0. Introduction AND Version History
There isn't much to say about this faq, except that it will try to cover
as many aspects of the Saint Seiya manga/anime/games as possible. I will
be giving information about each character and where can you see them,
apart from general information about the characters and (perhaps) about
the anime/manga series. Be aware that I don't have the manga, but I've
seen the anime several times, so sometimes what I remember may not be
very accurate. You, fans, are more than invited to mail me with
information I may have forgotten or that is unaccurate! Also, this faq is
about the Saint Seiya series, and covers the following games:
- "Saint Seiya 1" (NES)
- "Saint Seiya 2" (NES)
- "Seitoushi Saint Paradise" (GB)
- "Seitoushi Seiya: Ougon Densetsuhen Perfect Edition" (WSC)
- "Saint Seiya: Chapter Sanctuary" (PS2)

1. Characters' data
Here you will be able to read data about each of the characters from the
series, including which games they appear in. All the characters are given
in this shape:
[Name]: the name of the character
[Cloth]: the name of his cloth, if any
[Age]: his/her age
[Height]: his/her height
[Weight]: his/her weight
[Birthday]: given in a month/day way
[Blood type]: his/her blood type
[Home]: where he/she were born
[Games]: which games they appear in, "other" will me an unofficial game,
and I will also try to say if he is "playable" or he is just
"seen" in the game
Hope everyone likes it! :) By giving the information in this way, it is
easier to understand, at least in my point of view! Also, if you are a fan
from the series and you find something terribly wrong around here be sure

2. Sagas' data
Around here you will be able to read some small ammounts of the story of
each saga, and also the reference to which games they appear in. All the
sagas are written in this mode:
[Name]: Name of the saga
[Number of episodes]: number of episodes this saga takes (in the anime)
[Number of chapters]: number of chapters this saga takes (in the manga)
[Description]: a SMALL description of the saga
[Games]: a reference to which games the saga appears in. "Other" will be
used when an unofficial game covers it, but please don't ask me
which game, as I won't make publicity to unoffical products.
I hope that fans enjoy this, and if you find anything terribly wrong
around here be sure to mail me with the correct information.

[Description]: The first saga of the series. It starts when Seiya gets his
first Pegasus Cloth up to the point where they decide going
to the Sanctuary. The main characters get to fight among
themselves in a tournament, have to recover the pieces of
the Sagittarius Golden Cloth (ending with a battle against
Shu's brother, Ikki) and even have to battle Silver Saints.

[Description]: Seiya, Shun, Hyoga and Shiryu will have to cross the 12
temples of the Sanctuary in order to face the Pope and save
Saori's life. Along the way they will have to face powerful
foes, as the Gold Saints are their most powerful enemies up
to that moment, and start to awaken their 7th sense.

[Number of episodes]: 26
[Number of chapters]: - (not released in the manga)
[Description]: Some time after the previous chapter, the ices on the north
started melting. Seiya and his friends must get the armor
of Odin, in order to take the Nibelhugen ring from Hilda of
Polaris, which was controlling her. However, that won't be
an easy task, since they will have to face the Norse
Knights, rumored to be even more powerful than the Gold
Saints. At the end of the saga a new foe appears, which is
a servent of Posidon, taking us to the next saga.

[Description]: Appears that controlling Hilda with the ring was a plan of
Posidon, god lord of the seas. He planned on covering the
entire world with water, so that he could rule everywhere.
Now, he captured Saori, who is being held captive inside
the main pillar. In order to destroy it and saving both
Saori and the world, they will have to destroy the pillars
supporting each of the 7 seas, defeating Posidon's servents
in the process.

[Description]: it is still under production, but it is composed by 2
different "seasons" up to now, the first one called
"Sanctuary Chapter" and the new one called "Inferno
Chapter"

[Description]: the anime isn't produced yet, except for a prologue movie
