-ABOUT THIS GAME
Dragon Ball Z Legends is a fighting game of sorts. It came out in japan only, so if
you're reading this you probably have the imported it. I'm not going to sit and explain
the system of this game to you. Because they'res already alot of reviews on the net
that do that. But just incase you're new to the game I'll explain the basic sytem of
the game... You and up to 2 helpers fight the computer in a large area. At the bottom
of the screen is a bar that says "Power Balance" When you hurt your foes enough to get
the bar to your side, the character you're controlling does his meteo attack.
-WHY I WROTE THIS
Honestyly I love this game, I really do. But I feel that it is GREATLY overated. I
think that Final Bout and UB22 are much better games, and they have alot of false rumors,
(Like the delay in Final Bout.) But anyways, the reason I wrote this FAQ was because
back when I was trying desperatly to get this game, I couldn't find hardly any info on
it. All I could find were reviews and explanations of the battle system... BORING!
So I thought I'de write a FAQ detailing every characters special attacks. So without
further delay I give you the meteo attacks!
-METEO ATTACKS
SON GOKOU (GOKU)
This is the normal version of Goku, He has 2 meteos right from the start. He is playable
in, Chapter 1, 2, 3, and the final battle.
1- Kamehameha- Goku charges up his Ki for a second. Then suddenly fires a long yellow
Beam that explodes on contact.
2- Genki Dama (Spirit Bomb)- Goku puts his hands in the air and energy slowly begins to
gather in the sky. After awhile of charging a large blue
Genki Dama slowly appears. Goku then hurls in at the target
causing a huge explosion.
SON GOHAN
This is the normal version of Gohan as a child. He weres the purple outfit that looks like
Piccolos and has long black hair. He is playable in, Chapter 1, 2, 3, 4.
1- Masenko- Gohan cups his hands over his forhead and Ki begins to gather there. Then as the
energy begins to spark and crackle he shouts "Masenko!" and fires a large beam at
the enemy that explodes on contact.
PICCOLO
Piccolo is a green alien from the planet Namek. He is very powerful and a skilled fighter, he
weres a purple gi, and sometimes a white cape and turban. He is playable in Chapter 1, 2, 3, 4
5, 6, AND 7! Phew!
1- Makenkousanpou-(Special Beam Cannon)- Piccolo charges puts two fingers on his forehead and
slowly gathers energy. When finished he fires a long
twisted beam that pierces through the opponent.
2- Gekiretsukoudan-(Makosen)- Piccolo puts his finger tips together and begins to power up alot.
The ground shakes and shockwaves are flying out from piccolo. He
Then fires a huge fireball at the opponent the explodes and sends
them flying.
KYLILIN (KURIRIN) (KRILLIN)
Krillin is Gokus best friend and alittle short bald guy. He usually weres the same orange
Gi as goku. He is playable in Chapters 1, 2, 3, 4, 5.
1- Spread Shot- Sorry not sure on the name of this attack. Anyways, Krillin gathers energy in
both hands then fires a beam at the opponent. Right before it hits them it turns
up and goes into the sky exploding. Sending a rain of fireballs down on the foe,
cool!
VEGETA (BEJITA)
This is Vegeta the prince of all saiyans (saiyajins) that we all know and love. He is in
his blue jump suit here, with the armor that he wore in the Namek saga. He is playable
though Chapters, 2 & 3.
1- Big Bang Attack- Vegita Holds out his palm and shouts "Big Bang Attack!" He is then surrounded
by a globe of yellow energy. He then fires a huge fire ball that explodes
on the enemy and sends out a shockwave.
#NOTE- If you play as vegeta in VS mode he will use Final Flash as his 2nd attack
But in story mode he doen't get it until The cell games.
NAPPA
This is Vegetas side kick Nappa, He is very big and dumb. He usually weres armor like Vegetas
But in this game he appears all beat up and without armor (When Goku arrived in the Saiyan
Saga.)
1- Bakuwatsa- Nappa powers up. Then lifts his first two fingers creating an explosion under the
enemy that sends them flying.
GURUDO (GULDO)
This four eyed frog is a member of the Ginyu (Ginew) Force. He is very small and weak but
has the ability to freeze time bye holding his breath.
1- (NO NAME)- Guldo telepathicaly lifts a chunk of ground up and hurls it at his target, knocking
them back.
RECOOM
This big dummy is a member of the Ginyu force. He is rather dumb and slow... but he's pretty
strong.
1- Recoom Driver- Recoom grabs his opponent and flys them into the air, then he screams down
, hammering his foe into the earth.
JIISU (JIECE)
Jeice is a short red-orange skinned member of the ginyu force. He has long white hair and
Usually works with Berter.
1-Crusher Ball (Fire Ball)- Jiece holds his palm flat up and yells "CRUSHER BALL!" then a red
ball of Ki energy forms and he smacks it volleyball style in his
target.
BAATA (BERTER)
Berter is a large blue alien member of the Ginyu Force. He is extremely fast and usually
works with Jiece.
1- (NO NAME)- Berter runs around his enemy super fast, he becomes a blur. He then fires alot
of energy blasts into the foe while still running circles around them.
GINEW (GINYU)
This horned purple goof is the leader of the Force. He is obsessed with his poses and what he
"thinks" is style. He has the unique ability to switch bodies with his opponents.
1-(NO NAME)- Ginyu powers up abit then fires a big fireball into the enemy. Pretty straightforward
2-Body Change- Ginyu changes bodies with his enemy. Beats up their body abit. Then switches back
into his own body.
FRIEZA (FREEZER) (FURIZA)
This is Frieza! The lord of the universe... well he was at least. He appears in his final
and most powerful form here. He has a whopping 3 meteo attacks, and is quite good at
stopping your combo attacks.
1- Death Ball- Freeza knocks his enemy back. Then teleports behind them creating a huge redish
black ball of energy. The enemy then starts to run but the ball catches up to
them and explodes sending them flying down to the ground.
2- Planet Cutter- Freeza swipes his arm several times sending down blades of energy that slice
open the ground. The ground under the enemy then explodes upwards.
3- Finger Laser- Freeza fires about 3 quick red lasers that pierce straight through the enemy.
SS GOKU
Super Saiyan Goku or (Super Saiyajin Son Gokou) For you diehard jap fans is a more powerful
version of Goku with Blond spikey hair and green eyes. He is playable in chapters 3, 4, 5,6.
1-Kamhameha- This is exactly the same as normal Gokus Kamehameha. At first this is the only
Meteo he will have.
2-Kamehameha Smash- After you get to chapter 4 He will have this attack. He first fires a
Kamehameha fireball at the opponent. This fireball keeps pushing them back
through the air. He then uses the instant teleportation to go behind them
and fire another one. that traps them between the two fireballs and causes
a explosion.
SS FUTURE TRUNKS
This is Future (Mirai) Trunks, he is already in super saiyajin mode and weres his black
tank top, (Why the heck do they always leave out the jacket and sword???) He is playable
through chapters 4 & 5. During chapter 5 he will have on the blue suit and armor.
1- Burning Attack- Trunks waves his arms around then fires a attack that traps the foe in a
energy bubble. The bubble expands then explodes.
2- Rising Energy- Sorry not sure of the name. This is the attack Trunks used to kill cell in the
future. He holds his hands up then fires a huge beam upwards.
SS VEGETA
This is Vegeta in Super Saiyan mode. He is very powerful and even more arrogant... He starts
off with one meteo but in chapter 5 he learns Final Flash. He is playable though chap. 4, 5,
6, 8. After chap five he will have his blue jump suit on.
1- Big Bang- This is exatly the same as Regular Vegetas Big Bang Attack.
2- Final Flash- Vegeta glows with yellow energy and puts his arms outward. After powering up
He puts them together and yellow lightning and sparks flash in front of his hands
, He then fires a huge Final Flash Beam that mows straight through the enemy and
causes a mushroom cloud.
ANDROID 19
This tubby android resembles a doll. He has the red things on his hands that let him sap
people of their power.
1- Energy Drain- Android 19 headbutts his opponent knocking them down. He then sits on them with a
thump and grabs their neck draining they're energy. He then stands up and repeatedly
blasts them with rapid energy shots.
ANDROID 20 (Dr. Gero)
This is Dr. Geros brain in a android body. He is a energy draining unit just like android
19. He is also the creater of all the other androids.
1- Invisible Wave- Android 20 Yells with anger and then swipes his arm. Making an invisible wave
that causes a chain of fast exposions.
2- Energy Drain- Dr. Gero charges at his opponent then suddenly teleports beside them, he then
uh.. grabs them and drains they're energy. Then he just smacks his foe into
the ground violently.
ANDROID 17
This is another android made by Doc Gero and my personal favorite character.He has long
black hair and weres a red scarf.
1- (NO NAME)- Android 17 glows and is surounded by a globe of energy, he then shoots off a ton
of energy (looks more like a machine gun.)
ANDROID 18
This is 17's sister turned into a android by Gero. She has blond hair and is obsessed
with cloths and shopping.
1- Rapid Fire- 18 says some jap word (?) and fires off tons of red energy fire balls at her
enemy.
ANDROID 16
This was Dr. Geros strongest android, he is large and very gentle and quiet. He loves life
and hates to fight unless it's totally necesary.
1- Rocket Fist- 16 Fires his hand at the enemy, it hits them and sends them sliding and skidding
for a looong way.
2- Hells Flash- Android 16 removes his hand and fires a very large beam out of his wrist that
fries the enemy.
CELL
This is Dr. Geros biological weapon at it's worst. He is in his final "perfect" form here
and is very strong. He loves to fight, in fact that's all he cares about.
1- Ki Wave- Cell shakes and sparks alittle then screams as he puts his limbs outward and a huge
sphere of energy expands from him. The wave crushes the foe.
2- Kamehameha- Cell powers up and fires a very big kamehameha down at his target it explodes
on impact.
CELL JR.
These are cells little clones. They are very small and crazy, and very strong at the same
time.
1-Kamehameha- Cell Jr. yells and fires a simple blue kamehameha at his foe that explodes on
impact.
SS2 GOHAN
This is gohan is Super Saiyan 2 mode, he is very fast and strong. You only get to play as
this character for chapter 5. One of my top personal favs. :)
1- Kamehameha- Gohan Powers up for awhile then he in surround by a blue sphere of Ki. He then
slowly says the words Ka..... Me..... Ha..... Me......................HA!!!
He then sudenley realeases a HUGE kamehame at his foe. The beam envelopes them
and they explode, flying away.
GOTEN (SON GOTEN)
This is the second son of Goku and Chi Chi, he reached Super Saiyan at a very young age (7)
and is kinda clueless as to whats going on... he is playable in chapters 6 & 7.
1- Headbutt- Goten flares with energy above his opponent before yelling "here I come!" and
screaming down into them. When he hits them it causes a pretty good size explosion.
TRUNKS (CHIBI TRUNKS)
This is Trunks as a 8 year old (the normal Trunks, not Future.) He is very arrogant because
of growing up with Vegeta. Playable in chapters 6 & 7.
1- Energy Blast- Chibi Trunks powers up energy behind his back with both arms, then fires a
green blast that mows through the opponent.
DABURA
Dabura was the keeper of the underworld. He is under the control of Babidi (notice the "M")
and is a formadible opponent.
1- Flame Breath- Dabura hovers above his enemy, then screams before breathing scorching hot
flames over them.
MAJIN VEGETA
This is Vegeta under the control of Babidi. He is the same as SS Vegeta accept he glows with
blue energy and has a "M" on his forehead. He is playable at the end of chapter 6.
1- Big Bang- The same as SS and Normal Vegetas Big Bang Attack.
2- Final Flash- The same as SS and Normal Vegetas Final Flash.
GOHAN (SAIYAN or SAIYAMAN)
This is Gohan in SSJ2 form in the remains of his superhero costume. He is only playable in
chapter 6.
1- Kamehameha- Gohan screams and yells violently. Then is surrounded by a huge energy triangle
then when it clears he has a huge Ki field around him. He then says the magic
words (kamehameha) and fires a huge golden beam at the enemy that explodes.
MAJIN BUU (BOO)
This fat villain is the one that Babidi released. He was created by Bibidi (Bibidi) and is
very evil and rubbery. He is sorta.. playable in the final battle with Kid buu.
1- Ki Explosion- Buu yells "go to hell!" and puts his arms up causeing a huge explosion that hits
the target.
2- Ki Ball- Buu fires a big ball of energy that pushes the foe back and slowly envelopes them, it
then explodes.
SUPER BUU (BOO)
This physcotic dummy is a more powerful version of Buu and is more evil. He loves to fight
and has the ability to transform people into candy (just like fat Buu)
1- Genocide- Super Buu puts one hand into the air and let's loose a flurry of red beams that
shower all over the battlefield and hit the target.
2- Screamer- Buu screams like crazy causes shockwaves that damage the opponent.
GOTENKS
This goof is the result of Goten and Trunks fusion. He is very arrogant (and funny) and
waste alot of time in battle. He is very young and confident , he is automatically in
SS3 form when you get him. Oh ya, you play as him just put goten and trunks in at the same
time in chapter 7. They will automatically do the fusion dance.
1- Super Ghost Kamikaze- Gotenks says "super ghost kamikaze attack!" and spits out abuncha little
ssj3 ghost of himself. He then tells them to line up and charge! They
ram into the foe one at a time each one exploding on impact.
2- Galactic Donut Attack- Gotenks creates a energy donut with his finger and surrounds the enemy
with the ring. He then makes it close in and squeeze the opponent.
MYSTIC GOHAN
This is gohan in a Gi like his fathers and he is in the Level of Mystic Super Saiyan. This
is a real cool character to play as it kinda sucks cuz he only has 1 meteo.... oh well! He
is playable in chapter 7.
1- (NO NAME)- Gohan hits his enemy with a series of hard blows then hits them into the air and
flys up and hits them into the ground. As the camera scolls over we see that gohan
is right behind the foe. He then says "behind you" or "too slow" (thanks to everyone
for your emails telling me what he was saying!)
SS3 GOKU
This is Goku in the powerful ssj3 form. He has no eyebrows and long gold hair. He is very
powerful. He is playable in chapters 7 & 8.
1- Merry go Round- Okay so thats not the name of the move.... but anyways ssj3 goku flys up to
his opponent grabs their legs and swings them around abit before tossing them
into the ground.
2- Kamehameha- Goku powers up for along time and slowly says ka- me- ha- me---HA!, then he suddenly
let's loose a HUGE blast (the biggest in the game) that mows straight over the
foe and causes a big mushroom cloud to form.
VEGETTO (VEGITO)
This is Goku and Vegeta fused with the Potara earings. He is very strong (The strongest
person in all of dbz) and very arrogant to. He is playble for the first half of the final
battle with Boo.
1- Flash Sword- Vegetto teleports behind his foe and throws them to the ground, right before they
hit the floor he zaps them with the flash sword laser and tows them up, the laser
then breaks off from his hand and turns into a fireball that blast them as they
fall.... cool!
KID (TRUE) BUU
This miniature physco is really strong... and quite funny to. He doesn't talk he just laughs
and screams. He is the last fight of the game.
1- (NO NAME)- Buu drives his leg into the ground it pushes up 3 times kicking the foe back, he
then blast them with a yellow blast that explodes on them and sends them flying.
2- (NO NAME)- Buu screams in the air like crazy, then fires a huge red attack at the foe that
causes a huge mushroom cloud.
