------
Story |
------

You are Scrubby, the dedicated caretaker of the Norns, who were created by
the Shee. Your purpose is to help the Norns populate three different worlds:
the Tree World of Albia (which is where you start off), the Island World, and
the Swamp World. You need to raise your Norns to be happy, healthy, and
intelligent, so that they will survive and thrive.

-----------
Life-Cycle |
-----------

This is for the life-cycle of the Norns, and what you can expect from each one.

Egg-Its the first stage. They don't do anything, and develop slowly. Placing an
egg in the incubator will speed up the hatching process. Make sure to raise
them quickly in the Island World and Swamp World, because Grendels are
always looking to steal unguarded eggs.

Baby-Babies are the Norns you need to watch. Feed them often, make sure they
don't play with anything that could hurt them, and always keep them
    occupied with toys.

Toddler-This is the Norn learning stage. If you want them to learn good
manners, make sure you enforce them here.

Teenager-This is the stage that a Norn can develope aggressive manners. They
also become interested in other gender Norns. Keep them busy and hope
this stage passes without dragging bad manners into the next stage.

Adult-In this stage, Norns breed often, and they are the Norns they will be for
the rest of their lives. Of course, even an adult Norn still has a chance
     of picking up bad habits.

Senoir-Norns tend to stay home more often, and they might do bad things, being
forgetful of their lessons. Females tend to not breed as much, and might
even stop. Males will continue to breed normally. You must give extra
care to senoirs, they get sick easier, and don't heal quickly.

Death-When a Norn's life bar is entirely gone, they are dead. Go to their body
and hit select to make it disappear and get the reason for their death.

----------------
Important Items |
----------------

These are items and things you can get in the game. Its not a complete list,
yet. I'm not sure of all their names, so I just based it on what they look
like.

Milk Bottles-This is an infinite food source, mostly for babies and toddlers,
but good if you run out of food. You get four bottles that can
be re-filled constantly at the Home.

Apples-A sweet food, grows in the trees, and tend to be abundant.

Lemons-Another food, grows in trees.

Grapes-Another food, grows in trees.

Carrots-Another food, grows in the ground.

Pie-A treat for Norns, can be found in the home.

Blue Herb-Cures pain and some illnesses, too much may be bad.

Daisy-Cures tiredness, but too much can be bad.

Mushroom-Can make your Norn sick.

Purple Pods-Too much can be bad, cures tiredness.

Teddy Bear-A toy to keep Norns happy, and make sure they're not bored.

Tops-A toy to occupy Norns.

Ball-A toy to occupy Norns. If they are agressive or bored, this toy is the
    best thing to use.

Incubator-Used to speed up egg development.

Transport Gate-Used to transport to other worlds. Each world has a quota you
need to fill with Norns before being able to go to the next
world. You need to send a male and female through the gate, both
need to be capable of breeding. The worlds can be switched back
and forth via the start menu. Only the current world you're in
is active, the others freeze how you left them till you go back
              to them.

---------
Praising |
---------

What you should praise your Norns for, and why.

Praise a Norn when it eats.
Praising a Norn when it eats ensures that the Norn will eat on its own,
seeing that its a good thing. If you see a Norn eat on its own, praise it again
so it will continue the behavior, and pass it on to other Norns.

Praise a Norn when it plays with a toy.
Praising a Norn when it plays with a toy ensures that the Norn will not
play with food. Food can be hard to come by when the population gets larger, so
keep your Norns from playing with it. Also, a bored Norn may get in trouble, by
getting abusive and beating up other Norns, or beating up the little animals.
The little dodo looking creature is dangerous to Norns; when abused, they mass
attack the Norn who hit them, and can kill your Norn.

Praise a Norn just because its being good.
Praising a Norn while it continues it's learned behavior ensures that it
will be less likely to pick up bad habits from bad Norns, or from Grendels.

---------
Scolding |
---------

What you should scold your Norns for, and why.

Scold a Norn when it plays with food.
Scolding a Norn when it plays with food is a way to discontinue the habit.
Following this scolding, its best to give that Norn a toy and have them play
with it. Praise them if they play with it, do not praise them if you give them
the toy and they just put it down.

Scold a Norn if its abusive to another Norn.
A Norn thats abusive with other Norns is bad. It causes life bars to go
down. Scold the Norn, and give it a toy. Praise it if it plays with the toy.

Scold a Norn if its abusive to animals.
Some animals are vicious, like the little Dodo/Mouse looking creature. When
abused, they will mass attack a Norn, and even possibly kill a Norn. Once
again, scold the Norn, and give it a toy to play with. If it plays with the
toy, praise it.

--------------------
Tree World of Albia |
--------------------

This is the world you begin in. There are four parts to it, the bottom two
parts are open to you. Your Norns need to explore the rest before you can.
Starting from the Home, the incubator is located to the left. The transport
gate is located above, but can't be seen till you get a Norn to explore up
there. You need about eight Norns to make it to the next world. Then you need
to guide a male and female capable of breeding to access the next world, which
is the Island World.
