¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
Basic Task......................You have inherited a large castle - your job
is to convert it into a small theme park.
Objectives......................To have at least 1,500 guests in your park at
the end of October, Year 4, with a park rating
                               of at least 600.

o Crazy Castle is a fairly easy park. The main thing to remember is to keep
the theme of a castle - don't go off building space themed rocket coasters
 - that is a waste of time.

o To start, build a few (2 or 3) gentle rides. Make sure to spread them evenly
around the park. There is no need to theme them with castle themeing until
year two or three because a) you can't afford it, b) your guest numbers are
low, and c) your time is not worth it.

o Next thing, build a medium sized roller coaster inside the walls of the
castle (medium intensity). Make sure the excitement rating is fairly high
because you will always charge it as the entrance fee (e.g. excite. rate.
 5.78, you charge €5.80).

o Next build another rollercoaster outside the walls of the castle to again
create a good source of income.

o Don't be afraid to borrow - your aim is guest figures, not low debt figures.
Use some of your extra cash from debt to finance big rides such as log
flumes. Spread these big rides throughtout the park and build lots of little
rides around them. These major rides attract guests and create profit, the
little rides create money and distract guests from the big rides (so queues
 stay shorter).

o Make sure to build the big rides FIRST and base the small rides around them
 - not the other way round, because it is easier to move small rides than big
 ones.

o Hire plenty of staff, again guest attraction and satisfaction are more
important than long term cashflow stability.

o Make sure to build a few shops and stalls - again spread them out, food
courts lock nice, but only work (make money) with over a thousned guests or
 so.

o When you have several rides you can do a bit of themeing around those
smaller rides. Also do up your queues and paths because guest satisfaction
 comes first.

o Your advertising and marketing spending should be kept high from early Year
 3. You must be aiming to have 1,000 guests or more by the end of Year 3 if
you want to succeed in this level.

o Continue rapid expansion of big rides and advertising till the end. If you
are struggling to get the 1,500 guests by the end of Year 4, cut ride
entrance fees and boost your park rating (that attracts guests) by hiring
 lots of staff.

                             2-B Electric Fields
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
Basic Task......................You have inherited a small farm and your
challenge is to build it into a small theme
park amongst the fields and farm buildings.
Objectives......................To have at least 700 guests in your park by
the end of October Year 2 with a park rating
                               of 600.

Initial Company Value...........€7,930
Initial Park Value..............€7,930

Profit System...................Free to enter, Pay for Rides
Rides Already Built.............Rowing Boats 1

o Ok this park is rather underdeveloped - theres only one ride - so in the
first few months concentrate on rapidly building rides to bring up guest
numbers - don't be too concerned about profit and cash levels.

o First thing to do is to raise the ticket price of Rowing Boats 1 to €2.20
(its excitement rating) then build a few (at least 2) small/medium
rollercoasters and one large one - spend at least €12,000 on these coasters.

o Make sure to place a Information Kiosk at the entrance to generate revenue
 from map sales.

o Build some thrill rides around the rollercoasters - this prevents
rollercoaster queues from getting too long and also generates lots of money.

o Stick to pre-designed rides and rollercoasters - you don't have time to
waste designing fancy track layouts - and you don't have the money either!

o Build a few food and drink stalls scattered throughout the park. They are
unlikely to make money until Year 2, but they will keep the guests happy
which is your main objective on this particular level. Similerly build
plenty of toilets and other aminities such as cash-machines and first aid
 rooms.

o Keep building right throught the game - the bigger the park - the more
guests you will attract. Even small rides will boost your park - however
save up every now and then for a new 'Mega' attraction - one that will
 attract guests just for it.

o Spend most of your income on new rides and keep borrowing, but don't neglect
hiring staff such as entertainers - guest satisfaction is worth more than a
second merry-go-round and also spend a large amount on advertising and park
promotion - use the marketing option to offer 'free rides' all the time on
your best rollercoasters and keep your advertising campaigns running year
 round.

o Remember your primary objective - guests numbers and satisfaction - bad
paths, little staff, no food etc., deters and angers guests - new rides,
straight paths, interesting foods please and attract guests.

¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
Basic Task......................An abandoned factory complex is an opportunity
to build a mechanical-themed amusement park.
Objectives......................To have at least 1,100 guests in your park by
October Year 3 and achieve a park rating of
                               600.

Profit System...................Pay to enter, Free rides
Rides Already Built.............None

o Start off by building a few major rollercoasters (borrow €5,000-€6,000 if
you need to) - like the previous two parks, your aim is guests not money

o You have more time this time so you can afford to design rides and your
path routes (keep paths simple). You can afford to build an extensive
transport system which will generate lots of cash for park expanision.

o There is no need to spend heavily on marketing for the first two years -
concentrate on attracting guests by good rides not good adverts.

o Since you have more time, you can afford to develop the factory theme in
the park, however don't spend too much over a couple of thousend to develop
your themeing because your money is better spent on rides.

o Fill the park with thrill rides and rollercoasters - gentle rides will
generally look out of place in this park.

o In the finally year you can start to market the park a bit more if your
 guest numbers are falling short.

                              3-A Amity Airfield
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
Basic Task......................Build a flying-themed amusement park in this
                               abandoned airfield.
Objectives......................To have at least 3,000 guests in your park by
the end of October Year 4 and your park rating
                               must be at least 600.

Rides Already Built.............None

o This is a large park, so you can spread your rides out and think big. Build
a few large rollercoasters to start - borrow a few thousned.

o A good transport system is needed in this park - to both help guests and rob
them of there free cash! Build a few stations if possible.

o Since this level is fairly long (4 years), it is worth looking and minding
the finances early on. In the first few parks I told you to expand at all
costs to attract guests - the money was'nt going to be a problem - well now
it will be because you have to finance the park for a much longer period.

o Repay your loan (or keep it low) because an interest rate of 10% is costly
(€15,000 loan = interest of €6,000 over 4 years) - maybe aim to knock a
thousned off every three months. However if you really need the money, don't
 hesitate in borrowing.

o No need to start marketing the park till the end of year 2 because new rides
alone will attract plenty of guests early on.

o Don't forget to build shops and stalls, because like I said money can be
difficult in this level and shops and stalls generate cash flow.

o Build a few information Kiosks because like I said this is a big park and
 guests will get lost.

                             3-B Botany Breakers
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
Basic Task......................Your challenge is to build a high-profit park
                               on this paradise island.
Objectives......................To achieve a ticket income of €10,000 per
                               month.
Initial Guests in Park..........0
Initial Rating..................0
Park Size.......................548,240 sq.ft

Debt Rate.......................at 10% per year
Initial Company Value...........€0
Initial Park Value..............€0
Buy Land........................No
Buy Construction Rights.........No
Profit System...................Free to enter, Pay for Rides
Rides Already Built.............None

o Unlike the earlier levels your STATED aim is not guest numbers or happiness,
but profit - however don't work towards profit - it will only come if you
 can build guest numbers.

o The terrain in this park is tough to build on and expensive. Build two very
good rollercoasters in the center of the island to start and link them to
the path. For the next year just build thrill rides and gentle rides because
as you will see rollercoaster construction is very very expensive - so those
 first two better be good!

o Concentrate on rides with high excitement ratings and short ride times
because you can charge most for these and get through lots of people. When
your building a custom-desiged rollercoaster or other such ride make sure
to select the highest number of cars, trains, boats etc possible for that
ride because the more capacity - the more paying guests you can have per
 hour on that ride.

o Althought the aim is ticket sales, shop sales won't make you any poorer!
Make sure to build enough to keep guests happy (but not to many, they cost
 money to build)

o Invest every single euro in new rides - not fancy themeing, fancy path
layouts or redisigning old rides - the simple fact is you cannot clear this
park with just 10 or 11 rides (well not very easily) you need 20, 30 or
 more!

o Don't advertise - need rides will do that for you. Also keep staff numbers
low (except mecanics... so no entertainers, only a few security gaurds and
 handymen and plenty of mecanics.)
______________________________________________________________________________
                               3-C Bumbly Bazaar
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
Basic Task......................Starting with a small market bazaar, your
challenge is to increase the profit from shops
and stalls by building rides and
                               rollercoasters to attract coustomers.
Objectives......................To achieve a stall income of €1,000 per month.
Initial Guests in Park..........41
Initial Rating..................467
Park Size.......................1,013,100 sq.ft.
Initial Cash....................€10,000
Initial Debt....................€10,000
Debt Rate.......................at 10% per year
Buy Land........................No
Buy Construction Rights.........No
Profit System...................Free to enter, Pay for Rides
Rides Already Built.............None only shops

o Again unlike the last few parks you have a new objective - stall income.
Like I said about Botany Breakers, don't worry about the objective -
concentrate on guest numbers - 500 guests spending €0.75 each on average is
not as good as 1,500 guests spending €0.50 each on average - so build rides
and market the park early on instead of new shops.

o Spread out your stalls through-out the park to maximise sales. Also don't
keep building the same stall and have 'Sunglasses Stall 1'...2...and 3,
build different stalls throughout the park - the same person will buy a hat,
glasses, a map and a souvenior - not 4 pairs of glasses.

o Foodcourts only work after guest numbers have reached about 2,000

                               3-D Dusty Greens
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
Basic Task......................Situated near a highway junction in the
desert, Dusty Greens is an opportunity to
develop a small golf course into a thriving
                               theme park.
Objectives......................To achieve a ticket income of €5,000 per
                               month.
Initial Guests in Park..........79
Initial Rating..................605
Park Size.......................219,120 sq.ft.

Initial Debt....................€10,000
Debt Rate.......................at 10% per year
Initial Company Value...........€7,933
Initial Park Value..............€7,933
Buy Land........................Yes
Buy Construction Rights.........Yes
Profit System...................Free to enter, Pay for Rides
Rides Already Built.............Mini Golf 1
                               Mini Golf 2

o Firstly demolish both Mini Golfs and build rollercoasters in their place -
how many mini golfs have you met so far that match a rollercoasters
 profitability?

o After those 2 rollercoasters only build small thrill rides and gentle rides
or (very small rollercoasters such as wild mouses) because space is at a
 premium.

o The ideal ride has a high excitement rating ( = high addmission price) and a
short duration (more guests per hour) - such as wild mouses and thrill rides
 such as launched freefall.

o After a year or two check to see what your most profitably ride is (other
than the two rollercoasters) - then build one the exact same as it at the
 other side of the park.

o Firstly build a few (at least 2) good wooden rollercoasters - these will
attract guests to the park and keep several hundred happy at any given time
(in a park without ride addmissions income and a guest no. objective - the
fewer expensive running-cost rides the better). Think of it this way your
objective is to entertain (or atleast occupy) your 2,500 guests all at the
same time - which way is best - 30 small rides costing €46.90 each to run
or 7 large ones costing €150 each to run. My calculator says the 7 large
 ones.

o Market your big rides heavily - your aim is guest numbers. Also hire plenty
of staff, guest happiness is important.

o Cut your research budget, you won't need and can't build many of the new
rollercoasters - so theres no point spending money to discover them.

Rides Already Built............."Treetop Flyer" (Wooden Roller Coaster)

o  This is a really great park. You have no time limit, and a hugh amount of
space. The landscape offers many opportunities to build interesting roller
coasters. Unfortuatly you are ONLY allowed to build Roller Coasters.

o  Start by borrowing the maximum loan of €45,000 and building a substantial
roller coaster that has been pre-designed - preferably a corkscrew or
  twister.

o  Immidiatly add another two slightly smaller roller coasters. Make sure to
spread your roller coasters out through the park, this will eliminate
Guests leaving the park quickly or refusing to pay a large entrance fee.

o  You now have 4 roller coasters in opperation, so perhaps increase the
entrance fee to €15 or €20.

o  Depending on how intense your coasters are, guests will start to complain
about the paths being disgusting. Add plenty of benchs and bins outside
ride exits and hire a few Handymen. Also hire one/two security gaurds,
an entertainer and two/three mechanics - a roller coaster park needs
  plenty of mechanics.

o  Income will slowly start to climb up - €2,000, €3,000, €4,000. However as
visiter numbers cross 500 and eventually 1,000, you should add an
information kisok near the entrance to supplement your income. Also start
building tolits across the park - charge 20c entrance for each.

o  The next problem will be the complaints "I'm Thirsty" - note NOT "I'm
hungry." So start building a few Wanton Soap Stalls, Drinks Stalls, Hot
Chocolates Stalls, Iced Tea Stalls and Lemonade Stalls throughout the park.

o  To start pulling in the big money you will need to increase your entrance
fee to over €50 - but people will only pay this if you can offer plenty of
rides. But to build rides you need money. So firstly start advertising the
park, raise the entrance fee to €25 and start building a few smallish
roller coasters - Wooden Wild Mouse, Wild Mouse, Junior Roller Coaster,
Mini Roller Coaster etc. As your number of Roller Coasters increases,
slowly raise your entrance fee in line with coasters, as you hit about
10-12 coasters you can rise to €50.

o  As your income tops out at €10,000 a month, start adding food stalls and
gift stalls throughout the park. This will hopefully add another €750 to
  the bottom line.

o  Start to market yourself even more aggresively and continue building new
roller coasters - 1 per month at a cost of perhaps €9-€15k each.

o  There is no need to pay off your debt for the moment before you ask. It
does not decrease your park value.

o  Build an ATM beside your entrance and main food areas, this is because when
your entrance fee hits €60, people start running out of money.

o  Continue the building until you hit a park value of €500,000 then start
  paying off your death.

o Aim to build at least 3 rollercoasters a year (if not more) over excitment
 rating 6.00.

o Don't waste time on rollercoasters under 6.00. You have'nt the money or time
 to spare.

o Just because your objective is rollercoasters, don't ignore thrill/gentle
rides - they can produce the revenue to pay for expensive rollercoasters.

o Don't custom design the coasters if possible - a) you cannot predict if they
will have a high enough excitement rating or not, b) it is more expensive to
custom design rides, and c) it is time consuming.

o The simplist way to complete your task is to build the 10 cheapest pre-made
 rollercoasters over excitement rating 6.00.

o Don't forget you've a park to run! Devot at least 30% of your time to
managing money, staff, attracting guests and solving problems.

o Ignore the idea of a "snow themed" park, just build lots of high profit
rides - don't waste time themeing your park.

o The terrain is tricky to build on snd you don't want expensive high supports
 - so when building rollercoasters, custom design them - the premade ones
will be very expensive due to high supports.

o Build plenty of thrill rides with high excitement ratings - not low
excitement gentle rides because the higher the rating - the higher the ride
 income.

o Borrow only to finance the major rollercoasters - not small rides, small
rides should be paid for by cashflow.

o Hire plenty of mechanics - you want all your rides running at all times to
 keep making money.

o Advertise to boost guest numbers - the more guests the more money you can
 make.

o After you've built a good few rides, go to your older rides and check the
ticket price equals the excitement ratings because as more rides are built
around one another - their ratings increase - and if you can boost ticket
prices by 10c each your overall ride income will dramatically increase.

o It would be nice to build a nicely themed park with wooden rollercoasters
and western theming - but that takes time. The quickest route to success is
building plenty of pre-designed new rollercoasters.

o As I said earlier don't waste your time on any coaster under 7.00 excitement
rating because thats a waste of money and time. Also don't build any coustom
rollercoasters - because if you fail to get the 7 rating then it proves a
massive waste of time and money.

o You need plenty of money to pay for your rollercoasters - so get guest
numbers up - but ignore your ratings because guests will spend the same
whether your rating is 500 or 900.

o The interest rate is fair enough - so take advantage of it to borrow plenty
 of money to build rollercoasters.

o A few high excitement thrill rides will generate important cash for new
rollercoasters. However don't spend to long building these.

o Since the range of rides you can (easily) build is low - theme your park to
 attract guests.

o Build rollercoasters beside one another to boost their individual excitement

o Gradually raise the entrance price - maybe by €15 every year - however don't

o Your park value must stay above €700,000 - so don't just sell off all your
rides - however it is worth selling one or two (a park value of exactly
€700,000 will do) - but make sure they are two of the least profitably
 rides.

o Raise your entrance fee if guests are coming to your park in droves -
however don't let it get much higher than €60.

o Build shops and stalls to generate extra money. However close any that still
 lose money after 6 months.

o Spend pretty much all your income on reducing your debt. This park is
relatively easy - its just a matter of patience.

                       7-A1 Air Powered Vertical Coaster
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
Construction..............Track consists of steel of steel girders. Trains run
on rubber tires to give a smooth ride, with up-stop
                         wheels below.
Special Track Elements....Banked Curve, Vertical Track
Maximum track slope.......90°
Vehicles..................Air Powered Coaster Train
Other Info................The train is launched out of the station by an air-
powered launch system. To achieve a comfortable
ride, the launch speed should be carefully chosen
so the train is travelling at a minimum speed over
                         the crest of the hill.
Approximate Cost..........€6,750 upwards
Comments..................This is quite a tricky rollercoaster to design,
                         practice in the designer.
Tips for Construction.....This rollercoaster really does'nt give you much
choice on how to build it, all you can really do is
build rides like Wings of Apollo, except with
                         different themeing.

                            7-A2 Bobsleigh Coaster
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
Construction..............Track is a semi-circular channel, supported by
tubular steel posts. Cars run on small wheels, and
are free to take their own course along the track,
guided only by the curvature and gradient of the
                         channel.
Special Track Elements....Banked Curves, Banked Helix
Banked Curves.............50° banking
Maximum track slope.......25°
Lift hill maximum slope...25°
Max. Height above ground..90ft
Vehicles..................Bobsleigh Cars
Other Info................Track layout requires very careful planning, as cars
can crash off the track at the crests of hills if it
                         is going to fast.
Approximate Cost..........€2,700 upwards
Comments..................Again this rollercoaster does not offer a lot of
choice other than going around and around in
                         circles.
Tips for Construction.....1)In Bobsled coasters you must be careful not to
have too high of a speed going into a turn, crashs
                         easily occur.
2)Stick with Helixs, they are both easy to use, fun
                         and compact.
3)There is no need to go too high, 40ft is more than
                         enough.

the maximum excitement rating your likely to get is not going to change much
 with ride lenght.

Modes.....................Freefall drop mode

o One of the best thrill rides - build more than one in big parks because

o Roto Drops allow guests to see the whole park - so placing them in the
centre of the park means; not only do they make lots of money; but also
help guests find there way around.
______________________________________________________________________________
                               8-L1 - Snow Cups
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
Basic Cost................€Low
Running Cost per hour.....€Low
Modes.....................Continuous Circuit Mode

o I've never actually used this ride (until I wrote this guide) because I find
it boring and most guests do also.
______________________________________________________________________________
                              8-L2 - Space Rings

Basic Cost................€330
Running Cost per hour.....€49.60
Modes.....................One Ride Mode
                         Unlimited Rides Mode

o The one ride mode is by fare the most profitable - don't even consider the
unlimited rides mode in a park where guests pay for rides not the entrance
 fee.
______________________________________________________________________________
                          8-M1 - Suspended Monorail
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯

______________________________________________________________________________
                             9-A1 - Balloon Stall
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
Cost: €200
Stock cost: €0.90
Ideal Price: €1.50
Profit: €0.60

Balloon Stalls sell balloons in a wide variety of colours. It is advisable not
to open any balloon stalls until guest numbers hit about 1,000+. Stalls should
be placed in areas where large numbers of people cross, particularly at path
intersections. If you have more than one balloon stall, make sure to offer
different colours - and as time progresses, change the colour of balloons in
all shops. Most parks can only support about 3 stalls, but they are likely to
be highly profitable. If you want a bit of fun, you can pop any balloons that
float off by clicking on them.
______________________________________________________________________________
                           9-A2 - Beef Noodle Stall
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
Cost: €300
Stock cost: €1.50
Ideal Price: €2.00
Profit: €0.50

I would'nt build Beef Noodle Stall's given the choice, the base product cost
is quite high, so you cannot charge over more than €2, or you will deter
guests, so this leaves a low profit margin. However they do offer guests a
change from the burgers and chips. Beef Noodle Stall's also really suit
the oriental themed areas of your park.
______________________________________________________________________________
                               9-A3 - Burger Bar
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
Cost: €300
Stock cost: €1.50
Ideal Price: €2.10
Profit: €0.60

Burger bars are the standard food shop. They tend to be very profitable and
are ideally suited to busy unthemed areas such as entrance zones or food
courts. Unfortuatly they look rather unoriginal and dull. You can boast
profits by placing burger bars near the exits of long queue rides, because
guests tend to have built up an appetite after queuing for ages.
______________________________________________________________________________
                             9-B1 - Candy Apple Stall
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
Cost: €300
Stock cost: €0.70
Ideal Price: €1.20
Profit: €0.50

Candy apple stalls will only make serious cash when placed in certain high
footfall areas such as path intersections. Ride exits work well also althought
not as good as squares or path crossings. However overall Candy Apples don't
make as much money as say Chicken Nugget's.
______________________________________________________________________________
                               9-B2 - Cash Machine
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
Cost: €200

Cash machines are essential in all parks - both pay at entrance and pay at
ride parks. In pay at entrance parks, cash machines should be placed near
entrance areas and particularly food courts. In pay at ride parks, machines
should be built everywhere - particularly near the back of the park.
______________________________________________________________________________
                           9-B3 - Chicken Nuggets Stall
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
Cost: €300
Stock cost: €1.50
Ideal Price: €2.00
Profit: €0.50

Quite profitable, can turn profit in most loctions, even in small parks
because chicken nuggets are substantial and easily cover guests hunger.
Chicken Nugget Stalls can be the ancor for your food court and is likely to
be the first to brake even.
______________________________________________________________________________
                               9-C1 - Coffee Shop
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
Cost: €250
Stock cost: €1.20
Ideal Price: €1.90
Profit: €0.70

Great oppertunities here, great profit margin and a very popular product. This
is definatly one of the best drink stalls. Place throughout park - mainly
beside food stalls.
______________________________________________________________________________
                               9-C2 - Cookie Shop
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
Cost: €300
Stock cost: €0.70
Ideal Price: €1.00
Profit: €0.30

Cookies euh? Sounds good right? Well not really, profit margin is quite low
and product does not really fill guests. Only build in large parks and in
food courts.
______________________________________________________________________________
                           9-C3 - Cotton Candy Stall
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
Cost: €300
Stock cost: €0.80
Ideal Price: €1.30
Profit: €0.50

Good profitable stall, althought don't go mad with them. Fits in nicely in
themed areas - particularly wonderland. Profits are highest at cross roads,
ride exits and high footfall food courts.
______________________________________________________________________________
                              9-D1 - Donut Shop
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
Cost: €300
Stock cost: €0.70
Ideal Price: €1.00
Profit: €0.30

Not spectacular, at €1 you will need to sell a lot of donuts, so set your
sights only on burgers in particularly busy parks and especially in busy
areas.
______________________________________________________________________________
                              9-D2 - Drink Stall
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
Cost: €250
Stock cost: €1.20
Ideal Price: €1.70
Profit: €0.50

Drink stalls are the most important and most profitable shops in the game
apart from Burger Bars - and pairing them with Burger Bars will result in
great profits. Place at ride exits, path crossings, squares etc. and you
can't go wrong.
______________________________________________________________________________
                           9-D3 - First Aid Station
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
Cost: €250

Not as important as you may think. Only build a few clustered near roller
coasters and high nausea rides such as launched freefalls. Rembember every
extra one costs you in running costs.
______________________________________________________________________________
                          9-E1 - Fried Chicken Stall
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
Cost: €300
Stock cost: €1.50
Ideal Price: €2.00

                           10-A - Staff Organisation
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
________
Handymen
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
o The best way to organise handymen is to firstly assign 75% of your handymen
to specific places that tend to get dirty - ride exits, foodcourts etc. The
other 25% should be let roam free doing odd jobs.

o It is pointless getting lawns mowed - never assign handymen to this task.
_________
Mechanics
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
o Assign handymen to cover 4 or 5 rides that are close to one another. This
 means ride downtime is minimised.

o You can adjust the frequency of ride checkups in the ride control screen
on rides that frequently breakdown - this improves mechanic efficency.
_______________
Security Gaurds
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
o Assign security gaurds to trouble spots like foodcourts.
______________________________________________________________________________
                                10-B - Queues
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
Queues are very important, so here I'll explain the ground rules regarding
queues.
__________________________
Not to Long - Not to Short
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
Queues should never be too long, no matter which ride they belong to. This is
because...

a) guests get fed up and your park rating suffers,
b) you have to pay extra entertainers to keep them happy,
c) everyone ends up in a queue for the popular rides and there is thus no one
left to ride other less popular rides, so they lose money,
d) since there are fewer people walking around, less money is spent in shops
  and stalls,

Similerly queues should not be too short because...

a) trains/carriages will end up leaving half empty,
b) paths will suffer from crowding sooner,
____________
Ideal lenght
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
The ideal lenght is approximatly 2 times the max train/carriage load - that is
about 24 people for most queues.
_______
Routing
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
Queues should not just be wraped around one another such as...

Start
| |_________
|_________  |
|  _________|
|_________  |
       Finish

..instead they should becarefully routed around the ride, under the track and
around the theming. This increases the excitement of the ride.
__________
Other Tips
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
o Use TV Moniters in queues to increase guests anticipation and thus their
excitement levels. This also reduces complaints of bordem. 2 Moniters is
 enough for any queue.

o Themeing ride queues increases guests general happiess.

o You can choose from a variety of queue types, try various ones to make
 different rides more interesting.
______________________________________________________________________________
10-C - Adding Excitment to Rides
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
The best ways to increase your income is to boost your excitement rating,
heres how:

o Theme rides - theming boosts guests overall enjoyment of a ride - even trees
 and fences boost excitement ratings.

o Interlock track - if you have more than one track banking and curving around
another - guests will find the ride much more exciteing.

o Build rides beside one another - riders will gain some excitement from the
 nearby rides.

o Build high, over water and underground - althought it is costly, it boosts
the excitement rating by a considerable amount.

Q: When playing the scenario "Six Flags Great Adventure" after getting the
