Batting:
D-Pad - Move
A - Swing
B - Steal (Must use D-Pad to indicate which player to steal with)
Start - Pause
Select - Switch side (only available for switch hitters)
Baserunning:
D-Pad+B - Advance Runner (Use D-Pad pointing to next base)
D-Pad+A - Return Runner (Use D-Pad pointing to previous base)
Fielding:
D-Pad - Move
A - Dive (While moving)/Throw ball (when you have the ball)
B - Run down a runner (Press direction of next base to run down player in
a pickle)
Pitching:
D-Pad - Move before pitching/Change direction of ball after pitching
A - Pitch
Start - Pause

2. - Strategies HRN2

* Picking the right stadium. This one isn't too important but it's kind of
nice to be able to pick. Every stadium has proportional dimensions but
some are bigger than the others so it's basically like a difficulty
setting. Below is the list of stadiums and their dimensions:

* Learn to judge where the ball is going. It could be tough at first but you
must be able to accurately judge the ball in order to win these games.
* The players in this game move pretty quickly so go ahead and try to make
some quick diving plays with the infielders instead of playing it safe and
giving it to the outfielders.
* If you get the ball in the outfield and it's not a pop out, always throw
it to the next base that the runner could run to. You most likely won't
beat him but this way you can prevent him from getting any further.
* If you're in the deep outfield, throw it to the cut off man. For example,
if you're in right field throwing to third base, throw it to the player in
the middle at second base and then quickly throw it to third base.
* Be very careful when base running. Unlike games like RBI Baseball,
everything moves a lot quicker and more smoothly so sometimes a double will
even be difficult to get.
