Well basically this is my first FAQ that I have ever written so in
the words of IHZer0, "If the layout (or content, for that matter) sucks, you
know why."
This game was available in the United States for a little while, but
now you'd have to visit some import websites in order to pick it up.
At this time I do not have every single team unlocked, but I will
update this FAQ later on as I unlock new teams, secret characters, and can
list the pitchers for these new teams.
Inning: Allows you to set the number of innings. Select from 1-, 3-,
6-, and 9-inning games, or choose extra-innings to allow a tied game
to go past 9-innings.
Called: Turn the called game setting on or off.
Bonus Player: Check bonus athlete data.
Pennant: Shows number of 1 Player wins (the amount of times you beat
1 player mode).
VS: Shows 2p mode records. Reset data by pressing the A button.

D. Note that this team is a secret team, and that it starts
out with only three pitchers and you can add more later as
you unlock more secret players.
The best team I feel to start out with would have to be the Grooves.
Their ability is average, but well rounded. I have been using this team
since I started and I find them to be a really good team.
When playing in the one player game, another team besides your own is
randomly selected and then you play that selected team. Once you defeat a
team, an X is placed over the team's icon to show what teams you have
defeated. At your next game, another opponent will be selected, and this
time it will not include your team, or any teams you have defeated, when it
selects your new opponent.
The teams to really watch out for are the really good pitching teams
(check the teams section). Especially the faster pitching teams because when
those balls start coming in at over 100 kph, they are extremely hard to hit.
Continue to beat teams until you beat them all. Once you beat them
all you will get a suprise. To see what that suprise is, you'll have to read
the other parts of this FAQ.
To begin this section I would like to explain how you know the
condition of your pitchers. First, after one of your pitchers starts a game,
he will not be able to pitch at all in the next game. Second, when you click
on a pitcher's name you will see a small profile with their ratings and their
condition. Pretty much the happier the face is the represents your pitcher's
condition, the better the pitcher's condition is. Third, the profile also
shows how well you pitcher throws the various pitches.
I personally would start a game with a pitcher that has a really
happy face and switch in a less happy pitcher when the starter gets tired.
To throw a curve ball you must press the A button once you place your
pitcher, and then immediately press in the direction you want it to curve.
The pitcher's position isn't that important, but if you want to pitch inside
then stand on the side of the mound that the batter is on.
To throw a faster pitch, complete the same instruction for a curve
ball, but instead of holding in a direction left or right, hold up.
To check runners on base, simply press B and the direction of the
base, and you will throw to that base to make sure the runner is not getting
too big of a lead off of the base that they are on.
The key to batting is knowing the direction to hold when pressing the
A button. For instance, to pull the ball you simply press in the direction
you would normally hit the ball as that type of handed player would (if
right-handed hold left, and if left-handed hold right).
Another important direction you could hold would be up. If you hold
up while batting, the ball will usually be popped up. This direction is how
I sometimes hold it when I am trying to hit a homerun.
The final direction to note would be the down direction. If you hold
down while swinging, the ball will most likely be a groundball. This would
allow other runners the chance of gaining a base, or it will leave you open
for a double play so be careful.
Another type of swing besides the basic A button swing is the bunt.
To bunt, simply tap the A button so that you batter holds out the bat
straight, and hope that your bunt is a good one.
If you have a runner on base, and you want them to steal, press the B
button (you can press only the B button if they are on first) and the
direction of the base, and your runner will start to run there. The best
time to do this is right before the pitcher throws the ball. That way, if
you hit the ball as a ground-ball, your runner will be already close to the
base.
Now once you hit the ball, you press B and the direction of the base
to run there. Note: your batter will automatically run to first after
hitting the ball, and the runner will automatically run to the next base
after the ball is hit. If you want your runner to run back to the base he
was on for any reason (like if the ball was caught for an out) just simply
press A and the direction of the base you want your runner to run back to.
I have found that tapping the B button rapidly while running to a
base makes them run slightly faster. Also, by tapping the B button, your
runner will dive when he reachs the next base (unless you are pressing in the
direction of the next base thus telling him to keep running).
The key to fielding fly balls has to be the dot placed on the field
when a fly ball is in the air. When a ball is popped up a small flashing
circle shows where the ball is going to land. Either get there on foot, or if
you have to, dive to get it. To dive simply run in that direction and press
A.
Now about throwing. To throw to a specific base, hold in the
direction of the base and press A. You can also just press A if you are
throwing to 1st base.
If you are close to a base and would rather run there then throw the
ball, just press B and the direction of the base. Only use this if you are
close to the base, or if no one is on the base to catch a throw, otherwise
you may miss getting an easy throwing out.
