 First things first, thank you for choosing to read my guide of Legend of
Grimrock. This is a dungeon crawling game, going back to some of the old school
Atari style games like Dungeon Master or Eye of the Beholder. Their are tons
of secrets and lots of puzzles to be had, so adventurers are sure to get stumped
along the way. This guide will help you reach all of those secrets and details
them in a way that you can jump in at anytime.

Party and Marching Order
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
- You control a party of four prisoners.
- Prisoners walk in a square formation with a front and back row.
- Only the front row can perform melee attacks.
- Use W, A, S, D to move and Q, E to turn.

Portraits and Item Slots
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
- The item slots are used for attacking and for displaying what the characters
 carry in their hands.
- Left click on an item to pick it up from the slot and right click to attack
 with the item.
- You can change the marching order by dragging a portrait with the left mouse
 button.

Character Sheet
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
- Right click on a portrait or use the default keyboard shortcuts 1, 2, 3, and
 4 to access the character sheets.
- The equipment, statistics and skills of a character are displayed on
 separate tabs.
- If a character suffers from a special condition such as poisoning or hunger,
 its effects can be seen on the statistics tab.

The HUD

- Throw items by dropping them in the top half of the screen.
- Pick up and drop items by clicking in the bottom half of the screen.

|         Axes             | Generally, a Fighter will absorb more damage than |

Secret #01 - In the very first room search the south wall (D09) for a hidden
             switch. This opens a secret room at C10 containing [LURKER BOOTS]
             and a [SHURIKEN].
Secret #02 - Press the hidden switch on the northern wall of G09 to raise a
             secret wall. Head to H04 to acquire a [DAGGER], [TAR BREAD], and
             two [CAVE NETTLES].
Secret #03 - This is obtained by opening the Iron Door by using the hidden
             switches on the north end of E13 and east end of F15. Move into
             the room at D14 to find a [WHITEWOOD WAND] and a [SCROLL].

First Steps
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
 Start off by turning around and using the hidden switch a D09 to open up a
secret room. Inside you will find [LURKER BOOTS] and a [SHURIKEN]. Move to the
portcullis; to the right is a message, to the left a [TORCH] that must be taken
from the sconce. Continue through the hallway to another barrier, use the handle
to open the path. Proceed to J01 where you will find a [PEASANT'S TUNIC] and a
pair of [PEASANT'S BREECHES]. Move to K02 where you can acquire a [CUDGEL] then
turn to another portcullis, using the lever to gain passage.

 Move through the hallway to K06 and pick up the [ROCK] then throw it on the
pressure plate to open the gate (or better yet, throw your torch and just pick
another one up). Move around the corner to N08 to pick up the [BRASS KEY]. Now
head to S05 to find another [ROCK] then open the door with the key you just
recently acquired. At V05 you get the hint, "Loose rock" which hints at the
hidden switch on W05. Move up to W04 and grab the [IRON KEY].

Deeper into the Darkness
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
 With the key in hand, open the next passageway then proceed to X07 to fight
your first enemy, a Giant Snail. Slay the beast then go to Y07 to find a
[KNIFE], some [LEATHER PANTS], and [LEATHER BOOTS]. Use the lever to raise the
next portcullis then grab the [THROWING KNIFE] from X15. Turn the corner to find
two Giant Snails waiting in the hallway. Defeat them then turn north making your
way to Q08 to find [PITROOT BREAD] and another [ROCK].

 Head back south now to V17 to find a [BAKED MAGGOT], a [ROCK], and a pair
of [SANDALS]. At W17 you can find a [LOINCLOTH]. Return to the north hallway
and use the handle at S11 to gain passage west. The note aptly puts it,
something must fly, however you cannot. Toss a rock over to the pressure plate
to close the trapdoor then proceed to 011 to pick up the [IRON KEY]. If you
want the rock back, pick it up and fall through the trapdoor then use the
portal to get back up top.

Statue and Blue Gems
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
 Open the Iron Door then turn north following the path to a handle that raises
the portcullis and thrusting you into combat with some Herders. Kill them by
backing up as your attack turns regenerate so you aren't cornered. Turn left
through into the next room to find a [GRIM CAP] on the floor at I12. At G06
you can find another [GRIM CAP] and at H05 some [TAR BREAD]. Pull the lever to
gain access to G09 where you can reach the [BLUE GEM]. On the northern wall is
a hidden switch that grants access to H04.

 Head to H04 to pick up a [DAGGER], [TAR BREAD], and two [CAVE NETTLES]. Move
to the southern end now, using the lever to retract the trapdoor. Defeat the
Giant Snails the move east to O18 to find a [ROCK]. 019 has the [SCROLL OF
FIREBUST] and 020 has a [TATTERED CLOAK] and [LOINCLOTH]. Return to center and
defeat the two Giant Snails behind the gate then move to I21 and snag the
second [BLUE GEM]. Press the hidden switch on the northern wall to raise the
portcullis then you can drop down the trap door to fight a Giant Snail and pick
up a [ROCK] if you so choose, using the portal to get back up.

The Iron Door
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
 Place the Blue Gems in the statue at K13 then prepare to back up as a deadly
Skeleton Warrior waits just beyond the door. With some simple kiting you can
defeat this foe and pick up his items, a [LEGIONARY SHIELD] and [LEGIONARY
SPEAR]. Equip them then turn the corner to spot an Iron Door. To open it press
the hidden switches on the northern wall at E13 and the eastern wall at F15.
Behind the Iron Door is a [WHITEWOOD WAND] and a [SCROLL]. At E15 you can find
another [SCROLL] and a Crystal of Life at E17 that fully heals the party. E18
has a third [SCROLL] and E20 secures the [SCROLL OF POISON CLOUD]. Head down the
steps to reach level 2.

             HELMET], a [SKULL], [LEATHER PANTS], and [TAR BEAD].
Secret #08 - Stand facing the Daemon statue at T09 for ~15 seconds and the
             Iron Door will open, thrusting you into combat with Skeleton
             Warriors and hiding the [FIRE BOMBS].

To the First Holding Cells
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
 Move forward then turn north, using the lever to enter the room. If you
missed them earlier, inside you can find a [PEASANT'S CAP] and [ROCK]. Move
south around the barrels then defeat the Giant Snail. Raise the portcullis with
the handle then move to I31 where you can find a [ROCK] and a new [TORCH].
Use the lever to the north to raise the gate. Inside this room you will find
a [DOUBLET], a [DAGGER], some [SILK HOSE], and [MOLE JERKY]. Move to the room
on the west to battle a few Herder and Small Herder.

 Move around to B31 to find the [IRON KEY], a [COMPASS], and a [MACHETE]. With
the key in hand, open the door at N28. At Q27, search the north wall for an
empty sconce. Place a torch there then turn right to find the [IRON BASINET].
Pick up the torch then use the lever next to the portcullis to raise it. Around
the bend is a Giant Snail that must be dealt with. Look north into the well lit
cage to find a [SANDMOLE HIDE VEST] that you can reach. Underneath it, the
[BRASS KEY] required in the very near future.

A Duel with Skeleton Warriors
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
 Use the key to enter the next room then turn west, moving to S29 where you
find a [ROCK]. On the northern wall of this tile is a hidden switch, press it
then enter the cell to find three [POISON ARROWS]. Back in the other room, place
some objects on the pressure plates (torches work just fine) to open the door.
Move up and slay the Crowern, then turn east. Place any weapon into the wall
slot at Z23 to open the gate. Defeat the two Giant Snails then pick up the
[ROCK], [GRIM CAP], and [IRON KEY].

 Search the western wall of Z25 for a hidden switch to reach the [POINTY
SHOES]. Move to the portal at f23 to enter the jail cells portion of this
level. Press either switch on the wall repeatedly until the Skeleton Warrior
and [SACK] appear at I02. Defeat the enemy and open the sack to find another
[IRON KEY], a [LEATHER CAP], and some [PITROOT BREAD]. Return through the portal
and make your way to c27. Stand on the pressure plate and be ready for a duel
with another Skeleton Warrior.

 As you defeat them more will come out, totaling three. Loot the [TATTERED
CLOAK], [BONE AMULET], and [SCROLL OF ICE SHARDS] then use all three levers to
raise the portcullis. Head to X17, using the keys, to reach a Crystal of Life.
You cannot progress through the central door until you acquire two more keys.
Head west, defeating a Crowern then down into the dark room to find another.
Press the hidden switch on the western side of S24, then on the southern end
of Q20, then at R18's southern side. You'll have to defeat a Crowern for the
last switch.

Two Brass Keys is the Toll
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
 Head to U23 to find the [BRASS KEY] and a [THROWING KNIFE]. Return to the
Crystal of Life and go east. On a14's western side is a hidden switch. Press it
then back up as fast as you can to pass the portal. If you hit the portal you
are just teleported back two spaces and turning around takes too long, so just
back your way into the next room. Chuck something across the trapdoor to get
to the other side then open the door. Inside, defeat the Crowern the pick up
the [CAVE NETTLE], [HAND AXE], and the other [BRASS KEY].

 Return to center and use the keys to raise the portcullis. Enter the portal
to warp to the other end of the map. Grab the [SCROLL OF POISON BOLT] and
[THROWING KNIFE] then hit the hidden switch on the southern wall at I07 to open
the way. Defeat the Herder and turn the corner to find two more in the hallway.
At the end of the hallway pick up the [PITROOT BREAD] then return to the
eastern door. Press the switch then turn back to the hallway to find two
Herder.

Secrets Galore and a Treasure
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
 Defeat them and snag the hard-to-see [SLING]. Go back east laying siege the
horde of Herder and Small Herder. Turn north to find a [BRASS KEY] at W01 then
pull the lever, returning to the previous room. Check the newly opened passage
and defeat your enemies. Pick up the [PHALANX HELMET], [SKULL], [LEATHER PANTS],
and [TAR BEAD] then move east to a [GRIM CAP]. Use the brass key after picking
up the [CAVE NETTLE] and [NOMAD BOOTS] in the corner. Return to a07 and hit the
hidden switch on the southern end, then move to X06 for the first treasure, the
[GOLDEN CHALICE].

 Go through the door with the brass key to find a lever at the end of the hall,
opening a path to previous half of the dungeon. Go west now and stand on the
pressure plate to open the door. Defeat the Skeleton Warrior then move around
the corner to a Skeleton Warrior formation. After the intense battle, head to
T09 and face the statue. Wait for approximately 15 seconds in this spot and the
door will open springing another Skeleton Warrior group on you.

 Move back south and on the northern wall of O13 is a hidden switch. Defeat
the Skeleton Warrior then move in to find a [WOODEN BOX] that contains a
[HEALING POTION], [SCROLL OF POISON SHIELD], and [LEATHER BRIGANDINE]. Make your
way down the final hall and pick up the [SACK] carrying a [SCROLL], [MORTAR AND
PESTLE], 2 [FLASKS], [TAR BEAD x2], and a [CAVE NETTLE]. Remove the torch from
the sconce to raise the portcullis then proceed to level 3.

Secret #10 - Press the hidden switch at C31 then at E31. Throw the Shuriken
             across the way to raise the trapdoors and claim the [SHORT BOW]
             and [BROADHEAD ARROWS].
Secret #11 - Press the hidden switch at J17 then hit the switch above the
             second trapdoor quickly. Take the portal at J20 to a [TOME OF
             HEALTH] and a [SHURIKEN].
Secret #12 - Drop into the pit at J18 then place an object on the pressure
             plate. Hit the hidden switch at S16 then place two more objects
             on each of the pressure plates behind the portculli. Move across
             to claim your prize, the [SERPENT BRACER].
Secret #13 - After claiming the previous secret, press the switch at S16
             again then move through the portal to find a [SCROLL OF
             INVISIBILITY].
Secret #14 - Sacrifice the Silk Hose at c21 to receive the [NOMAD MITTENS].
Secret #15 - Place torches on the sconces at V17 and Z17. Use the lever at T15
             then backtrack to the portal room, moving through the Iron Door
             to find a [HUNTSMAN CLOAK].
Secret #16 - When you release the Giant Spiders at L09 backtrack to T03 to
             find a new path opened up with [TAR BEADS]. Use the Hidden Switch
             to gain a secondary path to Level 4.
Secret #17 - Use the Gold Key to open the Gold Door and obtain the [RING BOOTS]
             and [KNOFFER MACE].

To the Crystal of Life
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
 The first room has a puzzle in it where you must remove the torches from the
outer wall and place three in the sconces on the central pillar, the door opens
once this has been accomplished. Move straight ahead to find a [FROST BOMB].
Go west, defeating the Crowern and moving south to fight a couple more. Now
that you are on the other side of the trapdoors, defeat the Skeleton Archer.
Back up to C31 and check the central wall for a hidden switch.

 Move to E31 where the hidden area was revealed and grab the [SHURIKEN]. Check
the western wall here for another hidden switch. Throw the Shuriken across the
trapdoors then happily trot over to a [SHORT BOW] and three [BROADHEAD ARROWS].
Remove the shuriken and fall into the pit to battle two Giant Snails. In one of
the corners is a [SKULL]. Flip the lever to create a portal then go back up.
Move to the intersection and turn right, pressing the switch. Don't move in,
simply place an item on the pressure plate and let the four enemies come to you,
otherwise you run the risk of getting surrounded.

 Once the coast is clear, raid the room for a [FLASK], [CAVE NETTLE], [BRASS
KEY], and [SHURIKEN]. Pull the lever then exit at the southwest where you find
a [BAKED MAGGOT] and two [TAR BEAD]. Use the key to open the door then follow
the halls to a split. Turn left to find [TOORUM'S NOTE #1] at the end of the
path. Take the other path this time to reach the Crystal of Life. Your goal is
across the trapdoors, but it's a long ways off.

Spiders and Secrets
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
 Turn the corner to meet your first Giant Spider. Beware the poison that one
can inflict. Having a Mage cast Poison Shield here will be invaluable. Raise
the portcullis and defeat the second Giant Spider. With the area secure, press
a hidden switch at J17 then dash to the second trapdoor and press the switch
before the trapdoor opens again. Use the portal at J20 to acquire a [TOME OF
HEALTH] and a [SHURIKEN]. Take the portal back and fall into the pits. Place an
item on the pressure plate here then press the hidden switch at the east end
of S16. (Refer to the Level 4 map)

 This removes the nasty portals, but now you need to raise the portculli. Place
an item on the pressure plates by reaching through the grates. Move up to find
a [SERPENT BRACER] then press the hidden switch once more. Move through the
portal to find the [SCROLL OF INVISIBILITY] then use the lever to return. With
all the secrets found, recover your items and return to floor 3.

Portals and More Spiders
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
 Back at floor 3, use the handle to enter a portal room. Grab the [ROCK]
through the fence then move into the portal area. Throw the rock to the
pressure plate to the east to seal the trapdoor then dash over to the eastern
side. Pick up the two [POISON BOMBS] the prepare an item for placement. You
must place the item on the other pressure plate when the portal is in front of
the door, that is, from the open side. Then quickly return to center and dash
through the open passageway.

 Head around to the lever granting quick access to and fro. Destroy the Spider
Eggs and pick up the [BROADHEAD ARROWS] before opening the next door. Inside
this area is a Giant Spider. You need two keys to open the next door, so get
moving south. Continue south at the fork to enter a room with four Giant
Spiders inside. Lure them back to fight one on one, because fighting all four
will just be too much. Loot the area, grabbing in particular, the [LONGSWORD]
and [IRON KEY].

Sacrifices and an Iron Door
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
 Use the lever and move to a trapdoor behind a barrier. Place any item on the
trapdoor and press the switch. Pick up the [SILK HOSE] and [IRON KEY] then place
then "sacrifice" the Silk Hose to be rewarded with the [NOMAD MITTENS]. With
both keys in hand you can now open the door. Defeat the Giant Spiders in this
room and place two Torches on the outer walls to open a secret room. Flip the
lever then backtrack to the moving portal puzzle. Pick up the object that is
on the pressure plate to close the trap door needed to go through the Iron Door
you opened and acquire the [HUNTSMAN CLOAK].

 Return to the room where you solved the puzzle, then remove a torch to exit
via the north. The west halls have a [SHURIKEN] and a [TAR BEAD]. Press the
hidden switch at W11 to release a Giant Spider and give quick access back to the
other room. With your new path opened, press the switch and dash through the
portcullis that opens. Defeat the two Giant Spiders and use the switch in this
room to keep the portcullis permanently open.

Late Warnings and a Gold Key
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
 Take the right path to find a [BOILED CRAG BEETLE] and [GRIM CAP] then
backtrack to the other side, defeating a Giant Spider. Some [LEATHER GLOVES]
sit to the south; use the handle to raise the door and move west. Slay the
Giant Spiders as you move to P14 where you acquire the [ROUND SHIELD]. At P12
pick up [TOORUM'S NOTE] then quickly turn around to find a Giant Spider. Kill
it and pick up the [GOLD KEY].

 Move north to find a [GRIM CAP] at P05 then use the handle nearby to enter a
room with a [WOODEN BOX]. It's contents include, 3 [CAVE NETTLE], 2 [TAR BEAD],
a [SCROLL], a [FIRE BOMB], the [SCROLL OF SHOCK], and [MOLE JERKY]. Now move to
to the western room by pulling a handle. This opens both paths so you are likely
to get attacked from both sides unless you move back to a better fighting
position. Defeat the Giant Spiders and pick the up [CAVE NETTLE] then backtrack
to T03 for a secret. Pick up the [TAR BEADS] then press the hidden switch at S02
to open another passageway.

The Spectral Relay
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
 Step on the pressure plate then place an object on the other one to raise the
bars. Move off, on, off of the pressure plate to fire the spectral ball and
dodge it so it hits the circle on the wall. Check the alcove near the firing
statue for a [BAKED MAGGOT]. Exit through the door then pick up a [LEATHER CAP]
and [TOORUM'S NOTE]. Use the Gold Key and enter the room to find the [RING
BOOTS] and a [KNOFFER MACE]. Rest up and move down to Level 4.

Secret #18 - In the southeast cage of the Beast Gardens and Menagerie is a
             hidden switch. Inside you'll find [PITROOT BREAD], [LEATHER BOOTS]
             and the [RING GAUNTLETS].
Secret #19 - In the "Time and Tide" section use the portal to warp to I16 and
             claim the [BOOK OF INFINITE WISDOM].
Secret #20 - In the "Time and Tide" section as you cross the moving bridge,
             use the hidden switch on the right side of the second tile then
             enter the right passage to find the [CHITIN MASK].
Secret #21 - Press the hidden switch at G30 and defeat the Skeleton Warrior.
             Pick up the [SACK] and [BONE NECKLACE] in the adjacent tile.
Secret #22 - Press the hidden switch at I27 then move to G23 to find a group
             of Skeleton Warriors. Pick up the [FIRE BOMB] and [FLAREFEATHER
             CAP] as your prize.
Secret #23 - Press the hidden switch at c28 then move to Z28 to acquire the
             [VENOM EDGE].
Secret #24 - Press the hidden switch at b23 then at X26 and drop into the
             central hole. Pick up the [GEAR KEY] then use it on the Iron Door
             at Q06 to find [CHITIN GREAVES].
Secret #25 - Press the hidden switch at d09 and acquire the [GREEN GEM]. Feed
             it to the Daemon Statue to enter a secret room where you can find
             2 [POISON BOMBS], a [CROSSBOW], a 6 [POISON QUARRELS].

Beast Gardens and Menagerie
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
 As you enter this floor Herders will appear. Kill them and pick up the [IRON
KEY] they leave behind. Use the key to open the gates then move to the square
section of the hallway where you can find a [FLASK], a [SCROLL], and a [GRIM
CAP]. Open the door and defeat the groups of Skeleton Archers. Notice that there
are plenty of notes around the room and four portals, one in each corner of the
room. Take the top left portal labeled "Beast Gardens and Menagerie."

 Start off by pressing the button in the corner then strafing right to stop
the ball of light from hitting the receptacle on the wall. The next room has
Skeleton Warriors that will continually respawn. Enter the southeast cage and
press a hidden switch to open up a wall in the northwest that contains [PITROOT
BREAD], [RING GAUNTLETS], and [LEATHER BOOTS]. You must now lure Skeleton
Warriors into the cells and lock them inside, placing objects on the pressure
plates just doesn't cut it.

 Search the area for some [BLOODDROP BLOSSOMS] then move south, defeating the
Crowerns. You'll be seeing this room often, in fact every time you solve one of
the puzzles you'll end up here. Grab the [SCROLL] with the inscription, "but
still dreaming" and place it in J10 to complete the sentence.

Time and Tide
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
 Enter the portal in the southwest labeled "Time and Tide" then proceed to
the [THROWING KNIVES]. Step on the pressure plate and listen to the ticks. On
the 4th tick, which is silent, a portal appears so simply time it right and
throw the knife. With the puzzle solved you can find a secret. Trigger the
pressure plate and move to the portal to be warped behind the bars nearby. Pick
up the [BOOK OF INFINITE WISDOM] as your reward then teleport back. Note that
if you fall into the pit you can find a [BAKED MAGGOT] and a portal back up.

 Move to the next section where you will need to time your paces. Defeat the
Crowern as you move across and ready a Throwing Knife to hit the pressure plate
and get access out. After you trigger the sequence look right on the second
block to find a hidden switch. Take the path right and snag the [CHITIN MASK]
as you move along. If you fall into the pit you'll have some nasty Skeleton
Archers and Warriors to fight and the portal takes you way back. Once you cross
you can snag the Throwing Knife and a [SHURIKEN]. Pick up the [SCROLL] labeled
"but never forgiven" and place it in M08.

The Catacomb
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
 Next, choose the portal labaled "The Catacomb" where you'll get ambushed by
Skeleton Warriors and Archers. Your objective is to pick up the items on the
pressure plates around the Catacomb. There are two items, a [ROCK] at J23 and
[BURROW RAT SHANK] at N29, that need to be picked up. You must also release the
Skeleton Warriors and defeat them as well. Don't miss [TOORUM'S NOTE] on the way
there. Move the items off this pressure plate the hit the hidden switch to find
another Skeleton Warrior. Defeat it and pick up the [SACK] that contains some
[BURROW RAT SHANK], two [TAR BEADS], and a pair of [LEATHER GLOVES]. There's
also a [BONE NECKLACE] underneath all the mess.

 Before leaving, head to H26 and pick up two [CROSSBOW QUARRELS] then press
the hidden switch at I27. Quickly move to G23, defeating the Skeleton Warriors,
to find a [FIRE BOMB] and [FLAREFEATHER CAP]. Move to the central area once more
and acquire the [SCROLL] labeled "to depths beyond measure" then place it at
J08.

Trails of Thought
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
 The last of these four puzzles, is "Trails of Thought." Enter the room then
make the following movements, with the numbers corresponding to the following
diagram:

 Turn the corner to a Crowern to enter the final puzzle. From the gate, go
forward, forward, backward, right, left. Now the trapdoors are closed and you
can reach the [IRON KEY]. Open the door and defeat the Skeleton Warrior. Now
to get the secrets. Return to the puzzle room and hit the hidden switch on the
wall at c28 then backtrack to the previous room where you can find the [VENOM
EDGE] dagger. Pick up the final [SCROLL] and get your fast fingers ready for yet
another secret. Press the hidden switch at b23 then rush to X26 to find another.
Now quickly drop down where the portal normally is to reach the [GEAR KEY].
Return to center and place the final scroll to open the north and south walls,
releasing Scavengers. Find a good defensive position then fight them off one at
a time.

The Iron Door and Slime Dungeon
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
 Use the lever in the southern passage then acquire the items around the
newly accessible halls. Open the Iron Door to obtain the [CHITIN GREAVES] then
pick up the [SCROLL OF FROSTBOLT], [BURROW RAT SHANK], and [FROST BOMB] in the
Crystal of Life room before returning to level 3. Once back at level 3, take
the stairs at V01 to reach a secluded part of level 4, aptly named the Slime
Dungeon. Open the door to find numerous Slimes that must be defeated. Pick up
the [SLIME BELLS] and [GOLDEN DEITY FIGURE] then press the hidden switch at
d09 to reach the [GREEN GEM] at f10.

 Feed the green gem to the daemon statue to enter a secret room where you can
find 2 [POISON BOMBS], a [CROSSBOW], and 6 [POISON QUARRELS]. With level 4
completely defeated, head to level 5.

Secret #26 - Press the hidden switches at a14 and a12 to reach the secret
             room where the [SCALED CLOAK] resides.
Secret #27 - Fall into the pits at d19 and press the hidden switch at d21 to
             release a Crowern and Wyvern. Defeat them and grab a [LIGHTNING
             BOMB] and [FIRE BOMB] from the secret room.
Secret #28 - In the room at c16, pull the lever, press the right button, pull
             the lever again, then press the left button. Defeat the Herders
             and move inside to find a [HERDER CAP] and [CONJURER'S HAT].
Secret #29 - Press the hidden switch at U17 to reach the [FIST DAGGER].
Secret #30 - Rest at N16 to open the Iron Door. Enter it's chamber to find the
             [LURKER VEST].
Secret #31 - Press the lever to open the Deserted Tunnel path then dash to J03
             to collect the [HUNTSMAN CLOAK], 3 [FIRE ARROWS], and [GRIM CAP].
Secret #32 - Press the hidden switch at B10 then make your way around the
             moving "bridge" to E14 and acquire the [BRACE OF FORTITUDE].

Trapdoor Room

 Start off by moving to the northern end and into the small room. Pick up the
[SCROLL OF FIRE SHIELD] and [CROSSBOW QUARRELS] then enter the eastern room.
Press the hidden switch at a14 then another at a12. Grab the [IRON KEY] and the
[WOODEN BOX] then enter the secret room to find a [SCALED CLOAK]. Use the Iron
Key to move west and then south past a Dragon Statue. Grab the [PITROOT BREAD]
and snag a [SHURIKEN] from the southern outlet.

 Note the direction of the Dragon Statue, it should be facing west. Enter the
next room where you'll eventually see another room with pits. There are three
switches in this room, number 1 is located at b18, number 2 is next to it at a18
and number 3 is across the pits at d21. Press them in the order of: 1, 3, 1, 2,
3. This should let you grab the [IRON KEY] but it also releases the Crowern
and Wyvern from their cells. Press switch 3 then cross over to find some
[BLOODDROP BLOSSOM] in the small alcove.

Switches, Levers, and Notes
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
 Press switch one to reach the other section and find one of [TOORUM'S NOTES].
Lastly, drop down into the pit and press the hidden switch at d21 (see the level
6 map). Defeat the Crowern and Wyvern then collect the two [LIGHTNING BOMBS] and
two [FIRE BOMBS]. In the previous room, as per Toorum's Note, pull the lever
down, press the right button, pull the lever up, then press the left button.
Kill the Herders then loot the [HERDER CAP] and [CONJURER'S HAT].

 Move west and use the Iron Key for a surprise party with Crowern and Wyvern.
Collect the [BLOODDROP BLOSSOM] then move north to the Crystal of Life and a
[TATTERED CLOAK]. After healing up, press the hidden switch at U17 to find the
[FIST DAGGER]. Now, fall down the hole near the Crystal of Life to find a
[SCROLL] which is actually one of [TOORUM'S NOTES]. Back up top, move west and
kill the Giant Crab. At the northern end of the hallway you can find the [RING
GREAVES]. Defeat the second Giant Crab then rest at N16. There's a note further
along that indicates to rest at the intersection of the two Dragon Statues, N16
is that point, and resting here will open the Iron Door.

Iron Door and Deserted Tunnels

 Enter the western room and then into the Iron Door chambers to collect the
[LURKER VEST]. Now exit via the northeast, labeled "Deserted Tunnels." Grab the
[ROCK] as you move down the hall and have it ready to be thrown. Flip the lever
and throw the rock down the hallway so that it lands on the pressure plate.
Quickly, strafe past the portcullis and into the room before the door closes.
As the note on the wall suggests, there is no turning back now.

 Move through the halls, defeating enemies that come out from the walls. Pick
up the [GRIM CAP] and [WARHAMMER] as you move east. Come back west when the
Adult Herder has spawned to find a [SHURIKEN] then move back east to find more
Herders and a [FIRE BOMB]. At the southwest is another [FIRE BOMB] and further
south is some [MILKREED]. Just northwest is a room with the [RING GAUNTLETS]
and some [TAR BEAD]. Ultimately, exit at the northwest and grab the [ORNATE
KEY].

 Pull the nearby lever to exit back to the Desert Tunnel entrance. Flip the
lever here then dart to J03 to collect the [HUNTSMAN CLOAK], 3 [FIRE ARROWS],
and [GRIM CAP]. Press the switch to leave then use the first Ornate Key.

Chamber of Pits
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
 Enter the Chamber of Pits next and fall into the pit. Defeat the enemies and
loot the area then come back up the steps. Grab the [BOILED CRAG BEETLE] and
[SHORT BOW] then return to the Chamber of Pits. Pull the lever then press the
button and when you reach the corner hit the hidden switch. Continue along and
hop off to grab the [BRACE OF FORTITUDE]. Press the hidden switch on this tile
to start the sequence again then just finish it.

 You can place an item down before picking up the Ornate Key to avoid the fight
but you'll never obtain the other items and you miss out on the experience.

 Defeat the Giant Crab then move into an empty room. Pick up the [ORNATE KEY]
and defeat the enemies that spawn. Inside the newly opened spaces, pick up the
two [LIGHTNING BOMBS], [TAR BEAD], and [GRIM CAP]. Place an object in the slot
where you picked up the Ornate Key then make your exit to level 6.

Secret #33 - Place a torch in the sconce at V19 to open up a secret room just
             above. Defeat the Skeleton Warrior and pick up the 2 [FIRE BOMBS].
Secret #34 - Press the hidden switch at V16 then stand on the pressure plate in
             the next room. Place an item in the portal then continue to the
             end of the hall and snag the [ORB OF RADIANCE].
Secret #35 - Go clockwise around the Walkabout several times. You'll obtain
             a [ROCK], battle a Skeleton Warrior, and acquire a [SACK] with
             a [SPEED POTION] inside.
Secret #36 - Press the hidden switch at D01 then move to D05 to collect the
             [SPIRIT MIRROR PENDANT].
Secret #37 - Press the hidden switch at Y05 then move to W01. Defeat the group
             of Skeleton Warriors and claim your prize, a [HEAVY SHIELD] and
             pair of [RING BOOTS].
Secret #38 - Press the hidden switch at b08 then move to e15 where you'll
             encounter a group of Skeleton Archers. Dismantle them and pick
             up the nearby [FROSTBITE NECKLACE].
Secret #39 - Fall into the pit at M24 to reach the [LURKER PANTS] and a
             [SHURIKEN].
Secret #40 - Place items on the pressure plate on level 8 to gain access to
             the [FULL HELMET].
Secret #41 - Press the hidden switch at O28 then another at O31, then a final
             one at N31. This grants access to a set of stairs in the previous
             nook. Simply going up the stairs triggers the secret but the prize
             is after defeating the Uggardians, a [PLATE CUIRASS] and [PLATE
             GAUNTLETS].
Secret #42 - Press the runic symbol at D18 to trigger this secret.
Secret #43 - Press the switch in the Puzzle Room to start the puzzle then hit
             the ones on the east, west, north, and south sides in that order.
             Enter D32 to obtain the [SWORD OF NEX] and [RING MAIL].
Secret #44 - Open the Iron Door and enter the room to find the [CHITIN MAIL].

Spiders and an Ogre
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
 As soon as you enter you trigger a pressure plate the summons 3 Giant Spiders.
Defeat them and move further into the room to encounter a massive Ogre. This
creature is powerful but slow, so only move into range to get a hit in then
back away so you don't take damage. Pick up the [OGRE HAMMER] and snag the
[GOLD KEY] from the [SACK], you'll be using it later. Move along the eastern
wall to find an empty sconce. Place a torch there then defeat the Skeleton
Warrior to the north. Pick up the 2 [FIRE BOMBS] then push the runic symbol
on the wall.

 Move further east and step on the pressure plate. Place an item into the
portal that appears then continue through. At the end of the tunnel pick up
the [ORB OF RADIANCE]. Defeat the Giant Crabs as you move out then head to a
small alcove to the west where you'll encounter four Giant Spiders. Once they
have been felled, acquire the [CUTLASS]. Enter the northwest section from the
entrance next.

Walkabout and Snails
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
 In this room, simply walk clockwise around the outer edge, eventually a
[ROCK] will spawn. Continue around and a Skeleton Warrior will randomly appear.
A few more times around and a [SACK] appears with a [SPEED POTION] and a [NOTE]
describing the recipe for making more Speed Potions inside. Return to the
entrance and exit at the northeast this time. Fight through the room of Giant
Snails, they respawn and will make a good food source if you're low.

The Maze of Madness
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
 After the Giant Snail room, you enter the Maze of Madness, littered with more
portals than you can count. Move to H05 and press the hidden switch then take
the portal at H01, then F03, and lastly E04. Move up to acquire the [ROUND KEY]
then press the hidden switch on the northern wall. Leave the maze then take
the bottom path through to the [SPIRIT MIRROR PENDANT].

Haunted Halls
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
 As you pass back through the Giant Snail room, take a detour at the Haunted
Halls. Move to Y05 and hit the hidden switch then move to W01 to find a group
of Skeleton Warriors. Defeat them and pick up the [RING BOOTS] and [HEAVY
SHIELD]. Continue east and pick up a [SHURIKEN] then press a hidden switch at
b08. Move south to find a group of Skeleton Archers and the [FROSTBITE NECKLACE]
then move back north.

 Lure a Skeleton Warrior to you, then trick it into standing on the pressure
plate so you can exit at a10. Inside this room you'll find a [ROUND KEY],
2 [TAR BEADS], a [BLOODDROP BLOSSOM], and a [CAVE NETTLE]. Pull the lever then
return to the level entrance.

Sequencis
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
 Head to the southeast where you'll reach the Sequencis and undoubtedly,
numerous Giant Crabs. Use a Round Key to reach the Crystal of Life then use
another to reach the [SCROLL]. Leave this hall and in the neighboring one enter
the portal. As you scroll through areas, be quick on the one with the door.
Pull the chain and defeat the Giant Snail. Pull the lever then hop back into
the portal, getting off at a different exit to reach a Giant Crab and a third
[ROUND KEY]. You can use this key to leave but instead, return to the entrance
of the level once more.

Halls of Fire Detour
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
 Enter the final portion of the level at the southwest. Grab a [THROWING KNIFE]
along the way and the [FIRE BOMB] inside the first room. Head into the Mages'
Entrance and defeat the Giant Crab then fall into the pit. This place is
littered with items and Crowern/Wyvern. First off is the [LURKER PANTS] and
[SHURIKEN]. Throughout the halls you'll also find, 2 [TARBEAD], a [SCROLL], a
pair of [PEASANT'S BREECHES], [SANDALS], and a [WOODEN BOX]. When your reach
the portal to go back up, choose not to and fall deeper into the pits.

 On this level start grabbing the [BOILED CRAG BEETLE] and [BAKED MAGGOT]. Move
down the hall and pick up the [FROST BOMBS] and [BLOODDROP BLOSSOM] then place
an item on the pressure plate. Move inside and kill the Scavengers then pick up
the [TAR BEADS]. Place an item on the pressure plate from this angle, then go
grab the other item. Pick the other item off the pressure plate and the other
Iron Door opens, granting access to the [FULL HELMET].

Fireball Statue and Uggardians
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
 Take the portals back up top and enter the hallway again, this time choosing
not to fall down the pit. Press the hidden switch at O28 then another at O31,
then a final one at N31. This grants access to a set of stairs in the previous
nook, but your goal is the [FIRE BLADE] and [SCROLL OF FIREBALL] near the
statue. Head up those stairs you accessed and defeat the Uggardians. Claim your
prize, a [PLATE CUIRASS] and [PLATE GAUNTLETS].

The Pit Puzzle and Golden Grave
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯

 Pressing switches in this room releases more enemies. The first one releases
a Giant Crab, the second releases two Uggardians, the third a single Uggardian,
and the fourth another Uggardian.

 Head back to the first room of the Halls of Fire and shoot a Fireball across
the gap at the Daemon Statue. Head to the southern part across the way and deal
with two more Uggardians. With them defeated, put on your running shoes and
get ready. Press the switch at I30, then dash to E28 to another switch, then
move quickly around the pillar to C26 where the [ROUND KEY] is located. Remove
the torch to get back across. Run the puzzle one more time but hit the west,
north, and south switches as well.

 Defeat the Uggardians and enter D32 to find the [SWORD OF NEX] and [RING MAIL]
in the room. Next, drop down the pit at A29 to enter the Golden Grave. Kill the
Giant Crab and grab the [CROWN OF KINGS]. Return to level 6 and take the
northern pass at the Daemon Statue.

The Fighter's Challenge
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
 Press the runic symbol at D18 then move down to the Fighter's Challenge. You
can only enter this area after acquiring the Sword of Nex. Approach the statue
to be warped to level 11 and surrounded by Scavengers. Defeat the monsters and
grab the [GOLD KEY], [POISON BOMB], and two [FIRE BOMBS]. Use the Gold Key to
enter the chamber and grab the best shield in the game, the [SHIELD OF VALOR].
Before leaving hit the hidden switch at Y29 to reach a [POISON BOMB] and the
[ANCIENT APPARATUS] treasure.

The Iron Door and Treasure Store
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
 Open the Iron Door with the final Round Key to find the [CHITIN MAIL]. Turn
the corner past the steps to enter the Treasure Store. You can use your Gold
Key here to open one of the three rooms, or save it for later. Once you're done,
take the steps down to level 7.

Secret #45 - Open all the doors in the first area except for the one at X30.
             Head to f31 to find 3 [THROWING KNIVES], [RING GREAVES], and a
             [BATTLE AXE].
Secret #46 - Press the hidden switch at T28 and enter the portal. Kill the
             Small Herders and grab the [MOLE JERKY], 2 [CROSSBOW QUARREL],
             and two [THROWING AXES].
Secret #47 - Press the runic symbol at N28 then pick up the four [FROST
             BOMBS].
Secret #48 - Fall into the pit at P18 and collect the [BRACELET OF TIRIN].
Secret #49 - In the room south of the Slime Room step on the pressure plates
             to let the spectral orb hit the receptacle on the wall. Claim your
             reward, the [SHAMAN STAFF] on the other side of the barrier.
Secret #50 - Fall into the pits in the room north of the Crystal of Life. Here
             you must navigate to the far side to claim the [BOOTS OF VALOR].
Secret #51 - Set the levers in the lever puzzle room to Up, Up, Down, Up, Down
             to gain access to the [ASSASSIN'S DAGGER].
Secret #52 - Press the runic symbol at C11 then dash to G15 to access the
             Vault of the Dismantler.
Secret #53 - In the final room, stop the spectral orbs from reaching the
             receptacles to open the Iron Door. Inside you'll find the [CHITIN
             BOOTS] and [SCROLL OF ENCHANT FIRE ARROW].

Drafts and the Maze of Shadows
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
 Move down the hall and into the corner room. Defeat the Slimes and pick up
the [TATTERED CLOAK] and [TOORUM'S NOTE]. Slay the remaining Slimes then read
the note for a hint to a secret. Proceed to open all the doors except the one
at X30. Enter the northwest room after opening it's door to claim a [TAR BEAD]
and [GRIM CAP] then move to f31. Claim the three [THROWING KNIVES], [RING
GREAVES], and [BATTLE AXE] then enter the Maze of Shadows.

 Move to X20 and acquire [TOORUM'S NOTE]. Continue to X23 and grab the [SCROLL
OF DARKNESS] then turn the corner to a [SLIME BELL]. You can also find the
[HARDSTONE BRACELET] at V21 if you continue along the northern path. Grab the
other items and in the tile above the [WOODEN BOX] press the hidden switch. Go
through the portal and defeat the Small Herders. Pick up the [MOLE JERKY], 2
[CROSSBOW QUARREL], and 2 [THROWING AXES].

 Press the runic symbol at N28 then pick up the four [FROST BOMBS]. Now make
your exit from the Maze at the northwest with all your goodies in hand.

Pits and a Lock
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
 Watch out for the Uggardian as you pass through this next area. Enter the room
and step on the pressure plate to release Slimes all around. Defeat them and
pick up the [BOILED CRAG BEETLE], [DIVINER'S CLOAK], and [IRON KEY]. Use the
key to gain passage through the top area, but fall into the southern pit first.
Pick up the [BRACELET OF TIRIN] then use the portal to return to the top.

 Cross over to the eastern side and rid it of Uggardians. Press the switch and
dodge the fire bolt, then quickly move back up and over to the switch to dodge
the second one. This will grant you further access into the eastern halls. Move
through the Slime filled room to the east where you'll find the [FIRE TORC] and
a Crystal of Life.

Spectral Orb Puzzle
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
 In the hallway to the south, pull the handle to open the gate. Stepping on the
pressure plates will fire an orb that must hit the receptacle on the wall. This
is something you've done in the past, just work on the timing. A wall opens up
and you will face three Uggardians. Enter the room and grab [TOORUM'S NOTE] then
move behind the barriers to find a [SCROLL OF INVISIBILITY] and the [SHAMAN
STAFF].

The Boots of Valor
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
 Head north and instead of taking the portal, drop into the pit. The pressure
plates trigger poison orbs to come flying your way, and they litter the entire
room. Move up a row as far as you can then dodge to the left or right, being
patient so you don't get hit. At the far end you can claim the [BOOTS OF VALOR]
for your own. Pull the lever and defeat the enemies that chase you down, then
use the portal to go back up top. Take the portal across, then hop back in the
potal to go to another room with a [SACK].

Lever Puzzle and Pit Puzzle
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
 Take the portal across this time and defeat the slime. In the lever room you
will find 5 levers. From left to right, have them Up, Up, Down, Up, Down (you
should hear 3 clicks in total) to reach the [ASSASSIN'S DAGGER]. Move up to the
next room, a pit puzzle. The Daemon Statue fires a spectral orb to the
receptacle on the far side. Each hit either opens or closes the trapdoors. Start
by grabbing the [BRACE OF FORTITUDE] that's to the right of the entrance of the
pits.

 Now, move to the north center so that you block the orb from hitting the
receptacle. Dash to the northwest and press the hidden switch. You'll likely
fall and have to fight an Ogre in the pits. Just climb the stairs back up to
fight the two Uggardians now. Time your movements and cross into the opening
you created to leave the puzzle room.

To the Dismantler Vault
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
 Move through the hallways to the southern end. Defeat the Uggardian and snag
the [FLAIR] amongst the other items. Press a runic symbol at C11 then move
quickly to G15. This will get the secret but for now there are other things to
tackle.

The Iron Door
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
 Instead of going south in the final hallway, continue east. In this room you
are ambushed by three Uggardians. Pull the handle to reach the exit of the
level, but first grab the [SKULL]. Around the corner you notice the Daemon
Statues will start firing spectral orbs. Do not let any of them hit the
receptacles. Strafe and be nimble; when the barrage is over the Iron Door opens
to reveal the [CHITIN BOOTS] and [SCROLL OF ENCHANT FIRE ARROW]. You may now
leave to level 8.

A Quick Exit...

 Start off by picking up the [SCROLL OF SHOCK SHIELD] and 2 [CAVE NETTLE]. Hit
the hidden switch on the wall here then defeat the Giant Spider in the newly
opened area. Pick up the [BLUEBERRY PIE], [GRIM CAP], and [MILKREED] then back
out. Move to the Crystal of Life then pick up the [NOTE] on the other side of
the barrier. Follow the path to a [CAVE NETTLE], the Iron Door, and the way down
to level 9. You can take this path if you so choose, however you'll miss out on
the Dismantler and all the other things this floor will bring. Re-enter this
floor from the secret entrance at level 7 if you so choose.

Lightning Conduit
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
 By entering via the secret path from level 7, you wind up on the right side
of the portcullis. Use the nearby lever to grant access to the northern half.
Move east and press the switch then kill the Uggardian and Ogre. Move through
the lightning conduit, taking the first room on the left. Snag the [BAKED
MAGGOT] and defeat the Uggardian. Search the area for three [LIGHTNING BOMBS]
then look for a lever.

 Exit back out then down the hall, turning north when you get the chance.
Destroy the Spider Eggs and note the hidden switch, for now let it be. Into the
next room you'll find Giant Spiders and an Uggardian. Pull the lever and cross
the conduit once more to find three Uggardians and one Giant Spider.

Secrets of the Lightning Conduit
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
 Go back to the northern room and press hidden switches at X10, Z07, and c09.
Place any items you want on the pressure plates that are now accessible. Enter
the northeast area now to find [PLATE GAUNTLETS] and [PLATE BOOTS]. In the
southern chambers pull the switch and press the hidden switch at Z17. This will
let you exit near the end of the conduit. Do so and strafe left coming out to
find an inconspicuous hidden switch at b12.

 Move to the end of the conduit and secure the three [LIGHTNING BOMBS] then
turn into the new passage. Defeat the Ogre and pick up the [GEAR KEY] and the
[LIGHTNING ROD] then return to the Iron Door to claim the [HELMET OF VALOR] and
four [FROST QUARRELS].

Hallways and Toorum's Note
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
 Return to the Lightning Conduit and take the southern path you'd opened up
earlier. Take the eastern path to some [THROWING AXES] then the western path
to [FROST ARROWS] and [TOORUM'S NOTE]. Pull the lever at the end of the tunnel
and prepare to face Uggardians and Ogres. Move to the portal at the southeast
and be ready to fight off a bunch of Herders. After the fight, scour the area
for notable items, like two [BRASS KEYS] and the fourth [SKULL]. Use one key
to enter the portal and another to move through the western door.

Pressure Plates and Uggardians
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
 Seek out the pressure plates in this new area and place objects on them. On
the fourth plate, you'll encounter 4 Giant Spiders and an Uggardian as the
center opens up. Flip the lever and enter the next room where more enemies greet
you. Collect the items around the room then press the hidden switch at I19. Move
north to the [WOODEN BOX] then head to the northwest.

Pits and a Pesky Spider
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
 In this next room you should just jump down into a pit. Kill the Giant Snail
and collect some valuable food then pop back up. Kill the Giant Spider here and
hit the lever. Press hidden switches at C08 and E11 then move to the end of the
vault.

The Dismantler
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
 Enter the final room then snag the torch in the back. Place it on the altar
with the sword then take [THE DISMANTLER] for your own. Press a hidden switch
in the corner to open up a small area that contains the [GOLDEN DRAGON]. You are
now free to leave The Vault, with all of it's treasures in hand.

Preparation
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
 To reach certain secrets in the Goromorg Temple, be it the first or second,
you'll want to have a Skull, two Rocks, three Torches, some Arrows/Quarrels,
and a Bone Amulet. You should have most items and if you are short you can
always backtrack or pick up a few along the way.

Holy Scriptures Chamber
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
 Move through the hall and note the banners. These can be destroyed and more
often then naught, have a secret or item behind them. Defeat the Uggardian then
move to E11 to find [PITROOT BREAD] behind a banner. Destroy another banner at
G14 to find a hidden switch that opens the door nearby. Kill the Uggardian here
and pick up the [ORNATE KEY] it leaves behind. Snag the two [SCROLLS] while you
are at it, one of which is critical for a puzzle further ahead.

Checkered Room
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
 This room has a simple puzzle. As the name implies, you must place items on
the pressure plates in a checkered pattern. Start with the one infront of the
exit then work your way back. You can pick up a [SCROLL] at K09, but it's not
necessary by any means.

Armory and a Hallway
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
 This room is reached by going west at the split. Defeat the Uggardian then
raid the room. Hit the hidden switch at F01, kill the Uggardian, then pick up
the [NORJA]. Move east now, through a hallway that has a knack for turning you
around. Take it slowly and when you seem to change direction, pull open the map
to continue down the hall.

Temple Grounds
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
 This area is littered with Ice Lizards that continually respawn. They serve as
a good form of food and one even drops a [GOLD KEY]. Search the area for the
[CIRCLET OF WAR] (found at c02) and 2 [LIGHTNING BOMBS]. Your goal is to reach
a lever at Y14, which opens Q15 where you'll find the [SCROLL OF LIGHTNING BOLT]
if you didn't know it already.

 Go to Q07 and press the hidden switch then move to R06 to claim the [PIT
FIGHTER GLOVES], [LIGHTNING BOMB], and [FIRE BOMB]. Move to the southeast where
you'll reach a door that is opened with the Ornate Key.

Outer Sanctum
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
 Enter the room and kill the Uggardians. Press the switch at Z23 to open the
door again. Take the north portal until you find a [SCROLL]. The clue is the
"3, 2, 1, 3" that it reads. Take the west, north, south, then west portals to
be teleported to a new area. Place an object on the pressure plate you are
standing on then move forward. The next trapdoor opens and closes periodically,
so time your movements. Place an object through the bars onto another pressure
plate.

 Move into this area now and hit the lever. On the pressure plate in this
segment you can spot a hidden switch, press it when the trapdoor it up to make
crossing that much simpler. Move past the portal to another lever then cross
back to an [ORNATE KEY].

The Cuirass of Valor
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
 Fall into the pit where you previously had the trapdoor closed. Place a torch
in each of the three sconces and throw a rock from Q15 to the north and to the
east. Enter the room to find the [CUIRASS OF VALOR], the best armor in the
game.

Pillared Hallway
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
 Return to main hallway and continue south. Take a detour to find a [TAR BEAD]
then approach the Pillared Hallway. The note you picked up earlier is the key
to this hallway:

 "Two times left She slithers, Once right, Once left, Three times right and
twice more is left. This She repeats twice."

 Follow those directions as you move west down the hall, either on the left or
right side as the note describes. Once you reach the end of the hallway the
spell that made the hallway so confusing is now dispelled.

Toorum's Note and a New Enemy
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
 Move through the halls to T24 where you'll find a [ROCK] and [TOORUM'S NOTE].
Next head to W25 where you'll find two Shrakk Torr and the final piece of
the Lurker set, the [LURKER HOOD], hiding behind the center banner. Now, head to
the northern part of these halls. Press a hidden switch at Q20 to reach the
[BOOK OF INFINITE WISDOM].

The Center Rises
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
 If you've picked up the items around this central area, the walls should now
rise giving access to the [SULPHUROUS POTION] and the western wing. Use the
Crystal of Life then solve the riddle by placing items on the shelves:

"Game's Bane, with head of steel" - Arrow/Quarrel
"Tear of the Land" - Rock
"Severed Dread" - Skull
"Unraveller of Mysteries" - Key

 Once the door is opened you can retrieve any items you've placed.

Treasury and the Iron Door
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
 Move ahead to another [SCROLL] then west into the Treasury. You have the
choice of:

- Book of Infinite Wisdom
- Plate Greaves, Frost Bomb x2
- Flarefeather Cap, Serpent Bracer

 Leave the room and head to the Iron Door. Place a Bone Amulet on the shelf to
raise the Iron Door and acquire [ZHANDUL'S ORB]. Use the Ornate Key to enter a
spiraling hallway that has Ogres. Defeat them and head onward to level 10.

Secret #64 - Place the Red Gem on the shelf behind the banner near the Iron
             Door to have it open. Claim the [CROOKHORN LONGBOW] and a
             [THROWING AXE] as your reward.
Secret #65 - Fall into the pit at f14 and upon fighting your way back up the
             steps grab the [SHIELD OF THE ELEMENTS].
Secret #66 - Hit the hidden switch at W21 then claim [TOORUM'S NOTE], some
             [FIRE QUARRELS], and two [BLOODDROP BLOSSOMS] from behind.
Secret #67 - Press a hidden switch at Q05 to find the final resting place of
             Toorum at T08.
Secret #68 - Fall into the pit at S03 to find the [ICEFALL HAMMER].
Secret #69 - Press a hidden switch at R10 to remove the center portal. Fall
             into the pit to find a [SACK] and [SCALED CLOAK].

Keys and a Spectral Orb
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
 Start off by turning left out and around to a [ROUND KEY]. Return to the
entrance and go the other way, using the lever to raise the portcullis. Pick up
the [BAKED MAGGOT] and destroy the banner on the central wall. Use the Round
Key at this location then be ready to face off against some enemies. Acquire the
three [TAR BEAD] then move to the center. Destroy another banner and press the
switch. Move into the next room and defeat the Shrakk Torr, then continue south.

 Pick up [TOORUM'S NOTE] then head into the southern area with the statues.
Destroy the banners then move the [RED GEM] to the other shelf in the wall.
Place an object on the pressure plate then you can move south to another [ROUND
KEY]. As you come around the corner use the lever then slay the Uggardian and
two Shrakk Torr; pick up the [GAUNTLETS OF VALOR].

 Use the Round Key at L24 to find more enemies in waiting, but more importantly
the receptacle for the spectral orb. Pick up the [MOLE JERKY] then move back to
the center. Use the two switches to fire the spectral orb then quickly raise
the second gate for it to reach the receptacle. This will grant passage to the
Inner Sanctum.

Inner Sanctum
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
 Before moving on, retrieve the Red Gem. Inside, you'll face two Goromorgs.
They cast potent magic and can take a hit with that huge shield. Kill them then
enter the western room. Loot the room then press the switch to spawn a portal
in the center. Unfortunately, you've also released three more Goromorgs. Defeat
them and search the eastern room for some [CROSSBOW QUARRELS] then enter the
portal.

Iron Door and Completion of Valor
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
 You arrive in a safe zone, with a Crystal of Life nearby. Tear down the banner
near the Iron Door and place the Red Gem to have it open. Exit at the southeast
using the switch on the wall. Defeat the Goromorgs and snag the [CAVE NETTLE]
before going north. Defeat another Shrakk Torr then turn left, opening the door
to fight two more. The battle is worth it as you acquire the final piece of
Valor in this room, the [GREAVES OF VALOR].

Item Hunting
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
 Continue your journey east then north to a [LONGSWORD]. Raise the portcullis
into the next room and deal with the enemies here. Pick up the two [SHURIKEN]
then move north to find [FROST BOMBS] and [POISON BOMBS]. Fall into the pit at
the east side and slay the Giant Crabs. Pick up the items around the room then
go up the steps to find the [SHIELD OF THE ELEMENTS]. Continue west after
raising another portcullis.

 Press a hidden switch at W21 then turn around to claim two [BLOODDROP
BLOSSOMS], four [FIRE QUARRELS], and one of [TOORUM'S NOTES]. To the west you
can pick up a [FULL HELMET], if you need it. Move north where you'll have to
absorb a lightning orb and are presented with two paths.

The Shrine
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
 Move into this area and grab the [THROWING AXES] in the corner. The room is
either simple and rewarding or difficult. Pick up the [ORNATE KEY] to spawn
several vicious monsters or place an item on the altar first then retrieve the
key to leave peacefully.

The Caverns
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
 This section is much larger then the Shrine was. Take out the Scavengers and
the Ogres as you move through this area. Pick up the items you find then press
a hidden switch at Q05. Move to U08 to acquire two of [TOORUM'S NOTES], a
[PHALANX HELMET], [HARDSTONE BRACELET], [ANCIENT AXE], [TATTERED CLOAK], and
the [REMAINS OF TOORUM]. Snag another one of [TOORUM'S NOTES] at L02 then enter
the northern room nearby.

 Defeat the Ice Lizards and claim the [THROWING AXE]. Move to the southern
room opposite this one and defeat the Scavengers then claim the final [TOORUM'S
NOTE]. Fall into the pit at S03 to where you can make your way to the [ICEFALL
HAMMER]. You'll have to fight your way out now, eventually through a bunch of
Slimes. You can find a [SKULL] and various other items before returning to floor
10. Stand on the pressure plate to notice you are on the west side of the
Caverns.

 Slay another Ogre and group of Scavengers, then note the puzzle that must be
solved. The levers along the top should read, from left to right: Down, Down,
Up, Down, Up. This will let you grab the [ORNATE KEY] but it also releases
several Goromorgs through out the level.

Toorum's Revival and The Prison Key
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
 Take the [REMAINS OF TOORUM] to the Crystal of Life and "drop" them onto it.
A chime will signal the completion of the act. This not only gets an
achievement but allows you to play as Toorum in a different playthrough. See
section [0704] for more details. Use the Ornate Keys to enter the next room.
Press a hidden switch at R10 and jump down the pit to find a [SACK] and a
[SCALED CLOAK]. Return to the room and enter the portal this time. Pick up the
[PRISON KEY] and move down to level 11, officially.

The Mechanism
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
 After a quick exit from level 11 you reach the Prison. This level will also
be short and require you to return to it. Move up and use the Prison Key to
receive a cryptic message. Defeat the Goromorg and snag a [SCROLL] from the
east side of the room. At the west you'll find Wardens, the giant mechanic
juggernauts wielding flails. Kill them one at a time then move to the center
and click the mechanism for another message. Your only way to progress is down,
so pick a pit to reach level 13 (choose the one at L03 though).

hallway and pick up the [STEEL GEAR]. Next, move south to find a [SACK] and some

an [INFUSER] in the wall. Move northeast fromt here to find the final piece, the
[BLADED GEAR]. You can use the portal now if you wish and return to level 12.

Switches and Secrets
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
 If you opted to stay then seek out some switches. Start a P23 where this
switch will open an eastern passage to some food and [FIRE BOMBS]. Next, hit a
switch at Q18 and go to the northeast to claim a [WOODEN BOX]. The last switch
is critical as it grants access to the northern section, it's at A10. Move
to the northern section now. Kill the Giant Spiders and move to T07 to find a
[WOODEN BOX] and a switch.

 Head to L07 and grab the [GLOBE OF TETHARION] then continue north. You'll
encounter a Giant Crab here that will drop a [GOLD KEY], be sure to grab it.
Get the two [ICE LIZARD STEAKS] then enter the western room. Use the Crystal of
Life and grab the treasures then use the portal in the entrance room.

The Tomb of Designers
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
 Return to level 12 and place the items you obtained into the mechanism:

North - Orb
East  - Bladed Gear
South - Infusor
West  - Steel Gear

 Quickly move to S13 and take the portal. Go up the steps in this area to
return to level 11. Note the hidden switch to your right, press it then cross
the pressure plate to release gas into the hall. There are two more hidden
switches at the end of the hall near the door. Move to the east hall and press
the runic symbol at S20 to open up a hidden room with the [GOROMORG MINIATURE]
inside. Move through the hallway and snag the [ORNATE KEY] then place items on
the pressure plates coming back to avoid taking damage.

 Head to the west and shoot/throw something past the portal to the pressure
plate. Now strafe to the portal spot, facing west, and quickly press the
hidden switch to raise the second trapdoor. Cross over to grab the second
[ORNATE KEY]. Open the central door and kill the Uggardian. Pick up the
[SCROLLS] then clear all sources of light. Claim the [WEAPON OF POWER] then
return to the Undying.

The Undying
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
 The object of the fight is to hit the Undying with the Weapon of Power. This
stuns the foe and lets you move in to snag a piece of it's assembly. You'll
have to repeat this act four times to render the Undying vulnerable to normal
attacks. The trick is to stay mobile and avoid the pits/monsters in the room
since the Undying's only attack is rolling on top and crushing you. Any enemies
you defeat have a chance of dropping keys that will give access to side rooms
that have goodies.

Secret #01 - In the very first room search the south wall (D09) for a hidden
             switch. This opens a secret room at C10 containing [LURKER BOOTS]
             and a [SHURIKEN].
Secret #02 - Press the hidden switch on the northern wall of G09 to raise a
             secret wall. Head to H04 to acquire a [DAGGER], [TAR BREAD], and
             two [CAVE NETTLES].
Secret #03 - This is obtained by opening the Iron Door by using the hidden
             switches on the north end of E13 and east end of F15. Move into
             the room at D14 to find a [WHITEWOOD WAND] and a [SCROLL].

Secret #08 - Stand facing the Daemon statue at T09 for ~15 seconds and the
             Iron Door will open, thrusting you into combat with Skeleton
             Warriors and hiding the [FIRE BOMBS].
Secret #09 - Use the hidden switch at O13 to open up the adjacent wall. Kill
             the Skeleton Warrior then pick up the [WOODEN BOX].

Secret #10 - Press the hidden switch at C31 then at E31. Throw the Shuriken
             across the way to raise the trapdoors and claim the [SHORT BOW]
             and [BROADHEAD ARROWS].
Secret #11 - Press the hidden switch at J17 then hit the switch above the
             second trapdoor quickly. Take the portal at J20 to a [TOME OF
             HEALTH] and a [SHURIKEN].
Secret #12 - Drop into the pit at J18 then place an object on the pressure
             plate. Hit the hidden switch at S16 then place two more objects
             on each of the pressure plates behind the portculli. Move across
             to claim your prize, the [SERPENT BRACER].
Secret #13 - After claiming the previous secret, press the switch at S16
             again then move through the portal to find a [SCROLL OF
             INVISIBILITY].
Secret #14 - Sacrifice the Silk Hose at c21 to receive the [NOMAD MITTENS].
Secret #15 - Place torches on the sconces at V17 and Z17. Use the lever at T15
             then backtrack to the portal room, moving through the Iron Door
             to find a [HUNTSMAN CLOAK].
Secret #16 - When you release the Giant Spiders at L09 backtrack to T03 to
             find a new path opened up with [TAR BEADS]. Use the Hidden Switch
             to gain a secondary path to Level 4.
Secret #17 - Use the Gold Key to open the Gold Door and obtain the [RING BOOTS]
             and [KNOFFER MACE].

Secret #19 - In the "Time and Tide" section use the portal to warp to I16 and
             claim the [BOOK OF INFINITE WISDOM].
Secret #20 - In the "Time and Tide" section as you cross the moving bridge,
             use the hidden switch on the right side of the second tile then
             enter the right passage to find the [CHITIN MASK].
Secret #21 - Press the hidden switch at G30 and defeat the Skeleton Warrior.
             Pick up the [SACK] and [BONE NECKLACE] in the adjacent tile.
Secret #22 - Press the hidden switch at I27 then move to G23 to find a group
             of Skeleton Warriors. Pick up the [FIRE BOMB] and [FLAREFEATHER
             CAP] as your prize.
Secret #23 - Press the hidden switch at c28 then move to Z28 to acquire the
             [VENOM EDGE].
Secret #24 - Press the hidden switch at b23 then at X26 and drop into the
             central hole. Pick up the [GEAR KEY] then use it on the Iron Door
             at Q06 to find [CHITIN GREAVES].
Secret #25 - Press the hidden switch at d09 and acquire the [GREEN GEM]. Feed
             it to the Daemon Statue to enter a secret room where you can find
             2 [POISON BOMBS], a [CROSSBOW], a 6 [POISON QUARRELS].

             the lever again, then press the left button. Defeat the Herders
             and move inside to find a [HERDER CAP] and [CONJURER'S HAT].
Secret #29 - Press the hidden switch at U17 to reach the [FIST DAGGER].
Secret #30 - Rest at N16 to open the Iron Door. Enter it's chamber to find the
             [LURKER VEST].
Secret #31 - Press the lever to open the Deserted Tunnel path then dash to J03
             to collect the [HUNTSMAN CLOAK], 3 [FIRE ARROWS], and [GRIM CAP].
Secret #32 - Press the hidden switch at B10 then make your way around the

Secret #33 - Place a torch in the sconce at V19 to open up a secret room just
             above. Defeat the Skeleton Warrior and pick up the 2 [FIRE BOMBS].
Secret #34 - Press the hidden switch at V16 then stand on the pressure plate in
             the next room. Place an item in the portal then continue to the
             end of the hall and snag the [ORB OF RADIANCE].
Secret #35 - Go clockwise around the Walkabout several times. You'll obtain
             a [ROCK], battle a Skeleton Warrior, and acquire a [SACK] with
             a [SPEED POTION] inside.
Secret #36 - Press the hidden switch at D01 then move to D05 to collect the
             [SPIRIT MIRROR PENDANT].
Secret #37 - Press the hidden switch at Y05 then move to W01. Defeat the group
             of Skeleton Warriors and claim your prize, a [HEAVY SHIELD] and
             pair of [RING BOOTS].
Secret #38 - Press the hidden switch at b08 then move to e15 where you'll
             encounter a group of Skeleton Archers. Dismantle them and pick
             up the nearby [FROSTBITE NECKLACE].
Secret #39 - Fall into the pit at M24 to reach the [LURKER PANTS] and a
             [SHURIKEN].
Secret #40 - Place items on the pressure plate on level 8 to gain access to
             the [FULL HELMET].
Secret #41 - Press the hidden switch at O28 then another at O31, then a final
             one at N31. This grants access to a set of stairs in the previous
             nook. Simply going up the stairs triggers the secret but the prize
             is after defeating the Uggardians, a [PLATE CUIRASS] and [PLATE
             GAUNTLETS].
Secret #42 - Press the runic symbol at D18 to trigger this secret.
Secret #43 - Press the switch in the Puzzle Room to start the puzzle then hit
             the ones on the east, west, north, and south sides in that order.
             Enter D32 to obtain the [SWORD OF NEX] and [RING MAIL].
Secret #44 - Open the Iron Door and enter the room to find the [CHITIN MAIL].

             Head to f31 to find 3 [THROWING KNIVES], [RING GREAVES], and a
             [BATTLE AXE].
Secret #46 - Press the hidden switch at T28 and enter the portal. Kill the
             Small Herders and grab the [MOLE JERKY], 2 [CROSSBOW QUARREL],
             and two [THROWING AXES].
Secret #47 - Press the runic symbol at N28 then pick up the four [FROST
             BOMBS].
Secret #48 - Fall into the pit at P18 and collect the [BRACELET OF TIRIN].
Secret #49 - In the room south of the Slime Room step on the pressure plates
             to let the spectral orb hit the receptacle on the wall. Claim your
             reward, the [SHAMAN STAFF] on the other side of the barrier.
Secret #50 - Fall into the pits in the room north of the Crystal of Life. Here
             you must navigate to the far side to claim the [BOOTS OF VALOR].
Secret #51 - Set the levers in the lever puzzle room to Up, Up, Down, Up, Down
             to gain access to the [ASSASSIN'S DAGGER].
Secret #52 - Press the runic symbol at C11 then dash to G15 to access the
             Vault of the Dismantler.
Secret #53 - In the final room, stop the spectral orbs from reaching the
             receptacles to open the Iron Door. Inside you'll find the [CHITIN
             BOOTS] and [SCROLL OF ENCHANT FIRE ARROW].

Play as Toorum
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
 After finding all of Toorum's Notes and picking up his remains on level 10,
you can use the remains on a Crystal of Life. This "revives" Toorum and unlocks
the achievement for these sequence of events. Start up a new game and enter the
name Toorum for your first character and hit enter. The game starts and you
become Toorum, journeying through the dungeon alone.
