::INTRODUCTION::.

The Three Stooges.  One of the most popular group of comedians ever.  In
The Three Stooges, it is your job to control Moe, Larry, and Curly.  Your
objective.  Make enough money to pay the rent for an orphanage.  Your
enemy is the Fleecem Banker, who wants to shut down the orphanage.  You
have 30 days to make enough money.  Good luck!  You'll notice when you
start the game.  You will see a Ghostbusters II screen.  Then you'll hear
audio from the Three Stooges about being in the wrong game.  Then they
will walk to their game.

This game also has the option of two players.  If you play this way, both
players will take turns, and the game will still be similar to the one
player mode.

Getting $5000 is enough to buy the orphanage.

::CONTROLS::.

>>CONTROL PAD
Move character in events, or move other object.  Speed up/slow down in
some events.  In events which have 3 choices, such as the Help Wanted
Waiter, and the Trivia, you press the LEFT, RIGHT, or UP and DOWN
directions to move.  LEFT direction is always used for the left
character/item.  The RIGHT direction is used for the right
character/item.  The UP and DOWN directions choose the center
character/item.

>>SELECT BUTTON
Pauses game.  Cannon be used in all events though.

>>START BUTTON
Pauses the game.  Cannot be used in all events though.

>>B BUTTON
Same as the A button.  Used to jump, stop the event selection, use items,
etc.

>>A BUTTON
Same as the B button.

::GAMES/EVENTS::.

When you play the game, you will notice there is a random event selector.
You can stop this on the event of your choosing by hitting the A or B
button.  Beware of the mousetraps, as they will take your fingers(your
lives).  The farther you progress through the game(the more days), the
faster the hand switches between events.


~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~HELP WANTED
WAITERS~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

In this event, you will serve pies....to the faces of the customers!  You
will have to pay attention to this event, as you control all three
stooges.  Moe is near the top, Curly in the middle, and Larry on the
bottom.  Oh yeah, you'll be working at the Hoite Toite Club.

    Character Directions:

    LEFT    - Moe
    UP/DOWN - Curly
    RIGHT   - Larry


  -(Throwing Pies)-

    To throw a pie, press the A or B button, then that characters
direction.  Moe is LEFT, Curly is UP or DOWN, and Larry is RIGHT.

  -(Ducking)-

    You duck by simply pressing a characters direction.


~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~HELP WANTED
DOCTORS~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

In this event you will be collecting red crosses, while dodging patients
and hoping to reach the operation room.  You have 100 seconds to collect
as many red crosses as possible.  Speed up by pressing the UP direction,
and slow down by press the DOWN direction.  Move left or right by
pressing the LEFT or RIGHT directions.  To reach the operation room,
simply make it to the end of the board before time runs out.  The Stooges
will crash into the operating room.  However much time is left will be
multiplied by 15, and is then added in with the medical supplies to get
your total amount of money.  Try staying right behind the doctor in front
of you, and keeping a speedy pace.  That way you can usually make it to
the operation room without losing a lot of time, or running into as many
patients as you would normally.

  -(Time)-

    100 seconds to get as many supplies possible.
    -10 seconds if you hit a patient.

  -(Money)-

    $15 for every second in the operating room.
    $5 for each of the medical supplies picked up.

Answer questions about the Three Stooges.  You always have 3 choices.

  -(Answers)-

    A - Press the LEFT button, and hold it, while pressing the A or B
button.
    B - Same as A, but press UP or DOWN direction to select it.
    C - Same as A and B, but press the RIGHT direction to select it.

In this event, you return to the Hoite Toite club.  Your objective is to
eat the crackers before the oysters can.  You get $10 per cracker.  And
$50 per bowl.  Simply press the A or B button to eat a cracker, while
using the control pad to guide you to them.


~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~BOXING~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Killer Killduff is your opponent.  Your objective is to control Larry
through the sidewalk, while dodging poles, ladders, sleeping people, fire
hydrants, and boxes.  The objective is to run Larry to the radio shop and
get a radio so Curly will be able to hear "Pop Goes the Weasel."  Curly
will be in the ring, and he has to survive 6 rounds with ol' Killer
Killduff.  You have to make it to the end of the sidewalk and back before
round 6.  If you do, you win $500.

  -(Controls)-

    A Button - Jump
    B Button - Jump
    Control Pad - Press the UP or DOWN direction to move your character
up or down.  Press the RIGHT or LEFT direction to speed up, or slow down
your character.

This is not a game, but rather, it snaps of your fingers, which are your
lives.  You have 4 lives, and once all your fingers are snapped off, game
is over.  The game does not count the thumb as a finger/life.


~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~SAFE~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

This option is not a game either.  Instead, you return a safe that has
fallen on Curly's head.  Your reward for your honesty is $500.  Or
sometimes you get deducted $1000 for breaking the safe on Curly's head.

Another non-game event.  You'll either get a letter saying you'll never
make enough money, or you will have to pay for the safe.

This will lead you to either money, Fleecem Banker, or nothing at all.

My favorite event.  You just find a bag of money.  No work involved!
I've seen the money range from $100 to $1000.

FINGER~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

This just causes you to waste a day.


~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~MOE AND
CURLY~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

At first glance, this event may seem to be useless.  But later in the
game it is extremely helpful.  Pushing different button combinations
allows Moe, Larry, and Curly to do some classic Stooges slapstick comedy
routines.  Hitting Larry or Curly moves the meter towards "Slower",
missing causes it to move towards "Faster".  What this does is change the
speed of the even selector.  The slower it is, the easier it is to choose
what you want.
