NOTE: I've added a Search Engine into all my FAQs now. To use this, if
there's something you wish to find instantly in my FAQ, in the above
table, on the left is the name of a section or sub-section. To the right
is a weird code, like GOK5.1. Basically, if you wish to go to the section
where I tell you about Goku under The Playable Characters Of The Story, on
your Keyboard, hold Ctrl and then hit F and a window will open. Type in
GOK5.1 and hit Find Next. It'll bring you to that section instantly. The
code to reach the Table Of Contents is just that: Table Of Contents. I
hope this makes browsing my FAQs easier for you. Enjoy!

=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Hey, well, looks like I'm doing another walkthrough here. Heh, don't ask
WHY I'm doing this game, I just am, since alot of people have requested it
and it looks and plays VERY well for a old NES game. Anyway, this
walkthrough is here to get you through the game, since you're probably
here because you need help...or something. Regardless, I'll be sure to
fill you in on everything you need to know about this game. As a heads up,
you can enjoy this game, even without knowing Japanese, so don't worry.
Now, just a few things. First, this walkthrough should NOT be on ANY site,
other than GameFAQs and this is NOT to be claimed as your own or be sold
for a profit. (Ha, yeah, right. At this moment, I'm sure this would sell
so well, right? The game's 11 years old, I doubt it very likely.) Also,
this walkthrough is to NOT be edited in ANY way, shape or form. Just
wanted to clear that up. Now, onto the walkthrough!
Update: This Walkthrough is now available at IGN, Neoseeker and any other
sites I've allowed via E-Mail to host this file. If I did not give you
permission to host this FAQ on your site, then you're hosting it illegally
and if you're reading this on a site with any variatin of "cheat" in its
name, please notify me so I may take the necessary action. Thanks.

= II. Current Updates . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . [ CURUP2 ]=
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
5/14/07 - Just writing in to let any readers know if they E-Mail me any
questions or comments, that my address still works. My willpower to write
walkthroughs over the last few years died, mostly to college and real
life, but I may just start this up again. Feel free to write in, thanks.
12/15/03 - I added the new layout to this walkthrough. How's it look?
9/7/03 - I have finally completed this walkthrough every which way and
I've made it the final planned update, but if I ever need to update it
in the future for any reason, meaning submissions from readers or
corrections, additions, etc, I'll do so. Until then, this as completed
as possible and I hope you enjoy!
Note: If I get around to it, I'll check out what the Easy Ending is, since
I've never seen it and throw it in here. Look for that sometime soon. But
other than that, everything here is as completed as can be, as far as I
know.
8/26/03 - Updated The Walkthrough from the Ice Palace Stage up until the
beginning of the Mountain Path Stage. This walkthrough is almost fully
completed, with just a few more Stages to go and then everything's set.
Those will be covered very soon, possibly getting everything done in the
next update, but we'll have to see. Just sit tight until then.
7/17/03 - Just updated The Walkthrough up to the Ice Palace Stage. I'll
be doing more and even possibly finishing this walkthrough very soon,
after I handle a IGN project I'm currently doing and some other things.
So, until then, just hang on and this'll all be done within due time.
7/13/03 - I was able to fix the problem and it seems the thing I ran into
might've been a glitch, but I need to look into that. Anyway, the problem
was that after beating the Ancient Ruins Stage, I was sent to the Dark
Cave Stage, which is like really far into the game and I totally missed
alot of Stages. So, I restarted the game and retried and this time, I got
to where I was supposed to go. Odd, huh? Anyway, I don't know what I did
to cause it, but it's been fixed and for this update, The Walkthrough goes
up to the beginning of the Marshy Swamp, which is pretty far into the game
and one Stage away from the Dark Cave Stage, where I was sent before.
Well, until my next update, which will be very soon, enjoy!
7/12/03 - Updated to the end of the Ancient Ruins Stage. I would've done
more, but I ran into a problem afterwards and I need to backtrack and see
something...sorry. I also added/fixed up the Enemies/Bosses section and
added more information to Golem and Mouse, which is thanks to Suicidal
Bob, who's been credited. Anyway, expect updates more frequently now and
sorry for the long delay for an update. More will come soon.
6/2/03 - Added a ASCII art banner. How's it look? Also, I updated up to
JUST after the Introduction Stages. I will continue with updates and I
plan to wrap this game up VERY soon.
5/13/03 - Made a walkthrough up through the first two introduction stages.
I plan on adding more VERY soon, as I go through the game and write this.
Stay tuned for much, much more!

= IV. How To Play . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . [ HOTOP4 ]=
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
- A. Controls And Menus . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . [ COAME4.1 ]-
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Alrighty, first off, let's start off with how you move around and play
this game.
D-Pad - Obviously, you use this to move around in the game. Left makes you
go left, right makes you go right, etc. Simple? I hope so.
Select - Does nothing.
Start - Brings up your Menu, so you can check your Hit Points, Items
you've collected and your other characters with you and their Hit Points.
Also used to switch party members while in a stage. Also used to confirm a
selection.
B Button - Used to launch a character's attack. (For Dragon, hold it down
to charge his attack up.)
A Button - Used to make your character jump. (With Lickle and Mouse,
it lets you attach them to a wall and move them around, much like in Ninja
Gaiden. For Dragon, hold this down when he jumps to make him fly.)
Now, as for the Menu in this game, it's VERY simple to figure out.
L - Represents Lickle. This shows how many Hit Points he has currently and
also his remaining Hit Points as well.
D - Represents Dragon. This shows how many Hit Points he has currently and
also his remaining Hit Points as well.
G - Represents Golem. This shows how many Hit Points he has currently and
also his remaining Hit Points as well.
M - Represents Mouse. This shows how many Hit Points he has currently and
also his remaining Hit Points as well.
Now, the slot below this is open for the Healing Potions your characters
have collected. Just make a note, that ONLY the character who collects the
Healing Potion can use it. To use it, highlight it and then hit the A
Button and they'll be healed.
P - Represents Player. Pretty much shows you how many lives you have left
before Game Over.
Also, at the start of the game, you can put in a Password to continue your
game, but only if you get one through the course of the game. You can't
save in this and it's alot like Mega Man with how you continue, so
remember that.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
- B. Moving Around . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . [ MOAR4.2 ]-
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ok, this is fairly easy to understand, so I won't go into much detail here.
Basically, you move around much like you would in a action game. If you
have EVER played any of the NES Mega Man games, this game will DEFINITELY
be VERY familiar and easy for you to understand and grasp, as this was the
first thing I identified with this game when I played it. Now, you control
four characters and each one has a different ability, strength, speed, Hit
Points, etc.
You move them around the playing field, fighting enemies and such, as you
try to make it to the end of each area to continue on, which is your prime
goal. To do so, each character is equipped with a weapon unique to them,
as well as they can jump and also perform special abilities unique to them
only. As you defeat enemies or progress in the area, you'll notice Items
and things about on the ground or even perhaps dropped by an enemy after
death. These Items will be explained under the next area, which is Field
Items. Now, this wasn't too hard to understand, right? I hope not. ^_^
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
- C. Field Items . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . [ FIEIT4.3 ] -
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
As you play the game, you'll notice various objects and things to pick up.
What are they and what do they do, you ask? I'll tell you.
Small Heart - Refills one of your Hit Points when picked up. (To the
character that has gathered it.)
Big Heart - Refills four of your Hit Points when picked up. (To the
character that has gathered it.)
Fox Icon - (I THINK this is a Fox...oh well, whatever.) Increases your
maximum Hit Points by two. (This is for ONLY the character that picks this
up, so, try to spread and even out Hit Points so everyone gets some and
let other characters get some now and then.)
Healing Potion - Completely refills all of your Hit Points. (To the
character that has gathered it and used it.)
Lickle Doll - An icon of Lickle. Collect this to get an extra Player. (Or
a 1-up as they're called commonly.)

= V. The Playable Characters Of The Story . . . . . . . . . . . [ TPCOT5 ]=
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
- A. Lickle . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . [ LICKL5.1 ]-
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
The main hero of this story, I guess, since we are given NO background on
him or his friends AT ALL, so I'm guessing he's the leader of the bunch.
Anyway, he's you main, well rounded lead character. He uses what looks
like a ball or cat bell to attack with, which he can throw three of them
at a time while they're on the screen in rapid fire, JUST like Mega Man.
His unique ability is that he can climb walls, JUST like Ryu in Ninja
Gaiden, so, if you've played Ninja Gaiden, you'll know how to climb walls
with Lickle.
(Except, he can also climb vertically, like a Monkey can. Just hold the Up
Button and hit the A Button and he'll grab the ceiling. Cool, huh?) For
his strength, he's on average with it, as his speed is a bit above average
if not on average and his jumping ability is average, as he spins when he
jumps. His Hit Points are also average. Just the average guy, isn't he?
He's just a very good character and you'll probably be using him whenever
you can, as he's just probably the best person to use.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
- B. Dragon . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . [ DRAG5.2 ] -
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Er...some Dragon...or something. Again, no story on this guy, either, so,
sorry, otherwise, I'd inform you, but there's nothing to inform
about...anyway, he's like a baby Dragon and reminds me alot of Ryu from
Breath Of Fire III's Dragon Form at the very beginning of the game. He's a
fairly good character to use, next to Lickle, since he can fly and all.
For his weapon, he can launch fireballs from his mouth, three maximum on
the screen and instead of going straight, they curve upwards and go off
the screen, kind of like Air Man's Weapon from Mega Man 2. If you hold the
B Button down, he charges his attack up. When he turns blue, it's medium
and when he's pink, it's full, so release the B Button to fire 3 huge
fireballs. Think Mega Man's Mega Buster.
His unique ability is that he can fly if you hold the A Button after he
jumps. The higher you jump, the higher he'll stay in the air when you hold
the button down. He can't go higher or lower, so that's why you you must
choose what height to get him to fly at. He only flies horizontally and he
can only fly for a very short time before he falls down, so be warned. For
his strength, he's fairly good and his speed is also on par with Lickle's.
He can jump higher than Lickle and since he can fly, this is a plus. He
jumps straight into the air, no spinning, so don't worry. His Hit Points
are the same as Lickle's, also on average. He's probably your second
choice for a well rounded character and since he can fly, hey, he's a
welcome to the team.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
- C. Golem . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . [ GOLE5.3 ]-
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
No story here, either. Again, sorry. He's a Golem or a Knight, whichever
you want to call it. He reminds me of that guy from Super Ghouls 'N
Ghosts. Anyway, he's an ok character, though he focuses on strength and
Hit Points mainly. For his weapon, he launches it arm out, which extends
to a certain length and can smack enemies dead. If this wasn't enough, he
can fire his arm in four different directions, depending on which
direction you hold and hit the A Button, so that's good for those hard to
reach enemies. For his unique ability, he can easily walk over spikes and
not take any damage from it. Very useful when you're in a bind, since he
takes no damage from this.
For his strength, he's the strongest character out of the four, as he can
easily smash enemies into nothing, but his speed is horribly...he's the
slowest of the four and can't move fast, so be warned. His jumping ability
is below average, as he can't jump as high as everyone else and he jumps
straight up. Though, his Hit Points are TWICE that of Lickle's, so he
comes into the party with twice as much, so that's a plus. Over all, he's
your main striking force of the group, which his Hit Points and strength
and he can walk over spikes. I suggest you use him when you need a quick
rush of power or need someone to survive for a while. Just, don't use him
as a main character for long.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
- D. Mouse . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . [ MOUS5.4 ]-
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Finally, there's Mouse. No, sorry, again, no background story. Ah well.
Anyway, this is probably THE weakest character of the four. His main
weapon are bombs, much like the ones Samus from Metroid used, except you
can place them ANYWHERE when you hit the A Button. After a few seconds,
the bombs explode, dealing moderate damage. Pretty useful, but you have to
place them close to the enemy and with Mouse's Hit Points, it's HARD. For
his unique ability, he also has the wall climb like Lickle does, except he
can stick to the walls better and move up them faster and also go upside
down and every which way. (Think those wall crawling enemies in Metroid
that could climb over and under ANYTHING.) He can also walk on swamp or
marsh, which comes in VERY handy in the swamp/marsh stage, so use him
when you can in that.
For his strength, for a Mouse, it's REALLY good. His bombs are good, IF
you can get them to hit the enemy, which requires you to get close. His
speed is AMAZING, as it's THE best out of ANY character. He can run fast,
climb fast and can get into small places others can't. His jumping
ability, for a Mouse is just...WOW. He can jump high and fast and it's
just good to have, as he also jumps straight up. (Why does Lickle spin?
Heh.) Though, his Hit Points are THE worst of the other characters, as he
is below average with them and only has two Hit Points to start with.
Ouch. Over all, he's a fast, agile character with good strength, but low
Hit Points, so, use him when you need to jet through an area or get into a
small place. Just, don't rely on him for battles.
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
= VI. The Walkthrough . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . [ THEWA6 ]=
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
- A. The Beginning . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . [ THEBE6.1 ] -
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ok, I'm going to do my best in explaining this, as the story is told
through pictures and stuff and there's NO text for me to translate, sorry.
Anyway, here I go:
The game begins with a mountain suddenly erupting with explosions after
lightning hits it, as the scene changes and a King commands three Knights
to go and investagate the matter. As they do, some Wizard in green appears
and slaughters them all in the wave of his arm. He then disappears as fast
as he appeared. The King is then worried and has a Knight send out four
messages on Birds to four brave Warriors, as they need their assistance in
this new matter of this Wizard.
That's the opening movie. Now, go ahead and start the game, either on Easy
or Normal. Whichever you want, but I'll be doing this on the Normal Mode,
not Easy. Sorry. Don't worry, it's the same game, only not as many
enemies. (Also, the game ends a bit earlier than Normal Mode, so you never
get to fight the real final Boss.) It's not EASIER to win, just enemies
aren't around as much and you can get more Hit Points for your characters.
That's about it, though. So, if you're playing and when I say a enemy is
near and you see nothing, you'll know why IF you're playing on Easy.
Anyway, as you start the game, you can choose four Stages. I suggest you
choose the very first one, but it's up to you. Choose whichever order, but
refer to each person's Stage below. I will go in order, so you may need to
skip around, depending on what you do.
Note: If you EVER die, you will lose ALL Hit Points AND Items that you
gained and you go back to your base Hit Points. Be warned. Also, the first
four stages are Introduction Stages, used to help you get use to a
character and learn how to use them. (This applies only for the
Introduction Stages, after that, you can die and keep your things, but
you lose the character that you were using until you complete the Stage.)
Also, if you find a Stage that I have not listed in The Walkthrough,
PLEASE let me know and I'll give you full credit for it. Just let me know
how you got to it in someway and I'll investagate it. Thanks.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
- B. Lickle's Introduction Stage . . . . . . . . . . . . . . [ LICINS6.2 ]-
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Alright, let's start with Lickle's Introduction Stage first, shall we? As
you begin, first get the feel of Lickle and how he moves, attacks, etc.
Then, when you're ready, follow the path and destroy the Jelly you see.
Continue along and before you drop down the ledge, there's two more Jelly
to fight. Time your shots right to hit them when they attack, as your
attacks go over them any other time. Continue along and wall climb with
Lickle here, but watch out for the Crawler. Fight it if you want, other
wise, just keep heading up, but watch out, there's two Crawlers around.
When you get past the Crawlers, there's a narrow passage to head up,
filled with Slinky Eyes. Just wall climb again and destroy the Slinky
Eyes, but make sure you do NOT go on the side where they are, or they come
at you and it makes this part harder. After you survive this area,
continue along and you'll encounter a squad of three Birds. Simply waste
them and head out onto the ledges in the air. Just don't fall off or it's
your death.
As you move along, defeat the two Birds you come across and you'll find a
Fox Icon. Grab it and increase your Hit Points and then destroy the next
squad of three Birds. Though, watch out for a lone Bird right after the
three Birds, as it can easily get a surprise attack on you. Now, watch out
for the Morph Frog. Just destroy it and then watch out for another Bird.
Go along and you'll find another Morph Frog. Again, kill this one and move
on. As you go on, you'll see three Crawlers. Waste them and then watch out
for the spike pits. Go over them and you'll then have to fight four Birds
this time. After you waste them, climb up and get the Big Heart to heal
yourself. Then, jump across the lava, as it can kill you instantly if you
hit it, so avoid it. There's a Bird nearby, so get ready to blast it. Go
along and you'll fight three more Birds and then one more. Then three more
Birds...then three more...geez...now, go ahead and head to the end of the
screen and you'll exit this area, as you meet up with a Knight and Lickle
walks off with him. Good job, the Stage is completed.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
- C. Dragon's Introduction Stage . . . . . . . . . . . . . . [ DRINS6.3 ] -
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Well, where as Lickle got more of a ground type stage, Dragon gets a air
type stage. Fits him and it'll make you test his flying abilities, like
how Lickle's Introduction Stage made you test his climbing ability. As you
start, the first thing you'll notice is that there's flying Tornadoes
everywhere. They don't hurt you, but can carry you, like moving clouds in
Mega Man 2. Now, go along and you'll find three Birds. Kill them and then
go along to find three more. Kill them and then kill the one charging Bird
up ahead. There's another set of three Birds and another charging one
ahead, so again, kill them. As you go near the end of the area, a tornado
throws you into the sky to the next part of this Stage, as you see a Fox
Icon near you. Grab it and then destroy the Bird near you. As you fly
around here, as you're in the air now and falling off a ledge kills you, I
suggest you fly with Dragon.
Now, kill the three Birds you see and then kill the charging Bird that's
after them. Then, go along and kill two more Birds and then defeat the set
of three more Birds you come across. There's two more charging Birds, so
beware here. Go along and get on the more longer and solid area and
destroy the charging Bird you come across. There's another one, so watch
it. Then, go on and destroy the other three Birds. Continue on and you'll
see a Big Heart, which you may need healing. Take it and then defeat the
charging Bird that's near you. Then, there's four sets of three Birds.
Take care of them and then head off the screen to meet up with the Knight,
as Dragon walks off with him. Good job, the Stage is completed.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
- D. Golem's Introduction Stage . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . [ GOINS6.4 ]-
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ok, now for Golem's Introduction Stage. For Golem,he gets a underground
type of Stage, which fits his character and attacks, mainly. Now, as you
start, watch out for the two Swords that come flying at you. Destroy them
and move on, as you'll see another Sword and a Crawler. Waste them and
then go along and destroy yet another Sword and Crawler. Then, continue on
and defeat the two Swords and two Crawlers you come across. As you get to
the end of the ledge, you'll see a Fox Icon, with a Bird nearby. Kill the
Bird and get the Fox Icon and then jump across the platforms, but watch
out for another charging Bird, a group of three Birds, another charging
Bird, yet another group of three Birds and even another charging Bird.
Once on the other side, quickly kill the Morph Frog and the charging Bird
you come across. Then, destroy yet another charging Bird and collect the
Big Heart you see and then kill the other Morph Frog. Kill two more
charging Birds and then a final set of three Birds and exit the Stage and
you'll meet up with a Knight. Good job, the Stage is completed.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
- E. Mouse's Introduction Stage . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . [ MOINS6.5 ]-
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Well, here's the final Introduction Stage, which is for Mouse. (Depending
on which order you did this in. I'm just assuming you went in order, but
it doesn't matter.) Mouse's Introduction Stage is a forest, which fits
him, since he's a climber and also the character that can get into hard to
reach spots. As you start out, destroy the Morph Frog you come across and
then the Fly Ball as well. Continue on and defeat another Fly Ball and
another Morph Frog. Once you hit a dead end, climb up the tree and scale
it. Kill the two Slinky Eyes you come across and then collect the Fox Icon
to give Mouse more Hit Points, as he REALLY needs it. Now, scale the wall
to the left, so you can avoid the spikes completely. DO NOT jump and try
to go over the spikes, just scale the wall all the way until you can
safely jump down.
Now, kill the Fly Ball near you and then you'll see two paths to take.
Whichever one you take, you get a Big Heart, so it doesn't matter and you
can go through both if you want, that's up to you. Anyway, destroy the
Morph Frog and then another Fly Ball, then yet another Morph Frog and you
can get another Big Heart. Then, there's another Fly Ball, so kill that
one as well. Now, move along and destroy yet another Morph Frog and two
Fly Balls. You'll see a Healing Potion, so scale the ceiling carefully and
grab it and then get out alive. Then, destroy the final Morph Frog and
then exit the Stage to meet up with a Knight. Good job, the Stage is
completed.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
- F. Meeting The King . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . [ METHK6.6 ] -
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
The scene comes in to show your entire group now together infront of the
King, as a giant, glowing Bell appears. (Is it me or is the King doing
what I think he's doing...? o_o) Anyway, Mouse and Golem enter the Bell,
but Dragon knocks it away and then calls to Lickle, as you enter your
first Boss Battle.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
- Boss Battle: Dragon -
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hit Points - 24.
Damage Delt - 1 with a small fireball and knocking into you and 2 with a
big fireball.
Attacks - Fires off a fireball everytime you attack and fires off 3 large
fireballs on occassion. Also flies around constantly.
Strategy: Too easy. Simply just nail Dragon with one attack when he's on
the ground to stun him and keep slamming the B Button and he won't be able
to move. WAY too simple. Just get as close as you can for the best
results.
After the Battle, Dragon will become tame and the Bell will appear after
the screen fades out and then in. Dragon will go into the Bell, as the
screen fades out, showing you've completed the Stage.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
- G. Ancient Ruins . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . [ ANCRU6.7 ] -
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Alright, now the REAL game begins. First head along and either destroy or
dodge the Dinos around, since they constantly respawn, so don't bother
killing them all. Continue along and watch out for the four Fire Spirits
that appear. (Also, the Fire Spirits only appear near the skull pillars,
so you'll know when one is near.) Now, after one point, the Dinos stop
coming and you'll now head to head up. Just watch out for the three Slinky
Eyes and two Crawlers. Once you're at the top, follow the path and kill
the Bird and grab the Fox Icon for more Hit Points. Then, destroy the
Flower, but watch out for a Bird nearby. Continue on and destroy the two
Birds and the Flower, then watch out for the assault of four Birds and
another Flower nearby. As you come across and can go in two different
directions, don't bother heading to the west, as it leads nowhere. Just
continue straight ahead and kill the Flower, then you'll come across two
more Flowers and a Big Heart.
Kill the Flowers and just move on, cause unless you're using Golem, you
can't get the Big Heart. Just move on and you'll find another Big Heart,
with a Flower nearby. Heal whoever needs it and kill the Flower, then move
on and watch out for the respawning Baby Dragons and another three
flowers. Then, when you can either go down and follow the path, head down
only if you need more Hit Points, since there's two Fox Icons. Just simply
kill the two Flowers and it's yours. Use Mouse to get one of them and once
you get back to the main path, kill the Flower and then the other Flower
and be sure to use Mouse to get you the Healing Potion you see. Give it to
whoever doesn't have one already. Then, follow the path into the next
screen to enter a Boss Battle.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
- Boss Battle: Green Magician -
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hit Points - 40.
Damage Delt - 1 for the purple energy ball and 2 if you run into him.
Attacks - Fires out purple balls of energy and teleports around the area.
Strategy: Pretty straight forward. Just dodge his attacks and use Golem to
make short work of him. Don't worry about taking damage. Just pummel him
with no mercy. After he goes down, he'll transform into his real state.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
- Boss Battle: Green Beast -
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hit Points - 80.
Damage Delt - 2 for it's red fireballs, 3 for it's purple ball of energy
and 2 for running into it.
Attacks - Fires red fireballs at you, as well as firing a single homing
purple energy ball and walks around, trying to corner you.
Strategy: Wow, this guy got alot tougher fast. Anyway, the best strategy I
find is since this guy's big and slow, use Mouse to get in, bomb him and
run away. It works wonders and also deals ALOT of damage. Golem's a bad
choice for this, since he's slow and prone to attacks and Lickle isn't
strong enough, same with Dragon. So, use Mouse. After Green Beast goes
down, the screen fades to black and you've completed the Stage.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
- H. Mountain Path . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . [ MOUPA6.8 ] -
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Note: For some reason, after the last Stage, there's a chance you can skip
this Stage completely and go straight to the Mountain Cave Stage. I don't
know what causes this, but if this happens to you, skip this Stage and
head to that one instead.
Wow, this Stage looks alot like Dragon's Introduction Stage, doesn't it?
Anyway, head along the path and watch out for two trios of Birds and then
a charging Bird. Then, head all the way to the end of the screen and a
tornado will appear and carry you to the next part of the Stage. Switch to
Dragon to make this part easier. Fly across to the next platform and get
the Fox Icon and watch out for the trio of Birds nearby. Use the Tornadoes
to give you a extra leap to fly to the next platform and destroy the next
trio of Birds here, then fly onto the next platform. Here you'll find a
Big Heart, so grab it and take care of the next Trio of Birds. Finally,
fly to the next platform here and destroy the next trio of Birds and jump
onto the bigger platform, taking care of the two charging Birds. Then,
take care of another charging Bird and another trio of Birds, followed by
another charging Bird and yet another trio of Birds. (Man, had enough of
these things yet?) After this, exit the screen and you'll complete this
Stage.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
- I. Jungle Falls . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . [ JUNGFA6.9 ] -
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Welcome to the next part of the above Stage. Now you're in a Jungle, with
waterfalls every where. Go ahead and follow the path and take out the trio
of Birds you come across. Then, jump onto the platform and then onto the
leaf, which moves for you. Watch out for the charging Bird and jump onto
the next platform before the leaf hits it, because it'll disappear. Also,
watch out for another trio of Birds. Next, hop onto the leaf and take out
the charging Bird and jump onto the platform above you, moving and hopping
back onto the leaf, but watch out for another charging Bird here. After
this, grab the Fox Icon on the platform and destroy the trio of Birds
nearby. Finally, hop onto the leaf here and watch out for four charging
Birds and jump onto solid land and follow the path down. Watch out for the
two Crawlers here and then the spikes that are coming up. Head down and
defeat another Crawler on your way, jumping from platform to platform.
Once you reach solid land, destroy the three Flowers nearby and hop onto
the platform and defeat the trio of Birds here. Then, continue on and
watch out for a charging Bird, followed by another set of trio Birds and a
charging Bird. Yet again, there's another set of trio Birds nearby and
after this, there's a leaf. Hop onto it and as you go, you'll not only see
a Healing Potion, but a charging Bird. Get the Healing Potion if you can
with Lickle or Mouse, otherwise avoid it and defeat a set of trio Birds
and another charging Bird. Then, hop onto the next leaf and watch out for
two more charging Birds here, as well as a Fox Icon in the middle of them.
Jump onto the next platform and take care of the set of trio Birds here
and jump onto the next leaf. Now, watch out here, because there's a total
of seven charging Birds, so take care of them. Jump onto the platform and
take care of the final set of trio Birds here and after you jump onto
solid land, exit this screen, to enter a Boss Battle.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
- Boss Battle: Water Spirit -
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hit Points - 64.
Damage Delt - 2 for the purple energy ball and 4 if you run into it.
Attacks - Fires out purple balls of energy and moves under the water to
avoid attacks and then comes up to attack with purple balls of energy.
Strategy: First off, if during this Boss Battle, you happen to fall into
the water, you'll be taken to an alternative Stage, where you follow a
different route to where you're going. So, if you do fall into the water,
instead of heading to the next Stage here in the walkthrough after this,
instead head to the alternative route in The Walkthrough, K. Underground
Crab Ride. (Note: Even though if you take this alternative route, you'll
still end up at the same place eventually, which is the Stage called Dark
Jungle.)
Anyway, this is a pretty easy Boss Battle. Water Spirit only has one
pattern of attacks, which is to rise out of the water, attack and then
disappear and repeat. Pretty easy. Use Mouse to get in close to deal heavy
damage and if he gets weak, switch him out with Golem. Just use this duo
and Water Spirit will eventually fall, as the screen fades to black and
you've completed the Stage.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
- J. Mountain Cave . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . [ MOUCA6.10 ]-
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
As you begin this stage, head along and watch out for the respawning
Skeletons and try to avoid them for the best. (Use Dragon to fly at the
top of the screen to bypass them all.) Just avoid them and once you get to
the Fox Icon, switch to Golem, since you need to use him to get across the
spikes. You CAN use Mouse to climb on the ceiling, but you have to fight
Crawlers along the way and it's a bit slower. Now, first, destroy the
Crawler above the platform before jumping, then go ahead and jump onto the
platform. Then, continue on and destroy the two other Crawlers, then watch
out for another solo Crawler. Moving on, there's two more Crawlers,
followed by a group of six Crawlers and then finally, five more. Whew.
After this, you'll reach the end, with a Lickle Doll at the top of the
screen. Use Mouse and grab it, then exit the screen, as you'll complete
this Stage. (Note: Head to The Walkthrough, L. Dark Jungle to continue on,
since the next area is if you fell into the water during the fight with
Water Spirit.)
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
- K. Underground Crab Ride . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . [ UNCRAR6.11 ] -
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Well, if you fell into the water during your fight with Water Spirit,
you'll arrive here. Whoever you were using will fall and you'll see Lickle
take over, as his Bell falls out and a Baby Dragon swoops in and grabs it,
as it flies off and Lickle tries to grab it, but fails. For this Stage,
you'll ONLY be able to use Lickle and no one else, so be careful. As the
Stage begins, hop onto the giant Crab you see and the Stage will begin. As
you start, watch out for a Flower in the water, which you can't kill, so
dodge it's attack and duck under the ledge coming up, then duck under the
spikes at the next part and dodge another Flower's Attack. Jump onto the
platform or duck under it, but either way, a charging Bird is nearby, so
be careful. There's also a killable Flower near as well, so destroy that
when you see it. Watch out for a Spore, which can't be killed and explodes
by itself to release pollen, which can harm you, so stay away from it.
After this, duck under the ledge and destroy the next Flower you see, then
duck under another ledge and watch out. There's these vine like things
that come down to block your path and they aren't enemies, but they can
hurt you. Just stay away from them and when they open up, dash under them.
There's two of them, so time it right. (Also, watch out for a Flower
below, which attacks you.) After this, there's two more vines to dash
under, with another Flower nearby, attacking you. Repeat what you just did
and afterwards, watch out for a Spore nearby. Next, duck under the ledge
and avoid the Flower, but watch out for a charging Bird and jump over the
spikes on the side of the platform and destroy the Flower here and the
charging Bird to get a Big Heart, which you probably need badly now.
Jump back onto the giant Crab and watch out for another Spore, then, jump
onto the side of the wall coming up, as you can't by otherwise. Once the
giant Crab goes by, work Lickle down and around the ceiling and move him
fast, so he can jump back onto the giant Crab, because there's spikes on
the ceiling up ahead and he can't dodge them. The giant Crab will come to
a stop, so destroy the final Flower here and then exit the screen, as you
enter a Boss Battle.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
- Boss Battle: Skull Magician -
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hit Points - 64.
Damage Delt - 1 for it's balls it launches at you and 4 if you run into
it.
Attacks - Creates a forcefield around itself, which sucks Lickle in,
unless he runs in the opposite direction, fires balls from the east and
west and calls two Baby Dragons to attack.
Strategy: Pretty straight forward. This seems hard, but it really isn't.
Skull Magician just uses his forcefield to suck Lickle in, which is easily
countered by running away from it and jumping over the balls he launches.
You can NOT hurt him when he has the forcefield up. After he does this,
he's vulnerable to attack, since he summons two Baby Dragons to attack
you. Dodge them and focus on Skull Magician. Just repeat this strategy and
he'll eventually fall, as Lickle's Bell floats back in and you regain your
other party members and the screen fades out, as you complete the Stage.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
- L. Dark Jungle . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . [ DARJU6.12 ]-
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Note: Regardless to which path you took, you'll now end up back here.
When you start out, destroy the Fly Ball nearby, then watch out for a
Skull, which charges at you really fast. Then, destroy another Fly Ball
and another Skull, followed by another Skull and another Fly Ball. After
this, there's two more Skulls, followed by two more Skulls. Once you get
by, use either Lickle or Mouse to climb up to advance in the Stage, but
watch out for the Spinning Skull, followed by another Spinning Skull.
Then, just climb up and continue on, as you'll see a Fly Ball and
respawning Spinning Skulls flying around. Just breeze by this area with
Dragon. You'll see four more Fly Balls as you go by and make sure you
destroy the Spinning Skull that's standing still and just spinning around
and not rising horizontally on the screen, like the past ones. Then, just
exit the screen and you'll complete this Stage.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
- M. Marshy Swamp . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . [ MARSW6.13 ] -
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
As you start off this Stage, follow the path and watch out for the Fly
Ball. Then, as you near the swamp, there's another Fly Ball. Now, I
suggest for the next part you just breeze by, since it's not worth staying
around and fighting. First, you can use Mouse to run across the swamp
below or you can use Dragon to fly by. Up to you, but anyway, when you're
ready, move on. Once you head into the swamp, watch out for another Fly
Ball nearby and then continue on, as you see Tornadoes start to appear.
Jump onto the platform nearby and you'll see a Fly Ball nearby. Destroy
it, then jump onto the next platform and two more Fly Balls appear, so
deal with them and continue on for a while, until you come to another
platform. Jump over it and as you go along, another Fly Ball appears. Take
care of it and head to the next platform, as you'll also see another
platform higher up, but a Fly Ball is nearby.
Kill it and then jump onto the higher platform and watch out for three
more Fly Balls, as you come to a Fox Icon. Grab it and then destroy the
final Fly Ball. After it goes down, continue on and you'll reach some
pillars. Use Lickle or Mouse to get by and once you do, you'll encounter a
set of trio Birds. Then, nearby, watch out for three charging Birds,
followed by another set of trio Birds. Next, head back into the swamp and
watch out for four charging Birds here, as you get back onto a platform,
with a set of trio Birds nearby. Then, continue on and destroy three more
charging Birds, while jumping onto solid land again, with a Big Heart as
you arrive. Heal up and then take care of the final set of trio Birds,
then exit the screen and you'll enter a Boss Battle.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
- Boss Battle: Water Demon -
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hit Points - 90.
Damage Delt - 1 for it's balls it shoots at you from it's tail, 2 for it's
blue balls it shoots at you and also for it's tail hitting you and 4 if
you run into it.
Attacks - Water Demon usually rises up from the water slowly and opens and
closes its mouth again and again, launcing three blue balls at you, going
in different directions. Also, instead of appearing to normally attack,
it'll stick its tail up and slide across the screen, trying to hit you
with not only the tail, but balls as well.
Strategy: This is actually pretty easy to handle. First off, Mouse works
wonders on Water Demon with his Bombs, but he can't take alot of
punishment from him, so watch out. Literally six Bombs that get direct
hits almost kill him and three more pretty much clean him up. If you don't
use him or don't have him, due to him being dead, switch and use Golem to
cause some heavy damage. Just watch out for Golem's Hit Points, since he
can get hurt easily here. Dragon and works well, as does Lickle, but it
takes more work and you have to dodge a hell of alot more. Just keep it up
and he'll eventually fall, as the screen fades out and you'll complete the
Stage.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
- N. Dark Cave . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . [ DARCA6.14 ]-
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Alright, well, welcome to the next Stage. First, switch to Mouse and
follow the path and climb the ceiling when you can, because there's a
Lickle Doll nearby, sitting on a platform. Now, here's the thing. See that
type of ground it's sitting on? That type of ground is fake and if any of
your characters stands on it, they'll fall through, so be carefull. Get
Mouse onto the platform and grab the Lickle Doll without taking damage.
Then, switch to Dragon and take care of the two Jellies nearby. Next,
watch out for this entire Stage, as it's mostly getting across a huge pit
and the platforms all disappear and reappear. Though, you can still stand
on them, even when they aren't visible. Now, throughout the Stage, there's
countless respawning Skull Spirits, so ignore them if you can. Jump onto
the first platform and then head onto the third one and take care of the
Jelly sitting on the fourth.
Then, handle the Jelly sitting on the next one and jump onto the platform
afterwards. Now, there's a pillar platform that's next, so be sure you can
land on it safely, but I suggest you switch to Lickle or Mouse to get by,
as using the Dragon here is suicide. Just attach yourself to the sides and
jump from the first pillar to the next and make your way around and jump
onto the VERY small platform nearby, with a Jelly below. Ignore it and use
Dragon to fly to the next pillar, then switch back to Lickle or Mouse and
repeat what you just did and watch out for a charging Eye nearby. Then,
jump onto another very small platform and you'll see two Jellies nearby.
Take care of the one to the east and ignore the one below you, then jump
onto the platform and take care of another Jelly. Jump to the next two
platforms and destroy another Jelly, then you'll see a platform that moves
back and forth. Jump onto it, but watch out for a charging Eye nearby.
Then, jump onto the next small platform and nearby is a Fox Icon. Fly to
it and grab it, standing on the next platform. Now, jump across the two
move platforms ahead, but watch out for two charging Eyes, both coming at
you from different angles. Then, just jump onto two more small platforms,
onto three more moving platforms and switch to Mouse for the next part,
since there's alot of pillars and spikes here. Jump onto the first pillar
and as you jump to the next on, watch out for a charging Eye above you,
who attacks. Kill it and jump onto the moving platform and kill another
charging Eye you see. Jump onto the next pillar and then onto the next one
and then you'll see a Big Heart nearby, but it's sitting on fake ground.
Grab it at your own risk, then switch back to Dragon and continue on,
ignoring the Jelly below you and take out the Jelly that you come across
ahead of you. Kill the next Jelly you see and fall through the fake ground
here and head west to grab that Lickle Doll you see. Now, take care of
that Jelly you passed a second ago now and then head back on the bottom
path, killing two more Jellies, followed by one on the top path and
finally, two more that are on solid ground. After this, you'll reach a
dead end...or so you think. Use Mouse to go through the wall with the fake
ground on it and then exit the screen, as you enter a Boss Battle.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
- Boss Battle: Green Spirit Skull -
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hit Points - 64.
Damage Delt - 1 for the Spirit Skulls it throws out at you and for the
green balls it also throws at you, 2 if you run into the Spirit Skulls
when they're in a circle and coming inwards to reform Green Spirit Skull
and 4 if you run into Green Spirit Skull.
Attacks - Green Spirit Skull usually moves at a moderate pace around the
room, launching countless Spirit Skulls at you, as well as normal green
balls when it's in the center of the room and not moving. It also
disappears and reappears constantly, as it also reforms alot, surrounding
the room in Spirit Skulls in a circle and then having them come inward,
making it hard to dodge them as they regroup.
Strategy: Too easy. Even though you'd think Mouse would once again be the
best here, he's really not this time. Use Golem to put Green Spirit Skull
down for the count and don't worry about taking damage. Just barrage him
and if you get hurt, either use a Healing Potion or switch to Lickle or
Dragon to finish him off. He's really not that hard. Anyway, once he goes
down, the screen will fade out and you'll complete the Stage.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
- O. Mountain Falls . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . [ MOUFA6.15 ] -
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Wow, this is a short Stage. Heh. Anyway, as you begin, destroy the Flower
on the otherside of a waterfall and then jump across onto the next
platform and then jump onto the next platform and kill the three Flowers
nearby. Then, watch out for the spikes that you see and take care of the
Flower who you see. Then, follow the path and head down, but switch to
Mouse, because there's a HUGE pit all the way down and on the way, there's
a bunch of items to get. First, there's a Big Heart in the middle of the
screen, followed by a Potion sitting on some spikes to the west, followed
by a Fox Icon to the east on some spikes a little ways down, followed by
another Big Heart in the middle of the screen and a Lickle Doll on some
spikes to the west.
Then, there's two Small Hearts nearby, followed by another Fox Icon at the
very bottom. Just watch out for the spikes at the very bottom, which is a
reason why you shouldn't just jump down straight in the middle, dodging
everything. Follow the path down and around and you'll come across another
Flower. Kill it, then take care of another Flower and a charging Bird.
Then, jump over a waterfall and take care of another charging Bird and
Flower and then deal with yet another charging Bird and a Flower nearby.
Then, continue on and jump across onto the next platform and kill another
Flower, followed by another charging Bird and a Flower. Then, use Golem to
go across the spikes and get the Lickle Doll, then exit the screen and
you'll complete the Stage.
Note: Now, for some reason, you can go one of two ways and I don't know
what causes it, but you can either go to Ice Palace or Roman Temple, so if
you don't go to Ice Palace, skip the next section and head to The
Walkthrough, Q. Roman Temple and continue on.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
- P. Ice Palace . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . [ ICEPA6.16 ] -
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
(Note: Be careful of hanging on the walls in this level. If you stand
still, you'll slip and slide.)
Get ready for a somewhat challenging Stage up ahead. First, go ahead and
follow the path ahead and watch out for a Wizard and countless Death
enemies. (I suggest you use Dragon for this part, until I suggest
otherwise, but it's up to you.) Up ahead, there's two more Wizards waiting
for you, so dispatch them, then move on and take out another duo of
Wizards. Just watch out, the second one is in the air this time. Continue
on and take care of the three Skulls, then use Mouse to go under the
spikes and climb up to the top platform, before the large pit of spikes,
but be careful, it's slippery. You can either use Lickle, Golem or Mouse
for this, mainly Lickle and Mouse on the ceiling, but I suggest Golem,
since it's easier. Anyway, watch out for a charging Skull immediately,
followed by a charging Bird. Then, watch out for another charging Bird, a
charging Skull and another charging Bird, as you find a Fox Icon. Grab it
and then continue on and be aware of another charging Skull. Defeat it,
then follow the path and eal with the Spinning Skull and Slinky Eye
nearby, then use Mouse to head under the spikes again and destroy the
Slinky Eye above you, then you have two choices.
Either to take the left path, filled with Skulls or the right path, filled
with Slinky Eyes. If you take the right path, the Skulls will still charge
at you, but if you take the left path, you can't kill the Skulls, unless
they move first. So, it's a lose-lose situation. Take whichever path you
feel is more comfortable, dealing with four Slinky Eyes and four Skulls,
then at the top is another Fox Icon. Take it, then quickly deal with
another Spinning Skull. Then, follow the path and watch out for countless
Deaths and a Morphing Frog below you and one near you. Kill it, then kill
the next one near by and use Dragon to swoop down and get the Big Heart
and Lickle Doll. Kill the two Morphing Frogs down below, then move on,
either taking care of the one above you now and/or the one ahead of you.
After this, destroy the final Morphing Frog, then exit the screen, as you
enter a Boss Battle.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
- Boss Battle: Skeleton Horsemen -
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hit Points - 48.
Damage Delt - 2 if you run into the Skeletons it summons, 4 if you run
into the Skeleton Horsemen himself.
Attacks - He floats around the screen and summons Skeletons to do his
dirty work. Feh...
Strategy - Way, way, WAY too simple. First, use Dragon for this and ignore
the Skeletons and just either use your Fireballs to lay it on him hard,
while you float in the air with him. He's an easy target and in no time,
he'll drop like a fly. After you defeat him, he loses his Horse and
attacks you himself. (Well, finally...)
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
- Boss Battle: Skeleton Knight -
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hit Points - 4. (He comes back from the dead four times, though, so it's
actually 16.)
Damage Delt - 1 if he hits you with his throwing Knives and 2 if you run
into him.
Attacks - Throws Knives at you and also charges you.
Strategy - Well, you need to use a bit more strategy for this part of the
Boss than before. Mainly, he throws Knives at you, but they're avoidable.
Just watch for him charging and the only time you can hurt him is when his
shield isn't on him, which is when he throws Knives. During that second,
use Dragon or Golem to hit him with a charged attack/attack and he'll hit
the dirt, but rise again. Defeat him three more times and he'll go down
for good. If need be, use Lickle, but use Mouse ONLY as a last ditch
effort. Otherwise, after this, the screen will fade out and you'll head to
the next Stage.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
- Q. Roman Temple . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . [ ROMTE6.17 ] -
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
This is a pretty straight forward Stage, to say the least. As you begin,
watch out for the countless Skeletons coming your way and take care of the
first two Swords you see, then take out another Sword right before you
jump onto the higher platform. Then, take out another sword nearby and
continue along, dealing with three more Swords and then yet another sword
before you jump on the next platform that's a bit higher up. Next, deal
with two more Swords and countless Skeletons still raiding the area, then
continue on and finish off the final Swords. Whew, ok, now, you'll arrive
at a small area of water with a low ceiling. Switch to Dragon and simply
just fly over it, then use Mouse to scale the walls. Watch out for four
Crawlers around here and grab the Fox Icon if you need it. Then, continue
on and switch to Golem here and watch out for two charging Eyes and head
onto the moving platform, but don't worry, travel on the spikes with him,
since he can.
Just watch out for two more charging Eyes and then head onto the next
moving platform and be alert for three more charging Eyes, before you see
the next floating platform and then just travel on and grab the Fox Icon
and switch to Mouse once you clear the spikes here. You'll come to a part
where you need to climb, with four pillars to choose from, all crawling
with Slinky Eyes. Doesn't matter which path you take, since you'll be
constantly attacked by these things, so do try and destroy them. Also,
watch out for a charging Skull. There's eight Slinky Eyes in the first
little area and one charging Skull, so I suggest you take the farthest
west or east side of the pillars, since the charging Skull is in the
middle. Once you arrive at some platforms, grab the Big Heart and then
take the next route you wish to, as there's six Slinky Eyes and one
charging Skull here.
Grab the Fox Icon on the next platform you come to, then watch out for one
more charging Skull and two more Slinky Eyes, then you're home free. Just
follow the path and switch back to Lickle and take care of the Sword you
come across, followed by another Sword. Now, be careful, because countless
Skeletons are now around, so deal with six more Swords here and a ton of
Skeletons, then head out of the screen, as you enter a Boss Battle.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
- Boss Battle: Teal Magician -
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hit Points - 32.
Damage Delt - 1 if it hits you with its Magic Balls and 2 if you run into
it.
Attacks - Floats around the screen, firing out three Magic Balls at a
time.
Strategy - Eh, this is pretty simple. Switch to Dragon and just blast him
with your Fireballs and he'll easily go down, but not for the count.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
- Boss Battle: Teal Knight -
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hit Points - 72.
Damage Delt - 2 if he hits you with his Sword, 2 if he hits you with the
Ground Blaze, 4 if he hits you with his lightning and 8 if you run into
him.
Attacks - Walks around the screen, attacking you with his Sword if you get
too close, releases fire from his Sword a total of three times at you and
throws lightning at you. similar to how the Wizard does it.
Strategy - Wow, this guy got HARD. Ok, first thing is, he's ONLY
vulnerable when he attacks with his Ground Blaze or lightning, so other
than that, DODGE him. He can deal a whopping 8 damage if you just run into
him, so avoid him. I suggest you start with Golem and aim at his head when
you attack him when he attacks or the lower part of his body. Use the
Healing Potion if you need to, because you'll need it, so don't be stingy.
If you get too hurt with Golem, switch to Dragon and finish him off. If
worse comes to worse, switch to Lickle and if you're desperate, Mouse. It
shouldn't come to this, but if it does, pray you win. Anyway, after you
win, the screen will fade out and you'll beat the Stage.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
- R. Volcaneo Mountain . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . [ VOLMO6.18 ]-
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
As you begin this Stage, move along and be careful of a Fly Ball near the
start. Dispatch it, then before you jump across the pit, take out another
one on the otherside, so you don't get hit and fall dead into the hole.
Deal with the Morph Frog just a tad after this, then take out another Fly
Ball, followed by another Morph Frog on the other side of the next pit.
Then, before you leap across, jump a bit over the pit, but then come back
to the ledge and you'll cause a Fly Ball to appear. Kill it, then safely
continue on. After you climb up the wall, watch out for two Flowers
nearby, followed by a new enemy, Slime. There's unlimited of these and
they come out of the skeletons here, so be careful and just ignore them.
Once you reach the top, continue on and deal with another Flower. (Note:
If you want a very easy time here, use Dragon to just glide by
everything.)
Then, watch out for another new enemy, the Lava Frog. Deal with it or
ignore it, but kill the Flower nearby. Also, do NOT fall into the lava, as
it can almost instantly kill you, so avoid it. Then, kill another Lava
Frog nearby, followed by another Flower, followed by another four sets of
this. (Heh, there's alot of them, huh?) As you climb over the small little
fire hill, watch out for a Lava Frog that pops out of it, followed by
another Flower nearby. Deal with them, then you'll see a Big Heart. Grab
it, but you'll be ambushed by two Lava Frogs, one on each side and a
Flower. Quickly deal with them, then continue on and deal with another
Lava Frog and another Flower, followed by two more Lava Frogs and two more
Flowers. Then, once you reach the next fire hill, watch out for another
Lava Frog here, followed by another Lava Frog in the lava nearby, with a
Flower also near. Once you get over these, you'll reach the end of the
Stage. Simply walk to the end of the screen and you'll enter a Boss
Battle.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
- Boss Battle: Purple Magician -
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hit Points - 32.
Damage Delt - 1 for the orbs he fires at you and 2 if you run into him.
Attacks - Appears and throws orbs at you, then disappears and appears
randomly around the screen to repeat his attack.
Strategy - This is a pretty easy Boss Battle, but don't get cocky. Use
Lickle or Golem to deal with him. The only time he's open for attack is
when he appears and fires his orbs, which you have to be QUICK to hit him,
because he disappears FAST. After you deal with him, get ready for the
second part of the Boss Battle, VERY similar to the Dragon Boss from Mega
Man 2.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
- Boss Battle - Demon Dragon -
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hit Points - 80.
Damage Delt - 2 for the blue orbs it fires at you and for the blue waves
it also fires at you and 12 if it runs into you or you run into
it. (Aka: Instant death pretty much.)
Attacks - Fires blue orbs at you, along with blue waves and charges at you
to cause instant death if you're hit.
Strategy - Now this is HARD, but it can be easy at the same time. Use
either Dragon or Golem for this, but I find Dragon to be the better. Aim
at his jaw to hurt him and fire charged up fireballs for maximum damage.
If you get hurt, switch to Golem, then to Lickle. Do NOT use Mouse AT ALL.
Also, be VERY careful when he rushes you. It can kill you if you touch
him. Anyway, just keep it up and after you beat him, the screen will fade
out and you'll beat the Stage.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
- S. Mountain Path . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . [ MOUPA6.19 ]-
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Whew, ok, we're almost at the end...almost. As this Stage begins, I
suggest just using Lickle, since the damn new Eyeball enemies are annoying
here. Unlike the Eye enemies, they bounce around and are hard to hit and
get on your nerves fast. Oh joy. Anyway, as you begin this Stage, follow
the path and watch out for two Eyeballs. Then, continue on and you'll find
three more. Just defeat them or run past them, annoying as they are and
follow the path, as it appears for you, kind of like how it did a few
times in some of the Mega Man games. Climb the path leading up and deal
with five Crawlers here and grab the Fox Icon along the way. Once you
reach the top, continue on, as you'll meet some Jelly enemies again and
some Wizards. Dispatch of the first Jelly and Wizard you see, then take
care of the final two Jellies and then just follow the path, as you'll
find three Skulls as you go along, so kill them, then you'll find a
Spinning Skull, so kill him as well. Then, destroy a final Skull and
continue on the path and kill the Jelly you come across, followed by
another Wizard, then three more Jellies and one more Wizard.
Get rid of them all, then move on, climbing up the path ahead of you. Now,
you'll see a Big Heart nearby, but wait to get it. First, take care of the
Spinning Skull and the Skull above you, then grab it. Then, climb up the
path again and take care of another Spinning Skull. Afterwards, just
follow the path again and deal with three more Wizards, then just continue
on and climb up the path, but take the east side first. Destroy the Flower
you see above you, then at the top, waste another flower and then go down
the west path and grab the Big Heart. Then, climb up and ignore the
Healing Potion for a minute and instead destroy the Flower above you. Use
Golem to grab it if he doesn't already have a Healing Potion, otherwise
ignore it. Next, just follow the path once again. Now, you'll have to
fight not only more annoying Eyeballs, but Deaths. Ugh. Ok, take care of
the first Eyeball, then carefully move on, as you're assaulted by two
Eyeballs at once. Further on, there's another Eyeball, with Deaths
everywhere, followed by another Eyeball nearby, then two more Eyeballs
attacking at once, followed by another single Eyeball. After this,
dispatch the Deaths and you'll reach the end of the Stage. Once here, exit
and you'll enter a Boss Battle.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
- Boss Battle: Gold Magician -
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hit Points - 32.
Damage Delt - 1 for the blue orbs it fires at you and 2 if you run into
him.
Attacks - Fires blue orbs at you and floats around the room.
Strategy - Pretty simple. Whip out either Dragon or Golem and just go to
town on him. He's too easy. After this, his real form appears.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
- Boss Battle: Grim Reaper -
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hit Points - 72.
Damage Delt - 1 for the Deaths he sends at you and 8 if you run into him.
Attacks - Sends two Death enemies at you and floats around the room.
Strategy - Again, pretty simple, despite being nearly killed or killed by
Grim Reaper in one hit almost. I suggest using Dragon first, then use
Golem, then Lickle, but NOT Mouse. Use him if things only are looking bad.
Anyway, just assault him and after a while, he'll fall and the screen will
fade out and you'll beat the Stage.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
- T. Ancient Castle . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . [ ANCAS6.20 ] -
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Note: Do NOT touch the ceiling in parts of the Stage. Those are spikes up
there and they HURT.
Well, welcome to the Ancient Castle, the place where your enemy
awaits...or is it? You'll have to find out. Anyway, as this Stage starts,
watch out for a countless swarm of Baby Dragons. Once you reach the ledge
of the platform, watch it, because a Skull is nearby and flies at you. (If
you took the bottom path with Mouse, there's a Skull here, too.) Jump onto
the floating platforms and deal with another Skull here, then jump across
the pit, dealing with two more Skulls that fly at you, then two more at
the end of the pit. After this, follow the path and deal with two more
Skulls, followed by a Spinning Skull. After you kill these three, use
Golem to grab the Lickle Doll and then continue on and kill another Skull
and grab the Fox Icon above you. Now, again, move on, but in the next
area, there's small grey pieces of concrete I've named "Thwomp", after the
enemies in Mario, because they're so similar. These things can NOT be
destroyed, but they die after "jumping" three times. The best strategy
here is to use Dragon to float in the air and wait for them to die.
(Also, be careful of falling spikes around here. You can easily spot them
on the ceiling, so when you get near, try and trigger them to fall, then
step back to safety.) Deal with the first four Thwomps and two falling
spikes and you'll come to a Big Heart. Before grabbing it, let another
Thwomp kill itself, then go ahead and take it. Once you do, immediately
deal with a charging Bird nearby, followed by two more falling spikes,
another charging Bird and a Thwomp. Then, deal with another Thwomp and
another falling spike and grab the nearby Fox Icon. After doing so, kill
another charging Bird, then move on and handle yet another falling spike,
Thwomp and a charging Bird. (God, I really sound repetitive here. Heh.)
Finally, deal with one more Thwomp, another falling spike and three Birds
and a charging Bird and you're done...with this area. Now, for the next
part, jump onto the platforms and make your way across the pit, but before
you do, either bypass the charging Bird below or deal with it.
Either way, move on and handle four charging Birds here, while another two
pass you by below, so don't worry. Once you're across the pit of spikes,
you have two paths to follow. I suggest the one with Mouse, because it not
only saves time, but fustration. Trust me. Anyway, head up whatever path,
but be warned, there's countless Deaths around, followed by a whopping
thirteen Skulls on the other path, that charge at you. Either dodge them
with Mouse or destroy them slowly one by one, but either way, if you're
taking the Skull path, grab the Healing Potion or the Big Heart on the
small path with Mouse, then continue on and deal with a Spinning Skull.
After this, continue on, but instead of hopping onto platforms here, use
Dragon to just breeze by. There's a new enemy here, called Red Skull, but
ignore them, since there's countless numbers of these things and just fly
over the pit or make your way slowly across.
The platforms here spin and you can't attack while on them, unless you
jump, but you do get a slight boost in your jump when on one, so don't
worry, you CAN make those jumps. Anyway, once you reach the other side
onto solid land, (Rather, platform.) follow the path, but watch out for
Slimes coming out of the walls. There's countless numbers of these things,
but it's a good way to grab some stuff from them if you need to heal.
Whenever you're ready, exit the screen and you'll enter a Boss Battle.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
- Boss Battle: Gold Prince -
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hit Points - 40.
Damage Delt - 3 for the white/black balls he fires at you and 4 if you run
into him.
Attacks - Fires white/black balls at you, either from standing on the
ground or floating in the air and launching them.
Strategy - This guy is a joke. Use Golem and when he's in the air, stay
far away and dodge his shots, then when he gets on the ground, get in
close, I mean close, but not touching him like, but about and his balls
will fly over you. At this point, barrage him and watch his Hit Points
drop. Repeat this and he'll fall, only to reveal his true form.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
- Boss Battle: Gold Demon -
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hit Points - 64.
Damage Delt - 3 for the white/black balls he fires at you and 4 if you run
into him.
Attacks - Fires white/black balls at you and then jumps into the air and
release a massive amount of white/black balls, that come at you, which you
must dodge.
Strategy - Ok, this part is hell. First off, Gold Demon mainly attacks you
with a barrage and I mean a barrage of white/black balls. Mainly, use
Mouse for this part and find which way they're coming from, then get to
the opposite side. Do NOT move AT ALL, unless a white/black ball is on the
ground and coming at you. Then jump over it, but be CAREFUL. After you get
by here, Gold Demon will come down, but for a SHORT time, so rush over
with Mouse and slam some bombs down his throat, as they can seriously
damage him. Remember, Mouse has very little Hit Points and two hits will
kill him, so be careful. If need be, pull out someone else, but you
shouldn't need to, unless you just can't get the timing right for the
white/black balls jumping part. If so, expect to do this part over a few
times. Anyway, once he goes down, the screen will fade out and
congratulations, you've just beaten Seirei Densetu Lickle!
..Only if you played on Easy Mode. If you did, there's more of the game,
actually, on Normal Mode, so play that if you wish. For those of you still
with me on Normal Mode, let's continue, as the screen fades out and shows
you've beaten the Stage.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
- U. Floating Castle Appears . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . [ FLCASA6.21 ] -
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Before this Stage begins, after the last Stage, you'll see a strange
massive Skull rise out of the lake near the Ancient Castle, as it floats
in the air and you'll see it's actually a castle and not just a giant
Skull. Anyway, once you've had enough of the lightning effects, hit the
Start Button and you'll begin this Stage, the final area of the game.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
- V. Floating Castle, Part 1 . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . [ FLCAP6.22 ]-
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
As this Stage begins, watch out for the countless amounts of Skull Spirits
appearing and attacking you. Anyway, go ahead and watch out for the first
Eyeball you see and destroy it, as you find another Eyeball, followed by a
Jelly and yet another Eyeball. After you defeat these Monsters, then
continue on and climb up the path once you are presented to do so. Switch
to Mouse to get by this part, since there's Crawlers around and it's just
easier to get by. (Or use Golem. Doesn't matter.) Defeat the five Crawlers
and grab the two Big Hearts and a Healing Potion along the way. Once you
reach the top, continue on, but watch out for countless Skeleton enemies
and four Jellies as well. This is a good place to heal up if you need to,
so just destroy the Skeletons to get some Hit Points back, but whenever
you're ready, just continue on and exit the screen and you'll enter a Boss
Battle.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
- Boss Battle: Grim Reaper, Round 2 -
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hit Points - 72.
Damage Delt - 1 for the Deaths he sends at you and 8 if you run into him.
Attacks - Sends two Death enemies at you and floats around the room.
Strategy - This is just a rematch fight, nothing that hard. Just use the
same strategy you did before against him, by using Dragon to float in the
air and just constantly blasting him and the countless Deaths he sends at
you. Just like last time, huh? Anyway, once he falls, you'll fight another
Boss of the past.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
- Boss Battle: Green Beast, Round 2 -
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hit Points - 80.
Damage Delt - 2 for it's red fireballs, 3 for it's purple ball of energy
and 2 for running into it.
Attacks - Fires red fireballs at you, as well as firing a single homing
purple energy ball and walks around, trying to corner you.
Strategy: Yet again, use the same strategy from before. Just use Mouse and
get in close, bomb him, get back, dodge his attacks and repeat. He'll fall
VERY fast this way. Once he goes down, the screen will fade out and you'll
have beaten this Stage, but you'll move onto the next part of Floating
Castle now.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
- W. Floating Castle, Part 2 . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . [ FLOCP6.23 ]-
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
As you begin this Stage, once again, watch out for Skull Spirits. Anyway,
go ahead and take out the first two Eyeballs you see, along with any Skull
Spirits nearby, then move on and handle three more Eyeballs. Then,
continue on and take out a single Jelly and make your way up the path.
You'll come across a Spinning Skull, so dispatch it, then you'll see three
Big Hearts, just waiting to heal your team. Though, you'll have to deal
with five Skulls here, but they aren't a threat. Grab the Big Hearts, then
at the top of the path, continue on, but watch out for countless Dinos
here. Anyway, make your way through here, dealing with a total of ten
Jellies, but they're spread out and easy to get by. Once you're at the
end, exit the screen and you'll enter a Boss Battle.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
- Boss Battle: Teal Knight, Round 2 -
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hit Points - 72.
Strategy - He's back, just like the others and the same strategy like
before applies to him yet again. Just use Golem to take care of him like
before, but if he gets weak, use a Healing Potion or switch to Dragon,
then Lickle, then Mouse if you become desperate. I hope it doesn't,
because after he falls, another Boss rises from the dead to attack you.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
- Boss Battle - Demon Dragon, Round 2 -
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hit Points - 80.
Strategy - Well, again, same stategy. Just use Dragon like before to
attack from afar or even Lickle now, actually, but use Golem as a last
resort and Mouse if you're REALLY hurting. Remember to watch out for when
he charges, since he causes a WHOPPING 12 damage, which only Golem can
survive, but BARELY. Anyway, once he falls, the screen will fade out and
you'll beat this Stage, as you head to the final part of Floating Castle.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
- X. Floating Castle, Part 3 . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . [ FCASP6.24 ]-
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Welcome to the final Stage...well, real final Stage of the game. Let's get
this over with, shall we? As you start out, you can follow one of two
paths, either the upper or lower path. I suggest lower, so you can heal
and get a Lickle Doll, since the upper path is just litered with enemies.
Not really good. Anyway, use Mouse to navigate the bottom path and switch
characters when you come to a Big Heart to heal whoever. Just watch out
for countless Baby Dragon enemies everywhere, plus two Spinning Skulls and
six Skulls, but the six Skulls aren't of any threat, IF you took the
bottom path. Now, go along here and collect the four Big Hearts and a
Lickle Doll, then when you get out of it, switch back to Lickle or Dragon
and continue on. Now, for the next part, watch out again for countless
Skull Spirits, but other than that, continue on. Just be careful of the
platforms here, as they are like a Super Mario Bros. game, with how they
fall away if you stand on them for too long. I suggest just using Dragon
here to make things easier for you, but it's your call. Deal with the
first nearby Jelly, then move one and handle another one, followed by a
third and final one. After this, make your way to the other side and
you'll find the exit to the Stage. Exit and you'll encounter the Final
Boss of the game.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
- Boss Battle: Dark Magician -
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hit Points - 80.
Damage Delt - 2 if you touch or are hit by the red ball and 6 if you run
into him.
Attacks - Stands in one corner of the room and just releases a slow moving
red ball, that explodes after some time to hurt you and it heals him for
what damage he causes to you. Unblockable/avoidable.
Strategy - Holy shit, this guy is good. Even though Dark Magician just
stands still and casually throws a red ball at you to sap your Hit Points
away to heal his, your only strategy here to hit him hard and to hit him
fast. Since he can heal himself with every hit, you WILL get hurt here, so
make sure you have enough Hit Points with everyone or you're screwed. If
you want to seriously end this fast, use Mouse and watch his Hit Points
drop to 0 in seconds. But, even though it looks like you one, he's not
done yet...
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
- Boss Battle: Dark Knight -
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hit Points - 80.
Damage Delt - 2 for the red balls he fires at you, 3 for his sword slash
and 6 if you run into him.
Attacks - Throws out three red balls rapidly while on the ground, fires
out eight fireballs in different directions when jumping into the air,
throws his sword out at you and jumps around the room to run into you.
Strategy - Yet again, he's pretty strong, but not as bad as his first
form. Mainly, if you still have Mouse in good condition, continue to bomb
him, but be cautious. Also, target his chest/head to hurt him, as hitting
his legs does nothing. If Mouse is too hurt to fight, use Dragon or
Lickle, since Golem's a tad slow for this, but if you want to hit him
hard, use Golem. (Just be careful, because if he runs into Mouse's Bombs
before they explode, he "eats" them and they don't go off.) Anyway, just
barrage him and he'll fall. Once he does, it's the end for him and you've
won...but not quite. Now you need to escape from the Floating Castle or
your entire adventure will end here and now. After this, the screen will
fade out and you'll have beaten this Stage.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
- Y. The Escape . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . [ THESC6.25 ] -
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Well, as we begin the REAL final Stage of the game, you'll be happy to see
your entire team is fully healed, which is a must for this part. I can
give no real strategy here, since the explosions/falling rocks are all
around the screen, but do try your best to avoid it all. I will walk you
through this, but I can't do much about avoiding damage. Just be prepared
to try a few times, ok? Anyway, from the start, fly across the spikes with
Dragon and then use Mouse to crawl through the wall here. Then, switch
back to Dragon and fly across another pit, switch to Mouse and crawl
through another hole, then fly across one more pit and use Mouse once more
and then follow the path up with either Lickle or Dragon. Now, at the top
of this area, you'll see a moving piece of land. Do NOT try and use Mouse
to climb over it or something, as touching it kills you. Instead, the only
way to get by this, seems to be to get damaged and to use the invincible
time to rush by it. So, get hit by a rock and then while hurt, rush past
the block and exit the screen. Congratulations, NOW you have beaten Seirei
Densetsu Lickle. Good job. Now, sit back and watch the ending.

- Z. Ending . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . [ ENDI6.26 ]-
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
After escaping the Floating Castle, the Bell appears, but suddenly, Dark
Knight comes out of it and isn't dead yet. He stabs Lickle, but Dragon
appears and fires fireballs at him, but they do nothing and pass through
him, so he rushes him and tackles him down a pit, as the real Bell flies
up and Lickle comes out. He looks around for Dragon, but can't find him,
as he comes flying it. After this, the scene fades out and it shows him
flying over some mountains with Lickle hanging onto him, with the sun
rising, as the credits role. After they do, everyone arrives back and
meets the King, as Mouse jumps around and then you're thanked for playing,
with everyone standing together in the King's Castle and at the very end,
you'll see a nice graphics of the group together. With that, the game's
over. So, get up, stretch out, grab some food, whatever. You're done, so
be happy. Heh heh. Thanks for reading.
