2.1 INTRODUCTION
Welcome to Professor Tim's laboratory! In this laboratory, Tim is experimen-
ting with practically everything possible: balls, mice, alligators, lasers,
pinball attributes... He's always working on his incredible machines. In this
game, you are going to help Tim to solve his puzzles. The puzzles vary from
terribly easy (yes, really terrible) to F$%@ing unsolvable. The game is very
addictive, so beware!
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
2.2 CONTROLS
The entire game is mouse-driven. The right mouse button has no function, with
the left mouse button you can:
- Pick up a part
- Rotate/flip/mirror a part
- Program a part
- Resize a part
- Remove a part
The screen interface is a multi-windowed interface, which means smaller win-
dows in the main window. There are three windows, apart from the main window:
- Playfield
This is where all the action is. This is the puzzle window, where you should
put your parts to solve it.
- Parts bin
Here are all the parts for a level. You can pick up a part from the parts bin
by clicking on it, and place it on the playfield by clicking again. You can
also remove parts from the playfield and put them back in the parts bin.
- Goal window
A small window with a piece of text. This window tells you what your machine
must do. This can involve starting a mixer, catching a mouse or bring a little
boy home.
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
2.3 PUZZLE
The main mode in this game is the puzzle mode. In this mode, there are more
than 150 puzzles to solve, divided in Tutorial (learn how parts work), Easy,
Medium, Hard and Really (Really) Hard puzzles. Solve the puzzles by placing
the right parts at the right positions. You can load any puzzle you want,
reset the machine and start over, ask for hints and choose the background
music during a puzzle.
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
2.4 TIM'S WORKSHOP & WALKTHROUGH
2.4.1 Tim's Workshop
A very attractive extra mode is Tim's Workshop. This is where you can create
your own puzzles. Basically it works the same as the puzzle mode: take parts
from the bin and place them in the playfield to make your own puzzle. You can
lock and unlock parts: locked parts are locked in the playfield (d'oh!) and
unlocked parts will go to the parts bin when you start the puzzle. You can
program a solution for your puzzle by selecting the "solution part" and tell
what it should do. Use the goal window to type the goal of your puzzle. You
also can add hints to the puzzle. Finally, you can test-drive your puzzle.
All you need now is a creative puzzling mind!
2.4.2 Walkthrough
If you enter Tim's Workshop, you might be overwhelmed with all the options and
possibilities. If you really don't understand the workshop, you can follow the
walkthrough. Professor Tim wil guide you step-by-step through the wonderful
world of puzzle-making (oh my God, where did that come from?).
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
2.5 HEAD TO HEAD
The "head to head mode" is a two-player mode where you should solve the puzzle
faster than your opponent. The puzzles are relatively easy and solvable in a
lot of ways. The catch is: you have a limited amount of time (eg. 45 seconds)
and you are also limited in using parts (you can add only one part from the
bin per turn, and move another part that is already in the playfield). The
player who beats the other player by solving the puzzle, wins.

3.1 BALLS
BOWLING BALL
The bowling ball is very heavy and doesn't bounce much.
BASKETBALL
The basketball is medium in weight and very bouncy.
SOCCER BALL
The soccer ball is medium in weight and quite bouncy.
PINBALL
The pinball is very hard and heavy, and doesn't bounce much.
SUPER BALL
The super ball gains height and speed with each bounce.
POOL BALL
The pool ball won't move until it's hit. The harder it's hit, the farther it
will roll. It isn't affected by gravity (ever seen pool balls floating around
your local snooker cafe?). You can program it to show any number on its sur-
face.
BEACH BALL
This ball can be programmed to vary in appearance, mass, elasticity, density,
and friction.
BASEBALL
The baseball is pretty light and not very bouncy.
TENNIS BALL
The tennis ball is very light and bouncy.
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
3.2 WALLS
All wall parts can be placed either as walls or as floors. You can stretch
them horizontally or vertically to give them the desired length in the de-
sired direction.
RED BRICK WALL
This wall is not as slippery as a caution wall. Explosives will blow it up.
YELLOW BRICK WALL
This wall is pretty slippery. Explosives will blow holes through it.
CINDER BLOCK WALL
This wall's surface is not very slippery. Explosions will blow holes through
it.
GRECO-ROMAN WALL
This wall has a pretty slippery surface. It won't be affected by explosions.
WOODEN WALL
A wooden wall's surface isn't very slippery. Explosions will blast holes
through it.
LOG WALL
This wall has the same properties as the wooden wall, only it looks different.
CAUTION WALL
This wall is very slippery and can't be blown up by explosives.
GRASS WALL
This wall isn't very slippery and will be blown by explosives.
SAND WALL
Sand isn't slippery at all. It can't be affected by explosives (not even a
dust cloud)
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
3.3 PIPES
PIPE WALL
This is more a wall than a pipe, actually... It has a slippery surface and
can't be broken by explosives.
CURVED PIPE WALL
This curved pipe section can be connected to a pipe wall. Flip it to curve in
the direction needed.
STRAIGHT PIPE
Connect sections of this pipe together and drop balls or other things inside.
Attach sections of curved pipe ant T-connectors to control the direction that
objects go. You can also attach an accelerator tube to speed up or reverse
the direction of objects moving through the pipes.
CURVED PIPE
Drop balls and other objects into this large curved pipe to make them come out
the other end (and change direction!). It can be attached to straight sections
of large pipe and T-connectors. You can also attach an accelerator tube to
speed up or reverse the direction of objects moving through the pipes.
T-CONNECTOR
Use the T-Connector to hitch sections of large or curved pipe together. Drop
balls and other objects into the openings. Attach an accelerator tube to speed
up or reverse the direction of objects moving through the pipes.
ACCELERATOR
The accelerator tube can be connected to any type of large pipe. It will speed
up or change(!) the direction of any object passing through it.
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
3.4 INCLINES
I will be shorter about this one. Inclines are tilted walls. You can resize
them horizontally which will change the angle of the incline. Inclines won't
be affected by explosions. There are six types of inclines:
RED BRICK INCLINE
YELLOW BRICK INCLINE
GRANITE INCLINE
WOOD INCLINE
LOG INCLINE
GRASS INCLINE
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
3.5 GEAR-RELATED
BIG GEAR
You can make a big gear turn by adding a belt and hitching it to other rota-
ting parts, like motors and generators. Place gears side by side or above
or below each other to reach the distance necessary or to change the direc-
tion of rotation.
TINY GEAR
The tiny gear rotates at twice the speed of a big gear when it's placed next
to one. These gears must be placed directly beside or above/below other gears.
BELT
Use the belt to hitch any two rotating parts together. Click on the first part
you wish to connect, then stretch the belt over to the second part. When the
line turns from red to green, the belt is in position. Click again to attach
it. Belts can only be stretched a limited distance.
CONVEYOR BELT
Hitch this conveyor belt to a motor by adding a belt. Then use it to move
objects. Add a gear to make it change directions.
ELECTRIC MOTOR
Plug this motor into an outlet and use a belt to attach it to gears, conveyor
belts, and other rotating parts. This motor can also be flipped.
MOUSE MOTOR
Bump the cage to make the mouse run around on his wheel. Add a belt and hitch
is up to things like the conveyor belt or the Jack-in-the-box to make them
work.
MANDRILL MOTOR
To start up the Mandrill Motor, tie a rope to the shade and give it a tug.
When the mandrill sees the banana he pedals like crazy. Attach a belt to the
treadmill to power anything that is driven with a belt.
HORIZONTAL MOTION TRANSFORMER
This handy gadget turns translational motion (back and forth) into rotational
energy (around in circles). Tie a rope to the eye hook, then tug it with
another object to make the gear turn. Hitch a belt to the gear and use it to
rotate any rotating part.
VERTICAL MOTION TRANSFORMER
This does the same as the horizontal motion transformer, only vice verse: it
turns rotational energy into translational motion.
GENERATOR
The generator comes with its own outlet. Use it to supply electricity to power
parts by connecting the generator's wheel to a rotational motor by adding a
belt.
JACK-IN-THE-BOX
You can hitch this Jack-in-the-box to any rotating part by adding a belt. When
the wheel turns, it will pop open. And when Jack pops uit, anything on top of
his box will be shot into the air.
PINWHEEL
You can make this pinwheel spin by blowing air on it. Attach a belt and use
it to turn other rotating parts.
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
3.6 ROPE-RELATED
ROPE
Use the rope to tie objects together, hang things in the air, or hoist things
off the ground with the help of a pulley. To use the rope: pull it out of the
parts bin onto the playfield. Click on the first object you want tied, then
drag the cursor over the second object. When the line turns from red to green,
the rope is in position. Click again to attach it. You can cut the rope with
hedge trimmers or tin snips.
STEEL CABLE
The steel cable works just like the rope, except it is much stronger. It can
only be cut with tin snips.
BOAT CLEAT
Any object that can be tied with a rope may be hitched to this boat cleat. Use
it to hang things from the air, or to keep balloons from floating away.
PULLEY
You can place this pulley between any two parts that may be connected by rope
or cable. For example: tie one end of a rope to an object, then run the rope
over as many pulleys as necessary (click on each pulley), and tie the other
end of the rope to another part.
HEDGE TRIMMERS
You can cut ropes with these hedge trimmers by bumping the handles with an-
other object. Balloons and blimps pop against the tips.
TIN SNIPS
The tin snips do the same as the hedge trimmers, only they also can cut
through steel cable.
TEETER-TOTTER
Drop something heavy on the high end of the teeter-totter to catapult an ob-
ject off the low end. Tie a rope to either end and use it to hoist and lower
objects or cause other reactions.
TRAILER
The trailer acts as a teeter-totter.
BALLOON
The balloon can be programmed to have four different appearances, which all
act exactly the same. It will float up into the air unless it's tied down with
a rope or held back by another object. Balloons will pop if they touch some-
thing sharp or hot.
HOT AIR BALLOON
Light the candle to create hot air, which will make this balloon rise into the
air. Tie a rope to the eye hook on the bottom and use it to, for example, lift
things.
BUCKET
You can drop things inside the bucket. Tie a rope to it, and tie the other end
to a second object. Then drop something heavy into the bucket to lift the
other object. You can also affect other parts that may be attached to the
rope.
LEAKING BUCKET
There's a hole in the bottom of this bucket. You can program how fast the
water leaks out. The faster it drips, the heavier the bucket is when you start
the puzzle. As the contents drip out, the bucket gets lighter. Tie a rope to
the top and use pulleys to connect it to another object.
LAUNDRY BASKET
Use the laundry basket to trap cats, mice or Mel. Tie one end of a rope to the
laundry basket, and tie the other end to another part, like a bucket or a
teeter-totter.
MATCH ON A STRING
Pull the little peg with a rope to make this match pop up lit. Use it to light
fuses, pop blimps and balloons, and heat up coffee pots.
LAVA LAMP
The groovy lava lamp isn't just a cool piece of retro-decor taken from Pro-
fessor Tim's attic. It's also an excellent light source. Tie a rope to the
chain and give it a tug to turn on the lamp. Use it to power up the solar pa-
nel, or shine it through a magnifying glass to light fuses and candles.
PHAZER GUN
The spiffy toy phazer shoots pulses of energy. Tie one end of a rope to the
trigger and run it through a pulley (placed behind the phazer), then tie the
other end to a balloon or something heavy. You can program the number of ener-
gy pulses you want to fire, but the gun will only shoot as long as the rope is
pulling on the trigger. Use phazer pulses to bump things, pop balloons and
blimps, light candles and fuses, and blow up explosives.
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
3.7 ELECTRICITY
OUTLET
The electrical outlet has juice running to it at all times. Plug in any elec-
trical part and it will work.
SWITCHED OUTLET
Plug any of the electrical parts into the electric outlet, then drop something
on the switch to turn on the power, or bump up on the switch if it's upside-
down.
SOLAR PANEL
The solar panel comes with its own electrical outlet. Shine a light on the
panel, then plug in any electric part you want to operate.
CAN OPENER
Plug this can opener into an electrical outlet to make it open the can. When
the sauce spills out of the can, the cat will come lap it up if she's within
range.
ELECTRIC MIXER
Plug the electric mixer into an outlet to make it run.
ELECTRIC FAN
Plug the electric fan into an outlet to make it blow air. Flip it to change
the wind direction. Use it to blow objects away or to turn the pinwheel.
VACUUM CLEANER
Plug the vacuum into an electrical outlet and use it to suck up any object
that's affected by gravity (for instance, mice, heh heh heh).
TOASTER
Plug the toaster into an electrical outlet and push down on the switch to make
it work. When the toast is done, it pops into the air. Use it to bump other
objects. You can also program it to work as a timer. The darker the toast you
choose, the longer the amount of time it takes to pop up.
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
3.8 LASERS
RED LASER, GREEN LASER, BLUE LASER
When the red/green/blue laser is plugged into an outlet, it will fire a red/
green/blue beam. When the beam strikes a laser-activated plug of the same
color, it will generate energy that can be used to power anything hooked up to
that outlet. Laser beams can be bounced and directed by using angled mirrors.
They may also be fired into laser mixers, which will blend the colors of the
beams. If an object passes through a laser beam, it will temporarily cut off
the energy flow. Use laser beams to light fuses and candles, or to pop bal-
loons.
LASER MIXER
The laser mixer will blend the colors of any laser beam passing through it.
The mixed color beam could then be used to provide energy to a laser-activated
plug of that color. Take a look at the following table to see exactly how the
laser mixer works.
Red | Blue | Green || Result
----+------+-------++-------
off | off | on || Green
off | on | off || Blue
off | on | on || Cyan
on | off | off || Red
on | off | on || Yellow
on | on | off || Violet
on | on | on || White
ANGLED MIRROR
The angled mirror can be used to deflect and change the direction of laser
beams. It can be positioned in four different angles (north-west, north-east,
south-east and south-west).
LASER-ACTIVATED PLUG
When a laser beam of the right color strikes the laser-activated plug, it will
provide electrical power to any part plugged into the outlet. The plug can be
programmed to accept laser beams of any color. It will only accept the color
that it is!
LASER DETECTOR
The laser detector can receive laser beams of any color. When a beam strikes
the black eye, the green light turns on If the beam is broken, the red light
flashes. If the beam returns, both lights will flash.
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
3.9 LIGHT AND FIRE
FLASHLIGHT
Drop something on the button of the flashlight to turn it on. Use it to power
solar panels, or put a magnifying glass right in front of it and use it to
light fuses and candles.
MAGNIFYING GLASS
Place the magnifying glass in front of any light source to ignite fuses or
candles. Make sure it's close enough to both the light source and the fuse you
are trying to light. Flip it if necessary.
CANDLE
This candle can be lit with a laser beam, a phazer or any other flaming part,
or with a lamp and the magnifying glass. You can use it both as a light source
and a flaming device.
OIL LAMP
Light the oil lamp with any fire-lighting part (as mentioned above, in the
candle's description). Once it's burning, you can use it as a light source, or
as a flaming device.
FLINT ROCKS
Bump the flint rocks to start a fire, which can be used as a flaming device or
a light source.
ROCKET
Light the fuse of the rocket with a fire-lighting part. It can be flipped to
fly straight up, left, or right. The rocket won't explode after take-off.
MISSILE
The missile is handy for blowing up all sorts of things, including most walls.
It works like a rocket, only the missile blows op when it touches anything
after ignition.
FIREWORKS
Pretty much like the missile, it explodes after ignition, but doesn't blow up
stuff. It also has only one direction: up. You can program the type of fire-
works.
DYNAMITE
Light the fuse of dynamite to make it blow up all kinds of things, including
some walls.
TNT & REMOTE CONTROL
These explosives come with the remote control part. They'll blow up all kinds
of things, including most walls. Drop something on top of the remote control
button, or tie one end a rope to the button and hitch the other end to an ob-
ject that will allow you to pull the button down.
NITROGLYCERINE
The tube of nitroglycerine will explode if it's bumped or dropped with enough
force. It blows up all kinds of things, including most walls.
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
3.10 FAUNA
MEL SCHLEMMING
Meet Mel Schlemming. Mel walks mindlessly forward until he bumps into some-
thing (like a lemming, get the pun, lemming schlemming... aaahh forget it).
Then he turns around and walks mindlessly in the other direction. You can pro-
gram him to walk, run, or stand still until he's bumped. If he falls too hard,
he drops on the floor and takes a nap (why doesn't he just simply die?). He
also has to watch out for alligators (heh heh).
NEWTON MOUSE
Newton Mouse is (trrrrrrrr-ching!) a mouse. He'll go after any cheese he can
see. He'll also run away if Curie Cat comes after him. He'll run inside a
mouse hole if you place a hunk of cheese on the other side of it, or if Curie
chases him towards one. Newton also has to watch out for alligators.
CURIE CAT
Curie Cat will head toward Newton Mouse or Bill the Goldfish whenever he can
see them. He'll turn around if he's bumped or runs into something. He also
likes the sauce that comes out of the can when it falls from the can opener.
Curie can't be eaten by alligators.
EDISON ALLIGATOR
Meet Edison. He'll chow down Mel Schlemming or Newton Mouse if they get too
close. He also flips things into the air with his snout.
BILL THE GOLDFISH
Bill the Goldfish swims happily in his safe aquarium. Curie Cat will come af-
ter him if she's close enough and they're on the same level of flooring. If
the aquarium breaks, Curie will be attracted from a greater distance. Drop
just about anything on the tank to break it.
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
3.11 SPORTS AND GAMES
FELT-COVERED WALL
You can build your own virtual pool table with these felt-covered walls. Balls
will bounce off them. Add pockets wherever you want them. Flip these walls if
necessary. You can resize the wall either horizontally or vertically.
POCKET
The pool table pockets can be rotated to eight different angles. Use them with
sections of felt-covered wall to build your own billiards game. Anything that
drops into one of these pockets will disappear.
CUE
The pool cue is spring-loaded and ready to shoot anytime something bumps the
button on the back end. It can be rotated to shoot from eight different an-
gles. Use it to hit pool balls or other things.
PINBALL FLIPPER
The pinball flipper will flick any object that drops on top of it. It can be
flipped left or right.
PINBALL BUMPER
The pinball bumper can be placed so that moving objects will bounce off in any
direction.
BOXING GLOVE
Bump the red button on the back of this glove to make it punch things.
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
3.12 OTHER PARTS
LATTICE ARCHWAY, GRANITE ARCHWAY, METAL SCAFFOLDING, WOODEN BARRIER
These large blocks can be used to fill spaces so objects can't (or can) pass
through. You can set things on top of it, or bounce things off it, but you
can't blow it up.
ANTI-GRAVITY PAD
The anti-gravity pad reverses the gravity field for anything on top of it.
Without gravity, most things will float up into the air, but balloons will
drop.
SPRINGBOARD
Anything you drop on this springboard will go higher with each bounce.
TRAP DOOR
The trap door drops open when heavy objects land on top of it.
BIKE PUMP
Drop something on the top handle of this bike pump to make it blow air. You
can also bump something (a balloon, for instance) into the bottom handle.
EGG TIMER
Program the egg timer to a desired amount of time (0-7 seconds). Then drop
something on the top knob to make it start. When the time is up, an arm pops
out, bumping anything in its way.
BLIMP
The blimp will fly in a straight line until it bumps into something and rever-
ses direction. It will pop if it bumps into a moving gear or anything sharp,
and it will blow up if it touches a flame or explosion.
TACK
The thumb tack is handy for popping blimps and balloons. It can be flipped in
four ways (north, east, south, west).
COFFEE POT
Make the coffee pot percolate by heating it with any type of fire. Then use
the steam to push things.
CHEESE
Newton Mouse will come after the cheese whenever he's close enough and on the
same level of flooring.
MOUSE HOLE
Newton Mouse likes to hide in this hole when he's chased by Curie Cat. You can
also lure him inside by placing some cheese on the far side of the hole.
PROGRAMMABLE BOX
The box actually is five boxes in one device. Program it to be glass, wood,
wicker, metal or cardboard. The boxes vary in size. You can drop things inside
the box, or use it to catch falling objects.
COMPUTER
The computer is a handy way to relay messages one letter at a time. A letter
will appear on the monitor if something bumps on the keyboard. The computer
may be programmed to display either nothing, or one of the following charac-
ters:
@!?$#*&+-=/"',.:0123456789ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZabcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz
Line these characters up side by side to spell out a whole message.
HOUSE
This is the resident of Mel Schlemming. If he sees it, he'll head home. This
house is programmable to be either a suburban duplex or a log cabin.

4.1 TUTORIAL PUZZLES
These puzzles are too simple, really! Nonetheless, I will put the solutions to
the tutorial puzzles in this FAQ anyway, 'cause I want to be as complete as
possible. Okay, on with the solutions now...
LEVEL 1: BALLS
1) Place the super ball underneath the 8-ball.
LEVEL 2: WALLS AND INCLINES
1) Place the yellow brick wall between the gap on the right, next to the bow-
ling ball.
2) Place any kind of incline on the left side of the right red brick floor.
Make it as long as possible and position it in a south-western direction.
LEVEL 3: GEARS AND BELTS
1) Place the conveyor belt directly under the right basketball. Make it as
large as possible, and position the right side of the conveyor belt under
the basketball.
2) Place a big gear directly next to the right gear which is attached to the
mouse motor.
3) Place another big gear directly above the gear you just put in the field.
4) Connect one end of the belt to the "latest" big gear you placed, and con-
nect the other side of the belt with the conveyor belt above.
LEVEL 4: TEETER-TOTTERS & ROPES
1) Place a teeter-totter under the lower-left bowling ball. The lower side of
the teeter-totter should be on the right, directly under the bowling ball.
2) Put the trailer under the left pinball. The lower side of the trailer
should be on the left, the upper side of the trailer directly under the
pinball.
3) Connect the upper side of the trailer with the upper side of the teeter-
totter.
LEVEL 5: SWITCHES AND PLUGS
1) Place a mixer on the outlet in the lower right corner of the playfield.
2) Place the switched outlet under the tennis ball in the lower left side of
the playfield.
3) Place another mixer on the switched outler you just put in the field.

INTERMEZZO
Okay, let's take a little break here. Since you already came this far, I sup-
pose you aren't completely stupid. So I'm going to shorten things a bit from
here, especially when it comes to gears, belts, ropes, walls and inclines. If
things are unclear, tell me, so I can upgrade my FAQ if necessary.
Oh yeah, another thing I forgot to mention: if a solution in this FAQ doens't
seem to work, it can help if you move one of the objects a little bit. You
will find out, when a solution doesn't work, why it doens't work. So work on
it yourself a bit!
Thank you!

The first incline starts at the end of the left caution wall, the last
incline ends at the bottom of the screen.
3) Place a caution wall between the last incline and the bottom wall, in the
gap. Resize it so that it fills up the entire gap.
4) Place the blue laser (or any of the other lasers, I used the blue one)
next to the outlet in the top-left of the screen. Aim it at the mirror.
5) Place the laser-activated plug under the mirror. Program it to react on a
blue beam (unless you've used a different laser).

corner of the screen.
2) Place another TNT remote control in the small gap on the second top floor.
Place the explosives on the wooden floor, top-right in the screen.
3) Place the caution floor on the right side of the wooden incline where the
pinball lies close to. Resize it until the right side of the floor reaches
the left side of the floor above.
4) Place an egg-timer on the left side of the bowling ball, arm right. Set the
timer to 0 seconds.
LEVEL 20: ILLUMINATE THE LAB

sure the trigger is positioned under the right empty bucket. Set the timer
at 0 seconds.
3) Place a curved pipe, openings up and left, on the left side of the lava
lamp. Test the puzzle a few times, look if the pinball falls on the trai-
ler. If not, move the curved pipe a little.
4) Connect the low end of the trailer with the lava lamp.
LEVEL 21: BLOW UP
1) Place an incline under the baseball with the high end on the right. Make it
standard-sized. Place it somewhere halfway between the baseball and the
caution floor.
2) Place a springboard between "your" incline and the "roof" of the hot air
balloon.

so that the pinball can trigger it. The explosives go on the bottom brick
floor.
4) Place the nitro on the middle brick floor.
5) Place the dynamite on the top brick floor. The fuse must be above the
match-on-a-string.
6) Place the hedge trimmers under the trolley, handles on the left.
7) Place the flint rocks under the hot air balloon.
LEVEL 22: GRAVITY CAVITY
1) Place a conveyor belt above the soccer ball, so that another soccer ball

7) Place a magnifying glass on the right side of the lava lamp, reflecting
left.
8) Place an incline lower than the pinball and the trailer. Left side up,
maximum size.
*) Be patient after you run this puzzle. Nothing seems to happen, but the can-
dle will bounce up and down, catch fire and eventually power the solar pa-
nel. You'll see.
LEVEL 23: THE SKY IS FALLING!
1) Place four boat cleets above the buckets. Turn 'em all around.
2) Connect the buckets with the cleets above. Make sure the ropes are com-
pletely tight and unbent!

non's fuse.
5) Place the tin snips half way through the steel cable. Handles right.
6) Place the flashlight on the left side of the solar panel. Shine right.
7) Place the red (or blue) laser above the solar panel. Aim at the hot air
balloon fuse.
LEVEL 28: SOCCER SHOCKER
*) This is one hell of a puzzle to explain in text! I will try it anyway, and
if you don't understand it, contact me and I'll give you a screenshot of
the level.
1) Place the boxing glove next to the hot air balloon, on the bottom floor,
on the side with the pinball. Punch left.
2) Place flint rocks under the hot air balloon.
3) Place a trailer above the hot air balloon, lower side left. The low end of
the trailer should be about as high as the end of the wall on the left of
it.
4) Place another trailer above and left of the trailer, so that when the
right trailer flips, the left trailer will flip as well. High and left.
5) Place tin snips on the steel cable, handles left. The trailer above it
will touch the handles and close the snips.
6) Place the hadge trimmers under the happy face balloon, handles under the
empty bucket.
7) Place the cue between the balloon and the soccer ball, aim at the soccer
ball (which means the cue should point in north-western direction).
8) Okay, it's pipe time now! Place a curved pipe on the right side of the
football, openings up and left (almost touching the springboard).
9) Add an accelerator to the left opening, accelerating to the left. The ac-
celerator should be right above the springboard.
10) Add another curved pipe to the accelerator, openings right and up.
11) Add anóther curved pipe above the last, openings down and right. It should
be as high as the grey corner stone in the yellow brick wall.
12) Add an accelerator to the right opening of the curved pipe. If things are
done correctly, the accelerator ends exactly at the grey corner stone.
13) Now perhaps the trickiest part: put a blimp under the top right floor. The
blimp should fly left and be positioned somewhere directly above the ten-
nis ball and the "3" pool ball, all the way up until it touches the roof.
14) Pull some hairs out of your head and try again.
LEVEL 29: PINBALL PUZZLER
*) There are a lot of pieces of pipe in this puzzle. I have split this puzzle
into six parts, to make it a bit easier to understand. The level looks like
this (a bit anyway):
+---+----------------+---------------------+
| O | | |
| -' (2) | (4) |
| | |
| | | +-- |
| -+ | | --------+
| | | | ## |
| | | | ###### |
| | | | ###### (6) |
| | | | ## |
| | | | |
| | | | |
| | | -+ -+ |
| | | | | | |
| | | | | |
| (1) | (3) | | (5) |
| | | | |
+-----------+---------------+ +-----------+
(1) Place two curved pipes next to each other, so that the pinball that falls
down is being redirected up. Add an accelerator on top of the right curved
pipe.
(2) Again, place two curved pipes next to each other, but this time change the
direction of the pinball from up to down.
(3) Make the same construction you made at (1).
(4) Make the same construction you made at (2).
(5) Make the construction from (1) once more.
(6) Add one curved pipe to change the direction from up to left.
LEVEL 30: ALL TERRAIN PINBALL
1) Place an accelerator under the pinball. Accelerate up.
2) This one is pretty tricky... You have to place two pinball bumps in the
left pinball field, so that the ball bounces out of the pinball field, into
the right gap. I've placed one next to the computer, a little bit lower,
and the second one a bit higher, close to the right wooden wall. There's no
exact solution for this point, you'll have to find a fitting solution by
moving the bumps pixel by pixel. Keep trying and testing, and if you have
found the solution, continue with point 3.
3) Place an accelerator next to the rightmost wooden incline, so that the pin-
ball rolls in.
4) Place a third pinball bump in the top-right corner of the screen, where the
rightmost log incline and the log ceiling form a 135° corner.

4.4 HARD PUZZLES
It's getting harder and harder. At first I didn't really notice the difference
in difficulty that much, to be honest... Puzzles don't get a lot harder until
after level 20 or so. Still, they're more than worth solving!
LEVEL 1: THINGS THAT GO BOOM!!!
1) Place a rocket above the match-on-a-string, on the brick floor.

bottom left aquarium. They should block the way between caution floor 4 and
7*.
6) Place the springboard on the left side of caution floor 6*.
7) Place two more inclines above the springboard: a small one on the left and
a standard one on the right. They should pretty much cover the complete
length of the springboard together.
*) I've numbered the caution floors on the right from top to bottom, left to
right. That means:

one under Newton Mouse.
9) Connect the match with the motion transformer, using all trolleys.
LEVEL 17: MEL ON THE MOVE
1) Place the dynamite on the top right floor, fuse left.
2) Place the nitro on the floor (NOT the incline) underneath that floor.
3) Place three phazer guns: one aiming at the balloon, one aiming at the nitro
and one aiming at the dynamite stick. They all aim left and are positioned
between the second vertical wall from the left and Mel.
4) Place three teeter-totters between the vertical walls on the left: one
in the bottom-left corner (right side up), one next to the leftmost trolley
(left side up) and one underneath the incline (right side up).
5) Connect the high end of each teeter-totter with the phazer gun closest to
it.
6) Place an anti-gravity pad in the bottom gap.
NOTE: You don't need to use any of the trolleys!
LEVEL 18: EDISON'S BREAKFAST

6) Connect the lava lamp string to the lower side of the trailer.
7) Place the toaster above the solar panel outlet, with the lever to the left.
8) Place the 8-ball above the toast.
LEVEL 19: MEL'S MINE FIELD
*) This is the easiest solution I found, there are quite some possible solu-
tions available though.
1) Place an anti-gravity pad under the lowest wooden floor, directly under the
three Mel's.
2) Place the accelerator on the second wooden floor from the top, directly
above the anti-gravity pad. Accelerate up.
3) Place a curved pipe above the accelerator, openings left and down.
LEVEL 20: MEL TAKES A HIKE
1) Place an anti-gravity pad in the gap of the bottom right granite floor.
2) Place the motor between Mel and the laser-activated plug. The belt holder
should be right.
3) Connect the motor with the big gear.
3) Place the blue laser next to the right switched outlet. Aim at the bottom
mirror.
LEVEL 21: THE BIG BALLOON BUMMER
1) Place the boxing glove on the right side of the bowling ball, hitting the
bowling ball.
2) Place the pinball flipper on the right side of the log wall, so that it
"flippers" the bowling ball up when it's hit.
3) Place a conveyor belt (smallest size) under the top pinball.
4) Place a motor mouse under that conveyor belt so that it's activated by the
"flippered" bowling ball.
5) Place the red laser next to the switched outlet. Aim at the air balloon
fuse.
6) Place the anti-gravity pad under the incline, under the silver balloon.
LEVEL 22: JOLLY JOLLY JUMPIN' JACK
1) Place a wooden floor at the bottom of the screen under the nitro, so that
the nitro can blow away both floor and wall.
2) Use the curved pipes and the straight pipe to send the phazer gun bullet to
the happy face balloon. So: place one curved pipe at the top right side of
the screen (openings left and down), place one at the bottom right side of
the screen (openings left and up) and connect them with the straight pipe.
3) You've done the trickiest part so far. Place the flashlight under the right
bucket.
4) Place the magnifying glass next to the flashlight.
5) Place the cannon next to the magnifying glass. Aim right, as high as pos-
sible. The pinball will fall down the small gap between the caution walls.
6) Place the switched outlet in the small gap, on the left side of the nitro.
It fits exactly.
7) Place the blue laser next to the switched outlet. Shoot up, on the right
side of the caution wall above.
8) Use the mirrors to reflect the laser beam towards the end of the dynamite
fuse.
LEVEL 23: ROCKET RACKET
1) First, we'll place some gears. Place a big gear next to the bottom left
motor mouse, place a small gear next to it. Place two big gears on the left
side of the right bowling ball.
2) Now, we must connect them. Connect the motor mouse with the top big gear
(the first you placed). Connect the small gear with the left big gear (the
left of the two gears you placed second). Connect the right gear with the
conveyor belt.
*) If done correctly, the right bowling ball flies all the way to the right.
3) Place the bike pump on the right side of the silver balloon. Blow left.
4) Place the laser-activated plug between the teeter-totter and the fireworks.
Make it blue.
5) Now it is time for a little self-induction (something I learned at physics
class, forget about it). Place a blue laser next to the laser-activated
plug. Now place two mirrors, so that the laser activates its own plug.
6) Add another blue laser and use a mirror to send the beam to the fuses of
the fireworks and the rocket.
LEVEL 24: TRICK SHOT
1) Take the cue. The tip of the cue must point down and left. Make it hit the
white ball a bit on the right side of it. This takes some accurancy and it
might take a couple of tries before you make this shot. I will try to make
things clear in the following crappy ASCII drawing. Let's say the diamond
is the white ball (I can't draw ASCII, I warned ya before!) and the X's is
the cue. It should look something like this:
X
X
/\ X
/ \
\ /
\/
2) Place the baseball above the cue to activate it.
LEVEL 25: FIRE SHOW SHENANIGANS
1) Place the TNT remote control under the bottom incline on the right. the ex-
plosives go under the brick floor where the rocket is positioned.
2) Cover almost the entire bottom of the screen with a piped floor. The left
side of the floor should be as far left as the left side of the brick
floor.
3) Place the mouse motor directly above the rocket. Make the mouse walk left.
4) Place a conveyor belt (medium size) under the tennis ball.
5) Connect the mouse with the conveyor belt.
6) Place the flint rocks under the bottom left incline. Fireworks!
LEVEL 26: LATE FOR BREAKFAST
1) Place a pair of scissors in the rope with the handles to the left. They
should be a bit above the flashlight.
2) Place the baseball above the flashlight, so that it turns the flashlight on
and rolls over to the scissors. Try this a couple of times, experimenting
with the positions of the scissors and the baseball, until you've got it
right.
3) Put a magnifying glass between the flashlight and the rocket fuse.
4) Place the green laser next to the switched outlet. Aim at the hot air bal-
loon fuse.
5) Place an accelerator next to the curved pipe, on the left. Accelerate
RIGHT! (which means you accelerate back through the curved pipe).
6) Connect the motion transformer with the generator.
7) Place the red and blue laser in the generator socket. Aim them both at the
laser mixer.
8) Use the mirror to direct the magenta beam to the laser-activated plug.
LEVEL 27: CURIE AND THE CANNON
1) Place the accelerator under the baseball on the right. Accelerate up.
2) Place a green laser next to the switched outlet on the right. Aim at the
green laser-activated plug and the candle fuse.
3) Place the trap door underneath the candle so that it doesn't fall down.
4) Put the coffee pot in the piped hole above the candle.
5) Put the fan next to the laser-activated plug. Aim at the pinwheel.
6) Connect the pinwheel with the motion transformer. You don't need any of the
gears.
7) Place the match on a string under the cannon fuse. The rope-eye should be
right.
8) Place the trolley on the right side of the match.
9) Connect the cannon with the motion transformer using the trolley.
LEVEL 28: PATRIOTIC POP-A-TRON
1) Place a pair of scissors next to the phaer gun. The handles should point
right and the scissors must cut the rope that's connected to the happy face
balloon.
2) Place a red laser next to the switched outlet. Aim at the red laser-activa-
ted plug.
3) Place a blue laser next to the red laser-activated plug. Aim it at the blue
laser-activated plug, but DON'T place it above the happy face balloon!
4) Place a green laser next to the blue laser-activated plug.
5) Place the lava lamp next to the cannon fuse, above the left trolley.
6) Connect the lava lamp with the hot air balloon using both trolleys.
7) Place a pair of scissors above the anti-gravity pad. Handles left, cutting
the rope attached to the dog balloon.
LEVEL 29: IMMOBILIZED MEL
1) Place a springboard under the right tube of nitro.
2) Place the other springboard in the bottom left corner of the screen.

run left.
3) Place a small and a big gear next to each other above the mouse motor.
4) Connect the mouse motor with the small gear.
5) Place a conveyor belt (medium size) under the baseball.
6) Connect the conveyor belt with the big gear.
7) Place a blue laser next to the switched outlet. Aim left.
8) Place the laser-activated plug under the toaster, so that it can be acti-
vated by the blue laser. Alas, make it blue. Now, hover the mouse over the
toaster so that it plugs in to the laser-activated plug. If not, drag the
toaster a bit towards the plug.
9) Place the bike pump between the upper and middle piped floors, in the gap.
Blow at the right tennis ball.
10) Place the pinball flipper on the right side of the right tennis ball, in
the gap. The tennis ball should "fly" over to the top piped floor. Try
this a couple of times.
11) Place the flint rocks under the rocket fuse.
*) This puzzle is pretty hard to pull off, because quite some things are
pixel-accurate. But you will manage to solve it after a couple of tries.
Just shove some parts around and you'll make it.

in the yellow brick corner under the piped floor and the bowling ball.
5) Place a tennis ball above (or "in") the right leaking bucket.
*) This way, you don't need the egg-timer anymore. If you want to use the egg-
timer for extra security, make it punch the bowling ball after at least 5
seconds. Use another tennis ball to activate the egg-timer.
LEVEL 21: MIND-MIXER
1) Place some nitro on the left side of the bowling ball, and on the right
side of the big incline, so that it fits between the incline and the
small wooden floor where the baseball lies on.

five trolleys from left to right, set on maximum leakage.
3) Place a conveyor belt (smallest) under the candle.
4) Place an anti-gravity pad in the bottom right corner, somewhere between
the mirror and the log floor.
5) Place a mouse motor above the trolley between the log floor and the trai-
ler. Let him run right. It's the second floor from the bottom.

end on the left.
5) Connect the high end of that trailer with the lava lamp.
6) Place the magnifying glass next to the lava lamp, on the right.
7) Place the hot air balloon next to the magnifying glass.
*) If done correctly, Mel lands on the blimp underneath, which brings him off
the screen. It depends mostly on where you place the hot air balloon. Move
it around if you don't get it at once.
LEVEL 25: POOLIN' AROUND
1) You need four pool cues. One should shoot the white ball to the left, a bit
on the lower side. One should hit the 3-ball and shoot it straight to the
left. The third cue must hit the 11-ball and shoot it down. The fourth cue
must hit the 14-ball on the left side, and shoot it down.
2) Place an incline next to the cue next to the white ball. Left side down.
3) Place a tennis ball on the incline.
*) This one is a real pain to solve completely! This is what happens when you
have done everything correctly: the white ball bounces off the top cushion,
sinks the 9-ball, immediately hits the left cushion, hits the cue which
sinks the 11-ball. The 10-ball gets sunk by the bounced-off 1-ball. Final-
ly, the white ball hits the 2-ball. The 2-ball hits the cue which sinks the
14-ball, then bounces off the right cushion and the incline, sinks the 13-
ball and finally hits the cue, which hits the 3-ball. The 3-ball sinks the
12-ball. It took me exactly 137 tries to get it correct, so... good luck?
LEVEL 26: BEAM SCREAM
1) Place the crocodile with its beak on the left under the basketball.
2) Place a conveyor belt under the tennis ball. Make sure an anti-gravity pad
fits on the right of the conveyor belt.
3) Connect the conveyor belt with the mouse motor.
4) Place the anti-gravity pad next to the conveyor belt, under the outlet.
5) Place the green laser next to the switched outlet. Aim at the dynamite.
6) Place the pinball between the piped and cinder block walls.
LEVEL 27: BASKETBALL BRAIN BUSTER
1) Place a match-on-a-string over the nitro.
2) Connect the match on a string with the bucket.
3) Place a coffee pot in the space above the nitro. Opening right.
4) Place a pinwheel above the coffeepot's opening, with the blue side left.
5) Place a conveyor belt under the basketball.
6) Connect the conveyor belt with the pinwheel.
*) I wonder why this puzzle is in the really hard category.
LEVEL 28: KITTY CATCHER
1) Place two big gears next the the big gear in the middle. It fits exactly.
Connect the left of those gears with the top left mouse motor.
2) Place a mouse on top of that mouse motor.
3) Place a small and a big gear next to the bottom left mouse motor. It only
fits in one way (on the right of the mouse motor, small gear under, big
gear on top). Connect the big gear with the mouse motor and the small gear
with the middle conveyor belt.
4) Place a small gear under the big gear on the right. Connect the small gear
with the middle mouse motor.
5) Place a Jack-in-the-box on the left side under the empty bucket with the
handle on the left.
6) Connect the Jack-in-the-box with the big gear next to the scissors.
LEVEL 29: TIM2 CONTEST CHAMPION!
*) By far the funniest and most intelligent puzzle of them all, because of
the use of certain things in a different way than normal.
1) Place a Jack-in-the-box in the hole between the crocodile and the convey-
or belt. Handle right.
2) Place three big gears above the bottom conveyor belt, next to each other.
Connect the first with the conveyor belt, the second with the mouse motor
and the third with the Jack-in-the-box.
3) Place the baseball above the switched outlet. Make sure it falls down and
doesn't get stuck.
4) Place the vacuum cleaner on top of the rightmost conveyor belt.
5) Connect the right motor with that conveyor belt.
6) Place a big gear on the left side of the bottom left big gear. Connect the
right gear with the generator and the left gear with the mouse motor.
7) Place a piece of cheese on top of the left mouse motor, in the left cor-
ner.
8) Connect the left motor with the conveyor belt above the bottom crocodile.
9) Place a big gear between the left mouse motor and the big gear next to it.
10) Place two small gears between the small gear and the springboard. Connect
the right small gear with the big gear next to the left mouse motor.
11) Place a small gear and two big gears (high) above the crocodile. Connect
the right (big) gear with the pinwheel and the left (small) gear with the
top conveyor belt.
12) Place a teeter-totter (low end left) above the top conveyor belt and the
incline. The left side of the teeter-totter is as far left as the left
side of the incline.
