Introduction

Hello!
I am Steve Novicki, and I will be narrating this guide for the awesome
PC game, Dope Wars. Dope Wars is a game of buying and selling illegal
drugs, and you have to be clever enough to pull it all off and make it
to your best advantage by making a lot of money. This game is basically
a version of Drug Wars, an awesome game I have on my TI-85, but is for
Windows. It is much, much easier to use than Drug Wars, though, so you
shouldn't get Drug Wars after getting Dope Wars.

2 - How to Make a Ton of Money and Win the Game

The main aim of Dope Wars is to buy and sell a variety of illegal drugs
to make a lot of money. The most I've ever made was about $500,000, and
you start out with $2,000 and a debt to the bank.
What I normally do to make a lot of money is to, in the beginning, wait
until the price of acid goes way, way down. You normally get it from
$3,000 - $5,000; wait until it goes down to like $200. Then buy as much
as you can afford and/or stuff in your coat. Now just keep jetting
around town until you get a really, really expensive price on acid,
like $4,000. Now sell the whole load, and you should have around
$50,000. It is crucial that you pay off your debt now with the money
you just made or else it will haunt you the rest of the game to a point
that you can't pay it off at all.
Now that you have some serious money, wait until the pigs are selling
cheap heroin from last week's raid (the price of heroin is about $900
or $1,000). Buy as much as possible. Now jet around until addicts are
buying heroin at outrageous prices (the price of heroin is extremely
high, maybe around $30,000). Sell all of the heroin you have. This
should bring you in some serious money. Now the best thing to do is to
buy as much cocaine as you can when the price is average (around
$18,000 or so). Jet around until cops have made a big coke bust, prices
are outrageous (the price of cocaine is extremely expensive, like
$100,000). Sell all you have. You should now be well boosted into the
millions of dollars. You should have so much money now that it is
extremely hard to go bankrupt by accident. Therefore, you can just play
around with all of the drugs and see what you can do.
