Playable Monster Skin and Portrait Guide *also all voicesets*

Introduction: This guide is for players who wish to create their character
to look like a monster or NPC found in the game "Neverwinter Nights". This
includes skins and portraits for you character. I created this faq because
I enjoy playing as a monster or NPC and numerous amounts of players continue
to ask me how do I look like that and there being no guides anywhere in that
matter on how to create the perfect monster or NPC playing experience I've
decided to share the secret on how to look like it.

Requirements:
1. Obviously the game "NeverwinterNights" as well as minimum specs.
2. Zoligato's NWN viewer found here:

Step 1: Custom Portrait
First you'll want to extract the portraits so other people can see them online.
After downloading the viewer open up the program and go file>open bif>
NeverwinterNights. It may be a slow process, not to worry it's loading up
the file list. Now on the given list select the package, data/textures_02.bif.
It'll give you a list on the bottom row now. These are all of the textures
in the game. Scroll down until you reach files beginning with the words po_.
These are now the portraits in the game. Now search for whichever portraits
you want, there will be a preview on the right. When you find the ones you
want right click all variations of it, ex: po_penguinH.tga, po_penguinL.tga,
po_penguinM.tga, po_penguinS.tga, po_penguinT.tga. Those 5 files make up
one portrait. Once you have found the files right click it and extract it
into you Neverwinter Nights directory in the portraits folder, *do not rename
them or else other players won't see them online! *, Congratulations you now
have access to the new portrait.

Step 2: New Character
Start up Neverwinter nights and start a new game and new character in any
module. Set it up anyway you like as this will be your playable monster or
NPC. To role-play better characters select a sub race for you character like
penguin or golem. Once you reach the portrait selection scroll to the bottom
and you'll find your new portraits to choose form. After finishing your
character start up the game offline!

Step 3: Skinning the Monster
Now comes the monster selection part. When offline in the game press the
` button to open up your console on the top right corner of the screen. Now
here type in as case sensitive:
DebugMode 1
Hit return or enter. If you did it right it will say success. Now comes
the part to skinning. Type in case sensitive:
SetAppearance ???
Where the question mark is you must fill it in with a three-digit number.
Below are the numbers to go in the question mark spot pertaining to different
monsters:

Step4: Voice Sets
You have your character, you have the portrait the only thing left are the
voices. You want to make your character as realistic as possible, now we
can't have an aribeth character saying buttons and barndoors now can we. All
you have to do is download the file I uploaded onto nwnvault and follow all
instructions called the found here:
http://nwvault.ign.com/Files/hakpacks/hakpackslist2.shtml
Look for access to all voicesets, and remember unzip it and load into override
folder!

Step 5: Online and Offline Play
Congratulations you know have you new and improved monster/NPC character.
Now just press Esc and select save character. After exporting it your
character will be like that forever or at least until you press SetAppearance
again.
