Welcome to 'TM Network Live in Power Bowl' for the NES, released by Epic Sony
Record in 1989.

The guide uses Shift-JIS to display Japanese characters in .txt form. If you
cannot see them automatically and just see some garbled font, set your browser
encoding or file viewer manually.

This game is a text adventure. To play you need to have extensive knowledge of
the Japanese language. Thus this walkthrough is intended for players who are
able to read and understand the text. You can still try to match the actions
to the displayed characters, but if you do not understand the storyline then
there is little point in playing the game.

02.)                    OVERVIEW & CONTROLS                          G0200

TM NETWORK is a Japanese Pop or J-Rock band. Consisted of Tetsuya Komuro
(Keyboardist), Takashi Utsunomiya (Vocalist) and Naoto Kine (Guitarist). In
1989 they were one of the most popular rock bands in Japan.

As the story goes, at the end of 1999 a satellite misfunctions and attacks the
Earth. You travel back in time 10 years to the last days of 1989 to fix the
error with TM Network's help.

Input your hero/heroine name at the beginning as you desire.

A  Action
B  Cancel
There are also some more uses for the buttons, as explained in the walkthrough
when you get to that point.

Previously used commands don't usually need to be repeated unless you press B
to cancel and get to the start of choices. For example, if you still have the
green arrow from the previous selection, then there is no need to back out and
reselect the "look" command.

ミル for Password when offered at certain points during the story.

The display is quite basic. The top part has the current location and
story pictures. The lower part shares the menus and story text.

You have to crawl through the shafts. The map has three colorful dots. The blue
one is you, the red one are the enemies and the yellow is the destination you
want to reach. Don't get caught on the way, often the red one looks like it is
following but it also happens that it goes the other way when it is really
close. The best way is to first go straight (south) past the half-way mark.
Then go all the way east to the other end, continue north but take the next
turn left when you can. Turn right the next chance you get and then turn
towards the exit. When you get the kid, backtrack to the white arrow where you
started. This will depend on how the red arrows are behaving, but you should
try to get the shorted route through the middle if you can.

Now you have to drive the truck. Use A to accelerate, B to break. The
directional buttons don't turn too well, the truck kind of slides to the side
but it is often to late to avoid hazzards. If you let the truck take damage
then you go back to the beginning. Drive carefully on the left side of the
road. Watch out for slow cars, parked cars, broken down cars, cars following
you and cars coming towards you too closely. Going slow is one way to help, but
often it is unavoidable having to go towards the other side of the street. At
the traffic lights, turn into one direction to eventually get back to the
studio. I'm not sure what triggers this, it seems to happen at random points
when you have driven around enough. Use these commands to steer:
ひだり Turn Left
みぎ Turn Right
ちょくしん Continue Straight

After you arrive at the studio...
まるのうちけんきゅうじょ
まるやまきょうじゅに わたす

After a many conversations, a countdown starts in the top right corner. Wait
until it his 00 and press the START button to the get good ending.
