Story
= = = = = = = = = =

You are in essence an Alien Exterminator. Your ship goes from level to
level and your job is to destroy all the aliens (known as Xenos) by all
means possible. At the end of each level you report back to your
commander and you get various bonus points and you will be told whether
or not you were successful in destroying all the Xenos.

Enemies
= = = = = = = = = =

Here is a brief description of the various enemies you will find
throughout the game.

Critter- Looks kind of like a cross between a mouse and a squid it
normally does 10 damage points but it can latch on and do more damage
your character, though. It is worth 100 points.

Snotterpillar- A large mutant caterpillar, it does 50 damage, by
shooting balls of slime. It is worth 500 points.

Laser Ball- A floating ball that shoots a laser. It does 10 damage
points, by shooing a laser beam it is worth 250 points.

Giant Slime Amoeba- A large wall-like creature. It does 20 damage, if
you bump into it. It is worth 250 points.

Spiderion- Spider/Scorpion hybrid. It shoots bombs that take away 100
damage points each. It is worth 500 points.

Miscellaneous

This game has no ending, no matter how many times you cycle through
the 8 levels. Trust me, I've done it four or five times, this game just
doesn't end no matter how long you play and no matter how hard you try.
The closest you can come to beating the game is getting the max score
of 999,000.

Xenophobe was an arcade game that up to 3 people could play,
originally, that was (obviously) later ported to the NES. Its graphics
weren't quite as good as the ones for NES, but they were fairly
similar, just much, much larger.

A xenophobe is defined as a person who has fear of things unfamiliar
or alien to them, especially strangers. A xeno is a stranger. A
xenophile is the exact opposite of a xenophobe.
