THE STORY THE DRAGON'S LEGACY

The world of Nimoa is as beautiful as the morning dew, but only at first
glance.
Under the surface of hills and fertile valleys lurks an old and eternal evil.
Living as a mould, stretching threads through an infected area like deadly
toadstools. The center of this "being?" deep in the under world is the giant
daemon, Skarborr.

In deceptive times of peace, this unseen matted tangle of threads, lies
dormant,in a state of sleep until it breaks through the Earth's surface and
like a toadstool produces caps from which uncountable, no not spores, but
dangerous and nauseating monsters appear to serve only the wishes of Skarborr
and spread themselves across the planet.

Opposed to the shadowy, subterranean existence of Skarborr is the might
of that divine species the dragon, not the storybook dragons of old, but
the lords of the skies and the earth.

The humans who had to fight for their existence in Nimoa paid homage to
and worshipped their dragons and their dragon god, Ungh-Agor.
In the fight against Skarborr man and dragon stood side by side, especially
the Ungh-Agorites, members of a religious order of magicians who would fly
into battle on carpets with the ability to fly.

There were long and bloody wars, which became longer and bloodier every time
they broke out and finally, but finally the dragons and humans won
the overhand. A long period of peace rested over Nimoa. The towns built by
the humans flourished and slowly but surely the people forgot about the
terrible wars of their ancestors.

Time and history passed, the dragons withdrew into their own spheres and
eventually left the land of Nimoa and the humans to themselves. Before
the dragons left, the Dragon God, Ungh-Agor left the humans with a horrific
prophecy and a legacy. The prophecy told of past times and of the return of
Skarborr from the void that he was banished to. The bequest or legacy of the
dragons was an egg, a dragon's egg, an egg, which Ungk-Agor placed in a
well-hidden nest in a forgotten, old stone temple. These old holy places
usually have an exceptional flow of Earth energy and these
conditions would ensure that a very exceptional dragon would develop and hatch
from this one egg. This dragon would come to the aid of the humans when
he was needed the most.

The evil of Skarborr did eventually return as predicted. The Ungh-Agorites
did not hesitate to gather their forces and began the hopeless fight against
the might of Skarborr, but always with one eye on the horizon, scouring
the skies for some sign of their savior, the long awaited dragon of the legends.

                            3. -  Walkthrough
                         --------------------------
===============================================================================
Some basic strategies for IOTD & Tips people have emailed me.

Basic strategies emailed by Isocryd:

1)Have you noticed that you can
fly higher or lower when you are casting? Instant-hit,
status, healing and homing spells are not affected at
all, but it seems to affect accuracy of other spells
like fireball or demolition sphere. This is especially
useful if you are casting a much needed healing spell
or a summon in the middle of a firefight.

2)Homing attacks.
If you are being followed by a homing spell, you can
dodge them, but not outrun them. To dodge one, try
flying up/down and turning. If the blast comes from
your right, fly towards your right, if it comes from
your left, turn left.
If you are caught casting or frozen, it's a sure hit,
so get the healing/teleport spell ready.

                            3. -  Walkthrough
                         --------------------------
===============================================================================
You have all been waiting for this section. ;)
I advise everyone to use the walkthrough as a "Last Resort" because it spoils
the fun of the game. (Of course you don't care ^-^)
Note: Because none of the missions got a name, I invented one myself. The
missions are ordered chronologically.

===============================================================================
                         --------------------------
                            To the 4th Level...
                         --------------------------
===============================================================================
"At last! Our savior from the ancient prophecy and legends has come to fulfill
the prophecy. You have arrived just in time. While this area is already
occupied by the monsters of Hell, they are not as vicious as the ones you are
going to face later on, so it is still relatively safe here. Now is the time
to practice your powers and polish your skills. Feel free to kill as many
monsters and to destroy as many of their lairs as you can. Achieve the 4th
experience level and I will then tell you what to do next."

Mission Description:
Kill as many monsters and destroy as many of their lairs as you can.
Achieve the 4th experience level to continue. Try to gather the crystals by
grabbing them from above the destroyed lairs (right-click on them).

Your very first quest...(Yay! exiting) : You have to advance to level 4. (D'oh
boring!) This should be no problem for anyone if you played the tutorial. just
kill some creatures or destroy some building to gain Experience points.
(Or do both) When you reached level 4 the magician on the flying carpet will
come back to you.

Rewards: -Access to the Golden Woods area.

===============================================================================
                         --------------------------
                            Travel to the King
                         --------------------------
===============================================================================
"That is enough for now. I wish there was more time for you to practice, but
time is of the essence and we have none to spare. Use your map to travel to
the Golden Woods. Fly to the town there and meet the King."

Mission Description:
Use your map to travel to Golden Woods. Fly to our town there and meet
the King.

At the bottom of your screen you should get a message telling you the Golden
Woods area is now available.  Click the line and you will be transported there.
Alternatively, press "," (Default) to bring up the large map and click Golden
Woods (West). The town is located in the north. (It's a green dot on your map.)
Just fly towards the town and the King will start talking to you.

Rewards: -A conversation with the king. ;)

===============================================================================
                         --------------------------
                            Destroy their lairs...
                         --------------------------
===============================================================================
"The dragon! Well,I cannot say that I ever believed in old the Prophecy,
but the magicians seem to have pulled it off. And about time too. We had given
up all hope. This city is the last stronghold of humanity. The beasts have
already advanced deep within our territory and are killing and plundering.
We need your help badly. Destroy all lairs! I will wait here for your return."

The guy is obviously happy to see you, so make him even more happy by
destroying the lairs of the monsters. If you picked the Magician dragon just use
Energy Arrow on them for some easy kills. Or with the Necromancer use Small
Crater and use some Fly-By-Breathing. While doing this, don't forget to pick up
the floating crystals above the lairs, these are very useful later in the game.

Rewards: -Extra Spell Slot
        -3000 Experience Points
        -Access to the Holes area

===============================================================================
                         --------------------------
                               Kill Tokolosh
                         --------------------------
===============================================================================
"You are truly our savior! Destroying all those lairs has afforded some
breathing space for us but we really should expand and gather strength by
building more towns. Unfortunately, the magical artifact that we used has been
stolen by the evil Tokolosh. Travel to the Hole area and hunt him down - an
easy task, as the giant monstrosity is swathed flames. Killing him is another
matter entirely: his powers are immense and you can only get our artifact from
his lifeless body."

Mission Description:
Travel to Hole, kill the evil Tokolosh and get the artifact from his body.

This is a rather easy quest. If you aren't sure if you are strong enough or if
you picked the weaker dragon (Barroth) you can always kill some monsters of
destroy more lairs. Tokolosh is located in the southeast near the large blue
pillar, it shouldn't be a problem to find him. (He is the largest creature
on the map) Just kill him and take the artifact from his body when he died
(Right-click).

Rewards: -The ability to build towns.

===============================================================================
                         --------------------------
                        Build Town and destroy Lairs
                         --------------------------
===============================================================================
"With this artifact you have gained the ability to build towns. There is a
special place in every area where the Earth Magic is especially strong. They
are seen as large blue Energy Pillars. You must build towns there. Approach
the pillar and press the build button. And don't forget to clear the area of
enemy lairs - they won't reappear while the Earth Magic is controlled by the
town altar."

Mission Description:
Find the Energy Pillar in the Hole area and build a town. Then destroy all
lairs there.

Another easy quest. Go near the blue pillar and press the build button (B).
A new town should appear. For the second part of this quest you should destroy
all the  lairs on this map. This shouldn't be hard, just apply the same
strategy as before.

Rewards: - 20 Speed Points
        - Access to the North Star area

===============================================================================
                         --------------------------
                          Find the Upgrade artifact
                         --------------------------
===============================================================================
"That was very impressive. Still a small town like this one might not be able
to withstand a bigger assault and we have no time and no resources to build a
larger town by hand. There is another artifact that will allow you to
magically upgrade our towns. Travel to the North Star area. The exact location
of the artifact is unknown. There are rumors that it is hidden inside one of
the Trixxter lairs near the Earth Magic source. These fierce flying creatures
are really dangerous, so beware..."

Mission Description:
Travel to North Star and recover the town-upgrade artifact in one of the
Trixxter lairs near the Earth Magic source. Beware, though: these flying
creatures are fierce and agile.

This is the part where the game starts getting tricky, especially for the ones
that are playing with Barroth. In this area you will be attacked for the first
time by flying enemies. The easiest way to kill them is using the Breath
attacks. If they are supported by enemies from the ground, kill them first
because the ones in the air don't do much damage. Do not destroy their dead
bodies, you need those so when the town has been built, the magicians on
the carpets can start collection their souls. (So you can upgrade the town.)
The lair you should  destroy is located in the northeast near the Earth
Magic Source (the blue pillar).
The best thing to do is to fly immediately to the pillar  (Indicated as a blue
star on your Minimap). And destroy the surrounding lairs.

===============================================================================
                         --------------------------
                        Upgrade town to the 3th level
                         --------------------------
===============================================================================
"We need a town here and we need it to be strong: there are a lot of monsters
nearby. Build a town to prevent lairs regenerating, upgrade it to the 3rd
level and destroy all lairs to ensure that the townspeople can survive alone
while you plunge ahead. We'll help you by gathering souls of slain monsters
and converting them into energy to upgrade towns.

Mission Description:
Build a town in North Star, upgrade it to the 3rd level and
destroy all lairs to ensure the townspeople's safety.

Press the build button near the blue energy pillar to build a town. If the
magicians gathered enough souls you can press the build button again
(When you are near the town.) and the town will advance to a next level. To
upgrade your town you need souls. So start killing some monsters. Be sure you
don't kill really  small enemies with a huge blast so their corps will
disappear. Try to adjust your fire power to the different types of enemies.
This will also save you a lot of Breath Capacity/mana.

When your town is at level 3, the carpet guy will appear.

Rewards: None

===============================================================================
                         --------------------------
                           Demolish the meteor
                         --------------------------
===============================================================================
"Have you thought about how that crater yonder appeared? A huge meteor crashed
there many years ago. It seems to contain some strong spell that gives a keen
sense of direction to its user. You should try to destroy it and collect the
spell, but take care: the meteor is still dangerous..."

Mission Description:
"Build a town in North Star, upgrade it to the 3rd level and destroy all lairs
there to ensure the townspeople's safety. You should try to demolish the
meteor and get the spell it contains."

This is a small mission. Fly to the crater to the southwest of your town. It's
located in the center of the map. You should see some kind of glowing rock. Be
sure you don't get too close, otherwise you will lose HP. The best thing to do
is to take it out with some missile attack/spell. After you destroyed the
meteor, pick up the crystal at the bottom of the crater to obtain the spell
"Detect Lairs". It's a spell you use to detect the nearby lairs. (D'uh)

Rewards: - "Detect Lairs" spell

===============================================================================
                         --------------------------
                               Kill Quingor
                         --------------------------
===============================================================================
"Hurry! Hurry, please! A monster, a huge, ferocious beast has appeared from
nowhere in the Mediterrano area and is moving unerringly towards the nearest
settlement. It's Quingor! Kill it, save us all! You may also learn of some new
skill from its remains... And don't forget to destroy all the lairs that have
sprung in its wake like mushrooms in the rain, and kill every single monster
there."

Mission Description:
"Fly to Mediterrano and try to defeat Quingor, who is ravaging it now.
Retrieve whatever you can from its remains and destroy all lairs and kill all
monsters."

Ok. A lot of people emailed me because they had problems with this quest. Be
sure you kill Quingor, take the spell from his body AND destroy all the lairs
and enemies.
Back in the Mediterrano area. This was the first area you ever entered. The
enemies are very easy to kill, but killing Quingor is very hard. (Even for
the ones who are playing with Annoth). Try as always to keep a distance between
you and Quingor, and if you have any healing spell, use it often, because
Quingor hits a lot of damage. Especially with Barroth it should take a while to
kill him. When you finally killed him, take the artifact from his body, which
gives you the spell "Fire Stone". When you killed him be sure to fly through
the whole map and kill ALL enemies and lairs. (Yes, I know they keep
respawning, but kill them anyway.) You can also use the "Detect Lairs" spell
to check if you destroyed all the lairs.

Tip emailed by Ricodontypus:
I have found that if you stay about 10 meters away from him with the camera
behind you he goes down rather quickly. With the camera behind you, you can
see when he is about to attack and when he does just move up or down do
dodge his show and attack constantly. When you see he is getting ready to
attack again just move in the opposite direction(down or up) and keep on
attacking. Eventually, he will go down with little or no damage to you.

Thanks. :)

Rewards: - "Fire Stone" spell
        - 6000 Experience Points

===============================================================================

                    Discover what happened to the regiment
                         --------------------------
===============================================================================
"Your next destination is called Ferra. His Majesty sent a regiment there to
try and reclaim it from our adversaries, but... It has been more than a week
and no one has returned to tell us what happened. All our prayers are with
you, savior!"

Mission Description:
"Try to discover what happened to the regiment that was sent to Ferra."

You are now at Ferra. This is a very hard mission.
The best thing to do, is to fly northeast and build a town near the blue
energy pillar, then destroy. the surrounding lairs. Don't come near the tower
to the east.(The tower is marked as a red cross on your minimap.) After
you have destroyed the lairs nearby, kill the enemies near your town and
upgrade it to level 3. If a wizard shoots a yellow rocket at you, try to dodge
it, because it paralyses you. If you get hit, try hovering up and down until
you are able to fly again.

Tip emailed by Isocryd: </pre><pre id="faqspan-2">
I've found it sort of useful to leave ONE lair
standing after I've built the town. Villagers can take
care of one monster every now and then and it ensures
that souls will flow in a steady fahion. Be especially
careful about the shamans, since they can cast a
homing "slow" effect spell, and they are rarely alone.
Their huts look like a triangular tent. You may want
to destroy that first. The best way I've found to deal
with shamans is to (Blue) freeze them or to (Black)
cast wasteland (or summon zombie[s]).

Thanks. :)

Rewards: - none

===============================================================================
                         --------------------------
                       Upgrade town to the 4th level
                         --------------------------
===============================================================================
"That tower seems invulnerable and is incredibly dangerous. Let us try
to help you. Build a town, upgrade it to level 4 - we'll have a magic
academy then that has everything to it needs to devise a powerful spell
for you."

Mission Description:
Build a town, upgrade it to level 4 - we'll have a magic academy
ready that has everything it needs to devise a powerful spell for you."

Now you have a town, destroy all lairs so enemies wont respawn anymore, and
the guy on the carpet can collect souls from the bodies of the enemies, so
you can upgrade the town to level 4. Use the spell "detect lairs" to find the
lairs.

Rewards: - "Long Star" spell

===============================================================================

                             Destroy the tower
                         --------------------------
===============================================================================
"Take the spell 'Long Star' that we have devised to destroy that tower! It has
a very long range so you should be safe enough. Then go and retrieve
an artifact from  its ruins and place it on to our altar."

Mission Description:
"Destroy the evil tower, grab an artifact from its ruins and
deliver it to our altar."

Fly to the tower to the south. It is marked on your minimap as a red cross, but
don't come too near it, or it will shoot you. As soon as you can see the tower,
use the spell "Long Star" on it to destroy it. Shoot a few times with the spell
and the tower should be destroyed.

Mission Description:
"Get the artifact from the evil tower you destroyed and bring it back to
the altar - we'll research it."

In the ruins of the tower, there should be a red ball, right click on it, fly
to your town and right click the building in the middle of your town with the
red energy pillar. You should have dropped the artifact.

Rewards: - 2000 Experience Points for destroying the tower
        - "Instant Return" spell

===============================================================================
                         --------------------------
                            Find a Roadrunner
                         --------------------------
===============================================================================
"Here's the new spell that we finished with the last artifact:
'Instant Return'. Your next task is rather unusual... The King recently
declared that monsters have been misunderstood and a peaceful coexistence
is not only possible but has already been achieved somewhere nearby. We do not
know what to make of it but our Warlord wants to check it himself. He needs
a pretty special kind of mount, though, to get through enemy cordons: a
Roadrunner. There are wild roadrunners in Rockwood so you need to get
there and capture one so that we can break it in. Of course, we need
a well-grown town there to tame the beast."

Mission Description:
"The King believes that the peaceful coexistence with monsters is possible.
Capture a roadrunner in Rockwood for our Warlord who wants to check out the
situation and then build a town there."

This is a long quest, with several subquests. When you start the level,
immediately go to the earth magic pillar and build a town. Destroy the
surrounding lairs and kill some enemies so the carpet guy has some souls to
upgrade the city. You should upgrade it to level 3. Soon he will come to warn
you for the teleport.

Subquest 1: Build a town
========================
"First of all we need a town so that you have a place to bring
the roadrunner to. It should be at least level 3."

Mission Description:
"First of all we need a town so that you have a place to bring
the roadrunner to. It should be at least level 3."

Just fly to the blue energy pillar and build a town. When you have upgraded
it to level 2, the carpet guy will appear.

Subquest 2: Defend the town
===========================
"I bring bad news, savior... very bad news indeed. Skarborr has discovered the
secret of teleportation and has prepared an assault to destroy our town here.
Warning you is the only thing I can do. Survive the next night and protect us.
The town should be at level 3 at least in the morning for us to perform the
ritual that will close the portals forever."

Mission Description:
"Skarborr has prepared an assault to destroy the town. Survive
the next night and protect us. The town should be at least at
level 3 in the morning to close the portals forever."

There should appear 2 portals close to your town. One to the North
and one to the South of your town, constantly spawning enemies. Most of
the enemies are tough, it also spawns some Quingors. You should stay close
to your town and kill the enemies that come out of the portals. After you
have defeated them and upgraded the town the carpet guy will come back
to you.

Subquest 3: Eradicate the magic circle
======================================
"Thank you, o savior! Your valiant deeds have saved not just this town
but also all of us. That evil teleportation magic could have spewed out
hordes of monsters anywhere, at anytime... We can't thank you enough...
Meanwhile we have more and more trouble with the Sinister Wings
recently they even started attacking our town. We have discovered that
these creatures have pooled their magic powers and have became much
stronger. Eradicate their magic circle and use the released power."

Mission Description:
"SinisterWings have pooled their magic powers and became much
stronger. Eradicate their magic circle and use the released power."

Fly to the north. There should be 5 towers surrounded by Sinisterwings. You
have to destroy all of the towers. This is quite hard, because the
Sinisterwings will attack you. I suggest you destroy the towers from long
range with spells. Ignore the Sinisterwings. After you have destroyed the
towers, pick up the spell that's in the center of the towers. It's the spell
"Summon Sinisterwing". If you haven't upgraded your town to the 4th
level yet, do it now.

Subquest 4: Find a Roadrunner
=============================
"Now let's get back to the previous task: we already have a
level 4 town with a magic academy, so if you bring a living
Roadrunner to the altar - we'll be ready to tame it."

Mission Description:
"Bring a live Roadrunner to the
altar - mages will be ready to tame it."

A lot of people can't seem to find Roadrunners. They are green creatures with
a long tail and they stand on 2 legs. They can be found in the desert to the
west of your city. Right click one to pick it up, fly to your town and drop
the little fellow there by right clicking the building with the red energy
pillar in the center of your town.

Rewards: - "Summon Sinisterwing" spell

===============================================================================
                         --------------------------
                            Check out Wonderland
                         --------------------------
===============================================================================
"Good. This fast mount will suit just fine... Let's check what the king
said about peace and friendship with monsters. You, dragon, can't get
into Wonderland - a certain kind of magic shield stops all magic creatures
from entering. Therefore I will try to get in and discover the source
of this magic."

Mission Description:
"Check out the Wonderland area where monsters are supposed to live
in peace with humans."

This is a fun but a hard mission. You are the Warlord who rides
the Roadrunner. You only have 2 spells and they are weak and the monsters
attack you. (I though they were living in peace here?) Run to the town
and talk to the guy there.

Subquest 1: Find the hunter
===========================
"We live in peace with all beasts... It is our future... Just
one problem prevents eternal, peaceful coexistence: there is a mad hunter
nearby... He kills our friends - the beasts... He cannot accept
the new governor who guides us and tells us what to do... Find him,
make him stop and submit to our new master..."

Mission Description:
"Find the 'mad hunter' as that human called him and check out what
is happening here."

Run to the east, there should be a green dot on your minimap. Run there and
ignore the enemies.

Subquest 2: Destroy the dark building
=====================================
"So, there is a dragon that's supposed to save us all? Well, I guess
it wouldn't hurt if it tries but I don't think we have any right to ask
it to fight for us. Our ancestors did terrible, unjust things to its
forefathers and by all the rights we should be fighting our own
battles now... Well, the... things that inhabit this town don't seem
to be ready for a fight. They don't even seem to be people
anymore. I believe it's some kind of enchantment coming from that building
out there. Perhaps if you could destroy it our people would be able to look
after themselves..."

Mission Description:
"Some kind of evil magic has enslaved the local people. Free them by
destroying its source:the dark building recently erected here."

Cast the spell "Detect Special Magic" on yourself. You should see something
blue appear east of you. Run to it and ignore all enemies. Destroying the
building is quite hard, because there are a lot of enemies. Use the
spell "Paladin Power" from long range and keep running. When you have
destroyed the building, go back to the town because the monsters will
attack it.

Subquest 3: Return to the town
==============================

Mission Description:
"Get away! Get away! Humans in the town should be free from magic
now, they will help you."

When you arrive at your town, you can control the Dragon again.

Subquest 4: Free Wonderland of lairs and monsters
=================================================

"Our valiant Warlord has done his best and has succeeded in
thwarting our enemy's plans, but he's not strong enough to continue
alone. It's up to you to free this area of lairs and monsters."

Mission Description:
"Free Wonderland of lairs and monsters."

You know what to do. ;) Use the spell "Instant Return" to go back to
the town. When you have destroyed half of the lairs, the carpet guy
will come back to you.

Subquest 5: Go to the hunter
============================

"We can help you now, or so we hope. The hunter, Kindjal, who helped our
warlord found something and we hope it will be useful in eliminating
lairs here. Find him - he'll tell you everything."

Mission Description:
"Find the hunter - he has dicovered something useful."

Go to the hunter to the east of the town.

Subquest 6: Place the magic key on the altar
============================================

"So, so you are the dragon that everybody is so excited about.
You look very impressive, I must say. All those scales and horns... I hope
you are as tough your reputation. Well, let me help out with the fight
a bit. In my travels, some time ago, I found an ancient Magic Key that was
buried in one of the ruins of our ancestors' shrines. Our magicians say
that you can deliver a powerful blow to our enemies if you put it on a
special altar in the town Oazis, you can find it in the middle of the
desert. You will find the key in a place in front of my house. It
not far from here. Take it!"

Mission Description:
"Get the Magic Key from a place in front the hunter's house and put it
on a special altar in Oazis."

Pickup the key that has appeared in front of his house by right-clicking it.
Fly to the southeast. On the border of the level, you should see a small
building. When you get near, you should see something blue on your screen,
like the "Detect Special Magic" spell, right click it to drop the key.
You have cleared Wonderland of lairs.

Subquest 7: Defend the town
===========================

"Monsters, now without their lairs will try to take their
revenge upon the local town. Defend it and cleanse this area of
those ugly beasts."

Mission Description:
"Defend the local town and clean the area of monsters."

Return to your town by using the "Instant Return" spell. The town will be
attacked by alot of enemies, kill them, every monster on the map will come
to your town. The town will also shoot at them.

===============================================================================
                         --------------------------
                            Protect the caravan
                         --------------------------
===============================================================================
"The King is furious at everybody. At the Warlord, at you, at us... He says
we have destroyed everything, killed off the last hopes for humanity, the
only chance to live in peace and friendship with our good neighbors... He does
not believe a single word of the truth and seems to live in his own world.
One wonders what evil has come upon him... Well, for now we have to escort a
caravan into the Earthskull area. Protect it by all means! It is carrying some
important components for our magical research."

Mission Description:
"Protect the caravan marching through Earthskull."

This shouldn't be too hard. Just fly ahead of the caravan and attack the
lairs, so all the monsters will aim at you. Then lure them away from the
caravan. Also kill all enemies who are on the road. If you managed to protect
both Simorans, you will get 10000 Experience Points and the "Detect Monsters"
spell.
You don't need to protect both of them to complete the mission:

If you didn't manage to protect one:
"Not a single Simoran has survived the journey? What a loss.. Well...
We'll just have to work extra hard and we'll upgrade the town to level 5 anyway.
The monsters are fierce here, and we have to be strong. Not that it will be easy
now..."

If you managed to protect one:
"Thank you, thank you! Even one Simoran saved could mean the difference between
life and death! Our gratitude will be eternal."

If you managed to protect both of them:
"Incredible! We had never hoped that both Simorans would survive!
Besides oureternal gratitude, we were able to spare some ingredients for
a 'Detect Monsters' spell - here it is, use it wisely."

Isocryd emailed me:
In the caravan escort mission you
have to keep both beasts alive, right? Well, when I
first played it, I casted big crater on the lairs
right before town... One of the beasts was stuck there
for the rest of the mission. Mission will be a success
if BOTH survive, but only ONE needs to reach
town.

Thanks. :)

Subquest 1: Upgrade to the 5th level
====================================
"Upgrade the town to level 5, nothing less will survive here."

Mission Description:
"Upgrade the town in Earthskull to level 5."

You know what to do. ;)

Rewards: - 10000 Experience Points
        - "Detect Monsters" spell

===============================================================================
                         --------------------------
                        Try to intercept the caravan
                         --------------------------
===============================================================================
"Nice work. We'll manage alone for a while now. I bring some bad news,
though. We discovered, while you were rebuilding our town, that
another caravan has started from the ruins of the evil castle and is marching
towards the town in the Forest area. It is carrying something evil that has
powered the defenses of the castle until recently. You should try to
intercept it..."

Mission Description:
"A caravan carrying something evil is currently marching to the town in
Forest. You should try to intercept it."

Read below for a detailed walkthrough.

The caravan you have to intercept is to the south of the town. It shouldn't
be too hard to kill. It doesn't matter if you kill the caravan or not, you
will have to destroy the town anyway. But if you don't kill the the caravan,
the town will have towers and it will be harder to destroy. The caravan drops
a spell, but it doesn't do anything.

If you intercept the caravan:
"Great! You managed to destroy the caravan. Now destroying that evil town
itself will be a lot easier."

If you don't intercept the caravan:
"No, no! They have got away! You'll have to destroy the town itself now and it
won't be easy; those towers they built with the artifact are really dangerous!"

Mission Description:
"Destroy the enemy town - its inhabitants sold out to Skarborr."

Subquest 1: Destroy the town
============================
Destroy the town. If you use spells, aim at the center of the town to do
more damage. Destroy the surrounding lairs (except one, read below) and
build a town so they can help you to kill the enemies.

Subquest 2: Build and upgrade a town to level 5
===============================================
"It was a bad, bad place indeed! People selling out to Skarborr - bad times
indeed have come upon us... Now I understand why your kind left these beautiful
lands so many years ago, just to be as far away from us as possible... Still,
we pray for your further help: build and upgrade this human town to level 5."

Mission Description:
"Build and upgrade this town to level 5."

You need to kill a lot of enemies to upgrade it to level 5. You should keep
1 lair near your town, so the town can kill the enemies coming out of the lair
to get souls to upgrade the town. When you are level 5, the carpet guy will
come back to you.

Subquest 3: Kill the three Demonic Hunters
==========================================

"Well, mighty hunter, Kindjal, your time has come. We need your experience in
stealth and the ability to kill selectively. Our magicians have managed
to make the Zealots realize the only truth in this matter. They were
hiding in a distant monastery from the time when their sect separated
from Ungh-Agorites. Now they understand that Skarborr is our common
enemy and have decided to fight against him. Unfortunately
while walking to our town they met a group of Demonic Wizards who have
clouded their minds. Help us to free the Zealots. You should try not to
kill them; they are innocent and will wake up as soon as you destroy
their masters. We can't ask the Dragon for help - it's way too powerful
and we'll lose all our brother Zealots..."

Mission Description:
"Kill all three Demonic Wizards. Spare the Zealots if you can - they'll become
human again when their masters die. Use your magic detection ability to locate
them."

THis is a fun quest. You play as the archer, but you only have 2 spells:
"Detect Special Magic" and "Invisibility". Not much but it's all you have.
Cast "Detect Special Magic" on yourself, and you should see 3 blue spots on
your screen. After that cast "Invisibility" on yourself and walk to the nearest
spot. When you arrive at the spot, you should see the Demonic Wizard with
a golden shine around him, and a few Zealots with a white shine. When you get
near the Demonic Wizard, cast "Invisibility" on yourself, charge your bow and
shoot. You should kill the Demonic Wizard in 1 hit. As soon as you fire, you
become visible, but the Zealots are free and they will attack the enemies.
Repeat this for all 3 of the Zealots. After you have freed all the Zealots,
you will have control of the dragon again.

Mission Description:
"The Zealots are free now. Wait for the dragon."

Very detailed Forest walkthrough by Isocryd:

First of all, focus on the convoy. Summoned stuff
works wonders, especially if you use them as a
distraction.

With the black dragon use wasteland, crater, mountain,
fireball, zombie, zombies, giant insect, star of
hope/despair, earth elemental. Just don't stand still
and try to avoid breath weapons.
In theory, ravine should do wonders here, but
unfortunately it's one of the spells that I did not
purchase.

With the blue dragon use freeze, mass freeze, power
arrow, lump of ice, lightning, quick stars, war
sphere. Breath is a little more useful here, since it
will freeze a single enemy. However, I'd recomend it
as a last option.

The caravan drops a magic sphere which you have to
grab. Don't get too excited, it doesn't have any new
spells (or anything, for the matter).

Now, with the caravan gone, let's rock the town.

Note: The enemy town is like a fully functional town
of yours. It has citizens that will heal buildings, it
has working towers that can hurt pretty bad, and it
has reapers, that will harvest the dead bodies,
robbing YOUR reapers from that precious energy.

The main idea is to destroy the town center. When you
do, it will generate a shockwave that will destroy
EVERYTHING within it's radius (I don't know if it will
affect the dragon, tho).

Black dragon.
The town center cannot take a dead-on mix of mountain
and big crater, however, all the biohelecopters are a
bit of a nightmare. Your best shot in here is to use
summons as a distraction as you attack the town
center.
If you can't find enough tiem to cast anything (which
is quite likely) you may want to generate a small
distraction outside town and fire a few blasts while
flying fast and low.
However... there is nothing as gratifying as casting
both mountain AND big crater on the little cretins :)

Blue dragon.
Same deal, huh? wrong.
By this time in the game you should have Advanced
invisibility, if not, you can always kill pluchidos,
which will give you loads of experience.
Magic stones or thunderstorm do wonders against towns.
if you don't have these, you can use demolition
sphere, lump of ice, fireball, lightning, quick stars,
power arrow, energy missile.

Get as close as you can from town without being
spotted, make sure you have charged all the spells you
are going to use.
Cast advanced invisibility on yourself and fly to the
center of town.
Blast the center into bits and the town will be done
for.

With the town gone, I'd recommend to hunt down every
enemy reaper you can. They can become really annoying
when you lose that pluchido body without getting an
ounce of energy.

Now, the next step may seem a bit heartless, but I'd
recommend to build a town ASAP. Why heartless? because
it is going to be demolished almost inmediately. You
want to keep that town up so that no lairs respawn,
also, it will draw a lot of enemy fire. But THE added
bonus is that, when your town is destroyed, it will
take with it any enemy within the city's perimeter
without destroying the bodies.
Keep re-spawning the town and destroy all the lairs
near it.

Okay.... mission tells you to build a level 5 town,
but we don't WANT one yet...
Upgrade all the way to level 4.
.. and let's go lair hunting.
Make sure you destroy all the biohelecopter lairs,
also, try to get rid of all the biohelecopters. Same
thing for elephantoms, leave no one alive.

If you are patient enough, leave a single pluchido
lair at full health, but clean the rest of the area of
enemies. Why? Because they are one of the enemies that
give you the most experience and energy for your town.
Because, even tho they are quite strong, they are slow
and clumsy. as long as they stay away from town, they
pose no real threat to a talented speedflyer.

Okay... you have cleaned the whole area from enemies
and lairs, hopefully you left a single pluchido lair
standing and there is no inmedtate threat for your
town. Upgrade it to level 5.

As soon as the upgrade is done, you'll begin a
sub-mission with, yep, the archer. He has two spells,
namely detect special magic and invisibility.
*sigh* get ready for a looong walk.
Cast detect magic on yourself. Notice that there are
three blips. Follow the one  in the middle, it is
pretty close, right on the base of the mountain. The
deal here is to cloak yourself so you can kill the
zealot masters, preferably without killing the
zealots.
Remember you destroyed all the lairs in this region?
Well this place would be swarming with elephantoms,
biohelecopters and pluchidos right now, making it a
living hell.
Okay... walk towards the zealots until you see them
run towards you. Quickly cast invisibility on yourself
and draw your bow. The zealot master is the one that
has a golden shine coming out of his staff (or is it
his head?) If you have any doubts as to who to kill,
just hover your mouse over one of them. A fully
charged shot should be enough.
Now, after you fire, you'll be visible again, so you
really have one shot to kill the zealot master. Once
you kill him, the zealots will turn to your side. No,
they won't follow you (pity).
Okay, now that you freed one group of zealots, there
are two more to go... just repeat the previous
strategy. There is another group barely NE of the
mountain and there is another near the SW corner of
the map. As son as you have freed all three zealot
groups, you'll have to wait for a few sconds before
you have control of the dragon again.

Standard procedures are destroy lairs and kill enemies.

Big thanks for this one. :)

                      Raze the town in the Golden Woods
                         --------------------------
===============================================================================
"Now we have found out the truth and you won't like it. All this time
we had a snake coiled and ready to strike, close to our own hearts: His
Majesty, The King himself has been behind all this... He has supported
Skarborr all along. When we discovered his treachery he retreated to
our capital in Golden Woods with his elite warriors who do not seem to care
about their human brothers. We want to try to exterminate those vermin,
but we need your help..",

Mission Description:
"Help our army, led by Pardis the warlord, to raze the town in Golden
Woods to the ground. Our traitor king is making his last stand there."

This is an unexpected plot twist. Travel to the Golden Woods and watch the
nice cutscene.

"You have betrayed us all! How could you? Countless people have been killed
because of you..."

"You still don't understand... It was the only way to better future."

"There is nothing in this world that is worth betraying
your own people for.You, the King, should know that better
than anyone else."

"Says who? You, lowly servant, who was digging mud and bowing and scraping
for your survival just a few years ago Well, I'll teach you what
it means - to be the King!"

The kings transforms into a dragon!

"I gave you one last chance to live and to serve Skarborr himself; You
refused, you even called that winged lizard to fight for you. You have
chosen your destiny. Pray to your dragon God before you die!"

You should attack the town first so it will explode and do alot of damage to
the enemies that are near. After that, attack the King with missile attacks.
If you get hurt, fly away and if you have some healing spells, use them.

start with the consolidation of our forces: clean up all the areas that

and rebuild the towns where needed."

Mission Description:
"Clean all the areas that we control of any enemy lairs
and monsters so we don't have to look back, and
rebuild the towns where needed."

This will take a while. *sigh* Check your map, all the areas with a yellow
arrow have to be cleaned. The best thing to do is to use in every area
the "Detect Lairs" spell and destroy the lairs first. Then use the
"Detect Monsters" spell and kill all the enemies.

"Thanks for destroying all the lairs in our areas. We will
be eternally grateful."

hold them within Terra. The only way out is to destroy all three of the
generators that project those barriers."

Mission Description:
"The warlord and a couple of his best riders have got trapped - there are
magic barriers that hold them within Terra. The only way out is to destroy
all three generators."

You only have 4 spells on this mission: "Detect Special Magic", "Detect
Lairs", "Minor Cure" and "Aid". You should keep the other 2 riders alive
and heal them or you won't make it. Cast "Detect Special Magic" on yourself.
You should see 3 blue spots. Destroy the buildings, and you can control the
dragon again.The carpet guy should come back to you after you control
the dragon again. The carpet guy should come back to you after you control
the dragon again.

a town here at level 6 to do that. These great beasts could stop even the

Mission Description:

You will need a lot of souls to upgrade the town to the 6th level, so don't
destroy all lairs immediatly, only destroy the lairs that are near the town
and then go kill enemies.

There aren't any official cheats... But i found a few on the GameFaqs board/
Cheat site.
1) Invulnerability Cheat
From: SingularityZero | Posted: 4/18/2004 4:10:00 PM | Message Detail
Hey all, I had a look in the registry and found out how to activate
invulnerability, and this is how you do it. On win xp (and most other windows
systems), click 'start', then 'run', then type 'regedit' and find:
HEY_USERS/
S-1-5-21-1177238915-746137067-854245398-1003/
Software/
Primal/
Dragon/
Debug/
Inside the debug folder there is a key called 'Invulnerability', right click
this and choose 'Modify'. You'll see that it's flagged to 0. What you want to
do (to be invulnerable), is to set it to 1. After you do this, close down the
Registry Editor, and your dragon won't be able to receive damage.
I haven't tried it with a saved game, only a new game. So you MAY have to start
a new one. But again, I'm not sure.
[Thanks to: SingularityZero]
2) Trainer

This one allows you to get 100000 Stat Points, or to freeze your stat points.

Answer: By right-clicking on it.
-Question: After I killed Quingor, the map doesn't end! What should I do?
Answer: Be sure you pick up the artifact from Quingor's body and you kill all
        the monsters and lairs in the map. Fly though the whole map to be sure
        you didn't miss any enemy. You can also use the "Detect Lairs" spell
        to see if you didn't miss any. (Look in the Walkthrough section for
        more information."
