Translation and Interpretation of Dialogue in Athena: Awakening From The
Ordinary Life

Disc 1, Chapter 1: School’s out and Athena and her friend Rika meet in the
school’s atrium.

Rika: Athena? Athena?
A: Rika, it’s getting late. I’m hungry. Let’s go home now.
R: Damn it. I lost it!
A: Lost it? What did you lose?
R: Our tickets to the Dino Aquarium. I don’t know where I left them.
A: Typical Rika. I won’t be able to get in tomorrow without one. And we promised
we’d go out somewhere together. I was really looking forward to going somewhere
fun with you, like the aquarium.
R: Sorry…
A: It’s ok. Let’s go look for them.
R: Oh…
A: The tickets must be somewhere in the school. Let’s go look for them together.
R: Okay! Let’s start looking for them. Let’s start by looking in the last
classroom we were in. I’ll head over there now.
(Rika runs off) A: Rika! Wait for me!
A:(speaking to herself): Really, it’s quite simple. My name is Athena Asamiya.
I’m a Freshman at Seikasu Gakuen Municipal High School. Rika Kashiwazaki is a
classmate and my best friend, as I see it, though she makes me mad sometimes.
This time tomorrow, I was supposed to go to the dino aquarium with her. Well it
seems now we can’t cause she lost our tickets. Anyways, I should probably help
her find them now.
When leaving the Atrium, a student librarian says: Athena! Up here! What are you
doing here? School’s been out for a while. 
A: I know school’s out and I should
probably get going.
SL: Right now, I’m organizing books. The books are so heavy… it would be nice if
you could help me out Athena.
A: Sorry, I’m looking for Rika now. She ran off a minute ago.
SL: But I really need help.
A: I’m sorry.
SL: Ok then. I’ll see you around.
A: Yup. See you!

People you can talk to: Schoolboy A (With broom): I feel relieved after that
last exam. I just finished waxing the stairs. Don’t go up them. They’re
slippery.
Schoolgirl C (With broom): Oh yes. The final exam is over. I just waxed the
stairs. Don’t go up them.
When you try to go up the stairs: A: It looks like they have been waxed
recently.
Igarishi: Hey, Athena Asamiya, from classroom 1-A. There is a guy that wants to
meet you.
A: Who?
I: He just went to the bathroom.
Mr. Sannomiya, headmaster of the school: Hey Miss Asamiya.
A: Yes Mr. Sannomiya?
S: What are you doing here? School’s been dismissed.
A: I forgot something in a classroom I was in.
S: I hope you find it soon.
A: Yes.
Schoolboy C: I’m in a hurry, don’t get in my way!
A: Ok! Sorry.
S: If you don’t go home soon, you will get locked in the classroom! I’ll lock
it- I’ll lock it.
If you try to go in the boys bathroom: A: No. I would feel ashamed.

In Classroom 1-C: Bunroku, a new teacher: Hi Athena-san. My name is Bunroku
Tatsumokoji. Here, have a cherry blossom rice cake. I know they’re your
favorite. It was made at Uchi, a candy store with a long history. It should make
you feel better if you’re feeling down.
Schoolgirl D: Hey, are you going to eat that rice cake?
A:  Yes, of course. I’m not looking for a fight.
SD: So… you won’t give me it.
A: Well… no.
SD: Let’s get out of here. If we’re too slow, we’ll be stuck in here.
SE: Yeah, I’m going.
A: Well then, see you next week.
If you talk to SE: Athena, why are you still here?
SE: I’m excited to go home for the weekend.

In Classroom 1-B: Athena meets her friend, Kensou, who has an unrequited love
for her. He ends up being a major character, as well as Athena’s hero.
K (talking to himself): Finally, I’m going to man up and tell her how I feel.
I’m too scared to tell her, cause I know she’ll reject me. I can’t stop thinking
about her. I think of her even when I’m sleeping. She’s so cute! I’ve pondered
this decision for three days and three nights. I’m Athena’s knight in shining
armor. I feel like someone’s behind me…
Oh my god! Athena! Well, I have to go now! (Runs away as quickly as possible,
embarrassed as hell.) A: What the heck was that?

In Classroom 1-A: Athena sees Rika: A: Rika! Have you found the tickets? 
R: I
can’t find it. I guess it’s not here… That’s it! Today I showed you our tickets.

A: Oh yeah… in the girl’s bathroom.
R: Well, it’s time for a lunch break! I’ll look in the bathroom, you keep
looking in the classroom.
A: Oh Rika, wait a minute. (Rika runs to the bathroom) It looks like I’m alone
again! First of all, let’s look in the classroom. What’s that on Rika’s desk?
After learning of her psychokinetic powers, and seeing a foreshadowing vision:
What was that? That’s it! The dino aquarium tickets are in Rika’s locker! Are
they really there?
Upon attempting to open the locker: A: It’s locked… Rika has the key. Oh, where
did Rika go?
Entering the girls bathroom:
SA: Hey Athena. You’re back?
A: Yeah, I’ve got things to do. Did Rika come in here?
SA: Rika? She went into the bathroom a while ago and then left.
A: Ok. Thank you.
SA: Bunroku-san was looking for you. He’s in room 1-C.
A: Is that so? All right. Let’s go to 1-C.
Upon leaving the bathroom: Announcement on the intercom: The school will be
closing soon. The door of each classroom will be locked.
Bunroku: Hi Athena-san. Here’s a confectionary sweet that’s been around since
the Edo period.
A: Oh, yes.
S: I will tell you about your powers. You can use your powers to see through
doors, to see where people went before.
Back in 1-A:  R: I hope the tickets didn’t fall down the toilet. Oh… what should
I do?
A: It will be six o’ clock soon! Hey Rika, do you have the key to your locker on
you?
R: What? The locker? There’s no way they’re in there, I already looked.
A: Just give me the key so I can check.
R: Sure.
Upon finally opening the locker: A: What’s that? R: Oh crap…
R: Athena, nice! They were there!
A: Classic Rika… not looking in the most obvious place. And there’s your crystal
pendant. I gave it to you as a birthday present.
R: Oh yes, the pendant.
A: Come on Rika… Why aren’t you wearing it?
R: I forgot about it. (Smiles like she’s lying) I don’t really like it to be
honest. At least you found it, and the tickets.
Announcement: It is now six o’ clock. The doors to each classroom have been
locked automatically.
R: Shit! The door locked! What should we do Athena?
A: I’ll get us out, don’t worry. 
Athena finds a cardkey left on one of the
deskchairs and uses it to open the locked classroom door. A: There we go… R:
Thanks for all your hard work today. Let’s get out of here.
A: You too Rika!

Disc 2, Chapter 2: Athena goes to the dino aquarium without Rika, who says she
won’t be able to make it. What a loser. She gets into a submersible elevator.
Announcement: Welcome to the Dino Aquarium! The aquarium relies on the latest
and greatest gene technology from WAD. Watch as revived ancient dinosaurs and
fish swim around you. Each floor of the building offers a reproduction of the
sea as it was a hundred million years ago. Thanks to advances in biotechnology,
ancient life has been revived. Please take your time. We hope you enjoy the
aquarium to your heart’s content.
The first floor is the Triassic sea from 230 million years ago.
If you talk to the little boy: Wow that dinosaur is so big! It looks like a
dragon! I wonder what its name was?
A: Huh, there’s an emergency phone.
Satoshi, a man in the elevator: So they created the dinosaurs by taking genes in
the blood of a mosquito that was preserved in amber.
Bookmark, his female friend replies: Is that so? 
S: Yup, that’s how they made
the dinosaurs around the aquarium.
B: Wow, that’s amazing!
S: And you can thank WAD for building this place and reviving these ancient
creatures.
S: Look! I think those are ancestors to dolphins!
Athena begins to feel strange. She turns around to see a strange jester she saw
in one of her visions. A: Who are you!? Clown: Hello Athena. Do you like
dancing? Your friend may not like dinosaurs but they are all dear friends to me.
Would you like to dance? (Laughs maniacally)
A: It’s gone! Now what? It felt like his voice was inside my head.
Athena can now read minds, leading to twice as much dialogue for each character.
Boy: In thoughts: Those fish look scary. I’ve got a bad feeling about them… 
A:
I understand what people are thinking! How’d I do that?
Upon reading the woman’s mind who’s talking to the man about how the dinosaurs
were made: I don’t believe what he’s saying. Sounds like a plot to a movie.
(Jurassic Park refrence.) And there is only a sea dinosaur here. That doesn’t
mean it came back to life. It could have been undersea for years before being
discovered. I better say something nice. Sorry Satoshi, but you’re a really
boring guy. Oh why are we here?
A: I understand what people are thinking. No way!
S: In thoughts: What an idiot! I can’t believe she’s falling for my story. Hey,
this girl is cuter than the one I’m with.
A: So I know what people are thinking. But why?
B (out loud now): What was that rumbling? Why did the elevator stop?
S: Don’t worry, it’s fine. I’m sure it will start to move soon enough.
Boy: The elevator has stopped. Oh, its an alkeron. Oh it’s a Futabasaurus! What
happened to the dinosaurs?
S: thinking: I’m fine. This elevator is strong. Water won’t come in. Spoken: All
right, it’s about to start moving. The staff will fix it right away. For now,
let’s look at dinosaurs.
B: thinking: What the hell is this one? Spoken: I don’t believe you about the
elevator being waterproof, Satoshi. I know it’s not likely that it will break,
but it’s possible!
S: Look out!
B: Oh my god!

The Futabasaurus fractures the glass elevator. Boy: I’m scared!
S: Thank goodness we’re ok!

Athena teleports out of the doomed elevator, and wakes up in the main structure
of the aquarium.
A: Uhh… Where am I? I guess I’m not in the elevator anymore… I have to find
someone.
Upon finding Rika’s pendant… A: This is Rika’s pendant… Rika went through here.
I’m in the aquarium! Where is she?
Upon meeting Bookmark and Satoshi: B: It’s you! You’re ok! I was worried. 
S: It
looks like we’re not the only survivors.
A: The three other elevators are still working.
S: Now we have to find something to eat before we starve.
B: That was strange, wasn’t it?
A: What was?
S: The elevator was filling with water one moment, and the next moment we were
safe! Maybe I left and I just don’t remember.
B: The elevator began glowing and I can’t remember anything after that.
B: In thoughts: There was a little boy on the elevator, all alone. I wonder if
he’s okay?
S: Do you have ESP? Of course not, what am I thinking? I don’t know what
happened to me, but I’m thankful to be alive.
S: In thoughts: My clothes are dry now.

In Mesozoic Hall C: Athena sees a guy standing near rubble. A: What’s wrong?
Are you okay? Guest H: I’m just tired and taking a rest. Don’t worry.
A: Is that so?
GH: In thoughts: What was that I saw? It looked like a clown… It was definitely
a clown. A clown was controlling a dinosaur… Now clowns can brainwash dinosaurs.
What’s going on already? I better lie down…
A: A clown?
Guest G: This is a dangerous aquarium if dinosaurs go out of control.
A: Did you see a female high school student with short hair?
GG: No, I don’t think so. Now the second hallway is covered in rubble and the
first floor is isolated. Stay on this floor, don’t go to another… it’s too
dangerous.
A: Thank you for the advice.
GG: In thoughts: How long will it take to get rid of all this rubble?
Guest A: Oh wow! Look at those guys! They’re WARM units from WAD! I never
thought I’d see them in real life!
A: Worm?
GA: You haven’t heard of them? You must not get out very much. WARM stands for
WAD Armament Riot Military. It is a special military force created by WAD
headquarters to test the latest technology and provide security for the city.
They have SDF offensive powers and can rescue people in times of disaster. When
I first saw them, I was surprised. Do you know anything about WAD?
GA: WARM is so awesome. So awesome… If I had just been here a little earlier, I
could have seen them fighting a dinosaur. Look at that! I’ve never seen a rifle
like that before! Oh! That’s a rocket launcher! I’ve only seen it in photos! I
should get out my camera!
GA: In thoughts: They’re different than I imagined.
When talking to WARM: A: Hello? WARM unit D: It’s dangerous, don’t get close!
The wall has fallen and I cannot go beyond the second hallway. A: Yes, I know.
WUD: This is impassable. I don’t know if it will fall again. It’s dangerous!
Stay away! WUD: In thoughts: There is no hurry… The aquarium is surrounded by
water. Worst case scenario, it could become submerged
WARM unit E: There is a connecting passage on the second floor above and in
front of us. We will remove the debris as soon as possible. Don’t go to the
second floor until removal is complete. Once the debris is removed, it will be
possible to navigate from the upper to lower floors. WUE: In thoughts: It’s hard
to deal with all these people.
WARM unit C: Go back to the second hallway. Girl: It hurts, it hurts! WUC: This
girl’s annoying. But I’ll put up with her… G: Mom? Where is my mama? WUD: It’s
ok. I’m looking for her.
A: I’m sure she’s looking for you. Don’t worry. 
G: I want to see my Mom! WUD:
I’ll take you to her as soon as I find her. A: Just wait a little longer. Best
of luck. I hope you find her. G: In thoughts: Mommy!
WUC: In thoughts: I have to help this child somehow. I will take her to her
mother.
Athena meets Guest C: A: How are you? GC: I got lost. This aquarium is huge. The
back of this corridor was the hallway to an elevator. The elevator is stuck with
staff and girls locked inside. A: You said you saw girls? Was there a girl with
short hair? GC: Yes, there was. Why, do you know her? Are you her friend? A:
Yes. Thank you very much. Well, know I know where she is. She’s probably on the
second floor. I better get going. GC: Well, let’s go over there. GC: In
thoughts: I keep going in circles… this place is like a maze. I’ve been down the
same hallway three times.
Guest 1: Huh, another dead end? I wonder if that security box is of any use. It
seems the door to the security box is locked. Don’t touch it. G1:In thoughts:
The only way out of here is through the second hallway.
Guest E: Today was a disaster. Are you ok? A: Yes, I’m fine. Guest D: Good. But
you should get out of here as soon as you can. The aquarium is destroyed, and
the walls don’t look very stable. Guest D: You see, we are architects. And in my
experience, a building in this condition would have collapsed by now.
GE: The lighting never worked very well in this place. The main electrical
system is probably not working right now. A: You’re probably right. GE: The
auxiliary power system is also under a lot of stress. You should get out of here
soon. Soon, the power will fail. A: Yes, I understand. 
GE: In thoughts: They
should have done a better job preparing this place in case of disaster.
WARM unit B: Can’t talk now! There’s a man trapped on the other side of this

everyone! In the name of WARM!
WARM unit A: What are you doing here? Get out. It’s not safe to be on the first
floor. A: I’m looking for my friend. She should be on this floor. WUA: If she’s
smart, you won’t have to worry about anything. A: What? WUB To WUA: Hey help me
out here! There are people trapped under the rubble! WUA: Roger that! Heading
your way. WUA: You really should get out of here as soon as possible. WUA: In
thoughts: Maybe this wasn’t an accident.
Abe, a guest in the Aquarium: I’m sorry, what should I do? A: What happened?
Abe: I have to get through this rubble, but can’t get it out of the way without
help from other people. I’m going to go to the security box to call for help. A:
What’s behind the rubble? Abe: An elevator out of here. A: An elevator? Abe:
Yes, someone may still be in it. A: I’ll go look and see. Abe: You will? I’m not
asking you to do it, but if you want to, then go ahead. Are you ok? You’re all
alone. A: Yes! Abe: In thoughts: Anyway, I can’t believe the dinosaurs all went
wild at once. What happened?

Upon entering the hall with elevators: Rika: I’m going to try and get help. A:
That voice… Rika, are you there?! Rika! I finally found you. R: Oh Athena! It’s
so good to see you!! Sorry I was late. I overslept and I missed my train. A:
It’s ok! I don’t care about that. Let’s get you out of there. R: I’m stuck in
here. The door is sealed shut.
A staff member of the aquarium is trapped in the elevator with Rika: Staff
member B: Well I’m sorry. Could you try pushing the open/close button on the
outside for a moment? The button on this side doesn’t work. Please. A: I will
try. No, it won’t do anything. Is there no other way to open it? SB: There is,
but I can’t help you from here. Maybe there is no Auxiliary power. A: Spare
power? SB: Yes. There is a staircase at the back of this room. When you reach
the top of those stairs, there is a maintenance floor. Behind one of the doors
on the floor is the power room. If you turn on the auxiliary power in the power
room, this elevator should move! Do you understand? A: Yes. I will go look for
it. SB: Please help. R: You’re just going to let Athena go there by herself? SB:
I can’t do anything! I’m trapped too! A: All right. Rika, I’ll get you out of
there as soon as I can. R: Thank you Athena.

Athena meets a man in hall D, he was the one buried in the rubble: A: Are you
ok? Oh, my clothes are all dirty. This all feels like a bad dream. A: At least
you’re alive. Guest B: You got a point there. By the way, did you see anything
unusual? A: Something weird? GB: Yes. It was probably nothing. You should leave.
A: What was weird? GB: In thoughts: A clown manipulating a dinosaur. A: Clown!
Athena talks to WARM units: Excuse me! Some people are still trapped in an
elevator. WUB: I’m sorry, wait a minute. Ok! I just received a transmission from
Captain Kaito! WUA: Yes! A crack in the outer wall? Flooded!? Ok. I will head
there immediately. WUB: Sorry, we’re busy right now. WUA: Let’s go to the second
floor and secure an escape route. It seems that Captain Kaito is taking control
of matters here. WUB: All right. Let’s go! A: Will this place flood soon? I have
no time to worry about that… When I turn on the spare power, I have to open the
elevator.
If you talk to WUA again: Don’t panic. It’s not going to flood immediately WUB:
Move to the second floor to prepare an escape route. I do not need to worry
about anything. We are there to save people WUB: In thoughts: It’s very
stressful being the first team responding to such a situation as this.
Back in hallway C, Athena meets Guest C again. He got lost again: A: What
happened? I got lost again. This place is so big. A: I know a way out of here.
Go to the second escape route. GC: Ok. Thank you very much. GC: In thoughts:
Even though I’m in a dangerous situation, I’m stunned by how magnificent those
creatures were. I’m fortunate to have been able to see the dino aquarium before
it got ruined. 
Abe is near the security box, where he said he would be.
A: Hey. Abe: I’m sorry, but I’m busy right now. It won’t open. Who is the person
in charge of this security box? WHO? Abe: In thoughts: Damn it. I should have
asked someone before the disaster how to open this thing. Wait a second. This
thing’s connected to a terminal on the first floor. If only someone could reach
the terminal.
WARM unit C: What are you doing here? I’m going to the upper floor now. Guest A:
What? Me? I’m just watching you guys. Do you use firearms or something? WUC:
Don’t ask stupid questions. Let’s get out of here. GA: In thoughts: That
irresistible atmosphere unique to the army. I signed up for WARM and they
accepted me!
Talking to WARM unit E in front of terminal: If only I could get this thing to
work. Hey, you shouldn’t be here! Evacuate now! It’s not safe here! Please leave
now! WUE: In thoughts: If you activate the terminal, the security box can be
opened.
Staff A: I’m going up a floor. I don’t want to be here when this place goes
underwater.
Athena meets Guest H: A: Are you alone? GH: Yes, but I’m fine thank you. Since
the rubble blocking the second hallway has been removed, I can get out of here.
Just follow the instructions of the rescue team, and you will be fine. GH: In
thoughts: I saw it again. A clown. I know it’s not a hallucination.
When talking to WUD: A: Excuse me… WUD: You can leave now. The rubble has been
removed blocking the second hallway. Go there now! Unless you want to drown.

Athena meets Kensou again: A: Oh. Is that you Kensou? K: Athena!! It’s great to
see you! A: Are you ok? K: I got hurt in the aquarium disaster. Anyways, earlier
this morning I walked all over Amagasaki and I’m going back sometime soon. A:
Wow, that’s cool. K: I’m glad you think so. I hope we can go there sometime
Athena. It’s crazy we both happened to go to the aquarium. It’s like fate
brought us together. Two people out of billions! I didn’t mean to say that. I
told you everything! Well, it was nice to see you again! A: Yeah, I’ve got to
get going. I’m in a hurry. K: I’ll go with you! A: No that’s fine. You shouldn’t
put yourself in danger. Be patient Kensou. K: In thoughts: I’m amazed by how
heroic Athena seems. I just wished I didn’t embarrass myself so much in front of
her. I will try my best to look good.
Athena enters Room 2-C and talks to Staff C: A: Excuse me, my friend is injured.
SC: Where are they? A: In the second hallway. Ok. I’ll go and help him. You
should get out of here too. A: I’m glad you can help. Most everyone I’ve talked
to has been busy. I must remember to go to the staff floor and turn on the
power. My friend Rika is still in danger. SC: I’ll go help your friend. SC: In
thoughts: Before today, the dinosaurs never did anything dangerous. I can’t
believe they would act so violent.
A: The door to the staff floor is locked. SC: Oh, the power is down. You’re
locked out. In order to turn on the original auxiliary power, you must reach the
power panel and turn it on. I definitely remember it being installed near the
dinosaur model exhibited in Room 2-D. A: Is that so? Thank you very much.
Staff H: I should protect the WARM units. Staff G: Is the dinosaur that ran away
ok?
SH: Yes, the dinosaur has been trapped in the hall. It can only survive within
its enclosure. SH: In thoughts: Why did they make dinosaurs? They’ve been dead
for millions of years, they were brought back to life, and now they’re dying
again. 
SG: What are we going to do with this place after its all cleaned up? I
better contact WAD’s intelligence and public relations departments. 
Athena goes
to room 2-D and sees Guest G: A: Are you hurt? GG: Oh I’m fine, I’m about to get
out of here. How are you? A: I’m fine. GG: You know there’s a power panel right
around the corner. A: Yes, I heard from someone else about it. GG: In thoughts:
Is this girl going to leave soon?
Guest D: I think some dinosaurs are still alive. Guest E: Is this place on spare
power? If that is the case, every door to an enclosure has been electronically
locked. GD: I don’t want to leave until the dinosaurs have left. I will stay
here until then.
GD: In thoughts: I’m anxious about this place flooding…
GD: The doors are all electronically locked because of the switch in power
supply. The only way out of here is to wait for WARM’s work to finish. GE: In
thoughts: Can this place handle all that water.
Athena meets the little girl again. A: How are you? G: Great! I found my mommy.
Girl’s Mom: A member of WARM found her. G: That guy helped me find my mom. A:
That’s so nice. You should probably leave here. This may start flooding soon.
Mother: Thank you for telling us!
Girl: In thoughts: I will never leave my mom’s side.
Mother: In thoughts: I will hold your hand as tight as I can until I can get you
out of here.

Talking to the man again in 2-C: A: Um… Do you know the password to open the
door of the staff hallway? SC: Password? I think they changed it last week, but
I’m not sure. Someone in room 2-B probably knows what it is. A: Is that so!!

In room 2-B: Athena talks again with Staff 1: You’re still here? WARM has said
this place will likely flood soon. Moreover, there seems to be no way out from
the second floor exit.
A: That’s what I saw. S1: Well, I’m leaving now. S1: In thoughts: I hope I can
make it in time. This building is toast once it starts flooding.
Athena talks to the guy who knows the password: Hey, do you know the password to
staff only passage? Staff D: Password? You mean the one that was changed last
week? A: That’s probably the one. SD: Uhh… I can’t tell the password to
customers. I’m sorry.
SD: In thoughts: I know the password is 10540102. But I can’t tell just anyone.
I’d get fired. Why did she want to know the password to that place anyways? A:
In thoughts: 10540102. I’ll write it down. 
Athena talks to SC yet again: A:
Where is the card key for the staff only door? SC: The card key should be in a
vault in Room 2A. The person in charge is Staff Member E in Room 2A; they should
know how to open the locker.
WARM unit 1: Danger! Run! The wall will soon break!
WU1: In thoughts: I’d like to kill whoever was responsible for building these
shitty walls.
Captain Kaito: Yes, all units, gather on the second floor. Before flooding
starts, we will make an escape route. Hurry up!! (To Athena) Go down a floor,
and you’ll be out of here. A: Yes sir.
CK: In thoughts: There are so many newcomers who have so little experience. It
will take more than newcomers for this place to survive.
WARM unit F: A: Do you know where I can find the staff floor? WUF: Staff floor?
Don’t go there. We will be leaving here. Just wait a little longer. Ok?
WUF: In thoughts: If we don’t hurry, everyone will enter into a panic when it
starts flooding!
WUG: Please go to a lower floor. It’s too dangerous up here! WUG: In thoughts:
As expected, everyone’s in harm’s way. And it’s up to WARM to save the day.

In room 2-A, Athena talks to a female staff member: A: Um… where is the card
key for the staff room door? Staff E: You say you need the card key for the
staff room? That is certainly a strange request. I thought it was in the vault

Aquarium.

walking awkwardly. K: I take my injuries as symbols of honor. No matter how

One of my powers is a heightened sense of perception and hearing. I never miss a
thing. I’ve been waiting for the right time to meet you. A: Masato-kun! Oh,
Masato-kun. Where did you go?

Upon reaching the front car: A: The door is open. No one is conducting the
train. How can this be? The door won’t open. Hey! Clown: Ha ha. A: You did this

Clown: I’m only following the commands of my lord, Tantalus.
A: Tantalus? C: Yes, Tantalus! And I’m codenamed Astrios. Best regards, Athena.
A; Tantalus, Astrios… I’ve never heard these names before. Why do you do this to
me? The subway has started to move.  What are you going to do next? Stop it!! C:
Sorry Athena, I can’t help it… Let’s play with your best friend first. Ha ha ha…
A: Best friend? That would be Rika. Rika is in danger! Rika!

Clown appears further back on the train: C: Your abilities are strong, but still
growing. Let’s see if you can pass this next test. What do you do think? Ha ha
ha ha…
A: Igarishi… Kensou.. What have you done to them!? Snap out of it! K: Uh! C:
Show me your power! Upon reaching Kensou, who’s unconscious: A: Kensou! Kensou!
It’s no good. He’s under the clown’s control.  C: Was that too easy? Well then,
let the second round begin!
If you’re hit: Ow! Stop it Igarishi!
C: In this world, friends aren’t worth it. They only hold you back. I’m stronger
without friends! And so will you be! After the cutscenes: C: There’s a sharp
turn ahead. If you don’t stop the train soon, you’re dead! But I’ve blocked your
path to the conductor’s car. What are you going to do Athena? Oh no! Ha ha ha ha
ha!! A: It will derail if it goes through the turn at this speed! I have to stop
the train!!

Monitor on train: Emergency situation, level 4. The emergency braking devices
should be activated on each car to stop the train. A: The emergency panel in the
fourth car is broken. Is it completely broken? Monitor: Emergency braking system
activated. Vehicle slowing down. A: I did it! I actually stopped it somehow. I
did good.
Train starts moving again: A: What’s going on!? C: Thank you for the
entertainment, Athena. But it’s not over yet. Now it really gets exciting. Just
now, the train has just started moving again, and there’s no conductor. What
shall you do now? A: There’s no end to this… C: Athena, it’s about to crash! A
glorious catastrophe! Ahhahahaha! It’s going to be great. Are you excited? A:

more stations to pass by until the end of the line. To prevent your impending
doom, go to the conductor’s car and turn off the engine. This is a game, Athena.
And you play by my rules. What will your next move be? If you die in this

Monitor: Emergency has occurred. Insert a pass code into the lower left control
panel due to the drive control failure and then disconnect. The first car has
been disconnected. Workers should move to the rear of the train promptly.

Disc 2, Chapter 4: Athena awakens in a dream world. Voice: A… T… H… E… N… A…
A: Where am I? I could have sworn I was just on the subway. Where am I? What is
this place?  Athena is a ghost revisiting the events that led to her creation.
She looks at a monitor, and it reads: Conditions: 100%
Takaoki, a scientist: It can’t be! The process appears to have been successful!
Researcher: A success? Director Takaoki, did you complete the synthesis of your
organism? T: Yeah, take a look. R: I cannot believe it… it was completely
restored. T: That should do it. I was able to repair the defective part of the
DNA collected from the body. I didn’t think it would be so quick to restore the
original organism. A: What’s going on? It’s like I’m watching a replay of a
movie scene…
When you talk to one of the researchers: T: Now you can get back to that
research that you were stuck on. Well, I will submit a report of this research
to Tantalus. R: Ok. T: Soon after submitting the report, we should create
prototypes of the AE series specimens. AE-X04; codenamed “Astrios” and AE-Sb10;
codenamed “Pelops”. Based on the data we currently have, I will begin the
process of making each DNA base sequence. What happened? There is no time to
waste. R: I’m not sure… T: Of course you don’t know. What do you think you have
been doing this research for? R: Give me a minute… This process is a lot harder
than just making dinosaurs. We’re creating a real living, breathing human being
for crying out loud! Stupid neurocomputer! Damn it! This is too much for me to
handle!
When you talk to the researcher, Takaoki says: If you don’t want to go through
with this, you can just walk away. A man sneaks up in a black suit aiming a gun
at the researchers: T: This isn’t just DNA. This something else entirely. If
only I knew what it was. We have the ability to bring life back from the past.
To create a superhuman with unique abilities. We’re going to bring back a
superman from ancient times.  And Tantalus wants his appearance modeled after
that person. R: You want to give Tantalus a human form. Why do you need to do
that!? Director Takaoki, you created Tantalus. You own it. You shouldn’t just do
whatever it wants. Wake up! Tantalus is just a program! A synthetic recreation
of an ancient superhuman.
The researcher is shot dead by the man. A: Oh my god!
T: Go to the first laboratory and call someone. Tell them there is an addition
to the AE series.
When looking at the dead researcher: A: He’s dead…
A voice: This project was a failure. “Astraios” and “Pelops” were flawed. A
person with perfect abilities could not be made. A: It’s you… Masato-kun. M:
Masato is a temporary name I chose. My real name is Pelops. A: You are Pelops.
What is this vision I am seeing, then? M: I’m showing you a picture of you in
your consciousness. It is one of the few abilities I still have. A: Where are we
looking at right now? WAD Institute, E.A.R.F.  WAD is a bioengineering
institute. It is the facility where all the research on the AE series was
conducted. This event happened eight years ago, back in 2010. The woman who was
the brainchild of the project still believes it could be done right, even though
it ended in failure back then. Resurrecting that clown was the worst mistake
they ever made. I had to make a break for it, escape my lifelong imprisonment in
the facility. Tantalus couldn’t stop me. No one could. I’m still thankful for
the body they gave me. A: Tantalus? M: Code name AL-X00ES “Tantalus”. After the
cutscene. M: The woman you saw, Kiyono Takaoki, was obsessed with Tantalus and
continued to improve its design. She wanted to make Tantalus a perfect life
form. Tantalus needed a body. It was my DNA and therefore my body they chose to
host Tantalus. But they didn’t go through with it because they knew I was
flawed, after I was created. When Takaoki noticed her mistake, it was already
too late. Tantalus would not allow her betrayal. When they found out I was
flawed, I was permanently confined to an unknown place. A: Masato-kun, wait a
minute. I have nothing to do with this place! I am just an ordinary high school
student, an ordinary human! M: I know you think you’re ordinary, but you’re not.
The headmaster of your school, Sannomiya, has always suspected you had powers.
He wants to hand you over to Tantalus. A: Mr. Sannomiya? But why? M: Because
Tantalus found out about you through Astrios’ surveillance. You have the
potential to gain powers of an immense capacity, and control everything on this
planet. A: When I met you before, you said I had psychic powers. M: Your ability
is now just reaching its full potential. That’s why Tantalus needs you: as a
power source, a conduit. A: Masato-kun, are you all right? M: I am the same as
the dinosaur. My very existence is for scientific purposes. It’s a limited life.
Soon, I will run out of energy, my powers will fade, and I will die. I’m
synthetic. But you Athena, you are different. You are naturally born. And your
powers will continue to grow.
Masato short circuits: A: Masato-kun! Masato-kun!!

Disc 3, Chapter 5: After the previous cutscenes, Athena is back at school. A:
Rika’s pendant… I have to return it to her… I have to go talk with her, as soon
as I can. Rika, where are you? If you go to the male bathroom: Bunroku: Hi
Asamiya-kun. Long time no see. I’m Bunroku Tatsumokoji. Did you know that the
candy store I buy cherry blossom rice cakes from has been around 28 generations?
I hope you’ve been eating them. Now, let me give you some special information.
Listen. You don’t have the power to control human destiny and the future. It
doesn’t change for anyone. And what happens in the future cannot be predicted by
me, you or anyone. However, I can tell you that a camera will be of importance
to you later in chapter 5. Your fate may change someday. Do you understand? A:
Yes? B: It’s ok if you don’t. Well then, return to the story. Oh yes, don’t
forget to eat your cherry blossom rice cakes if you’re feeling down. If you try
to read Bunroku’s mind: Ha ha ha. Athena, you can’t read my mind. I’m resistant
to telepathy. A: What!?
In the hallway, Athena sees Igarishi: A: Igarishi: I: Hey Athena. If you get
into any trouble, I will actually defend you, unlike “Athena’s Knight”. A: Stop
picking on Kensou. It’s not right. Kensou is a good guy, and he doesn’t deserve
your crap. Anyways, have you seen Rika? I: Rika? I’ve been in this hallway for a
while, and I haven’t seen her. I think she went somewhere else in the school. A:
Where in the school, if you don’t mind? The conversation ends. If you talk
again. I: No really, I haven’t seen her. I wonder where the “god of the gods”
went? (A sarcastic jab at Kensou) In thoughts: Well, what should I do? Should I
leave Kensou behind, or go find him?
In classroom 1-C: Chinshu Winter: Hi… my name is Chinshu Winter. I came to this
school as an exchange student like Shii Takashi. You’re Asamiya, Kensou’s
girlfriend? A: No, we’re not dating. CW: In my class, we’re reading the story of
Zhenzhen Fuyujin all the way through, and boy is it long. But I’m sure you’d
have no trouble finishing it. It’s just too hard for me! Look at it! A: No
thanks? CW: Your knight’s in room 3-B. You seem like you’d make a great couple!
So, go get him Swan! A: Oh… Have you seen Rika, by any chance? CW: No, I haven’t
seen Rika. Behold! This beautiful pose!

SGF: Rika? Well…  I was just walking through the hallway, and I saw her, but I
didn’t see where she went. A: I wonder if she went into classroom 1-A.? SGF:
Come on, I don’t know. A: Thanks anyway. SGF: I’m absolutely sure I saw Rika
when I was walking through the hall. Bye bye Athena. In thoughts: Rika and
Athena were both acting strange today. I wonder if they had a fight.
In room 1-A: A: Rika! If you look at Rika’s locker: It looks messy. Somethings
not right.
Athena meets Schoolgirl A: Hey there. Did you happen to see Rika? SGA: Rika?
I’ve been in this classroom a while, and I did see her. She had to go to the
second floor to talk to someone in the freshman class. A: Second floor. Thank
you! SGA: Wait a minute, Athena! A: What? SGA: Rika looked really out of it
today. Maybe she’s still in shock after being in that train accident. I hope you
can make her feel better. Tell me how she’s doing after you’ve talked with her.
A: Yup! SGA: Rika seems lethargic and was in a bad mood today.  In thoughts:
SGA: Athena isn’t doing anything.
Yukari, a female student: Oh my god. I just remembered; I promised Hiro-kun I
would go home to see him after school A: Yukari! Y: Oh, Athena! Yesterday was
terrible. Are you okay? A: Yes, I’m fine. I wasn’t hurt in the accident. Y:
That’s good to hear. A: Thank you for your concern. Have you seen Rika? Y: Rika!
Uhhhh… A little while ago! She was in room 1-A. A: Really!? Thank you, Yukari!

Athena walks up to the second floor of the school. On the second floor balcony,

No, I’m looking for Rika too. HT: I should have told you to come to the nurses
office this morning. Rika was there. But then she suddenly just left. I wonder
how’s she’s doing now. If you see Kashiwazaki-san, tell her to come to the
nurse’s office. A: Yes. HT: Are you okay? Are you still in pain? In thoughts:
Hmm… A lot of terrible incidents have happened recently.

Schoolgirl B: A: Have you seen Rika Kashiwazaki? SB: Rika Kashiwazaki? (Talking
to Schoolgirl C) Hey, do you know if Yoko is going to show up? SC: I don’t know.

she get injured in a subway accident? A: Yes, she did. SBE: I always thought
Rika was a little strange. But in a cute kind of way. Yo, introduce me to her if
you get the chance. I bet she doesn’t have a boyfriend. A: Have you seen her?
SBE: She walked into my classroom, but said she had to go to the third floor. A:
Is that so? Thank you very much. SBE: In thoughts: Her cocky attitude and short
hair, it turns me on. I wonder if I’ll get another chance to meet her.

Once Athena walks out of room, she sees an unnamed teacher: Teacher: A: Hello</pre><pre id="faqspan-2">
Sir. Teacher: Oh, you are Asamiya-kun. I saw you in room 1-A earlier today. How
are you? A: Have you seen Rika Kashiwazaki? If that’s the student who was
injured in the train accident yesterday, then she went to the third floor. A: Is
that so? Thank you very much. Teacher: You should go home soon. Don’t stress
yourself out for much longer. In thoughts: If they have the budget to put an
electronic lock in each classroom, I want them to increase teacher’s salaries. I
don’t think it’s a useful security measure because it could trap students in
classrooms.
Athena sees Hiro in the hallway: Hey: H: Hey Asamiya-san A: Have you seen Rika?
H: She went into classroom 3-C a while ago. A: Thank you so much. H: Well then,
see you later… but not today. A: Why say that? H: Ah, it’s nothing. Well then.
I’ve been waiting a long time for someone, and I’m starting to get mad. In
thoughts: My gut tells me something bad is going to happen at this school. 
If
you go back to classroom 3-C: SBE: I saw Rika again! A: Did Rika come to this
classroom again? SGE: Yes, she came to class again. I was able to meet her
again… It feels like fate is bringing us together! I know she and I have a
connection! Oh, Rika-chan!! A: Why is everyone so weird at this school. It’s

Athena reaches the third floor of the building. There she meets a teacher. A: Hi

Rika… surely, you know I’m just a science teacher, not a detective. A: No. Her
name is Rika Kashiwazaki. ST: I was just joking. A: Well, it’s not funny. ST:
Hey… well, if it’s Kashiwazaki, I’ve heard rumors about that girl. A: There’s
rumors going around about Rika? ST: Yup, go to each classroom on this floor and
ask people. A: Each classroom on this floor? Thanks. ST: Ask people on the third
floor. She seemed very serious when I saw her. Isn’t that interesting. In

Athena heads to the girl’s bathroom. There, she happens upon Schoolgirl E
again. SGE: It’s a little too late to go to the rooftop now. A: Hey, did you see
Rika? SGE: Oh Athena, I didn’t see Rika. I just walked into the bathroom a
minute ago. A: Really! Did you? SGE: Yup. But I’m going home now. I got to get
out of here soon. A: I guess I’ll leave soon too. SGE: Good idea. You should
leave now. A: I will. SGE: Aren’t you going home soon, Athena? I’m going home
now. I hope he’s okay. (She’s referring to the guy who went to the roof looking
for a stair down and out of the school.) In thoughts: What should I say, I
didn’t mean to be a bad person. It’s an awkward situation.

Schoolboy F: Geez, I’m still waiting! I said I would wait for her, but I’m
getting so tired of standing here. A: Excuse me… SBF: Oh Athena, are you still
looking for Rika? A: Yes… SBF: If you want to see her, why not wait by the front
entrance of the school? She’ll have to leave eventually. A: Sure, I’ll do that!
Thanks for the advice! SBFF: She still isn’t here…. SBF: In thoughts: I really
need to use the bathroom.

Athena finally makes it to the roof of the school. She meets a Gym Teacher.
PE Teacher: What are you doing up here!? You should be heading home! The rooftop
is off limits. Who left the door unlocked? Go home already! In thoughts: That’s
strange. The door must have been left unlocked.

Athena walks back down to the front entrance, where she finally meets her friend
Rika. But before the front exit, there is the science teacher. A: Hey, Mr.
Science Teacher! ST: Hello again. If you see Rika tomorrow, I want you to tell
her something. A: What is it? ST: It’s about the disk she lost. Take over class
tomorrow. The blue disk was lost by Kashiwazaki-kun. The red disk is somewhere
in room 3-D, and the yellow disk is somewhere in the second science room. Find
these three things, and give them to the students in classroom 3-D. Got all
that? A: I understand. I’ll tell Rika. ST: Thanks. Now I think you should go
home as soon as possible. A: I will. Goodbye Mr. Science Teacher. ST: You don’t
have to emphasize science every time you say my name. In thoughts: It’s very
inconvenient that there isn’t a spare start up disk.

Athena enters the first level courtyard: A: Oh, Rika!! I finally found you!!
Rika!! R: Athena? A: Rika… I found your pendant. I’ve wanted to give it back to
you for a while now. R: Thank you, Athena. A: Rika, so so so (Athena stutters
because she’s nervous) A: Excuse me for sounding awkward. I wanted to talk with
you. (Rika’s friend taps on her shoulder, distracting her.) Schoolgirl H: Rika!
What are you doing!? Let’s go!! R: Athena… sorry. (Rika walks away with her new
“friend”, leaving behind a distraught Athena)

Athena goes back to the rooftop to cry alone, when all of a sudden, she senses
the presence of the evil clown Astrios. Then, a bomb explodes, ripping through
the three levels of the school building.
Mr. Sannomiya: What the hell!! You haven’t given any attack instructions yet!
Captain Kaito: That wasn’t our unit attacking. Everyone in my unit is with me,
right now, as I’m talking to you. S: So what caused the explosion just now? It
can’t be… Astrios! That idiot! Immediately evacuate any remaining students from
the school building! Get off your asses and get in there! CK: Roger that. All
members are on the move!!

Astrios appears: A: It’s you again! You caused that explosion!? C: Well… A:
Stop… Why do you have to keep hurting people!! C: Ha ha ha, Tantalus is waiting
for you. He’s now been completed. A: I don’t care about Tantalus! C: You
shouldn’t say that. Tantalus doesn’t like to be kept waiting. Athena, I hope you
enjoyed the fireworks show. I have a present for you. A: Present? C: I spent a
long time thinking up the perfect gift for you. Please take it. I think you’ll
love it. That bomb that blew up. I set up an even more powerful bomb somewhere
in the school. A: How could you do this! C: I placed the bomb in the first
science room. Can you defuse it in time Athena? Try your best… Ha ha ha. Oh,
it’s dangerous. If you’re too slow, you’ll go boom! But you’ll defuse the bomb

operating a terminal in the second science room next door. However, you need a

If you don’t hurry, all that’s going to be left of you is your charred remains,

you can disarm the bomb, Athena. But booting it requires a disk. Where is the

Athena uses her psychic power to see where the blue boot disk is located: A:
This is classroom 1-A? In Rika’s locker! Maybe that’s where the disc is…
Athena finds two “useful” items in the girl’s bathroom: A: It’s a detergent. I
have a feeling this will come in handy. It’s another detergent. It may be
useful.

If you remain idle, Astrios the clown says in your head: C: Please, take your
time. I see an explosion! Ha ha ha ha!

Athena opens Rika’s locker in classroom 1-A: There it is! The blue disk! Rika
left behind her textbooks. I will get them to her later.
When you insert the blue disk: Computer: System OK. Starting up. The system is
operating normally. Enter the bomb release code. C: Do you want a hint? Should
you add an acidic liquid or a basic liquid to neutralize lime water? Chlorine
and acid, X and Z are the keys. Oops, I told you too much. Hya ha ha ha! 
A: Ok…
C: Oops. You just activated the bomb. The timing device has started moving!! The
two actual release switches are on two separate computers somewhere else in the
school. Solve each puzzle to stop the countdown. If you can’t figure them out in
time, you know what happens!! Hyahaha! A: Two more computers… I better start
running! In classroom 3-D, you find the red disk: A: Oh my… there’s the red disk

In the computer in 1-A, the directions read: Look at the rotating colored cube
and choose the correct missing colors for the correct places on the cube.
After completing the first puzzle: A: Huh… C: I’m amazed Athena! There is only
one release code left! No more time to talk. Ha ha ha! A: One more puzzle
Athena… I need to hurry…
The second computer says: The detonator will be deactivated when you solve 3
questions. Problem: Enter the correct stroke order for the next kanji.
After completing the puzzle: Computer: Timed device release code received. Timed
device has been released. C: You did superb. It’s a big deal. You’ll see soon
what you get as a reward. Go to the roof. Interesting things are waiting! Ha ha
ha! Hya ha ha ha!!

Once you leave the classroom: Mr. Sannomiya: The students have been evacuated.
Do you know where she is?
Captain Kaito: No movement has been detected. It is quiet.
S: Keep your eyes peeled. Keep monitoring the situation.

On the rooftop again, Athena meets the clown Astrios: Ha ha ha! I’m sure it
feels good having done all that hard work, Athena. Actually, there is another
bomb. Your work is not over yet. A: What!? C: Don’t look like that. This is all
to bring out your potential. Think about it. Why do you think you were released
from a hospital affiliated with WAD without incident? I know Pelops has been
meeting with you. Why do you think he wants to meet you? He just wants to see
you develop your powers to their fullest potential. That’s what my purpose is
too. Don’t forget, you still have one more bomb to deactivate. And guess what…
the last bomb is me!!

Just standing there isn’t going to do anything. Fight more seriously, Athena. I
can teach you an attack that will send me flying, if you’re interested? Yes!
That’s it! Nice one Athena! Enjoy it as much as you want! Show me your power!
Great Athena. But it’s going to take more than that to defeat me!

enough power to defeat Astrios! WUD: Capture her. However, if she begins using
her abilities, shoot immediately! You have permission to shoot. A: They’re going
to shoot me if I use my abilities!?

Athena walks out of the bathroom, and into the hallway, where there are a group
of WARM units: I’ve spotted a target! Commence attack!
A: The music room. The music room is open. I wonder if I can stay hidden here.
After killing the WARM unit and running out into the hallway, Athena spots
another hiding place: A: It’s a home economics room. I’ll hide in here.
A: Looks like I have you to defeat… Now! I should attack it now! I’ll attack as
I hide behind this rubble.

First hit: Wow! Moving to the side allows me to avoid its attacks…

After cutscene: Rika: Athena… I’m sorry… I have to meet her and talk to her.
What? Athena is missing? Athena…
Athena examines the destroyed robot sent to kill her:
A: That’s good. It looks like it’s broken.
After cutscene: A: I’m hurt… please, somebody help…

A: No, run away!! K: You idiots! Can a man run away at such a time as this? Why,
it’s Athena’s Knight!!
Kensou picks up Athena, carrying her in his arms: K: Up we go, now let’s go!!
He throws her down a vent to safety.
K:  It’s time to show the power of the fist!! The deadly Ryugakusai, springs
into action!! Well, wait a minute… Well then, I must be going now. Goodbye!!

Disc 3, Chapter 6:
Athena wakes up imprisoned in the WAD facility. A: Rika! Rika!! Rika. Rika!
A voice says: Athena! Control yourself!
Masato appears: M: Code number AE-Sb10. Code named: “Pelops”.
A: Masato-kun. What is this place? M: Don’t you remember seeing it in your
visions? WAD Underground Research Facility, E.A.R.F. It has been closed for a
while. No one works here anymore. A: How did I get here? M: The rage you felt at
seeing your friend Rika getting killed teleported you here unconsciously. It was
the feelings you had for Rika that saved you.
A: Rika? What happened to Rika? Why did they attack her? She doesn’t have
powers?! Rika had nothing to do with my situation.
If you look at the door in your cell: Keep out… Looks like this door hasn’t been
used for a long time. If you look at the locker: The locker here will open but I
need the key.
M: Tantalus can be found at the deepest part of this E.A.R.F. A: Tantalus… A
neurocomputer program that controls all of WAD. M: Yes, the ruler of this city
and your real enemy. A: My real enemy? M: That’s right. You have to defeat
Tantalus.
A: I must defeat Tantalus!? Why!? M: Only you can do it. Yes, no else has the
power to defeat it, except for you… A: Ok… M: Seikasu Gakuen students and all
the people who live in this city will continue to live under the control of the
mighty Tantalus. As long as it exists, the oppression will never end, nothing
will ever change. Someday there will be another victim of their careless
violence like Rika Kashiwazaki. Someone has to stop them. A: But… M: It’s easy
to escape this facility. But you can’t escape Tantalus because it controls
everything you did in your daily life. And the number of victims like Rika
Kashiwazaki will continue to grow. Think about it. You were born naturally
gifted with powers. Don’t you think there is a divine reason for this? A: Rika…
Yes, I finally understand. I can escape this facility but never the control
exerted by Tantalus… I can’t believe it! 

When you look at the door in front of you: This door can be unlocked with a key
card. It opened!

Athena spots Kensou in the facility. A: Kensou! K: Is someone there? Oh, Athena!
What are you doing here? A: I was going to ask you the same question. Why are
you here Kensou? K: I was in the courtyard of the school, when I saw you start
glowing after they were shooting at you. I jumped into the glow to try and push
you out of the way of the gunfire. Then all of a sudden, I appeared in this
place. A: Wow. I’m amazed you did that. Didn’t you think you were going to get
shot? K: What? Was it wrong what I did? I’m your Knight Athena!! No matter where
you are, I will try to protect you. A: Thank you Kensou. I’m grateful for your
protection. But you should run away from here. K: If I run away, I know you
won’t. A: I… I have to get moving. K: If you do so, I will accompany you. I’m
not going to let you go on your own. I will do all in my power to protect you
Athena. A: Kensou… Thank you… K: Here. Take this. And this.

K: Hey Athena. Are you feeling anxious? Don’t worry, this Knight has a fist
that can stop anything. This past couple of days have felt like living in a
movie. I bet this lab will probably explode in the end. What? K: Hey Athena,
want to know something about me? I’m a Libra Sun, Sagittarius Moon. This week,
Libra is said to be very lucky. Eh, forget it. 
In thoughts: So it’s just me,
and Athena. Two people alone. This place is not romantic at all though. It’s
very creepy.

K: This computer is sleeping; do you think you it’s connected to WAD servers? It
looks like there’s a note on the desk it’s on. In thoughts: I don’t know what
the guys in WAD were thinking. 
When you look at the computer: A: What is this?
Monitor: Athena Asamiya. Student at Seikasu Gakuen High School. Freshman.

sequences to those of ancient humans who had powers.

screen.

dispatched to Seikasu Gakuen High School, acting as a history teacher. Be on the
lookout for these two individuals. Mission: Monitoring and reporting until
awakening, capture after awakening.
A: Sensei Sannomiya: He was working for WAD. 
K: Something always felt off about
him. I never liked him. Now I know why.
If you click a fourth time: K: There seems to be no more data.
K: I wonder how many WAD units there are out there, doing the exact same thing
they’re doing here? In thoughts: But is there anything related to this?
In the hallway: K: After reading all that data, I’m shocked. I don’t understand
everything yet, but I was right when I said our fates are intertwined! I’m glad
that computer showed your weight, height and blood type, as I was always curious
myself…. Ah! I’m kidding. I’m just joking. If the system had Igarishi’s data, it
would be interesting. It would be our secret between the two of us. In thoughts:
You can do it, Kensou! You’ve waited for this moment all your life!
After you walk into the second room, Kensou walks to the right and says: It’s so
dark in this room; I can’t see very well. A: Yup…
K: What did you think of my data? A: I don’t know…
K: I feel uncomfortable standing in the dark like this.
In thoughts: I’m not sure, but I think Athena and I have fates that are
intertwined?
In mini-cutscene: K: I think this door’s unlocked. I’ll see you in a moment.
Athena, wait here. A: Kensou? Don’t go in there; it looks dangerous. K: What are
you saying. I’m your knight! Yes, wait here. I’ll be back soon. A: Kensou,
Kensou! Oh!? What’s in there? It’s dark! I can’t see anything! Kensou are you
alright!? Kensou! It’s so dark in there. I’m worried for him. We’ve been
separated, and he’s in the dark! I’m all alone and I’m scared. Don’t say that.
If you try to open the door: K: Are you going to open the door? Athena, can you
hear me?! I’m lonely, but I’m ok. I’ll figure a way out of here somehow. Athena,
please be careful. Farewell for now! A: I heard you Kensou! K: There is a duct
that I can escape out of. A: What did you say? Kensou! Kensou! A: It looks like
I’m on my own again.

If you use your powers to see into the room: The MO disk should work with that
terminal.
Once you use the card key to enter the room with the specimens, there is a
warning sign. A: It reads “You can’t go to the next room without entering the
three codes and using the key. 
You see a red button: A: This is a spare power
supply? What is it connected to? It turned on something! The standby power seems
to be working…
A: There’s a hole to lock it in.
If you look at the tanks with “specimens”: A: It looks like somethings in there.
I can’t make out what it is.
The door with the passcode reads: Please enter the password.
The Terminal in the other room reads: MO data can be written here. After you use
the MO disk: Rewritten data for opening/closing decompression chamber.
After copying the MO data to PC1, Athena heads to the locked door and uses the
MO disk again. A: This may open the door… Announcement: CDVE unlocked to
decompression chamber. Entry is possible. For security purposes, the door will
automatically lock in 60 seconds. Be careful. 
PC2 reads: Rewritten data for
cold sleep room opening and closing.
If you try to open the door in the red room without the MO disk: A: No… I can’t
open it without putting the MO disk in the slot. Hooray! It opened!
In house announcement: The cold sleep room has been locked again for security.
If you look at the monitor: A: Nothing there.
If you look at the cryo chamber: A: I’ve seen this in the news before. WAD’s
cold sleep system.
A: Are you okay? Takaoki, the female scientist who created Astrios, Pelops and
Tantalus is sitting in the chamber. T: Yes. My body has been kept at extremely
low temperatures, keeping me alive. A: You are Kyono Takaoki… creator of that
clown and Masato…. And the person who made Tantalus… T: Yes, I am the creator of
Tantalus. You’ve got the right person. From early primitive life based on the
ancient body, it has evolved over thousands of years. A program that has
acquired an ego and an instinct for self-defense. It even has a desire to
conquer others. A presence with multiple consciousnesses, egos, and the will of
those who lived in ancient times. It is the 156th generation neuro computer

K: But the experiment was not successful… In an artificially created person… It
can only be used on a few biological parts. It was myself who proved that. Soon
I realized my mistake. It was impossible to create life synthetically that could
be anything close to human. But when I realized that and tried to stop Tantalus…

Athena looks into the third monitor, and sees an event from the past replayed
before her eyes: Blonde man: Dr. Takaoki. Your desires to stop the experiment
have been detected by Tantalus. It wants you put asleep. K: How could it do this
to me! I created it. Tantalus has no remorse. It wants me out of the way, even
though I’m its mother.
BM: I will relay your words to Tantalus. Those that interfere with Tantalus’
studies will be removed. You did this before, and now Tantalus has had it with
you. T: So that’s how its gonna be… Would you give this message to your boss:
fuck you.
A: Did that really happen? K: The sad ending of the WAD laboratory director. I’m
now self-employed. It’s unfortunate you had to get involved in this situation.
I’m very sorry. A: It’s okay, Dr. T: You seem like a nice person.
A: What’s going on! K: Tantalus has noticed your presence in this room. Get out
of here! Now!
In house announcement: Abnormality detected in amniotic liquid concentration in
cold sleep. Adjust the valve immediately to return to standard concentrations.

K: I don’t know much, Athena, but I knew that you were special from the day I
met you and I’m so very thankful to have helped you in your great work. I wasn’t
a very happy guy until I met you. Since I’ve known you, I’ve grown into
something much greater than I was. I really am your knight Athena. And with that
last battle, I proved it to myself.
Sensei Sannomiya appears:

top position at WAD is no more. Because of your actions, the chain of command
has collapsed. K: You’re to blame for this whole catastrophe! I know it!! S:
Don’t worry for the time being. Without Tantalus, there’s no reason to go after
