LA Meltdown

Mission 1: Hollywood Holocaust
Shoot the gas canisters to blow up fan, then drop down shaft. Kill the foe,
jump on crate. Jump to sloped ledge above windows, then to north ledge to
secret area and RPG - fire shot through middle window by sloped ledge, then
jump through it into secret area. Blast alien, then open movie poster for
steroids. Proceed west up street,. Beware ambush round corner. Open door and go
through tunnel into cinema. Blast aliens, then fire RPG at projectionist above.

Go through either door and shoot flying aliens. Jump over counter and open till
to reveal secret area: alcove on north side with healing atom. Open southeast
door, shoot the foe, and grab shotgun. Open north door to blast cop and alien.
Through south door are toilets: shoot aliens and grab shotgun ammo behind sofa.
Shoot grille above cubicles, then fire RPG into it. Jump up there and grab
medikit before entering vent. Go through and shoot next grille to enter secret
area with two aliens and cocoon. Open north door to enter projection room.
Blast aliens and grab the red key and goodies. Hit switch to start the film!
Jump atop projector to open another secret area - and alien.

Return to till room and head northwest to arcade door - jump up from rubbish
bin to find night goggles and pipe bombs. Blast another foe after opening lift
door. Up in the arcade, shoot three aliens, then canisters to make hole in
floor. Go down it and crouch through to cinema. Head for screen and use bomb to
blast hole in it. Lob another through hole to kill aliens, then jump in and
grab jetpack and shotgun ammo.

Back in arcade, use red key to open west door. Get ready for three cops in next
room. Go through hole and open door. Shoot more cops. Before heading for exit
over bridge, jump onto narrow wall ledge to northwest. Follow it round to palm
tree, then jump onto latter. Turn round and jump through window by cinema sign
into secret room with chaingun, pipe bombs, and shotgun.

Go back round wall ledge and jump to bridge. Facing east wall, use jetpack to
fly up and blast two turrets. Enter secret alcove to find shotgun ammo and
another jetpack to float back down to exit.


Mission 2: Red Light District
Run into shop doorway to take cover from flying enemies, then enter shop,
shooting cop. Shoot aliens and dash south, then west to monitor. Jump onto
opposite bookcase for healing atom, then open corner there for secret area with
holoduke. For another secret area containing armor and pipe bombs, return to
main room and open third bookcase from left on south wall.

Head through east exit and right to toilets. Shoot the foe and activate hand-
drier to open alcove with night goggles. Go to other end of hallway and shoot
cop and alien. Open peepshow cubicles to find various foes and goodies.

Back in books room, press outer two buttons to unlock red door. Go through,
shoot alien, and activate night goggles. Shoot alien, then head to right of
lift, then left into secret area with cop and healing atom. Go up in lift and
shoot foes. Grab chaingun and open red door to find blue key card. Shoot aliens
and flying cars outside through large window. Jump through it to street.

Head right and jump on grey ledge by burning bin. Jump left to narrow wall
ledge and follow to find armor. Drop down by Demolition Co hut and shoot cop
inside. Enter to insert blue key card, then hit inner two buttons and the
switch to blow up building opposite. Head round rubble to find RPG ammo,
medikit, and yellow key. Go back to yellow card door (by Demolition Co hut) and
unlock it. Shoot two cops inside and grab shotgun. Go up ramp and shoot vent
open to enter. Lob bomb into toilets, then drop in and kill more aliens through
north doorway. Open wall behind toilet for two secret areas: kill cops and
octabrain and head down sewer for goodies.

Return to toilets and go north to reach pool room. Get laser trip bomb from
bin, then head east up wooden ramp to enter bar. Shoot aliens, then lob pipe
bombs by entrance and get behind bar to detonate them as cops arrive. Crouch to
right of till to open cupboard for red key. Head back west and follow signs to
dance hall. Get ready for cop ambush from top of stone ramp. Use red key to
open large door, then blast cops and aliens. Try not to shoot girls or more
aliens will arrive. Stand on seats in southwest corner to open secret area
behind dancers in east alcove, for chaingun and ammo. Shoot grille up in
southeast corner and jump there from table for secret area and healing atom.

Shoot other end open and chuck some bombs through to kill cops. Drop through
and head west backstage, killing more cops. Hit switch at end to open curtain.
Shoot more cops, then jump on pillar where the cop was standing, turn around,
and jump to loft. From edge, look west and jump to ledge (by switch) for secret
area with night goggles.

Back in loft, follow passage, killing more cops. Open secret hatch to left of
crates for medikit. Blast final cop to complete level.


Mission 3: Death Row
Push forward to jump out of electric chair. You start with no weapons: go round
to room on right and quickly open hatch to grab pistol, then kill cop there.
Flick switch to left of window to lower chair. Go back round and drop down to
find secret area with shotgun and ammo. Hit other switch by window to open
curtain to viewing room. Kill the foes and grab holoduke from middle of right
wall.

Go through east hall and turn left into chapel to dispatch aliens. Shoot
stained glass windows, then hit switch above altar to reveal secret passage
behind left smashed window. Kill octabrain and collect healing atom. Shoot monk
at end and enter to collect chaingun.

Leave chapel and head left to open barred door. Go through and crouch by right
hole to enter passage with pistol ammo. Back in room, activate bench so it
swings out to reveal secret passage: crouch to enter and get RPG.

Exit room and proceed down hall, killing more aliens. When you break the second
light beam, the wall on the right explodes, releasing more aliens. Go through
hole to collect chaingun ammo. Now jump onto shorter gear and onto secret north
ledge for healing atom and night goggles. Jump to tall gear and into high
passage. Blast enemies and grab RPG, then open hatch for blue key card.

Drop back to tall cog and jump to entrance to return to main hall. Go up ramp
and unlock door with blue key. Ignore Control East door and crouch under laser
beam ahead. Shoot through left window at cops, then turn left and jump over
double laser beam to get yellow key card. When you do, the cops arrive and hit
the beams. Enter either door opposite and get boots from middle shower. Go down
next ramp, under another beam. Shoot cop and blow canisters to make hole in
wall. Crouch into it to retrieve healing atom.

Open Control West door and head left down ramp to unlock yellow key door.
Inside, use RPG to splat cops on right. Open next door and blast cops, then use
RPG to blow up four high turrets. Head left and grab red key card from end,
then blow open marked part of rock face above it. Shoot at aliens through high
cell windows, then jump via one of the dark ledges by the locked door to upper
walkway. Jump up either side of central block to find secret passage with
healing atoms. Go over to hole in rocks you opened and jump into secret area.
Blow open marked wall to enter cell block 01.

Shoot canister to blow open hole back to outside Control West door. Go through
and open either red key door. Shoot cop inside, then hit switch up ramp to open
next door. Grab chaingun ammo by hologram, then hit either door switch and step
back. Open left door, shoot cop, and flick the switch to turn off cell block 01
forcefield. Do the same in the room opposite for cell block 02, then return to
hologram room. Open red door and lob in bomb to blow laser beams. Cross walkway
and open wall to reveal map of this level - and open two secret alcoves above
to left and right.

Drop down and return to cell block 01, using levers to open each cell in turn
and get goodies inside. Do the same for cell block 02: in third cell, enter
pin-up poster to find escape tunnel. Follow it round and blast marked walls.
Jump over slime and follow tunnel round to cavern with submarine. Shoot aliens
and octabrain, then head along sand into tunnel and more cops. Grab scuba gear
and jump onto sloped ledge to door's right and open wall for secret area with
night goggles.

Step into water by sub and use scuba gear to dive down. Enter hole in bottom of
sub and kill more aliens. Before hitting destruct button to exit, open wall at
south end to find secret room and medikit.


Mission 4: Toxic Dump
Dive under water and hit top and bottom buttons to unlock escape hatch on left.
Go through and grab scuba gear from weeds. Enter passage, shoot octabrain, and
blow marked wall to find healing atom. Kill more octabrains and get pipe bombs
at end. Surface here and jump out to secret area with cocoon. Blow marked wall
behind barrels and shoot aliens in pillbox, then turrets. Wade over to passage
and follow it up to kill alien and grab RPG. Blast turrets to left and right of
tunnel end before grabbing blue key. Jump to right turret alcove and open wall
for secret area. Jump to left secret alcove for cryptic message. Drop back to
the water and jump up to surfaced part of sub. Run through fire to open secret
hatch below. Dive down into sub and swim to top for armor, healing atom, and
medikit.

Go round to left of pillbox and unlock blue key door. Enter and blast aliens,
then open wall on right, just past bend. In this secret area, open next wall to
enter pillbox and collect chaingun. Return to corridor and head right to blast
alien by red door. Bomb beams at corridor end to get chaingun ammo.

Enter red door and drop down to floor. Wait for claw to pick up barrel, then
stand on striped platform so it picks you up! Kill alien, but don't destroy
barrel - you want it to be picked up to break the laser beam. The claw takes
you to another belt: shoot window on right and enter to kill cop. Open red
hatch to get red key.

Get back on belt and crouch into red slime on right. Open left wall for secret
area and chaingun ammo. Ride belt and jump off into next room, shooting aliens.
Flick blue switch to open the two pillars: get healing atom from right one,
then enter left one and jump to secret area. Let belt take you back to main
room. Head right to red door and deal with cops. Go up flashing ramp to collect
chaingun ammo. Use red key by locked door and be shrunk by ray. Quickly enter
right vent and head right at junction. Blast aliens and operate emergency lock
to open red door. Get shrunk again and return through vent.

Go through opened door and drop into water. In the room, swim through either
smashed window and blast mines and octabrains. Hit switch in small room (by
locked silver door) to raise water level. Surface by waterfall for goodies and
shoot aliens. Go to other passage from water and follow round. Jump from end to
square hole on right, then up to ledge for secret area.

Note: Just to the left of the square hole is a false wall. Jump through it and
you can zip straight to the end of the level!

Jump right from square hole. Blow marked wall, kill alien, and enter secret
area. Blast open next wall for another secret area, leading back to submarine
pool. Turn around and head left to shoot two aliens. Open wall between cylinder
and monitor for secret area and scuba gear. Hit switch under the 02 and drop
back in water and through opened door 02. Use RPG to take out octabrains, then
unlock door at end to blast some more. Hit switch by window to open large doors
and blow open hole opposite. Head through doors, shooting octabrain. Time your
move through gears to coincide with missing teeth. Be ready for octabrain on
other side.

Surface and shoot aliens, then ride down stream - hold back to blow open marked
wall on right for secret area where you can teleport to another. Jump back in
stream to emerge in large chamber. Climb out in northeast corner and follow
passage into red-light room to shoot two aliens and flick switch. Climb up west
waterfall and jump into left doorway to find red button which moves two dark
pillars in water. Climb up waterfall again and jump onto right ledge. Standing
on dark moving pillar, shoot across at red button (in flashing area) and
quickly jump to other pillar to reach opposite section.

Note: If you want a secret first, stand in water by pillar and shoot switch,
then quickly dive and shoot fan that was hidden behind it. Shoot button again
and enter fan passage.

After crossing moving pillars, follow passage and shoot fan over slime river.
Enter slime and jump to right ledge, then to fan hole for secret area. Float
downstream, shooting more octabrains. Grab goodies from ledges, and boots from
room on right.

Further downstream, blow marked wall on left and enter secret area. Hit the
button here to go to the extra mission: Launch Facility. Otherwise float on
down slime river and hit button for Mission 5.


Mission 4B: Launch Facility
Go down ramp, kill aliens, then go behind rotating mixer and hit switch. Jump
to passage, open hatch for boots, and kill aliens. Go past slime pool to reach
large hub room. Go up ramp and hit all buttons 1, 3 and 4. Go through red door
and press switch under '01' to collect blue key. Return to slime pool and swim
through opened passage to secret area.

Return to hub room and go up 01 passage. Kill aliens, then hit right switch to
light room. Jump over to healing atom ledge, then go up round perimeter
walkway. Shoot fan above and jetpack up for secret area. At end of walkway is
room with blue key lock. Unlock and return to bottom of walkway. Enter opened
passage and take second right turn. Open doors and go up, shooting cops. Get
red key and hit switch to open large doors below. Open wall panel opposite
switch for secret area.

Go through doors, shoot cops, and use lift to left of rocket. Use teleport to
enter rocket. Shoot cocoons and use red key, then teleport out. Go down in the
lift, then shoot cops in red bunker. Enter and hit switch to detonate rocket.
Enter lift on right to go down. Head right along passage, shooting more aliens.
Hit switch to open another door. Jump up and open computer panel for secret
area. Follow new passage and shoot octabrains. Let the slime river take you to
the end.


Mission 5: Abyss
Follow right ledge round to door: open to get boots and ammo. Return to slime
waterfall and jump to left ledge. Shoot turret and go down ramp, shooting
octabrains. Drop into slime and hug left wall to reach left ledge by waterfall.
Get goodies from upper ledges and go down ramp to lowest ledge and grab
chaingun by fire. Return upstairs and head along leftmost ledge. Follow it,
past cactus, for blue key. Return to waterfall and follow rightmost ledge and
jump up ledge for goggles.

Return to waterfall and jump back up to slime. Head to left of earlier
waterfall to find blue key lock. Get RPG and unlock grating. Kill cop, enter
and get pipe bombs from dark niche on left, then continue along passage,
shooting more cops. Leap to large hole in wall. Head left at junction and
carefully cross rope bridge. Grab goodies and return to junction to head the
other way. Jump over to cactus ledge and touch San Andreas Fault stone to cause
an earthquake. Jump left to low healing atom ledge, then to lower ledge to drop
into slime. Get out for holoduke and boots, then cross slime to enter passage.

Kill cops as you proceed up to area outside castle. Chuck a bomb through window
before going into the room. Crouch to press hand and slide open altar,
revealing alien and medikit. Exit and head right to leap into waterfall for
health. Get chaingun and boots opposite in left alcove which opens. Return
upstairs and go up the right passage, shooting octabrains. Press wall to right
of fire alcove for secret area. Shoot the foes in fire pit, then drop to
closest niche for healing atom. Press left hand to get RPG. Press right hand
and jump onto opened door to leap to ledge above for goggles. Step into fire to
reach secret area, jump to secret alcove for RPG ammo: step into fire to
return.

Enter passage, avoiding fires. Drop at end and kill octabrains. Press right
switch, then go upstairs and press hand switch. Get on the rising right
platform and hit hand switch to be shrunk. Go through small hole in wall (near
entrance) to return to waterfall. Head left to opened lava chamber, then right
down ramp. Follow the right wall round to ledge by slime waterfall and kill
hordes of octabrains. Climb ledges to jump over waterfall. Follow right
passage, killing more octabrains. Get boots from right and pipe bombs by marked
wall. Blow open latter and collect goodies on way to secret area. Turn round
and return down passage. Jump to island in lava and hit hand switch to make
panel to left. Jump up there and into left opening. Follow passage to secret
area and healing atom. Step into fire to see dancing bikini girl!

Return to island and back the way you came (or downstream). Head round to the
right and over to healing atom. Kill enemies and head up north passage,
collecting more healing atoms. Get boots from window and continue down passage
to lava. Jump carefully across platforms, then up steps, and follow passage to
ship entrance. Open wall in far right corner for passage to secret area. Return
and open door and blast octabrains, then go in and through next door. Hit right
switch to open door below. Jetpack down hole and grab ammo from alcoves before
opening doors to face big boss.

There's a sneaky trick you can use. Turn around and back into room until doors
start closing, then run back outside. Now hit switch again and they'll stay
open. Enter and walk past medikit to activate boss. Retreat outside and fire
the RPG at his head from there - he can't get through the door.



Episode 2: Lunar Apocalypse

Mission 1: Spaceport
Enter teleporter for RPG. Return and follow passage to room. Go round left
corner and approach monitor to reveal secret area opposite. Shoot aliens in far
right corner and hit the switch to turn off the forcefield. Open control panel
to find secret area with alien and healing atom. Enter restricted area and
follow passage, shooting alien. Open door and kill aliens, then jump into the
'Authorised Personnel' sign to secret area. Shoot grille and drop into room for
blue key, medikit, and scuba gear. Open hatch to right to dive into secret
area. Return and blast aliens up above through window, then go up ramp and
through door. Finish off aliens, then use yellow/black-striped lift to ascend
large pillar. Open right part of earth picture to find holoduke, then use blue
key to open far door below.

Go back down and shoot enforcer, then head into opened lift and go up. Shoot
enforcers and grab goodies, including jetpack in alcove. Use the latter to get
up to healing atom ledge. Touching down here opens a secret door to right of
lift downstairs: get down there before it closes. Back upstairs, blow the
canisters and enter the hole to flick the switch. Go up the ramp to the blue
area and hit the two inner buttons to turn off the forcefield.

Drop back down, re-enter hole with switch and jetpack up to secret area. Shoot
enforcer, grab devastator and other goodies, then drop down red shaft to splash
into water. Get red key under water, then hit switch to find jetpack and
healing atoms.

Climb out and go back upstairs to the blue area, shooting enforcers. Go through
large door and splatter enforcers. Stand on light patch and activate to go down
to secret area. Kill enforcer and grab shrinker, then go back on lift. Use red
key to open doors. Step back after opening next door to shoot drone before it
can detonate near you. Open final door and hit button.


Mission 2: Incubator
Open left panel for shotgun. Go through and destroy drones. Open door to
control centre and shoot enforcers who arrive. Open panel on left wall for pipe
bombs - then jump in and open rear panel for secret area. Hit switch to open
doors, but be ready for droid assault. Get healing atom from where they came.
Exit through northeast door.

Shoot aliens, then grab secret medikit from logo on right wall. Climb ramp and
enter room. Get laser trip bombs from armory, then open wall in northeast
corner for secret room with holoduke and freeze thrower - but watch out for
alien and enforcer attacking from behind.

Go up ramp and be ready for alien assault - but first, take out the high turret
to the right. Be ready for more aliens and drones when you grab healing atoms.
Open east wall for secret area. Hit switch by monitor to remove forcefield from
earlier ramp room.

Head back there, destroying more drones. Enter Secured Area and exterminate
slimers, octabrain, and drones in left and right corridors. Open armory for
lots of ammo. Open door at end of left passage and grab yellow key. Exit and go
to end of right passage to unlock yellow key door. Open door and use RPG to
take our turret and enforcers. Shoot slimer pods through window. Flick switch
by monitor to remove walls outside.

Exit and head left round corner into new area. Blow octabrains out of water and
grab freeze thrower ammo on walkway. Get medikit and steroids from left panel.
Watch out for slimers and octabrains as you cross water - and turret high to
right. Underwater you can find two alcoves with devastator and ammo. Climb out
to left side and shoot round white switch in slime to open exit. Shoot
octabrains and lob in bombs to destroy pods. Open doors and shoot more
octabrains before hitting destruct button.


Mission 3: Warp Factor
This level's laid out in the style of the USS Enterprise. When the lift opens,
turn sideways and take out a drone, then turn around to shoot another. Grab
chaingun and medikit, then open large door.

Head left towards armory, but be ready for heavy drone attack from right. Get
RPG ammo from armory and shoot enforcer behind you. Open left panel for freeze
thrower. Open central door and kill aliens, then collect ammo and medikit. Hit
switch to enter teleport room for ammo and medikit.

Activate left lift in main room, then immediately step back into room to
trigger explosive trap without getting hurt. Now go down in lift again to
explore large area. Shoot aliens and collect goodies (you can only grab one
healing atom from this side), plus blue key by crouching into east crevice.

Return upstairs and go down in right lift, then back up when enforcers
approach, to avoid explosion as they hit laser beams. Go back down and shoot
enforcer before unlocking blue key door and entering. Go up in two lifts to red
room. Get ready for drones and head left. Open door and shoot enforcer, then
grab devastator ammo and use monitor to view spaceship. Exit and open opposite
door to shoot enforcer. Open door to tunnel and shoot drone, then hit switch to
open shuttle. Get inside and hit switch to be transported, gun ready for aliens
at other end.

Grab devastator ammo as you go through doors. Watch out for drones and aliens
in next tunnel. Grab ammo and press middle button to open container for yellow
key. Enter south lift and go down for some healing atoms. Return and open east
door. Shoot enforcer inside, then back into room to shoot drone and enforcers
who arrive. Grab RPG, then exit and return to shuttle, shooting another
enforcer. Use shuttle and tackle more drones and enforcers en route to lifts.
Go back up and open door to right.

Shoot aliens as you enter. Hit switch to collect shotgun ammo from tactical
display. Open wall in dark area for shrinker. Proceed round corner, ready to
kill monster. Sneak past left room and unlock yellow door. Open and kill
enforcer, then grab shrinker ammo and head up conveyor. Open large door at top
and go through. Open nearby door for devastator ammo. Get medikit from panel
just to right of entrance, then steroids from next panel. Watch out for drones
and turret near back of room. Hit the switch up the ramp to open windows. Enter
Authorised Personnel door and kill enforcers. Hit the switch and open grey
panel between monitors for holoduke. Jump into area between maps for RPG.

Return to panel where steroids were. Jump and hit switch there and run (using
steroids) round other side of centre to opened lift by three medikits. Enter,
then open wall and step into lift to go up to bridge - secret area. Grab
various ammo, then open south door to conference room - prepare for rear attack
from drone and enforcers when you enter. Collect medikit and activate back of
laptop to open door to another secret area with devastator, freeze thrower, and
saucy film!

Return to bridge and downstairs via lift. Exit and head down conveyor to shoot
enforcers. Enter room opposite (which you bypassed earlier) and use shrinker on
assault commanders. Open large central door and run through blue room. Wait for
rotating wall to reveal core, then run in and go down in lift. Kill enforcers
and hit destruct button.


Mission 4: Fusion Station
Hit switch to open door, then blast alien and grab goggles. Shoot cocoon to
left and grab shotgun, then blast octabrain. Use goggles and follow corridor.
Shoot aliens, then turrets through left window. In room at end, get RPG and
medikit. Activate panel near monitor to raise central pillar for healing atom.
Hit switch to reveal door. Watch out for drone when you open it. Cross walkway
and open lift. Go down and shoot enforcers, then collect trip bombs, boots, and
ammo. Jump into red piston near lift to find some tunnels and chaingun. Open
wall opposite low tunnel for secret place. Back in room, open panel on west
ledge for secret area. Head to left end of tunnel and turn left to jump up for
secret pipe bombs. Return down tunnel to find healing atoms. Hit low switch to
open new lift outside: shoot enforcers and go up.

Go round to pool and shoot enforcers behind rotating mixers. Dive under water
and flick switches in both alcoves by mixers, then surface on other side of
room, shooting more aliens. Approach monitor in northwest corner to open secret
area to right of exit.

Take exit lift up and shoot red button opposite to hail platform. Stand on
latter and shoot switch again to move to other side. Open door and blast
octabrain and slimers. Open panel to right of west window for secret armor. Go
through north door and shoot enforcers in passage and watch out for explosions.
Jump up the right ledge and up top to find secret passage filled with pods.
Shoot cocoon opposite and blow wall to right of it for another secret place.
Shoot enforcer below, drop down, and open door at end of hallway.

Shoot enforcer and cross bridge. Open door and lob in bomb to kill enemies. Go
in and get trip bombs from right hole, then open far door, ready for rear
ambush from two enforcers. Go up in lift and kill enforcer in red room. As you
proceed, a wall blows up, releasing more enemies. Hit switch there to
temporarily open south exit door - run through, but careful not to fall into
lava! Blast enemies opposite, then ride platform by shooting central switch,
watching out for drone behind.

Enter large red room, but avoid using normal weapons or you may hit central
core and cause big explosion - instead use shrinker or freeze thrower on
enforcers. Grab goodies from perimeter, then throw bomb at core and go back
outside to detonate it. After explosion, re-enter and blast assault commander.
Go through hole to enter lift.

There's no platform to transport you across this time, so do a running jump
forward to land on a lower ledge with healing atom and jetpack. Use latter to
float up to higher ledge. As soon as you land, the doors open and assault
commanders pour out. Jetpack away and shoot from afar. Enter and shoot another
commander. Octabrains appear when you blast the cocoons. Jump over to the
cocoon platform to open central pillar, releasing another commander. Blast him
and hit button to complete level.


Mission 5: Occupied Territory
Get ammo and flick switch to open doors. Shoot pods and cocoon, then octabrain
in next room. Blast aliens through windows, then go through and hit switch
there to open doors opposite. Shoot enforcers who arrive, then crouch to enter
secret area to right of striped doorway.

Proceed down main passage to enter large room, to be ambushed by enforcers and
assault commander - use the shrinker. There's another commander in the second
part of the room. When you reach the ramp, loads of drones appear behind.
Jetpack up to the passage they came from for secret area and more goodies. Open
the Oz panel to left of middle arch for holoduke. Head up right ramp after
middle arch to shoot grille and enter secret vent.

Open large door up ramp to red room and shoot aliens. Open next door and shoot
enforcer and aliens. Go round room, shooting remaining aliens and drones. Lob
bomb into west slime room to blow pods. Go through, grab shrinker ammo, and go
up ramp and along conveyor. You can't shoot turret, so blast aliens. Go round
to the left and blow canisters. Shrink commanders and collect pipe bombs,
devastator, goggles, and red key (by monitor).

Return via conveyor and shoot more enforcers. Return to large room and unlock
red key door to extend ramp. Go up, grab devastator ammo, and open door. Try to
lure monsters out through door, one at a time, to shoot with RPG. Get blue key
from by monitors. Open bottom-right screen for secret place with trip bombs and
healing atom. Go back down ramp and unlock either blue key door.

Go inside and shoot three enforcers. Flick switch to open door opposite slime
room outside - go and enter it, shooting enforcer. Follow passage up to room
and shoot enforcers. Stay to side of window and flick switch, so monsters in
large room can't spot you. Go back downstairs and back through blue key door.
Look up and lob pipe bombs and other firepower at monster to kill it. Then go
back round and upstairs to finish off other one. Cross over striped walkway.
Hit switch to open exit - however, you may not want to?

Secret Mission: Look back towards control room window to see button up and to
right of it. Shoot it to open secret door to left. Jump/float there and hit
button for secret mission, Spin Cycle.


Mission 6: Tiberius Station
Shoot slimer, then grille to emerge in room. Flick right switch to turn on
lights; middle one to open large doors. Go down ramp and round outside to
collect goodies. Shoot aliens through windows. Flicking each switch by the two
hall-end monitors opens door on far side (Supplies and armory), so get inside
before it closes, shooting slimers. Open cupboard in Supplies room for secret
medikit.

Go through central door and hit right switch to turn on lights. Shoot aliens
who come round corner. Blow open marked right wall and jump up to secret area.
You can explore tunnels to other rooms, but there are lots of slimers, so it is
best to exit back to main passage. Enter dark room on left and blast aliens and
pods. Enter wall opposite water fountain for secret place and pipe bombs. Take
lift up to control room and shoot aliens, then collect blue key and ammo. Open
left panel for holoduke. Right switch opens Radioactive Materials door below
for a few seconds: send lift down first, then hit switch and drop down to run
for door.

In red room, pick up devastator and blast enforcers. Grab healing atom from
ledge. Exit and shoot octabrains, then open panel to left of Radioactive
Materials door for secret area - shoot enforcer and open panel for goodies.
Back outside, open east door and retreat to avoid drones. Enter and go forward
to avoid laser tripbomb explosions. Grab devastator ammo from by door, then go
round and blast enforcers.

Go through door and shoot round corner to blow up canisters. Watch out for
ceiling turret, drones, and enforcers. Go back and open door on left of first
corridor and blast aliens in toilet to grab the goodies. Go to end of passage
and jump into hole for RPG. Unlock blue key door and go through.

Get boots and medikit, then blast octabrains and enforcers in room. Hit switch
to create walkway to opposite ledge. Blast more enforcers on other side, then
grab goodies including freeze thrower and scuba gear. Use lift near entrance to
drop into water for goggles and red key. From water, open secret panels on left
and right walls. Blow marked wall near exit for another secret area (which
leads back to door in main passage).

Head east and shoot vent by corner. When you land in it, a door opens
temporarily back in passage, so jetpack back and through it (on corner). Back
in vent, grab goodies, then shoot open grille and drop into room to kill
octabrains and pods - by entering here instead of through red key door (on
bridge), you avoid triggering large monster. Blow canisters and drop into hole
to enter passage by fire. Follow it round and jump to red section at end. Shoot
grille and enforcer on other side. Hit button to complete mission.

Note: You can unlock the door back to monster room from here to confront the
big bugger if you want to.


Mission 7: Lunar Reactor
When lift opens, shoot alien and open left panel for shotgun and goggles. Watch
out for drones, aliens, and slimers around corner. Hit switch to light area.
Explore vents for goodies, shooting slimers. Head south to open only unlocked
door and shoot assault commander. Enter toilets and hit switch to turn on
lights. Shoot enforcer and open cubicles to shoot aliens and collect goodies,
including blue key - and devastator ammo behind grille.

Return to corridor and shoot more enforcers. Unlock blue key door to access
Crew Quarters. Watch out for drone, enforcers, and slimers. Open vent high to
right for devastator ammo. At end of passage you meet another big monster -
shoot RPG at his head. Explore vent near exit for healing atom.

Through door, shoot loads of aliens and enforcers. Blast left marked wall to
get more goodies, including freeze thrower. Head through right wall and drop
down red section.

Flick switch to part walls, then run to right alcove for medikit and shotgun
ammo. Open southwest pillar for secret area with healing atoms. Shoot vent open
by wall to left of alcove, then hit switch in alcove to move wall and run
quickly into vent. Shoot next grille and drop down to shoot aliens and turret.
Open far computer panel for secret area. Either jetpack or jump over to blue
ledge. Grab yellow key from left nook. Shoot aliens round corner. When you
reach crack in floor, ceiling collapses, so retreat quickly. Return and enter
right hole. Follow passage, shooting slimers. From bridge, jump/jetpack left to
secret cavern. Float to canyon floor to collect jetpack. Use it to head north
and find secret cavern on right (past blue ledge, but lower) with shrinker and
ammo - and octabrains.

Return to bridge and follow passage up. Shoot grille and octabrains on other
side. Grab goggles on ledge and freeze thrower from right. Proceed down slime
river, ignoring stairway on right for now. Let gear carry you round to passage.
Go through to room and shoot enforcers, before grabbing red key. Open left
panel on far wall for secret area with holoduke and freezer ammo.

Return to slime via gear and enter that stairway you bypassed before. Go up and
shoot alien, then unlock red key door. Get ready for attack by two commanders
as you go through.

Head right to unlock yellow key door to Reactor Core. Open it and grab
devastator ammo, but retreat and close it to avoid two big monsters to left -
there's an easier way to tackle them. Enter vent to right of passage and head
right. Jump up at end and head right. Turn right at junction, then left from
'05'. To the right from pipe bombs is a grate leading to monsters: they can't
hit you, and one will shoot the other in the back! Finish off the remaining one
with pistol fire to the head.

Drop through and grab goodies near monitor, then shoot enforcer. Head upstairs
and shoot another enforcer and aliens to left and right. Grab goodies,
including goggles and devastator ammo. Head back downstairs and down other
stairs there to dark room with enforcers to shoot. Open door leading to core.

Inside, shoot enforcers and aliens, then grab ammo. Flick special switch in
control room to lower core shield. A single RPG shot will destroy it, summoning
assault commander from west exit. Before leaving, check out secret alcoves to
north and south. When you go through the exit, explosions greet you, so retreat
to core room to avoid damage. Now go through and head left, blasting three more
commanders on way to destruct button.


Mission 8: Dark Side
Leave lift and go round corner to shoot enforcer and pods. Take lift down and
shoot aliens. Open door and blast aliens and enforcers, watching out for
drones. Open tactical display for secret area. Go through Alpha Transport door
and shoot aliens. Blow wall opposite switch for secret area - shoot pod to get
medikits and devastator. Flick switch to make alien-filled shuttle arrive -
fire RPG at them. Flick switch inside to be transported to other end, and more
aliens. Get freezer ammo from panel.

Follow corridor and shoot enforcers. When you run into room, explosion blows
wall on left, revealing pods and enforcer - plus chaingun and medikit. Grab
devastator ammo near door and go through. Blast hordes of aliens to left and
right. Collect goodies, including holoduke. Open wall between tanks and
monitors (in either left or right area) to find secret area: take lift up to
passage with aliens, where you can drop into water tanks for goodies. Watch out
for more aliens back in room. Jump onto conveyor belt and crouch to be
transported, timing your move past crushers. Drop into red room and shoot
octabrains below water, then grab pipe bombs. Hail lift, with alien, then take
it up and open door to next room.

Fire pipe bombs into lower holes to kill slimers, then enter for goodies -
jetpack into upper holes for more. Grab blue key and go through south door and
up ramp to previous tanks room, shooting enforcers. Make your way back to
shuttle, shooting more enforcers. Take it back and go down passage to unlock
blue key door on right.

Shoot alien and take lift up to blue room and more aliens. Grab armor, goggles,
and medikit, then open door to circular walkway. Follow it round, shooting
three enforcers. Open tactical display for secret area with shrinker and trip
bombs. Take shuttle and shoot enforcers at other end. Open panel for medikit.
Take lift down and shoot enforcers. Enter vent and shoot alien and slimers
while collecting healing atom. Return to room and open blue door.

When you enter passage, other end explodes and enforcers arrive. Jump into
holes in wall for ammo. Open door and watch out for drones. Shoot enforcers on
circular walkway. Rather than dropping into pit, backtrack to earlier vent and
follow to red room to shoot octabrains. Head left to blast cocoons and blow
marked wall for secret pipe bombs. Jump up to walkway and exit, shooting more
enforcers. Be ready for assault commanders and enforcers in next room. Open
large doors on left to reveal reactor core - stand aside to avoid damage. Lob
in bomb, close doors and stand well back to detonate huge explosion. You can
now climb ramp to ledge with yellow key.

Make your way back to yellow key door (in same passage as blue lock), which
leads to Beta Transport. Shoot enforcer and flick switch to hail shuttle, then
ride it - during journey, press through doorway against left wall to enter
secret place with teleporter back to shuttle station. Take shuttle again and
shoot aliens at other end. Grab devastator, plus armor from panel. Follow
passage, ready for drone and enforcers. Open door and shoot aliens, then grab
ammo. Open left door and shoot alien and slimers to collect more goodies.

Open red tunnel door to emerge in large arena: watch out for lots of drones.
Take lift up and climb ramp, shooting enforcers and aliens. Flick switch to
reveal healing atom and turn off forcefield down below. Either backtrack down
ramp or drop through hole and shoot more enemies, including commanders when you
enter narrow east passage. Follow it round, shooting enforcers and commander.
Blow marked wall and follow tunnel to room with aliens. Enter black slab from
behind to teleport to new area. Blast octabrain and pods. Follow slime passage
and shoot octabrains to reach underwater destruct button, or?

Secret Mission: Blast marked wall high to right of slab (in slime cavern) to
access secret area - and secret mission, Lunatic Fringe.


Mission 9: Overlord
Swim down tunnel, watching out for octabrains, and surface in pool. Enter false
red wall either side of window to find secret passage. Press all round green
switches by tactical displays, except second one from left, to lower central
column. Jump onto it for freezer ammo, and to open secret panel behind opposite
column (by vent).

Press alien hand switch to open north door and blast octabrains round bend.
Open planet panel for goodies. Blow hole in left marked wall for medikit. Open
door to room with enforcers, slimers, and aliens. Head right to ramp passage
and shoot down at them from there. Blow left passage wall by corner for secret
area. Blast enforcer and pods upstairs, then octabrains. Jump right into
waterfall for secret healing atom. Jump to south ledge and shoot more enemies.
Head up ramp, shooting enforcers and pods. Blast hanging girls and shoot
octabrains.

Hit switch to turn off forcefield in vent at bottom of ramps. Enter it and
shoot octabrains in room with spinning blade - drop onto it for healing atom.
Jump to left tunnel for pipe bombs (it leads back to pool room). Jump from
blade to right tunnel. Shoot enforcers and open other end to room with aliens.
Kill them and drop in to collect goodies (door leads back to pool room). Return
via vent to blade room and drop down to floor. Shoot canisters to cause chain
reaction, blowing up pods. Jump into flashing hole to explore underwater
passage for goodies, shooting octabrains.

Now go back up and approach that door, which opens to reveal a toothy monster.
Blast him with devastator - if you're in trouble, lure him out and enter his
room, then close the door and stock up on goodies. When you exit room again, a
secret panel opens on opposite side of large room - run there to collect lots
of goodies. Once the big guy's dead, the mission is complete and duke can take
a well-earned dump!


Episode 3: Shrapnel City

Mission 1: Raw Meat
Open right panel for devastator, then shoot enforcer. Head to far right corner
of roof to shoot down at aliens below. Jump down, watching out for drones. Jump
from green slope to ledge for chaingun and healing atom. Head up ramp into
building, shooting enforcers and high turret. Jump over right wall for pipe
bombs and healing atom. Blow marked wall there to reveal water pool. Quickly
grab chaingun ammo and surface outside to avoid octabrains and sharks.

Go back up ramp and shoot turret in building. When you approach Dukai Sushi
sign, panel opens on left to reveal turret. Jump up into white wall round
corner from sign for secret area with chaingun ammo. Exit and proceed down main
passage and left door opens. Kill aliens inside and open left wall for jetpack.
Open Exotica Tonight poster for secret place and shrinker. Open opposite door
and crouch into tunnel to reach monitor and switch - flick it. Return to
passage and open next door for medikit - kill two aliens who appear behind.
Blow marked wall for ammo and medikits: go through gap back to passage to
collect goggles. Open menu by bar for secret armor.

Go through opened door at passage end and shoot canisters to blow pods and
aliens. Collect goodies and shoot octabrains. Open left wall (behind screen) to
find large pool. Jetpack over to collect scuba gear, but don't bother diving in
yet. Return to slime room, open east door, and shoot enforcers. Grab blue key
and ammo. Operating till makes teleports appear in previous rooms.

Return to blue key lock and unlock it to open bar. Kill pig cops and head left
into karaoke bar. Get RPG from behind right speaker. Activate microphone for
some karaoke! Go round into food bar and grab goodies from conveyor. Open low
cupboard for goggles, then operate left wall inside to open right panel for
more goodies. Press hand opposite cupboard to open freezer on west wall. Open
vent and jump in for trip bombs. Shoot fan and drop pipe bombs onto enforcers
below. Either drop through or backtrack and enter via door. Shoot remaining
enforcers and aliens. Open wine rack to right of entrance for secret place.
Open panel for medikit. Open wall above meat grill for jetpack. Open freezer
for lots of ammo, then shoot more aliens. Dive into water tub and hit switch to
open door to large pool. Lob in bombs to blast octabrains, pods, and girls.
Flick far switch to remove forcefield and get red key.

Return to room via tub and shoot pig cops downstairs before unlocking red key
door. Switch opens large door back to pool. Instead, go up ramp and blast
enforcers. When you reach top, explosion opens up way to red room. Shoot aliens
by flames and hit destruct button.


Mission 2: Bank Roll
Grab pipe bombs on right, then jump to ledge for shotgun. Shoot pig cops on
opposite ledge, then drop down and shoot bins for steroids. Jump in skip for
medikit, then shoot cop. Go round corner and shoot enforcers and cops -
including one in hovercar. Proceed west and grab devastator ammo, then open
either cash machine for secret chaingun - watch out for assault commander
outside. Return east and head towards south door, which opens to release
commander and cops. Inside, grab freeze thrower, healing atom, and chaingun
ammo.

Take lift up and blast four enforcers and cop. Grab goodies and hit button on
desk to drop bookcase - enter for blue key. Picture on west wall will also have
opened, revealing a secret devastator. Take lift back down and head outside,
shooting more cops. Unlock blue key door up steps and go through. Shoot cop to
right, then button above him to open secret holoduke opposite. Head north and
shoot turrets and cops. Open picture in office for secret place. Hit button on
desk to unlock Secured Area.

Go through and shoot enforcers. Grab medikit and shrinker, then hit three
switches on desk to open small door. Enter and jump up to get boots, and rotate
gears. Jump through left gap in gears and onto Alpha platform. Go through gaps,
past Beta platform, to Delta platform. Jump on it and run through large gap to
revealed doorway. Flick switch and take lift up. Shoot cops and grab red key.
Hit button to open panel for boots and jetpack. Jump down to gamma gear and
blow marked wall, to reveal secret short cut back to red key door.

Unlock and open vault door, revealing monster. Shoot canisters to cause big
explosion. Retreat and use holoduke to lure out octabrains. Go through hole
blown open to right. Before heading down dark east tunnel to hit destruct
button, you can explore to find ammo and RPG on ledge where you shot cops at
start.


Mission 3: Flood Zone
Open panel behind you for scuba gear - however, if you already have one, better
come back later for it. Proceed down stream, shooting octabrains. Watch for
drone as you emerge outside on right ledge. Shoot enforcers, then drop into
water and dive down. Grab RPG ammo down to left of building and goggles from
surface by building. Dive below overhang for freezer ammo, then jetpack round
to right and up into tunnel with alien for chaingun. Open window to enter
secret area for more ammo. Dive into water nearby for freezer ammo and armor.

Swim down into passage to left of neon sign. Shoot octabrain and grab ammo and
healing atom. Surface here and blast aliens, including one above. Grab ammo and
climb up rocks in northwest corner, grabbing medikit, blue key, and devastator
ammo. There's a false wall left of top step, into empty secret area. Shoot
enforcers on building roof opposite. Jump into tunnel and proceed up ramp,
watching out for drone and assault commander as you reach rooftop with red key
lock. Jump onto neon sign for healing atom, then drop into water and dive down.
Swim through passage again and round to blue key door.

Open it and blast octabrains and slimers inside. Grab yellow key from bottom in
northeast corner, plus ammo near door. Return round to waterfall where you
started and dive down to enter building window, shooting octabrains. Surface
for medikit, then unlock yellow door. Go through, climb stairs, and open door.

Shoot enforcers and grab ammo and shrinker from east ledge. Jump up to healing
atom in northwest corner and open wall there for secret place and jetpack. Jump
onto fans on roof and southeast ledge opens to reveal commanders. After
blasting them, jump over there to find goggles. Use them to see message: 'The
Crack Below'. Hence dive into water here to find marked wall: blow it to access
large cave. Shoot sharks and grab ammo and scuba gear. Surface and blast
octabrains and pods on secret area, then grab shrinker ammo and devastator.

Exit and jetpack back up to rooftop. Go through to the northeast part, blasting
the assault commanders which come from the high cave opposite. Jetpack over
there for more ammo. Head back down the stairs from the rooftop. Submerge at
the bottom and continue down round the underwater stairs. Shoot the octabrains
by the out of order lift, then flick the switch to open the windows and raise
that neon sign to reveal the red key.

Get back up to the red key lock and open the large door, then shoot the two
enforcers. Press the 'Hard Hat Area' sign on the crates to open secret place in
crates with enforcer and medikits. Kill octabrains in water, then follow tunnel
to right. Jump over gap to get healing atom, then drop down shaft to find exit
button.


Mission 4: LA Rumble
Grab those goodies, including pipe bombs from the end of the tunnel, then head
right and blast the marked wall to right. Go through this secret passage,
collecting the freeze thrower, to emerge outside. Kill enforcers, then the cops
on far ledge. Drop down and run round to the right and blast the cops there, by</pre><pre id="faqspan-2">
the girl. Get the shotgun ammo from the bin and go through the door.

Turn right to blast alien and collect goggles from the office. Open the east
wall as you approach the north doorway, to find ammo and medikit. Watch out for
enforcers behind you as you enter the north room. Grab the blue key and open
the cupboard under the knife for secret healing atom. Now blast the marked wall
and the cops there. Grab devastator from far left shaft. Enter working lift and
go up. Blast the turret to left and grab some nice devastator ammo. Shoot the
assault commander who comes from lift shaft and head south to rooftop. Shoot
aliens to left, then blast assault commander and aliens on ledges below,
including those by big screen and open window.

If you want some extra goodies, jump down to the ledge by north wall and head
east and jump to far ledge for ammo. Head south round curved ledge for lots
more ammo, shooting any cops that remain.

Back up on rooftop, jump right to small red ledge with healing atoms. Leap over
to the big screen and collect the ammo. Carefully jump up the platforms there
to enter the open window. Inside, shoot the aliens and assault commander who
comes through the window. Collect the goodies from offices, including holoduke
and shrinker ammo, then head upstairs.

Blast enforcers and cops, then grab the red key and goodies, including ammo in
cupboard and secret devastator ammo from behind northeast picture.

Press the button (behind chair) on desk to open the south wall, then quickly
enter. Shoot enforcer and aliens, then use red key. Now open the south cupboard
to reveal teleport. Use it to emerge by the exit button.


Mission 5: Movie Set
The level starts with Duke's chopper crashing into the far wall. Turn round and
grab shotgun and ammo, then shoot pig cops behind counter. Head north into dark
tunnel and blast enforcer and cops there. Grab blue key and goggles - using
them reveals a message. Return behind the counter where you blasted the cops
before and activate the right cash till to temporarily open a secret place
behind the snacks machine - so use steroids and run back round there to find
some healing atoms.

Return to the street and head east, then turn around to blast the cops who
arrive behind you. Edge forward to lure out the drones from the right, then
blast the assault commander. Go over to crashed chopper to find medikits and
ammo. Jump from slope up to wall and over to narrow sill below Lunar Apocalypse
poster. Walk through the triangular 3D Realms logo and head upstairs to secret
place with healing atom, freeze thrower, and devastator ammo - but watch out
for the assault commander turning up outside.

Open the blue key door near the start and blast the enforcer, cop and turrets.
The large right door opens as you approach, so shoot the aliens which arrive.
Grab the devastator ammo and jump to east crate via the cameras for a healing
atom. Activate the crate in northwest corner to open secret panel above.

Climb up the crates and enter the west vent. Go forward to the T junction and
head left all the way round, blasting slimers. Fire down through the last vent
at the cops and enforcers below. Drop down and finish them off, then collect
the yellow key, jetpack, and various ammo. When you open the Stage 17A door
back to the crates room, more enforcers appear and the south door opens to
release cops and an assault commander. Blast them and return through door to
open yellow key door.

Go through and blast the fire extinguisher near the end of the corridor to blow
up some enforcers below and blow open a hole with healing atom. Drop down into
the spaceship set to collect the red key and other goodies. Jump up into the
middle of the earth picture for a secret place with jetpack and shrinker.
Jetpack up to the south vent above here to find a healing atom and switch to
open up the rest of the vent system.

Return through the crates room to Stage 17B and unlock the red key door. Once
you enter, a big boss appears back out on the street. Flick the switch and grab
the goodies on top of the console before dealing with him. Once you've blasted
the swine, head back into the northwest dark passage with the vending machines
and head down the stairs. As you approach the exit button, an explosion lets
rip and some aliens appear. Once you've shot them, grab the medikit and hit
that button.

Secret Mission: Alternatively, to access the secret level, Tier Drops, activate
the large USA sign on the space station set (Stage 17B) to open a panel with
another destruct button.


Mission 6: Rabid Transit
Grab the shotgun and medikit and head through the revolving doors. Blast the
alien and turret. Enter the magazine shop and get ready to blast more aliens
and cops. Grab the goodies and activate the cash till to lower the middle
bookcase and reveal some goggles.

Head south to the large room to shoot more cops. Get ammo and medikit from the
bins and activate the snack machine to find healing atom and pipe bombs. Jump
on and off the red magazine racks by phone to open low secret panel with
holoduke. Open the Lunar Apocalypse poster for secret place with chaingun -
close it from inside to avoid drones which appear.

Blow the laser beams, then wait for the two trains to pass so you can run
behind them on the track. Grab the devastator ammo from the right panel last
the marked wall nearby and enter secret place for healing atom, steroids, and
devastator ammo. Wait for the trains to pass again, then leg it left back to
the station.

Grab the goodies from each train and ride one to the next station. Get out and
blast the pig cops, then collect laser trip bombs. Look right from platform
edge to shoot enforcers on red ledge further down line. Get on next train and
jump off onto ledge to collect blue key, medikit, and armor. Wait for the two
trains to pass, then head back left to the platform. Unlock the blue key door
and kill the horde of cops in the long room. Activate the post box to open the
No Loitering sign above it for secret RPG ammo.

In the next room, you'll be ambushed by octabrains and big boss. A good way to
deal with them is to drop the holoduke near the entrance, then enter and exit
the room to lure out the foes and trigger an explosion. Once they're squished,
look through the hole in the wall to lure out an assault commander. Grab the
red key from the end of the dark tunnel, plus healing atom and devastator ammo.

Open the wall near the start of the tunnel (west end) to enter a secret room.
Grab the ammo and shoot another assault commander. Flick the switch on the
console to reveal some girls - grab the goodies near them, then shoot them to
summon more octabrains.

Back on the platform, wait for the trains to pass, then head right to the red
key door (opposite the red ledge). Enter and dodge the assault commanders'
fire. Head down either ramp and blast them. Shoot the girl on the ledge, then
the octabrains which appear. Shoot the marked wall in the southwest corner. The
hole created leads back to the track - instead, jump from the rubble to the
bookcase. Shoot enforcers which arrive and grab healing atom before entering
secret place behind lowered bookcase.

Finally, drop into the water and shoot the octabrains. Grab the shrinker and
enter the tunnel below the fountain to surface by the exit button.


Mission 7: Fahrenheit
Grab the medikits behind you, then activate the skip to swing it out of the
way. Enter next room and shoot alien and cop on right ledge, then more foes
through to the left. Grab ammo, then jump into west stream where you shot the
first foe. Jump into south pool and submerge to blast octabrains. Grab shotgun
from west end, then shrinker from east. Surface by latter to find blue key,
ammo, and medikit.

Return to pool and jump out into previous room. Go down ramp to unlock blue key
door. Edge slowly in and out of room to lure drones, cops, and aliens - use
holoduke if you have one. Watch out for the high turret as you circle round to
the left, and the alien on the crates.

Jump up the crates and through the north window, where you're attacked by more
cops. Grab the steroids and ammo. Open the west painting for a secret freeze
thrower - but be ready for the turret there. Blasting the east marked wall
blows a hole back to the room with the stream and pool. As indicated by the
message on the dark wall, blast the bottles and walk through the cabinet to
find another secret place.

Return to the crates and grab the goodies from the top. Jump to the crate in
the southeast corner and blast the aliens, enforcers, and turret on the other
side. Drop down there and you can open the north iron door back to the blue key
lock, but watch out for an assault commander. Blast the turret in the corner
and approach the fire engine carefully. A couple of enforcers arrive: back up
and deal with them first before entering the station and blasting the cops.
Grab the medikit and jump on the engine for holoduke and shotgun ammo.

Blast the marked south wall and go through. Grab the shrinker ammo on the left
before heading upstairs. Be prepared for the two assault commanders in the hall
at the top. Flick the wall switch and drop by down the pole to collect the
yellow key and return to the fire engine.

Head round to the north to find the yellow key door - and two enforcers. Go
through and blast some more. Then head upstairs and into right passage,
shooting aliens. Open the door at the end to reveal a secret place with more
aliens and the red key. Head back south and you can open the right door to
collect more goodies from the rooftop, but watch out for drones. Opening the
south doors reveals an assault commander and enforcer. Once you've blasted
them, walk through the curtain for a secret place with healing atom and freezer
ammo.

Now return to the pool and swim east to surface by the red lock again (where
you found the blue key before). When you open the door, it reveals a big boss
and some enforcers. Your best bet is to retreat in the water and blast them
from distance. Now enter and flick the switch for an RPG. Blast the marked wall
(if it hasn't already blown) and jump up through the hole. Grab the medikits in
the cave before hitting the destruct button.


Mission 8: Motel Hell
You can see the end-of-level destruct button through the crack to your right,
but getting there won't be that easy. Proceed north outside and shoot the cops
which arrive as you approach the fence. Collect the goodies, including chaingun
and medikit in skip. Jump from the latter to the east ledge. Collect ammo and
steroids and jump up to the higher ledge for shotgun ammo and the blue key.
Drop down and unlock the blue key door.

Enter and shoot cop. As you proceed down the hall, an explosion occurs. Flick
light switch and head right to the ruined bathroom: back into it and shoot
enforcer. Grab RPG, devastator ammo, and medikits. Head west into large room
and shoot enforcer. Grab goodies and head south to find enforcers and a big
boss. Retreat and blast them, then enter the room to find goodies, including
medikit in panel. Flick switch to open wall opposite it to find night goggles.
Head south to grab shotgun ammo and medikit, but don't smash window to rooftop
or you'll be swamped with foes.

Instead, return north and go through west Exit door. Shoot cops and grab
goodies. Blast flying cars through south doorway. Head south and round left
corner to shoot more cops up ramp, including those through the windows at the
end. Enter through window and grab devastator and medikits, plus yellow key
from behind picture - but watch out for assault commander who arrives.

Exit and head north through glass doors to return to lobby. Use yellow key to
unlock both doors - to lift and staircase. The latter is the safest bet, so you
can shoot some cops on the way up. Blast enforcers to left, then head into
right corridor to shoot cops. Hit the fire extinguishers to blow holes back to
the street, revealing an assault commander and monster below. Shoot them, then
grab the goodies from the ledge.

Enter corridor doors to bedrooms and shoot more cops, then collect goodies,
including shrinker in vent. Continue left round corridor, shooting more cops,
and past the east reception desk. Open the wine rack to find a holoduke. Open
the fridges to find lots of beer (!) and medikits. Open the wall to the right
of them for a secret place with medikit and ramp leading up to a panel with
scuba gear and pipe bombs. Drop one into the shark tank to your left and dive
in to collect a freeze thrower.

Head east to the pool and shoot more cops. Jump onto the ledge above the
Lifeguard Not On Duty sign and shoot the enforcers over the way, including
those through the windows. Now dive in the water and splatter those octabrains,
then blow the north marked wall. Swim through the hole and surface by the
bright corner to get the healing atom from the bathroom.

Surface back in the pool and use the night goggles in the west dark area to see
a message 'Behind The Fountain'. If you jump into the pool waterfall (between
the fires), you'll emerge in a cave. Go the end and press the red hand to open
the wall to the right. Head past the red fires into the secret place. Follow it
round to the pedestal with the healing atoms. Collecting the latter causes the
cave to collapse, so exit quickly (see Secret Mission).

Return to the pool, jump onto the ledge again, and head for the open windows
over the street which you shot through earlier. Inside, enter the vent and
follow it round to drop in by the exit button.

Secret Mission: Blast the trees near the red hand to reveal an alternate
destruct button, leading to the final secret mission, Freeway.


Mission 9: The Big Game
It is time for the final showdown with the monster from hell. You start the
mission, rising in a cylinder until you emerge in the middle of a football
field, with the big bugger right in front of you! Not only does he look mean,
but it only takes a direct hit from one of his missile attacks to kill you.

There's no point trying to fight him on the ground as you'll surely get buried.
So at the start, before you even rise to the field, activate your jetpack and
soar high above the big brute.

There are a few pick-ups around the pitch, but you can get many more by blowing
up the Duf Beer blimp with the RPG, resulting in loads of lovely power-ups
scattered over the pitch.

Using the jetpack, move diagonally across the pitch to blast the swine with RPG
shots, continually adjusting your aim. Continue past him and to the far corner,
then move up/down to avoid any incoming fire. You can use a medikit if you need
to. Turn around, get to the right height, and make another pass. Your height
for attacks is crucial - too low and the monster will blast you; too high and
you won't be able to adjust your aim quickly enough.

Obviously your juice will run out at some point, so you'll need to land and
grab another jetpack, medikits, and ammo. Use steroids and run away from the
monster, but avoid any more steroids or they'll knock you back down to normal
pace. Note that there are two healing atoms in each end zone.

When the cheerleaders get killed, assault commanders and aliens will arrive,
but don't bother targeting them - concentrate on the main man.

Keep blasting away with these tactics and it will take 25+ good shots to finish
off your opponent.


Episode 4: Plug & Pray

Mission 1: Nightmare Zone
It is a long way down, so carefully cross the bridge. Open the doors and stay
put to shoot the aliens. Run past the turrets either side of the doors. Grab
the pipe bombs and shotgun from the east end of the cavern, watching out for a
drone. Head round to the right, shooting another alien, to find a bridge by a
waterfall. Drop into the water to the left to collect some pipe bombs. Head
over the bridge and grab the armor. Blast the marked wall open to find a secret
place with an RPG. At the end is a pool room with a couple of drones and a
medikit. Drop into the water for RPG ammo - the tunnel's a dead end (for now).

Return all the way to the doors, watching out for trip bombs, and blast the two
turrets. Head along the north ledge and jump left into the passage to shoot
some aliens and collect shotgun ammo. Turn left at the end and head up the
passage, killing the octabrains, to emerge at the top of the waterfall (note
the short cut passage on the left, back to the big cavern). Grab the medikit
and jump over to the opposite ledge for shotgun ammo.

Hit the switch there and blast the octabrains which arrive. When you hear the
sound of a door closing, hit the switch again and drop down the waterfall, head
right into the cavern, and blow the laser trip bombs beyond the opened east
door. If the door shuts before you can enter, return to the top of the
waterfall to hit the switch again). Blast the aliens in the room, then run over
all four floor switches to open the doors in the northeast corner - get up
there before they close.

Head forward to collect the shotgun ammo and go down the ramp and shoot the
enforcers - there are more lurking around the sides of this large room. Drop in
nearby water to north. Shoot vent on southwest pillar and hit button. Enter
small room to east to kill octabrain and enforcer. Grab chaingun. Head north,
then east to twin passages.

Enter south pool room - shoot octabrains. Drop into water, follow west tunnel,
blast turret. Dive down to grab scuba gear from north passage - hit button.
Head down south tunnel and blast pods and marked wall - hit button to right.
Passage leads back to other small pool (with button you pressed earlier). All
three buttons needed to open west door back at underwater crossroads. Go
through, dive down to find large room. Blast pods and octabrains. Blow wall to
left of entrance to find shotgun ammo. Head north and grab chaingun from right
passage, then blow left vent for blue access card. Surface above central square
slab. Open either north door and blast guards. Follow east corridor (pipe bombs
in right alcove) to room, shooting more guards. Blow marked wall and drop into
pool. Shoot southwest vent open and follow to surface in long pool - kill
guards. Head west and follow corridor round to find yellow key - prepare for
trip bombs, turrets, and guards when you collect it. Grab healing atom, flick
west switch.

Step in southeast corner to open door just to north - run through and shoot
guard, grab chaingun. Hit south switch open east door, leading back to earlier
corridor. Open either south door to return to pool. Dive in and retrace route
to original pool room.

Exit to main chamber and head for south side under bridge. Be ready for trip
bombs and enforcers - grab portable medikit to right. Follow passage round to
room with blue key door. Open it and enter door to find yellow key lock. Unlock
it to open all three doors - watch out for enforcer from right. Enter north
room from yellow lock to collect ammo. Stand in northeast corner to open secret
door, releasing guard. Shoot him, then reopen that door and follow passage
round, shooting another guard. Hit the button and switch, then blow the marked
wall to return to room north of yellow lock. Shoot more enforcers, then grab
medikit and devastator ammo from opened corner.

Head up south stairs to room with drones. Hit switch to lower bottom of pool -
drop in and shoot floor grille to collect RPG. Open northwest vent and follow
tunnel to pool room with stairs. Head up them and hit button, then jump east
over pool and back downstairs to yellow lock. Now enter west room and shoot
enforcers. Jump over to northwest passage and open door to collect red key.
Jump back up platforms to return to yellow lock.

Retrace your steps via blue lock to the main chamber: head north, then east to
two passages. Take left one down to red key lock. Before opening it, you can
blow the marked wall to reveal a pool with octabrains: blast pods underwater
and collect ammo. By shooting buttons above pool, you can raise pillars to
reach window to ledge above earlier pool for ammo. You can also flick
underwater switch (in blown hole pool) to open tunnel with steroids and aliens,
leading to pool with enforcers above.

Return to red key door and open it. Follow passage to canyon and shoot
octabrains. Head right along ledge to find chaingun ammo. Now select map to
spot near-invisible walkway and follow it, past tripbomb, to reach destruct
button.


Mission 2: Trackside Tragedy
Blast the aliens after the explosion, then collect the shotgun, RPG ammo,
medikit, and pipe bombs. Enter hole and jump up to passage. Follow it round and
crouch into left passage (spot it on map). Follow this to find secret place
with pipe bombs in lift. Return to original passage and follow it to pool. Dive
down for shotgun ammo, then follow underwater tunnel to large pool. Watch out
for drones as you collect scuba gear.

Return through tunnel to small pool and back along passage to first room. Go
down west hall and open door. Enter left door and blast aliens. Collect ammo
and healing atom. Return to corridor and head north to trigger explosion. Open
next left door and blast more aliens to collect armor and trip bombs. Continue
north along corridor and shoot aliens and drones in blown hole, then collect
chaingun. At end of corridor, grab shotgun ammo and turn left to blast aliens
in room.

Head down east corridor, past yellow key door, to room with cop and blue key
door. Open Hospitality Suite door and take lift up to room. Shoot turret at end
of corridor, then go round and blast cop and drone. Wait for cop to step into
tripbombed entrance, then grab medikit and go through to blast more cops.

Go behind desk to shoot cop and hit switch to open wall opposite, revealing a
cop and chaingun ammo. Open north door and blast aliens in waiting room. Go
through to bar and blast aliens, but not dancing girls. Open south door and
blast cop and drone. Enter and take lift up. Turn left to shoot cop and aliens.
Blow tripbomb at end to destroy carcasses and grab yellow key.

Retrace your steps to the yellow key door and open it. Shoot cops and alien
inside, then grab chaingun ammo and enter green lift. Take it down to large
green room and blast aliens and pods. Enter southwest passage and blast horde
of aliens at end to grab goodies and blue key. Back in room, press switch on
west side of X to open shutters. Destroy turret through window and jump through
to collect a holoduke from the northeast corner. Flick other switches on X, but
watch out for more foes appearing.

Take lift back up and blast cop and alien by blue key door. Open it and follow
blue corridor, shooting alien and cop. Get shotgun from bin, then return to
lift (blue floor) just before entrance. Take it up to reach door to Restricted
Area. Open it and shoot more aliens. Flick Pit Lock and Force Field switches,
then continue along the corridor to shoot aliens through windows and grab
healing atom from end.

You can't jump down there, so return to lift and take it down. Go back down
blue corridor where you can now open wide door at east end. Blast drones and
assault commanders which attack, and turret in left window.

Open east door to emerge on a Wipeout-style racetrack. Before opening the large
Danger doors just to the right, head left for a tour of the track, blasting
more enemies and collecting ammo. Taking the left at the first fork to find the
shutters to the earlier rooms, some of which can be raised.

Take a left at the next fork to return to the Danger doors. Open them and blast
that big boss inside. Shoot the turrets and grab the ammo, then flick the
switch on the far side to open the door. Blast the cops and grab lots of ammo.
Hit the middle two buttons to open the red tunnel - in the southwest wall of
the boss room. Enter it and shoot cops and turret at the end to grab red key.

Return to track and go to the big conveyor ramp (right from second fork). Drop
onto ledge to left of it and hit switch to extend walkway on other side of
pool. Now save your game before taking the big jump over there. Hop over to red
key door and open it. Run past turrets' fire to hit the destruct button.


Mission 3: Gates Motel
Open the doors and shoot the enforcers. Grab medikit from left corner and head
round corridor behind fireplace, shooting another enforcer. Open door to
bedroom and grab medikit. Return to main room, then go through south door and
shoot enforcer. Open right door and blast pods before collecting armor and
shotgun.

Open south door to library and blast enforcer. Walk into right alcove to make
bookcase to left of plant swivel. Go to left of it (switch swivels it back) and
follow steps down to grey door. Enter dark room and blast enforcers, then grab
ammo and goggles from top of west crates. Open left east door and shoot
enforcer, then drop into well for pipe bombs - flick switch to rise again. Blow
marked west wall in dark room: enter hole to collect RPG. Enter right east door
and use goggles to see Library Exit switch - flick it.

Return upstairs to the library and shoot the enforcers through the newly opened
east door. Collect holoduke from floor and blast octabrains. Follow east
passage down to doors. Open them and blast enforcer on hedge. Enter maze and
use map to negotiate it, shooting more enforcers on ground and hedges. Grab
healing atom from middle and lots of ammo and trip bombs from the east side,
watching out for octabrains.

Head up ramp to shoot cops and find red key lock. Go right to find a narrow
hallway and more cops. Turn right to enter a room with medikit by a bath full
of blood. Return along the narrow hallway and open first door on left. Activate
headboard to lower bed. Drop down there and head north through secret passage
to open doors to bedroom. Grab yellow key from southwest corner, then flick
switch by bed to unlock north door back to corridor.

Return to red lock and head west to yellow key door to open it. When you enter,
an explosion occurs. Return east to enter other door on balcony. Follow it
round, shooting cops and open first door on left. Blast more cops and drop into
hole. Shoot cop and follow passage to find blue key. Jump back out of hole and
open east door to shoot cops by ramp. Go round the other side and follow
passage to (unlocked) yellow key door. Open it and go downstairs, blasting
enforcers, including those behind doors. Follow northwest passage and shoot
enforcers through first door. Continue round and enter right door to shoot
cops, then crouch through fire for secret portable medikit. Continue down
passage, shooting cops. Press button and open lift. Shoot enforcer inside, then
take it up to hallway. Run towards far (original yellow key) door, triggering
explosion.

Return through other north balcony door round (past room with hole in floor) to
ramp where you shot cops. Go down and unlock blue key door. Shoot cops inside
and grab red key. Smash glass to bedroom (with ugly kid in bed) and go through
it. Go down stairs to toilets and shoot enforcer. Dive into toilet and shoot
octabrains to grab steroids.

Return upstairs to red key lock and unlock it to make floor lower. Drop down
there and open door to find destruct button in flashing corner. However, when
you run towards it, you fall into a small pool in a large slime room. If you
want, dive down and blast pods, then canisters to blow marked wall to collect
freeze thrower. Surface and open north door and shoot enforcers in circular
corridor. Go round right corner from entrance and quickly up to enter opened
door near northeast corner. Shoot enforcer and break glass to press (real)
destruct button.


Mission 4: Duke Royale
Grab ammo and head round corner to shoot aliens. Note the amusing movie
posters. Open northwest door and shoot aliens to left. To right, grab ammo and
pipe bombs from ladies; shoot alien in gents for medikit. Head south along the
corridor, past kitchen to left, and up the stairs. Open left door and shoot
aliens. Press second and third buttons behind desk. Exit to corridor and open
next door, shooting aliens to get portable medikit.

Go back downstairs and blow marked wall to street. Open right doors and bomb
cops. Enter and open back wall. Shoot aliens and blow canisters for shotgun
ammo, then grab RPG from bin. Return to the street and head east. Take first
right passage and smash window to enter room. Blast aliens, including those
through far windows, and head north to go upstairs. Open panel to get blue key.

Back downstairs, open south door to shoot alien in toilet. Exit and crouch to
enter south fireplace. Jump up to left end to shoot vent and enter. Cross
walkway, watching for holes in floor, to room with enforcers. Blast them and
more round left corner. Shoot enforcer in east toilet, then get chaingun from
west kitchen. Break window and jump through. Break east window and blow
tripbomb there. Blow north marked wall and bomb enforcers and cops below. Grab
ammo from bin and enter east hole. Unlock blue key door and open it, ready to
bomb cops on other side. In room, head east and shoot more cops. Take lift up
and open door to shoot enforcers in room. When you enter, explosion rips hole
in far corner - kill cops who arrive through it. Grab jetpack from bin. Head
west, killing more aliens. Open panel for red key. Head up ramp to shoot alien
and enforcer, taking medikit from bin. Jump through window back to street.

Head north, then west to red key door. Open it and shoot cops and alien in bar.
Go north and down ramp to shoot more aliens and enforcer. Open east green door
and blast enforcers to get yellow key. Don't enter hole or one opposite will
blow, releasing more enforcers.

Return upstairs, where more cops have gathered. Head west, then south, shooting
cops. Open yellow key door (below neon sign) and shoot enforcers in bar. More
appear as you circle it. Grab RPG ammo which appears to right, but don't go
behind the bar or more enemies will appear, along with turrets in the corners.

Open the door near the northeast corner and follow the passage down. Go through
the door at the end for a massive ammo stash, but watch out for more enforcers
coming down the passage. An explosion will also be triggered as you explore the
room, signally the arrival of reinforcement upstairs.

Go back up to deal death to the cops and aliens in the bar, then open the doors
to reveal more cops and commanders outside. Devastate them, then head for the
ruins opposite, avoiding the turret fire, to hit the destruct button.


Mission 5: Alien Rendezvous
Grab the chaingun in the lift as it drops. Get ready for the cops when it
opens, coming from both sides of the junction. Head left towards the blue key
door and turn right to open the south door, ready to blast the enforcers
inside. Grab ammo and armor, then hit switch. Blast cops through window. Return
to corridor and head west to opened south door. Grab chaingun ammo, pipe bombs,
and the blue key. Shoot down at enforcers in darkness below.

Return to corridor and kill more cops on the way to the east blue key door.
Open it and shoot enforcer, then take lift down. Blow marked wall to find
medikit and trip bombs. Continue west and open door to the large darkened room
(which you shot down at earlier), ready to blast any surviving enforcers.
Prepare to shoot the cops which arrive from the left door when you enter. There
are medikits just to your left - if you have a jetpack, use it to reach ledge
above them for devastator. On the southwest ledge you'll also find RPG ammo.

Enter north tunnel for RPG, then crouch into vent for ammo and pipe bombs: you
can open the end to return to area by lift. Return to the large room and head
through the open south doors, shooting any surviving cops. Enter left door to
large chamber filled with trouble. Knock out immediate attackers first, then
opposite turret. Exit and go through right door to repeat process. Bomb/shoot
down at big monster below. When it is clear, drop down there and collect the
goodies around the perimeter, including jetpack.

If you want to visit the final secret mission (Faces Of Death), drop down below
and flick the three switches around the pillar to open east exit. Otherwise
float back up to northeast ledge and head up ramp. Open wall to right of door
for secret RPG ammo, pipe bombs, and portable medikit. Open door and flick
switch to reveal monster on central pillar. Quickly retreat and blast him from
doorway.

Jump over to the hexagonal platform to open the far door. Jump over there and
head down corridor, shooting enforcers and collecting goodies. To right of
junction is yellow key door. Enter red door to left and shoot enforcers. Jump
up crates to find yellow key on top of tall green stack. Return to corridor and
open yellow key door, ready to blast enforcers. When you enter the room, a huge
explosion occurs outside. Flick the switch to lower the shield around the
satellite dish.

Return to monster chamber and jump via hexagonal pillar back to high room. Go
down ramp and head north to open west Restricted Area doors. Head left down
ramp, blasting enforcers. Open first door to find teleporter: use it and open
door to upper ledge above monster chamber. Shoot enforcer (if not dead already)
and grab devastator.

Return through teleporter and blast octabrains in room with spinning device.
Grab RPG from middle, if you haven't got one. Open Armory door in corridor for
loads of RPG and devastator ammo. Open south door and retreat to corridor to
blast big boss. Go outside and collect RPG ammo. Jetpack up to satellite dish
for portable medikit.

Chuck a few pipe bombs into the middle of the landing pad to teleport them.
Ready the holoduke and step into the middle to be teleported into the ship.
Deploy holoduke, retreat into corner, and detonate bombs to blow octabrains and
enforcers. Blast any survivors, then run between spinning sections for
devastator and ammo.

Hit green switch in south alcove, then shoot enforcers through opened northwest
door and hit switch at end of corridor. Hit switch in north alcove, then shoot
enforcer through southwest door and flick switch at end of corridor. Shoot
enforcer through east door and hit switch there to reveal destruct button in
north alcove.


Mission 6: Ministry Of Fear
Open panel behind you for shotgun, medikit, and ammo for chaingun and RPG. Head
east up ramp and shoot enforcer. Blast the queue to reveal a poster for a
Notorious P.I.G. gig. Jump over counter and grab chaingun in corner and goggles
by clothes. Shoot bins for pipe bombs, medikit, devastator, and blue key.

Head north to open blue key door, chaingun ready for the drones behind. Head
left down the ramp (to the right is red key door), ready to blast enforcers.
Flick switch to turn the lights on and get ready for assault commanders
arriving from right. Open left north door and shoot cops and enforcer in
arcade. Stand in southeast corner to lower Cola machine, revealing tunnel to
secret room. Shoot drone and enforcers there to collect ammo and healing atom.
Exit arcade, ready for more commanders.

Return upstairs to large room and head south under bridge and enter left
curtain. Shoot enforcer and zombies, then open left bookcase to find secret
devastator. While you're at it, bomb/shoot any cops and enforcers visible
through the window. Return to large room and enter right passage to blue room.
Lob some bombs by the right wall, then approach the left ramp to raise the
wall: detonate bombs to blow up enforcers. Grab ammo, plus steroids from
alcove. Backtrack along corridor to find flickering green secret place with RPG
ammo. Return to blue room and open hidden door in southeast corner and blast
enforcers. Bomb/shoot cops down on dance floor. Retreat and head up the ramp
and over bridge to lift. Take it down and shoot any survivors. Jump up to blue
ledge in southeast corner to grab yellow key.

Unlock north yellow door and enter, but don't enter yet. Instead, return
upstairs via the lift. Outside, head north and enter the door to the right of
the arcade entrance. Blast the drone and enforcers down in the disco. Get
chaingun from bar and open southwest wall to find ammo guarded by enforcer.
Blowing marked wall reveals hole back to large room. Return to disco and shoot
drone and enforcers in north room. Grab trip bombs from west end and red key
from opened secret alcove. Open southeast wall by zombie DJ. Follow corridor
south, watching for drone from left of junction. Head left to disused lift and
blow it to find shrinker and ammo. Return all the way upstairs and back up the
ramp on the west side, then east across the bridge to open the red key door.
Open the wall to the right for secret goodies.

Now jump down onto the dance floor and get ready for the final showdown. As
soon as you step on the central part of the floor, a giant dancing foe appears
- and the doors seal up to prevent escape. Head into the southeast corner to
the new tunnel to collect an RPG. From there you can jump through the hole to
the stage. Take cover in this vicinity and pop out to shoot the dancing fool.
If he jumps up, retreat through the hole. Blast him into submission to finish
the game.



Secret Missions

Spin Cycle

Episode 2, Mission 5 (Occupied Territory). After shooting the two big monsters
at the end, cross over the narrow walkway to their podium. Look back towards
control room window to see a button above and to the right of it. Shoot it to
open a secret door to the left. Jump/float over there and hit the destruct
button for the secret mission.

This simple mission features a revolving circular walkway and hordes of enemies
to blast. You need to flick all the switches in the four outside rooms to open
the doors to the hub rooms. The switches in the latter must all be flicked to
open up the central room.

Grab the shotgun and pipe bombs from either end of the first room - Alpha. Head
down either corridor towards the (anticlockwise) revolving floor - note that
the blue edges don't revolve, so use these to move clockwise. Watch out for the
drones as you grab the weapons from outside each hub room: a chaingun, RPG,
freeze thrower, and shrinker.

Return to Alpha room and open the door to find a portable medikit plus
devastator and chaingun ammo. Hit the round green switch in the middle to open
the first hub room. Now return to the revolving walkway to take on the newly
released aliens and assault commanders - use the shrinker against the latter.
More shrinker ammo can be found in the opened hub room.

It doesn't really matter which order you do the rooms in, but we'll head for
the outside Beta room next. Grab the pistol and shotgun ammo, then open the
door to find RPG and chaingun ammo, plus a healing atom. Flick the switch to
open the next hub room and head for the revolving walkway to confront the
released assault commanders. Inside the hub room is lots of shotgun ammo and a
portable medikit.

Time to go to the Gamma room and grab some more shotgun ammo (if you really
need it!). Behind the door there you'll discover chaingun and devastator ammo,
plus portable medikit. Once again, flick the switch to open the next hub room.
Return to the revolving walkway to take on more assault commanders and aliens.
Inside the hub room is a nice supply of freeze thrower ammo.

In the Delta room is some shotgun ammo, and a medikit in one of the corridors.
Opening the door reveals chaingun and RPG ammo, plus a healing atom. Flick the
switch to open the final hub room, then head for the revolving walkway to blast
assault commanders and aliens galore.

When you're ready, flick all four switches in the hub rooms to open up the
central room: when you enter, a big boss appears. Retreat back outside and
blast him with the RPG until dead - it takes about eight good shots. Re-enter
the room to summon another boss: use the same tactics. Grab the holoduke and
devastator ammo before hitting that destruct button.


Lunatic Fringe

Episode 2, Mission 8 (Dark Side). In the slime cavern with the black slab,
blast the marked wall high to the right of the latter to access a secret area
with destruct button.

This one's a manic mission packed with alien scum and no less than four boss
monsters. To open the central hub, you have to hit the switches near two sets
of babes on the perimeter.

First, flick the switch behind you to temporarily open the door. Venture
through and hit the two buttons by the babes. Blasting the latter (with heavy
weaponry) summons a horde of aliens. Heading round to the right, you'll come
against more aliens and enforcers. There's a ruck of ammo down by the hub,
including a holoduke and armor in the panels.

Flicking the two switches by the next babes (blasting whom summons more aliens)
opens a window in the hub, just to the right. Fire some RPG rounds in there to
blast the first boss.

Now go round to the hub door to confront two more of the big blighters - the
best technique is to bomb them from up on the walkway. Once they're
obliterated, entering the hub to collect the freezer ammo summons more aliens
and enforcers outside, plus another big boss. Lure him down into the hub room
and bomb him, as you did his predecessors. Now jump into the large window
opposite the map to find an alien hand switch on the inside wall. Press it open
the west screen on the upper walkway. Let yourself by hit by the shrink ray
there, then go through the low tunnel to find the destruct button.


Tier Drops

Episode 3, Mission 5 (Movie Set). Activate the large USA sign on the space
station set (Stage 17B) to open a panel to the right with another destruct
button.

This mission features an optical illusion, providing a different square combat
arena for each of the four sides of the corridor. These arenas are also linked
vertically by the wells in their corners, but this isn't a recommended point of
entry if you want to live!

Note the three medikits behind you as you start this tricky mission - you'll
probably need them later. Press the alien hand switch on the right to open the
door. Watch out for the aliens firing from the combat arena ahead. Head left or
right and wait for them to enter the corridor. In the combat arena you'll find
a shrinker, plus chaingun and freezer ammo.

Back in the corridor, the (southeast) Alpha corner features two panels
containing steroids and armor. Open the wall between them to find a shotgun,
plus devastator and pistol ammo. In the (southwest) Beta corner, the two panels
contain night goggles and a portable medikit, while the wall between them
yields a shotgun, plus shrinker and chaingun ammo.

Run around the corridor to the north side and you can pilfer the other two
corners. Gamma packs a jetpack and medikits in the panels, plus RPG and shotgun
ammo in the wall. Delta offers laser trip bombs and a holoduke in the panels,
plus a pistol, pipe bombs, and freezer ammo in the wall.

The north side arena (between Gamma and Delta) is packed with octabrains for
you to divert with a strategically placed holoduke, then bomb/blast to
smithereens. In the arena you'll find a chaingun, shotgun ammo, and some
medikits.

Head round to the east side (between Delta and Alpha) for an arena containing
assault commanders and pig cops. After blasting them with heavy weaponry,
collect the booty including RPG and ammo.

Finally, hit the west side (between Beta and Gamma) to finish off some assault
commanders. Jump over the lava to the ramp and head up to collect a devastator
and RPG ammo. Open the door to reveal a boss monster in the central chamber.
Use the devastator on him, then go inside to grab the freeze thrower and
healing atoms before hitting the destruct button.


Freeway

Jump through the waterfall in the pool to emerge in long cave. Blast the trees
near the red hand to reveal an alternate destruct button, leading to the final
secret mission.

The most complex of the secret missions, this is more like a normal level.
Blast the octabrains in the water and collect the shotgun and ammo from the
bottom. Swim through the grating and collect the RPG from the end of the
tunnel. Swim back to the start and blow up the end of the underwater tunnel to
find some RPG ammo and a healing atom.

Surface on the other side of the grating and watch out for drones as you
collect the trip bombs, armor, pistol ammo, and medikit from the right ledge.
Now blow up the weak wall to the right of the east pillar. Jump through the
hole to be confronted by cops, flying cars, and a drone in the dark tunnel -
use goggles to spot them. Once the immediate threat has been obliterated, pick
up the devastator and healing atom from the east side and north, using the
pillars as cover from more cops, including some on the ledges either side. Grab
the medikits from the central ridge, then jump via the bins to the east ledge
for steroids and devastator ammo. Jump via the bins (or blow the marked wall)
to the west ledge for a portable medikit. Open the last window on this ledge
for a secret room with a cop and freeze thrower (the switch turns the lights
on). Back outside, blast the bins for a shotgun and ammo.

Return south and up the other ramp to shoot more cops and enforcers on the
ledges. Watch out for more cops arriving as you grab the goodies: medikit,
goggles, and ammo for RPG, freezer, and shotgun. When you go round the corner
on the east ledge, an explosion is set off. Retreat, then return to kill off
any surviving cops. Grab the shotgun ammo from behind the flames.

Edge carefully into the street ahead to lure out some enforcers. Blast them
before turning left to confront the boss monster. Devastate him, then head to
the northeast corner for devastator ammo. To avoid drones, hug the north wall
as you head west to blast the cops in the alcove by the blue key lock. Open the
window in the alcove for a secret room with enforcers guarding devastator and
shrinker ammo. Blowing up the marked wall gives access to the previous secret
room (by the bins), if you missed it.

After disposing of the drones, explore the street for portable medikit, pipe
bombs, steroids, medikits, and armor, but don't go near the overturned Car 54
round the northwest corner yet. Instead, jump over the northeast corner and
head up the slope to drop into a secret room with enforcers guarding shotgun
ammo, medikit, and jetpack. Use the latter to get back out and float over to
the open window on the south side of the street to blast the enforcers there.
Inside you'll find the blue key, pipe bombs, medikit, and shotgun ammo. Open
the south bookcase for devastator ammo. Blow the marked wall to find another
secret place with slime pods, freezer ammo and chaingun.

Back on the street things are getting hairy, with two big bosses running riot.
Blast down or bomb them, then grab the healing atoms from the left ledge before
dropping back down. Use the blue key to open the lift, then ride it up to the
conveyor belts where more enforcers await. After blasting them, hit the nearby
switch to stop the conveyors, then go over to the far side for the RPG ammo.
Head round to the north and shoot more enforcers and drones. Crouch to grab the
RPG from the machine. Blast a couple of RPG rounds through the striped panels
opposite before jumping through them to a secret control room with armor and
pipe bombs.

Exit and press the switch on the east wall to open the large door there,
releasing enforcers. Blast them and grab the red key, freeze thrower, medikit,
and assorted ammo.

Return to the street and head for Car 54. As you approach, an explosion lets
rip and loads of cops appear. After blowing them away, grab the medikit and
unlock the red key door. Shoot the cop inside, then the fire extinguisher to
blow up the wall. Blast the octabrains, grab the medikit, and hit that destruct
button.


Faces Of Death

In the monster chamber, hit three switches around hexagonal pillar to open east
exit. Head left or right around green corridor, shooting enforcers on way to
room with lots of goodies and the destruct button.

Hug side wall as you go down lava stream. Run right to nearest teleport at the
bottom to emerge in an upstairs room with programmer faces. Grab goodies from
by them and dive into water tanks for more (as seen behind forcefields in main
section). Go through other teleport and run past boss to one opposite to reach
next upstairs room. Repeat this process till you've got everything from the
four upstairs rooms.

Back downstairs, you can jetpack to the top of both lava walls for secret
healing atoms. Kill the boss on the podium in middle of central lava pool (you
don't have to kill them all). Jump/jetpack onto the latter to get goodies,
including blue key. Use it on lock by Todd pool to open doors behind crushers.

Run around crusher in that room, up to another lava pool (the room over the
other side - opened by pressing the three switches downstairs and two by door -
contains another boss). Duck under the trip bombs and jump into right
(southeast) wall to find secret passage. Enter vent there and follow it round
to drop in by the destruct button.
