I.  INTRO AND NOTES
-------------------

For those of you who have never played Wrecking Crew before, it is a simple,
first generation game for the NES. Released by Nintendo in 1985 as part of
it’s “Programmable Series”, it features Mario and Luigi from Super Mario
Bros., and of course Mario is the one you play as in 1 player mode. He holds
a hammer and runs through a construction site, demolishing everything he can
in his path. Mario must also dodge numerous enemies while trying to wreck the
level. Another aspect of the game that most people thought was neat was that
you could design your own level with the DESIGN option. Although this game is
old and may look simple, Wrecking Crew is very challenging to even the most
experienced gamer.

II.  VERSION HISTORY
--------------------

v. 0.1 - April 7, 2003
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Much work still needs to be done. However, everything is complete except that
the Walkthrough section (VI) only goes up to level 10 at the moment. The rest
of the levels will be added in future updates.
As of now, there are only level walkthroughs for phases 1-10. If you have any
info, strategies, tips, or tricks for any level or aspect of the game, PLEASE
e-mail me at [email protected]. And, of course, any info you send me that is put
into this guide will be completely credited to you.
******************************************************************************
III.  CONTROLS
--------------
Now, before we get cracking, you need to know how to actually play the game.
Not to worry, the controls are very easy to learn, and there aren’t that
many.
A button – Mario/Luigi swings their hammer
B button – Mario/Luigi swings their hammer
Up       – Makes player climb up ladders
Down     – Makes player climb down ladders
Left     – Moves player to the left
Right    – Moves player to the right
Start    – Pauses game
Select   – Exits current phase
******************************************************************************
IV.  ENEMIES
------------
There are very few enemies in the game, a total of four in all (five is you
consider the fireball an enemy). But, while there is not a broad enemy index,
each one has it's own strategy, and a strategy that can be used on it.
=================
RED GOTCHA WRENCH
=================
The Red Gotcha Wrench is the only enemy in Phase 01, which you will most
likely start on. Therefore, he is the first enemy you meet in the game. Red
Gotcha Wrenches. These annoying creatures follow you around, literally. They
sort of home in on you as you wander around the level, and can be more of a
nuisance than the other enemies, excluding Spike.
However, due to the homing nature of the Red Gotcha Wrench, it is an easy
target to trap behind doors. That essentially gets the enemy out of your way
for that level, unless something goes wrong.
====================
PURPLE GOTCHA WRENCH
====================
The only enemy in the game that wanders around aimlessly, the Purple Gotcha
Wrenches have almost a randomized pattern of movement, but not completely.
Usually the Purple Gotcha Wrenches will walk in the same direction without
turning around. But, in the event that something is blocking there path, they
will turn. They occasionally climb a ladder when they come to one, but not
every time. Sometimes (but rarely) they will just turn around for no reason,
but this does not happen often.
It doesn't take much to trap them behind a door, but take caution when trying
to do so.
============
EGGPLANT MAN
============
The Eggplant Man is a really hard enemy to explain. He starts out going in a
direction, either right or left, and continues walking in that direction
until one of two things happens. (1) He walks into a ladder. In that case, he
will take the ladder up one floor. When he gets there, he will immediately
resume walking in the same direction as before or (2) He walks into an
obstruction and turns around to go the other way.
To trap Eggplant Men, you must use the ability to manipulate there movement.
A bit for the advanced player, trapping Eggplant Men is more difficult than
Wrenches.
=============
FOREMAN SPIKE
=============
Considered the "arch enemy" of the game, if you will, Spike is basically the
antagonist of the game. He looks like Wario from later Mario games, and he is
different from the other three in several ways, but most noticeably he is a
character who is literally in the background of the level. Whenever you trap
an enemy behind a door, they become a part of the background and cannot hurt
you. Spike is an enemy who is permanently in the background, so he can't harm
you by physically coming into contact with you.
His main attack is to swing is hammer at you when your character and he are
lined up, causing you to drop down to the bottom floor of the level. This
readily leads to you getting stuck in a trap or without a ladder to climb up,
resulting in starting the level over.
To counter this, however, you can do the exact same thing to him. If you
swing and hit him before he hits you, he will fall to the ground and either
climb back up or get stuck. You can do this as many times as necessary.  ;)
========
FIREBALL
========
The Fireball is an enemy who, every so often, will form at one side of the
screen and hover over to the other, and then disappear. The course he takes
is a wavelike motion, and he can actually be avoided in a way other than
running to the other side of the screen or heading to a different floor.
The Fireball's rhythm is timed to the music. That is, he will hit the crest
(top) of his wave on the same beat of the music every time. With VERY good
timing you can run under him and not be hit. Although, it's a lot less risky
to just climb to another floor or platform.
******************************************************************************
V.  OBJECTS/ITEMS
-----------------
There are a wide variety of objects to break and obtain and they are all
listed here by category.
=============
LEVEL OBJECTS
=============
These objects are found littered throughout most phases and are a common
sight. All objects listed here can be hit, breaking further down to whether
or not they can actually be destroyed.
//////////////////////
Destructible Stuff
\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\
Normal Wall
-----------
The most common and basic object that must me destroyed in the game. Much
resembling a locker, the normal wall only takes one hit to destroy.
White Brick Wall
----------------
Another common sight, the white wall takes two hits, hence it is two times as
strong as normal walls. These take a little bit more effort to knock down,
but nothing seriously difficult.
Dark Concrete Wall
------------------
The heaviest wall in the game, dark concrete walls take three hits before
they go down, and they can be quite a time waster. With the aid of the Golden
Hammer, though, they are no harder than normal walls.
Explosive (Bomb)
----------------
Hitting an explosive will detonate it, and doing so takes one hit from every
wall that was currently on that floor. For example, if there is a normal
wall, a white brick wall, and a dark concrete wall on the same floor, the
normal wall will be completely destroyyed, the white brick wall will take one
hit (half-destroyed), and the concrete wall will take a third of it's hits.
Hitting an explosive and standing directly in front of it will result in a
hard fall to the bottom floor. To avoid this, simply run to the side of the
bomb right after it is detonated.
Metal Ladder
------------
There two types of ladders in the game, destructible and indestructible. The
metal ladder, white in color, is the destructible one, and in order to pass
to the next phase, every metal ladder must be smashed.
Pillar
------
Pillars support ledges and platforms. They are found in various levels, and
usually will have something sitting on top of them, for instance, a bomb or
wall. By breaking a pillar, you can reach things that you couldn't before,
and sometimes it is crucial that you smash whatever is atop a pillar, esp.
walls and such.
All pillars do not have to be broken in order to finish the level. They only
need to be broken when there is something on top of it that is required to
be destroyed.
////////////////////////
Indestructible Stuff
\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\
Ladder
------
Wooden ladders, although you might think would be the destructible type of
ladder, cannot be destroyed. They are there solely to help you get to another
floor.
Door
----
Doors are used as traps for enemies. By hitting a door with your hammer, you
open it up allowing enemies to pass in and out of the background. You can't
go inside them. When you trap an enemy behind a door, you see their outline
as they continue through the level like normal, but you will not be harmed by
them. Enemies can come out from behind doors as well, if the door is open and
they happen to be passing through.
Barrel
------
Another trap device that is also an obstacle, the barrel is a nuisance in
many ways. You can become trapped between two of them. They are constantly in
the way. They block different routes. Heck, you can even become stuck under
one and be forced to start the level over!
But barrels can be used to trap enemies, too. If a barrel is on top of a
pillar, with correct timing you can smash the pillar, move out of the way,
and allow the barrel to cover the enemy. In all, barrels are just as helpful
as harmful.
====================
SECRET OBJECTS/ITEMS
====================
Not very many secret items or objects, but it's necessary to list them here
anyways.
The Golden Hammer
*****************
Wrecking Crew, although seemingly simple has a few secrets to discover. One
of the most important is the Golden Hammer, a special item that replaces your
usual hammer and is much stronger. With the Golden Hammer, you can destroy
anything with one hit, hit enemies, and swing much, much faster. While
holding it a different music track plays, too. It can only be found by
hitting a certain combination of bombs and is only found in certain levels.
You can mix any combination of three bombs in any order, except that the last
one must always be the same. It is, for that level, the bomb under which the
Golden Hammer lays. But not just any combination will work. If you don’t get
the correct one, a doll or figurine will pop up in its place, and getting it
will give you a certain number of points, as they very from different doll to
doll. You must try different combinations until you finally get the right
one. Another thing to note about this item, it is not always found using the
same bomb combination, but the bomb that needs to be hit last will always
remain the same. Also, if you die with the hammer you lose it, and if you
press select to exit a level (say you get stuck or something) you lose it,
too. The dolls and other figurines do nothing special except give you bonus
points, and besides, the Golden Hammer gives you more than double any amount
when you pick it up they give you. To see specific locations of the Golden
Hammer, check out the Tips and Tricks section.
Doll
****
The Doll is often found in place of the Golden Hammer when the correct
combination is not found. They come in a wide variety, from an average girl's
doll to Santa Claus.
******************************************************************************
VI.  WALKTHROUGH
----------------
In this section, I will guide you through each of the 100 different levels,
or phases, as they are called in the game. They can be played 1 player or 2
player, but not simultaneously. There is a list of what enemies appear in
that particular stage and how many objects there are that you need to
demolish in order to complete the level. Below that, a map of the phase will
be provided. Here’s a key for the maps:
* If you plan on reading this entire FAQ (or most of it), you should probably
 print out the above table, until you get comfortable with the symbols. Hope
 the maps are comprehensive enough!
*NOTE*: Fireball, an enemy who flies across the screen every so often, will
be in every level but not listed as so. See the enemy index for details.
Level setup will be like so:
Phase: What phase number you are on.
Enemies: What types of enemies will be found in the phase. Total: The number
of enemies found in the phase.
Objects: The number of objects that must be destroyed to pass the stage, not
including things that can be destroyed such as bombs and pillars, which don’t
necessarily need to be destroyed to complete a phase.
There will be a map of the phase found here.
The phase walkthrough will be the last thing.
Phase 01
--------
Enemies: Red Wrench; Total Number: 1
Objects: 13
N N             _ N N N
 M     X N N N L   M
 M W W E   L   L   M
     L     L   L C M
_ _ _ L _ D L S _ L _ _
To start out, there are only two ways to get rid of an enemy. You can trap
them behind doors, or get them stuck inside a barrel. I like to take out the
enemy first, so move to where you are positioned in front of the door. The
Red Wrench should start climbing the ladder to try to attack you. When it
reaches the bottom, press A or B to swing your hammer. This will open up the
door. Move a little to the left, out of the doorway (you should be in front
of a ladder), and watch as the Red walks straight into the open door. After a
few seconds, the door will close, trapping him behind it. For the rest of the
level, a dark image of the Wrench will be walking around like normal, but it
will be unable to hurt you.
With the enemy out of the way, proceed to move up the ladder. Smash the two
white walls with your hammer when you reach the top, but ignore the bomb that
is sitting to the right of them. It is of no importance in this stage. When
you’ve done this, climb the metal ladder to your left. Dispose of the two
walls up top and move to the left. You should appear on the same ledge, but
on the other side of the screen. Smash the three walls that appear over here.
Run to the left off the ledge, and knock down the three walls. Continue to
the left and break down the metal ladder from earlier.
Jump off the ledge to the left, and continue walking this direction. On the
other side of the screen, you’ll see a short ladder. Climb up it, smash the
concrete wall, and finally, knock down the metal ladder to the left.
Phase 02
--------
Enemies: Eggplant Men; Total: 3
Objects: 6
           _ S _
         N     L     M
       N       L M   M
               L M E M
     W   B B   L
               L
       C       L
_ D _ _ _ X X X L _ D _
When you start the level, you’ll notice a new enemy, Eggplant Man, has
replaced the old one, and there is more of them. This can make it difficult.
First things first, we need to get them out of our way. Make your way down
the ledges to the left. When you get to the bottom, open the door on the left
and stand next to it (out of harm’s way, of course). All three should hop in.
But, you’ll notice that unlike the last enemy, the Red, these guys freeze
after they’re all in. The door on the other side of the screen will open.
After a while the Eggplant Men will begin to move again, proceeding left.
When they reach the other door, they jump out, the door closes, and they
continue on their way. You can’t close the door with your hammer, either.
Instead, you can trap them back there for the short time allowed, and move up
the ladder to the right.
When you reach the set of metal ladders with a bomb in between them, destroy
the ladders, but leave the bomb. Then, continue up the ladder until you reach
the ledge where you started. Fall off the ledge to the left where there is a
wall. Knock down and continue falling left. Another wall, another demolition.
Lastly, fall to the left a third time to find a white wall. Break it, and
fall to your right. A concrete wall awaits you. Smash it, and we can move on
to Phase 03.
Phase 03
--------
Enemies: Purple Wrench; Total: 1
Objects: 22
D N N N         N N N D
   S L B       L X B
       N D N
D N N N         N N N D
         N D N
D N N N         N N N D
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
Phase 03 is an easy level. You may have noticed the enemy on the opposite
side of the screen. From where you begin, climb up the ladder and walk to the
left. Once on the other side, open the door.
When he has been trapped inside, proceed to demolish the walls to your left.
Walk back to the other side, and destroy those, too. Jump on the barrel from
the ledge, and fall to the right. Destroy the two walls found here. Fall to
your left, and smash all of the walls on this row. Drop to your left, break
the bricks. Below you to the right, the last row of walls is waiting. Destroy
all of theme down here, and your task is over.
Phase 04
--------
Enemies: Red Wrench; Total: 2
Objects: 18
       E W N
 _ _ _ P P P _ _ _ _
 E C C C E C C C E L
   L
   L E W W W W W E
                 L
     N N E N N N L
 X X _ _ _ L _ S _ _ _
This stage is all about quickness. There are no methods to trap your enemies
in this stage, so first, you need to walk to the right. The two Reds should
be coming towards you. When you’ve reached the other side, the enemies will
still be walking that direction, and that gives you more time to do what you
need to do.
Climb up the ladder and smash every wall on this ledge, starting from the
left going right, once again ignoring the bomb. When you have destroyed all
of the walls, ascend the next ladder. Obliterate the white walls you find on
this strip, leaving the explosives. The enemies should be catching up to you.
Not to worry, though, because if you’re fast enough you’ll finish the level
without ever having to deal with them. If you feel they are too close for
comfort, simply fall off the nearest ledge, and repeat the process from the
beginning of the stage. Anyway, continue left and go up the ladder and knock
down the six concrete walls that you find here.
On the next ledge up, you’ll encounter pillars for the first time. When you
hit a pillar with your hammer, it sinks, bringing whatever was directly above
it down. In this way, you can trap enemies under barrels. Knock down the
pillar with the normal wall above it and the one next to it with a white
wall. Ignore the third, which has an explosive on it. Destroy the two walls,
and the level comes to a close.
o-----------o
Bonus Stage
o-----------o
Objective: To find the coin hidden in one of the walls before your nemesis
Spike does.
N N N N N N N N N N N N N N N N
               L
_ _ _ Z _ _ _ _ L _ _ _ _ S _ _
The only objective there is in this Bonus stage is to find a coin that is
hidden in a randomly chosen wall before Spike gets it. There is a counter
situated above the playing field that starts out at 5000. Each second you
spend looking for the coin, the total drops by 100. Whenever you find the
coin, you are awarded the total number of points remaining in the counter.
There are only two ways you can lose this game. Spike may find the coin
first, or the counter will run out of time (points). That is less likely to
happen. If you lose, you get no points and the game moves on.
An interesting point to note is that this is the first time you meet Spike,
and you will learn to despise him. Spike is the cause of difficulty in most
of the later levels. This is because he can knock you down by hitting you
with his hammer and you will end up at the bottom of the screen, or he will
knock something over before it needs to be destroyed, resulting in you
starting the phase over. While we’re on the topic, there are a few strategies
to make levels involving Spike easier. One, you should constantly be on the
move, because, as stated earlier, he can knock you off your ledge (not
damaging you, though). Also, he can be knocked off the same exact way by
doing the same thing he does. Stand in front of a breakable object and wait
for him to come running over. When he his directly behind the object, smash
it and he will fall to the bottom story. Always be on the watch when you know
that Spike is around.
Phase 05
--------
Enemies: Purple Wrench; Total: 5
Objects: 5
 X   X   X   X   X   B
 M   M   M   M   M   B
 M   M   M   M   M   B
 M   M   M   M   M   B
 M   M   M   M   M   B
 M   M S M   M   M   B
Hands down one of the top five easiest levels in the game. All you have to do
is when the level begins, immediately run to the first ladder on the far
left, knock it down, move over to the one on the right, knock it down, etc.
If you don’t stop moving than the enemies that fall from the tops of the
ladders will not touch you. It’s as easy as that. In case they get you right
at the end, if you knocked down all five ladders you have nothing to worry
about. It moves you on anyway.
Phase 06
--------
Enemies: Red Wrench; Total: 2
Objects: 26
N N N N N M E M N N N N
L         M X M       L
L         M X M       L
L N N N N M N M N N N L
L E       M B M     E L
L N N N N M P M N N N L
L         M   M       L
L E _ _ _ M S M _ _ E L
Climb the ladder on the left. Get off at the ledge where there is a pillar in
between the two ladders. When a Red Wrench gets close, hit the pillar and
walk to the right. He will follow you, but is stopped short by a barrel
falling from the sky. Score! One down, one to go. Well, actually, that was
the only method of trapping enemies available on this stage.
So, without wasting any time, run to your right and eliminate the three walls
there. Proceed up the ladder, past the bomb, and blast the three walls on the
ledge above it. Also, grab the wall on this same ledge that is sitting in the
middle of the two metal ladders. Ascend the white ladder on right until you
get to the top, and head right, demolishing every wall you come across ‘till
that platform is clear. You should be on the top left ledge on the screen.
Descend the left white ladder, until you get to the next row that contains
walls. The Wrench may be getting close, but just simply dodge him. Or, easier
yet, run in the direction that he is walking until you circle the screen. If
you understood what I meant, you should be able to buy some more time for
yourself  ;).
Finally, climb down to the remaining four walls (the third row, left side).
Destroy them, and jump down to the bottom of the screen. Knock over the two
metal ladders in the center and you will be finished.
Phase 07
--------
Enemies: Purple Wrench, Spike; Total: 3
Objects: 4
     X B N N B X
         M M
         M M
         M M
         M M
         M M
         M M
     Z E M M E S______
There are several things to note about this phase. First of all, it is the
first level to mix different types of enemies. More importantly, you
encounter Spike for the first time (in an actual level, anyway). When you
start the level, sit for a second to see what Spike will do. If he starts
running to the left, immediately climb the ladder closest to you. The most
important task at the moment is getting to the top to destroy the two walls
found there before any ladders get destroyed (because, remember, Spike can do
exactly what you can, which includes breakin’ stuff!) If you happen to make
it to the top without him causing trouble, destroy both walls. Then, climb or
fall to the bottom to destroy the two metal ladders.
Sometimes, though, Spike will break a ladder before you reach the top causing
you to fall. When this happens, he will almost always destroy another one in
the same manner. This can cause you to have to restart the level several
times. Sometimes, he will climb the ladder with you, and when you get to the
top, he will break the wall you are standing in front of, causing you to
plummet to the bottom (on a side note, you can do the same to him).
Phase 08
--------
Enemies: Eggplant Men; Total: 4
Take the ladder on your right. Climb to the very top, on the right side,
waiting for the Eggplant Men to get caught in their cycle at the bottom of
the screen. These enemies are easy to avoid because they always go forward
without turning. If they come across a ladder, they take it, and when they
get to the bottom (or top) of it, they continue in the same direction.
Looking at the map, notice their starting positions (BTW, they all will be
traveling left). If you follow their course using the knowledge you have
about them, you see they end up repeating the bottom two ledges.
With this in mind, destroy the ladder in the top right hand corner, and do
the same to the one in its relative location on the other side of the screen.
Keep traveling down the ladders, repeating the above process. When you reach
the second platform from the bottom, and there should only be two metal
ladders left (on the bottom, of course), wait for the line of Eggplant Men to
pass. Following behind the last one, proceed to demolish the two remaining
ladders on the bottom floor.
Bonus Stage
Objective: To find the coin hidden in one of the walls before your nemesis
Spike does.
The only objective there is in this Bonus stage is to find a coin that is
hidden in a randomly chosen wall before Spike gets it. There is a counter
situated above the playing field that starts out at 5000. Each second you
spend looking for the coin, the total drops by 100. Whenever you find the
coin, you are awarded the total number of points remaining in the counter.
There are only two ways you can lose this game. Spike may find the coin
first, or the counter will run out of time (points). That is less likely to
happen. If you lose, you get no points and the game moves on.
Really, there are only two differences between this Bonus stage and the last
one. The level is green instead of orange, and there are white brick walls in
addition to the normal ones.
Phase 09
Enemies: Purple Wrench, Spike; Total: 3
Objects: 26
When the level begins, don’t worry about Spike just yet. Walk over to the
ladder on the left, and go up it. BTW, if at any point Spike breaks a ladder
somewhere and you can’t get up, start over and follow the guide again. When
you reach the top, wait for the enemies to reach the platform you are on. As
soon as they do, they’ll start coming towards you so run to the left, and you
should end up on the other side of the screen. Climb the ladder and detonate
the bomb that is closest to you. The explosion knocks you all the way down to
the bottom, but destroys everything on that particular platform. DO NOT use
an explosive unless otherwise told to, because most in the time it’ll hurt
more than it will help you.
When you land, immediately ascend the ladder to the right. Walk left and blow
up the bomb there. Once again on the bottom platform, detonate the bomb on
the left side, and quickly destroy the remaining ladder(s) in this section,
to disable the Wrenches from coming down here. Destroy any walls left
standing, which should only be the three normal walls to the right.
Also, the outcome of any level with Spike in it can be changed a little bit
here and there because he can destroy things. As long as he doesn’t destroy
anything that can determine if you will win or not, such as a ladder or bomb,
you should be okay.
Phase 10
Enemies: Eggplant Men; Total: 2
Objects: 17
 M E   N M   N E M   _
L _ L       X L B M _ B
Knock out the wall that sits to your right at the start. Let the Eggplant Man
pass beneath you, then fall down to the left. Destroy the wall that you land
in front of, and quickly climb down the ladder under you, run to your left,
climb this ladder, and finally climb the tall ladder you find here. When you
reach the summit, destroy the five walls found here without using explosives,
as there is no need for this because you aren’t trying to escape from
anybody.
Fall down to your right and you should land on a small ledge with a ladder on
it. Climb it, break the wall, and get back down. Jump down on the platform
with a normal wall, bomb, and pillar, respectively (i.e., the one underneath
you). Bust down the wall, and descend the ladder under the bomb. Move to the
left, fall, and walk over to the metal ladder on the left. Go up it,and
proceed to knock down the pillar farthest left. Before you do, make sure he
is not right above your head so he doesn’t fall on top of it!
The Eggplant Man should walk off the edge and end up in the cycle that his
fellow Man is in. Crush the remaining two pillars and the walls that come
down from atop them, and climb back down the ladder. Get off to the right
before you reach the bottom, though, and demolish the little white ladder
over there. Then you can climb all the way down and destroy this ladder.
Knock down the wall that is on this ledge, also. There are only two things
remaining, both being metal ladders. Watch the Eggplant Men for a second to
determine where you can fall in line without getting hurt. Jump from the
small ledge, and follow the enemies. Break down the first metal ladder they
bring you to, and keep following them to find the last ladder, which is in
between two barrels in the bottom right corner.
VII.  DESIGN MODE
-----------------
Wrecking Crew has not only good gameplay, but a feature that many games of
that day, and even games today, do not have, a design mode. You can make your
own levels using the objects and enemies found in the game. The game gives
you a blank level to work with, and you put whatever you want wherever you
want it. This is why, if you didn’t catch on already, it is a part of the
Programmable Series. Just like Excitebike, another cool game for the NES
where you could design levels.
You can design up to four phases, and play each after they are complete.
However, you can not save them for use after you shut the game off and turn
it back on again. I don’t know why Nintendo did this, maybe a save feature
was to be added and then they decided not to. Who knows. None the less, it’s
fun to fool around with after you’ve beaten the game and you still want more.
VIII.  TIPS AND TRICKS
----------------------
Various secrets and tricks in Wrecking Crew can be found here. If there's
anything not listed here that I don't know about, promptly e-mail me with the
secret/trick.
LOCATIONS OF THE GOLDEN HAMMER
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
04 – On the 4th ledge, it’s under the bomb on the right
06 – 4th row, bomb on the left
21 – Under the only bomb on the bottom floor
22 – Only bomb on the 6th row
31 – Under the bomb on the 3rd row
34 – It’s on the 2nd row and is the bomb second from the left
36 – On the bottom row, 3rd bomb from the left
43 – 5th row, far left bomb
44 – Bomb on the 7th row
47 – Only bomb on the 4th row
51 – 7th row, 3rd bomb from the left
55 – On the 4th row, bomb on the far right
60 – Top row, bomb on the right
66 – Under the bomb on the right on the 2nd ledge
67 – Bomb on the 3rd row
75 – 8th row bomb
80 – 2nd row, bomb on the right
83 – Bomb on the left on the 2nd row
84 – 5th row, on the right
Any time that the Golden Hammer does not come up, but instead, a Doll
appears, that is a signal that you have done the combo incorrectly, and need
to try again.
The rows, or ledges, are listed from bottom to top; 1st is the bottom row,
8th being the top one. By the way, if anyone finds another stage that has the
Golden Hammer in it, e-mail me and I’ll test it out.
