SPOILER WARNING:
All info contained below are spoilers for the game Icewind Dale 2.
I've tried to give as little info as possible, but just knowing
the areas, and who you might be looting can give away a lot.
Don't blame me.
INTRO:
This list is an attempt to document all fixed wizard scroll locations.
There have been some fairly vocal complaints that the arcane scroll
distribution in Icewind Dale 2 is all screwed up, and this started out
as my attempt to just see how bad it really is. Read and make your own
determination.
Notes:
- The list is broken down by area rather than chapter, because you can
get back to some areas in subsequent chapters.
- Some scrolls are included in the random loot tables, but I've found
that to be fairly rare. I have included those scrolls that I've
confirmed to be random, and designated them with a *. (I've only had
a chance to verify randomness through SHAENGARNE BRIDGE.)
- For the chapters I've covered completely I've attempted to pickpocket
and/or kill everyone and loot every container so that I don't miss
anything. You'll have to decide on your own whether a scroll is
worth the hassle of aquiring it.
- There really are that few scroll drops in chapter 4.
- This list was started on my second run through the game with an all
drow party.
- Some of the info is pulled from going back to autosaves with my first
party. (Chapter 3 and on.)

- When the patch is released I'll do chapter 3. While waiting for the
patch, I'll either document battle squares more, or load up my
autosave for Chapter 6.

CHAPTER 3 AREAS
(WANDERING VILLAGE THRU THE RIVER CAVES)
Haven't had a chance to go thru this yet, but don't miss the
scrollcase. That's where most of the spells you get in this area are.
THE FELL WOOD, LIMHA'S HOUSE
Scroll Merchants : Limha (up to 5th level)
NOTE: All of Limha's stock is in the scrollcase. If you buy a scroll
from her, you'll get another copy in the scrollcase. So if you only
have one wizard, don't waste your money. If you have multiple wizards
you're trying to outfit this is a good way to get duplicate scrolls.
