Final Fantasy V
Walkthrough (version 1.00)

Based on: SFC, NTSC-J version (SHVC-F5)

- DON'T EVER RUN AWAY FROM BATTLES!
- You can pause the game during battle. This pauses the play time counter
as well.
- There are 22 different classes in the game. Most classes have one free
slot for abilities you've learned. You'll have nearly all of the classes
obtained before the end of World 1.
- Sadly, there's no way to prevent the game from messing with your gear
when all you do is change an ability. The game will automatically either
unequip everything or equip the strongest equipment available.
- Critical hits deal double damage and ignore DFP. Only fists and katanas
can deal critical hits, though (this is apparently intentional).
- There are 8 elements: Fire (F), Ice (I), Thunder (T), Water (W), Wind (N),
Earth (E), Poison (P) and Holy (H).
- Unlike in FFIV, spells don't have a casting time.
- Queued actions can still occur out of order.
- Each map area has at most 4 different encounters.
- If you're curious about the inner workings of the game, you should have
a look at the algorithm guide found on GameFAQs.
- If you want to translate any of the Japanese words, just punch it into
jisho.org.
- Healing items:

  Hi-Potion    | 500 HP
  Ether        |  40 MP

Phoenix no O | Revive with 25% HP

Katami no Fukuro (Temp). Your default class is Suppin.

Default (Lenna): Knife (Unique), Kawa no Fuku
Default (Galuf): Kawa no Fuku
PCs: Lenna Lv1, Galuf Lv1

                                               \\\ Kaizoku no Agito ||
Items: Kawa no Boushi, Tent, Ether, 300 gil
Item (nc): Pendant B (Key)
Blue: Kyuuketsu (Steel Bat)
Default (Faris): Dagger, Kawa no Tate, Kawa no Fuku
PC: Faris Lv3
- DON'T EVER RUN AWAY FROM BATTLES! The strongest weapon in the game
loses 1 point of ATP every time you run away.
- Once you reach the pirate hideout, go examine the wheel of the ship.
Eventually, you'll have control of the ship, and Faris will join you
as the fourth and final party member (kind of, not really).
- Given that you're stuck in inland waters, there's not much you can
do with the ship. Whatever you do, don't go wandering around the eastern
areas near the canal. Those Bandersnatches will slaughter you.

                                               \\\ Tule ||
Items: Ether, 100 gil, Kawa no Kutsu (trap)
Items (nc): Tent, Phoenix no O, Potion, 150 gil, Tent, Potion,
Phoenix no O, Kawa no Kutsu
Special: Piano 1
Shop:
Broad Sword            280 gil         Fire                    150 gil
Rod                    200 gil         Blizzard                150 gil
Tsue                   200 gil         Thunder                 150 gil

Kawa no Boushi          50 gil         Poisona                  90 gil
Kawa no Tate            90 gil

Potion                  40 gil
Tent                   250 gil

- The chest on the second floor of the Beginner's House is a
monster-in-a-box; you'll have to fight SEPHIROTH for a Kawa no Kutsu.
- Examine the piano at the pub after getting some "service" from the
dancers (sit on the chair right next to the stage). If you practice
with every piano in the world, you'll learn two new skills for one of
your classes.
- Nc items are items that are obtained on the field through means other
than examining treasure chests.
- You don't really need to pick up too much new gear (from the shops,
that is). One Broad Sword would be enough. You'll find one more in the
Wind Shrine, and Faris will do fine with her Dagger.

                                               \\\ Kaze no Shinden ||
Items: Tent, Kawa no Boushi, Broad Sword, Tsue
Items (nc): 5x Potions
Blue: Goblin Punch (Black Goblin), Aero (Mold Wind)
Special: Class Unlock 1 (Knight, Monk, Thief, Shiromadoushi, Kuromadoushi,
Aomadoushi)
Boss: Wing Raptor
- DO NOT RUN AWAY FROM BATTLES!

[Boss]
- 250 HP
- Bosses in FFV don't give you any Experience or Gil, by the way (with
a few slight exceptions).
- Breath Wing deals proportional damage (25% mHP) (one of the three
'quarter specials').

- After the event in the crystal room, you'll have access to the first
6 classes: Knight, Monk, Thief, White Mage, Black Mage and Blue Mage.
- You can use the teleporter in the crystal room to get outside, but,
if you walk, you can pick up Aero and Goblin Punch on your way (you
can get Goblin Punch from the regular Goblins as well). Keep in mind,
the message that tells you that you learned a new skill won't be displayed
until the end of the battle, and the skill won't show up on your list
until after the battle. Also, keep in mind that Blue Magic spells are
shared, so you don't have to learn them individually for each character
(unlike in other installments).

- Get Blue Mage to Lv2, so you'll get the Learning Auto-Ability
(allowing you to pick up enemy skills without having Blue Mages), and
White Mage to Lv1, so you can cast healing spells without actually
having a White Mage. Keep leveling up the White Mage as you gain new
useful spells (each line represents one level).
- The Suppin automatically inherits the innate Auto-Abilities once
the character masters a specific class. Of course, seeing as most
battles give you only 1 AP early in the game, you probably won't have
more than 1 mastered class by the end of World 1. Either way, the
Suppin becomes the best physical class once you've mastered the Monk,
Ninja and Karyuudo. I'd consider these your highest priority.
- The Knight's Ryoutemochi allows you to double your ATP, but it's of no
use to Monks, Ninjas, or Karyuudos, as it only works with swords and axes.
- Do *not* try to use the Thief's Lv2 Command Ability Tonzura (Flee)!

Item (nc): Unga no Kagi (Key, Temp)             \\\ Tule Mura ||
- Go see the guy in the north-most building to get the key for the canal.

Items (nc): 8x Potions                          \\\ Kaizoku no Agito ||
- You can get 8 Potions from one of the pirates now. And don't forget
about Kyuuketsu.

Party: Lv9                                      \\\ Torna Unga ||
Boss: Karlabos
- Make sure you've got everything you need from the previous areas
before proceeding. It'll be a short while before you can get back.

[Boss]
- 650 HP, 5 AP

Items: Flail, Tent, Phoenix no O, Potion, Dokukeshi, Dokukeshi,

Lost & Found: Bronze Armor (Siren)
Boss: Siren
- You'll start off at full health, but if you need to, you can rest
below deck.
- In order to reach the chest with the Flail, you'll need to stand
still on the rock next to your ship for a couple of seconds.

[Boss]
- 900 HP, 5 AP, Bronze Armor

Item (nc): Mythril Helm
Theft: Ginbuchi Megane (Bloxx)
Blue: Flash (Bloxx), Aero (Magisa)
Boss(es): Magisa (& Forza)
- DO NOT RUN AWAY FROM BATTLES!
- The Ginbuchi Megane has the same stats as the Kawa no Kutsu but
also grants immunity to Kurayami (Blind / Darkness).
- Unfortunately, the Bloxx don't have enough MP to cast Flash, so the
only way to learn it here is to use an Ether on one of them. I wouldn't
recommend that. You can just pick it up later from someone else.
- Don't step on the plants you see. Otherwise your entire party will
get poisoned.

[Boss]
- 650 HP, 850 HP (Forza), 6 AP, Muchi
- It's possible to kill Magisa before she calls Forza into the battle.
You'd still gain 6 AP, so you'd only miss on the Chikara no Kusuri
that Forza drops (that item doesn't even work, by the way).

- After the event at the top, you'll be able to fly around using Hiryuu.
- If you feel like getting some Abilities, the triple Bandersantch
encounter near the canal gives you 3 AP (fairly common).
- Fly past the Tycoon meteor to reach Tycoon Castle.

                                               \\\ Tycoon Jou ||
Items: Cottage, Cottage, Shuriken, Ashura, Giyaman no Kane
Items (nc): Hi-Potion, Ether, Elixir, Phoenix no O, Otome no Kiss,
Ether, Cottage, Phoenix no O, Elixir, Iyashi no Tsue
- There's a hidden path in the courtyard that takes you to the east
tower where two of the Cottages are (Thieves can't pick it up).
- The Iyashi no Tsue is given to you by the chancellor when you talk
to him in the treasure room.

Items (nc): Tent, 490 gil, Phoenix Down         \\\ Worus Jou ||
Theft: Mythril Sword (Ice Soldier)
Blue: Kaeru no Uta (Elf Toad)
- DO NOT LET IPPIKI OOKAMI OUT OF HIS CELL! If you do, he'll proceed to
liberate the contents of a couple of specific treasure containers around
the world.
- STAY AWAY FROM THE BASEMENT! There are a few items there (not listed
yet), but before you can reach them, you'll get ambushed by Garkimasera,
who will then proceed to slaughter your entire party. Because of his
incredibly high Defense and Evade, your characters can only damage him
with critical hits. RUNNING AWAY IS NOT AN OPTION. You *might* get lucky
and win, but then you'll just run into him again. Just stay away for now.
- You can reach the castle's water tower by going through the waterfall
behind the castle. I suggest you head there to steal a couple of Mythril
Swords and to learn Kaeru no Uta. You definitely should *not* try and
fight Shiva, though. You'll have to come back for her later.
- After seeing the king, fly northwest to Worus Tower.

                                               \\\ Worus no Tou ||
Items: Silk no Robe, Otome no Kiss, Gin no Udewa, Ether
Theft: Mythril Sword (Ice Soldier), Mythril Knife (Wyvern)
Blue: Kaeru no Uta (Elf Toad)
Special: Class Unlock 2 (Berserker, Mahou Kenshi, Tokimadoushi,
Akamadoushi, Shoukanshi)
Boss: Galura
- The tower will sink into the ocean after taking down the boss, so
try not to miss anything.
- The only Save Point is on the 5th floor, while the boss is on the 10th.

[Boss]
- 1200 HP, 5 AP
- Kaeru no Uta works, but he'll quickly turn himself back by casting
Toad on himself. You'd have to cast it repeatedly with two characters
to keep him at bay.

- 5 new classes: Berserker, Mahou Kenshi, Time Wizard, Red Mage and Summoner.

Lost & Found: Kame no Koura (Grass Tortoise)    \\\ Karnak Region ||
Blue: ???? (Wild Nak)
- The teleporter inside the Worus meteor will take you to the Karnak Meteor.
- The Naks can be found in the forests. For some reason, no title is
displayed when they use ????. It's got a more powerful sound than their
normal attack, although it'll probably do only 0 pod (if they're still
at full health).
- The damage you deal with ???? equals the caster's max HP - current HP.

- Head to the town of Karnak. Once there, try to buy something from the
weapon or armor shop, and you'll be taken into custody. You'll then find
yourself in the castle dungeon.

                                               \\\ Karnak Jou ||
- While you're in your cell, just wait for a while until you meet Cid.
- You'll eventually be freed (no trials or dragon tanks involved). You
can't fully explore the castle yet nor can you get any of the items.
After the next dungeon, you'll have 10 minutes to escape from the
castle while grabbing as many items as you can (or care to). Seeing
as most of the chests are trapped, it won't be that easy.

- The elemental rods will increase the damage of spells of that element
by 50%. You can still use them to cast spells, but this time they'll be
destroyed in the process.

                                               \\\ Karyokusen ||
Items: Mythril no Kote, Elixir, Cottage, Elixir, Phoenix no O,
Green Beret, Touzoku no Kote (Artifact), Engetsurin, Elixir
Theft: Ether (Motor Trap), Hi-Potion (Poltergeist)
Lost & Found: Honoo no Yumiya (Liquid Flame - Tornado)
Blue: Flash (Crew Dust), Jibaku (Motor Trap)
Boss: Liquid Flame
- If all of your characters are leveling up pretty much at the same
time, I suggest you fight a bunch of battles with one of them dead.
This will help you with a Blue Magic spell we'll be picking up soon.
- Crew Dust will start using Flash once it's the only enemy left.
- Motor Traps will use Jibaku when you hit them with Thunder. It has
to survive it, though, so use a Blue Mage with Kuromahou Lx but not
as Lenna. A Black Mage will just kill it.
- The Touzoku no Kote increases your chances of successfully stealing
an item. Do *not* miss it. There's a good chance this is the only one
you'll ever get your hands on. (The Artifact tag means the item is only
available in limited numbers. If there's only one, then it's Unique.)

[Boss]
- 3000 HP (each), 6 AP + Honoo no Yumiya / Katon no Jutsu / Honoo no Rod
- The boss can change between three different forms, and the item he
drops depends on which form he's using when you kill him. I suggest
you try and get the Honoo no Yumiya by killing him in his tornado form.
The two alternatives are not very impressive; a Katon no Jutsu from
the man-like form or a Honoo no Rod from the giant hand. Unfortunately,
he doesn't seem to change his form unless you attack him, so there's a
fair chance you'll kill him in the wrong form. Might take a couple of
resets before you get lucky. If it seems like too much trouble (you can
buy that bow later for 2500 gil), just forget it and save your effort
for the next part where you'll really need it.
- The man form counters with Honoo, which deals proportional damage
(25% mHP).

- After the battle, I suggest you form a party with 3 characters capable
of learning Blue Magic. I'd also recommend a Thief with White Magic.

                                               \\\ Karnak Jou ||
Items: 2000 gil, Elixir (trap), Ribbon (trap), Shuriken (trap),
2000 gil, Elf no Manto (trap), Elixir (trap), Elixir (trap),
Elixir (trap), Elixir (trap), Elixir (trap), 2000 gil,
Main Gauche (trap), Esuna (spell)(trap), Raijin no Jutsu (trap)
Theft: Mage Masher / Daichi no Koromo (Sorcerer), Elixir (Gigas)
Blue: Aero (Gigas), Aera (Gigas), Death Claw (Iron Claw)
Special: Class Unlock 3 (Majuutsukai, Fuusuishi, Ninja)
Boss: Iron Claw
- You'll start off at a Save Point. Use it immediately.
- You have 10 minutes to run away to escape from the castle before it
blows up and takes you with it. Fairly easy to do if you just head
straight out, but with so many nice items lying around, you shouldn't
do that. Just keep refining your route and performance until you can
get all 15 chests and the two new Blue Magic spells within the time
limit (or at least the chests). There's a little luck involved too,
but I'm sure you can pull it off.
- You'll run automatically during this entire event.
- Unlike most other trapped chests in the game, these ones do *not*
have fixed enemies.
- If you're going for all the items, learning Aera shouldn't be too
hard, so don't waste an entire minute in a single Gigas encounter. You
can easily pick it up in the next dungeon, so it's not really a big
deal if you miss it.
- No need to try and score a Daichi no Koromo. You've already got
enough stuff to do here. And the Mage Masher isn't really worth using
because of the constant muting.
- You'll encounter the boss at the castle gate. Switch your Thief to
something that can learn Blue Magic before you trigger the battle.

[Boss]
- The battle starts off with you fighting the usual group of 3 Karnaks
and a Gunsou. Once you take out the doggies, the Gunsou will transform
into the Iron Claw.
- Iron Claw doesn't have that much HP (900), so only attack him a couple
of times, then start waiting for Death Claw. It's not *that* big of a
deal if you miss it (you can easily learn it in W2). There are a couple
of W1 bosses that are vulnerable to it, but I'm sure you can beat them
even without it. Either way, you probably won't be using it too much.

- You'll obtain 3 new classes: Majuutsukai, Fuusuishi (Feng Shui Master),
and Ninja.
- Once I've mastered the Monk, I switch to Ninjas.
- Do *not* try to use the Ninja's Lv1 Command Ability, Kemuridama! It's
the same as the Thief's Tonzura, which makes you flee from battle.
- The Elf no Manto gives you a small chance to evade physical attacks
(doesn't actually show in your evade stat, though). Same goes for the
Main Gauche.

Blue: Missile (Motor Trap - Control)            \\\ Karyokusen ||
- Once you have the Majuutsukai's Lv2 Command Ability, Ayatsuru (60 AP
in total), you can use it to pick up Missile here. If you're not even
close to a level divisible by 5, you should get it now.

Item (nc): Honoo no Rod                         \\\ Karnak ||
Shop:
Mythril Spear           790 gil
Kunai                   600 gil
Muchi                  1100 gil
Giyaman no Kane         500 gil

- Head for the Ancient Library, but STAY AWAY FROM THE DESERT! The
desert is home to the Dohlm Chimera, an enemy you are probably no
match for at this stage. And I don't need to remind you not to run
away from battles.
- If you're at or very near Level 20 (or any other level divisible by
5), head straight to the Ancient Library, so you can learn Lv5 Death.
Otherwise, you could try and pick up some Javelins first.

Blue: Yuugou (Mythril Dragon - Control)         \\\ Karnak Region ||
- You can find Mythril Dragons in the forest surrounding the library.
Control isn't completely necessary here, as they might also use Yuugou
if you confuse them.
- Yuugou heals the target while sacrificing the user.

Theft: Javelin (Sand Bear)                      \\\ Ryuusa no Sabaku ||
- The Javelin is the strongest weapon you can find for a while (55 ATP).
You could do some serious damage with a pair of those. Of course,
that requires a Suppin with a mastered Ninja... But still, you should
get a few of those. It's a rare steal, so you'll want to use a group
of four Thieves and increase the battle speed. The Sand Bear hits
pretty hard, so turn it into a frog to make things mostly painless
(you'll still take damage from Migiude's bleeding effect, though).

Party: Lv22                                     \\\ Kodai Toshokan ||
Items: Ether, Shinobi no Koromo, Phoenix no O
Theft: Potion / Green Beret (Page 32), Ether (Page 128),
Hi-Potion / Shinobi no Koromo (Page 256)
Blue: Aera (Page 32), Lv5 Death (Page 64), Tsuki no Fue (Page 256),
Guard Off (Page 256 - Control), Magic Hammer (Byblos)
Special: Ifrit Summon
Bosses: Ifrit, Byblos
- I strongly recommend you learn Lv5 Death at this point. You need to
take effect from the spell in order to learn it, so level up until at
least one but no more than three of your characters are at a level
divisible by 5 (such as 20). If all your characters have very similar Exp
values, you'll want to kill one of them for a while to create a small gap.
- Once you're prepared, head for the library's rooftop, where you can
trigger a fixed encounter with one of those demonic books. Take out
Page 32, and Page 64 will pop up. Shouldn't take long before he uses
Lv5 Death.
- Once you've learned it, go level up for a while, so you don't have
to worry about getting hit with it again while you're actually going
through the dungeon.
- Defeating a Page with a counter prevents it from switching, which will
end the battle right then while still giving the same unimpressive amount
of points (the ones that switch out aren't considered to have been killed).
- You can find Ifrit pretty early in the dungeon in a little room with
a book.

[Boss]
- 3000 HP, 5 AP

- You'll fight Byblos soon after the Save Point.

[Boss]
- 3600 HP, W:F, A:ITN, 7 AP
- Try to learn Magic Hammer here (halves MP).
- He's got high evade and uses Protect on himself.
- Death Claw works, as does Missile.

                                               \\\ Karnak ||
- Go see Cid on the second floor of the tavern, then head to the
Karyokusen. After a couple of scenes, you'll have control of the ship,
allowing you to explore a few new places. You'll lose the ship when
you go to the town of Crescent, but you'll quickly find something to
replace it.
- You will now encounter battles while traveling on water. Of particular
note is the Corvette. They've got 2800 HP, hit fairly hard and also use
Breath Wing. Death Claw and Missile work.
- The Sea Avises are also pretty annoying because of their high evade.
You can use Remora to bring down their evade, but if there are 3 of

   a              iC
    b           h
       c  defg

× Forests on b and h (and i)
× Prototypes on cdefg

- Islands a and b are basically still part of the Jacole region. You'll
find Bombs and Double Lizards there (you can actually encounter Tycoon
region battles on the very southern part of island b).
- Islands c, d, e, f and g are home to the Prototypes. DO NOT SET FOOT
ON THESE ISLANDS! These things are quite dangerous (with 5000 HP), and
pretty much the only way to kill them is to control them and have them
explode on themselves.
- That leaves us with h to m. These are all okay. You'll find Crescents
on h and i. Black Flames seem to be the only thing you'll encounter on
islands j to m and the southern half of h. They come in groups of 5,
are not that hard to kill and are worth 362 xp, 870 gil and 3 AP.

Kaeru no Uta (Archaeo Toad), Lv4 Graviga (Hydra)

Special: Class Unlock 5 (Samurai, Ryuukishi, Kusurishi, Odoriko)
Bosses: Sol Cannon (+ 2x Launchers), Archaeo Avis (5 forms)

- There are four semi-fixed encounters here in the form of four sets
of artillery cannons. Each of these battles will consist of either
two Kaenhous or two Rocket Hous. After destroying these, the Sol Cannon
will appear.

[Boss]
- 12 500 HP (Sol Cannon), W:T, 800 HP (Launcher), 7 AP
- The Sol Cannon will slowly power up for the Hadouhou, which deals
proportional damage (50% mHP) and inflicts Bleed. You're going to have a
hard time surviving that with the Launchers constantly halving your cHP
and inflicting Old. The effects of Old stack, by the way, thus eventually
rendering a character worthless. For some reason, Esuna removes the
cosmetic effects of Old but nothing else.
- Take out the Launchers as quickly as possible with either Lv5 Death
or some strong physical attacks. Otherwise, you are fu*ked.
- The default target is the Sol Cannon. To target the Launchers, press left.
- Since you're only taking proportional damage and Bleeding damage, forget
about wearing armor unless it gives you a useful stat boost (eg. Kenpougi).

- You will no longer have access to this dungeon once you complete the
events here.
- There doesn't seem to be any hidden paths that take you through walls
here. Just those invisible paths a la The Last Crusade.
- White Wind (28 MP) heals the entire party for an amount that equals
the caster's current HP.
- Harisenbon (25 MP) aka 1000 Needles always deals exactly 1000 pod.
- You can reach the first Save Point by taking the stairs near the
chest with the Phoenix Down on B3.
- If you want Lamia no Tiaras (immune to Confuse), the best place to
find Lamias is in the little symmetrical room on B4, the one that looks
like a sideways hourglass. Getting one could take up to an hour if
you're not lucky.
- The second Save Point is quite close to the boss.
- Pick up Lv4 Graviga in the very last area. Hydras use it as a final
attack, so just hit them with Missile and finish them off.

[Boss]
- 1st: Lv21, 1600 HP, 30 DFP, W:N  | 10 AP
- 2nd: Lv19, 1600 HP, Missile works

- 4th: Lv24: 1600 HP, uses Inazuma, Missile works
- 5th: Lv20, 2500 HP, uses quarter specials and Maelstrom
- The first 3 form changes have no visual effect, but there is a slight
pause in action.

- Galuf will leave the party after the event in the crystal room
(returns at the beginning of World 2). He'll take his gear with him.
- You'll obtain 4 new classes: Samurai, Ryuukishi, Kusurishi, Odoriko.
- Mastering the Samurai is also one of your top priorities.

magic on them without killing them, they'll, er... You know what? I'm
not going to spoil it. Try it out. Just save the game first.
- When you reach the long series of skull switches, simply wait for a
while to see the one you need to hit.

- Mahouken Break allows you to instantly kill some enemies that Iainuki
doesn't work on.
- The Return spell resets the battle. It makes scoring those rare steals
pretty easy (as opposed to potentially very aggravating). It costs 1 MP,
but since it resets MP, it doesn't really cost anything. It even resets
the play time counter (which isn't really a good thing).
- If you talk to the little girl at the armory after taking the hidden
passage, she'll mention that her Ribbon is missing. Don't try to look
for it, as you can't find it.

Boss: nx (Shield Dragon)                        \\\ Fuuinjou Kuzar ||
- South of Rugor is the Fuuinjou Kuzar. There's nothing you can do
there other than fight the powerful Shield Dragon. Pretty much the only
way to kill them is to manipulate them and have them use Honoo on
themselves 4 or 5 times (after 4, you can finish them off with a normal
attack using a weapon with an ATP over 40). Each one gives you 10 000 xp,
1000 gil and 5 AP (tied with the Tetsukyojin for the highest Exp from a
single enemy). You could certainly grab a few levels here. Stay in the
back row and equip any Lamia no Tiaras you have. I get Time Mage to Lv4
and Kusurishi to Lv2.

- Try using a Phoenix Down. Missile works, too.

- Once you're back up, make your way to the Moogle Village while
preferably avoiding the desert. In the desert, you'll encounter the
Sand Crawler, who has 15 000 HP and uses Maelstrom. Aqua Breath takes
them out easily, but you may want to save your MP.

- Talk to the moogle you saved near the tree house east. Talk to it
again once inside the stash.
- In order to get the Elf no Manto, you'll have to talk to the nearby
moogle while wearing the moogle suit.
- Once you have that, head back to the tree house with the stash, and
the moogle should now be in front of the tree. Talk to it to trigger
the next scene, after which you'll end up in Bal Castle.

get back in. Not for a while.
- You can buy the same stuff here as you could in Rugor with the addition
of the Gauntlet.
- You can find the Great Sword at the other end of the moat.
- There's good AP and gil in the basement, but the Exp is really bad,
so I wouldn't consider it optimal. But if you're really itching for
those killer abilities, then go right ahead. Stay in the back row and
use Lv5 Death. The Sekizous mostly come in groups of 2 (200 xp, 1014
gil, 4 AP), sometimes 5 (500 xp, 2535 gil, 8 AP).
- Even if you're not grinding for AP, you should probably get some Twin
Lancers (61 ATP, 2 hits, equipped by Thieves and Ninjas). Thanks to
Return, you can get 8 of them in a reasonable amount of time.

Blue: Kaeru no Uta (Cornago)                    \\\ Bal Region ||
- Catch a Cornago using the Majuutsukai's Toraeru CA. They have 1000 HP
and you need to bring them below 125 in order to pull it off. They'll
always run away once they hit these figures, so it could take a few

- The Hayate no Yumiya is fairly powerful. If you want them, get them
in the area with the rope bridge. Don't forget to max out battle and
message speed.
- You'll eventually come to an area with bones littered about. Examine
them to find the Bone Mail, a powerful suit of armor that makes the wearer
Undead, which has its advantages and disadvantages. I suggest you don't
use it unless you know exactly what you're doing.
- Hang around in the same area until you encounter Golem being attacked
by a Bone Dragon and a Dragon Zombie. Kill the two dragons, and Golem
will join your Pocket Summons team.
- There's a hidden hole on the ground in the cave with the sealed door.
- The boss is not far from the Save Point.

- The three books you can pick up at the library are: Kindan no Sho,
Mamono Daijiten and Lonka no Himitsu. Return them to their appropriate
shelves and the librarian will open up a secret passage for you.
- The forest near the castle is a good place to build up. The most common

unlike the one you saw in World 1. The above enemies can be found in
the forests. You'll have to use some Ether if you're going to pick
any Blue Magic, as those two enemies have 0 MP.

- (Found near the coastline east of Exdeath's castle)
- Go sleep below deck and the fleet will get attacked. Make sure
someone in your party has Nusumu before confronting Gilgamesh.

[Boss]
- 8888 HP (Gilgamesh), 4000 HP (Enkidou)
- The Genji no Kote is a regular steal, so a single character with
Steal is all you need.
- Once Gilgamesh has taken some damage, Enkidou will drop in and heal
him with White Wind. Enkidou can be killed with Iainuki.

- Once the situation's under control, find Zeza below deck and help
him move the crates to reach the sub.

                                               \\\ Barrier no Tou ||

Blue: Flash (Neon), Time Slip (Traveler [C]), Lv4 Graviga (Level Tricker)
Bosses: 0/1/2x Red Dragon, (0/1/2x)2x Yellow Dragons, Atomos
- You will no longer have access to this dungeon once you complete the
events here.
- You can rest at the sub, and if you examine the wheel, Zeza will take
you back.
- Using metallic equipment seems to result in an accuracy penalty here.
- You'll immediately find the first Save Point on the 2nd floor.
- There are two trapped chests here; one one the 3rd floor and one on
9F. The enemy you'll fight is either a Red Dragon (7500) or two Yellow
Dragons (8500 HP)(I'll count them as bosses).
- The Blood Sword is powerful but inaccurate.
- The Kin no Kamikazari doesn't have much defense but halves the MP
consumption of spells (only during battles, however).
- You *cannot* learn Lv3 Flare from the Red Dragon. You can cast it by
controlling it, but you won't be able to target your party with it.
- You *cannot* learn Lv5 Death or Lv2 Old from the Level Trickers. You
can cast them by controlling them, but, again, you simply won't be able
to target your party with them.
- Stealing Partisans isn't really necessary unless you see yourself
using the Dragoon in the near future. Either way, you can find Ziggurat
Gigases on the top floors.
- The second Save Point is on the 10th floor.

[Boss]
- Lv41, 19 997 HP, 12 AP
- Atomos will spam you with Comet until at least one of your characters
is dead. He will then start pulling the bodies slowly towards him. Any
bodies that are pulled too close will be removed from battle. Obviously,
you shouldn't let that happen, but having a dead character is the only
way to avoid being barraged by Comet, which he will otherwise frequently
cast two or three times in a row, and a single one can hit as high as
1000 pod. Shell would reduce the damage quite a bit, but even then it
might be hard to keep up.
- If you go in with two Twin Lancers on each character, he sould go down
quickly.

- After the events, you will obtain the submarine. Return to the sunken
island.

Item (nc): Chourou no Eda (Key)                 \\\ Guido no Hokora ||
Lost & Found: Hikari no Tsue (Metamorpha)
Blue: Aeroga (Metamorpha - Senpuumajin b)
- Metamorpha can transform into various enemies you've seen earlier in
the game. None of these are exact copies of their true incarnations,
and he will transform back after using one attack. He can only transform
into three specific enemies in a given encounter. His current HP will
transfer between forms, but the transformations are indeed considered
different enemies.
- You'll have the easiest time learning Aeroga in the area with the 5
chests.
- If you want a Hikari no Tsue, get it on B4. Use Kakutou and you should
be able to take him out before he transforms.
- Once you have the Chourou no Eda, you can access the next dungeon in
the continent of Mua in the west.

- ???? works well on Imps and Wyrms.
- There's a Save Point in the fifth area. Might look a little suspicious,
but it's definitely a save point.
- Soon after passing the chest with the Morning Star, the forest will
be set on fire. At this point, you'll never be able to return to the
previous areas. Before you jump into the hole, you can pick up the
Aegis no Tate nearby *or* you can leave it, in which case it becomes
a Flame Shield when you get it later.
- You'll fight the boss inside the Elder Tree. Better go save at the

- Lv77, 7777 HP each, 15 AP

of them do ab. 600 pod to all characters.
- Missile works, but it could take a few tries.

- Galuf dies and Cara joins the party (his gear won't be lost). She will

- This is the cave I told you to stay away from earlier. If you follow
the hidden path, you'll find a door. Beyond the door lies a bunch of
money, but every time you pick some up you have a chance of encountering
the Gilgame. Before you try to do this, I suggest you do everything at
Exdeath's Castle (aside from finishing it) and build up there. It's not
really necessary, but it helps.

[Boss]
- Lv57, 32 768 HP, W:I, Undead
- His physical attacks (normal and Kame no Koura) deal ab. 1300 pod. Kame
no Koura can also inflict a number of status ailments. He'll counter every
attack with 2 Kame no Kouras (4 when using two weapons or Midareuchi).
- Have a Knight using Mamori while the other 3 characters are low on HP.
- He'll use Jishin as a final attack (~4000 pod to all). If you hit him
with Kuro no Shougeki and Lv2 Old, it'll only do about 600 (2000 with
just Kuro no Shougeki). Kuro no Shougeki only has a low chance of hitting,
so it's just easier to go with Levitate.
- Dual-wield Mahouken Blizzaga Midareuchi will do 12k of damage. If you
don't have Midareuchi yet, use Requiem (3000+).

- Once you complete the events at Exdeath's Castle, you will never be
able to access the following areas again: Underground River, Moogle Village,

Special: Carbuncle Summon
Bosses: Carbuncle, Gilgamesh 4 & Gilgamesh 5, Exdeath

- 3F: Once you hit the suspicious looking dead end, simply try to leave
to trigger a scene.
- After triggering the scene, you can encounter Ankokumadoushis on the
the basement floors. Stealing a couple of Sabaki no Tsues would be
recommended, as it's the strongest staff in the game. You can find
them on higher levels as well, but it's probably better to do it as
close to a save point as possible. These guys can be fairly unpleasant
to hang out with, as they spam you with nice little spells like Death,
Stop, Confuse and Break. To top it off, they're immune to Iainuki.
- You can find Motor Drives in the room where the recovery spring used
to be on 1F. The Beast Killer does double damage to many enemies.
- For some reason, hitting Blue Dragons with Lv2 Old increases their
stats as opposed to lowering them. If you want to try it, make sure you
save the game first. Their specials will deal four times as much damage
as normal (the effect seems temporary). You can find them in the room
where the recovery point used to be and on 7F.
- 6F: Introducing lava. Without a Fuusuishi or Levitate, you'll take
50 pod each step.
- 7F: You can encounter alternate versions of some enemies (Abductor,
Imp, Garkimasera, Owazoral) here if the platform hits one of the walls.
- 8F: First Save Point.
- 9F is a pretty good place to build up.
- You'll find Carbuncle on the 10th floor. One of the switches on the
floor nearby will teleport you to him. A Fuusuishi won't allow you to
see the holes here, so use this.

- The Chicken Knife starts off with 0 ATP and gains 0,5 points (up to

- Before you can even enter the Pyramid, you'll have to take out the
two Gargoyles guarding the place. You'll find them guarding some other
dungeons as well.

[Boss]
- 5000 HP, 10 AP
- You have to take them out at the same time or in quick succession.
Iainuki doesn't work, but Break Blade does.

- You should get through the place as quickly as possible, so Lenna
doesn't fall much behind in Exp. Just head all the way up. Come back
for the magic items later. You may have to take care of Sekhmet on 5F,
though. He's got a rare steal you really should pick up. Also, grab the
Ribbon on 8F.
- B1: Fight 4 Norowareshimonos for an Ice Shield.
- Zephyr Zone can summon alternate versions of 6 enemies (2 different
ones in one encounter).
- 3F: All three chests are trapped (Flame Shield, Dark Matter, Shiro no

before.
- 4F: Kuro no Robe (Archaeo Saurus), Save Point
- You'll find some Machine Heads wandering around the fourth floor.
Don't underestimate them or they'll blast you away with Hadouhou.
- 5F: Steal the second Touzoku no Kote from Sekhmet (6000 HP) here. You
encounter him like a normal enemy.

Boss: Melusine
- The Ancient Library is the next one to disappear.

[Boss]
- 20 000 HP, 20 AP
- Melusine is highly resistant to physical attacks, and her magic shield
means that she'll only take damage from one specific element. She starts
off weak to Fire, so a few Firagas will likely close the deal. Midareuchi
works, too.

- Afterwards, Lenna rejoins the party. She should be less than 10k
behind in Exp.

Item (nc): Cottage                              \\\ Surgate Jou ||
- You can now pick up a Cottage from a crate in one of the hidden rooms
(you'll have to do the thing with the three books again).

- Once you reach your ship, the following areas will also be removed:
Worus, Lix, Istory, Moogle Village.
- You can now access the final dungeon by flying into the hole where
Tycoon Castle used to be. There's some very nice stuff there, so I
suggest you explore that one before any of the other ones. First, you
should pick up some new gear that's immediately available.
- Aside from the final dungeon, there are 2 dungeons available: Phoenix
no Tou and Kotou no Shinden.
- Completing Kotou no Shinden gives you access to the Fork Tower.
- Completing the Fork Tower gives you access to the Sunken Worus Tower,
Istory no Taki and Daikaikou.
- There are also 2 optional bosses: Odin at Bal Jou and Bahamut at Kita
no Yama.

- You may want to drop by the Phoenix Tower just to steal some Rainbow
Dresses.
- With the Sekiban you got at the Pyramid, you can pick up three weapons
of your choice at Fuuinjou Kuzar. Watch out for Exdeath Soul, though.
I decided to go with the Excalibur, Masamune and Holy Lance myself.
- The scene that plays when you leave will be the same even if you've
already killed the bosses in the final dungeon.

3. West (medium): Kyodai Chous and Sea Devils
4. East (large): Corvettes and Aamons (+ Stingray)

- You won't find the Stingray unless you're in the right one. If you're
running into the enemies listed below, you're in the wrong one. At the
south end of the lake is a river. This section is on the west side of
where the river reaches the lake. Stay on the east side and you *should*
eventually encounter the Stingray. The odds are painfully low (1/64
probably), but this is the only way you can learn Mighty Guard. Needless
to say, you'll probably never get your hands on the Ryuu no Hige.

Shi no Senkoku (Norowareshimono - Control), Mind Blast (Stalker)
Bosses: 2x Gargoyles, Invisible, Stalker
- Found in the middle of the Big Bridge.
- First off, make sure your levels aren't divisible by 4 or 5. At *least* 5.

[Boss]
- 5000 HP, 10 AP

- Check the walls in the room with the two switches to find a Hi-Potion
and a Protect Drink (ugh...).
- Activating the switches allows you to reach different places through
the air duct.
- Right switch: Elixir
- Both switches: 9000 gil
- Left switch: Rising Sun + proceed
- The chest with the Rising Sun is protected by the Invisible (7000 HP).

- The first Save Point is in the next area (just before reaching 2F).
- The second Save Point is on 6F right before the main boss.

[Boss]
- 20 000 HP, 20 AP
- The Stalker has three illusory copies of himself, meaning only one of
the four targets will actually take damage.

- You now have access to the Fork Tower.

Items: Ether, Wonder Wand (Unique), Hi-Potion, Defender
Theft: Elixir / Dengeki Muchi (Flayer),
Chikara no Kusuri / Flame Shield (Duel Knight),
Potion / Cornago no Tsubo (Artifact) (Subete o Shirumono)
Special: Holy, Flare
Bosses: Minotauros, Subete o Shirumono
- You will no longer have access to this dungeon once you complete the
events here.
- This place has two towers, and you'll split into two groups, so you
can complete them at the same time (kind of).
- WARNING! Do *not* use physical attacks in the left tower. This will
prompt the enemy to counter with a nasty attack of some kind (unless
your attack kills them). In the right tower, the Duel Knight will counter
magic, but that's it.
- Iainuki can be used in either one. Only one of the enemies is immune.
- You'll start with the left tower. Once you reach the 8th floor, you'll
switch to the other team (if you want the other Cornago no Tsubo, set
Steal and equip Touzoku no Kotes before you approach the door).
- The only way to get more Dengeki Muchis is to try and steal them from
Flayers. The weapon has no use at this point in the game, and the Flayers
counter by attacking twice for max damage, so this is certainly not worth
your time and effort.
- When you attack with the Wonder Wand, you'll be prompted to cast white
magic or black magic instead.

[Boss: Minotauros]
- 19 850 HP, A:H
- Magic is sealed in this battle.

- You'll then switch back to the other team. DO NOT WANDER OFF!

[Boss: Subete o Shirumono]
- 16 999 HP, W:N, 20 AP
- When trying to get the second Cornago no Tsubo, you don't have to cast
Return yourself, as the boss uses it as a counter to physical attacks.
He won't counter Steal, though, unlike the normal enemies.
- Use Dispel to get rid of his Shell (and Reflect and Haste if he uses
those). You can also use it to get rid of Slow.
- Once close to death, he'll start using -ga-level spells (~1400 pod).

- Mahouken Flare increases ATP by 100.
- Afterwards, the dungeon will disappear, and in its place you'll find
the hangar. Drop in, and Cid will modify your airship, so it can turn
into a sub. This allows you to access the sunken Worus Tower, Istory no
Taki, Daikaikou and Monoshiri-jiisan's. The last one isn't visible on
the map (it's south of Karnak). (For some reason, the map still shows

- Monoshiri-jiisan can show you the following stats:
 - Battles fought
 - Enemies killed
 - Average total Exp
 - Treasure found
 - Number of saves
- There's no reward for getting 100% treasure found (other than a
sense of accomplishment and bragging rights). Not everything counts
towards it (such as the money in the Bal Cave or the sealed weapons).

                                               \\\ Sunken Worus Tower ||
Theft: Kawa no Fuku / Kin no Kamikazari (Gogo)
Special: Final Class (Monomaneshi)
Boss: Monomaneshi Gogo
- You have 7 minutes to retrieve the last crystal shard from the bottom
of the tower before you run out of oxygen. Not that easy, as the boss
takes 2 minutes to "kill," and some of the enemies (such as Garkimaseras
and Protoypes) can really slow you down.
- The chest you see on 5F will refill your oxygen supply. Better save
it for when you're coming back up.

[Boss]
- 50 AP. You're not supposed to do anything here. Just stand still for
a couple of minutes. Forget about the Kin no Kamikazari.

                                               \\\ Daikaikou ||
Items: Suiton no Jutsu, Honoo no Yubiwa, Ryuu no Kiba, Ether,
Phoenix no O, Kaiser Knuckle
Item (nc): Sekiban 3 (Key, Temp)
Theft: Beast Killer (Shoutaifumei)
Blue: Shi no Senkoku (Shoutaifumei)
Special: Meteo
Bosses: 2x Gargoyles, Fugly Trio (Triton, Neregade & Phobos)
- In case you missed the world map, the Daikaikou is found NNE of Crescent.
- All the enemies here are called Shoutaifumei (Unknown). There are
five different kinds of these. The one with the Beast Killer looks
exactly like another of them (a pile of intestines), but if you fail
to steal, then you've probably got the right one. You can easily find
them on B4.
- You'll quickly find a Save Point on B3.
- B6 is probably the best place to level up in the game. The two most
common battles give you 1500 and 1070 xp. You can get 100k xp in about
25 minutes (with Dash) and 100 AP in about 7 minutes (without Dash).
Give 2 characters Damage Yuka and Keikai. If you master your remaining
classes here, you'll hit Lv70.
- On B7, you'll find the second Save Point and a small dwarf settlement.
There's also a shop, but it's the same stuff they had in Shinkirou.
- As always, the boss awaits you in the Sekiban room.

[Boss]                     FITWNEPH
- 13 333 HP each | Green:  RR   WA
- Undead         | Red:    AW
- 20 AP          | Purple: WA
- Just like the Gargoyles, you'll have to take these guys out at the
same time or in quick succession.

Theft: Otome no Kiss / Man Eater (Alcumia)
Lost & Found: Mirage Vest (Tonberry), Kaiser Knuckle (Fall Guard)
Bosses: 2x Gargoyles, nx Tonberry, Leviathan
- Tonberry is a rare encounter in every area. Be prepared at all times.
- Save Point on the 3rd floor.
- To reach the Sekiban room, fall down from one of the holes next to
the chest where the Kyojin no Ono was.
- Fighting Leviathan is optional.

Theft: Mamori no Yubiwa (Odin)                  \\\ Bal Jou ||
Special: Odin Summon
Boss: Odin
- Go through the Jacole caverns to reach the area of Bal Castle's
basement you couldn't access before.
- You can still ride the other Hiryuu, but there's no need for that.

[Boss]
- 17 000 HP, A:H. You have only 1 minute to kill him.

Special: Bahamut Summon                         \\\ Kita no Yama ||
Boss: Bahamut

[Boss]
- 40 000 HP, 25 AP
- Bahamut is certainly not interested in small pots, seeing as most of
his attacks deal 600 - 800 pod to everyone at the table. You're gonna
have to go all in and hope he doesn't beat your hand when he hits that
Mega Flare on the river (2500 pod to all).

                                               \\\ Phoenix no Tou ||

Akai Kutsu / Elf no Manto (Cherie), Ether / Mamori no Yubiwa (Sol Cannon 2)
Lost & Found: Lamia no Tategoto (Chamcuvia), Hermes no Kutsu (Cherie)

Blue: Shi no Roulette (Komusa Bera), Chiisana Melody (Cherie),
Aeroga, Time Slip (Cherie - Control)
Special: Phoenix Summon
- There are no bosses here, but you do have the chance to fight a
Magic Pot every 5 floors (look like regular pots). The only way to
'beat' these guys is to give them an Elixir. This only has a chance of
making them run away, so it could take a few. Either way, once they
do, you'll gain 100 AP. This is a *terrible* waste of Elixirs, but
it's the only way to reach 100% treasure found. If you don't care about
it, don't bother with them. Below you can see which pots are *not*
Magic Pots.
 5F: Left    10F: Left    15F: Right    20F: Left    25F: Right
- Throughout the tower, there are 18 floors where the staircases to
the next floor are hidden. There are two of these, and all you need
to do to make them appear is examine specific parts of the wall in the
middle. However, one of these will trigger an encounter with a special
enemy. If you wish to avoid these battles, you can see which staircases
to use below.

- Cheries are common on 5F and above.
- The Akai Kutsu increases your chances to perform Tsurugi no Mai. They
also make you immune to confusion.

Elixir / Kyojin no Kote (Unique) (Apocalypse),
Hikari no Tsue / Aegis no Tate (Halicarnassus),
Kyojin no Ono (Artifact) (Twin Tania 2),
Lost & Found: Fuuma Shuriken (Ninja), Tinker Bell (Unique) (Twin Tania 1)
Blue: Death Claw (Death Claw), Magic Hammer (Death Claw - Control)
Bosses: Apanda, Apocalypse, Catastrophe, Halicarnassus, Twin Tania
- Examine the book on the table to fight Apanda.

[Boss: Apanda]
- Lv59, 22 200 HP, W:F, 16 AP, Susu (fixed)

- You'll find the next boss in the dungeon of the castle (the cell on
the left; ignore the other ones for now).

[Boss: Apocalypse]
- Lv57, 27 900 HP, W:P, 22 AP
- Apocalypse knows almost every enemy skill in the book. This includes
Lv5 Death, so you probably shouldn't fight him when your level is
divisible by 5.
- Don't miss the Kyojin no Kote.
- When he dies, he leaves behind the 2nd Save Point.

- Approaching the guys in the other cells will trigger encounters with
Alte Roite (6000 HP) / Jura Avis (15 000 HP). Roite likes to cast
Circle, so don't go easy on them. Iainuki, Death Claw and Missile work
on Jura Avis.

[Boss: Catastrophe]
- Lv71, 19 997 HP, 21 AP

- In the throne room, you'll fight Halicarnassus.

[Boss: Halicarnassus]
- Lv97, 33 333 HP, 20 AP

- Return to save before proceeding to the rooftop of the main tower.
Unfortunately, the short cut only works one way.

[Boss: Twin Tania]
- 50 000 HP, W:H, 24 AP
- Tania is fairly consistent in countering physical attacks with Tidal
Wave (possibly two of them when using Midareuchi) and magical attacks
with Mega Flare (both 1000 pod to all). The other attacks are not as
powerful.
- Tania will regularly switch to Hyper Mode (no visible change) to
unleash Giga Flare, which deals a fairly substantial amount of damage
(3100 to all). This is when you can steal the Kyojin no Ono (the only
other one in the game). However, if you want the Tinker Bell as well,
you'll have to kill it in its normal form. It'll switch forms after the
two Kamaitachis. Look at your HP figures to tell exactly when this
happens (Mind Blast's bleeding effect will pause for a moment). It'll
switch back to form 1 soon after Giga Flare. Wait 2 seconds after the
damage figures disappear, then finish it off.

- You can find Youjinbous fairly easily on top of the main tower.

                                               \\\ Crystal Plane ||
Items: Fuuma Shuriken, Fuuma Shuriken, Elixir, Fuuma Shuriken,
(Ragnarok) (Unique) (trap)
Theft: Genji no Tate (Unique) (Gilgamesh 6),
Phoenix no O / Blood Sword (King Behemoth),
Elixir / Hiryuu no Yari (Suishouryuu),
Hi-Potion / Aegis no Tate (Gorchimera), Seisui / Bone Armor (Necromancer),
Engetsurin / Rising Sun (Belfegor), Green Beret / Main Gauche (Mindflayer),
Genji no Yoroi (Unique) (Gilgamesh 7)
Bosses: Gilgamesh 6, Necrophobia & 4x Barriers + Gilgamesh 7, (Shinryuu),
Exdeath 2, Neo Exdeath
- Telepo will not work here.
- You don't gain any Experience from the enemies here.
- You can take out King Behemoths easily with Break Blade.
- You can encounter Suishouryuus in the first and third areas.
- You'll immediately run into an old friend.

[Boss: Gilgamesh 6]
- Nothing really happens here. Just steal the Genji no Tate.

- As soon as you reach the third area, you'll see a lone chest at the
end of a flight of stairs. DO NOT OPEN THIS CHEST!
- In order to take out Shinryuu (55 500 HP), you'll want at least two
characters with two Hiryuu no Yaris. This will allow you to take him
out in a single round. You'll need to equip Sango no Yubiwas to survive
the Tidal Wave he always starts off with (a modest ~8000 pod to all).
The item he drops (Ryuu no Monshou) has no use.
- The fourth area is the last one. In order to access the final Save
Point, you'll have to take care of Necrophobia.

[Boss: Necrophobia & Gilgamesh 7]
- 44 044 HP
- Take out the four Barriers (8800 HP), then start bringing down
Necrophobia's HP, but do *not* kill him. You'll have to get his HP
pretty low in order to make Gilgamesh appear. Before that happens,
you'll have to put up with some fairly powerful attacks (Shinkuuha,
Hurricane, Death).
- Once Gil drops in, steal the Genji no Yoroi, then just wait.
- You could steal a third Touzoku no Kote from Necrophobia but only
after taking down the Barriers. Just let it go.

- You can only find Movers in the fourth area. They're worth quite a
bit of gil and AP.

[Boss: Exdeath]
- Nothing special in the first battle (49 001 HP).
- The second form has four targets. Expect heavy damage from all attacks
(Almagest: 1600 pod to all). Don't look at Grand Cross.

Ryoutemochi.

Lv6 | 280 | Mahouken L5     | Use Mahouken up to Lv5
Lv7 | 680 | Mahouken L6     | Use Mahouken up to Lv6

- Mahouken allows you to imbue a weapon with the power of a black magic
spell and a couple of white magic spells (knives and western swords only).
- The elemental enchantments only add an element to the weapon (replacing
any native element in the process). Unless you hit an elemental weakness,
you will see no increase in damage.
- Hitting an elemental weakness with a -ga level enchantment results
in instant death. Some enemies are immune to it and will take damage
instead.
- Mahouken is fully compatible with Nitouryuu and Midareuchi.

- The Ribbon makes the wearer immune to Poison, Darkness, Mute, Toad,
Berserk, Petrification, Old and Instant Death. It does *not* make you
immune to Confuse, Mini, Slow, Stop, or Zombie.
- Most bows have limited accuracy.
- The ATP of axes and hammers varies between 50%-150%. They have limited
accuracy but also ignore a good part of the target's DFP.
- A few staves have different ATP values than what the game claims them
to be.
- The ATP of rods varies between 0-200% and they have limited accuracy.
