and two green guys will get paradrop to help you. Get on the
Assault raft. Mission complete.

HIT AND RUN
#####################
Objective: Take out the communication tower while your men
make a diversion at the front gate.
From the start, go up the path and kill the two soldiers.
Get the auto rifle and the grenades and walk up the sandy path
and kill the two soldiers running at you. Kill everybody here
and get the explosives and blow up the tower. Get into the
truck and just follow the path, crashing into everybody.
Eventually you will go through the gates. Mission complete.

CHAMELEON
###################
Objective: Take out the tan missiles.
Go up to the paint and roll in it. You are now disguised.
Don't fire your rifle and don't get too close to tan. Now get
the explosives and go around the corner and behind the army
buildng. Get out your bayonet and stab him. Now get the auto
rifle. Go around the corner and wait for the tan man to move.
And go forward. Stab the tan man with his back to you. Move
on and wait for the tan man to move. Go forward and turn left
and you will find the three missiles. There are 3 guards to
each missile. Wait till they turn the backs and stab them.
Now go to 1st missile and put an explosive there. You have a
30 second timer to place the other two. When you have, wait
for the missiles to blow up. You will find that there is a
mobile missile that needs taking out immediatly. So go to the
end and get on the motorcycle. Take out all the jeeps and the
missile with a bazooka. Mission Complete.

e, Poseidon
-----------------
You are now a Leutenant. In this operation you have been sent
to finally destroy the tan threat. Good luck soldier.
##################
SECRET BASE
##################
Objective: the tan have taken a green sub. Get it back.
From the start, Run up the path and kill the two tan. Get their
auto rifle and health pack. Now carry on through the path and
dive behind the barrels to get cover from the two tan me. Kill
them both and get the items. On the next part, dive behind the
metal boxes and kill the three tan men before you get the bazooka
next behind you. Carry on and stop at the corner. Now shoot the
first two tan men before you dive down to get the health. Kill
the third too. Now go forward and there will be a large group
of guards guarding the sub. Use all your skill to take them all
out. Get into the sub.
The sub will move on it's own. So just shoot all the tan men and
your mission will be complete.

SUB CHASE
##################
Objective: Destroy the tan sub before it gets out of range.
The main thing here is: Shoot anything that shoots you. You will
have to destroy mines, subs and towers so you need to watch out.
Dodge torpedos by moving up and down. And destroy that sub! Not
much more I can say. When you have destroyed the sub, move on to
the LAST level.

ANCIENT MENACE
###################
Objective: You've found the tan stronghold. Now destroy the
missile.
You start off as a sub on the surface. Kill all the tan men
and the boats. You will automatticly get off.
Kill the three men that completely don't know you're there
and kill the two tan men up ahead that do. The men on this
part always come in two. So basicly, kill them all! get on the
Assault Raft and take out all the PT boats and the tan men.
Get to the end and get off.
You have to destroy the Power Conduits to stop the rocket.
You need to go round. Go around the corner and kill the lone
machine gunner and carry on. Now go up ahead and shoot the
two tan men that come running at you. Procced and hide behind
the pillar, away from the machine gunners. Kill them quickly
and carry on to the next two tan who want a bullet to their
head. Kill the 6 tan men. (they come out in pairs as you go
on) Now you have to shoot the three tan men tht are guarding
the way to the rocket. Dive behind the little rocks and shoot
them all. Now go up the bridge and shoot all the tan men
guarding the rocket. When you have, pick up the bazooka and
shoot each power conduit. You've now completed the mission
and the game!

Weapon: Large Cannon and Small machine gun.
Damage: Heavy (Large Cannon),Slight (Gun).
Defence: Heavy Armour.
Submarine
Weapon: Torpedo.
Damage: Severe.
Defence: Moderate Armour.
Motorcycle
Weapon: Front Twin .50 Cal.
Damage: Slight.
Defence: Light Armour.
Cargo Truck
Weapon: The truck can run into enemy soldiers.
Damage: Severe damage through collision.
Defence: Moderate Armour.
Assault Raft
Weapon: Front Twin .50 Cal.
Damage: Slight damage per round.
