As you begin the game, you are allowed to select what level to play. |        |
You will notice a total of eight planets with four different samurais|   8 7  |
around the screen, one next to each planet. Make sure you are        |  2 4 6 |
looking at the walkthrough for the correct stage. Look at the chart  | 1 3 5  |
to the right to see how the stage layout is in the stage select      |________|
screen.

Stage 1
________________________________________

Move slightly to the right and kill the first enemy that will appear. He will
drop an item that allows you to change samurais. Pick it up and since this is
one of the worse samurais. Now jump onto the wall and move to the right while
jumping onto the highest platform. Avoid the next enemy and kill the bird
floating around. Continue to the right on the top platforms. Kill the enemy
after the first jump and move to the right. Fall off the end of the roof and
jump onto the middle platform when you reach it. Move to the right until the
first enemy appears. Kill him and jump onto the highest platform. Kill this
enemy and move to the far right until you reach the end of this roof.

Jump across the small platforms here to avoid falling in the gaps while killing
the enemies in your way. Now just continue to the right along the highest
platforms when you can. You will eventuallly reach the boss when you get to the
end of the buildings. This boss is fairly simple. He will stay along the ground
at all times but he is quick. He will quickly move towards you and then stop.
When he stops, he will swing each sword once. He will then stand there for a
couple of seconds and then move quickly towards you again to attack. That is
all he does. Simply time your jumps so you're in the air when he stops to
attack and attack him during his breaks. Keep doing this until he dies.

Stage 2
________________________________________

Move to the right and you will see an enemy appear behind you. Kill him if you
want. Move to the right and kill or jump over the enemies in your way. When the
platforms get really low, two flying enemies will appear. They will just float
in their stationary spots and shoot at you. Move further to the right and kill
some more ground enemies. When the platforms get really low again, another
flying enemy will appear. Move just a little further to the right and you will
see small blocks above a large pit. Jump onto the first block. Two floating
enemies will appear. Hold jump to jump really high and as you move to the next
block, another flying monster will appear right in front of you. Jump on top of
him to bounce off and make it to the next platform. Jump across the next two
blocks and land on the regular platform for an enemy to appear.

Enter what appears to be a space station for three enemies to drop down right
in front of you. Easily kill these and move to the right until you the dice
floating around. Simply avoid them since they don't really attack and jump over
the next gap while you avoid the two floating monsters. The next gap will be
pretty big but there will be floating monsters on the bottom of the screen.
Simply jump on their heads to bounce across here. Jump over the spikes while
you kill a couple more enemies. The next area will be a pain. Try to kill all
the enemies you come across and make small jumps so you don't hit the spikes in
the ceiling. Move a little further for the boss. This boss will float around in
circles on the right side of the screen and either shoot one or two shots. I
suggest standing on the small platform to the left to shoot and just avoiding
his shots until he dies.

Stage 3
________________________________________

Fall down to the lower platform and kill the two enemies down here. Move to the
left and fall down the pit to reach the next screen. There will be one ground
enemy and two flying enemies, kill them and fall down the next pit. There will
be two ground enemies on each platform, kill them and fall down another pit for
the next screen. There will be two enemies on the middle platform and one on
each sider on the lower platforms. Kill them and drop down again. There will be
two floating enemies along the top and along the bottom of this screen. They
are pretty strong so just jump down and avoid them while you fall into the next
screen. Kill the enemy on the higher platform here and time a jump to go down
the next pit in between the lower enemies' shots. Kill the two enemies on the
higher platform and the one on the lower and then go down the pit. Just hug the
right wall to fall straight into the next screen. There will be one enemy on
each of these platforms, the lowest will shoot at you. Kill them one at a time
and fall down the pit in the bottom left.

There will be two ground enemies around the middle and one flying enemy near
them. Kill them so you can reach the hole on the right side. Bounce off the
highest floating enemy here and move straight to the gap on the left. Climb the
stairs while killing the enemies to the right and fall down the hole. Kill the
two enemies on the right half of the screen and fall down the hole. Hug the
right wall and fall down the next hole. Kill the three enemies in this room and
fall down the hole to the left while making sure not to hit the spikes on the
sides. You will now face the boss. He will shoot a slow fireball immediately by
a fast fireball and then teleport somewhere on the screen along the ground.
Just jump really high during the first shot to avoid both of them. He will
teleport far right, middle, far left, middle, far right, middle, and far left.
After that, he will be about 1/4 of the width of the room from the right wall
and a 1/4 of the width from the left wall. He will repeat that one more time
and then repeat the whole pattern until you beat him.

Stage 4
________________________________________

Fall down and move to the right. Two enemies will appear, kill the one in front
of you and then the one behind you if you want. Continue to the right when
ready. Move to the edge of this higher platform for three enemies to appear in
the lower platform below. Kill them and then jump onto the higher platform.
Kill the next enemy that appears and move to the edge of the next platform. An
enemy will appear on the conveyor belt. Kill him if you have a ranged weapon or
jump and carefully kill him. Move to the right and an enemy will be on the next
platform. Once you hit him, he will fly around so hit him again. Continue
jumping across the conveyor belts. Jump off the conveyor belts and more enemies
will appear below you. Try to jump over all of them and continue by climbing
the platforms to the right. Kill the enemy on the next low conveyor belt and
move to the next higher platform. Jump next to it for an enemy to fall down
from the top. Kill him and do the same thing on the highest platform, kill him
too.

Kill the enemies on the next conveyor belts and jump over the spikes. Jump up
and hop on the conveyor belts. Crouch below the spikes here and kill the enemy
in the middle. Hop across the lower conveyor belts when you reach them while
killing the enemies. Climb up when you reach the end to the higher platforms
and continue to the right when you reach the top. Move across the conveyor
belts when you reach them in the tight hall while killing any enemies that
appear in front of you. Jump across the next two conveyor belts while killing
enemies in your way. The next room will have the boss. He will move quickly
from side to side with his sword out. Whenever he stops, he will fire two shots
at you. After the two shots, he'll charge each side again. Simply stay in the
middle and jump over the shots and his charge while you shoot him whenever you
can. It could be tough when you only have melee characters so be careful. Try
to lead your jump into him when he stops charging and then run.

Stage 5
________________________________________

You will start this stage with enemies directly in front of you and behind you.
Kill them or jump over one so you don't have to worry about one behind you.
Drop to the lower platform and kill the two enemies down there too. Fall down
to the next screen. There will be an enemy on a higher platform and in the
bottom platform so kill them both and fall down the right or middle hole to the
next screen. Avoid the flying enemies and forget the shooting enemy to the
left. Just fall down the hole in the middle. Kill the two enemies on the
higher platform you land on and the one on the lower platform. Fall down the
left hole to land right on the middle platform and kill the two enemies here.
Continue downward and kill the lower enemy, drop into the next screen. Kill the
two enemies on the higher platform and drop to the lower to kill another enemy.
Move to the bottom left for the next screen.

These flying enemies have a lot of health so avoid them and drop to the next
screen. Kill the two lowest enemies and drop to another screen. Drop down each
platform while killing off the enemies and drop to the next screen. Kill the
two lower enemies and fall to the next screen. Jump to the left and kill the
enemy in the top left. Drop down the gap when the birds are off to the right
side. Kill the enemy on the higher platform and then the lower enemies. Go down
the bottom right corner for the next screen. Jump down to the next screen while
avoiding these enemies and kill the enemy on the higher platform. Bounce off
the birds on the bottom to avoid the spikes and go down the hole. Kill the
enemy to the upper left and go down the hole for the next screen. You will
fight an easy boss. Just hit the statue and avoid its shots. It will shoot
either four or five shots at a time then stop. When it stops is your chance to
attack. Just make sure to avoid its attacks until you defeat it.

Stage 6
________________________________________

Jump to the lower right platform and kill the enemy. Forget about the floating
enemies and drop down to the next screen. Hug the right side and avoid all the
enemies, just move to the right and fall straight down to the next screen. Kill
these two enemies and drop down again. Stick to the right side and drop to the
next screen. Kill the enemies in the top left and drop down. Kill the enemy to
the right and move to the next screen. Kill the enemies to the left and drop
down. You have to kill the floating enemy blocking the drop so you may want to
kill the lower ground enemy. Kill the enemies here and fall down the hole to
the right. Kill the lowest floating enemy when you land and drop down the next
hole for another screen.

Kill the enemies here as you move to the bottom of the screen and drop down.
Skip the floating enemies and drop down again. Drop down the right hole while
you avoid that floating enemy. Kill the enemies here and head for the bottom
left corner. Kill the enemy in the bottom left and jump around while attacking
the space around you. You will reveal some hidden blocks, use those to climb to
the top. Do that again to reach the next higher platform and drop to the next
screen in the bottom right corner. Drop down the next hole in the middle and
you will reach the boss. He will shoot his hands out. The hands will float
around and shoot too. He will shoot out of his head as well so be careful since
a lot of lasers are flying at you. After a while, his head will float around as
well. Try to destroy the hands and attack the boss whenever you can until he
dies.

Stage 7
________________________________________

Move to the right and two enemies will fall from the top of the screen. Forget
about the left enemy and kill the enemy to the right. Continue to the right
while killing any enemies that fall in front of you. Jump onto the higher
platform and kill the two enemies up there. Kill the floating enemies and jump
onto the next platform. Kill the enemies here as you continue to the right.
Keep moving to the right while killing enemies in the way. When you get inside,
jump and attack just below and to the left of the platform to reveal a hidden
block. Use it to reach the higher platform and continue to the right. Three
enemies will fall down when you reach the middle of this platform, kill them.

Move to the right and break the blocks to the left of the lower platform.
Continue down and to the right while you kill a couple more enemies. Jump over
the gaps and kill the enemies in your way. Climb to the top of the platforms
when you get inside again and kill the higher enemy. Break the blocks to the
right and fall down. Bounce across the floating enemies to get over this large
gap. Jump around the next room while attacking to reveal some more hidden
blocks. Use them to break through the wall in the top right to get outside once
more. Move to the right while killing the enemies until you get to the boss.
This boss will charge across side to side. Whenever he stops, he will fire a
slow shot and then a quick shot. Avoid those shots and the charge. Attack him
you can until he dies.

Stage 8
________________________________________

An enemy will drop on each side. Kill them and drop down to the next screen
when you're ready. Kill the enemies here and drop down to the next screen. Kill
the two enemies in the middle platforms and then the teleporting enemy on the
bottom. Fall down the hole to the left and kill the two enemies on the lower
platform. Drop down the next platform to the next screen. An enemy will be
immediately to the left of you so hurry to the right. Just avoid the enemies in
this room and fall down to the next screen. Kill these enemies while you fall
down to the next screen. Stay in the middle and fall down the next hole
immediately. Kill the enemy on the higher platform and near the bottom as you
make your way to the next screen.

Kill the two part enemy in the bottom left and move behind him for the next
screen. Hug the left wall and fall down to the next screen. Kill the two
teleporting enemies and the third standard enemy, fall down the hole to the
right for the next screen. Kill these two enemies and go down the hole in the
middle. Immediately move to the higher platform on either side and kill the
enemy as they fall with you. Fall down the left side for the next screen and
avoid the enemies in the top right. Kill the two part enemy in the bottom left
and fall down the left hole. Fall down to the bottom and kill the lower
enemies, fall down the hole for the next screen for the boss. The boss will
make two small bounces and then one large one as it moves from side to side. It
will then take two quick shots at you and bounce the same way to the other
side. Just keep attacking him while you avoid his jumps and attacks.

Stage 9
________________________________________

You will begin this stage by selecting which character you want to use. The
stage is the same for every character so just pick whichever you want. Make
your way to the right and enemies will appear on the higher platforms as you
approach them. Kill them and continue to the right. Kill a couple more enemies
and jump over the gap. Climb the platforms to get over the wall and continue to
the right. Bounce across the floating enemies to make it to the next set of
platforms. Bounce off some more enemies to the last platform. Kill the enemy
there and continue to the right. Kill some enemies until you reach the highest
platform here. There will be two teleporting enemies so be careful. Kill them
and bounce across the next set of floating enemies to get over the large gap.
Use the next floating enemies to get past the next set of gaps without hitting
the spikes on the ceiling.

Bounce across the next set of enemies to get to the next platform. Jump to the
higher platform without hitting the spikes on the ceiling. In the middle of the
platform, floating enemies will appear so kill them. Continue to the right
while killing the enemies in your way. Jump across these gaps and kill the
enemies until you reach the boss. He will shoot at a shot that will reach
around the middle and break into three shots. His movements will be jumping
from side to side. Avoid the shots and stay low while you attack him until he
dies. After he dies, another character will come out and turn into a boss. She
will fire two shots that will push you to the far side if it hits you. She will
float along the top to the other side while dropping bombs. Avoid her attacks
and just keep attacking her until she dies. When she dies, you'll free her from
the robot controlling her and complete the game.
