Review for Crusaders Of Might and Magic: Overall Score: 9.5
I really can say this game is very cool and read some other sites that didn't
give this game a very decent rating. I've only played the first 4 quests of this
game, and I really like it. I admit, the sound is a little choppy sometimes, and
you get occasional small freeze-ups, but other than that I'm really enjoying
this game. There is some bad clipping here and there also, but not as bad as
some previous 3rd person perspective games. The weapons are very cool looking,
and there is a wide assortment of different spells, armor, items and weapons to
have you wrapped up in this game for quite some time. The first person
perspective button is very responsive and gives you great control of what you
can see in the gaming environment. The statistics charts and tables, are very
well done, and give you a good overview of where your character currently
stands.
The A-I is done well too, like when you cast a spell and they move out of your
way. Some of the enemies even on easy are very agile, and move around the way
monsters would most likely move if they existed. This game is a mixed bag of
Medievil and Legacy Of Kain, Soul Reaver. The graphics are some of the best I've
seen for a console 3-D platform game. I commend 3do for making such an inriguing
game and look forward to future titles by them. This game, is another great
example, of what third person perspective games should be like, for future
console systems no matter how good the system is.

[-Strategy Corner-]
This section will cover good basic battle skills in the game. Certain enemies
have strengths and weaknesess obviously. There is the Fire Elementals who are a
fire based creature. The best weapon to use against them would be a water based
rune attached to the weapon to defeat them more easily. If you had the Firefang
rune and wanted to use it on a Fire Elemental it would be useless as they are
already made of or from fire. A regular battle technique is also one I use and
works well. Use the block button when an enemy is running around you and at the
same time swinging at you. As soon as he stops swinging then this is a good time
to come out swinging at them. Don't try fighting any of the good guys as they
pretty much are very powerful foes if you so choose to make them your foes. The
best way to judge the distance of a crucial jump is to use the first person
perspective to get a look around. Take a good look at the gaming environment
when you feel trapped and see if you might be able to spot the next thing to do.
Don't forget to use magic a lot since this makes the spells rise in levels and
become more powerful. When fighting a boss use up your distance attacks first
before going into close combat. What I usually do is stand back and keep
distance and use all my axes first, then use all my exploding gems. Next I
change to distance magics and use my fire magic first as long as the boss isn't
immune to fire. Next I use my swarm spell which you don't obtain until later in
the game. When I first started I would usually use my fire magic after using
weapons and then go into close combat when I completely exhausted ny nagic.
ALways buy lots of healing potions also when your going against a boss. When you
get into close combat the healing potions are your only means left of staying
alive during a boss fight. Also buy lots of restore potions as they come in
handy when fighting bosses. Whenever getting a new rune to attach to your weapon
put it on and try it out to see how more effective it is than the previous rune.
The armor in this game is pretty scarce so when you have the oppurtunity to buy
some more than do so. Collect as many gems from monsters as you can to get even
better and cooler equipment to help you on your journey in the world of
Corantha. Save the game often as many bosses are very difficult and many regular
enemies are hard at first too. There is a great deal of save points in this game
which is an added plus. Many times or most of the time some games have freeze
bugs in them and without having many save points makes you redo unnecessary
tasks over and over again. Some barrels can be hit from up close and some can't
so use distance magic on all of these barrels in case one has a flammable
substance to it. Try not to avoid too many battles either as your weapon rises
in ranks and becomes more powerful the more you use it. With rank increasage, it
not only makes the weapon more effective but you wield it more efficiently and
quickly. Avoid walking over fires as this obviously hurts Drake. If an enemy is
just too powerful it's okay to run. Also when battling it's very important to
use the aimer button on enemies as Drake is more aware of his enemy and its
movements. Try doing a battle without using the aimer one time and then try it
with it and you'll see that it takes a lesser time to do battle with the aimer
on.
Some areas of the game have guards posted and they guard purple looking portals.
Killing them won't get you through that portal so don't bother with them. Some
enemies have very quick movements also so try and keep up with them so they
don't and won't get in a cheap shot. If you've become stuck and you don't know
where to go or what to do then send me an email and I'll try and help you out.

Thanks for using my walkthrough. If you'd like to print this walkthrough for the
best results do the following. Copy and paste all document writing into Wordpad
and save it. Print this walkthrough out on wordpad for the very best results.
Other walkthroughs I've done are as follows:
-Syphon Filter 2
-Tomb Raider: The Last Revelation
-Dukes Of Hazzard
-Test Drive 6 (Car List)
-Medal Of Honor
-MTV Music Generator
-Crusaders Of Might and Magic
-Urban Chaos
Games I'd like to make a walkthrough for next:
Maybe Galerians not sure yet.
Vagrant Story-although I haven't found where it is at yet.
That's about all since there isn't that much out for the Playstation as of right
now. I don't like making anything for Fighting games really since I don't like
fighting games. I haven't ever done an RPG except Crusaders Of Might and Magic
but hope to do one soon. The problem is that the RPG's that come out have
already been in Japan for a year and all the Japanese people make the faqs
first. Maybe if they made a RPG in america first then maybe we as americans
could shed some light on some cool rpg's.

[-Section 10-]
[-Monster/Quests-]
Fresh Shambler- He is the very first enemy you encounter at the
beginning of the game and is pretty easy to kill.
Newly Recorporated Sentry- This mummy-like monster packs a mean wallop
so be careful when battling them.
Young Twice-Born- These beasts are taller than the Fresh Shamblers and
a bit more powerful so watch and time their attacks.
King Aiden- When you reach your third quest you'll meet this dwarfen
creature who turns out to be Dain, his son.
Meet Celestia- This happens on Quest 2 and when you meet her on the
floating Island you begin Quest 3.
Ironpick Rebel- These fiends are found on the third quest and have ice
weapons.
Escape- This is for the first quest and times how long you go until you
make your escape.
Ironpick Zealot- This guy appears here and there and has exploding
stars he likes to throw. A pretty easy kill and most
of the time very cowardly.
Stone Elemental- These creatures look just like moving stones and are pretty
powerful. They drop Earth Gems most times when you defeat them.
Ogre Clansman- This tribe of Ogres are nasty foes, although large beasts, they
are extremely agile and hit you very hard.
Dasher Brute- This enemy is a very agile one who at times cloaks himself. They
have 2 forms Dasher Brutes, much stronger. Dasher Scouts are Ghost-Like and very
agile. Get these guys in close quarters so they can't avoid your attacks to
defeat them more easily.
Ogre Clan Leader- This nasty Foe is both Ugly and very powerful. He is a cross
between an Ogre and a pirate and is agile just like his other cronies.
Lava Elemental- These are just like the Stone Elementals but they shoot fire at
you. They appear first after finding the Scepter Of Regency when on your way
back to Dains Castle.
Dasher Ranger- A bit quicker and harder to kill than the other 2 types of
Dashers.
Stoneheart Regular- These are Dwarven creatures that appear in the lower parts
of the castle and aren't that powerful.
Elemental Lord- This is the Fire Elemental that you fight to Free Tor and Dain.
He is a very powerful adversary.
Yeti- These nasty, tall Ice Beasts are very difficult to beat and they can dish
out some punishment to Drake. Best to use the Fire Fang Rune equipped with your
best ranked weapon to defeat it.
Ice Elemental- They look like tiny, moving blocks of Ice and are pretty easy to
kill. These enemies also require the equipping of the Flamefang Rune to
effectively battle it.
Yeti Shaman- An even harder to beat version of the original Yeti as it has a
powerful fire spell type bomb that dishes out a great deal of damage to Drake.
Be careful when battling these minions.
Glacial Elemental- These foes are pretty hard as they cast a storm spell that
freezes Drake in place. This results in the beast doing more damage as you stand
motionless for a brief period.
Yeti Lord- Resembles the Yeti Shaman with the same powerful fire spell but
obviously, since it's a boss, much harder to defeat.
Revenent Crewman- These Former pirates are evil spirits further in the game and
are hard to beat.
Black Guard Master- This is a boss further into the game who is a hard boss and
also sounds just like Kain in Legacy Of Kain: Soul Reaver when he speaks.
_______________________________________________________________________
[-Characters In The Game-]
Drake- This is the character you portray, as you complete different
quests throughout the game.
Aerrin- She is the person who controls the elevator on the Floating
Island.
King Aiden- He is the King of a castle who is found out to be dead
after speaking to the Kings son, Dain.
Prince Dain- He is Aidens son who needs the Scepter Of Regency to claim
his right to be king.
Celestia- She is Drakes boss and she gives you different quests and
tasks to complete. She is located on the Floating Island and

[-Walkthrough Section-]
[-Escape-]
[-Quest 1, Regain Your Freedom From The Catacombs and dungeons through the
enemy-held stronghold-]
Use your magic button or triangle to kill the very first undead creature and
then listen to the blue image in the wall. After killing the first creature take
the Mace, Mana and the 9 gold. Also get the fire Gem.
Turn right now and jump up the wooden cart on the right and take some more
throwing axes. Turn around now and take your first right into the next cell. Run
to the center of the room where the dead guy is and take 3 gold and a healing
potion. Turn left after taking from the corpse and there is a metal looking box
here. Push it to where the indention in the wall is. Jump up it and take 2
healing potions up here. Leave this cell now and head out to the hallway where
you took the axes off the wooden cart and enter these larger doors. Once you
enter the large doors head left to another dead body with a spiked shield and 2
more healing potions.
Equip the spiked shield the way the tutorial says and now you have your first
shield in the game. Run back now right and around the corner avoiding the trap
on the ground. Enter the doors up here now and then turn right when through the
doors and enter this cell. Kill the beast and then collect 2 healing potions and
some gold. There is a dead body to the right here too so collect his items also.
Turn around now and leave the cell and ahead and to the left is a save point.
Save if you'd like to, otherwise head left and enter another doorway to another
hallway. Walk ahead and if you look left there is some metal boxes stacked high.
Jump to the highest box and collect some healing potions.
Jump back down now and head up straight and the image thing will try and advise
you on distance attacks. Kill the 2 Fresh Shamblers and collect some gold and
fire gem. You'll see some barrels up here so don't hit them cause they'll hurt
you. Run up the next 2 hallways and kill the Fresh Shambler up here. Get to
where you can see a lightning bolt in the ground and run up and quickly take
this shield and then run away before the bolt can hit you. Turn around now and
kill the Fresh Shambler that approaches you from behind and you'll get a new
Gem.
Head right around the next hall and look ahead, You'll see 2 fresh shamblers
behind some boxes and barrels so stop. Use your magic once you have one of them
in sight and this makes short work out of hacking them to death instead. After
defeating these creatures go and take their items and then head up the hallway.
Meet with Necros which is the deadly looking statue in the next room after
getting the new spell. He will try and zap you with lightning bolts so just run
right and avoid him.
Once you go right and up the hall some more Fresh Shamblers meet you so take
care of them. Run into this next room and head right avoiding hitting the
barrels and back here is a save point to your left so save if you like. Turn
around now and go straight onto an elevator which takes you to a room with
barrels and some monsters on your left. Kill them and then collect your gold.
Turn around now and take another elevator up and 2 more monsters are up here so
kill them and take their stuff. Once you kill the monsters go to your right and
enter this hallway. Enter another room now with blood on the floor and to the
back left is a stairway and a cell door you can't enter. Go up the stairs and
kill the monster here.
Take stuff and then run up the stairs killing another monster. Once up these
stairs you have 2 more monsters to kill off, be careful as the taller one throws
axes at you. Kill them and collect stuff. Back here is also 3 metal boxes and
behind it some more throwing axes. Push directly on the box to your left and
then move with it left and do the same with the middle box and now you can get
the throwing axes. Turn around now and near the stairs before going down them to
the right is another save point so save if you like. After saving turn around
and go left at the small fork and when you get to the end pathway there is a
large drop. Fall here and you'll battle a Newly Recorporated Sentry and get a
new weapon that being the exploding Gem.
Run up this next hallway now and kill the next monster and take his items. As
soon as you enter through the next doors, immediately turn right and do battle
with another monster and avoid the star on the floor. Go now through 2 more sets
of doors to another pathway that looked the same as when you fought the Newly
Incorporated Sentry. Fight the tall creature here and you might go up a level
depending on the fact that you've killed all monsters I've mentioned so far.
There is some metal boxes on a wall to the right so first take the throwing axes
and other items and then hop up the wall and then onto the next metal box. Jump
right onto the green path and then again to the brown path around the mountain.
The image talks again and then when she's gone just keep heading up the path.
Head up the path killing 2 beasts and collecting gold and axes. Keep following
the path and you'll see another tall beast standing on the path so kill it and
collect items. Head up the path and the first quest ends and another begins.
Listen to the English guard and then look at your new quest if you like.

[-Section 12-]
[-Meet Celestia-]
[-Quest 2, Enter The Citadel and Locate The Throne Room To Talk To Lady Archon,
Celestia-]
[-Warning, Don't even think of hitting the guards here cause they are extremely
high in levels and hard to beat. I did find it rather comical that when you go
further into the level running from the first guard another approaches. If
either of the 2 hit one another they start fighting each other for a brief
time.-]
Listen to the guard that sounds like Ozzy Osbourne and then head up the main
path not hitting any guards. Get to the part with a fire burning and another
guard and the guard won't have anything to do with you. Go right up the next
path up here and follow it all the way around to the front of the castle where 3
guards are standing and before entering walk right. When you see the guard on
the right he'll say don't go up that way so go left when you can and you'll have
a save point. Save if you like and then turn back around and enter the castle
now.
Walk down the hall and get on the descending elevator and when you get to the
top walk up the oddly shaped path. You'll see a cut-scene with a girl named
Aerrin who will take you to the top where the fortress is. When you get to the
top Aerrin will say goodbye so get off and then walk up the path. Run into the
octagonal room and when you run in here take a right after listening to the
image. Enter the next room and near the stairwell is a save spot you can save
the game at if you choose. Go up the stairs/ramp and keep going up all the way
to the top. When you get to the top there is a guard here so walk up to him and
he'll ask you a favor.
Enter the doorway he's guarding now and keep going straight up the path. When
you get into a room with a guard take a left and now walk up the path with the
red carpeting. When you reach the room with Celistia you can either speak with
her and complete this quest or read the 4 plaques in the room.
_______________________________________________________________________
[-Section 13-]
[-King Aiden-]
[-Quest 3: Take the Airship to Duskwood and find the passage to Corantha.
Contact King Aiden Stoneheart and ask him to send troops to Stronghold.-]
Turn around now and head back down the path to the room with the guard, right
where the red carpeting begins going up and ends going down. Head down this path
and take your first left into a small room with a save point in it and save if
you choose. Run to the next octagonal room and take your first right when you
get the chance. Head over the bridge and when you see a wooden looking wall and
a portal to the left ignore it you can't enter here yet. Go right and you'll
find the Quartermaster and she'll give you better equipment so equip all these.
You'll get a longsword, Scalemail and a Kite Shield. Turn back around now and
exit the shop and take a left and follow the stone path up to the next portal
room and then go left.
Run across the bridge and then into another octagonal room with 2 guards and
some small light posts. Take a right here and go down the next hallway. Run back
down to the room where you first entered and down the blue ramp/staircase and
take a left and save if you choose. Turn back around and take your first left
into the doorway here. This way will take you to where Jonathan is from the
guard from earlier, but you can skip this part if you like and just head onto the
pad where Aerrin is. Enter the doorway and go down the rustic looking hallway to
an open room with some castle looking walls. This room has some crates and
barrels and 2 cannons in it. Go straight up to where the next doorway is and </pre><pre id="faqspan-2">
Jonathan is back here and he reluctantly hands you the 200 gold he owes his
brother. Go back to the top now and give the guard back his gold.
He'll give you a fire gem as a sign of you speaking with him so now go back to
where you got the long sword and other stuff at the store. The brother is to the
left guarding the portal here. Listen to the conversation and he gives you his
battle-axe. Head back now to where Aerrin is and get back on the elevator deal.
Note: You can buy the warhammer in the store which would give you another weapon
but it fills your hands and you can't carry anymore. To buy something press the
look or aim button and when on the desired item it lists the name and asking
price. If you want to buy the item press the square button and it goes into your
inventory. When you're done shopping if you chose to get any other extra items
then head to Aerrin and take the elevator to the forest.
Fall off the rock and go up the path where the giant mushrooms are at. Go a far
ways down until you see a landmark lightpost and an opening to the left so stray
the left path for now and just go straight. Keep going along the main path until
you reach an area that veers right with 2 mushrooms on either side. Go right and
enter this big cavey looking entrance. Once through the cave automatically
happens, you'll be near a bridge with large lit torches, so cross it. A battle
is ahead and a guy dies. It'd be much better to run away and head inside the
castle.
Get to a room with some Stone Golems and when they come alive just run away.
Keep going straight to a room with some exploding traps shooting across the
room. Keep going down the hall and help out the shop owner by killing off the
beasts that are attacking him and he gives you some things. Buy more things if
you like and then head out of this area.
If you didn't do it yet equip the ice claw and attach it to your weapon and
you'll have an easier time with this area. Leave this area by going up the path
and when you get to the trap room take a right up this next area. Enter the 2
sets of doors here and keep going straight along the path. There is 3 dwarven
dudes up here you'll just want to jump over and head up the path. Turn right
when you see an opening and save here. Go back to where the dwarves were and
keep running back and fourth and a dwarf with an ice weapon will start fighting
them. Let him kill off 2 dwarves and take their gold.
Enter the door when it swings open which takes a few moments. Enter here and go
along the hallway to the throne room and speak with the kings son, Dain. This
ends this quest and another is before you.
_______________________________________________________________________
[-Section 14-]
[-The Rebellion-]
[-Quest 4: Find the trove of weapons that the rebels have stored in the mines
below, destroy it, and return to Prince Dain.-]
Turn around now from the Kings querters and head down the hallway and take your
first right at the hallway. Follow this hall down to where some guy is fighting
a monster and help him out and then take the monsters stuff. Run now away from
the horde of monsters chasing you, and just go through the halls, until you get
to 2 doorways, and the game will load the next section. Speak with the dwarven
guard and then drop off the bridge to the platform. Now run and jump to the
doorway below and enter this small cave. Go through the doors and up the hall to
the save point by staying straight on the path. Turn around now and take your
first right into the next set of doors. Now you'll have some traps up here so
just time them right and you'll make it through just fine.
What I did was for the first set of hammers I ran to the left part of the wall
just after getting past the first set. Next I ran to the right wall after going
to the middle to avoid the second set and then ran straight through without
stopping and through the door for the last set. Run up the hall and you'll see
some boxes full of coal and a wooden barrier. Behind the left box closest to the
barrier is 100 gold so just push the right box straight on. This moves the box
right and now you can squeeze through and take the 100 gold. Jump over the boxes
and barrier and keep going up the path. When you reach a large open area in the
mine a big ass drill truck plows through a wall disabling access a certain way.
Head up the steep path now and kill the 2 monsters ahead and take their gold and
exploding stars. Once you go up the next hallway into the room go left and enter
this room. Equip the throwing axes and kill the 2 Zealots on the right and left.
The best way to hit the zealots is to wait till they start throwing their weapon
and throw yours and then move. The throwing of their weapon forces them to stay
still and you easily get in a free blow. Collect their gems and gold and then Go
around to the left side of this room. The best all around method for killing
these guys is to target them with the target button and hack them with your
weapon.
Go up the elevator now and kill the 2 zealots in this area and then go right to
the next hallway leading up. Either kill the 3-4 zealots here or just run and
you'll eventually be in a room with an anvil. A prisoner starts speaking to you
so hit the switch to set him free. Go left and around the next hallway on the
right is a switch so hit it with your weapon to set the shopkeeper free. Go up
the hall and kill the 2 guards up here and enter the room with the sliding cage.
If you're low on magic just lure the guy here to near the barrels and he'll
throw a exploding star at you so move far back to avoid being hit by the blast
and you have solved a quest. Now turn around and don't bother fighting this guy
as he hits you once and you die.
Equip your fire spell now since you should've collected some mana potions and
use it on the barrel to your right blocking a gate. Run up this way and when you
enter this next room allow all 3 monsters to fall down and unless you are good
enough I wouldn't bother fighting them. Wait till all 3 guys are on the bottom
floor and then climb the ladder to the right or left. Once on this second floor
there is a barrel on the right and a very small cave to jump into. Jump in the
cave and follow the path until you reach some fan blades. Luckily since you
probably haven't saved in a while these blades do minimal damage to you. Just
try and time them right and then use the regeneration spell of healing potions
to heal if you become injured.
Run up to a lit room and a cut-scene ensues. Fall into this torch litten room
and then head down the hall to another cell door. Run in here and fight the 3
monsters and then climb the ladder on the pillar closest to the entrance of the
room. Jump over the wooden beam and then run along to the back where another
barrel is and another opening. More guards here so fall down here and kill them
if you want and then run up the hall and take a right where you can save your
game FINALLY. Run up the hallway and go left to the area where the elevators
were and go down the elevator. Go down another floor and run all the way up the
hallway on the right. This takes you to the outside bridge area where you need
to cross so jump over this and climb the scalable wall.
Once across the bridge the guard you spoke to eralier tells you of the tunnels
and be careful of them. Turn left now once back up this hall and save if you
choose. Turn around now and go left and you'll be back in Dains castle. Run up
the paths killing monsters or just fleeing whatever you choose until you see the
shimmering area to the left where you can save again if you so choose to. Turn
around now and go left up the hall and the guard outside of Dains throne room
speaks to you.

[-Section 15-]
[-Scepter Of Regency-]
[-Quest 5: Find the brigands in Duskwood that stole the Scepter Of
Regency, Recapture it and return it to prince Dain so he can
assume the Stoneheart Throne.-]
Once back in control of Drake you need to go back down the path to where the
shop is and the 2 shopkeepers will give you some things.
Buy what you'd like and now leave this area going straight. Run past the room
with the exploding gems and then when in the room with the guys shooting flames
at you run left into the next hallway. Follow the hallway past the stone golems
unless you think you might be able to beat them and get 2 Earth Gems. Follow the
hallways around and down the slope when you get near the doors and kill the 2
dwarf guards to leave the castle. Exit out the rounded doors and go across the
bridge and enter the cave here. When you enter the woods take a right, right
away and save if you like. Now go out and right and follow the path around.
Eventually on the left an ogre pops out and is extremely difficult at this time
to beat. If you manage to beat him you'll get some mana potion and 41 gold. Head
up the path a ways and another ogre near a fire is here so if you can beat him
he'll give you 41 gold and 2 throwing axes. Now there is a left path and a
straight one so stay straight and you'll encounter another Ogre. Just run away
from this one cause he only gives you 5 gold and a measley healing potion. Fall
in the hole to the left and save the game if you like and then climb back out
via the ladder to your right. Go straight up the next section and another Ogre
pops out so battle him if you choose. He gives out 41 gold and a mana potion.
Head up the path a small ways and if you kill the Ogre here he will give out 41
gold and a restore potion. The next section or area has some giant mushrooms
surrounding a magic. Hop on a mushroom and grab the Mana Shield magic on the
stone. Turn around now and go up the sloped path that's behind you. An Ogre pops
out and gives 35 gold and a mana potion should you choose to fight it. Keep
going straight on the path until another Ogre pops out and gives 35 gold and a
mana potion should you choose to fight it. Walk a small ways up and from the
right another Ogre pops out and gives 40 Gold and a mana potion should you
choose to fight it.
Ahead is 2 Ogres so if you want to fight them then equip a good magic and stand
back. Keep using the magics and allow the 2 Ogres to be close to one another.
When you run low on magic and need to rely on your weapon make sure they are
close together and they will whack each other. Keep focusing on just 1 Ogre and
the other will help you kill it. After killing these 2 creatures enter the gate
that's now opened on the left. Enter the cave and follow the path to another
Ogre behind a large rock. If you kill him you'll get 32 gold and a Dasher Nut.
Go further into the cave and another Ogre is ahead. He has a lightning weapon so
try just using close ranged attacks. When you kill him he gives a Oakheart
weapon rune and 105 gold and a potion. Run to the left now after beating this
Ogre and speak with the Dasher.
Head back to where you got the Mana Magic and stay along that path continuing
straight. When you get to where there is the fire in the middle head right along
this path. Just avoid the Ogres along the way unless you just want extra
expierience and drop in the hole and save if you like. Go along the main path,
straight and eventually you'll see the Dasher ahead. Listen to what he says and
he ends up croaking anyways, How corny, anyways get a new magic called Deadly
Swarm. You now have a new quest that ties in with the completion of the last
quest.
_______________________________________________________________________
[-Section 16-]
[-The Dashers-]
[-Quest 6: Pass through the Dasher's protective gauntlet to prove your worth to
their tribe. Then find some way to gain the assistance to the Dashers in
assaulting the Ogre Brigands.-]
The Dasher told you to kill as many Ogres as possible so make up your own mind
weather you'd like to battle the 3 just ahead. When you beat them fall in the
right hole and save if you want to. Run all the way back to the beginning of the
forest where you descended earlier with Aerrin. When you get to the first
intersection where I mentioned to avoid going left, this time go left. Just
follow the main path going straight all the way till you see a large tree on the
right with some giant looking claw marks and a hole in it. Jump inside this hole
in the tree and follow it all the way through.
As soon as the next screen loads up make a right and save the game if you like.
Go out the tree and there is a dasher and some tentacles/plants sticking out of
the ground that shoot exploding gems. Run past them avoiding all contact and
then up the main path. Eventually you'll see a bridge that you must cross with
some tentacles shooting explosing stars up at you. Jump across quickly and when
you reach the other side there is a Dasher Brute here. Fight him if you wish and
then keep heading up the main path. When you get to a part with lots of shooting
of the tentacles, be warned that things are about to get difficult.
Run left avoiding all contact with the Dasher and the tentacles and head up this
main path. Another Dasher Brute is up here and he is Swarm spell happy so be
careful. The swarm spell with the Dashers kills them but releases the deadly
bees on you. Keep on the main path after you get past all the madness and you
will eventually slide down a hill and come to a stop. Keep following the curvy
path up and a Dasher Brute and a Dasher Scout are up here so fight them if you
choose. Once up the path a little more is more tentacles shooting exploding
gems. Just go straight here if you want to avoid being hurt badly. Take the
potion to the left if you need it however and then head up the main path.
Should you choose to fall in the hole on the left, be warned it's extremely
difficult. Down here is 2 Dasher Brutes with attitudes. You have very little
room to spare down here but the reward seems worth it. Kill both Dashers and
receive the Heroism spell. Climb up the ladder after collecting the Mana potion
down here. Go up the path and you will be in the Dashers village and the main
guy gives you a warning so heed it. Go up the middle path and speak with Tamris.
Follow the spirit of the wood and it will say a riddle sort of. Jump down this
area and get on the giant red mushroom in the back of this room. Jump to the
center structure and you will pass this test.
You'll get a Blood Rune Body Shield so now speak with Tamris again. Tamris
decides against helping getting rid of the Ogres and now you must fight him to
the yield. Whatever you do don't accidentially attack any other Dashers as they
join in on the fight and make things more difficult. Try cornering Tamris near a
wall and near the 2 cave structures and then attacking with all you've got.
Spells seem pointless in this battle so you must rely on your wits and weapons.
When you finally beat him he will yield so don't accidentially hit him again
after he yields or he'll start attacking again. You will finish off this quest
and receive another.
______________________________________________________________________
[-Section 17-]
[-The Thunder Clan-]
[-Quest 7: Penetrate the lair of the Ogres and find the Scepter of Regency.-]
Leave the area where you fought Tamris and once in the center of town go to the
right tree. Go up a small ways and jump when you see a gem-like thing near the
ceiling and take the restore potions. Enter the shop and buy items if you need
or want them. Turn left and head up this path and speak to the Spirit Wood. Take
the Soul Bastion and equip it if you like and then head back to the main
entrance of the village. Run to the large green gem on the left to be teleported
out. When you teleport to this section go right to the next hollow stump and a
small ways in turn left and save if you like. Head up the path now and out of
the tree and fight an Ogre out here if you choose to. Run up this path
afterwards and keep fighting or running from the Ogres in the open areas to the
right.
Fall in the first hole on the right and save if you like. CLimb back out and
head out on the main path. When you get to a fork in the forest then just keep
going straight along this path. An Ogre is just ahead so fight it if you like.
When you get to an open area with a fire burning head right or fight the 2 Ogres
your choice. Head up this path a small ways and fight another Ogre or keep
running end eventually on the left is another save hole so fall in and save if
you like. Head up the path after climbing out the hole and fight the Ogre or
just keep running. You'll see a rock wall with a symbol back here so use your
weapon on it to pass through.
Head up this path a small ways and 2 Ogres approach from behind you so run or
fight. Ahead a little ways another Ogre is in a cove to the left so run or fight
him and then head across the bridge. Once across the bridge another Ogre on the
right awaits you so kill it or keep going along the main path. ANother bridge is
ahead so cross it and to the right is another cove with another Ogre in it so
fight it or just keep going straight. Run up the path and into the cave and to
the left is a save section so save if you like. Turn around now and head out the
cave going left. You'll see a opening further back and a very daunting and
difficult task ahead of you. Luckily the Dasher Brute here helps you out by
bashing at the 2 Ogres. Let him focus on the one while you kill the first one.
Once the first one is killed go after the next one and you and the Dasher
shouldn't have any problems killing it. Head inside the now open gates and hit
the box to get some exploding gems. The box ahead and left near some barrels has
a Body Gem in it so collect it. Head up the cave and kill the Ogre or just head
left and a box with nothing in it is ahead so keep moving till you see another
Ogre. Kill it ot just keep moving on. Go forward and another Ogre is ahead
fighting with a Dasher so hit the boxes to the right, claim restores and then
help the Dasher kill the Ogre.
After killing the Ogre switch weapon runes to either water or Oakheart as you
must kill the Dasher too. Kill him and then head through the gate to the right
and back further in the room. Run into this cave and up a ways and a box on the
right has a healing potion in it so take it and keep going straight. Hit the 2
boxes up here for Gold and Mana potion and the one on the right is empty so keep
going straight up the path. Here is a tough Ogre/pirate boss so cast the herosim
spell and take a Vanish Dusts as not to be seen. Kill him and receive some good
runes. Enter the small domed cave and take the Scepter Of Regency and you have
completed this quest.

[-Section 18-]
[-Scepter Of Regency-]
[-Quest 8: Find the brigands in Duskwood that stole the Scepter Of
Regency, Recapture it and return it to prince Dain so he can
assume the Stoneheart Throne.-]
Find your way back and avoid Ogres unless you just want to fight them. Instead
of taking a right go straight all the way back this cave and hit the switch by
jumping and exit out this gate. This gives you a shorcut back to Dains palace.
Run left and up this path until you reach a save point to the right. Just follow
the path and take the veering left path into the cave and you'll be at Dains
Castle. Speak with Martel and find out that King Aidens body was stolen and
you'll have a new quest.
_______________________________________________________________________
[-Section 19-]
[-The Two Princes-]
[-Quest 9, Locate and Rescue Prince Dain and Prince Tor so that they can stop
the elemental scourge from continuing-]
(Note: When battling Fire Elementals make sure you have your Ice claw rune
equipped for when you receive the Flamefang from one elemental you won't want to
equip it. If you do equip it in this cave it will prove useless in battling
these minions since they are already made of fire.)
Turn around now and leave the main room where Martel is and take a right. Go up
this hall a small ways and take another right to a save point and save here.
Turn around and take a right and go all the way down these halls, fighting guys
if you choose. Eventually on the right is a save point so save and then turn
around and go right. The next screen will load and now you need to jump to the
middle part. Jump next to the right and land on the rocky platform down here.
Enter the door and save if you like. Enter the door here and fight or avoid the
Fire Elementals inside here. Go through the sliding rocky door and up the path.
Jump over the pots of coal and remember when the Big drill vehicle plowed into
the wall blocking passage? You can now go this way since the vehicle is gone and
fight the elementals if you so choose to. There is 3 of them here and they shoot
fire when you're far away.
Once you either kill them or ignore them go right and on your first right is a
save point so save if you like. Run up the path a small ways and you'll see
where the drill vehicle has come to a stop. Take a left into the fire cavern and
avoid the flames in here. I encountered my first Major bug in this room as if
you get to the right flame if you go that way you get stuck and end up dying so
avoid going that way. Run through the middle of this room and you'll be okay. In
the next room is 2 Fire Elementals so either avoid fighting them and jump over
the gap of lava or fight them. Be careful not to fall into the gap since Lava
pretty much hurts and melts all flesh and bones to dust.
For the easiest route go to the right side of this cavey room to avoid the Fire
Elemental shooting fire at you and also a better way to go. Once to this other
side kill the elemental if you want and go right up the main path of this cave.
Go ahead and ignore me saying not to fight this Fire Elemental as he has a new
Rune add on for your weapon when you defeat him. Go up the path now and take
your first right when an opening comes up. You can save here if you like and
then turn around and go right up the main path in this cave. When entering this
room there is 2 more Fire Elementals to fight or just leave alone and avoid,
your choice.
Go right now into the doorway and follow the pathway down to a large opening
with a Fire Elemental in it. 2 skeleton dudes are here which you will have to
fight sorry to say. Kill them and then the Fire Elemental and get the Glacial
Talisman from this Elemental and a door opens. Go through the door and a
skeleton dude runs up so either kill it or keep on going. Enter the next large
room and you must battle 3 Fire Elementals to move on. Once you kill them a door
on the left opens up so go this way now. Go down the rocky path here and when
you enter a large room, to the left is some people trapped inside a force field.
Just as you walk up to them a Fire Elemental pops out of the ground and you must
fight it. After killing this beast which takes a mighty long time fight Aidens
Ghost next.
Switch to the Soul Bastion if you want to beat this boss and you'll recieve a
new Rune Called Dark Bringer. Run into the next room ahead and walk or run into
the red Teleporter light. You speak with Dain and find out that Tor might have
been lost or killed. You finish this quest and embark on a new one.

[-Return To Citadel-]
[-Quest 10, Make your way back to Celestia with King Dain's new promise of aid.-
]
As soon as you turn around and leave the Kings main room Celestia's image pops
up and you automatically transport back to the floating Island. Don't speak with
Celestia just yet, instead go down to where the store is and speak with Petros
who asks you to take a rune to his Lieutenant. Now head back up to where
Celestia is but don't speak with here until you speak with the Lieutenent first.
After speaking with him you can now speak to Celestia. You will now complete a
quest and embark on yet another.

[-Section 21-]
[-The Star Of Erathia-]
[-Quest 11, Travel to the southern glaciers to locate the lost star of Erathia
for Celestia-]
At the start of the quest the Lady Archon gives you the Thundermaker Rune. Go
down now to where the you first entered this floating Island and enter the other
room with the floating thing. Hop on it and the guy takes you to a good area to
land at and wishes he could go along, Right. Hop off the floating elevator and
then along the main path to the left is some floating ice platforms to jump
across. Get to the last one that has the Air Armor Rune and it auto equips for
the situation. All armor runes auto-equip and are the best rune up to that
specific point. Each time you receive a new rune within that specific quest I
have the charted attributes listed above. I didn't catch every rune as this was
a little weird to notice at first. Use the pause button and press the character
link in the pause menu and then the Armor link to get a view of the changes or
just use my chart. Now just jump back to the main icy path and enter the cave.
Don't forget that since this is a frozen wasteland the best weapon or weapon
rune to use would be the Flame Fang so equip that instead. Go up the sloped area
of the path and your first right has a save point so save here if you wish. Turn
around and take a right to the main path and you'll eventually slide down a
slippery path. Once you've reached the bottom follow the path to another steep
slippery slope and slide once again. Once in control of Drake keep following the
main path. You'll eventually reach an open area with a Yeti and an 2 Ice
Elementals. The Ice Elementals are a breeze to kill so get them first. The Yeti
is a tough enemy so choose to fight it or just run from it.
Walk up the main cave path a bit more and another Yeti comes in after you. Be
wary of this Yeti as he has a type of bomb fire magic that does a great deal of
damage to you. Either battle him or just run away and head out on the main path.
Up a ways in a large opening of the cave is 4 easy Ice Elementals so kill them
and receive their water gems. Go left now and enter the shack looking cave.
Fight an Ice Elemental around the right corner and then enter the next room. Hit
the box to the right and get a light gem. Go right now and enter a room with 2
Yetis and an Ice Elemental and try your best to defeat them. If you run back
into the hall before you entered this room you'll only have to battle 1 yeti.
Now take care of the other 2 and then enter the room to the left and hit the
switch with your weapon. Move the metal box to the left and hop on the ledge
back here.
Go through this small hall and you'll face a Glacial Elemental who is very hard
at times to beat. Kill him and then go back to the room you were just in with
the switch. Hit the switch with your weapon and then hurry and run back to the
other room where you killed the Glacial Elemental. There is a door that this
opened in this room so hurry and enter it. Once you go up this new path another
Yeti approaches claiming only the ancients are allowed past this point. Prove
him wrong by killing him and collecting his goodies. Head up the main path and
then head up to an open area. Don't stand too close to the edge as some
lightning bolts shoot down on you. Jump left to the bottom area and then run to
where the elevator is and get on it quick.
Fight the Yeti Lord, which is no small task and get the light armor rune and the
Holy Wrath Spell. Get back on the elevator and go up a level. Be careful as the
lightning bolt and a Yeti is up here still. Run to the Geothermal Generator and
walk up to it. You'll insert some gems and the ground starts shaking. This
sort've ends this quest for now and another begins.

[-Section 22-]
[-The Ice Wall-]
[-Quest 12: The Giagantic ice wall blocks your way. Find a way to destroy it.-]
Fall back down carefully or take the elevator down if you want to avoid small
injury. Enter the now open door and this hall/room is a trap so avoid the flying
exploding gems. In the next room Oddly there is a lighting bolt generator you
must avoid and attack another Glacial Elemental. I think, not too sure that the
bolt prevents the Glacial Elemental from casting his winter freeze spell so that
puts odds in your favor kinda. Go to the right and go through the swirly portal
and keep heading up the path. This next section is extremely hard as there is a
Yeti and a Glacial Elemental. Kill that Glacial Elemantal first since he is
freeze spell happy giving both of them free time to beat on you. Once they are
defeated enter the next room and go right into the doorway and when in this hall
you'll recognize it. Hit the switch on the left and the door opens and a Yeti is
in this room so either run from it or just kill the damn thing.
This is the room from earlier so head left and leave this area with the wooden
shack like cave. When you enter this large area there is a Yeti and another
Glacial Elemental so take out the Glacial Elemental first and most likely the
Yeti will run away. Use the fire spell on the Ice wall and it soon melts away
for you. Don't worry about the Yeti he's just a big chicken as far as I can
tell. Enter where the wall once stood now and once past where the wall the
second quest becomes completed.

[-Section 23-]
[-The Star Of Erathia (Cont.)-]
[-Quest 11, Travel to the southern glaciers to locate the lost star of Erathia
for Celestia-]
Up a small ways past the fallen Ice Wall is an open section with a Yeti
Shaman(Which I recommend taking down first.) A Ice Elemental and a Glacial
Elemental to the left. Take the little guy out next and the Glacial Elemental,
luckily allows you to beat his pals first before attacking you. Now attack this
last thing or just run away from it. After either killing the Glacial Elemental
save the game finally to the left and then head up the main path going left
first. Once in the open either run around or battle the Glacial Elemental here.
Go up the path a small ways and when you see a section going right it's your
decision if you want to venture fourth. There is a little guy here and back
further a Yeti Shaman and it's a dead end so you make the choice. Head straight
on this path and keep following this main path. You'll jump down from a high
ledge and run up and the screen auto loads the next section.
Run up and left now and you can save the game if you like. Take a left out the
main cave path and up a small ways is a big open area and a Glacial Elemental
and a Yeti Shaman. Get the Glacial Elemental first since he casts the frozen
spell on you and then the Yeti Shaman. When you kill the Glacial Elemental a
little guy runs in so kill the Yeti Shaman next. Now kill the little guy and
collect gold and items. Up here in this open area is a box and some old plywood
sticking out of the snow covered ground. Run up the next area and immediately
you'll face off against a Glacial Elemental or you can run around it. Once
killed or if you went around him cross the Ravine via the convient Log Bridge
and there is a cabin to your left. Back a ways is some extremely hard bosses
called Revenant Crew. Before facing them though jump up the cliffy part at the
back and you can jump down and land on the other deck and take the powerups
here. They are ghost-like and I believe you must equip your dark run first and
hit them a few times with it and then go back to the flame blade. Make sure all
3 of you, Drake and the 2 enemies are standing on the wooden doors to fall
through or if you beat these guys you won't have the extra weight needed to fall
through. Once you fall through do whatever you can to beat these guys and read
the scroll on the metal box if you choose.
Use the metal box that's movaeble and this next part is extremely retarded but
heres what you do. Get on the top set of metal boxes and equip the fire spell.
Shoot the fire spell out twice so a lightning bolt in the next room strikes the
metal box just below allowing you passage past this point. See what I mean by
stupid? Go up the main path and there is a Glacial Elemental up here so watch
his freeze spell and use some fire spells on him also or just run around him.
Walk up this path and you'll get a cut-scene so now you must battle an easy
Twice born and the Black Guard Master. Equip your Nightbringer rune to kill the
Black Guard Rune easier and further back is 2 more Twice Borns to kill them
next. Back where the twice borns stood is a piece of ship sticking out of the
snow. Jump on it and get a healing potion and a restore potion also.
From here run up the way you haven't been yet and take your first left and save
the game finally if you choose. Up here follow the pathway and just avoid the
Revenant Crewman since they are extremely hard to beat. Make your way to the
ship and jump up the snow embankment to the ship and there is a large gap
further back. Run to the other side as there isa closer way to land when
falling down this hole. Fall the rest of the way and once in this hallway of the
ship another Revenant Crewman runs up so avoid him or fight him and then fall
down the hole on the right to proceed. Fight the Crewman if you choose and
you'll automatically read the ships log. Destroy all boxes in here to get some
extra goodies.Fall down the new open hole and you'll have to fight this crewman.
After killing him off you'll see a large swirly void wall. Don't walk or try
walking through it as it takes health away from Drake. Push the metal boxes on
either side of you to the force field and it dissappears. A Ghost warns his
Ghost captain of your prsence.
Run up the sloped area and Kill the body by chopping at it with the Fire Rune
Weapon attachment and evenyually the body somehow thanks you and you get the
Star Of Erathia which you can equip if you want to.
This ends this Quest and you get another one in it's place which is small.

[-Section 23-]
[-Airship Escape-]
[-Quest 12: Now that you've found the Star Of Erathia, find your way to the
surface and escape via the waiting Airship.-]
Head up the main path until you reach an area that has 2 Crewman and a crooked
pole to the right. Either fight them or continue on the main path now sloping
up. Go through the open area and you'll already be at the airship so board it.
This ends this tiny quest as you descend back to the forest YIPEE!!!

[-Section 24-]
[-Stop The Legion-]
[-Quest 13: Find the Underground passage beneath Duskwood that the legion is
using to resupply Stronghold. Find a way to cut that supply line.-]
Run down the path after getting off the airship and take your first right once
heading up this main path. There is a wall that looks like a big wall made of
twigs. Make sure you have the Star Of Erathia Rune equipped so you can knock it
down. Run up a small ways and another screen loads. Turn right immediately and
you can save the game. MORE ON THE WAY!!!
